"Fear not, Zacharias" - A Saint on the Cross

Tokyo

A Saint on the Cross

It is interesting that Christians have used a special sign, figure, or symbol for more than 1400 years in a period almost similar to that of deployment of Islam.
However, the cross symbol was already associated with Christians in the 2nd century...
The crucifix, a cross upon which an image of Christ is present, is not known to have been used until the 6th century AD.

It could be accepted to use the cross sign as a symbol of Christianity as the death of Christ Jesus on the cross was the critical element for the religion.  However, from the common sense, it cannot be accepted as a symbol of a religion to present a suffering saint on the cross.  Use of such a symbol for a religion should raise a doubt whether the religion is supported by sane people.

As Christian churches started to use the image of Christ Jesus on the cross in the 6th century, God felt discomfort, and thus He gave Islam to Arabs and others, in my view, in the 7th century.
