"Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah "
(Mt. Fuji First, Hawks Second, and Eggplants Last in Japanese first dream of the New Year...; you may click on a picture to enlarge.)
Lessons for Children, Old Men, and Manhood
Japanese Prime Minister started his "personal" blog posting on January 1, 2009.
Pictures in his blog site are to be taken by Prime Minister Mr. Yukio Hatoyama himself or his secretaries.
http://hatocafe.kantei.go.jp/
Though he does not directly operate a computer system for blog posting, his secretaries would honestly input his sentences, sent to them by the prime minister via an e-mail system, into a Prime Minister's blog page on the Internet.
Viewers can send their comments via Twitter to the prime minister, which are to be displayed on a monitor screen on one of his desks in the Prime Minister's Office, unless blocked due to any quality and security criteria.
So, you had better learn Japanese to feel so connected to the Japanese Prime Minister himself, even from Taipei, Seoul, Beijing, New Delhi, Moscow, or New York.
However, you cannot tell how long it will continue or whether it will enable his Cabinet to continue longer than critics expect...since there are so many spies and agents using the Internet.
SECTION I: QUIZ TO CHILDREN
In a certain public elementary school in Japan, the following question was asked of children:
An adult asked some help of three children. When the children finished their humble jobs, the adult gave them four cakes. Now, how should the cakes be distributed among the kind children? Choose an appropriate answer from the following:
I. Divide the four cakes into three four-thirds portions, and have each child take equally one portion.
II. Have a child who showed the best performance take all the four cakes.
III. As a friend of one of the three children happened to come there, the four cakes should be distributed among the three plus one children.
A teacher then gave the right answer, telling the pupils that they had to choose the case III.
Indeed, in China, America, and EU, teachers must be telling that pupils must choose or accept the case II, since the society is functioning based on a principle represented by the case II.
But, in Japan, some teachers really like to persuade pupils to choose or accept the case III (as these socialist teachers reportedly hate competition of whatever sort, thus trying to demolish the spirit of capitalism with this sort of educational practices, though they cannot build industry to feed the people).
A negative effect of competition cannot be conquered by simply denying a positive effect of competition. Yet, desire-driven competition is not desirable, while ideal-driven competition can contribute to progress of the society. Reward is a secondary matter.
According to the teaching of Jesus Christ, competition must be indeed aimed at gaining the favor of the God.
SECTION II: AMERICAN PRISONS
The Japan Times in its December 29, 2009, issue quoted from Los Angeles Times' article by Mr. David Fathi:
----------
By 2005, the prison population (in the U.S.) was six times what it had been in 1975...
In 1980 the U.S. had about 9,500 prisoners age 55 and older; by 2008, the number had increase tenfold, to 94,800...
With one in 11 U.S. prisoners serving a life sentence - in some states, the figure is 1 in 6 - it's no surprise that the number of elderly prisoners is skyrocketing...
Being in prison is hard on anyone, but elderly people face special dangers, particularly if they are ill or disabled...And older prisoners are more likely to be robbed, assaulted or otherwise victimized...
----------
Law must be equally applied.
But, different provisions must be included in law for different types of people: younger ones and older ones; stronger ones and weaker ones; and rich ones and poor ones.
For example, for 10-dollar robbery, a richer criminal must be more severely corrected than a poor one who has less than 10 dollars.
Or, a different provision should be prepared for a 10-dollar thief who is poor and older than 60.
Essentially, a prison is for correction of professional criminals, including terrorists. Education and training must be two major pillars; violence and crimes must be two objectives to eradicate in a prison system.
SECTION III: Around 1500
As I wrote on Wednesday, December 16, 2009:
Yet, you must realize that Christopher Columbus (1451 – 1506) preceded Martin Luther (1483 – 1546) though both the heroes lived around 1500.
Then what happened around 1500 in Japan, China, and India?
In 1493, the then samurai regime of Japan faced a crisis. The Ashikaga shogunate based in Kyoto could not protect its shogun or the samurai president any more. Each samurai clan in local regions started to compete and fight with one another, leading to a century-long civil war in Japan.
So, the year 1493 is the beginning of the Warring States period of Japan, a time of social upheaval, political intrigue, and nearly constant military conflict in Japan that lasted roughly from the middle of the 15th century to the beginning of the 17th century.
In Japan after 1493, though Columbus arrived at part of America in 1492 providing the oldest root for the U.S., many samurai clans and factions started to openly battle with one another unlike before over feuds and other advantages, while the then samurai shogun (president or king) lost his hegemony to diminish into the nominal head of the samurai class.
Around this era, the Ashikaga clan had held the hegemony over Japan. The head of the Ashikagas assumed the shogun status based on their military power. However, unlike the first samurai regime situated in Kamakura since the early 12th century, this second samurai regime set its administrative capital in Kyoto since the early 14th century. It meant that samurais still absolutely needed some kind of authority of the imperial court to augment their own authority over their territory and people.
Anyway, the mode, mood, or spirit of this Warring States period or the era of great civil wars among samurais in the Japanese Middle Ages lasted under the surface until the last samurai regime by the Tokugawas situated in Edo (Tokyo) fell in 1868 (close to the time when the American Civil War ended).
So, there were remarkably parallel situations between Japan and America.
It is so, since while the early American mood, mode, and spirit, no matter how wild or courageous, were being formed during the first century after Columbus' 1492 arrival at America, individual samurai clans started to rise and fight for their own benefits and glory for a century after 1493 though before this era there had been strong order and respect for the top samurai clans who were believed to be truly associated with the ancient imperial family through their blood lines.
Some Europeans started to depart from the Vatican around 1492 to be Americans.
Most samurais started to depart from the traditional samurai authority, associated with the ancient imperial court, around 1493 to be more independent rulers of Japan, regardless of their formal respect for the imperial court that was destined to suffer lack of any political and economic power until 1868.

Japanese high-ranking officials and politicians must read the P.M. Mr. Hatoyama's blog once a week as a quasi duty, since the prime minister has lauched "personal" blog and the Twitter communications.
Yet, I am writing my blog sentences to those who can understand to whom EEE Reporter articles are posted and presented.
It is so, since some others do not know even what the year 1500 means to Japan, the U.S., and Europe.
("How many times will I have to wake up in the morning till Happy New Year?" a Japanese song titled "New Year Day (O-Shogatsu)" goes so, since letting out a kite and spinning a top are happy games on New Year holidays. Indeed silent and pious festivity are so high on January 2, traditionally, in Japan.

"Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself"
("Respectfully Happy New Year," it reads over the sign of the shinto-talisman dealing counter, around Tokyo; you may cleans your hand before entering the holy precinct even if your hand is clean...)
Great New Year Eve of Japan
"Whee! It is the new year eve ('O-Misoka' in Japanese) at last!"
"Uh! What should I do? What can I do finally before 0:00 of January 1?"
"Ah! I must go to a shrine after 0:00 of January 1 to pray to whatever holy spirit for my wish!"
"Whee! It is O-Misoka ('the new year eve' in English) at last!"
Yet, Christians, Muslims, Judaists, Chinese, Indians, and others might just think:"Oh, January 1, 2010 is Friday. We get a long weekend from the beginning of 2010."
But, the New Year Day ("Gan-Tan" in Japanese) is beyond the week system for Japanese people.
It is truly strange that the Vatican has not ever declared that Jesus Christ must have been born on January 1, since He is the Son of God.
SECTION I: THE WOMAN OF 2009 (the Japanese version)
Maybe, the Japanese Woman of 2009 is the wife of Mr. Hideki Matsui, a Japanese Major League Baseball Player, since he won the title of the Most Valuable Player in the World Series as he overwhelmingly contributed to the world championship of the New York Yankees.
However, no one will complain if I suggest that the Japanese Woman of 2009 is still Ms. Megumi Yokota who was abducted by North Korean agents in their spy operation decades ago, since she is yet to be set free and return to Japan and her parents waiting for so long.
Yet, some might like to nominate Ms. Eriko Fukuda (DPJ lawmaker), Ms. Ai Miyazato (golfer), Ms. Noriko Sakai (actress), etc.
SECTION II: IPPEN
There are two Nobel Prize winners for literature in Japan.
Only one of them is alive and active, since Mr. Kenzaburo Oe (1935-) was born in Ehime Prefecture of the Shikoku Island situated southwest of Kyoto and Osaka.
Ehime Pref. is also well associated with So-seki Natsume (1867-1916), the most respected author in Japan of the modern era.
Yet, you might still remember the Ehimemaru Incident that occurred in early 2001. Nine crewmen of Ehimemaru, a Japanese high school fishing training ship, were killed in collision with an American submarine, USS Greeneville. This tragedy triggered not only resignation of then Prime Minister Mr. Yoshiro Mori, but also foretold the coming 9/11 Terror, for some reasons. (Refer to the EEE Reporter posting on Tuesday, January 16, 2007.)
The most important figure is however Holy Buddhist Priest Ippen (1234 – 1289) among prominent people from Ehime.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ippen
From my study on the Japanese Buddhism, I believe that Ippen is the most important Buddhist for Japan.
He, an ex-samurai, preached all over Japan like a beggar, abandoning a family life with his wife and a daughter and teaching poor people how to believe in Buddha, while the first samurai regime of Japan was going to face invasion by the Mongolian forces of Yuan Dynasty in 1274 and 1281. From this war with Mongolians, the concept of "kamikaze" was created.
Anyway, Ippen said, "Abandon all, and then you prove your faith and you will be saved."
A picture scroll depicting his travelling with bare feet is a very precious cultural asset for Japan today.
In that Ippen emphasized thoroughly a need for being poor and loved truly the poor as one of them, he is so close to Jesus Christ.
SECTION III: CORRELATION BETWEEN WEALTH AND INSIGHT
Experiences, knowledge, information, and data can be purchased.
Accordingly a big company has more experiences, knowledge, information, and data than a small company.
Yet, big companies also suffer a loss, financial difficulties, and disadvantageous competition sometimes.
They cannot even avoid a recession.
If you have $1 billion, you need insight into $100 billion matters.
If you have $1 million, you need insight into $100 million matters.
If you have $100, you need insight into $10,000 matters.
If you have $1, you need insight into $100 matters so as to perfectly take the responsibility required for the money you have.
This kind of an accelerated scale effect is critically lacked in analyses by economists.
It can be also extended to the degree of combination.
A theory effective in a situation where only one or two combinations are possible cannot be simply applied to a situation where 100 or more combinations are available.
This kind of a multiplied combination effect is critically lacked in analyses by economists.
Indeed the business world only dealing with a margin, if as a result of many and complicated calculations, is too barren.
*** *** *** ***
Have you met anybody you can respect this year 2009?
If that somebody is richer than you, you have to think about Jesus Christ more.
It is so, since Jesus Christ was as poor as those who respected Him 2000 years ago.
Finally, it is truly my wish that you have had actually a happy year in 2009.
In Japan, it is said literally that an afreet or a human-like monster will laugh at you if you talk about things of the next year. God knows what may happen next year.
Now, 1 hour and 50 minutes to 0:00 of January 1, 2010 in Japan.
(An hour ago or so, I saw a flickering jet plane, which could not be an ordinary commercial one, flying high somehow roaring to the southwest in the cold, dark night sky governed by strikingly cool and clear moon shining almost vertical over my head...Good Night!)
Mar 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Mar 12:32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:
Mar 12:33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
Mar 12:34 And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

"rather seek ye the kingdom of God"
TIME TO GIVE UP OR TAKE FINAL ACTION?
Everybody must have made a hard decision in the past year.
However, if a direction is wrong, whatever decision would lead to fiasco eventually.
If a direction is right, a temporary outcome does not matter if materially success or not.
Look up at the sky and the sun, and you will know that the earth has run around the sun over a six times or more longer distance than the one between you and the sun this year.
Indeed a direction is at issue, since it is a precondition of righteousness.
SECTION I: THE MAN OF 2009
The Man of 2009 in the U.S. is Mr. Michael Moore with his film "Capitalism." Michael Jackson and Mr. Tiger Woods follow him, though having enjoyed American capitalism a bit little too much.
The Man of 2009 in Japan is Prime Minister Mr. Yukio Hatoyama who turned over the defacto half-a-century ruling by the Liberal Democratic Party on the 2009-30-8 election with his colleagues of the Democratic Party of Japan.
Yet, recently some key supporters for P.M. Mr. Hatoyama seem to be disappointed not only because of his bush or amateurish handling of his millions-dollar assets used in his political activities but also because of relationships with very veteran politicians Minister Mr. Shizuka Kamei and DPJ champion Mr. Ichiro Ozawa who are speaking so loud over the media nowadays.
It is unknown how long P.M. Mr. Hatoyama can sustain his Cabinet. But, as one of ministers of the Abe Cabinet committed suicide before the 2007 Upper House election due to heavy attacks focused on his political money scandal by the DPJ, P.M. Mr. Hatoyama might eventually follow the similar pattern to that of former P.M. Mr. Shinzo Abe of the LDP.
Former Prime Minister Mr. Shinzo Abe held up his principle "Restore Beautiful Japan" based on which he carried out some reformation in the Japanese educational and administrative regimes. But, unfortunately he was forced to resign the premiership due to illness.
Present Prime Minister Mr. Yukio Hatoyama asserted his dream of "Fraternalism" based on which he has flown to Korea, China, and India. But, unfortunately he might choose early resignation as he has involved his mother, a daughter of the founder of the great tire company Bridgestone Corporation, in the authorities' investigation into his questionable political money handling.
(However, His Majesty the Emperor invited to lunch the Prime Minister and his Cabinet members a week ago or so...)
SECTION II: MENCIUS
The mother of Mencius (Mo[u]shi in Japanese), a great Chinese philosopher (372 – 289 BCE) of the era of Alexander the Great, changed her residence three times.
When she lived near a temple, her child Mencius played a funeral game. When she moved near a market, her child Mencius played a merchant game. When she moved near a school, her child Mencius studied so hard as she wished.
Accordingly, this anecdote is still well known in Japan today as "Mo-bo San-Sen (Mencius' mother's three-times relocation)."
Mencius said that there are two types of kings:
"One who establishes his hegemony relying on armed forces and another relying on his virtue."
Only a big country can survive eventually, if it is led by a king relying on armed forces. Yet, his kingdom will face endless challenges from other nations also relying on armed forces. Peace is indeed difficult to be expected to come and stay.
But, even a small country governed by a king relying on his virtue, charity, and righteousness can stand for very long time while receiving respect even from peoples of other nations.
The former is called hegemonism and the latter the rule of right.
SECTION III: Logic of Economics
If an event A causes an event B, it is expressed as "A-->B."
In this convention, a typical logic of economis is as follows:
A-->B
B-->C
C-->A
Accordingly, "A-->B" in a new cycle results in a different state of B.
If A is a measure to decrease an unemployment rate B, the decreased unemployment rate has an influence on C which in turn effects A. As a result, an unemployment rate can be increased to the initial state of B.
Therefore, in the long run, an unemployment rate will be settled at a constant level after passing through the above cycle or cycles.
The point at issue is of course related to definition of A, B, and C as well as definition of an effective range of this logic.
Insufficient definition and wrong judgement of the effective scope make their theory useless in improving the society.

Is Japan truly going to slight the U.S. under the Hatoyama Administration or the regime of the Democratic Party of Japan?
Some Asians are really worrying.
However it is not a right judgement. It is a kind of natural consequences of 65 years of peace for Japan. In these 65 years, no Japanese self-defense personnel have been engaged in war or battles. Though North Korea is now equipped with nuclear bombs, Japanese people come to think that it is time to review American military presence inside Japan.
It does not mean that Japan is going to be another China in terms of national security of the U.S., having nuclear missiles covering Washington D.C. and requesting a defacto G2 alliance. It is rather to correspond more flexibly to situations in Asia where poor countries are afraid of China and the U.S. It is to help poor Asian countries more effectively from arrogance of China and the U.S.
For example, Japanese Suzuki Motor Corporation is now the No.1 car maker in India while Japanese Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. sells more cars in China than in Japan. Asia accounts for 28.6% of all the Japan's direct oversea investment, while North America 15.4%.
Diplomatically and economically Japan is going liberal, though domestically very conservative under the surface.
(Ref. to http://lib21.blog96.fc2.com/blog-entry-1016.html)
In turn, America must be also going liberal and more Christian, in my humble view.

"O ye of little faith?"
Like Water Flowing, Like Air Circulating, and Like Dragon Rising under the Sun
The Woman of 2009 is of course Secretary of State Mrs. Hillary Rodham Clinton. It is not her personality but her view on the world that has been tested this year. In fact, no terrorism has been successfully conducted in the air, on the land, or at sea around the American homeland this year so far. Arguably, one stupid comment on Israel, Islam, Iran, India, and international relationships with Russia, China, and North Korea might have damaged American reputation.
In Japan, it is said that Secretary Mrs. Clinton recently put the Japanese ambassador to America on report to the State building and also called the Japanese Foreign Minister by phone, probably, to make clear her standpoint on the U.S. Marine bases in Okinawa, Japan.
If America cannot maintain trust from Japan, it cannot act even like a super power in economy and war.
Anyway, the Obama-Hillary line can win more friends, probably, than the Bush-Rice line from poor countries in the world.
SECTION I: LAO-TZE
About 2500 years ago or so, Confucius described Laozi or Lao-Tze after receiving a lesson from him as a kind of dragon, since there are no methods to catch a dragon while there is against any other animals.
Accordingly, Lao-Tze, a kind of holy hermit so mysterious, preached some down to people:
"One who lives a righteous life on the righteous path never leaves traces of his act, movement, and existence."
"The best way of living is to live like water. Water benefits everybody. It flows to places everybody dislikes and keeps a distance from. Accordingly, water is close to righteousness and holiness."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laozi
As Loa-Tze, an actual person or not, was freer from worldliness than any other ancient Chinese thinkers, he is still respected and preferred by many Japanese.
In contrast, Confucius had a dream of administering a nation in an ideal manner applying his wisdom.
If you want to be a leader, you must try to be a Confucius; if not, you had better think of trying to become a Lao-Tze.
SECTION II: FINANCIAL DEFICIT OF JAPAN
As I once wrote, if China is adjacent to America over borders, for example, in the south like Mexico or in the north like Canada, America should suffer grave deflation.
How can any single economy, except Japan, stand over 20 years while helping one billion or more Chinese and their industries to grow as large as Japan?
It is not a miracle of China but of Japan.
Chinese rise in the 21st century is a result of a miracle Japan has brought about on the Asian Continent during the 20th century.

I gave a warning one or two months ago that a liquid bomb, if used by a suicide terrorist, could destroy a jet airliner.
However, those who viewed EEE Reporter seem to have failed in alerting the U.S. Government while they were expected to do so.
A Japanese man was abducted in Yemen though released in safety; a rare rain fell around Mecca causing big floods; and Dubai crashed in building follies like a mirage.
It is time for all the peace-loving Muslims in the world to recall the tragedies of the great Sumatra tsunami and earthquake of December 2004 and unite for prevention of suicide-bombing terrorism, since it must be only Allah who takes life away from man.
About a half an hour ago, a Japanese cable TV channel introduced an 11-year old girl living in Gaza who lost her father and younger brother in the invasion by Israel a year ago, while having been hit on the head where a score of fragments still remain giving her an unbearable pain.
However, most probably, this sort of news report is not allowed to be delivered through the mainstream media in the U.S.
Yet, you just now got information that EEE Reporter listened to the news.
(December 25 is regarded as the end of the Christmas festivity in Japan. No one buys Christmas cakes any more on December 26. However, Bach [1685-1750] composed some for Christ. It is December 29, Tuesday, 2009 today.

"with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength"
Unconditional Truth and Temporary Theory
This is the last Monday of 2009. Like the last Monday of 2008, 2001, 1997, 1995, 1991, 1990, 1987, and so on, it will be taken out from mankind and realigned in history.
It is only meaningful in such a context as that where somebody repents, comes back to his right senses, and starts to praise the God on the last Monday of 2009.
Now three to go, folks.
SECTION I: CONFUCIUS
A follower of Confucius, an ancient Chinese philosopher oriented toward a ruler or a premier, asked his master one day 2500 years ago or so:
"What does the governing of a nation mean, Master?"
"The politics is based on trust, economy, and military, my friend."
"If one of the three elements should be given up, what would you forsake, Master?"
"Military, my friend."
"If two of the three elements should be given up, what would you forsake next, Master?"
"Economy, my friend."
"What is the element a monarch should secure until the end, Master?"
"Trust, my friend."
It is crystal-clear that if a monarch does not observe laws and decrees promulgated under his name, he would surely lose the public faith and the confidence of people.
That is why there is no dynasty in China that could stand more than 500 years.
In this context, it is noteworthy that the Japanese Imperial family has continued its uninterrupted succession to the throne for 1800 years and the Vatican 1900 years to date in a strict sense based on history.
SECTION II: SUPPLY AND DEMAND
If unlimited supply potential exists, a price will be adjusted only according to demand. It is why more demand is needed to get rid of deflation.
(Note that scales on the two horizontal axes are not simply proportional, though they share the origin "0.")
If unlimited demand potential exists, a price will be adjusted only according to supply. It is why more supply is needed to get rid of inflation.
Now, the world has too much industrial production potential, leading to no inflation in this context.
Yet, the world might need more crude oil in near future, leading to inflation in this context.

As of the end of October 2009, Japan possesses U.S. Treasury bonds worth $746.5 billion while China accumulates $800 billion of the bonds.
If Japan and China dump these bonds, American Government has to buy back them at $1.5 trillion.
On the other hand, almost all of outstanding Japanese Government bonds are owned by domestic banks, corporations, investing institutions and individuals inside Japan.
China has mostly used dollars obtained by selling yuan in the exchange market as a capital to buy U.S. Treasury bonds. Apparently this risky situation of G2 (USA and China) deteriorates business minds of the international market.
If new economics is formulated for the era of G2 or G20, it will not work as usual, since the above risky situation cannot be understood by today's economists whose scope in history covers at most the post-WWII era.
What's more, economy only works sufficiently when it is based on trust of people. Wall Street and American economists have apparently lost trust of many righteous Americans and world citizens.
Finally, the War in Afghanistan never contributes to improvement of American economy and credit to the American Government. The direction in their politics is erroneously inverted.
Anyway, bye-bye, Last Monday of 2009! See you again, if I should not fall into the pits of hell!
(This is the third day from Christmas, though people start to forget the significance of the birth of the Son of God. Nonetheless, it is said that three scholars, ruling elders, or kings came from the east to Bethlehem so as to praise a new born baby called Jesus. Accordingly, the legend is sung today.

Mar 12:28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
Mar 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

GOOD CAPITALIZATION
Economics without Love to the Poor God Loves
Indeed, something critical may be coming around me, though I am not in a jet plane.
If I write how to earn big money in TSE or NYSE, it might become more critical.
But, I will not for other reason than the one you might come up with to your chagrin.

There is an interesting opinion about capitalism by a unique Armenian American scholar:
----------
Rousas John Rushdoony (25 April 1916 – 8 February 2001) was a Calvinist philosopher, historian, and theologian and is widely credited as the father of Christian Reconstructionism and an inspiration for the modern Christian homeschool movement.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rousas_John_Rushdoony
----------
He claims that wealth earned and accumulated through good work and good saving with a good mind is good, since Jesus Christ implies and suggests so.
This good wealth can turn to capitalization. Or capitalization is to use wealth earned and accumulated, as mentioned above, wisely and sophisticatedly.
However this capitalization can be degraded to inflation or socialism. Inflation is a result from everybody's turning into a thief or a robber, at least, in his mind. Socialism is a form of an organized crime of theft or robbery.
Especially in a socialist state, capital is depleted and a government tries to create capital through taxation. Accordingly, people will be poor and poorer as observed in the past USSR, China before 1980's, and North Korea of today.
Yet, more grave is that Americans have abandoned Christianity before capitalization turns into inflation or socialism. American people have come to pursue profits through consumption or lavish expenditure than through earning and accumulation of wealth.
American people have come to find more pleasure in pursuing profits through consumption or lavish expenditure than through a family life, faith, and enhancement of personality.
American freedom is freedom under the God.
But, this freedom now serves as an infrastructure for pursuing profits more through consumption or lavish expenditure than through a family life, faith, and enhancement of personality. To correct American capitalism, it is essential to restore true Christianity again in the American mind.
The economic problems the advanced American capitalism has brought about cannot be solved by applying any economics developed under American capitalism.
That is why you had better forget about everything American economics teaches. You had better read the Holy Book and EEE Reporter to find a right direction in holy economics. It is so, since most of American economists simply tell you to buy cheap and sell high to be rich. Economists should think about what honorable and respectable deeds a rich man, very rich man, or super rich man would do with big money: not making others as rich as he.
Mankind has to create human value as the God created the universe, the world, and humanity. Buying existent value, even if material value, cheap and selling it high cannot be creation of value.
What is worse, there is no ultimate goal, object, or purpose for American economics. Is it to lower an unemployment rate to zero? Is it to make every American to earn $100 per hour or more? Is it to produce 100,000 world richest persons in America? Is it to raise value of the dollar to 1,000 euro per dollar or 360 yen per dollar, ultimately?
It is as if American economists were teaching American billionaires, millionaires, middle-class citizens, and laborers how to run in a race for unspecified length or distance. Are people expected to run a 100-meter race or a marathon by those economists?
The only reasonable conclusion is that economists are irresponsible but clever only in making themselves rich by selling their economics as observed in the summer of 2008. Indeed, they were discussing 0.2 or 0.4% of an interest rate change as well as 50 dollars or 100 dollars of a crude oil price change.
Evil is truly in interest and needs for energy.

Now the last Sunday of 2009 is passing away in Japan.
The ship in the above picture is an old antarctic exploration ship of Japan. She was built in 1936 and ended its service in 1978. She once sank one submarine during WWII. Indeed, during 42 years of performing a commission, if you can destroy one enemy submarine and more icebergs, you have to be content.
And, while you are in honorable retirement, a new one will take a charge...
(It was just two days ago that Christmas started...
