"all men come to him" - God is More Important than Any Individuals

Tokyo

God is More Important than Any Individuals

One of key teachings of Christ Jesus is denial of old human relationships in society.

He ordered people to leave their family, their occupation, their social status and follow Him.  However, it does not necessary mean to leave the society or the nation one lives in.  It means to stop belonging to any authority that is not holy.

But men get happiness in their homes, earn money through their occupation, and identify themselves with status they have in their countries.  So, to follow the teaching of Christ Jesus, men have to abandon happiness, wealth, and social status they are enjoying in this world.

In other word, under worldly authority, men can work with pride or a sense of significance, earn money to buy goods and services they want, and enjoy their status.  The order of the world assures them of living rich lives if they accept the worldly authority and win competition.

However, according to Christ Jesus, this authority is false.  This worldly authority is not from God.  Anything obtained by following the worldly order must be therefore abandoned.

The main criterion for man's judgement in his living is how much he can get profit.  But Christ Jesus taught that the criterion must be how much man's judgment satisfy God.

Put simply, God is more important than any individuals.  Men are allowed to live only to serve God.  Or, to have mankind serve God, God created this universe and gave higher spirit to mankind.

In this context, a man's life is for God.  Though a man was born to live and die, there is nothing meaningful in his life for himself or others, because it is God who can give meaning to a man's life.  A life of a man has essentially no meaning for himself or other people.  It has only true and real meaning for God.  (That is why literary works that depict this meaninglessness are highly praised.)

But If a man took it wrong, he might fall into nihilism.  Or he will be lost even by himself if he cannot believe and love God.

True humanitarianism has to be rooted in the teaching of Christ Jesus.  As God created every man, men have to respect one another.  A man must not kill another man God created.

Essentially, as long as men do not admit that they belong to God and they should obey God, no problems in this world will be solved.  Because, if a man does not believe in God, he is the last authority for himself ultimately. So, whatever he desires he would try to achieve by sacrificing others.  In this Godless world, there cannot be true peace.

Christians have to live for God, and Muslims have to live for Allah.  Then, peace will be realized in the world.

Any human efforts toward the global peace is useless if they are not corroborated by their faith in God.

Joh 3:25 Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.
Joh 3:26 And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.
Joh 3:27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.
