"A Testimony unto Them"

(In a Tokyo Skyscraper...)

Celebrities

Before September 2001, the U.S. followed by the U.K. launched a money war against Japan while Japan was the largest purchaser of U.S. Treasury bonds.

Then, Princess Diana died mysteriously in 1997; President Mr. Bill Clinton was impeached for his immoral acts by the U.S. House of Representatives in 1998; and then JFK Jr. died mysteriously in 1999.

Who are then blessed so much as Japan, since a great earthquake happened in south China taking 80,000 lives in 2008, the year when China became the largest U.S. Treasury-bond holder?

SECTION I: Mr. Clinton in North Korea

If Japan's Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso could visit Pyongyang and take back any of some hundred Japanese abducted by North Korea in these decades, his Cabinet might be able to survive through the coming general election.

Yet, if former U.S. President Mr. Bill Clinton should leave the capital of North Korea without taking back the two detained American journalists, Ms. Laura Ling and Ms. Euna Lee, the Obama Administration might lose some international credibility.

So, it might be a time for former Prime Minister Mr. Junichiro Koizumi to re-visit North Korea for a future diplomatic relationship between Japan and North Korea.

SECTION II: No.1 Economist Taken into Prison

Economist Mr. Uekusa's blog has been ranked No. 1 in these days in the Japanese political blog domain, though he was taken into prison while he and his supporters claim that he is innocent and not-guilty.

Mr. Uekusa has been one of the most prominent economists in Japan, having graduated from University of Tokyo, worked in the Kyoto University as assistant professor and in Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. as senior researcher, and then in the Waseda University as professor.

He also made many TV appearances. He has had a strong tie with some politicians who have been fighting against former Prime Minister Mr. Junichiro Koizumi and the ruling party LDP.

But, a Japanese court sentenced Mr. Uekusa, a possible kind of Mr. Paul Krugman, to four-month detention in prison for his immoral act, which the Supreme Court has supported.

Mr. Shizuka Kamei and Mr. Ichiro Ozawa must have protected him, since Mr. Uekusa has been a kind of allies to the two notable, veteran opposition leaders who have been fighting against Mr. Junichiro Koizumi and the LDP in this decade.

What I want to ask is what Mr. Shizuka Kamei and Mr. Ichiro Ozawa, having a strong influence on next Prime Minister hopeful Mr. Yukio Hatoyama of the DPJ, can do to protect their friends if they ever should win the coming general election taking over power from the LDP and Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso, while they cannot save Mr. Uekusa, an allegedly innocent inmate now somewhere in Japan.

(Nonetheless, when Mr. Uekusa claimed last summer that the largest issue FRB was tackling was inflation, EEE Reporter pointed out the possible Wall Street disaster due to an uncontrollable increase of risky, virtual money that is not based on American real assets any more...)

SECTION III: EEE Reporter

▼ EE(E)-Reporter himself is not a celebrity at all in Japan.

▼ You do not have to envy him at all, if you have two pairs of business shoes.

▲ Yet, it is true that all the postings in the EEE Reporter blog have been made by himself alone since May 2005.

(Il s'agit d'août, mais pas Juillet, ma princesse, si quelque chose est plus importante. Anyway a crime but not a mistake occurs when one forgets the God. Yet a selfless act prevents it.

Mat 8:2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

Mat 8:3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Mat 8:4 And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
