SECTION I: Fukushima Contamination

According to a recent survey or a recently released survey result by the Japanese Government, a village around the Fukushima Daiichi shows 10 times more radioactive contamination than the evacuation area in Chernobyl.

Even some cities scores of kilometers far from the Daiichi Plant show an equal radiation level to the evacuation area or the forbidden area in Chernobyl.


The evacuation area in Chernobyl has 552,000 becquerels of radiation, and the forbidden area in Chernobyl has 1.48 million becquerels.


This  evacuation-area level of Chernobyl roughly matches green or light blue points indicated in the map below of the surrounding area of the Fukushima Daiichi Plant. 

Those areas around Fukushima Daiichi are mostly contaminated by cesium-137 that has a half-life of about 30.17 years. To decontaminate the ground around the nuclear power plant, it needs $120 billion of government budget, according to estimation.

The past Kan Cabinet is accused of delay in releasing or concealment of these data about Fukushima Daiichi. Many Japanese citizens are shocked to hear the true state of environment around Fukushima Daiichi.

SECTION III: Noda Cabinet of Japan

Though the national Diet of Japan elected and designated Lower House member of the DPJ Mr. Yoshihiko Noda as new prime minister of Japan yesterday, Mr. Noda is yet to form his Cabinet and thus yet to be authorized by the Emperor.

The past Kan Cabinet is in charge of executing the governmental administration till new PM Mr. Moda completes due process for starting his administration. It is expected that new PM Mr. Noda will complete formation of his Cabinet in this Friday, that is September 2.

The Emperor shall appoint the prime minister as designated by the diet.

New Japanese Prime Minister Mr. Yoshihiko Noda learnt in a notable school to educate youths and citizens who wish to become a politician.

The school was founded by legendary founder of Panasonic, a Japanese electronics giant, in 1979. Among graduates from this school 53 are now active as parliamentary members. Four-year education and training in the school might have contributed to success of lawmaker Mr. Yoshihiko Noda. However, there are many Japanese who do not trust this kind of the so-called "elite political education."

New PM Mr. Noda leads a faction only consisting of 20 or 30 lawmakers in the ruling DPJ where 400 parliament members belong. So, he cannot decisively and maybe fatally stand against one of big bosses in the party Mr. Ichiro Ozawa who is said to control 100 or so lawmakers in the DPJ. As former PM Mr. Kan fought against Mr. Ozawa, it looks, he could not achieve any administrative success, resulting in virtually forced resignation. So, the situation is still floating in the Japanese domain of politics.



SECTION I: Democracy

First of all, true democracy means, say, to have 6 prime ministers in 5 years. Only Japan can do it. So, you had better respect Japan in this context.

If you can recall the U.S. President every year through a vote in the Congress, Mr. George W. Bush should have been denied his presidency by 2006. Then, Osama bin Laden should have been taken on by 2008 and the Financial Crisis in 2008 could have been avoided.

To have 4-year long presidency is completely irrational in the 21st century democracy. The U.S. should have 6 presidents in 5 years as the situation is so grave in these years.


SECTION II: Fukushima Prefecture Land Contamination

Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology issued a report on radioactive contamination of land of Fukushima Prefecture where a big nuclear power plant accident occurred in the wake of the great earthquake/tsunami of March 11, 2011.

The above map shows the state of Cesium 137 ground pollution in the area within 100 km of Fukushima Daiichi.

Paddy rice fields around the Daiichi nuclear power station are strongly contaminated, Many farm families are not only forced to abandon rice growing this year but also to leave their house and villages due to strong dosages in the environment. Total 80,000 citizens around the Daiichi plant have been evacuated to live in towns and cities far from the nuclear site.

Appendix. Imperial Navy's Attack on US West Coast in WWII

On September 9, 1942, a Japanese Yokosuka E14Y floatplane launched from a Japanese submarine and dropped two incendiary bombs with the intention of starting a forest fire. Thanks to a group of fire lookouts and favorable weather conditions the damage done by the attack was minor. The attack was the first time the continental United States was bombed by an enemy aircraft.

It has been decided today that the Japanese governing party DPJ is going to elect lawmaker Mr. Yoshihiko Noda, the incumbent Minister of Finance, as the next prime minister of Japan tomorrrow.

In the party election held today to choose their new head, lawmakers of the DPJ elected Mr. Noda with 215 votes against the major contender Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry Mr. Banri Kaieda who got 177 votes. In the final official step, Mr. Noda needs to be elected in a vote in the Lower House of the national Diet. Incidentally, the most popular candidate Mr. Seiji Maehara could not even proceed to the final vote in the party election.

In this context, Japan is unique. Indeed, when Japan closed itself to the outer world from the early 17th century to the middle of the 19th century, it had a population of only about 30 million. Now Japan has 125 million population to feed. Japan has to import a great amount of foods from abroad unlike other G7 countries.

And, in the period of national isolation of Japan, samurai governed the nation. And, due to an influence of Buddhism in this period, Japanese people did not eat animal meat, such as beef, except whale flesh. So, strength of samurai was rather related to whale flesh but not to beef.

Today, some Japanese people do not take the whaling issue as a mere environmental or natural protection issue.

It looks like part of a large-scale anti-Japanese conspiracy in some part of the Anglo Saxon countries.

The oldest written mention of whaling in Japanese records is from Kojiki, the oldest extant Japanese book, which was written in the eighth century. In this book whale meat was eaten by Emperor Jimmu. In Man'yōshū, the word "Whaling" (insanatori) was frequently used in depicting the ocean or beaches.

Food, Clothes, and Houses are needed by men to live a civilized life.

So, McDonald's and Wal-Marts provide necessities for Americans.

But, houses are not so easy. They were associated with subprime loan mortgages to eventually trigger the 2008 Financial Crisis. Even today, housing construction is a big concern for Wall Street guys.

As for clothes, America imports many clothing items from China to sell them at Wal-Marts, which helped China expand its economy and GDP. Eventually Chinese are now buying many GM cars and Apple products such as iPads.

Now foods and food tickets. They are items that really prove that the U.S. is the largest economy in the world. I don't know how many people die from starvation in America each year due to the lack of money.

Finally Christ Jesus said "Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?"

Truth of the Japanese Economy

Now, European countries and the U.S. are afraid of becoming another Japan.

In these 15 years, elite European and America economists have been simply laughing at the Japanese economy which has bee in deflation without an increase of GDP.

However, those elite European and America economists cannot understand what is the true cause of the 15-year long Japanese deflation. The answer is China. But, they cannot understand it while arguing some secondary matters such as money operation by the Bank of Japan.

As Japanese businesses decided to use Chinese labor force rather than domestic workers, everything started to go down in Japan: consumer prices, salaries and wages of workers, and even GDP. Japanese businesses saw intensification of global competition in early 1990's. So, they started to use cheap labor force in China instead of building new factories in Japan. Accordingly, prices of goods they offered to the world got lowered. Even cheap Chinese goods came to be ubiquitous in Japan. Along with this trend, products manufactured in Japan were forced to be sold at lower prices. Then, salaries and wages of Japanese workers working in Japan were frozen. An increase in wages was stopped. Japanese companies came to build branch offices and plants in China rather than expanding facilities in Japan to hire more Japanese workers, since labor costs in China was one tenth or one third of those in Japan. Or otherwise, they started to cut down labor costs in Japan, by reducing the number of full-time workers. They started to hire more and more part-time workers. Inevitably, the Japanese Government found that it could collect less income taxes than before. It led to deficit in the national finance. The Japanese Government was forced to issue a large amount of bonds.

This is the first part of truth of the Japanese economy European and American elite economists do not understand. If another world No.2 economy suddenly appears close to the incumbent world No.2 economy, something strange should happen to the latter. So, you must think that the so-called lost decade of Japan is not because the Japanese are foolish but Japanese businesses stopped using domestic labor force but started to use cheap labor force in China.

In fact. 20,000 Japanese businesses have moved their operation wholly or partially to China (and South Korea), hiring 10 million Chinese (and South Koreans) directly and indirectly. Without great infusion of Japanese money and technology, China today is still another Mexico or Egypt. (Even South Korean Samsung owes its success to Japanese engineers who moved from Japanese companies to the South Korean company.) Conversely, 30% of GDP in China is what has been transferred from Japan to China in these 15 years. So, this balance between Japan and China is resulted in the lost 15 years and deflation in Japan.

Put simply, Japan has fostered Chinese economy while undergoing deflation and financial deficit. But why? Is it only for global economic competition intensified in early 1990's due to development of the IT technology? Yes, the deep truth lies in the situation.

In order to explain the true state of countries in terms of their GDPs and their national land capacity, I made the following figure a year ago or so when I presented it in this blog:

You can easily see that Japan is very unique. Japan has the highest index obtained by multiplying GDP by population density. Japan has to decrease GDP or population to keep decent civilized life of the people. So, Japan has virtually transferred part of its GDP to China. And, Japanese businesses hiring so many Chinese workers have come to have a natural influence on the Japanese society, taking away from Japanese parents incentives to have more children. That is why deflation is going on, GDP has not increased, and the society is heading for aging of population in Japan. It is not due to poor monetary manipulation by the Bank of Japan as European and American elite economists discussed.

As I once wrote Japan has only the land size almost equal to that of California. And, plain areas account for only 30% in the Japanese land. In this limited area, Japan's GDP, namely roughly a half of American GDP, is produced every year. It is crazy. It will destroy the nature and environment. It will damage the spiritual base of the Japanese people. Japan had to stop developping its land, at least, with momentum and power it showed in 1980's and early 1990's. So, Japanese makers had to build their plants in China or even in the U.S.

In 1932 Cai Tingkai leading the 19th Route Army of the Republic of China's National Revolutionary Army strated to invade Shanghai under protection of troops of the U.K., the U.S., France, Italy, and the Empire of Japan.

Cai, commanding three divisions of the 19th Route Army, did not follow order of Chiang Kaishek, the head of the Republic of China who wanted no war with Japan around Shanghai at the time. But, Cai moved his troops on his own initiative. Cai requested salaries for his troops to be paid by Shanghai leaders, namely Europeans, Americans, Japanese, and rich Shanghai citizens. Cai also wanted to take any portion of wealth of Shanghai, a city which was enjoying the greatest economic success in East Asia at the time.

So, Tokyo dispatched one division and a few other brigades to stop Cai's invasion of Shanghai. Accordingly a war broke out but ended in a few months. Operation of Cai's troops were restricted to 15 miles off Shanghai, and the Imperial Army withdrew its troops to Japan. Representatives from the U.K., the U.S., France, and Italy witnessed the peace treaty, though Nazi Germany was still behind China's National Revolutionary Army.

The climate change might be considered in the analogy of a pendulum.

When it moves far to the right-hand direction, it will surely come back passing to the left-hand direction.

And, while it is in the right-hand area, namely the global warming domain, after reaching the peak, it is gathering momentum to enter the left-hand area, namely the global cooling domain.

So, when an global cooling era starts gradually, the degree of climate instability must be large as it is passing through the the global warming domain with full momentum.

Hurricane Irene might be one of such phenomena. Global cooling might be following her with momentum. They must be all heralding the Second Coming of Christ Jesus around 2010.

By the way, an election to elect the new head of the ruling DPJ has started in Japan. The winner will be appointed to the new prime minister of Japan in the national Diet, soon.

The two candidates, Mr. Seiji Maehara and Mr. Banri Kaieda are expected to compete decisively among five candidates, since they are a former foreign minister and an incumbent Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, respectively. Incidentally, Prime Minister Mr. Kan is supporting Mr. Maehara while former PM Mr. Hatoyama is backing Mr. Kaieda. And, the key politician Mr. Ozawa has tied up with Mr. Hatoyama to give Mr. Kaieda any sort of boosts, though Mr. Ozawa is under indictment for illegal political fund handling.

So, a political hurricane is raging in Tokyo, indeed.

2. For the first time, it was observed that a black hole is taking a star into its mysterious domain. The rare space phenomenon was studied in cooperation with Japan and the U.S.

The Monitor of All-sky X-ray Image (MAXI) on Kibo, in coordination with the gamma-ray burst satellite Swift (USA), observed the instant that a massive black hole swallowed a star for the first time in the world, located in the center of a galaxy 3.9 billion light years away. This result was published in Nature online, issued on August 25 Japan time. The title of the paper is "Relativistic Jet Activity from the Tidal Disruption of a Star by a Massive Black Hole".

3. Japanese Electric Giant Hitachi is going to tie up with the local government of Saskatchewan, Canad, in development of nuclear technology directed to small-sized power generation and medical applications.

Canada is one of the largest producers of Uranium. The state of Saskatchewan is the center of Canadian uranium mining.


SECTION II: Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia

There is a big difference between civilization developed in ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt, though skills of agriculture are believed to have been brought to the Nile river region from the Euphrates river valley.

Mesopotamia, unfortunately, did not have a seasonal flooding from the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, which would force them to create an organized agricultural system. This would explain their negative view of the afterlife and the general mood of the gods. Egypt, nevertheless, stood along the fertile soils of the Nile River valley, which provided a familiarized flooding. This allowed the Egyptians to see the universe as orderly and beneficial. So sacred this afterlife that they believed in preserving the body at death for the journey to the afterlife by the process of mummification. The Mesopotamians, fearing to disappoint the gods, believed that their purpose was to serve the gods and thus religion played a more important role in government. Priests, for example, were much more prominent than in Egypt. No matter the situation, both civilizations thrived in agriculture.

Under Saddam Hussein's administration, the Iraqi people lived outwardly peacefully. Under Mr. Mubarak's administration, the Egyptian people lived outwardly peacefully. Under Mr. Gaddafi's administration, the Libyan people lived outwardly in peace. But, revolution is going on with some precious sacrifices and victims.

Yet, Christ Jesus said not to be upset and afraid.

Nonetheless, Allah is God of wrath.


SECTION I: UR

I have asserted in these years that Christ Jesus is one of descendants of great Abraham; Great Abraham is a member of the Sumerians who built Mesopotamian Civilization.

Accordingly, all the Judaists of the past and today and Christ Jesus Himself are descendants of the Sumerians who built the first human urban civilization in Mesopotamia 6000 years ago. Some traits of the ancient Sumerians must be observed in all the Judaists of the past and today and Christ Jesus Himself. However, Christian scholars and professors never admit this theory. They cannot accept the theory that the Vatican is the last remnant of the Sumerian Civilization and Christianity is the greatest remnant of the Sumerian Civilization.

Ur is considered by many to be the city of Ur Kasdim mentioned in the Book of Genesis (Biblical Hebrew אוּר) as the birthplace of the patriarch Abram (Abraham; Arabic: Ibrahim), traditionally believed to be sometime in the 2nd millennium BC.

Ur-Nammu of Ur defeated Utu-hegal of Uruk and founded the 3rd dynasty of Ur. Although the Sumerian language ("Emegir") was again made official, Sumerian identity was already in decline, as the population became continually more and more Semiticised.

The most important thing is what was happening when the family of Abraham started to leave Ur or started to leave the 3rd Dynasty of Ur.  So, the 3rd Dynasty of Ur must be focused on.

Abraham was born in Ur c1996 B.C. Ur was one of the major cities of Sumer (home of the Sumerians) which is located in the south of modern day Iraq. 

Abraham was 75 years old before receiving God's calling in Haran. Haran (now Harran) is some 1000km north west of Ur in north western Mesopotamia. 

From the age of 75 Abraham spent the next 100 years travelling south west through Damascus and Shechern before reaching Zoan. From Zoan he travelled north east to Hebron where he died at the age of 175. 

Despite wandering for 100 years Abraham never received the Promises.

SECTION II: The Last Dynasty of Ur

The Vatican has a long history. The Roman Empire and ancient Hebrews had long history each. But, Sumerians had a longer history.

Akkadian gradually replaced Sumerian as the spoken language of Mesopotamia somewhere around the turn of the 3rd and the 2nd millennium BCE (the exact dating being a matter of debate),[11] but Sumerian continued to be used as a sacred, ceremonial, literary and scientific language in Mesopotamia until the first century CE.

The Sumerian language is not a Semitic language. But Akkadian is a Semitic language like present day Arabic and Hebrew are. However, it does not exclude a possibility that Hebrews changed their language from Sumerian to Semitic.

Ibbi-Sin, son of Shu-Sin, was king of Sumer and Akkad and last king of the Ur III dynasty, and reigned circa 1963 BC-1940 BC (Short chronology). During his reign, the Sumerian empire was attacked repeatedly by Amorites. As faith in Ibbi-Sin's leadership failed, Elam declared its independence and began to raid as well.

Ibbi-Sin ordered fortifications built at the important cities of Ur and Nippur, but these efforts were not enough to stop the raids or keep the empire unified. Cities throughout Ibbi-Sin's empire fell away from a king who could not protect them. Ibbi-Sin was, by the end of his kingship, left with only the city of Ur. In 1940 BC, the Elamites, along with "tribesmen from the region of Shimashki in the Zagros Mountains" (Stiebing 79) sacked Ur and took Ibbi-Sin captive; he was taken to the city of Elam where he was imprisoned and, at an unknown date, died.

Of course the ancient city Ur, associated with Abraham, was situated in today's Iraq. But, Christian population in Iraq which was about 1.3 million before the US War on Iraq has now decreased drastically to 700,000.
