Treasures in Heaven
Money and wealth are the most important thing for anybody next to his or her live. So, it is worth checking the words of Christ Jesus on this matter.
Mat 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
Mat 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Mat 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
This teaching proves that ; there is Heaven; money and wealth are important for men; there are types of money and wealth that can be accumulated in Heaven; and men can go up to Heaven.
However, laying up treasures in heaven is an important concept. Men can accumulate their treasures in Heaven. But how can they do it?
By giving up or abandoning money and wealth for God's sake, men can accumulate treasures in Heaven. Or by loosing his money or wealth for the sake of love, justice, and holiness, men can accumulate treasures in Heaven. Otherwise, by loving the poor or being kind and benevolent to the poor, men can accumulate money and wealth in Heave.
If a man or woman does a kindness to others, he or she must feel emotionally good, psychologically satisfied, and spiritually fulfilled. It means that treasures are laid in Heaven.
If a man or woman gives up money and wealth for compassion, justice, love or holiness, he or she must feel emotionally good, psychologically satisfied, and spiritually fulfilled. It means that treasures are laid in Heaven.
But if men get big money and wealth for their selves in this world, no treasures are laid in Heave.
And, if a poor man gives one dollar to the much poor, more treasures should be accumulated in Heaven than a rich who gives a million dollars to the poor while he possesses ten billion dollars. Indeed, the more given, the more required.
