The Holy Mystery of the Heart

Our Lord Jesus Christ was aware that we wanted to eat fully delicious foods but He thought that it was absurd.

25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? (Matthew 6)

What gives life to our body is not the brain but the heart that pushes blood to the brain and other parts of the body.  The blood is created in the bones; it is not generated in the heart.  The blood carries oxygen and other nutrition to the brain, etc.  The heart works without interruption while we are alive, repeating expansion and contraction 100,000 times a day to circulate the blood flow.

So, what gives life to our bodies is the hearts and blood.   According a Japanese heart specialist, even the hearts of old men aged 90 or more look fresh.  The heart working 100,000 times a day without interruption never gets old.  But its cells cannot be reproduced like brain cells.  The heart and the brain are still mysterious.   

In addition, in any languages, the word meaning the heart also means the mind or the center of sentiment, although the brain is the center of consciousness.

The heart takes oxygen and nutrition from the blood, too.  However, it should work with the spiritual energy.  Those whose hearts were transplanted from donners sometimes find that their tastes have changed to those of donners.  The heart should not have memory, but the spirit of the donner should come to his/her heart transplanted in another man/woman from the spirit world, influencing the soul and mind of the person who underwent the heart transplant.    

So, the heart must be a gate for a spirit to the human body, and it turns to be a soul in the brain to generate a mind.  With the spirit, the spiritual energy should come into the heart, so that due to the spiritual energy it can work repeating expansion and contraction 100,000 times a day as long as a man lives.

The brain and the heart are the places closely linked to spiritual energy, so that their cells should not be reproduced and changed.  This linkage should need stable physical conditions.  In religious rituals like in Christianity, procedures have been fixed from long time ago without frequent changes.  The place with linkage to the spirit world should be conservative.

So, it cannot be said that everything liberal and progressive is good or holy.  I am afraid that the heart of the U.S. is losing its linkage to the spirit world.

Think about Life in the Afterlife

Jesus Christ said that those who believed in Him would never die, since they believed in the life, namely Him, so that they should live even though they got into the state of death:

25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (John 11)

Therefore, Christians believed that they would enter Heaven after death in this world.  But as the time wend by, people came to lose their faith in Heaven or the afterlife.  Especially when the science revolution and the Industrial Revolution started in England in the 18th century, materialism started to prevail and people chose material happiness more than happiness in Heaven after death in this world.

It is ironic that Isaac Newton (1642-1727) who was a diligent researcher of the Bible launched various scientific theories to promote modern science, which led to development of materialism.  But, in the same period, our Lord Jesus Christ appeared to Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772), promising him to show the afterlife while living in this world, and Swedenborg wrote many books on his experiences in the afterlife or the spirit world.  His work led to later development of spiritualism.  As Swedenborg died in London, his influence was strongly seen in England.           

In the period from the late 19th century prior to WWI, spiritualism grew so much in England and France, so that necromantic parties or seances prevailed.  This trend has continued to date.  But, it has not led to renovation of Chistianity and Christian churches.  Yet, during WWI, the Holy Mother appeared in Fatima, Portugal, to give warnings about tragic future of the mankind, and She continued to make her apparition in Garabandal, Medjugorje, etc. while the material civilization has further grown through WWII, electronic revolution, Internet revolution, and AI revolution.

Finally we have come to this early 21st century, but we have not yet seen another Swedenborg or Mary apparition while WWIII seems to come closer with the wars in Ukraine and Gaza and abnormal weather has been intensified with global warning.

For any individual, his own death is more important than collapse of the human civilization.  But as he is so observed to his material live, pursuing material happiness, he must lose interest in the fate of the mankind or the human civilization.  Modern materialism based on modern technology driven further by computers and AI makes people forget about words of Christ Jesus and coming fate in the afterlife or the spiritual world.   

Put simply, the God has sent warnings many times to the mankind through the Holy Mother, Swedenborg, etc., while Satan has brainwashed the mankind with money as material civilization has further developed.  But, as it is now 2,000 years after Christ Jesus in the human world and 4,000 years after Abraham, the hour of destiny should come.  WWIII would happen and great natural disasters should ensue in the 21st century if our repentance is not enough.

We have to think about why our lord Jesus Christ emphasized the afterlife.  Life in the afterlife in the spirit world should be more important than life in this world.  It should be because those allowed to enter into Heaven are given eternal life and happiness while others fall into the heals to be ultimately exterminated with Satan by the God.  

We should stop pursuing money and promoting material civilization while being brainwashed by Satan in the form of money.  We should study the Bible like Newton and explore the spirit world like Swedenborg.  And, we have to build spiritual civilization rather than material civilization.  Then, we may be allowed to survive to the 22nd century and for another 2,000 years.  If the human world can continue, our spirits in the afterlife or the spirit world in the future should be rejoiced more.  

Anyway, the spirit world is said to be another face of the human world.  Our faith in this world should help us in the afterlife.  But, rich men who have sold their souls to Satan should not be helped in the afterlife.  To improve our spiritual status, we have to read the Bible and think more about the words of Christ Jesus but not about money.

A Japanese Psychic Saw Satan in Putin 

According to a survey by an American research company, about 60% of the Japanese answered to a question about religion that they believe in no religion.  But according to a survey by the Japanese government, Japanese who believe in shintoism (the religion unique to Japan where gods in the nature are revered) account for about 49% and those who believe in Buddhism account for about 46%; most of the Japanese believe in shintoism or Japanese Buddhism; but although Christians in Japan account for about 1% of the whole population, almost everybody enjoys Christmas and show respect to Christ Jesus.

The Japanese culture has been based on respect to and belief in deities of shintoism even before Buddhism was officially imported into Japan from China through the Korean peninsula in the 6th century; shintoism and Buddhism have penetrated so deep into Japanese minds that Japanese do not especially realize that they are believers in shintoism or Buddhism in the sense of Christianity or Judaism.  But, every year about 65 million Japanese visit shinto shrines or Buddhist temples to celebrate a new year in early January or at the end of the year.  It is part of social custom and not a practice of religion such as Christians' going to churches every week.  

Japanese usually do not believe in any specific deities of shintoism or Buddhism, and they seldom join rituals of any religions except on special occasions such as wedding, funeral rites, new year celebration, etc., so that they would answer that they have no religion (like Christianity) to religion surveys, since they do not perform regularly any religious rituals like Christians going to churches every Sunday.  Indeed, shitoism and Japanese Buddhism do not require their followers, except professional priests or monks of the religions, to follow strict disciplines like Christianity, etc.  So, Japanese think they do not belong to any religions in the global sense.   

But, their lives and social environments are highly influenced by essence of shintoism and Buddhism.  Japanese daily use the word of "kami-sama hotoke-sama" (gods or Buddha) as holy entities or deities having spiritual or super-natural power to be respected.  But, as there are so many deities of shintoism and Buddhism, Christianity has no specific appeals to the Japanese.  Japanese are living surrounded by too many deities and religious spirits, so that spiritualness of Christianity is not needed in their daily lives.  Yet, as the modern civilization is based on technology, science, democracy, etc. generated in Europe based on Christianity, most of the Japanese admit power of Christianity.  Besides, the current Japanese constitution was based on a draft made by America after WWII, so that the constitution of Japan is highly influenced by Christianity. 

So, the structure of the nation and society of Japan is based on Christianity like other G7 countries, but spiritualism based on shintoism and Japanese Buddhism is at the core of Japanese minds.  Therefore, a new religion where a certain deity of shintoism or Buddhism is adopted as its main god is sometimes built.  There are about 80,000 independent religious bodies/organizations in each category of shinto and Buddhism systems.  Therefore, Japan is filled with spiritual influences of shintoism and Buddhism.

That is why Japanese psychics see deities of shintoism or Buddhism and hear their words.  In their view on the spirit world, the spirit of Christ Jesus is just one of great spirits at the highest level in the spirit world.  Some believe that there is the supreme deity of shintoism or Buddhism above those highest spirits such as Christ Jesus.

Anyway, there are many psychics in Japan associated with shintoism or Buddhism.  And they claim that they can see deities, angels, and even evil spirits and Satan through their psychic eyes.

One of them recently wrote in his blog in the internet that he could see Satan on Putin, Russian President.  Satan would force Putin to further continue the war in Ukraine.  It is so dangerous.  Therefore we have to pray that Satan will leave Putin.  He recommended to chant a spell of mantra: "Nomakusanmanda Bazaradansenda Makarosyada Sowatayauntarata Kanman," to drive Satan out of Putin. 

In any religions, the concepts of the supreme god, holy spirits, and evil spirits as well as Satan are common.  We have to accept various interpretations on the spirit world.  What is important is that people admit the difference between good and evil, namely good spirits and evil spirits.

As for me, it is so impressive that when Swedenborg, an 18th century great psychic, met a mysterious figure who promised him to show the afterlife or the spirit world, the figure told Swedenborg that he was the creator of the universe, God, and Christ.  Indeed, Christ Jesus must be above any deities of shintoism and Buddhism, although some Japanese believe their deities are above Christian deities such as Christ Jesus.            

Anyway, there must be the God who created the human world, this material world including the whole universe, and the spirit world. 

The mankind should believe in the God through any religions.

Foolishness of God vs. Men's Wisdom

One of the most impressive passages in the Bible is as follows:

25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. ( Corinthians 1)

Those who are called fools following God's teaching are actually wiser than those who are called wise men in this world.  Those who look weak following God's teaching are stronger than those with worldly strength such as physical power and economic power.  In other word, those who look foolish and weak from a point of view in this world are in essence wiser and stronger from a point of view in the spirit world than those who are wise and strong in the human world.

According to teaching by our Lord Jesus Christ, everybody goes to the spirit world after death in this world, and money has no power in the spirit world or the afterlife.  But those who have lived poor and faithful lives while accumulating wealth in Heaven through their righteous lives and good conducts are paid in the spirit world.  So, believers would not seek for opportunities in this world where big money can be earned.  But others who know that big money makes them materially happy and strong despise those who do not try to get big money as fools.  Yet, those despised as fools in this world know that they would be accepted in Heaven where eternal lives and happiness should be given while rich men should fall into the hells in the spirit world.     

Therefore, fools in this world are wise in the afterlife.  The weak in this world are stronger in the afterlife.   

To understand this truth is what people should learn in the afterlife or the spirit world.  So, any religion should teach this lesson.  The essence in any religions should be that there is afterlife in the spirit world; money has no power in afterlife in the spirit world; and physical strength is meaningless there.  

In this world it is said that money and knowledge are power to make people happy.  However, it is love and faith in the God that make people accepted in Heaven in the afterlife or the spirit world.  Physical strength is meaningless in the afterlife or the spirit world where no spirits or souls have physical bodies

Indeed, it is said that one can realize anything he wants through thinking or power of imagination in the spirit world.  But, love and faith in the God should be obtained and formed while living in the human world.  It seems too late to realize after death that love and faith in the God are keys to enter into Heaven.  That must be why some people have to be born again in the human world.  In this context, this human world may well be called the place for ascetic training.      

Indeed, according to a spirit in the afterlife who had been a prince of a samurai clan in a territory around Tokyo some 400 years ago and was invoked in a seance or spiritual communications, she had to continue spiritual training in the after life.  As she had been a Japanese woman in the samurai era, she was not helped and guided in the afterlife by Christian spirits but by a great spirit in Japanese shintoism.  She said that she was taught to abandon adhesion to the human world.

Therefore, in any religions in this world in any periods, truth in the spirit world or the afterlife is same.

Material happiness or greatness in this world means nothing in the afterlife or the spirit world.  Even knowledge and wisdom in the human world turn to nothing in the afterlife or the spirit world.  Only the ability to feel and accept the teaching of the God counts.   

So, the more you look foolish in terms of commonsense in the human world, the more you have a chance to be accepted in Heaven after death.  Be foolish rather than being too cute by half.
