Traveling Germany in 1938 to 1939

Soseki Natsume (1867-1916) is the greatest author in Japan.  He contributed to foundation of standards of modern written Japanese  that is completely different from literature of the samurai era that ended in the next year Soseki was born.

He is still one of the most popular and loved authors even today.

He had one female follower who also became a novelist.

Yaeko Nogami (1885 - 1985) was the pen-name of a novelist in Shōwa period Japan.


Nogami was born in Usuki in Oita prefecture as the daughter of a wealthy sake brewer. She was taught at home by private tutors, including Kubo Kaizo, who introduced her to classic Chinese literature, classic Japanese literature and taught her the art of writingtanka poetry. She met the novelist Kinoshita Naoe, who persuaded her to enter the Meiji-Jogakkō, a Christian-orientated girls’ school in Tokyo. While a student in Tokyo, she metNogami Toyoichirō, a student of Noh drama and English literature under Natsume Sōseki. They were married in 1906, but she continued to work towards literary recognition. Her first published work was a short story Enishi ("Ties of Love") in the literary magazine Hototogisu in 1907. 

In the 1910s, Nogami submitted poems and short stories to the mainstream literary journal Chuo Koron, Shincho, and to the feminist magazine Seito, and gained a substantial following with fans of the proletarian literature movement. She maintained a correspondence with fellow female writers Yuasa Yoshiko and Miyamoto Yuriko, with whom she shared the sentiment that literature must serve a purpose towards increasing morality and social activism. 

As the Japanese government turned increasingly toward totalitarianism and it appeared that war was inevitable, she and her husband traveled to Europe where they witnessed the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War and ominous signs that would lead up to World War II. They returned to Japan prior to the outbreak of WWII, and she concentrated on her writing.

Yaeko Nogami's husband was assigned to teach and study in the UK as an exchangee in 1938 when WWII was about to outbreak.  Yaeko followed her husband to travel to Europe.  One of her sons was at the time in Europe: a literature teacher in an Italian university (he later became an Italian literature professor in the University of Kyoto).  The couple sailed from Japan on October through Hon Kong, Sri Lanka, and Egypt to Italy and Europe.  They also traveled France, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Spain, and England.

Then WWII started.  They were forced to return to Japan across the Atlantic Ocean and the United States.  She dropped by Hawaii that had not been attacked by the Japanese Imperial Navy.

Her report of the journey was published in Japan after WWII.  Even today the book is highly appreciated as a record of Europe observed by a Japanese woman (at the time she was in her early 50s) immediately before WWII.

She saw reality of European colonial rule in Asia till she reached Egypt while sailing through South Asia.  Asians were poor and suppressed by arrogant Europeans.  But, in Egypt the scale of the pyramids overwhelmed her.

She most loved Rome.  She wrote many about her observation of Rome.

But what impressed me is the following: Yaeko Nogami visited Munich immediately after a big Nazi conference.  She saw many Hakenkreuz flags on the streets.  She saw Nazi's memorial facilities guarded by a machine-like soldiers.  But she didn't mention any shadows of the Holocaust.

What impressed her was color.  She realized that Germans like black and red.  She was also strongly impressed by difference between France and Germany.  In Germany she couldn't enjoy delicious foods.  But in Paris she saw a female vendor in a humble shed-like shop taking a delicious meal with wine, meat, and other dishes.  But in Germany, even town people were taking humble foods, which so looked to her, a kind of elite Japanese woman.

In a train running between France and Germany. she met an American engineer working in Germany.  She asked him whether German villagers were poor or rich.  The American answered that they were neither rich nor poor.  She wanted to ask his opinion about the coming war in Europe but she refrained as other people were in the train.

In Spain she was shocked to see war-torn streets still so vivid after the Spanish Civil War.  But she praised a Spanish young girl who had a good sense on clothes, as she tried to lean about Japanese kimono.  Yaeko Nogami was also highly impressed to see a great raised aqueduct in a Spanish city, which was built in the era of the Roman Empire but was still used.  She compared the structure to the pyramids of Egypt.

In London, she saw every woman walking with a dog.  It is also interesting that in London and Paris she saw no sense of the imminent crisis of the coming horrible WWII.

However, more important is that the Japanese female author with experienced observing faculty could not realize that something horrible was going on with Juadaists in Germany.  The shadow of the Holocaust was completely hidden from her.  Even a well educated Japanese traveling in Germany couldn't realize Nazi's hideous attacks on Judaists, so that it is natural that no Japanese in Japan at the time even dreamed of the occurrence of the large-scale persecution of European Judaists.  Behind the German color of black and red, unthinkable atrocity was going on.


In New York, she felt a kind of fear of the night in the city.  Subway trains looked dangerous at night.  Cab drivers looked so violent.  Even pretty women in New York looked mean. But she drove to the suburbs in Boston with her Japanese friend in America to see remnants of a cottage Henry David Thoreau once lived in woods.  His book had moved her when she read it when she was young in Japan.

Finally she dropped by Hawaii on her way from California to Japan.

Yaeko Nogami heard a story of one daughter of Japanese immigrants to Hawaii.  The daughter was truly American in a sharp contrast to a Japanese girl who came to Hawaii as her father, a manager of a Japanese bank, had been transferred to Hawaii.  The second-generation immigrant girl could not understand a class-oriented superiority the Japanese girl was enjoying.

Then she returned to Tokyo on November 1939.

One year and one month journey around the world of Yaeko Nogami immediately before WWII was so interesting.  She herself realized that her report of the journey would be valuable to her contemporaries and later generations.  But what she didn't write was so significant: she didn't observe Judaists in Germany while she could not realize true meaning of the fact.

When the universe or space was created from vacuum energy about 13.7 billion years ago, there must have been no energy in forms we know today.

Probably, at the beginning no energy took a form expressed with the inverse of square of distance, 1/(r x r).  For example, each of gravity and electromagnetic force works inversely proportional to square of distance.  Their range of activity is expressed with a sphere.  But on the sectional plane it is a circle.  But, without such force, the space doesn't have to be divided into spheres, or a plane doesn't have to be divided into circles.  The original space must be divided into squares.

An area of a square is obtained as A = R x R where R is a side length of an elementary square, many of which must have filled the plane of the original universe.

But as time went by, though in a moment of some minus 30th power of 10 of a second, the above mentioned types of physical force were generated some 13.7 billion years ago.  Then the original space probably came to be divided into spheres, or the plane into circles, as its meta-structure.

An are of a circle is obtained as A = pi x R x R.  Here "pi" was generated.

So, pi symbolizes meta-power that generated gravity, electromagnetic force, and other similar physical force from original energy.  With this meta-power, the sectional plane of the universe came to accommodate such physical force.

Pi is more a symbol of the past mode-conversion of the plane from square-divided to circle-divided in the original universe than the ratio of a circumferential length over a diameter.

Therefore, pi can be obtained from the following formula:
(pi) x (pi) = 6 x { ( 1x 1) + (1/2 x 1/2) + (1/3 x 1/3) + (1/4 x 1/4) + ...(1/r x 1/r)...}

The left hand side means an area of a circle with a radius of a square root of pi.

The right hand side stands for an infinite sum of squares, each of which has a side length of a reverse of an integer, with the coefficient 6.

An infinite number of small squares, each with a radius of a reciprocal of an integer, got together to form a circle with a radius of a square root of pi.

And then, elements of the space of the original universe came to consist of circles and spheres where the said physical force can work with its effective range indicated by a reverse of a square of a distance (R).

 Force = Q/(R x R)

Q: a coefficient for gravity, electromagnetic force, etc.


For this reason, pi is the overwhelmingly major component of any mathematical or physical formula we can discover in this universe today.  Spheres and circles are just embodiment of power of pi.

The Most Important Question for Mankind

Suppose that God created human beings, though through a very long process since the Big Bang of the universe, yet why must He have created human beings?

This is the most significant question for mankind as the sole representative of all the creatures so far.  Especially, when we observe the world, we cannot help but admit that the human world is occupied by Satan rather than a great angel of God.  If the God could foresee that Satan would capture most of human souls, why did God have to create human beings?

It is also a big surprise that there is no embedded spiritual mechanism in any human being that would inevitably make him follow the word of God.  He is given liberty and freedom to follow Satan and evil ways of life.

What is strange is the fact that God sent His Son to the human world to save them all.  Didn't God foresee that mankind would betray Him someday when He decided to create human souls?

The only answer or clue we have is in teachings of Christ Jesus: God is love.  Before He created mankind, did He love them?  It is very strange, but God is almighty.  He must be able to love what is not yet to exist.  It means that God knew before creating this universe that mankind would follow Satan, who would tempt mankind with money; nonetheless God opted to create the universe and mankind.  God has been giving life to every human being most of whom should betray Him following Satan.  

So, this question, "God, why did you create human beings?," is the most difficult one, since we may not be able to understand whatever answer we may be given.

But God also gives death to human beings in addition to life.  We are not immortal angels.  We were born, live, and die.  But God exists forever, even if Satan cannot.  Indeed, the answer might be given when we complete this cycle from birth to death.

Anyway, though Christ Jesus suggested that God created mankind because He loved them, Christ Jesus just requested us to love God.  All we have to believe is that God loves us, so that He gave us life with a request for us to love God in return.  But why does He need our love?

The most important question is yet to be fully comprehended.  


By the way, if God is the infinite and we are integers, there are two extreme ways to gain access to God:

Method No.1: 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7............ => Infinite

Method No.2: 1 + 1/2 + 1/3 + 1/4 + 1/5 + 1/6 + 1/7......=> Infinite

But is there any difference in access speed between them, if addition is made once per second?

The answer is that both the methods do not realize the infinite forever, so that this question is meaningless.  But, it is meaningful to continue addition toward the Infinite.  A decision to continue addition forever may be appreciated by the Infinite.

In this paragraph, Israel can be read as Europeans.  Then you can understand what Marx wanted to say or what he realized.

Indeed, an excellent anarchist wrote on Marx, alleging that Marx was not a friend of poor men but a friend of super-rich men.

No Judaists have been taught to hate money but love God.  Marx hated others' money but loved his money.

Marx probably wanted to make others poor but make himself rich.  He happened to be born as a Judaist, which was not so advantageous in European society.  Due to his religion, he could not be easily rich.  But there were many rich and super-rich Judaists, such as Rothschilds.  So, Marx did not give up his hope to become rich.  And all he could do is to write something.

Accordingly, Marx had to attack, abuse, and neglect other Judaists in his writing.  He must have written his books to appeal to rich Europeans who could understand and help him.  Marx demonstrated that he loved money and he wanted to be rich, while presenting his talent in economics with a wish that some super-rich men would come to think that they had better become a friend of Marx's who had such a talent and could be dangerous if let him alone.

Even in this case of Marx, or a case of a Judaist, if he doesn't love God, he must surely love money.  But Marx loved his money and maybe Rothschild's money (as Rothschild understood him) but not money of others, including Christians and Judaists.

So we may as well think: Money is the jealous god of Europeans, in face of which no other god may exist. 


Before power of money, such differences in religion as that between Christianity and Judaism have no value, according to Marx.

Hitler didn't look like a Northern European.

He looked like an Italian or a Portuguese.  Rather, he looked like a Judaist.  But when he delivered a speech, he looked like a real fighter against Judaists.  No one doubted that he knew every evil of Judaists as he resembled them.  As Hitler resembled Judaists, he must be able to understand evil of Judaists more than anybody, people thought.

On the other hand, Hitler thought that he had not been successful in society as he looked like Judaists.  Hitler thought if he had looked like a typical Northern European, he should have been accepted and thought of highly by Austrians and Germans.  Poor and young Hitler thought that the reason why he had been apparently rejected by the main stream society in the German speaking society due to his resemblance to Judaists must be that He had a holy mission to eradicate Judaists from Austria and Germany.

Hitler thought that a Higher Spirit made him look like a Jewish person to make him hate Judaists.  He though that he had to accept this terrible fate.

But, at the same time, Hitler was afraid that some Germans might come to think that he resembled Jewish people too much; but why?   In order to remove such suspicion, he thought that he had to be the cruelest man against Judaists.    

Taking this strategy, Hitler succeeded.  Ordinary German people thought secretly that Hitler looked like a Judaist but such Germans were not so rare; Hitler was one of Christian Germans who looked like Jewish people; Hitler's ancestors must have come from the south of the Alps to Austria; and such guys were a kind of funny and not threatening to Germans with Norther European traits.  Hitler was accepted as a kind of jokes.  He could be even loved by smiling Northern Europeans.

In some extreme cases, Hitler's followers must have thought that they had to save their leader Hitler by annihilating his likes, namely Judaists, since their resemblance to Hitler must have made the great leader suffer so much.

So, it is said that six million Judaists were killed by Hitler and his subordinates and admirers.  Hitler must have been thinking that you, Judaists, were wrong because you looked like me so much.


Finally what is the lesson?  

Hitler found that his resemblance to Judaists had made him fail in the German speaking society.  Hitler thought that he would be annihilated unless he annihilated Judaists.  So, he ventured into leading annihilation of Judaists for his survival and success.  But at any time, some Germans might point at Hitler, saying, "He looks like a Judaist!"  Hitler had to literally annihilate Jewish people till all the Judaists who looked like him were gone.  Then, he would be able to sleep in peace at night, he must have thought.

This kind of fear rising from one's personal sense of a crisis related to his physical traits is very strong in any society and at any time of history.  Accordingly, reference to one's physical characteristics should be avoided as much as possible in religion and other non-nonsense fields.

Therefore Judaists have not been excellent painters and sculptors like ancient Greeks or Romans.  Christians have never handed down physical traits of Christ Jesus and other key early followers of Him.  Islam forbade even imaging how Muhammad looked.

If there is somebody who looks like Moses, Christ Jesus or Muhammad, such a man might become another Hitler if he gets convinced of his resemblance to one of them.  It can be named the Hitler Effect.    


But too many sculptured figures and paintings of Holy Mary are seen in Europe.

The Lost Ark and The Lost Empire 

One of the biggest mysteries in the human history is that concerned with the Lost Ark.

The Ark of the Covenant, also known as the Ark of the Testimony, is a chest described in the Book of Exodus[1] as containing the Tablets of Stone on which the Ten Commandments were inscribed. According to the New Testament Letter to the Hebrews,[2] the Ark also contained Aaron's rod, a jar of manna, and the first Torah scroll as written by Moses; however, the first of the Books of Kings says that at the time of King Solomon, the Ark contained only the two Tablets of the Law.

The Babylonian Conquest and aftermath
In 587 BC, the Babylonians destroyed Jerusalem and Solomon's Temple. There is no record of what became of the Ark in the Books of Kings and Chronicles. But 1 Esdras (the Greek 3rd Book of Ezra} suggests that Babylonians took away the vessels of the ark of God but does not mention taking away the Ark itself:
And they took all the holy vessels of the Lord, both great and small, with the vessels of the ark of God, and the king's treasures, and carried them away into Babylon

In Rabbinic literature, the final disposition of the Ark is disputed.

It is very strange that Israelites or Hebrews didn't make the best effort to secure the Ark by any means from Babylonians.

And it is also very strange that Israelites or Hebrews didn't make the best effort to find and take back the Ark from Babylonians.  And it is mysterious that there are no records about the fate of the Ark or about their efforts to find and take back the Ark when Israelites or Hebrews were allowed to return to Jerusalem.

A reasonable explanation should be that there were some concrete reasons that they couldn't mention the fate of the Ark.  And thus, there are no descriptions about the fate of the Ark in the Old Testament.

Even after they returned to Palestine and Jerusalem, they didn't make any efforts to find or recover the Ark.  It is as if they had completely given up the Ark, the core of their religion.

So, something horrible must have happened to the Ark when it was taken to Babylon.  And, if the fact was recorded in a book of Israelites or Hebrews, it should have damaged their religion and themselves.  Accordingly, everybody responsible kept secret about the fate of the Ark.  Then what happened to the Ark?

Let's check the sequence of the events: In 605 BCE, Babylonia defeated the Kingdom of Judah and besieged Jerusalem.  Since then till 539 BCE when Persia conquered Babylonia, Hebrews were brought to and kept around Babylon.  Persia allowed Hebrews to return to Palestine and build a new temple in Jerusalem.

The most important point is that Hebrews could not liberate themselves by themselves.  They were just a kind of rescued by Persians.  The Ark did not help Hebrews living around Babylon under Babylonian authority.  The Ark was useless for them.  And they were also useless for the Ark, since those Hebrews could not protect the Ark so that the great and holy legacy of Moses and God was not defiled by the hands of the heathen.

It is a great shame for Hebrews.

In fact, it is said that Judaism changed during this Babylon Captivity.  Hebrews wrote some books from a different view than that they had had before the Babylon Captivity.  Now they came to think that their God is not only God for Hebrews but also for all the mankind.  Hebrews' God became not only God of Abraham but also God of Adam and Eve.  Judaism started to be built in this ethnic crisis.

And, one reasonable explanation is that the Ark was secretly carried out of Jerusalem before the defeat of Hebrews.  Except those who took the action, nobody knew it.  Accordingly, the Hebrews in Babylonia didn't know the fate of the Ark.  Their descendants naturally came to lose interest in the Ark.  They had no more strong sense of religious duty to search for it.  The Ark was lost in the turmoil of the war against the Babylonians; that was all for them.  But what became of the Ark after some of Hebrews secretly carried it out of Jerusalem?  Maybe it is now in Ethiopia or in South Africa.

Another explanation is that the Ark fell in the hands of Persians or their king Cyrus the Great.  However, there are no records about how Persians handled the Ark.  But it is a historical fact that Persia became the first world-class empire in the human history after it conquered Babylon and freed Hebrews.

Later conquests under Cyrus and his successors expanded the empire to include Lydia, Babylon, Egypt, and the lands to the west of the Indus andOxus rivers. At its greatest extent, the empire included the modern territories of Iran,Iraq, Kuwait, Syria, Jordan, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, all significant population centers of ancient Egypt as far west as Libya, Turkey, Thrace and Macedonia, much of theBlack Sea coastal regions, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, much of Central Asia,Afghanistan, northern Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and parts of Oman and the UAE, making it the first world empire.[66] Conflict on the western borders began with the famousGreco-Persian Wars which continued through the first half of the 5th century BC and ended with the Persian withdrawal from all of their European territories.

Indeed, it looks like Persians came to be supported by the power of the Ark.  It is natural if they kept a secret of their possession of the Ark and its power.  But then, why wouldn't the Ark let Hebrews win the war against Babylonians?  Probably, there must have been some sort of blasphemy among Hebrews fighting Babylonians.

Truly God of Moses is God for all the mankind but not only for Hebrews alone.  God must have changed His mind and decided to support Persians.

And then God changed His mind again to support Alexander the Great who defeated Persians.  And then God changed His mind again to support Romans who even occupied and destroyed Jerusalem.  And then God changed His mind again to support Christians and the Vatican.

The power of the Ark might be still on the Vatican.

In my theory, Cyrus the Great occupied Babylon and confiscated the Ark.  He, naturally, opened the holy box to find two stone tables.  He must have been a kind of disappointed, since no jewels were inside it.  So, he put it into the River Euphrates.   When the Ark was submerged, the power of the Ark was freed and rested on the head of King Cyrus who started to build the great empire which might have been built by Hebrews if they had been more faithful to their God before the Babylon Captivity.

With the Ark gone, a chance of Hebrews to establish a global empire had been lost forever.

Why None Comes Back

Why don't dead men come back to this world easily?

If a man has spirit that can survive his physical death, why doesn't his spirit come back to this world and try to communicate with other living men spiritually?

In reality, there are no cases that living people often or daily communicate with dead men they are familiar with.

The Bible depicts work of holy and evil spirits.  Though even Christ Jesus didn't communicate with souls of dead men, He seems to have communicated with holy spirits or God sometimes.  But He never encouraged His followers to have ability to communicate with souls of dead men, though He gave some of His followers power to drive out demons out of people's minds.

One of theories in this issue is that after one's death a person is judged to be admitted into Heaven or sent down to the hell.  And those who go to Heaven and see the glory of God never wish to come back to the human world under a strong influence of Satan.  On the other hand, those who are condemned to the hell are never allowed to get out of the hell; their ill souls are never allowed to come back to the human world to harm people.

Therefore, no dead men's souls would loiter in this world.  No dead men, whether blessed or coursed, come back to this human world.

So, the lesson is that this human world must be like a dirty and rotten pond; if people are allowed to move to the clean and fresh waters, they will never want to return and swim in the rank pond.

But how long will God overlook ill and evil minds of human beings soiling the spiritual domain in this universe?

How Significant Christ Is

What significance did Christ Jesus have?

1. It is a revolutionary notion that God sends to the human world His son as a human being though with ability to work miracles.

2. It is not money or wealth to save people and the world but faith and love.

3. It was clearly stated that mankind must love God and hate money.

4. It was clearly presented that Satan is real as well as angels and holy spirits.

5. It was proclaimed that the God of Abraham is the God of mankind.

6. The relationship between God and a man is defined as that between the father and a son.

7. It was declared that a man can win eternal life and live if his physical body is dead.

8. It was warned that there is no one good in this world but evil people are doomed to the hell.

9. It was confirmed that the poor can be loved by God but the rich are not.

10. The end of the world and the second coming of Christ were predicted.


We should not be absorbed in making business and enjoying life, but we have to think about the significance of Christ Jesus more and more.

Rich Europeans and Americans usually don't mind poor Africans, Muslims, Latin Americans, and Asians.

They think they are entitled to enjoy rich living, since the Europeans civilization led the world.  Modern science and technologies were invented in Europe.  Accordingly they think it is natural to be rich while other races are poor.

From a religious point of view, regions under strong influences of Christianity and Judaism have succeeded in cultivating modern material civilization.  Regions ruled by Islam cannot match Europe and America.  Europeans and Americans might think that this fact proves that their religions (Christianity and Judaism) are more authentic than Islam.

However, the more successful those Christians and Judaists are, the less religious they are.  And ironically, it looks like the poorer Muslims are, the more they observe their religion.  

Put simply, Europe-rooted Christianity seems to fail, though Islam cannot be thought to be very successful.  Indeed, today, the Vatican has no authority.  It has lost its authority through the World War I, the World War II, the Cold War, and the War on Terror.  The Vatican today looks like just a kind of a tourism resource.

In other world, today we have no religious center in the world.  No serious disputes among Christians, Judaists, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, etc.  But people in the world, including Chinese, believe power of economy and money.  And the global economy has been led by Anglo Saxon nations.  Their lifestyle and their way of business have prevailed even in the society of wealthy Muslims.

If you have money, for example, in New York, no one would mind what religion you believe.  You belong to global economy in that case, since you have money in New York, the global money center.   You are regarded as a member of a religion, namely global economy.

So, if we accept a notion that the Western civilization based on Christianity and Judaism has failed, we can clearly see what this era is.  The Western civilization has not been able to enrich contents of its underlying religions.  But it has produced every mean with which one can leave and forget the Word of God.  As the civilization has finally betrayed God, God would do something decisive on mankind.

If the current trend of the global political, economic, and cultural practices continue with the so-called advanced science and technology, the Word of God will be completely neglected in the 22nd century.

From a religious point of view, mankind has failed with the Vatican, the nation Israel, and hundreds of millions of poor Muslims.  Something horrible and holy should happen.

In summary, I think there is a great reason that God is angry at mankind today.

Glory of God on Whom, Judaists, Christians, or Muslims?

Roughly speaking, in 500 years after the emergence of Christ, the era of the Roman Empire was gone.  But Christians failed to expand their religion to the Middle East and Africa.  Accordingly, Islam was destined to rise.  Meanwhile, Judaists penetrated deep in regions along the Rhine.

From 500 years to 1000 years after the emergence of Christ, the Vatican established its authority.  Islam prevailed in the Middle East to some peripheral parts of Europe.  Meanwhile Judaists were further expanding their social presence mainly in a region now called Germany.  In this context, Judaists were evolving socially in Germany along with Germans.  They were rather on friendly terms.

From 1000 years to 1500 years after the emergence of Christ, the Vatican launched Crusades.  The Vatican regarded not only Muslims but also Judaists as their enemies.  Muslims failed to invade Europe, though they stopped expansion of Europeans to Asia.  On the other hand, in Germany the cruel influence of the Vatican came to have momentum.  Many Judaists fled to Poland and so on.  Judaists were also being driven out of Spain and Portugal.

From 1500 years to 2000 after the emergence of Christ, Christians in Europe found America and invaded the new world.  They could also reach India, China, and other parts of Asia by sailing round Africa, avoiding territories occupied by Muslims.  Europeans could accumulate great wealth from their exploitation of America and Africa and trade with Asia.  Based on this wealth they could develop science and carry out the Industrial Revolution.  Muslims were left behind.  But Judaists came to contribute to development of culture and science of modern Europe, though they were sometimes attacked by the Vatican and other biased Christians such as German Nazis.  However, the US became another center for Christianity and Judaism to lead the global economy and politics after the fall of Marxism and communism.


So, what is this history?  Where is the glory of God?

At least, the glory of God should not be sought in wealth of Europe and America.  But, it must be related to the fate of Judaism rather than the success and survival of the Vatican.  Yet, Israel today doesn't look like a symbol of the glory of God while it is hated by surrounding Muslims.

Anyway, you don't have to identify yourself as Judaists, Christians, or Muslims, since the glory of God cannot be simply solely on one group of them.

What should we learn from Judaists?

If you are Europeans or Americans, for you to be successful in academic communities or business domains it is very important to learn something from Judaists.

And, those who have learnt the most from Juadaists have been Judaist Europeans and Judaist Americans.  Accordingly, there have been many successful Judaist westerners not to mention Einstein and Rothchilds.

But from the beginning, we have not clear or correct  knowledge about Judaists.  For a majority of people in the world, Judaists are those who were enemies of Hitler and Nazis during WWII.  As Hitler and Nazis had gone long, Judaists to a majority of people in the world are those who are enemies of the Arabs and Muslims as well as enemies of poor Christina westerners.

Yet, we don't know why they were and are such.

From another point of view, Judaists are the only remnant of the era of the Roman Empire.  They, as a race, sub-race, or  ethnic group, are a kind of living witnesses of the era of the Roman Empire from a special viewpoint of history.

Even before the first Pope assumed his office somewhere around Rome, ancestors of today's Judaists were active and full of a sense of existence.  And without interruption or dubious episodes, those who identified themselves as Judaists continued their way of life as people of the Old Testament mostly in the Christian world for 2000 years after the emergence of Christ Jesus.  And their descendants still keep the same way of living today.

Put simply, the most important thing about Judaists is that they have not survived as individuals but as a group of people if not tied geographically or not in a frame of their own government.
 
It is truly an example of power of a religious and cognate group.  Of course, there have been various religious groups in history.  If their religions are sound and true, they can survive for long.  But, for any cognate groups to survive more than 2000 years is almost impossible.  There is only one other example: the Japanese with their imperial family.

But without Christianity, has it been possible for Judaists to survive to this date?  And, if Christianity had not included the Old Testament in their holy books, has it been possible for Judaists to survive to this date?

The key to understanding the historical success of Judaists must be the Old Testament adopted by Christians as a holy book.  Couldn't any Popes exclude the Old Testament from the list of their sacred writings?

We may as well think that Judaists have survived to this date, because some of leaders of Christianity or the Vatican during their pioneer days, namely in a few centuries after the emergence of Chrsit Jesus, decided to allow Judaists to survive with Christianity by taking the Old Testament into their Bible.

But why?  Probably, it must have been a request from a Holy Spirit, since it must have been possible to establish Christianity, in a few centuries after the emergence of Chrsit Jesus, as a new religion completely separated from Jewish traditions.    

Judaists have been clearly an integral part of Christianity in these 2000 years, whether you don't like them or dislike them.

Water, a Miracle Substance

A molecule of water H2O is lighter than air or a molecule of oxygen (O2) and that of nitrogen (N2), since hydrogen is lither than oxygen and nitrogen while nitrogen is lighter than oxygen.

So, clouds can float in the sky.  But water as liquid is heavier than air.  So, rain falls.

And water is the most important element for living things.  Conversely, you cannot probably create a living thing on the earth without water.

So, if God wished to create mankind and other living things, he had to first design the water molecule.  To enable formation of the water molecule, He had to take into consideration all the other types of molecules, atoms, and elements.

From a human point of view, we should think that God designed the nature and the universe to create water.  Everything must be properly designed to enable water and make it function properly to help produce life on this earth.

God made it by simply creating electrons, neutrons, and protons, since every element in this universe consists of only these three factors.

Hydrogen and oxygen, the components of water, are not exceptional.  They also consist of electrons, neutrons, and protons like gold, silver, copper and iron.  No special structure is found in hydrogen and oxygen.  But, water works like a magic factor to enable the formation of the world of animals and plants on this earth.

When you look at water, how can you think that you can create water in the same manner as you create gold, silver, copper and iron not to mention uranium.

It is a miracle.  It is a miracle that water, as it is, can exist in this universe.

Had God made any experiments before He could find how to constitute a water molecule?  Probably, mankind cannot design it if they tried even 100 trillion times to make a right model of water under any conditions and from any complicated elementary particles and energy.

Water is a miracle substance.

To earn one dollar you may sacrifice your time for payer to God.

To earn 100 dollars you may sacrifice your time for your family.

To earn 10,000 dollars you may sacrifice your old friends and new friends.

To earn $1 million you may sacrifice the society you have duty and responsibilities for.

To earn $100 million you may sacrifice your country or even betray it.

To earn $1 billion you may sacrifice peace and prosperity of the world and mankind.

To earn $1 trillion you will surely serve Satan.

And, Christ Jesus said, "All the gold and silver in this world belong to God but not men and Satan."

You are completely disqualified unless you become an enemy of money and wealth as Christ Jesus told.


But if you can sacrifice whatever money you happen to have for your neighbors and God, what would happen to you and Satan?

Christ Jesus never smiled.

Christ Jesus never ate beef.

Christ Jesus never drank whisky.

Christ Jesus never bought anything by money.

So, your smiling, eating beef, drinking whisky, and spending money cannot save you.

Christ Jesus said something about a relationship between mankind and God.  And, He meant that between mankind and God there should be love.  As God loves mankind, He gives life to each member of mankind.  Accordingly, every man has to love God.  This is what Christ Jesus said.

So, why could He smile at anybody that didn't love God?  Why could He east beef cooked by someone that didn't love God.  Why could He drink whisky in a bar surrounded by those who didn't love God.  Of course, he never needed anything that could be purchased by money, the enemy of God.

When a man dies, no assets, no money, and no social status can save him.  He has only one thing when he dies: his relationship with God.

But you may think that you can die while being loved by your family or friends.  But the relationships with other people are vague and relative.  It can be often unilateral.  Or it may be cursed by some of your enemies.  The relationships with others cannot save you ultimately.

The most important thing for a man is his relationship with God.  It is because God gave you life when you were born.

Of course you may deny such a relationship, insisting that you were born by chance and this universe is structured and configured so orderly but by chance.

Conversely, if you admit that you were born as God so wished, you might respect the relationship with God.  And, it is not a matter of fun, eating, drinking, or enjoying luxuries.  You have to be serious.

In this context we have to review what God says to mankind if we cannot know what He says to us individually.  And, to believe in Christ Jesus means that He told the words of God.  God sent His words through Christ Jesus.  This is the key.

"Love your enemies.  Forgive them.  And then God will forgive you," is the most impressive words of God, since it implies that we are in a position and a state where we need forgiveness from God.

But why have we provoked God?

Is it because we smile, eat beef, drink whisky, and buy luxuries?  Probably so.
