Memory of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis
The mother of the wife of President John F. Kennedy was not a simple figure.
Janet Norton Lee (December 3, 1907 – July 22, 1989) was an American socialite. She was the mother of former United States First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Lee Radziwill. She often stood in for her daughter Jacqueline as hostess for official White House functions. She was the mother-in-law of United States President John F. Kennedy.
Lee was married three times. Her first husband was John Vernou "Black Jack" Bouvier III. They were married on July 7, 1928, and had two daughters: Jacqueline Lee "Jackie" Bouvier (July 28, 1929 — May 19, 1994) and Caroline Lee Bouvier (born March 3, 1933). Bouvier's womanizing and drinking led to a separation in 1936, a brief reconciliation for a few months in 1937, and then a divorce in 1940.
Lee's second husband was Hugh Dudley Auchincloss, Jr., an attorney and Standard Oil heir; she was his third wife. They were married on June 21, 1942,[5] and had two children: Janet Jennings Auchincloss (1945—1985) and James Lee Auchincloss, born in 1947.[6]Hugh Dudley Auchincloss was a relative of the Vanderbilt family who controlled the US railroad sector as .a sworn friend of Morgan. Auchincloss was also related to the owner of Tiffany & Co. by marriage.

When JFK was a US Senator, he and his wife Jacqueline were invited to a party held in a luxury ship owned by Aristotle Socrates Onassis. Greek maritime-trade tycoon Onassis introduced the couple to Sir Winston Churchill.
The background was that Rockefeller was at the time competing with Onassis over hegemony over ocean transport of crude oil. So, Rockefeller sent Senator JFK to Greece to persuade the father of the then wife of Onassis to help Rockefeller's business, since this old Greek gained control of the Greek marine transportation while his son-in-law Onassis was at odds with Rockefeller and even at Churchill.
After JFK assumed office of US Presidency, King of Saudi Arabia Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, a friend of Onassis, was forced to step down by his younger brother Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Under the new king, Sheikh Ahmed Zaki Yamani took office of Minister of Oil (Petroleum) and Mineral Resources while joining Rockefeller's ARAMCO as a director.

And finally in 1968 Jacqueline Lee (Bouvier) Kennedy married Onassis, since JFK was assassinated in 1963.
So, it might not be so weird to think that there was a shadow of Rockefeller behind the tragedy of JFK. It is so, since Rockefeller and Onassis seem to have secured their interest over the death of JFK.
