"John did baptize in the wilderness" - Not Christianity but Godism

South of Kyoto, Japan

Not Christianity but Godism

Christ Jesus did not claim that He was God so that everybody (meaning all the Jewish people) should revere Him as God.

However, centuries later a Roman emperor and the Vatican decided that Christ Jesus was God so that everybody should revere Him as God.

What a blasphemy it was for mere men to decide that someone was God!  But, Christianity today is based on this blasphemy.

The most important effect of Christianity on the Roman Empire and other European people was that the religion introduced the idea of the only and one God who had personality and ethical good.  What early Christians in Europe learnt in Christianity was that there was only and one God who requested good.  And it was the teaching Christ Jesus taught.

From the beginning, how stupid it was to think that God appeared among people as a mere parson!  There was no reason for God to show such goodwill toward faithless human beings.  There was no reason for God to love faithless human beings.  Even to Moses who fully obeyed the word of God, God had not shown Himself fully.  Even to Abraham who fully obeyed the word of God, God had given only His words.  There was no reason for God to show Himself as a human being in goodwill toward faithless human beings.

As 2000 years have passed, people have come to realize that God did not come to the human world as a mere human being.  So, nobody today believes that Christ Jesus was God and uses the name Jesus to call God.  God is God.  Jesus is Jesus.  This is commonsense of today, although Christian churches still stick to the ideology that Christ Jesus was God if not God was Christ Jesus.

The Gospels tell that Christ Jesus came to teach teachings by God.  For Jewish people, such teachings were well known, although they did not observe them.  But for gentiles and Roman citizens, it was a big discovery that there was only and one God in this universe who had protected Jewish people and who could protect any body, if not Jewish, only if he or she believed Him.

Put simply, what Christ Jesus taught was one and only God but not Christ Jesus Himself.  So, Christianity should call Godism.  It is not Christ Jesus that matters in Christianity but God.  In this context, followers of Christ Jesus should accept Judaism and Islam, since they also revers the same only and one God.

"the life was the light of men" - Where Did Christ Jesus Go after the Resurrection

North of Kyoto, Japan

Where Did Christ Jesus Go after the Resurrection

There is one mystery in the story about Christ Jesus in the Gospels: Where did Christ Jesus go after resurrection?

It seems to be a fact that Christ Jesus resurrected after the execution on the cross by Roman soldiers.  It seems to have given His followers courage to further live as followers to Him, sticking to faith in Christ Jesus.  So, the Gospel authors wrote how Christ Jesus appeared to His followers after He had disappeared from the tomb.  Those descriptions cannot be a fiction.  But the Gospels read that Christ Jesus ascended to the heaven 40 days after the resurrection, while His followers were watching Him.  This part must be a kind of metaphor, since it is clearly against a natural law.  But, there must have been something that made His followers believe that Christ Jesus ascended to the heaven.  Then, what was it?

The fact was that Christ Jesus disappeared from His followers; He never repeated His mission in the way He had done before the execution on the cross and the resurrection; and He never appeared to them after a certain time point except His spirit talked to Paul months or years later.  From the modern sense, it is thought that he went to some place, not probably the heaven, to hide.  And probably, Christ Jesus lived there in the rest of His life.  But how could people around Him fail to recognize Him?  Or did people around Him in His hiding place cooperate with Him to hide Him, knowing that the person was Christ Jesus?  And why did Christ Jesus hide in the special place?  Could not He secretly hide Himself among His followers, although the Jewish authority was eager and active to suppress the movement He had launched?

From a religious point of view, it can be thought that God hid Christ Jesus 40 days after His resurrection.  And the way God hid Christ Jesus must have looked like Christ Jesus was ascending to the heaven to the eyes of His followers.  In this case, as we cannot understand the mind of God fully, we only have to accept the act by God as it is.  And, indeed, without Christ Jesus further repeating His mission, Christianity prevailed and widely accepted by Roman citizens.

Nonetheless, we may wonder what became of Him when He disappeared from His followers after the resurrection.

And we may estimate that Christ Jesus went back to the place from which He had come.  It was not Nazareth, a village where He was born and raised.  From the beginning, He had appeared on a bank of the River Jordan, where John the Baptist was administering baptism, from nowhere.  The Gospels do not describe how and why Christ Jesus left Nazareth to come to the River Jordan.  And it cannot be thought that Christ Jesus had learnt Judaism in Nazareth.

So, it is natural to think that Christ Jesus had come from a special place where Judaism could be studied like the Temple in Jerusalem, although it is unthinkable that Christ Jesus learnt Judaism from Jewish priests in the Temple of Jerusalem.  But, there is one place suitable for study of Judaism independently from the Temple in Jerusalem.  It is Qumran.  Then if so, Christ Jesus came to the River Jordan from Qumran, and He must have returned to Qumran after the resurrection.

And Paul after encountering with the spirit of Christ Jesus on his way to Damascus must have traveled to Qumran, too, to learn the teaching of Christ Jesus.

Qumran is the base and facilities of a school or a faction of Judaists called the Essenes.  The notable Jewish author in the first century Flavius Josephus described in his book about the Jewish people that there were three major factions among Jewish people at the time: Sadducees, Pharisees, and Essenes.  The Gospels mention Sadducees and Pharisees, but strangely or interestingly there are no references to the Essenes.  The authors of the Gospels must have avoided mentioning Essenes, since they wanted to keep secret the tie between Christ Jesus and Qumran (or Paul and Qumran).  It must be because Qumran was the place where Christ Jesus went after the resurrection.

"write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus" - Core of the Faith of Early Christians

North of Kyoto, Japan

Core of the Faith of Early Christians

Why did the disciples and followers of Christ Jesus forsook Him and ran away when Christ Jesus was arrested by the Jewish authority and Roman soldiers?

Didn't Christ Jesus beforehand educate and train them so that they could cope with such an incident?  Didn't Christ Jesus enhance their spirits so that they could have faced such an incident calmly?  But they fled Gethsemane and the site of arrest of Christ Jesus with horror and fear.  So why?

The disciples and followers of Christ Jesus at the time were all Jewish people.  They knew how revolutionary the teachings by Christ Jesus were.  They must have known that the Jewish authority should be offended at His teachings and take their revenge on Christ Jesus.  But they must have believed that God or angels were protecting Christ Jesus from those authorities.  So, no matter how dangerous the teachings and movements of Christ Jesus were to Him and them, they thought that Christ Jesus and they were safe.  But, as the authorities and Jewish priests actually launched an attack and could arrest Him without interference from God, their belief and confidence in God and Christ Jesus faltered and crumbled.  Because the disciples, including Peter, and followers thought that Satan defeated God, they were afraid so much, fleeing Gethsemane and the site of arrest of Christ Jesus.

The teachings of Christ Jesus were related to salvation of souls of the disciples and followers.  They were not directly related to the battle between God and Satan.  So, the disciples, including Peter, and followers were not well prepared for crude attacks by Satan on Christ Jesus coming real.  It was the matter at a different phase.  If Satan and its soldiers, namely Jewish authorities and Roman soldiers, could directly attack Christ Jesus, the disciples and followers, they thought, could not be also safe; they could be also victims like Christ Jesus.  How terrible it was, they thought, to be arrested and judged by those authorities, as they would be stoned to death!  All they had to do was run away!

It was the degree of fear and horror they felt that should be understood.  In other words, they knew how much the teachings of Christ Jesus had offended Jewish priests and the Jewish authorities.  They knew that the teachings of Christ Jesus were revolutionary enough to challenge Jewish priests and the Jewish authorities.  And, they must have also realized that Satan would use Jewish priests and the Jewish authorities as its soldiers in the battle between Christ Jesus and Satan.  And, they really saw Satan actually succeeding in capturing and persecuting Christ Jesus.  Next, they must face Satan without protection by Christ Jesus and God.  So, they lost their nerve and broke away.

In other words, the great tension and pressure of the battle between God and Satan fell on the disciples and followers without any protection.  If we cannot understand these tension and pressure, we cannot truly understand the Gospels.

So, they hid until Christ Jesus resurrected after execution.  But, the fact that Christ Jesus resurrected made them regain the confidence in Christ Jesus and God they had had once.  Satan could not destroy Christ Jesus!  So, they realized that they should not be afraid of Satan and its soldiers, the Jewish and Roman authorities.  This conviction became the core of the faith of Early Christians.

"messenger before thy face" - If Christ Jesus Had Not been Executed

A Shinto Shrine around Tokyo with New Year's Visitors

If Christ Jesus Had Not been Executed

Why was Christ Jesus killed by the Jewish authority and the Roman Governor?  Did He do anything very bad?  Why would not His followers try to fight and save Him?

Many and various explanations have been made by Christian churches, scholars, and knowledgeable persons, but it seems that none has been satisfied by their explanations in these 2000 years.

Put simply, it was a result of the fight between angels and Satan.  From the beginning, Satan tried to destroy Christ Jesus.  However, angels protected Christ Jesus at every time Satan tried to kill Christ Jesus.  But, finally angels found that Satan would do more harm to human beings if they continued to protect the human life of Christ Jesus.  So, God intervened and let Satan do what it wanted, since He could restore life of Christ Jesus at His will as God is almighty.  But, whatever the reason was, Satan was glad to be given a chance to fulfill his wish to kill Christ Jesus, and Satan used the Jewish authority and the Roman Governor to execute Christ Jesus.

It is not a matter that can be explained in the domain of the human world, human interests, and human senses, since Christ Jesus was the Son of God or somebody like that.

The mistake of those Christian churches, scholars, and knowledgeable persons who tried to explain the death of Christ Jesus is that they handled the matter in the human phase while the matter was more related to the spiritual world and the domain of angels, Satan, and human souls.

The lesson we should learn from the death of Christ Jesus is that Satan is real and realistic while it is crazy enough to kill the Son of God or somebody like that.

So, it is not good for Christians today, including Christian churches, to only praise and appreciate the death of Christ Jesus (for the reason that He died for them) but not blame Satan.

And, we should think what had happened if Christ Jesus had not been killed by Satan.  It is the very reason that God approved Satan's plan to kill Christ Jesus.  At least, it looks likely that Judas should have been killed as a betrayer by the Jewish authority and the Roman Governor.  And in the worst case, all the Jewish people were destroyed in the coming Jewish-Roman War and Judaism should have been exterminated.

"In the beginning was the Word" - Even If Not a Pious Christian

Mt. Fuji, the Highest Mountain of Japan, 100 km from Tokyo

Even If Not a Pious Christian

Nobody thinks that the end of the world is close since the 21st century began without collapse of the human civilization and the world still continues without any sign of a fall of the human civilization.

However, the world is facing more dangerous trends of movements and states of peoples and nations than it faced the 9/11 Terror and the 2008 Financial Crisis.

It is not statistics about economy and political incidents that cast a shadow on the future.  It is degradation of human ethics.

Representative persons in this trend are Trump, Putin, and Xi.  However, there are hundreds of millions of people who support them.  On the other hand, opponents to them are not necessarily decent persons as they deny important teachings of the Bible, supporting indecent activities in the name of liberal, progressive, or anti-establishment.

Those who support Trump, Putin, and Xi are brainwashed by money, power, and militarism.  They are far from ethical teaching of Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Confucianism, etc.

Especially, in the Western world commercialism is taking over the basic framework of society from Christianity.  No ethical conditions are respected by Trump and supporters for him.  It is partly because supporters for Trump are disappointed with some major Western Media that superficially uphold ethics, but they are pursuing and enjoying wealth and high status above ordinary people.   People are disappointed at, say, Obama and other progressive politicians, since these liberal politicians are highly educated elite members of society and share little with ordinary people, to tell the truth.  Trump is too rich to be regarded as a friend of ordinary people, but Trump attacks those Media and progressive politicians who are now disliked by ordinary people.  People like to see indecent Trump attacking superficially decent progressive politicians and Media.

Putin is appealing to Russians, behaving like a big man, seeking to capitalize on Trump and selling a dream of making Russia strong again.  Xi has been seeking to capitalize on pro-China US elites and politicians to make China strong, which is a long-term dream of the Chinese people.  With or without Trump, the US should start to take seriously the Chinese challenge, which would affect many people concerned in various countries.

The expected role of the US is to suppress irrational behaviors of Putin, Xi, and the likes.  But Trump is handling Putin, Xi, and the likes in a dubious way.  To solve this issue, the US should choose as US President a more decent politician with good moral character, even if not a pious Christian.

"love the Lord thy God with all thy heart" - Differences between Christianity, Judaism, and Islam

Mt. Fuji from around Tokyo

Differences between Christianity, Judaism, and Islam

The core of Christianity is to believe or accept that Christ Jesus is God.  However, the key to believing or accepting  Christ Jesus as God is to believe and accept that the god of Christ Jesus, Moses, and Abraham is the only and one god in the universe.

The core of Judaism is to believe or accept that the only and one god in the universe chose and loved Judaists and the Jewish tribe.  The core of Islam is to believe or accept that only and one god in the universe who is also the god of Judaism and Christianity chose Muhammad and gave His words to Muhammad.

In summary,  the key to understanding Christianity, Judaism, and Islam is to believe and accept that there is only and one god in the universe and admit it.

By analogy, God is sun light (white light) that is split into colored light of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam through a prism.  First, there is sun light, and then red, blue, and green lights are generated, each of which can represent one of the three major religions (in no particular order).

So, ultimately Christians should declare that they are believers of God more than Christians; Judaists should also declare that they are believer of God more than Judaists; and Muslims should also declare that they are believers of God more than Muslims.

Compared with the significance that there is only and one god in the world and universe and men admit it, the differences between Christianity, Judaism, and Islam must be very minor.

"An angel spake to him" - None Can Prove Authenticity of Judaism and Christianity, Though

Around Tokyo

None Can Prove Authenticity of Judaism and Christianity, Though

Who can understand Christ Jesus by only reading the Bible?

Christianity does not consist of the Bible alone, since it is not written in the way of making people convinced of the claim that Christ Jesus is God.  Christianity consists of church's ideology that Christ Jesus is God.

However, everybody would think that the big and time-honored churches and their organization cannot be based on false facts or extravagant fictions.  More than that, certain missionaries from Christian churches have been so devout, accepting and helping poor and unlucky people to the extent that none can do without belief in God.  As the source of such Christian activities, Christ Jesus could be respected and revered as somebody sent by God.  People must have watched and observed carefully what Christians belonging to churches would do to them, if they have not carefully or academically studied ideologies and creeds of Christianity.

To put simply, the secret of Christianity is not in the Bible but rather in the Church.

Then where is the secret of Judaism?  Is it in the Hebrew Bible?  No matter how mysterious the secret of Judaism is, it seems very rare that Jewish people abandon Judaism and convert to Christianity or Islam.  They all seem to be content to live as Judaists.  And nobody, including Christians and Muslims, minds authenticity of Judaism, since Christianity and Islam attribute their authenticity to Judaism.  But how can they deny the negation of authenticity of Judaism?  How can they respond to the claim that everything written in the Old Testament is false?

In other words, Judaism is supported not only by Jewish people but also Christians and Muslims.

However as Christianity is supported by 2.2 billion people and Islam by 1.6 billion people.  These Abrahamic religions have survived for 2000 years and 1400 years, respectively.  Such many men cannot believe false religions for such long periods according to commonsense.

Men believe in God while they cannot understand God except in their own way.  To understand God is not the major purpose for having faith in God.  And believers come to understand God more as they strengthen their faith more.  Such understanding, however, is not expressed or explained partly because it is very personal.   Therefor the mysteries remain: What Christ Jesus was, and whether Judaism is authentic or God of Judaists is real God.

"Now is my soul troubled" - True Black Matter: Space First, and Secondary Material

Around Tokyo

True Black Matter: Space First, and Secondary Material

According to Einstein' s theory, the space can be  warped, deformed, and distorted due to existence of mass or materials and substances.

In the solar system, the space around the Sun is warped, contracted, or compressed to the Sun.  So, the light traverses this slant of the space around the Sun.  This phenomenon was scientifically observed in the early 20th century to prove Einstein's theory.

However, it is not only light that moves along the deformed space around the Sun but also planets such as Venus, the Earth, Mars, etc.  Or, it should be stated in this way: the huge mass of the Sun warps the space around the Sun, and then the Earth and other planets move along the slant of the space around the Sun.

And the solar system belongs to a galaxy called the Milky Way.  Many, or specifically about 300 billion, solar systems are included in the Milky Way, and they are circling around the central point of the Milky Way like planets going around the Sun.  Our solar systems is thought to rotate around the central point of the Milky Way in the period of 250 million years while the Earth rotates around the Sun taking one year.  It is thought that there is a big Black Hole or many Black Holes at the center of the Milky Way, however they are not yet fully observed.  But the main issue is that the central part of the Milky Way has not enough mass to have that amount of solar systems circling around it while the Sun has enough mass to have the Earth and other planes going around it.

Accordingly scientists think that actually there must be enough mass or substances with enough mass around the central area of the Milky Way but they are not invisible.    Those invisible substances must have enough mass to allow the Milky Way to keep its structure: many solar systems circling around the center of the Milky Way.  But as these substance are not yet observed, they are called Black Matter.  Black Holes might be Black Matter, but scientifically these Black Holes in the central area of the Milky Way do not have enough effect of mass.  So, the source of Black Matter is still a mystery.  But its existence is scientifically confirmed as the Milky Way cannot take the present structure without Black Matter with a myriad of solar systems circling around its center.

But the key to this question is the warp of the space.  Such many solar systems go around the center of the Milky Way along the slant of the space like the Earth circles around the Sun.   And scientists think only that the space is warped only by existence of mass or stars.  So, they are searching for the source of mass that realizes this structure of the Milky Way.  However, is mass the only reason for the space to get warped?   For some other reasons, can't the space be warped?  If so, the efforts to try to find new material as the source of the origin of mass that causes the space around the center of the Milky Way to get warped are useless.

At the early stage of the development of the universe, hydrogen atoms were created as the first type of atoms.  As the universe itself was small in the size, this universe was full of hydrogen atoms.  However, hydrogen atoms were not spread evenly in the space.  At some locations, they are dense, and at other locations, they are thin and spare.  And as the universe is expanded through the Big Bang, the dense parts were separated from one another, forming stars and galaxies.  Today the average distance between two galaxies is millions of light-years. The distance between our Milky Way and the nearest Andromeda Galaxy is about 2.5 million light-years.  The point at issue is that Black Matter must have existed at the early stage of the universe and it contributed to the formation of galaxies.

Put simply, the space at the center of each galaxy must have been warped or ragged or more specifically concave so that hydrogen atoms easily gather and get concentrated to form original galaxies.  In other words, the space of the universe was from the beginning ragged so that hydrogen atoms gathered to concave parts to form galaxies.   There is no Dark Matter but originally warped space.

This theory suggests that in the extremely small size of the universe at the earliest stage of the development of the universe even before the Big Bang,  it is not perfectly round, smooth, or uniform.  This ragged surface of the original 3 dimensional space (from 10 to the minus 34 th power cm to 1 cm) was expanded to the size of many light-years through the Inflation and Big Bang.  And concaves of the surface of the space were also expanded with hydrogen atoms in it, resulting in galaxies each of which is rotating around its center.

So, there is no Dark Matter but originally warped space.  It is the nature of space and time of this universe.  Error and uncertainty exist in anything in this universe.  And one of such features is this ragged or concave surface of the universe, although three-dimensional.  Without mass, parts of the space of the universe can be warped and deformed.

Or in other words, space first, and secondary material.

"it bringeth forth much fruit" - Need for God or the Concept of God

Tokyo, about 45 km far

Need for God or the Concept of God

There is a theory that people came to need God or the concept of God as someone or some entity that could foresee the future.

People encountered vary many and various tragedies in their lives.  They thought that if they had been able to see future, they could have avoided any tragedy.  From farmers and hunters to kings of ancient nations, all people wished for such ability to foresee future.  And even if they could not have such ability, they wished they could be helped by someone or some entity that has such ability.  So, they discovered, invented, or dreamed of God or the concept of God.

In this context, God was created by men, but God did not create men.

As time went by or specifically in these 2000 years, the mankind has developed its civilization, science, and technologies and found various rules in various phenomena and incidents.  Now men's ability has greatly expanded and their lives have been improved along with ability to predict future of various phenomena and incidents.  People do not any more live in the world of phantoms, angels, devils, and other superstitions.  Almost no people believe, for example, miracles depicted in the Bible.  But major religions in this world do not go extinct.

Even people like to observe Christmas.  Apart from the fields of science and technologies and social systems, people still cannot avoid major and minor troubles in their lives.  They can still meet natural disasters, fall in unexpected illness, lose their assets, get involved in human conflicts, become victimized by criminals, etc.  So, people understand value in observing Christmas.  It also means that people know that science, technologies, and advanced social systems cannot still solve every human problem.

In other words, as long as there is uncertainty in one's life, one needs religion to conquer fear of possible tragedies.

However, the Gospels read that Christ Jesus said that when one rich man accumulated enough assets and said to himself that he could now spend the rest of his life, enjoying his riches, eating and drinking, God said to him that he was so foolish as his life would end that night.

Ultimately, until men develop science and technology enough to conquer death, religion will be required.  Until then, people will continue to observe Christianity with respect for God or the concept of God.

"again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus" - When God Solves the Jewish/Christian Problem

Mt. Fuji from around Tokyo

When God Solves the Jewish/Christian Problem

It has been almost 2000 years since Christ Jesus appeared among Jewish people.

Christ Jesus must have wished He would have been accepted by all the Jewish people.  As later Christian leaders claimed that Christ Jesus must have wanted that his teaching would be accepted by all the people in the world, He must have really wished that His teaching would have been all the more accepted by all the Jewish people.  And it is widely believed that He was the Son of God or more.  So, His wish must be a wish of God.

But, while 2000 years have passed,  Judaists do not show any significant movement to accept His teaching.  And it is inferred that the main reason is that Christians have claimed that Christ Jesus is God, which cannot be admitted according to Judaism.

God has not destroyed all the Jewish people for the reason that they have not accepted the teaching of Christ Jesus.  But God also has not destroyed Christianity where God is identified with Christ Jesus or someone who is infinite is identified with another who is finite.

So, although it is no wonder if God has destroyed both the Jewish people and the Christianity, they have been allowed to survive for 2000 years.

However, this fundamental question must be solved sooner or later as 2000 years have passed.  And, Islam might be counted in this judgment.

If God is Christ Jesus, it is big insult to God not to recognize Christ Jesus as God.  But, if God is not Christ Jesus, it is a big blasphemy to regard Christ Jesus as God.  So, there are two possibilities that God is simply waiting for the best time to put an end to this question or that God has already abandoned all these foolish Jewish people, Christian churches, and Muslims.  All we have to do is to wish God just waited for the best time.

"is not rich toward God" - When God Abandons the Mankind

Tokyo Station

When God Abandons the Mankind

Since the beginning of the 21st century, we have observed warfare and continued turmoil in Iraq, the birth place of the Mesopotamian Civilization.  Then the ravages of war started to prevail in Afghanistan where Alexander the Great had reached in his campaign to the east.  And, the Arab spring eventually led to the fall of the autocrat in Libya and revolutionary uproar in Egypt, further putting Syria into a tragic civil war; all of the countries were once important areas for the Roman Empire.  So, since the beginning of the 21st century, part of the history was repeated up to the era of Christ Jesus.  This must be a great warning to the mankind.

In addition, China is strengthening its national power as it was a major empire around A.D. 1.  Russia has shown no inclination for observation of Western democracy, pursuing its hegemony in the world like that they had in the Cold War era.  The UK is withdrawing from the EU to protect its independence.   The US chose as its president a business man associated with entertainment, who shouted for America to pursue national interest more than any other predecessors in a more direct and coarse way than was seen in the White House.  Nations seem to be standing against other nations.  It may be the situation predicted by Christ Jesus in terms of the end of the world.

In the 20th century, the mankind experienced the two world wars.  But the third one might be closer although most of nations are enjoying prosperity supported by hi-tech based commercialism.

And if the mankind could continue to survive and further develop technologies and science, dangerous future can be only estimated more than rosy future.  Even today, people have come to be aware of dangerous use of digital systems, the Internet power, and Artificial Intelligence in addition to the gene engineering technology.  If science and technology continue to develop at the present pace, the future of the mankind might be at real risk.  For example, the mankind might be taken over by robots equipped with advances AI, say, 1000 years later.  In the word of robots, global warming and other natural disasters will not be any problems.  They need not even breathe.

And this trend of the fall of the mankind and the rise of robots with super AI might be started around early 21st century, namely today.

Future robots with super AI might start to conquer the universe.  As there is no physical restriction as living things for them, they might travel distance of many light years to reach other solar systems and planets.   They can be the ruler of the universe.  This might be a simple scientific fiction story, but there is a possibility.

However, there is one specific advantage for the mankind.  It is the power and ability to believe in God who is the creator of the universe.  As long as God supports the mankind, robots will not be able to defeat the mankind in case they come to have such an intention.

But if the mankind loses its faith in God and God abandons the mankind, any scientific fictions can be reality.  It is the time for us to reflect our faith and consider future.

Jesus Learned Judaism in Qumran

Christ Jesus often referred to the Old Testament (Hebrew Bible).
1. JESUS:
But he answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4, cf. Luke 4:4)
1. OLD TESTAMENT:
And he humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. (Deuteronomy 8:3)

2. JESUS:
Jesus said to him, “Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’” (Matthew 4:7; cf. Luke 4:12)
2. OLD TESTAMENT:
“You shall not put the Lord your God to the test, as you tested him at Massah.” (Deuteronomy 6:16)

3. JESUS:
Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’” (Matthew 4:10, cf. Luke 4:8)
3. OLD TESTAMENT:
It is the Lord your God you shall fear. Him you shall serve and by his name you shall swear. (Deuteronomy 6:13)

4. JESUS
“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ ” (Matthew 5:21)
4. OLD TESTAMENT:
“You shall not murder.” (Exodus 20:13)

5. JESUS:
“It was also said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’” (Matthew 5:31)
5. OLD TESTAMENT:
“When a man takes a wife and marries her, if then she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some indecency in her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house . . . (Deuteronomy 24:1)

6. JESUS
“Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform to the Lord what you have sworn.’” (Matthew 5:33)
6. OLD TESTAMENT:
If a man vows a vow to the Lord, or swears an oath to bind himself by a pledge, he shall not break his word. He shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth. (Numbers 30:2; cf. Deuteronomy 23:21)

7. JESUS:
“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’” (Matthew 5:38)
7. OLD TESTAMENT:
But if there is harm, then you shall pay life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe. (Exodus 21:23–25; cf. Leviticus 24:19-20, Deuteronomy 19:21)

8. JESUS:
He answered them, “And why do you break the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition? For God commanded, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘Whoever reviles father or mother must surely die.’ But you say, ‘If anyone tells his father or his mother, “What you would have gained from me is given to God,”he need not honor his father.’ So for the sake of your tradition you have made void the word of God.” (Matthew 15:1-6 ); cf. Mark 7:10)
8. OLD TESTAMENT:
“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.” (Exodus 20:12, cf. Exodus 21:17)

9. JESUS
He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” (Matthew 19:4–6), cf. Mark 10:6-8)
9. OLD TESTAMENT:
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27)
Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. (Genesis 2:24)
          Etc.

So, it is apparent that Christ Jesus learn Judaism enough to preach Judaism with his own words, freely citing expressions from the Hebrew Bible.  It also means that Christ Jesus read the Judaism holy books.

However, conventionally it is said that Christ Jesus had been living as a poor carpenter in a local village, Nazareth.  But who taught Him the religion in such a local place?  Was there a good or suitable synagogue in Nazareth?  Or did He sometimes travel to Jerusalem to learn Judaism from priests of the Temple?

The only reasonable answer  is that Christ Jesus learnt how to read and write as well as Judaism in Qumran.

"spoken by Esaias the prophet" - Survival of Ashkenazi Jewish People

Mt. Fuji, Japan, 100 Km Far

Survival of Ashkenazi Jewish People

Good or bad, Jewish people are a kind of representative group of the mankind, not because of the huge scale of their size but because of their importance in religion and culture of human beings.

Today, they have virtually their own state called Israel where about 90% of the population are descendants of a group of Jewish people called Ashkenazim who are believed to be formed in Europe.  However, how Ashkenazi Jewish people were established is a kind of mystery.
A model based on the genetic sequencing of 128 Ashkenazi Jews concludes that today’s Ashkenazim descend from the fusion of European and Middle-Eastern Jews during the medieval era, between 600 to 800 years ago.
It can be easily inferred that the era of the Crusades (1000s to 1400s) should have a decisive influence on the Ashkenazi Jewish people.

After the two Jewish-Roman Wars about A.D. 70 and 130, the new diaspora began.  Jewish people were driven out of Jerusalem and Palestine, scattering around the Mediterranean and in the Roam Empire.

In the above figure, the dark spots and areas marked black are Jewish residential areas between 100 and 300 after the Jewish-Roman Wars.  It is interesting to refer to a map showing Roman arterial roads.

So, it can be thought that some Jewish people moved in the Roman Empire along Roman arterial high ways deep into the north of the Alps up to the Rheine.  Probably they traveled with Roman troops, providing services to the troops or joining the troops.  Or they might be treated as slaves by Roman troops.  Anyway, it is likely that Jewish people crossed over the Alps, accompanying Roman troops or being forced to follow them after the Jewish-Roman Wars.  But before 500, the Empire collapsed facing invasion of  Germanic people, called Great Barbarian Invasion between 400 and 600.

Then, what happened to those Jewish people who immigrated into Western Europe accompanying Roman troops?  When the Empire fell, Roman soldiers who were stationed in Western Europe must have decided to stay and become local citizens or villagers rather than going back to Rome.  And the Jewish people working and living around the Roman troops must have followed suit.  Anyway, there were no places for them to return to.  These people became ancestors of Ashkenazi Jewish people.

As time went by, the Kingdom of the Franks rose to accept Christianity:
The Frankish Church grew out of the Church in Gaul in the Merovingian period, which was given a particularly Germanic development in a number of "Frankish synods" throughout the 6th and 7th centuries (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francia).  According, those Jewish people must be suppressed by these Church and the Vatican.  They must have moved from the Rhine river region to the Germanic areas.

But, finally, a great tragedy fell on the Jewish people fleeing from Christian Franks to the east of the Rhine.  The Crusade began around 1000.  The main forces of the Crusade started around today's Paris and got across the Germanic areas to the east and then down to the south to Palestine or got down south to the Mediterranean and sailed to Palestine.  And along both the routes, many Jewish people were killed by Crusade soldiers.

As the massacre of the diaspora Jewish people by the crusades was so intense and  through, almost they were extinct.
The math also indicates that today’s sprawling community of Ashkenazi Jews — there are more than 10 million around the world — derived from just 350 people or so. That previously postulated population bottleneck — a drastic reduction in population size — occurred between 25 to 32 generations ago, the scientists say.(https://www.haaretz.com/science-and-health/.premium-ashkenazim-derive-from-350-people-1.5263886)
So, surviving Jewish people spoke Yiddish in which their past movements were reflected.
Yiddish is the historical language of the Ashkenazi Jews. It originated during the 9th century[4] in Central Europe, providing the nascent Ashkenazi community with a High German-based vernacular fused with elements taken from Hebrew and Aramaic as well as from Slavic languages and traces of Romance languages. Yiddish is written with a fully vocalized version of the Hebrew alphabet.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yiddish
The ancestors of Ashkenazi Jewish people left Palestine after the Jewish-Roman Wars and got mingled in Roman citizens or slaved by Roman troops and moved with Roman troops to Western Europe, while those Jewish people kept Hebrew and Aramaic languages or before they completely forgot those languages; but after the fall of the Empire, they stayed there or Western Europe where Roman troops had been stationed.   But afterwards, they got driven out of the Rhein region by the Frankish Churches to east Germanic region but later suffered massacre by the Crusade.  But only hundreds of Jewish people who ran away into a Slavic region must have been able to survive.  All these past movements are reflected in their language, Yiddish, as the above citation implies.

So, Judaism today owed much to these hundreds Jewish people who could escape attacks from the Christian churches, the Vatican, and the Crusades between 1000 and 1500.  Their sense of enthusiasm for sticking to Judaism realized further survival of Judaism.

However, it is thought that the Old Testament adopted by Christianity into the Christian holy books helped these Jewish people who were almost annihilated.  Whereas those Jewish people lost almost all of their assets and traditions due to severe attacks by the crusades, Christian churches presented Jewish traditions to them through the Old Testament.  Based on the Old Testament, modern Judaism must have been rebuilt, ironically, at least for Ashkenazi Jewish people.

"Blessed is the King of Israel " - Christ Jesus as a Member of Judaism

Shinto Shrine around Tokyo

Christ Jesus as a Member of Judaism

Christianity was created as a denomination of Judaism as Christ Jesus was a Jewish man.

But what actually and critically separated Christianity from Judaism as time went by?  Anyway, it was after the Jewish-Roman War when the two movements were decisively separated.  It is also thought that the Gospel according to John was created after the War while the Gospels according to Mark, Matthew, and Luke were before the War.

It is said that Judaism first started to separate Christianity or early Christianity, while some early Christians requested Judaists to include the books that later constituted the New Testament into the holy books of Judaism.  Even before Christians in the Roman Empire established the ideology that Christ Jesus was God and God was in three or the trinity, Judaists were alarmed at too much emphasis on Christ Jesus by early Christians to the degree where Christ Jesus was regarded as a kind of God.  And, some early Christians wanted Judaism to take in their faith in God and the Son of God, namely Christ Jesus.

Judaists or non-Christian Jewish people did not totally object to the teaching by Christ Jesus, since Christ Jesus had often cited words and sentences of the Old Testament or the holy books of Judaism.  However, some of them thought that Christ Jesus had preached sometimes something that was not in their holy books.

Can Jewish people today deny that Christ Jesus was a Jewish man if Christ Jesus had claimed that He was a Jewish man?  At least, Christ Jesus having lived before the Jewish-Roman War must be admitted as a member of Judaism.

"he went into their synagogue" - The Fall of the Roman Empire and Christianity.

Around Tokyo

The Fall of the Roman Empire and Christianity

The Roman Empire collapsed rather in a mysterious way, so that there are various theories about its cause of fall.
1. Invasions by Barbarian tribes
2. Economic troubles and overreliance on slave labor
3. The rise of the Eastern Empire
4. Overexpansion and military overspending
5. Government corruption and political instability
6. The arrival of the Huns and the migration of the Barbarian tribes
7. Christianity and the loss of traditional values
8. Weakening of the Roman legions
https://www.history.com/news/8-reasons-why-rome-fell
In addition, climate change and pandemic are pointed to as major causes:
The weather deteriorated in 150–400 AD — the ‘Roman Transitional Period’ — and hit temperature lows in the ‘Late Antique Little Ice Age’, from 450–700 AD, when the Empire fell apart.
The worst aspects of climate change, Harper maintains, hit the Empire just as it was blighted by its most serious bouts of disease. In 165 AD, the Antonine plague, probably caused by smallpox, struck. In 249 AD, an unknown type of pathogen followed. Then, in 541 AD, the first great pandemic of Yersinia pestis, which causes bubonic plague, arrived and lingered for more than two centuries.
https://www.spectator.co.uk/2017/12/famine-fever-and-the-fall-of-rome/
However, despite the fall of the Empire, Christian churches and the Vatican could survive without interruption.  And, there were no decisive incidents, wars, natural disasters, etc. that were recorded and remembered in later generations and up to day.   No kingdoms, empires, or tribes replaced Romans and occupied Rome, but only the Vatican remained.

If the core structure of the Empire had been sound and intact, the Empire could have overcome invasions by foreign forces, domestic problems, and natural diseases.  And the core structure of the Empire was military.  And the military needed the core ideology that made it superior to other tribes.

Christianity was clearly against the core ideology of the Roman military.  But as Christianity was adopted as the state religion of the Roman Empire, the teaching of Christianity came to replace the core ideology of the Roman military.  Accordingly, the military lost its discipline and control.  Roman soldiers were not defeated, massacred, or died down, but became Christian citizens, discarding weapons.  And, the Vatican survived with many churches in various regions once occupied by the Empire.

The key to the fall of the Roman Empire was Christianity.  And, it is no wonder as it was Roman soldiers that had actually crucified and executed Christ Jesus 400 years before the collapse of the Empire.

"the inheritance shall be our's" - Christ Jesus' version of Judaism and Essenes' Judaism

Tokyo

Christ Jesus' version of Judaism and Essenes' Judaism

St. Paul discussed many various teachings in various ways as seen in the Bible, although he never saw living Christ Jesus preaching.

Paul delivered those words as if he had been taught by Christ Jesus Himself in person, although he never met living Christ Jesus.  How could Paul preach so confidently?
There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.
Paul the Apostle

God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
Paul the Apostle

We walk by faith, not by sight.
Paul the Apostle

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Paul the Apostle

If God is for us, who can be against us?
Paul the Apostle

Owe nothing to anyone, except to love one another.
Paul the Apostle

And I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes. For women who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things they do.
Paul the Apostle
https://www.azquotes.com/author/38117-Paul_the_Apostle
However, there is an impression that Paul was teaching his own thought about the relationship between God and human beings while his mind and spirit were being elevated and enlightened by Christ Jesus.  And then, how Paul was uplifted by Christ Jesus?  Paul was spoken to only once by the Spirit of Christ Jesus after His death on the cross and subsequent resurrection.  And, the Spirit only told Paul not to persecute Him but never taught any theology to Paul.

It is true that Paul had learnt Judaism before he started to persecute followers of Christ Jesus and later converted to a follower of Christ Jesus.  But teachings Paul had learnt were conventional Judaism but not revolutionary Judaism of Christ Jesus.  And, Paul did not learn teachings of Christ Jesus from any disciples and followers like Peter who had actually seen and heard Christ Jesus preaching, according to the Bible.

But, the Bible says that Paul had spent three years in Arabia or a desert area without making any movement after encountering the Spirit of Christ Jesus.  So, it is natural that Paul went to Qumran to newly learn Christ Jesus' version of Judaism, since His teachings were similar to what was taught among Essenes in Qumran.

"A certain man planted a vineyard" - Critical Presumption on Judaism, Christianity, and Islam

Around Tokyo

Critical Presumption on Judaism, Christianity, and Islam

It is sometimes said to be nonsense or meaningless to assume things that never happened in the history and imagine what otherwise should have resulted.

However, it must not be meaningless to consider hypothetical scenarios in the case of involving God.

So, if Abraham had not followed the words of God and immigrated into Palestine, no Hebrew tribe should have been established.  However, on the contrary, the 4000-year history of the mankind came to be built on this one man's faith in God.

If Moses had not found God in a bush fire and followed His word, Jewish people must have been lost in Egypt.  However, on the contrary, formation and development of Judaism were ensured by this man's faith in God.

And, if Christ Jesus had not started His mission in Israel, Jewish people must have been simply defeated, destroyed and driven to diaspora and and oblivion by the Roman Empire.  There were many tribes and kingdoms defeated, destroyed and driven to diaspora and and oblivion by the Roman Empire.  The Jewish people who lost the core of their religion and tradition, namely Jerusalem, must have been unable to keep their identity and restore their pride.  In the case of the Babylonian captivity, they had Jerusalem where for them to return and re-establish their identity, religious pride, and ethnic survival.  However, the Roman Empire was more powerful than any other ancient empires hostile to the Jewish tribe.  The Empire actually stopped development of the Greek Civilization, although it inherited some ancient-Greek legacy, and terminated continuity of the Egyptian Civilization for ever, although Egypt had been already conquered by Alexander the Great and its partial successor.  The Roman Empire must have completely dispersed Jewish people who lost the core of their religion and tradition.  However, Judaism could survive along with Christianity.

When Christianity was spreading in the Roman Empire, Roman citizens came to realize that Jewish people were special unlike any other tribes, since  Christianity was born among Jewish people and Judaism was important to understand Christianity.  Whether or not early Christians hated Jewish people, Roman citizens observed and treated Jewish people in a special way, and  Jewish people realized that they were special in the Empire where Christianity was getting dominant.   Whether or not early Christians wanted Jewish people to disappear, the religion of Jewish people and their presence must have been admitted by Roman citizens.  In other words, early Christianity in the Roman Empire needed existence of the Jewish people to have Roman citizens understand what Christianity was.  Christianity and Judaism were the head and tail of a coin.

It is true that Christianity is believed to have been established to supersede Judaism; however, on the contrary, it helped Judaism and Jewish people survive through the Roman Empire.

But what if Muhammad had not been troubled over something and come into a cave of Mt. Hira for meditation, probably because his distress could not be solved by Judaism and Christianity at the time, where he heard words of God?

"Take my yoke upon you" - Decades Later They Found God in Jesus

Japan

Decades Later They Found God in Jesus

How can you know that God appears before you or God is speaking to you if He should?

But Abraham immediately knew that he was hearing God's voice.  Moses almost immediately found God in a fire of a bush.  And even Muhammad believed that he heard words of Allah.  Indeed great religions were started by those who had ability to see God appearing or speaking.

However, according to the Gospels, disciples or followers of Christ Jesus who were with Him for 24 hours a day in every week for three years did not or could not recognize that they were with God, if Christ Jesus had been God.  And, as a kind of comedy, Christ Jesus  asked them who they thought He was.  Would God ask anybody who is with Him who he or she thinks He is?  When God makes contact with somebody like in the cases of Abraham and Moses, there must be a specific reason and He must make it clear that it is God that is speaking to him or her while God can use any angels for each specific purpose.

Especially Jewish people were more religion-oriented people than any other people, specifically, in the Roman Empire.  So, like Abraham or Moses, they must have been able to realize God if they had encountered God even 2000 years ago, although Abraham had heard God about 4000 years ago and Moses saw God more than about 3300 years ago.

In the case of Paul, he heard voices of Christ Jesus but he did not recognize it as voices of God.  And Paul did not write letters claiming that he heard voices of God in his way to Damascus.  Paul should have honestly told that he must have more concentrated simply on God than on Christ Jesus, in a sense.  If Paul had thought that he was spoken to by God, he must have proclaimed and advertised it more loudly and proudly.  And, in the case, Paul did not have to trouble himself so much in making people understand who and what Christ Jesus was, because Paul had to only say that he had heard such and such things from God like Muhammad.

This ability to recognize God is the key to understanding the Christian Gospels.  No mater how much you have made efforts in studying and analyzing the Gospels, you cannot find who and what Christ Jesus was and why and how Christianity was established.

Only I can say is that decades after the execution of Christ Jesus, some early Christians found that Christ Jesus had been God, which established the religion called Christianity.  But why did it take decades for them to surely believe that Christ Jesus was God?  This is the true mystery of Christianity.

"they come again to Jerusalem" - The Q Document Showing Cynic Christ Jesus

Japan

The Q Document Showing Cynic Christ Jesus

What did Christ Jesus really tell?  This is one of big questions in today's study on Christianity.

So they have studied the so-called Q document:
The Lost Gospel develops the hypothesis of the "Q" source for the common material of Luke and Matthew not found in Mark. Mack develops the thesis that this was the earliest writing about Jesus, developed over decades by a community which he describes with unwavering confidence. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burton_L._Mack)
Specifically, it is argued that Christ Jesus was not a holy saint but a kind of teacher of the Cynic-type school.  Scholars of the Q document have fund that Christ Jesus talked about ethics and  justice more than theology.  The underlying document for the Gospels show, they claim, no intention of Christ Jesus to establish a new religion later called Christianity.

However, it was not to scholars and professors of the modern days that Christ Jesus preached.  Christ Jesus preached to poor men, poor farmers, poor citizens, and slaves who lived 2000 years ago in Palestine.  Therefore, Christ Jesus must not have taught any theological theories to those poor people using technical terminologies.   Christ Jesus did not even cite so much sentences, phrases, and words from the Hebrew Bible or the Old Testament.   Christ Jesus referred to the Hebrew Bible only when necessary according to circumstances or contexts of His preaching.

And more than that, the reason why people believed in Christ Jesus and found divinity in Christ Jesus 200 years ago was not only His words but His ways and attitudes in delivering teaching.   If you analyzed His words and delved into the Gospels so hard to find linkage to the Q document, it does not reveal atmosphere, passion, power, dignity, or glory Christ Jesus presented while preaching to poor people, which however  became the reason for them to believe that Christ Jesus had come from God.

No matter how much scholars and professors of today who have no religious sense and sensibility and no respect for divinity argue any issues on Christ Jesus, they cannot reach the truth.  Even today, the Pope sometimes deliver mediocre and boring speeches and announcements, but if you believe in the Vatican, these meaningless words of the Pope would become holy and sacred teaching.   But if those scholars and professors analyze those words of the Pope, they cannot find the core of the secret of the Vatican as to why it has survived 2000 years and acquired billion believers.    Likewise, if scholars and professors of today examine the words of Christ Jesus and the Q document, they cannot find the core of the secret of Christ Jesus as to why He acquired so many believers among poor people in Palestine 2000 years ago.

But it is interesting who wrote the Q document.

Mar 11:28 And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?
