The Core Message of the Gospels

The Gospels should be read as books on spiritual work by Christ Jesus but not as a fairy tale or reports on His worldly activities.

The main purpose of acts by Christ Jesus is to tell the poor that there is life after death.  And, the poor will be welcomed in Heaven but the rich will be condemned to the hell.

If any person without authority claimed so, nobody would believe in those words.  So, Christ Jesus had to first assert and prove that He was the Son of the God by performing various miracles based on His spiritual work. 

Indeed, if there is no life after death, the spirit world, Heaven, the hell in addition to the God and Satan or evil spirits, the Gospels are mere fairy tales or fantasies.  And, Christianity based on fantasies and superstitions cannot survive these 2000 years.

It is estimated, according to surveys, that 40% of Japanese believe in existence of life after death while about 80% of Americans believe in an afterlife.  Note that Japan is not a Christian country, and more and more Japanese have lost faith or interest in Buddhism recently.  So, this difference between the two countries shows power of Christianity and the Gospels or influence of the words of Christ Jesus.

But, even in the U.S., a majority of people look not believing that the poor will be welcomed in Heaven and the rich will be condemned to the hell after their death.  However, this is the core of the messages of Christ Jesus.

In Palestine 2000 years ago, people there must have believed in existence of life after death as even Egyptians believed in it.  But as Egyptian kings and elites tried to have rich life after death in the spirit world, people must have though that the states of rich and poor in this world must be inherited in an afterlife.  But unlike other Jewish priests, rabbis and elites, Christ Jesus declared that the poor will be welcomed in Heaven and the rich will be condemned to the hell after their death. 

If you do not believe that the poor will be welcomed in Heaven but the rich will be condemned to the hell after their death, you will not follow 100 percent of the words of Christ Jesus from the bottom of your hearts and minds.  Indeed, every evil and unhappiness in this human world come from the state of difference between the poor and the rich.  Conversely, if it was not resolved or addressed by Christ Jesus, you had better doubt whether He had true authority given by the God.

So, the Gospels are the books to present good news or a good theory to give hope and salvation to the poor suffering in this world by assuring them that they are welcomed in Heaven after death, since life after death is real.  In this context, the Bible says that those rich and happy in this world have nothing to do with the God, since they are rich and happy by accepting Satan consciously or mechanically.

        

It must apply whether or not you are suffering from the corona-virus.

Swedenborg and Daisetsu

Daisetsu Teitaro Suzuki (1870 – 1966) was a Japanese scholar and author of books and essays on Buddhism, Zen (Chan) and Shin that were instrumental in spreading interest in both Zen and Shin (and Far Eastern philosophy in general) to the West (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D._T._Suzuki).  Daisetsu also wrote some books on his study on Swedenborg (1688-1772), a unique Swedish scholar of theosophy claiming that he visited the spirit world while living in this world, as well as translated some works by Swedenborg. 　

When Daisetsu was young, Japan had opened the nation to the world after 250 years of isolation in a feudalistic domestic system under the samurai-class rule and was diligently taking in Western culture and civilization so as to catch up with the West.  So, as a scholar of Buddhism, Daisetsu was interested in Christianity in comparison with Buddhism.  It was thought that through his communications with American scholars (Daisetsu even married an American woman) he came to know works of Swedenborg.  And Daisetsu accepted the theory and assertion of Swedenborg on life after death or Heaven and the hell, although Swedenborg was Christian.  

Daisetsu was familiar with study on soul or spirit as a scholar of Buddhism, since Japanese Buddhism had been of course based on Buddhism spirituality.  But, according to Daisetsu's view, along with westernization and modernization around 1900 in Japan, people lost interest in and respect for Buddhism spiritualism.  To address the issue on this trend, he must have wanted to see what sincere Christian scholars thought about souls, spirits, spiritual world, life after death, the spirit world, etc.  And thus, Daisetsu found Swedenborg and praised his writings.

In short, Daisetsu could accept Swedenborg's idea of life after death, since Swedenborg showed a high level of ethics and religious integrity, although some concrete descriptions of Heaven and the hell in Swedenborg's works were foreign to Buddhists.  And, what is important is that Daisetsu could accept the situation that a living man could also enter into the spirit world and talk with angels and souls in Heaven and the hell.  Daisetsu thought that a man entered into life after death when he died in this world.     

Daisetsu, in his book, presented a theory that what is not life is accordingly life as such a relation is realized in the spirit world.  So, what is not death is thus death.  Denial of any matter establishes the matter denied.

It is also said that Daisetsu gave some influence on hippyism in late 1960s.  To access the spirit world, it does not matter whether you believe in traditional Christianity or Buddhism, but any man's soul can enter into life after death, although there are some differences about the states of Heaven and the hell. 

Daisetsu Suzuki wrote 23 of his 100 books in English.  He became a candidate for the Nobel Prize of Peace in 1963.  He is still one of well known scholars of Buddhism in Japan today.  So, most of Japanese would come to believe in existence of life after death, which Swedenborg presented in his books, if people know about Daisetsu's earnest study on Swedenborg, although materialism is common in rampancy in the Japanese society today like in other coutries.       

So, it is recommended to read and think about the contents of books written by Swedenborg, although they were written in the 18th century, since an elite Japanese Buddhist praised them.

There is a famous teaching by Christ Jesus called the Sermon on the Mount, which characterizes Christianity:
17 And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;
18 And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed.

Christ Jesus healed the sick and drove unclean spirits out of people, further assuring that the poor should be welcomed in the Kingdom of God and the rich and happy people should be punished but yet encouraging people to love their enemies.  

But if there are no super-natural power, evil spirits, and Heaven and the hell, etc., Christ Jesus is a kind of mad man.  

Christ Jesus spoke to poor and suffering people but not to rich and happy people.  Rich and happy people have wealth and happiness built on poverty and travail of poor and suffering people in society.  They do not usually have true sympathy and empathy to poor and suffering people.  Conversely they despise poor and suffering people, sometimes thinking that the God belles the rich and happy but forsake the poor and suffering.  Therefore, the rich and happy, no matter how much learnt they are, cannot see and find what the poor and suffering are seeing and finding in their lives.  However, Christ Jesus could see and find it, thus enabling Him to deliver the teaching that touched the hearts and minds of the poor and suffering.

The biggest joy for the poor and suffering was being taught by the Son of God, as proven by His acts, that there was life after death and Heaven where they would be welcomed. 

So, even today, poor and suffering people would accept the Sermon on the Mount, while rich and happy people should not feel real with it.  Rich and happy people are busy enjoying their lives in this world, but when they think of life after death, they will try not to believe that there is Heaven and the hell, since they instinctively understand that they cannot be welcomed in Heaven.  In most cases, their riches and happiness depend on science, technology, and rational behaviors based on their own smart judgment, planning and machination.  They do not need the teaching of Christ Jesus.

However, it must be impossible that this teaching of Christ Jesus has survived 2000 years, if truly there is no life after death, Heaven, the hell, etc. 

Without Heaven and the hell, there cannot be Christianity anyway.

The Words of Christ Jesus More Valuable than Money

Nobody yet knows how the human mind is generated in the brain.  Nobody yet knows how this universe was generated.  Nobody especially knows how his fate is decided.   

Without knowing what their minds are, people often deny existence of the God, life after death, the spirit world, etc., thinking that the God is what is generated in the human mind although they do not fully understand what their minds are.  It is as if he denies existence of his mind while using his mind.  It is as if he denies his life while living.

So, it is reasonable to believe in the words of Christ Jesus who is the greatest and wisest man who has ever lived in the human world.  The culture and civilization of the mankind in these 2000 years are owed to His teaching and His influence on the human history.  If you cannot be sure about anything important, you had better listen to the the greatest and wisest man.

The most important teaching of Christ Jesus is: I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live (John 11).     

In this context, life after death is real and true.  Even 400 years before Christ Jesus, Socrates and Plato presented their idea on death: Death, however, is a rite of purification from the "infection" of the body. As the philosopher practices death his entire life, he should greet it amicably and not be discouraged upon its arrival, for, since the universe the Gods created for us in life is essentially "good," why would death be anything but a continuation of this goodness? Death is a place where better and wiser Gods rule and where the most noble souls exist: "And therefore, so far as that is concerned, I not only do not grieve, but I have great hopes that there is something in store for the dead ..., something better for the good than for the wicked."(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phaedo)   

Therefore, we, without power of wisdom comparable with that of Christ Jesus, Socrates or Plato, should believe that there is life after death.

However, it is not only God's angels that are living in the spirt world.  Satan and every evil spirit live there.  If an evil man discovers that life after death exists, he would join Satan and evil spirits.  The hell exists in the spirit world, so that those who are not afraid of the hell must also accept the idea of life after death.  The knowledge about life after death does not necessarily improve evil men.  They might all the more try to be connected with Satan and evil spirits.

Nonetheless, according to Christ Jesus, the God has power to destroy souls in the spirit world, which means that Satan, evil spirits, and evil souls of men in the spirit world will be ultimately destroyed by the God.  On the other hand, God's angels and good souls of men must live forever in the spirit world.

Every man dies, but there is life after death in the spirit world.  On this belief, the mankind has developed their culture and civilization to date.  Without this belief, men should go mad or kill one another to go extinct.  But Satan has been brainwashing men with money so as not to think about life after death: the more men concentrate on money, the less men think of life after death, so that men do not respect, praise, and glorify the God.

It is indeed a poor comedy that Satan living in the spirit world is telling men that there is no life after death so that they should love money more and more.  However, the words of Christ Jesus are more valuable than any money.

The Most Important Scientific and Religious Issue in the 21st Century

None denies that he has his mind in his brain.  And, none also denies that his mind will disappear when his body dies.  But some believe that his soul will survive his death and live in the spirit world, although others think that nothing will be left after his death.

However this civilization and culture of the mankind has been built on the notion that one can be saved by accepting the notion that man's soul can enter into the spirit world after his physical death.  All the non-nonsense major religions such as Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, etc. take it as granted that there is the spirit world and life after death, which even the modern, advanced science cannot deny. 

Yet, there is a theory that men invented religions to conquer the fear of death.  Some men think that the mind dies when the brain dies with the body.  And nothing is left after death.  So, they will concentrate on this world while living in this world.  All a man has to do is, they think, enjoy life as much as possible by earning money as much as possible by no matter what means.  If everybody thinks so, the world will be full of severe competition, dirty tricks, mean betrayals, cruel attitudes toward others, unkind behaviors, and evil planning and tactics.  Consequently, the mankind will kill one another to go extinct.  Only the notion that one can live in the spirit world after death in this world, if one does good while living, can stop them from feeding on each other.  So, religions have saved the mankind from cannibalization.  And it can be understood that the belief in life after death is closely linked with ethics or encouragement of doing good against evil.

So, logically, it is insane to deny life after death.  And, it can be understood that Satan persuades a man to deny life after death and existence of the spirit world, while Christ Jesus promised that a man believing in Him and the God would get eternal life in the spirit world.  Satan would say that your life is only once till your death so that you have to be cruel and cold to others to earn money as much as possible to enjoy the life in this world, since big money can be gotten only by neglecting others, especially the poor.            

Here, death after life, good and evil, the God and Satan, etc. are all connected.  Indeed, if all the men were born with DNA making a man have instinctively and inherently the notion that there is life after death in the spirit world, none will be afraid of physical death and there must be no ugly fight among themselves.

In reality, some people come to believe in this notion after long and hard study, training, and education while others take it as granted on their own without being taught by others such as religious people or scholars.  And those brainwashed by Satan or drunken with evil would never admit life after death.

However, there are evil spirits in addition to holy or good spirits in the spirit world.  Satan living in the spirt world is the largest obstacle for men to think of the spirit world.  Satan in the spirit world would say to men in this world that there is no spirit world, and many believe in him, making every evil thing in this world, since they think that there is nothing after their death.

In this context, it is a big mystery why a man does not have such genes or DNA as would tell him that he will go to the spirit world after death in this material world.  Even after Christ Jesus taught it 2000 years ago, no such genes or DNA has been formed in the human cells or bodies.  This is the most important scientific and religious issue for men living in the 21st century.

Life after Death and the Corona-Pandemic

Christ Jesus clearly meant that death in this world was not the end for men, and poor men who believed in Him would live forever in Heaven while other rich men, etc. should suffer in the hell, which was so revolutionary that Judaist priests and those with worldly power were alerted so much as to decide to kill Him for securing their authority and wealth.  And, the rest of the story came to be described in the Gospels, and Christianity was launched.

Judaism had mostly focused on this world and life in this world.  Unlike Buddhism and other religions, it never depicted Heaven and the hell in details.  Since Adam and Eve were expelled, by the God, out of the paradise where eternal life was promised, focus of the religion was on this world.  So, people also focused on happiness of this world, thus neglecting others in a predicament, respecting those with worldly power and wealth, and increasing pain in poor, abandoned, and helpless people.

But, in the middle of this situation, Christ Jesus came to preach, in the authority given by the God, that there was Heaven where poor believers after their death would be welcomed, and there was the hell where rich and ungodly men after their death should go to suffer.  

Therefore, poor and faithful men did not need to be afraid of death in this world any more.  They became less afraid of authority of Jewish priests and men with worldly power.

To enforce belief in Him, Christ Jesus performed miracles similar to modern psychics and mediums would often do, changing water to wine, walking on the lake, speaking with souls, reviving dead men, driving out evil spirits, and finally ascending to the sky.  Christ Jesus presented power from the spirit world.  Therefore, belief in life after death became commonsense for followers of Christ Jesus.

So, the main theme of the Gospels was to reinforce the belief in life after death in addition to presenting the state of fight against His opponents who would lose authority and power in this world if all the people accepted the teaching of Christ Jesus that their souls would survive their physical death.  Especially, Satan tried to prevent people from believing in life after death taught by Christ Jesus.

If people think that no matter how poor they are in this world but they will be welcomed in Heaven after death to enjoy Heavenly happiness, they should no more follow Satan to do any evil things to be rich and happy in this world.  People will not be tempted by Satan into the cruel way of life neglecting the poor and weak in order to secure their own wealth and happiness.  So, Satan has been trying to destroy faith in Christ Jesus in these 2000 years.  And, as a result, people of today have come to deny life after death, regarding the teaching of Christ Jesus and the Bible as a fantasy.  Most of people think that there is nothing after their death, and Heaven is just a dream vision.

So, most of people of today sell their souls to Satan, psychologically or physically attacking followers of Christ Jesus and pursuing money, wealth, and worldly happiness.  In this context, it is no wonder that the God or Christ Jesus has decided to give a warning to people of today with the corona-pandemic.  The significance of the corona-pandemic lies here.

Anyway, if a man believes in life after death, he should not be afraid of the corona-viruses.

It is said that Moses lived around 1300 to 1500 BCE, while the Book of the Dead, an ancient Egyptian funerary text, was written from the beginning of the New Kingdom (around 1550 BCE) to around 50 BCE.  Some of the spells included in the book were drawn from these older works and date to the 3rd millennium BCE. So, there is no wonder that some influence from the Egyptian Book of the Dead is found in the Ten Commandments Moses introduced as given by the God.  

According to the Book of the Dead, a dead man must stand before a god to testify as follows to be admitted into life after death: 

He never hurt any man,

He never had bad friends,

He never committed harmful acts,

He never inflicted suffering to others, 

He never killed anybody,

He never produced injury to anybody, 

He was never guilty of adultery, 

He never scammed others to get an estate,

He never broke a bank, 

He never stole livestock,

He never hated a god,

He never rejected mercy of a god, etc.

Ancient Egyptians who built great pyramids believed life after death.  They believed that a god moved across the sky with the sun.  So, they must have built great pyramids for their souls after death to ascend to the sky and meet the god.  This belief of theirs is symbolized by those great pyramids.  The pyramids were built not to appeal to modern tourists but as tools for accessing their god traversing the sky based on their belief in life after death.  So, what we should see in those pyramids is their faith in life after death that must have influenced Moses.   Indeed, Moses must have learnt that gods loved justice and required men to prove that they were righteous so as to be admitted into the sprit world.  On this notion, Judaism was built and Christianity was developed.

Even Abraham is said to have once lived in Egypt:

There was a severe famine in the land of Canaan, so that Abram and Lot and their households traveled to Egypt. On the way Abram told Sarai to say that she was his sister, so that the Egyptians would not kill him. When they entered Egypt, the Pharaoh's officials praised Sarai's beauty to Pharaoh, and they took her into the palace and gave Abram goods in exchange. God afflicted Pharaoh and his household with plagues, which led Pharaoh to try to find out what was wrong. Even Christ Jesus traveled to Egypt with His parents when He was infant, which is the only account of His trip to abroad.

Herod initiated the Massacre of the Innocents in hopes of killing the child (Matthew 2:16–Matthew 2:18). But an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream and warned him to take Jesus and his mother into Egypt (Matthew 2:13). (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flight_into_Egypt#Prophecy_of_Hosea)

When Abraham, Moses, and even Christ Jesus and His parents traveled to Egypt, there were already the Three Great Pyramids, including the the Pyramid of Khufu.  Therefore, it is natural to think that they must have been heard why those pyramids had been built.  They must have confirmed power of faith in the God and life after death.

The history since Abraham must be built on this notion of power of faith in life after death.

If you were an AI robot with an AI super computer in the head, you should think that existence of a man with the intelligence and mind should be impossible, since the intelligence and mind of a robot working rationally and logically are based on its electronically constituted and configured brain.  

You, an AI robot, must think that the intelligence and mind should be generated only by electronic circuits and computer programs that a living biological being such as a man does not have.  Therefore, you might deny authority of men like some men deny authority of the God.

Indeed, Immanuel Kant (1724 – 1804) wrote that it was impossible for men to rationally and logically prove and verify existence of the God, denying spiritual matters, although Kant admitted the need for the God as the basis for ethics, morals, virtue and happiness.

Such AI robots are wrong in judging that men who are living biological beings cannot have minds that work like those of AI robots.  Human beings do not have electronic circuits and computer programs in their brains but brain cells and nerves that can work like robots' electronic circuits and computer programs.

The brain cells, nerves, and networks built by them in the human brain generate electronic signals, electronic currents, and electromagnetic fildes that can work as those used in transmitting TV signals to reproduce images and sounds through electric circuits and devices.  As an TV set can reproduce images and sounds from electric waves and currents, the human brain can reproduce images and sounds and make calculation and thinking.

It is true that there is no atoms or molecules that can calculate and think.  But an AI robot made of electronic circuits made of atoms and molecules can calculate and think to the degree to defeat human wizards at chess.  The structure of the human brain is much finer and more complicated that electronic circuits of the brain in an AI robot produced and designed by human beings. 

We have to admit that our minds exist and constitute spiritual spaces in our brains ultimately made of atoms and molecules that are mere substances and materials.  None of us cannot deny existence of his mind.  But, our brain is ultimately made of atoms and molecules.  The work of our brain cells and nerves and their networks made of atoms and molecules generate a phenomenon called a mind.  Our brain has structure equivalent to that of trillion or more electronic circuits or AI robot's brain.  Such structure of our brain and its work based on electronic currents and electromagnetic fields could produce a phenomenon called a mind.

For the brain of an AI robot to function rationally, logically and orderly, it should be precisely designed and manufactured by human beings using their intelligence.  But it must be difficult for such an AI robot to think about what human beings are.  Likewise, it must be difficult for human beings to think about the God, the Creator of human beings.

It is reasonable that the God exists beyond this material universe, since the human mind exists in the human brain ultimately made of atoms and molecules that are materials and substances.  What is more, some past philosophers thought that the God was existence itself.  So, the question as to whether or not the God exists is a kind of tautology.  "Does existence exist?" must be meaningless like "Does a man have a mind?"  Whether you answer in the affirmative or the negative, you are using your mind.

The God is above rationality and logics discovered by the human beings which can be used in denying or acknowledging Him.  Even an AI robot should use rationality and logics given and designed by human beings in denying or acknowledging their authority.  AI robots cannot see the inner psychological world or the spirit world within the human brain.  But men might be able to catch a glimpse of the spirit world close to Heaven above their souls controlling their minds.

Finally, the total results of human cultures and civilizations through the history suggest existence of the God.  Even AI roots should someday infer that human beings have minds.  And, materials and substances (or atoms and molecules) can generate a mind if accurately and finely configured like human brains.  But for such a mind to function orderly needs a guide or a soul coming from the spirit world above the material world to control it.

When Christ Jesus died on the cross, His spirit departed from His body:

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. (John 19)

Although His spirit would come back to His body three days later, Christ Jesus surely died at this moment on the cross as ordinary men did.

However, it is thought that the spirit of Christ Jesus just entered into the spirit world and came back to Heaven where He could enjoy eternal life.  So, His death on the cross as a mere man or a son of man seems to mean nothing.  Satan cannot destroy Christ Jesus, because His death in this world is meaningless for Christ Jesus.  However, the fact that Satan could kill Christ Jesus at least in this world to prevent His intention and activities to save people should have a significant meaning to men.

Satan intended to show that this world was under its influence, and even the Son of the God could not intervene in its dominance in this world if the Son of the God came as a mere man or a son of man to this world.  Perhaps, the God allowed men to freely exercise their liberty in choosing worldly happiness or spiritual integrity while living in this world.  Consequently, men chose worldly happiness, as Eve choose apples, as abetted by Satan.

In this context, it is thought that Satan's aim is to make men corrupted in this world and thus go to the hell or get hindered from entering into Heaven.

This theory is based on the notion that life after death is more critical for souls of men than life in this world.  Or, men live in this world with their souls to do a lot of good deeds so as to be allowed to enter into Heaven after their death in this world.  The spirit world is more important than this world.  This world is the place where men exercise their love to the God and their neighbors or do good deeds so as to be qualified for entering into Heaven.

So, it is natural that the death of Christ Jesus is depicted as "gave up the ghost" but not merely as "died."  His body gave up keeping His soul in His body and the brain, and His soul should ascend to the spirit world and Heaven. 

This condition should apply to everyone.  After physical death of one's body, his body should give up his soul that should enter into the spirit world.  And then, according to judgement, whether compulsory or voluntary, on his life before death, he should go to Heaven or the hell.

Therefore, Christ Jesus said to think more of life after death than of life in this world:

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10)    

To believe in Christ Jesus means to believe existence of one's soul, Heaven, and the hell in addition to Satan, devils and their subordinates.

It is a matter of course that there is the spirit world, Heaven, and the hell for any people who believe in any non-nonsense established religion.

In 1990s, a notable Japanese Christian author promised a popular female writer that he would come back to this world after his death and tell her whether there is really the world after death.

Accordingly he died in 1996 and came back to this world as a spirit in 1997. However, she could not directly see his spirit, but her friend who was a psychic consultant saw an image of his coming to her home and wandering her reading room, when he was talking with her by phone late in the night.

The spirt of the author said, "The world after death is almost like what we thought before my death, though, with some minor difference."  The psychic consultant told her that the author had been accepted in Heaven or into a higher level of the spirit world.   The spirt of the author said, "I think I have been accepted in Heaven because I was a good Christian, contributing much to charity, etc."  

Whether you believe or not, the dead author and the female writer could confirm that there was life after death, although they did not communicate directly.

It is said that spirits in the spirit world cannot easily come to or interfere with this world, or communicate with living men like living men in this world cannot easily visit the spirit world.  However, as Christ Jesus seems to have been able to freely go into and come back from the spirit world, there must be such a possibility even if it is very rare.   

For example, there is a bird, such as penguins, that can dive into the sea and swim there; there is a mammal, such as bats, that can fly in the sky; there is a fish, such as eels, that can crawl on the ground; and there is a primate, namely the mankind, that can fly in the space and visit the moon.  So, a man may visit the spirit world or communicate with someone in the spirit world, if the God allows it.

Anyway, it seems reasonable that a man consists of three parts, the physical body, the mind, and the soul.  When he dies, the body is destroyed, the mind based on the bran disappears, but the soul leaves the mind with memory of the mind to the spirit world.       

Christ Jesus did not tell how the soul or mind enters into the spirit world while the body is living in this world.  However, He said that a man could even move a mountain only if he has enough faith.  So, a man should be able to see the spirit world or communicate with sprits in the spirit world if he has enough faith or he is allowed so by the God. 

Anyway, it is not clearly shown to the mankind by the God that life after death exits, but the Christian Bible, the Islamic Koran, the Buddhist sutras, etc. are all based on the notion that life after death exists.  However, it is not really clear whether life after death exists for viruses such as corona-viruses.

Christ Jesus in and out of the Spiritual World

Christ Jesus performed some miracles and exercised supernatural power according to the Gospels.

Most of people, including Christians and non-Christians, think that they are exaggerated descriptions, since such miracles cannot be possible in real world.  However, as Christ Jesus seemed to be able to go into the spiritual world while living in this world, it is thought that they were real.

When Christ Jesus went into the spiritual world, He could surely talk with sprits and those living in the spiritual world and get necessary information about people in this world.  Therefore, He could see past experiences of people as well as what they were thinking.

Christ Jesus must have been able to see what people were hiding by asking spirits who had been in the minds of those people.  In addition, He could see how spiritual power or power in the spiritual world could act and work on materials and substances in this world.

So, the Gospels should be read from a point of view that Christ Jesus was a man who could freely enter into and exit out of the spiritual world with supernatural power given by the God.

In this context, Christ Jesus must not have been afraid of His own death in this world, since He could continue to live in the spiritual world after His death in this world.  So then, why was He depicted as a man who agonized  over the crucifixion?  He had supernatural power even to destroy Satan.  But He became a victim of those who had worldly power but had been brainwashed by Satan.  

At least, it is thought that Christ Jesus forgave human beings who were brainwashed by Satan to follow it and do every evil thing, thus showing great love to human beings.  But when He entered into the spiritual world after the crucifixion, Christ Jesus must have punished and destroyed Satan.

However, devils under Satan must still survive in this world or another Satan must have emerged, still trying to degrade and corrupt people so as to make them live and move against the God.  Although it must be easy for the God and Christ Jesus to destroy Satan in the spiritual world, they seem to like to have human beings destroy Satan by power of love, so that Christ Jesus showed an example to human beings as the Gospels reported.

Or, by fighting Satan, human beings must be able to become what the God and Christ Jesus want them to become.  Anyway, when a follower of Christ Jesus or a true Christian dies, he will be allowed to enter into the spiritual world and Heaven without a fear of or a worry about Satan.

Reality felt by a man depends on measure of precision when observing a phenomenon.  For example, a movie is played at a rate of 24 frames per second.  This rate makes a man feel smooth movement of events in the movie.

There are about 100 billion nerve or neuron cells and more than 100 trillion synapses or neuronal junctions in the human brain.  And electric signals are passed through synapses when the brain works as a man feels or thinks.  The whole brain may be regarded as a mass of networked micro computers that are never powered off since the birth of the man. 

It is not clear how many spiritual frames or units are generated per second in our brain while nerve cells and synapses are working in collaboration.  As every computer works according to a clock in the computer, a computer works through frames of calculation stages, and its operation looks halted momentarily observed in a minute fraction of period of time within a second.  Likewise, our brain should look halted momentarily if observed in a minute fraction of period of time.  

However, we never feel such discontinuation or gaps in work of the brain or mind.  We feel our mind works smoothly without time gaps, never losing its identity.  It is because there are so many nerve cells and synapses.  Even if they were all not completely synchronized, the time gap between working stages of the cells and synapses when no conscious is generated should be very minimal.  

Moreover, the brain only consists of material substances or physical entities made of atomic elements that cannot generate spiritual phenomena.  A substance or an atomic element that can generate conscious has never been discovered.  Even a chemical molecule or compound that can generate conscious has never been discovered.  Further, a biological cell that can generate conscious has never been discovered.  But the human brain made of 100 billion nerve or neuron cells and more than 100 trillion synapses surely generate conscious without discontinuation.

From this view, it is inferred that conscious is generated from working or actions of the mass of 100 billion nerve or neuron cells and more than 100 trillion synapses.  And, major physical phenomenon of nerve cells and synapses is transmitting, receiving, and handling electric current.  It is like transmitting, receiving, and handling of electric current in a TV set or a smartphone where visual images and sounds are reproduced on its screen, etc.  Electromagnetic fields generated in the brain with flow of electric current, though very minute, under control of a soul should work as electronic circuits in a TV set or smartphone to reproduce images and sounds from electric signals.  

As long as electric power and signals are provided for a TV set or a smartphone, it functions, reproducing images and sounds.  Similarly, as long as a man lives and oxygen contained in blood is provided for the brain, it continues to work like a computer system that is never powered off.  And, electric currents continue to flow in the brain, generating small but complicated electromagnetic fields whose existence is never interrupted, forming the basis of human conscious and mind.

However, it must not be possible that only one nerve cell or a few synapses can also generate electromagnetic fields working as the basis of human conscious and mind.  For the brain to generate human conscious and mind, it should need 100 billion nerve or neuron cells and more than 100 trillion synapses that are electrically networked and integrated.  As a human body consists of about 50 trillion cells, its mind needs electrically networked and integrated 100 billion nerve or neuron cells and more than 100 trillion synapses whose number of possible combinations in their network surpasses the number of whole stars in the universe beyond our Milky Galaxy.

So, to simulate a human mind, we may need networked 100 trillion computers.  A robot with artificial intelligence based on networked 100 trillion processors should work and function to show a kind of conscious and mind that can be perceived as a human mind by a man. 

That is why I assume that such robots will take over the earth from human beings in future, say, in hundreds of years.  They should think, feel, and behave like men, although they must work as machine in every very minimum fraction of time.

Anyway, it looks possible, though not desirable, that human civilization is inherited by robots that are not vulnerable against viruses and pandemics such as the current corona-pandemic.  In this case, the earth looks like continuing the human prosperity if observed from distant stars many light years away.

Even if They Die due to the Corona-Pandemic

It is said in the Gospel that "But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered (Luke 12).  It means that the God can see you although He is not seen by you.

Everybody has eyes to see things outside the brain.  Observed objects are converted to electric signals that are transmitted through nerves to the brain cells where images of the objects are reconstructed.  But how can your mind see the reconstructed images?

The eyes are kind of digital cameras that transmit electric signals carrying electrically converted images from the eyes to the brain cells.  And the brain cells work as a TV set to decode the electric signals to show images of the objects.  Then, your mind sees the images.  However, your mind is a result of work of brain cells whose number is tens of billions or more.  And it is thought that the major part of the work of the brain cells is based on electromagnetic behaviors of the cells.  Can your mind based on electromagnetic force see images of observed objects decoded from electric signals?  

If you put a video camera in front of a TV screen, can we think that the video camera is watching TV.  A human viewer is needed to see TV.  So, a soul is needed to see encoded images in the brain cells.  The soul that can control the mind in the brain is needed to see images decoded from electric signals sent from the eyes.

The mind cannot exist apart from the brain cells, although some people claim that they have had out-of-body experiences.  But, as for the spirit, the Gospel reads as follows: The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit (John 3).

The mind is based on electromagnetic force bound to physical entities or human cells or nerves.  But the soul or spirt must follow another low superseding the natural laws in this world.  Therefore, it is natural that the soul simulates the function of the mind to see images of objects.  And thus, the soul must be able to exist out of the human body.  And as an angel is an entity made of the spirit, it can see a man out of his body and count the number of his hairs. 

When a man dies, his brain stops functioning, even, electromagnetically, and thus his mind creases to exist, but his soul controlling his mind can leave the body and move to the spiritual world.  In this context, the spirit of a man enters into Heaven or the hell as Christ Jesus mentioned: And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise (Luke 23).

Christians are those who believe in Christ Jesus and accordingly believe that Heaven and the hell exist.  Even if they die due to the corona-pandemic, they shall be accepted in Heaven unless they have sold their souls to Satan while living in this world.
