In these 15 years Japanese GDP has not grown in persisting deflation while the government has issued a huge amount of bonds. Accordingly, the Western Media, economists, and journalists all wrote in this decade that Japan would soon go bankrupt. And, they welcomed the rise of China so enthusiastically.

(Unlike Greece, 95% of bonds the Japanese Government has issued has been purchased by Japanese banks and Japanese people.  As long as government bonds are bought by its people domestically, the bonds are not simply debts of a nation but also assets of the people.  That is why Japan can economically function well with its outstanding national debts reaching 200% of its GDP in terms of value.)

But, in these few years, Lehman Brothers disappeared; GM went bankrupt though it is now on the old track; and the US rating is going to be pulled down. The European elite cannot laugh at Japan any more since it was not Japan but Iceland, Ireland, Greece, and so on that are going to suffer financial collapse.

On the other hand, China has expanded its GDP by investing money equivalent to half of its GDP into the real estate sector. Accordingly, it is estimated that local governments in China have nonperforming loans in total valued at more than $2 trillion.

Put simply, the end of economics created in Europe and the U.S. seems to be near.


SECTION I: Real Stock Prices

It is found that the "real" SP500 index reached its ceiling in August 2000 and is now at the level it marked around 1997 as the index is modified with the consumer price index (CPI) to be represented by the red curve in the figure below.

It is also found that the "real" Nikkei index has fallen to the level it marked in December 1972 as the index is modified with the consumer price index (CPI) to be represented by the red curve in the figure below.

For example, between 1995 and 2010, CPI increased by 37% in the U.S. while it dropped by 1% in Japan. This is one of major factors for the strong yen against the weak dollar.

Moderate inflation is observed in the U.S. but persisting deflation has become the norm in Japan. The economic situation is so different but something is common in this trend.

After 1995, the American economy was galvanized by IT power. Every office and home in America started to use PCs connected to the Internet. Many businesses and individuals found new frontiers where their initiative could be fully exercised. Online business flourished. Venture business was everywhere. Wall Street found new clients in large quantity connected through the Internet.

In early 1970's, Japanese businesses caught up with the U.S. in terms of electronics, semiconductor technologies, and mainframe computer technology. Japanese makers also faced challenge of oil crises to conquer them with technological innovation to invent highly energy-efficient machines and systems. This advancement gave foundation for Japan to enjoy status of the world second largest economy only next to the U.S.

Now, both the countries, Japan and the U.S., look like consuming merit they cultivated and obtained when they started to launch their economy on higher orbits in 1970's and 1990's, respectively.


SECTION II: Businesses

It clearly shows the magnitude of the burst of the IT bubble around 2001.  The subprime mortgage boom sustained a little business in the middle of 2000s but it was put an end to with the debacle of Wall Street in 2008.  US businesses are still in the aftermath of the 2001 burst eventually.  If total businesses are so weak, employment must naturally become so weak.

The general trend in the US money markets is as follows:

These trends show that the US experienced a huge bubble and its burst around 2001.  It was started around 1995 with strong support of the computer/Internet technologies.  However, Wall Street businesses and super-rich people tried to sustain their wealth by selling subprime loan houses to million of poor American consumers.  Even Wal-Mart tried to save its profitability by importing cheap commodities from China in a very large scale.  As a consequence, the level of prices of stocks sold at the New York Stock Exchange was kept over 10,000 dollars with huge infusion of dollars by FRB and the US Government.  In this way, Wall Street businesses and super-rich people have been saved despite the major fall of the US money market.

In other word, the US money market was severely damaged but could survive with Wall Street businesses, Wal-Mart, GM. etc., and super-rich people.  And, all of them don't care the 9% unemployment level and the state of Occupy Wall Street people.

A woman who was in Hiroshima during WWII married an American to live in the U.S. after WWII. She, of course, suffered the atomic bomb attack on August 6, 1945. So, when she had her first baby, she was anxious whether or not her baby had no physical defect. She soon counted the number of fingers of the new born baby to find five and just five fingers in each hand with a great relief.

Many Japanese from Hiroshima immigrated to the United States before WWII. (Actually Hiroshima Prefecture sent the largest number of immigrants to the U.S. and Central/South Americas among all the prefectures in Japan.) Their children born in the U.S. had U.S. citizenship, though many of such families returned to Japan as WWII started. After WWII, many of such children left Japan for the U.S. Accordingly, there have been some Japanese Americans who are also Hiroshima-atomic-bomb victims in the U.S.

On August 9, 1945, another atomic bomb was used by the U.S. military on Nagasaki City, Japan.

SECTION I: History of US Economy

We need some measure to apply to the Dow Jones index.

It can be gold.

Figure 2 captures this inverse correlation between financial assets and gold. As you can see, between 1980 and 2000, monetary inflation benefited the Dow Jones Industrial Average (Dow) and during that period, gold performed poorly. However, since the turn of the millennium, monetary inflation has benefited hard assets and American stocks have underperformed relative to gold. At present, the Dow to gold ratio is at 8.4 and if history is any guide, over the following years, gold should continue to appreciate more than American stocks.

Period A: After the start of the Great Depression till it hits the bottom.

Period B: The Great Recession through WWII till a new boom starts after the War.

From an international point of view:

Period A: The U.S. dollar is not a key currency. Only domestic market counts.

Period D: Japan and Germany have grown to be economic power.

Period H: Expansion of the global market, leading to job transfer from the U.S. to emerging countries.

In particular, through the Period C and D, the American industry grew, beginning with cars, chemicals, and electric consumer durables in 1950's and expanding to the aerospace industry, the home building industry, and the computer industry in 1960's. As symbolized by the Apollo Project, the U.S. led the world in the advanced technology. GM, IBM, and Coca Cola became icons representing prosperity of the U.S. in this period. Indeed, it is big manufacturing companies that occupy most of assets of the U.S. industry. At the end of 1960's, the average salary of American workers became 50% higher than than in 1950. This is the era in which the traditional mainstream value system of European Americans dominated. Though this value system came to be severely challenged by American minorities and new generations through the Vietnam War.

Specifically, through the Period C and D, the American technology led the world though the Soviet Union still posed a threat with its nuclear warfare capability.

Yet, in the Period D, the effect of the Vietnam Was came to appear. Financial deficit, tax rise, inflation, and an interest rate hike stopped growth of the American economy. Advanced technologies developed in the defense sector and NASA were yet to find their application fields in the consumer sector.

During the Period E, namely 1970's, the U.S. economy faced complicated challenges, though its development of advanced technology continued. First, old regime in the industry remained through the Vietnam War and the Apollo Project. For example, GM stuck to old-fashioned big cars while Japanese makers started to provide fuel-efficient compact cars. Oil crises and an increase in competition with Japan made clear the insufficient level of energy efficiency and productivity in the manufacturing. Though the U.S. financial sector underwent online computerization, the effect of computer power did not prevail widely and deep in the society. So, the American Government started to take new measures to stimulate and restructure research & development in the industrial sector.

In the Period F, the Japanese industry came to show mighty presence in the U.S. market. Especially, the Japanese electronic industry rapidly increased export to the U.S. The electronics technology those Japanese makers applied to their products characterized the trend of the era. Even the U.S. military started to use Japanese electronics component for their advanced weapons. Accordingly, the U.S. further changed its regimes and policies on development of technology in its industry. In order to compete with the Japanese hi-tech industry, the U.S. Government introduced special measures to directly and indirectly foster its hi-tech sector. However, due to huge current-account deficit, its industrial power looked in a slump, which was reflected in the Dow Jones index/gold price ratio.

Then, the Period G started with Windows 95, an operating system that first integrated the Internet connectivity into a personal computer. This system galvanized not only the American industry but the whole American society and individuals. Economic and financial activities in America were 100 times magnified in a sense. New wealth started to be created on the cyber space which came to surpass value of gold so quickly.

Now we are in the Period of H. It is characterized by the 9/11 Terror, the Iraqi/Afghan Wars, the sub-prime loan scheme crimes, and the 2008 Financial Crisis. To calm down Americans, it was even needed to elect an African American to the U.S. president. FRB looks like losing a chart to navigate the American economy. The magic power of the IT technology also looks like losing its leverage to mobilize American consumers' passion and creativity. And, American consumers have its credit limit shrunk. No matter how much they run computer software that takes the latest data from the money market, it won't give them any effective advice. China have taken any minor manufacturing work; India is taking any software-related work from the American labor market. The American unemployment rate in June 2011 is still around 9%. Wall Street and the IT technology do not look like creating more value than bare gold.


SECTION II: Hiroshima

The U.S. military sent several B29 bombers to Japan on August 6 from an island called Tinian located in the south of Saipan in the East Pacific Ocean.

Three of them flew to Hiroshima, Kokura, and Nagasaki to check weather conditions on each Japanese city. Hiroshima had a good weather.

So, taking seven hours from Tinian, other three B29s, one for bombing, the second for measurement, the last for picture taking, flew to Hiroshima to first drop measurement instruments with parachutes ahead of planned drop of the atomic (nuclear) bomb. They dropped total three parachutes with the instruments. Then the main bomber flying at 31,600ft（9,632m）threw the first atomic bomb ever mankind used in real war down to the central part of Hiroshima without a parachute. It blasted at the height of 1,800ft (600m).

Among 50 kg of Uranium 235 amassed in the bomb, one kilogram exploded.

Unlucky 17 to 23 American prisoners of war, at the time kept in military facilities or moved under escort in Hiroshima City, were all killed by this atomic bomb attack.

On the Japanese side, 15,000 soldiers and other military personnel were killed by this single atomic bomb attack on Hiroshima City.

Note: It is said that America lost about 400 to 700 B29s in the war against the Empire of Japan, but the U.S. military claims that only 130 B29s were shot down in the battle and others were lost due to malfunction. SECTION I: Early Vatican

There are four gospels that describe work of Christ Jesus as everybody knows.

But, to our astonishment, there are no reports or records, with the same volume and at the same level of description of the four gospels, about "early Popes."

There is no gospel or report about St. Peter, the first pope.

There is no gospel about St. Linus, the second pope.

There is no gospel about St. Anacletus, the third pope.

In the Ravenna Document of 13 October 2007, theologians chosen by the Roman Catholic and the Eastern Orthodox Churches stated: "41. Both sides agree… that Rome, as the Church that 'presides in love' according to the phrase of St Ignatius of Antioch (To the Romans, Prologue), occupied the first place in the taxis, and that the bishop of Rome was therefore the protos among the patriarchs. They disagree, however, on the interpretation of the historical evidence from this era regarding the prerogatives of the Bishop of Rome as protos, a matter that was already understood in different ways in the first millennium." In addition, in the last years of the 1st century AD the Church in Rome intervened in the affairs of the Christian Church in Corinth to help solve their internal disputes.

So, there are no gospels about early popes without mentioning subsequent popes up to the incumbent pope.

It means that the Christian organization came to have no saints that had power and authority comparable to that of Christ Jesus after the death of Christ Jesus. Due to power and authority of Christ Jesus, establishment of His four gospels were made possible. Without this level of power and authority of early popes, their gospels could not be documented. Even St. Paul's gospel was not written. It must have been with contents and details to be ranked with the four gospels of Christ Jesus, though his letters were collected, preserved, and recorded.

There is a very vague period in the history of the Vatican and popes till they consolidated their worldly position in a tie up with Roman emperors.

This historical fact really tarnishes their authenticity.

They were weak. They were fragile. They lacked power of exercising miracles on people. Accordingly, they would not be able to have Arabs follow the Vatican. The emergence of Islam in the seventh century was thus grounded here.

If early popes and subsequent popes had been so holy and powerful as to allow for compilation of a gospel of each of them, the Vatican would have had authority over Arabs and Persians so that no Islam was needed.

The current issues related to the Islamic world seem to have stemmed from this historical aspect of the Vatican.

Every 1000 years, Judea or Palestine have suffered a decisive historic tragedy. One thing sure is that we are at a decisive periodic point of history.

Recently three Japanese lawmakers of the LDP tried to check a South Korean island near Japan's Takeshima Island in the Sea of Japan. It is to see how South Korean authorities explains the territorial issue on site. They took an airplane in Tokyo on August 1. (http://east.tegelog.jp/index.php?itemid=10215)

But, they were stopped at an airport of South Korea. The South Korean Government did not admit them into South Korea. Anti-Japanese South Koreans were performing dangerous and violent demostration at the airport. So, after spending several hours inside an airport building, they flew back to Tokyo on the same day.

With respect to request of the Korean Government that Article 2(a) of the draft be revised to provide that Japan "confirms that it renounced on August 9, 1945, all right, title and claim to Korea and the islands which were part of Korea prior to its annexation by Japan, including the islands Quelpart, Port Hamilton, Dagelet, Dokdo and Parangdo," the United States Government regrets that it is unable to concur in this proposed amendment. The United States Government does not feel that the Treaty should adopt the theory that Japan's acceptance of the Potsdam Declaration on August 9, 1945 constituted a formal or final renunciation of sovereignty by Japan over the areas dealt with in the Declaration. As regards the island of Dokdo, otherwise known as Takeshima or Liancourt Rocks, this normally uninhabited rock formation was according to our information never treated as part of Korea and, since about 1905, has been under the jurisdiction of the Oki Islands Branch Office of Shimane Prefecture of Japan. The island does not appear ever before to have been claimed by Korea. It is understood that the Korean Government's request that "Parangdo" be included among the islands named in the treaty as having been renounced by Japan has been withdrawn.

Korea before its modernization and Westernization, which were though carried out by the Empire of Japan that controlled the Korean Peninsula, was not active in fishing in the Sea of Japan like China in the East China Sea or around the Senkaku Island. Everything was vague and ambiguous in their territorial claim on the Sea of Japan like China in the East China Sea or around the Senkaku Island. Though no nuclear panic has occurred around Fukushima Daiichi and all over Japan, tens of thousands of dosemeters are being sold per month in Japan nowadays. As Hiroshima and Nagasaki victims provided precious medical data, millions of people living around Fukushima Prefecture should contribute to nuclear medical study. SECTION I: CICERO

When Caesar was assassinated, Cleopatra and Cicero were in Rome.

Cicero took some major role in politics in Rome after the incident while Cleopatra returned to Egypt. The two were indirectly linked through Mark Antony.

After Caesar's victory at Pharsalus, Cicero returned to Rome only very cautiously. Caesar pardoned him and Cicero tried to adjust to the situation and maintain his political work, hoping that Caesar might revive the Republic and its institutions.

In a letter to Varro on c. April 20, 46 BC, Cicero outlined his strategy under Caesar's dictatorship. Cicero, however, was taken completely by surprise when the Liberatores assassinated Caesar on the ides of March, 44 BC. Cicero was not included in the conspiracy, even though the conspirators were sure of his sympathy. Marcus Junius Brutus called out Cicero's name, asking him to "restore the Republic" when he lifted the bloodstained dagger after the assassination.[45] A letter Cicero wrote in February 43 BC to Trebonius, one of the conspirators, began, "How I could wish that you had invited me to that most glorious banquet on the Ides of March"![46] Cicero became a popular leader during the period of instability following the assassination. He had no respect for Mark Antony, who was scheming to take revenge upon Caesar's murderers. In exchange for amnesty for the assassins, he arranged for the Senate to agree not to declare Caesar to have been a tyrant, which allowed the Caesarians to have lawful support.

Opposition to Mark Antony and death

Cicero and Antony then became the two leading men in Rome; Cicero as spokesman for the Senate and Antony as consul, leader of the Caesarian faction, and unofficial executor of Caesar's public will. The two men had never been on friendly terms and their relationship worsened after Cicero made it clear that he felt Antony to be taking unfair liberties in interpreting Caesar's wishes and intentions. When Octavian, Caesar's heir and adopted son, arrived in Italy in April, Cicero formed a plan to play him against Antony. In September he began attacking Antony in a series of speeches he called the Philippics, after Demosthenes's denunciations of Philip II of Macedon. Praising Octavian, he said that the young man only desired honor and would not make the same mistake as his adoptive father. During this time, Cicero's popularity as a public figure was unrivalled.[47]

Cicero supported Decimus Junius Brutus Albinus as governor of Cisalpine Gaul (Gallia Cisalpina) and urged the Senate to name Antony an enemy of the state. The speech of Lucius Piso, Caesar's father-in-law, delayed proceedings against Antony. Antony was later declared an enemy of the state when he refused to lift the siege of Mutina, which was in the hands of Decimus Brutus. Cicero's plan to drive out Antony failed. Antony and Octavian reconciled and allied with Lepidus to form the Second Triumvirate after the successive battles of Forum Gallorum and Mutina. The Triumvirate began proscribing their enemies and potential rivals immediately after legislating the alliance into official existence for a term of five years with consular imperium. Cicero and all of his contacts and supporters were numbered among the enemies of the state, and reportedly, Octavian argued for two days against Cicero being added to the list.[48]

Cicero was one of the most viciously and doggedly hunted among the proscribed. He was viewed with sympathy by a large segment of the public and many people refused to report that they had seen him. He was caught December 7, 43 BC leaving his villa in Formiae in a litter going to the seaside where he hoped to embark on a ship destined for Macedonia.[49] When the assassins – Herennius (a centurion) and Popilius (a tribune) – arrived, Cicero's own slaves said they had not seen him, but he was given away by Philologus, a freed slave of his brother Quintus Cicero.[49]

Cicero's last words are said to have been, "There is nothing proper about what you are doing, soldier, but do try to kill me properly." He bowed to his captors, leaning his head out of the litter in a gladiatorial gesture to ease the task. By baring his neck and throat to the soldiers, he was indicating that he wouldn't resist. According to Plutarch, Herennius first slew him, then cut off his head. On Antony's instructions his hands, which had penned the Philippics against Antony, were cut off as well; these were nailed and displayed along with his head on the Rostra in the Forum Romanum according to the tradition of Marius and Sulla, both of whom had displayed the heads of their enemies in the Forum. Cicero was the only victim of the proscriptions to be displayed in that manner.

Put simply, Cicero was not a good friend of Caesar. Cicero supported the assassination of Caesar. Cicero shared power with Antony. But Cicero became at odds with Antony. Cicero helped Octavian, an adopted son of Caesar, to set him against Antony. But, Antony and Octavian allied. Cicero was labeled as an enemy of Rome. Cicero was killed by soldiers sent by Antony.

Of course, after this incident, Antony allying with Cleopatra of Egypt was defeated by Octavian through a big civil war over the Mediterranean. Therefore Antony and Cleopatra were forced to kill themselves.

Then Octavian became the first emperor of the Roman Empire. Then, Christ Jesus was born in Judea, close to Egypt, though 30 years after the imperial establishment of Rome.

So, this is the situation and what was happening in Rome and its imperial territory as symbolized by death of Caesar, Cicero, and eventually Antony as well as Cleopatra.

Yet, this is the vivid episode of the Roman Empire the most widely known to peoples of the world to date.


SECTION II: Cicero and Israelites

Cicero as an author gave a great influence on the European culture in these 2000 years.

Cicero was however neither Christian nor Judaist.

But if there are tow rich men, there would be two would-be rich men. And they will take two poor men on their side through an intrigue. Then, virtually there are six on the rich men's side. However, in election, there should be an internal quarrel, so that one will strategically join the poor men's camp.

In this theory, the American national election must look outwardly half and half, while its economy is still dominated by six around the two true rich men, including one politically associated with the poor men's camp.

Finally, if everybody pursues teachings of the God, however, 10 of 10 residents would be afraid of being rich.


SECTION I: A Strange Leper

When Christ Jesus finished a great teaching and descended from a mountain, there came a leper as if planned.

Enemies of Christ Jesus, including priests in the temple, tried to attack Christ Jesus. They wanted to prove to people that Christ Jesus could not heal a leaper. But, there was a big problem, since they knew that Christ Jesus could. He had power to heal leapers, which they knew well. So, they decided to send a fake leaper who was not a leaper at all but pretended to be. Then, no matter how much Christ Jesus exercised His curing power, the pretender could pretend that his disease continued.

So, the fake leaper came to Christ Jesus at right time when Christ Jesus finished a great teaching and descended from a mountain, being followed by a multitude of people. He was going to pretend that his leprosy could not be healed while Christ Jesus exhausted His curing power trying to cure him. Christ Jesus must be dismayed. His fame would be hurt as a multitude of people were watching.

But, this leaper or a spy hired and sent by bad priests had a different disease than leprosy. And, Christ Jesus immediately cured the true disease of the fake leper. Christ Jesus also ordered him to go back to bad priests to show them that Christ Jesus cured true disease their spy had.

As for the the gift that Moses commanded, it was the reward having been awarded to the fake leaper for his cooperation in this sinful scheme. The bad priests had said to the false leaper, giving him some money, "This is a gift from Moses to you for your great cooperation. Make some arrangement with this money."

In this way, the sinful intrigue planned by bad priests was broken by Christ Jesus while one sinful sick man was saved.

But why did Christ Jesus say to the poor pretender not to tell this curing to anybody while a multitude of people surrounded them?

It is because to save the spy from anger of the multitude of people who followed Christ Jesus from the mountain. If the fake leper told the truth, the great multitude of people would start to blame and accuse bad priests in addition to the spy pretender. There would be big confusion and turmoil. To avoid it, Christ Jesus told him to keep silent. But, He sent the man to the bad priests as a warning. This is why Christ Jesus ordered the poor pretender not to tell this curing of his true disease to anybody while a multitude of people surrounded them, which also proves that my interpretation is correct. Yes, He said to the man not to tell the curing of his true disease, but not the curing of the fake leprosy which also disappeared on the site at the time so mysteriously as the Bible reported.

Indeed, there is a stupid joke that Americans work for China, the largest creditor to the U.S.

But, truth is that China's credits account for just 9.8% of the U.S. national debt, while Japan 9.6%.

The breakdown of creditors to the U.S. Government:

53% -- American Domestic Creditors (12% by individuals, 9% by FRB, the rest by pension and retirement funds, mutual funds, and state and local governments)

47% -- Foreigners (9.8% by China, 9.6% by Japan, 5.1% by the U.K., 2.6% Oil Exporters including Saudi Arabia, 1.8% by Brazil, the rest by other countries)

It is because China has $3 trillion foreign exchange reserves.

But, the most of $3 trillion foreign exchange reserves China has belong to foreign companies in China. China's export is carried out by businesses established by foreign capital. The Chinese Government cannot use this $3 trillion at their will. It is Japanese companies, American companies, German companies, etc. operating in China that has this $3 trillion.

Economists who do not understand operation of businesses in the world make a big mistake, since they wrongly think that China has developed its industry without money and technology brought in from Japan, the U.S., Germany, etc.
