Those Who Possess Nationality

I have nationality like Jesus Christ in ancient Israel under occupation by the Roman Empire.

However, Jesus Christ said to abandon everything to follow Him.

So, I have to abandon my nationality to follow Him.

Yet, there is a place where I am legally domiciled and registered, because every Japanese is requested so as the legal proof of his or her nationality.

It is said that, in Japan, this legal system started in the seventh century.


SECTION I: Class Mystery of Japan

Some people in the world, as they have come to know Japan more, think that something is strange.

There is no noble class in Japan, while Japan has the Emperor, the Empress, their royal children and grandchildren in addition to Imperial families of the Emperor's brother's, the Emperor's uncle's, and the Emperor's cousins'.

Except the Emperor, the Empress, the Prince Imperial, the Crown Princess, and the Princess, there are six imperial families. But there are no other privileged or titled noble-class families in Japan.

It is because after WWII the U.S. requested Japan to abolish the noble class and Imperial families except those directly associated with the Showa Emperor.

Accordingly, 11 imperial families (including 51 persons) were abolished in 1947. The Constitution enacted in 1947 does not stipulate anything about the noble class and imperial families. Only the Emperor is referred to in the Constitution of Japan.

That is why there are no dukes, counts, marquises, earls, viscounts, barons, and any body with a title of peerage in Japan, except those imperial family members who have survived the 1947 forced abolition of the 11 imperial families.

(Before the end of WWII, the noble class in the Empire of Japan mostly consisted of descendants of former high-ranking samurais and traditional noble-class members who lived in Kyoto till the Meiji Restoration of the Imperial Authority in 1867.)

Yet, a law stipulates that only a male member of the Imperial Families is authorized to be one of possible heirs to the Chrysanthemum Throne.

The Prince Imperial and the Crown Princess, as husband and wife, have only the Princess.

SECTION II: Future Emperors

It is expected that the Imperial crown will be taken in future by the Imperial Prince, the younger brother of the Imperial Prince, and then the prince of the younger brother of the Imperial Prince, as time goes by while other male members of the imperial families decease.

But, when the prince of the younger brother of the Imperial Prince wins the Imperial crown, there will be no other male members unless he marries to have his own prince(s).

If he should have only princesses, namely girls, as his children, nobody would be entitled to succeed to the Imperial Throne in half a century. The Emperor of Japan will be vacant decades later and forever, though it has been secured for 2600 years in terms of the myth of Japan and for 1700 years in terms of historical evidence supported by ancient Chinese history books.

The Japanese Constitution does not specify anything about who must succeed to the Imperial Throne. It is a matter of law. The law governing imperial succession must be changed. Some people claim so. They even want the Princess of the Imperial Prince to become Emperor of Japan after her father, namely the incumbent Imperial Prince. Even her child, regardless of a boy or a girl, must be allowed to win the future Imperial crown, some claim so.

This is called "the female Emperor issue" and "the female-line Emperor issue."



SECTION III: 11 Imperial Families Abolished by American Occupation

As the first step, it is reasonable to restore the 11 imperial families abolished by the U.S. while General Douglas MacArthur occupied Japan in 1947.

But the point at issue is that an emperor's father must be an emperor or a son of an emperor, or otherwise a son of a son of an emperor. An emperor can be a son of the father whose blood line can be traced back to an emperor through only the male line.

In this context there are some male members in the above 11 families that can claim their right to win the Imperial crown, since their male blood line can be directly traced back to a certain emperor who reigned 700 years ago. It is however not strange since the 11 families had lived as imperial families till 1947 for 700 years or so.

But, of course, there are many critics who reject this idea. They assert that it is absurd to have a new emperor whose direct link to a preceding emperor must be traced back for 700 years.



SECTION IV: Imperial Shintoism and Democratic Japan

There are some points to be reviewed:
1. It is a matter of a family who becomes the head of the family.

2. It is a matter of a religious clan who becomes the head of the religious clan.

3. The concept of human rights must apply to any Japanese living under the Japanese Constitution, including Imperial Families.

4. The Imperial House once partially adopted Buddhism. There still exist many notable Buddhism temples in Nara and Kyoto Prefectures once emperors or imperial families established hundreds years ago or more than 1300 years ago. Today, the Imperial Families are also under the Japanese Constitution formulated based on American Christian democracy after WWII.

5. Even the Vatican's authority consists in St. Peter who lived 2000 years ago. For religion, 2000 years or 700 years does not matter to authorize its power so long as the religion in question has been observed honestly for 2000 years or 700 years.

6. Dignity of Japan and the Japanese people must not be damaged in choosing a new emperor. A new emperor of Japan must be chosen in a manner that the world, including the Vatican, the U.S., China, and Korea, would respect Japan and the Japanese people all the more.

7. Japanese Shinto at large, the Imperial Shintoism, Japanese Buddhism, and any other religions in Japan must be studied in comparison with Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and Hinduism as well as other schools of Buddhism in the world, Confucianism, Taoism, etc. This must be the basics in dealing with Imperial succession, since it is not a simple political issue but also a high-level of religious issue.

Now, if you know any Japanese elite, ask him or her about his or her opinion about Imperial succession.

If he or she is reluctant to talk or think about it, say to him or her that it is not only a Japanese issue but an issue of the world history, since only Japan has the emperor now who can claim that he is directly associated with a god or gods unlike kings or queens somewhere on this earth.

Indeed, it is a long time ago that all the emperors had gone in classical Chinese empires and the Roman Empires, though the Samurai Empire of Japan disappeared in May 1947 when the Constitution of Japan was enacted.

According to the Japanese myth, the first Emperor Jinmu reigned between 660 BC and 585 BC.

The 16th Emperor Nintoku reigned 313–399, leaving a great tomb as large as that of the First Emperor of China or the Egyptian pyramid of Khufu.

Also note that if a daughter of an emperor, namely her father, won the Imperial crown, she would be also called "Ten-noh" which is translated as "emperor" in English.

An empress is mostly translated as "Ko-gou" in Japanese, meaning the wife of an emperor.

Therefore, if a daughter of an emperor won the Imperial crown, she is a female emperor but not an empress in the Japanese sense, since she is also the head of the Imperial Shintoism.

Yet, in English, the female head of an empire is called empress.

Indeed, it is impossible for a woman to become emperor in the Roman Empire and pope in the Vatican.


("Then-noh" in Japanese actually means the head of the Imperial House, who can be a woman. Ten-noh does not 100% correspond to the English word emperor. There are no concepts of masculine nouns and feminine nouns in the Japanese language.

In the Chinese history, one woman once became the head of a Chinese empire. However, most of Chinese historians do not call her an emperor but an empress, since she was also the wife of an emperor.

A Chinese emperor is called "Kou-tei" in Japanese as with emperors in other countries, though there are no emperors nowadays except in Japan. Conversely, no Japanese call any past foreign emperor "Ten-noh."

To show respect for the Emperor in person, you had better use the expression "Ten-noh Heika" [His Majesty the Emperor] or simply "Heika.")

Japanese shinto shrines are also associated with the Imperial House. Every shinto shrine has its own legendary. For example, a shrine is said to have been established in the era of the 5th Emperor Kosho. Other shrine claims that it was established by an ancestor of the First Emperor Jinmu, namely by a god.

The Grand Shrine of Ise, where the prime minister of Japan goes and worships in early January every year, is said to have been founded by a princess of the 10th Emperor Suijin.

Every shinto shrine is ranked in accordance with their association with the Imperial House. In 927, a list of shinto shrines in Japan was compiled, including 2,861 shrines. Even in this list, the Grand Shrine of Ise was classified into its own as the supreme shrine due to its association with the Imperial House.

However, there are some shrines whose history is respectfully longer than the Grand Shrine of Ise, though the Grand Shrine of Ise honors Amaterasu-omikami, a sun goddess who is the main ancestor among others of the First Emperor Jinmu, according to the Japanese myth.

So, for you to be an emperor, you need a religion and a myth of your own family's that can be traced back for 2000 years or so.

(Incidentally no past Chinese imperial houses had history of their own that could match the Japanese Imperial House. They were all short-lived. Even different races and tribes established an imperial house in China.)

Survival & History


Not all the older persons can write a textbook of history.

Most of soldiers turn to ordinary citizens who never write a book on the war they experienced.

But, if mankind had no custom to write history, even Jesus Christ, as a man, should have had no book to read and know Abraham, Moses, David, and Solomon in addition to Jonah and Daniel.



SECTION I: Unemployment Decides Presidential Case

Is it proven that American democracy works well?

American voters elected a new president from a different party each time they observed or sensed an increase in an unemployment rate?

Accordingly, Reagan, Mr. Bill Clinton, Mr. G. W. Bush, and Mr. Barack Obama were all assumed office of presidency riding on an upward change in the American unemployment rate.



Technical innovation in America also matched regime changes in the past.

In the Reagan ear, America accepted Japanese advancement in industrial technology so as to introduce various merits from Japan.

In the Clinton era, America found its merits in the computer software and the Internet domains. America worked out a strategy to suppress Japanese superiority in this field which was closely linked with the financial sector.

In the Bush era, America was faced with great challenges in the energy and financial sectors from existing and emerging players in the world. However, as America found that IT innovation remarkably helped China, India, and other developing countries advance their economy through business relationships with U.S. hi-tech industry and Wall Street, America worked out a new strategy to ride on this globalization trend.

In the Obama era, traditional, ordinary, and poor American people have come to realize that their living cannot be improved if GM and even BP are enjoying great support, explicitly or implicitly, from the U.S. Government. They seem to come to think that the green energy technology can better prevail under a Republican regime so as to increase employment, since some social reformation has been realized to some extent by the initiative of President Mr. Barack Obama.

As seen in China, American hegemony, American democracy, or American religion has not contributed to peace and prosperity of the world any more. American elites have stopped to praise themselves as heroes or aces to introduce American ideal to the old world. Everybody now knows that America cannot be respected and loved by Muslims who however envy American material success.

As a natural consequence, American voters lose interest in the world. They will just want to secure their jobs so as to enjoy their own American dreams. Accordingly, the unemployment rate will become all the more important factor for deciding who of what party will be elected as president.

And, like in 1930's, Americans might fail in understanding truth of China, as they did with Nazi Germany, and other rising nations such as Iran and Russia, as they did with the Empire of Japan.

Therefore, future presidents of America must have true agendas of their own in the world as much as they are responsible for domestic issues.


(Israel might even lose support from a majority of American people, though their religion may come close to modern Judaism. Yet, Judaist Americans would continue to be a major or the only interest group in the American diplomatic sector.)



SECTION II: Unemployment Induces New Japanese Personality



Former P.M. Mr. Yasuhiro Nakasone saw the start of the bubble economy in Japan in early 1980's. He said that land prices in Tokyo jumped up as IBM and other American businesses moved their offices for world operation to Tokyo. As an American partner in the Cold War, he got overwhelming support from Former President Ronald Reagan.

Former P.M. Noboru Takeshita could not win overwhelming support at all from the Japanese people, as he accepted American requests as announced as the Plaza Accord in 1985 and introduced the consumption tax system. Takeshita was also later accused of some illegal political fund raising like his old boss Former Prime Minister Kakuei Tanaka.

Former P.M. Mr. Morihiro Hosokawa initially got overwhelming support from the Japanese people and media, since he challenged the old fashioned LDP to launch a new cabinet with help from Mr. Ichiro Ozawa who spun out of the LDP, through a political battle against Takeshita. Mr. Ozawa and Takeshita had been followers of legendary Former Prime Minister Kakuei Tanaka who had competed in diplomacy for China with Former President Richard Nixon in early 1970's.

Former P.M. Mr. Junichiro Koizumi got overwhelming support from Japanese voters who were tired of a decade long recession after a burst of the bubble around 1990. The Japanese people thought that reformation of the government was needed so as to recover economy. Mr. Koizumi tied up with the then U.S. President Mr. George W. Bush to drive reformation of the Japanese postal service with an aim of privatizing the gigantic Postal Saving Bank. Mr. Koizumi's personality, rather than his economic policy, gained huge support from voters leading to a great victory in the 9-11-2005 general election.

Former P.M. Mr. Yukio Hatoyama initially got overwhelming support from Japanese voters who could not trust the LDP any more, since LDP Cabinets in the past could not honestly and correctly manage and supervise the pension fund scheme and system. Almost all the anti-American camps joined the DPJ to realize a regime change in the 30-8-2009 general election. However, it was widely known that it was Mr. Ichiro Ozawa that had superior power in the DPJ but not Mr. Hatoyama. Ironically, having been accused of illegal political fund raising, both resigned from party positions and the government before the 11-07-2010 Upper House election to relay the power to incumbent P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan.

Note that Mr. Hosokawa and Mr. Hatoyama once belonged to the pro-American LDP like Mr. Ozawa. Only, Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan has a real socialistic background without joining the LDP in his 30-year-long career as a national law maker or a Diet member of Japan.

So, since the end of WWII, Japan and the U.S. have for the first time this unique combination: the socialistic premier vs. the African-American president.

And history simply tells that so many rich men have died after living a rich life of their own, since they chose to be rich rather than to be a hero before the God.

They must have said to younger people, "If you get older as I am, you will know living a rich life is more important than anything or, specifically, than being a hero of any sort."

Truth is that Jesus Christ had said to ancestors of those rich people to give all the money they had to the poor and follow Him.

"If you get pious as I am, you will know living a rich life is so anti-Christ," must say every Christian.

Pain of Separation and Relief by Truth


North Korean secret agents once landed on Japanese coasts on the Sea of Japan, mostly, to abduct Japanese citizens. They crossed the Sea of Japan by spy ships in which abducted Japanese were forcibly taken.

However, through a complicated process, Former Prime Minister Mr. Junichiro Koizumi could take back several of them through negotiations in person with Mr. Kim Jong-il several years ago.

There are 40,000 de-facto North Korean residents in Japan who belong to a special, political organization, as they came to Japan before the end of WWII or they are descendants of such North Koreans. Most of them have relatives in North Korea, so that they sometimes visit their mother country.

It might be better to exchange Japanese citizens abducted and kept in North Korea with those North Korean residents in Japan, though the latter are freely living in the Japanese society with some political restriction. (They might be however treated very badly by the North Korean Government, if they return to their home country permanently, since they have enjoyed freedom so much in Japan.)




SECTION I: U.S. Midterm Election vs. Unemployment Rate

When an unemployment rate increases, the Republican Party gets more votes in the election for U.S. senators, according to the following data of the 21st century (unit: %).



If business leaders and the Congress cannot cooperate, American voters must think, economy cannot be improved and thus businesses cannot hire more workers.

In order to achieve this cooperation needed for improving the employment situation, American voters must think, Republican senators are more suitable than Democratic senators.

As for the the presidential election, it is also discussed that "not only will the level of the unemployment rate be a major factor; so, too, will its trend."

According to my observation, when an unemployment rate increased more significantly than expected, American voters chose a different party than the one in power in a presidential election.

Or, when American voters sense that an unemployment rate would soon increase significantly than expected, they opt to choose a different party than the one in power in a presidential election.

President Mr. Barack Obama and the Democratic Party have carried out great reformation in the fields of health insurance and financial sector regulation.

But, as an unemployment rate is still so high around 10% or more in reality, American voters must think toward the 2012 presidential election that it is time to have the Republican party take charge of managing economy and business situations.

(In 1990's, the IT industry spurred economic activities in the U.S, even decreasing the number of street gangs in New York. However, in 2010's, it is still unknown if the green energy industry can improve the state of the labor market so drastically. So long as super rich people support a higher level of competition domestically and globally to secure their position, the pressure of personnel downsizing will continue to work in the American market.)

As for relationship with Japan and China, the U.S. Government will intensify cooperation with Japan after the 2012 presidential election, since China will become more difficult for America alone to deal with. Even China might already experience a huge burst of the bubble before the 2012 U.S. presidential election.

Therefore, Japan has to prepare toward the 2012 U.S. presidential election a government that can handle this historical trend in diplomacy involving Japan, the U.S., and China.

It means that the next general election to be held in Japan till the summer of 2012 has to result in a higher-level of change or a change of higher quality unlike the one we have seen after the 30-8-2009 Lower-House election.

However, I don't think the Koizumi-Bush era will be reincarnated.





SECTION II: Miracle on Sunday: Iridescent Clouds

Last Sunday, namely on July 18, I visited a Pacific coast some 44 miles south-west of Tokyo. I passed Tokyo business districts and the Yokohama area to reach the shore by train, taking about 2 hours.

Around the noon of the day, a miracle occurred in the sky over Yokohama City. Truly, iridescent clouds appeared. A subscriber of The Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper observed them, taking them into a picture.

Indeed, the clouds look like a rainbow. I have never seen such vibrant iridescent clouds before, though this time I could only see them in the picture of the newspaper, for I was in a station around the noon of the Sunday.

In the late 13th century or 720 years ago, great Buddhist monk Ippen and his followers observed iridescent clouds. As Ippen was a moribund patient at the time, his followers so inspired said, "Holy Amitabha Buddha has finally come to show respect for holy Ippen-sama!"

But, great Ippen said, "If holy Amitabha Buddha has come, he has come to save the world. Then, I will not die for some time. Anyway, when I die, nothing special will happen, which I deserve since I am just a monk."

As I wrote yesterday, if the cooling power and warming power on the earth have each 100,000 units of power, the current level of effect of CO2 must have only 1 unit power.

But, an incident that may happen in a probability of 1/100,000 can fatally affect life of anybody. For instance, a grave car accident is said to happen in such a probability.

So, if resultant warming power rises to 100,001 while cooling power is still 100,000, the earth will surely get warmer, breaking the balance.

Moreover, structure of the cooling or warming power itself can be very unstable. If its structure is disturbed, the balance ratio can become 100,000 vs. 99,999, leading to global cooling or warming without any other factor, such as CO2, added from the outside of the nature.

And, this structure of the cooling or warming power itself is not well understood by mankind yet. Why a glacial age appears is still a mystery for mankind.

So, just one percent increase in a tax rate can be fatal.

Indeed, destruction of one undersea excavation platform among 4,000 facilities can be fatal.

However Japan is not John. Japan is special and exceptional. And, I like the sound of "the Japan's glory."

SECTION II: Yearly Change of Temperature against the Norm

The change in the global temperature on the ground has not increased linearly or simply proportionally with a simple increase of energy consumed by mankind and a simple increase of CO2 released to the air from the industry and households.

You can see roughly three periods of time in the above figure. They may be explained in the following manner:

1. 1880-1940: With development of industry in Europe, North America, and Japan, the temperature was steadily rising, for energy and CO2 were released to the environment.

2. 1940-1980: Despite with further development of industry in Europe, North America, and Japan, the temperature did not rise at all, while more energy and CO2 were released to the environment.

3. 1980-2010: With multiplied development of industry in Europe, North America, Japan, China, and other areas, the temperature has been rising again, as much more energy and CO2 have been released to the environment

But, it is apparent that the temperature rise is not simply following an increase in amount of energy consumed and CO2 released by mankind.

You cannot trust the global warming theory relying only on the CO2 effect. It cannot be so simple, as the above two figures indicated.



SECTION III: Climate Seesaw Balanced at Very High Level

The key to understanding the above presented question is as follows. I call it "the Theory of the Climate Seesaw Balanced at a Very High Level."



Mankind's Interference with the nature and the global climate has only a very small influence even with that huge increase of consumption of primary energy and discharge of CO2.

But, it can be sometimes enough to break the balance between the cooling force and the warming force on the earth. Each natural force must have, for example, 100 units of power. Mankind's energy and CO2 release to the air must have, for instance, 0.001 units of power. But, it must be large enough to topple the seesaw.

According to this hypothesis, each of the above periods in the history can be explained as below:

1. 1880-1940: When "Up Force" gets 100.001 while "Down Force" is 100.000, the seesaw would be surely raised on the upside.

2. 1940-1980: When "Down Force" becomes also 100.001 with a small addition from the nature, the seesaw would be again balanced at a higher level.

3. 1980-2010: When "Up Force" again increases to 100.002 while "Down Force" is 100.001, the seesaw would be surely raised on the upside, more clearly.

You may call this hypothesis "the EEE-Theory of the Climate Seesaw Balanced at a Very High Level."


(Note that if there is no cooling power on the earth, the earth would be hotter and hotter due to the CO2 effect.

Conversely, as the cooling power is so strong, the CO2 effect cannot work proportionally to its increase in the air.

Mathematically, 0 = 1 - 1 = 100 - 100. "1-1" means a low level of balance; "100-100" means a high level of balance.)

How Unique Is Japan?

Compared with Japan, the U.S. and China are just two commonplace nations that belong to one category with the rest of the world.

However, experts and elites of the U.S. and China have leveraged their knowledge and understanding of this uniqueness of Japan to succeed in their trade.

For example, Japan is the second largest and advanced economy in the world, but is the only nation that has an emperor with supreme official authority backed by its constitution.




SECTION I: GDP & Population vs. Land Area

As I once mentioned, the major factor for Japan's lost decade and the 20-year long deflation is that Japanese GDP and population already grew to the limit its nature and land could bear in early 1990's.

GDP multiplied by a population density of a nation can be a clear measure to see it. If GDP is doubled, a stress onto the nature is doubled. If population is doubled, a stress on the nature is doubled. The nature can be here represented by the land size.

As you see, to reach Japan's level, Germany and China can still grow their GDP or population more than twice, respectively.

To reach Japan's level, the U.K. and the U.S. can still grow their GDP or population more than three times, respectively.

Put extremely, Japan was already at the brink of the total destruction of its nature and land when a bubble economy occurred before 1990, since plain fields account only 30% of the national land. (For example, small Japanese rice fish [Medaka in Japanese] became a dying breed, while the fish had been so common in brooks and rivers in Japan as to be a pronoun of a common thing.) All through 1990's, Japan also faced a spiritual crisis since the mental health of the people is closely linked with the nature and land.

However, living of the people and activities of the industry have to continue. Japanese people must go out to the world. Globalization is not necessary a negative factor for Japan.

And, there existed China, Korea, and Taiwan, so close to Japan. Therefore, instead of increasing GDP and population in its territory, Japan let China, Korea, and Taiwan increase their GDP and population, so that Japanese businesses could also expand its room for growth and Japanese people could still live in comfortable environment.

This is the historical interpretation of Japan's lost decade and the 20-year long deflation, which shall be so explained in the textbook used in the 22nd century.




SECTION II: One Pyramid or 10,000 Houses in Haiti

Let's suppose that that only one man in Haiti has money. He is super rich with $50 billion at hand for himself.

If he spent $50 billion to build a huge pyramid for himself, Haiti's GDP will be $50 billion without multiple effect taken into consideration.

Finally a huge pyramid will emerge in Haiti but the nature of the country would not be severely damaged.

Then, let's suppose that that only 10,000 man in Haiti have money. They totally have $50 billion at hand for themselves.

If each of them spent $5 million to build a mansion house for himself, Haiti's GDP will be $50 billion without multiple effect taken into consideration.

Finally 10,000 mansion houses will emerge in Haiti, and the nature of the country would be severely damaged, since we may suppose that the plane area of the huge pyramid is equal to that of one mansion though the pyramid is far higher.

Note that all the materials, goods, services, and human activities produced in Haiti based on $50 billion credit of Haiti's GDP would all flow through the huge pyramid at one time or each mansion house in sequence, being used but not destroyed, while damaging their environments.

In the former case, the stress the whole land has to bear is $50 billion x 1 man - 50 billion dollars-men in an extreme case.

In the latter case, the stress the whole land has to bear is $50 billion x 10,000 men - 500 trillion dollars-men in an extreme case.

Therefore, "GDP x Population / Area" can be an effective concept for estimating the maximum burden the national land has to bear, even if its possibility is very small while an expected value is extremely large.


(That may be why ancient Egypt survived but the Mesopotamia Civilization had gone.

Also, an effect of increased randomness or entropy must be taken into consideration in a global temperature rise.)

I was sitting on a bench facing a holy pond in a holy park at dusk yesterday.

I thought a miracle should happen. Then, lo, a red carp jumped up from the water. I have sometimes visited the park in these years, but it was the first time that I observed a big red carp, 50 meters far, jumping to the air and falling down with a big splashing sound.

I was walking on a commercial avenue nearby this evening.

I thought a miracle should happen. Then, lo, a pink red sunset prevailed over the western sky covered by some large but thin clouds through which a jet plane flying high could be even spotted. Then I realized that a huge column of a kind of cumulonimbus blocked and split the sun ray creating a huge oblong shadow in the sky. It was the first time that I observed such a huge split of the sun ray in my town.

These are recent miracles I have encountered.

By the way, do you know that there are many poor citizens in Paris who glean? They collect remnants of a periodic market held on the street of Paris twice or so a week. Like those poor farmers depicted in "The Gleaners" by Millet, those poor citizens glean remnants, when a market is closed and merchants leave unsold foods and so on for public sanitation vehicles.

Cause-Effect Relationship plus Feedback System


Even in the story of Jesus Christ, the cause-effect relationship can be clearly observed.

For example, He said that a righteous man is not so much respected in his home town.

He was almost killed in His home town for Himself.

Hence, there are no legacies or relics having been left and excavated in His home town over 2000 years.

Anybody from Nazareth even today is not allowed to enjoy a privileged status only because he or she is from Nazareth. I may extend this agenda later.



SECTION I: After the Election

Of course, there is no unrest in the Japanese society, though the DPJ that achieved a historical change in the Japanese politics last August has been defeated this July. The DPJ got 308 seats among the total 480 Lower House seats last summer, but only 44 seats among contested 121 Upper House Seats this summer (the LDP has won 51 and the Your Party 10).

Yet, according to the latest surveys, those who support the DPJ led by P.M. Mr. Kan are still 5% to 10% more than those who support the former ruling LDP. Roughly speaking, 30% of the Japanese support the ruling, pro-Chinese/Korean DPJ, 25% the conservative, pro-American LDP, and 15% conservative Minna-no-To (the Your Party), a spin-out from the LDP.

As for a question about who should be Japan's prime minister, Mr. Naoto Kan is still ranked No.1; head of the Your Party Mr. Yoshimi Watanabe is No2; and ex-LDP Upper House lawmaker Mr. Yoichi Masuzoe No.3 though his party Shinto Kaikaku (New Party of Reform) won only one seat in the 11-07-2010 election.

(Now, the DPJ camp has 110 seats among the total 242 Upper-House seats, but 7 seats short of a powerful 2/3 majority in the Lower House, meaning the ruling parties cannot override rejection of a bill in the Upper House by exercising an overriding power in the Lower House. Accordingly, no law proposed by the Kan Cabinet can be passed by the National Diet unless it is a bill of budget.)

In summary, the DPJ and P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan are still expected to lead Japan for some time by a majority of the Japanese. Yet, non-affiliated voters are split evenly in their support for the DPJ, the LDP, and the Your Party.

But, the point at issue is that the DPJ is the first socialistic party that has won power through election as a leading ruling party with real hegemony since 1950's in Japan. And, though socialists are in a powerless minority in the Japanese society, a majority of the Japanese are now feeling like entrusting the government to the DPJ and Mr. Naoto Kan, probably till next spring when a 2011 budget bill is passed, since the LDP could not manage honestly the pension fund system for decades.



SECTION II: Lawmaker Mr. Taro Kono

Japanese LDP lawmaker Mr. Taro Kono recently attended an international conference. He made some speach in English at Conference on Poverty Alleviation of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP): "Japan is the second largest financial contributor to the U.N. But, the U.N. has not given to Japan a status of a permanent member of the Security Council. Japan is going to decrease an amount of its financial aid to the world in a form of official development assistance. You should rather impose a tax on international exchange transactions. A tax rate of 1% will result in creating a huge resource enough to help poor countries and their development."

Japan's Lower-House lawmaker Mr. Kono thinks that if contents of your speech in an international conference has a true impact on attendants and representatives from the world, they will never say after your speech that your English is excellent. If they find merit in your speech, they will come after your speech to ask for your business card.

There are two theories as to why the atmospheric temperature of the planet Venus was so high as to be 500 degrees C while it is 15 degrees C on the earth.

One theory is that it is the CO2 effect that makes Venus so hot.

Another is that it is a higher density of the air that makes Venus so hot.

Venus has 90 times higher density of the air than the earth. And, CO2 accounts for 96% of the air of Venus.

However, the change of temperature along with altitude in Venus indicates that higher temperature of the planet is mainly due to its higher density of the air, rather than due to the CO2 effect.

Though the earth had almost the same amount of CO2 at the beginning of its history, it was mostly absorbed by the sea and then by living things. As Venus lost the sea in the early stage, its CO2 was discharged to the air. It is unknown if an initial CO2 effect had caused an initial temperature rise, leading the loss of the sea in Venus and then the subsequent CO2 increase. Yet, the current higher temperature of Venus is more likely due to a higher density of the air rather than the CO2 effect.

On the earth, El Nono-Southern Oscillation or ENSO is one factor for an increase of CO2. The sea area under the ENSO effect releases more CO2 due to higher sea temperature.
