As the figure below shows, the number of hungry people has increased since 1995-97. The increase has been due to three factors: 1) neglect of agriculture relevant to very poor people by governments and international agencies; 2) the current worldwide economic crisis, and 3) the significant increase of food prices in the last several years which has been devastating to those with only a few dollars a day to spend. 925 million people is 13.6 percent of the estimated world population of 6.8 billion. Nearly all of the undernourished are in developing countries.

It looks like we had been living in a better world till 1997.

But after 1997, despite the 9/11 Terror of 2001, aggression for wealth mostly generate in Wall Street and the City led to a hike in food prices, though this trend was somewhat suppressed by the 2008 global financial crisis.

Anyway, Europe and North America are enjoying a plenty of foods while other areas are suffering food problems.  Is this what the Vatican can accept?

Great is Vatican or Pope? 

Many people wonder if we have not been given any holy prophecies about the Popes who ever came and were gone.

It is very unpleasant, to tell the truth, that we are neglected by Heaven while the God must know beforehand the fate of the Vatican and all the Popes to reign there.  We believers must be informed of the last state of the Vatican if it is to end 2000 years after its foundation by St. Peter.

- White smoke has appeared at the Vatican.  The cardinals have selected a new Pope.  The Pope was elected on the fifth vote. 

- Jorge Mario Bergoglio, SJ (born December 17, 1936) is an Argentine cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He has served as the Archbishop of Buenos Aires since 1998.   

- The newly chosen Bishop of Rome is the 266th successor of St. Peter and leader of the worldwide Catholic Church with1.2 billion members 

- Saint Malachy   (1094 – 2 November 1148) was an Irish saint and Archbishop of Armagh, to whom were attributed several miracles and an alleged vision of 112 Popes later attributed to the apocalyptic list of Prophecy of the Popes. He was the first Irish saint to be canonised by Pope Clement III in 1199. 

- The Prophecy of the Popes (Latin: Prophetia Sancte Malachiae Archiepiscopi, de Summis Pontificibus) is a series of 112 short, cryptic phrases in Latin which purport to predict the Roman Catholic popes (along with a few antipopes), beginning with Pope Celestine II. The alleged prophecies were first published by Benedictine monk Arnold Wion in 1595. Wion attributes the prophecies to Saint Malachy, a 12th‑century Archbishop of Armagh, Ireland. 

- In recent times, some interpreters of prophetic literature have drawn attention to the prophecies due to their imminent conclusion; if the list of descriptions is matched on a one-to-one basis to the list of historic popes since the prophecies’ publication, Benedict XVI (2005-2013) would correspond to the second to last of the papal descriptions, Gloria olivae (the glory of the olive). The longest and final prophecy predicts the Apocalypse:

This may be translated into English as: 

In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit [i.e., as bishop].
Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End. 

- Many analyses of Saint Malachy’s prophecy note that it is open to the interpretation that additional popes would come between the “glory of the olive” and Peter the Roman. Popular speculation by proponents of the prophecy attach this prediction to Benedict XVI’s successor. Since Francis’ election as Pope, proponents in internet forums have been striving to link him to the prophecy. Theories include a vague connection with Francis of Assisi, whose father was named Peter.

- Proponents of the prophecies claim that Pope Benedict XVI corresponded to the pope described in the penultimate prophecy. - Several historians have concluded that the prophecies are a late 16th‑century forgery. Spanish monk and scholar Benito Jerónimo Feijóo y Montenegro wrote in his Teatro Crítico Universal (1724–1739), in an entry called Purported prophecies, that the high level of accuracy of the alleged prophecies up until the date they were published, compared with their high level of inaccuracy after that date, is evidence that they were created around the time of publication. 

- One writer notes that among the post-publication (post-1595) predictions there remain “some surprisingly appropriate phrases,” while adding that “it is of course easy to exaggerate the list’s accuracy by simply citing its successes,” and that “other tags do not fit so neatly.”

And what I pay attention is the following matters:

- Pope Francis is the first Jesuit pope.

- The headquarters of the society, its General Curia, is in Rome. 

So, let's see how new Pope's being a Jesuit would weigh in this context concerning history and prophecies.

But in 1767, led by the charges that the Jesuits were too influential and elitist, Pope Clement XIV signed the Suppression of the Society of Jesus, which was enforced in Catholic countries such as France, the Spanish and Portuguese empires, among others. But the order was not followed in non-Catholic countries, causing the Jesuits to continue in Russia and its territories. In 1814, Pope Pius VII restored the Jesuits—but not all countries followed suit. In fact, Switzerland banned the Jesuits in the Constitution, which was not lifted until a national vote in 1973.

So, there is a possibility that this Pope, Pope Francis, changes the structure of the Vatican decisively, since he is from  Society of Jesus.

Finally he can be even regraded as another St. Peter from Jesuits, since he is the first Pope from the group; St. Francis is the founder of the House of Jesuits in the Vatican Kingdom.

It might be a warning, but I heard a Spirit said, "Human Church, Extra!"

Probably the Spirit said about the state of the Vatican.

I think it meant that a holy Pope would not be elected but still just a man who calls himself Pope will fill the position of the Papacy.

However, it implies that the end of human church is near, so that it is "extra."

Then, the God would act to change the Christianity once and for all.

Former Pope Benedict XVI might have seen a vision related to the prophecies of Fatima.

They say that Mother Mary appeared to young children in Portugal in 1917 to given them some messages which are called the Fatima Prophecies.

According to some experts, the third one of the messages is related to the end of the world or the end of the Vatican.

Since the revelation, the Vatican has been quick to downplay the significance of the prophecy. For one thing, Catholics are under no obligation to believe in the events at Fatima - they can take them or leave them since they are not part of church doctrine. Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, who was a prefect for the Doctrine of Faith and is now Pope Benedict XVI, said about the prophecy: "Those who expected exciting apocalyptic revelations about the end of the world or the future course of history are bound to be disappointed. In the end, prayer is more powerful than bullets and faith more powerful than armies." He seemed to be implying that the prayers of the faithful had deflected the terrible scene warned of in the prophecy.

Many Fatima devotees are not satisfied with what the Vatican has chosen to reveal, suspecting that they have either altered the message or not disclosed it in its entirety. Why, after all, were five successive Popes so reluctant to make the prophecy public? Ratzinger explained that the secret was kept because of the fuzziness of the message, which he said could by deciphered "only in the light of history." And when he was asked if the Fatima secrets pertained only to the past, he replied, "I think so."

Some Fatima devotees are not buying that explanation, however. "We still have a bigger punishment in store for us if we don't turn away from sin," said Christopher Ferrara, a spokesman for the Fatima Network in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada. Others at the center called the Vatican's interpretation "a whitewash."

By contrast, Ratzinger put a positive spin on the prophecy. "It encourages us by showing that even in a world which was half destroyed," he said, "there is a greater force and death does not have the last word. At the end of a century and a millennium, we were able to propose this text to humanity and to the Church in a positive spirit. It indicates that we should use the power of love against the power of violence."

Kathleen A. Keating wrote of the recent revelation: "The Third Secret of Fatima is still a secret. In the press release issued by the Vatican today, the public was made privy to, at best, a watered down version of one sentence of the true secret. This ridiculous revelation bears no resemblance to the remarks made by Pope John Paul II in Fatima, May 13, 2000, when he said that we are in fact in the midst of Revelation-Chapter 12, verse 3: And another sign in heaven; and behold a great Red Dragon, having seven heads, and ten horns; and on his heads seven diadems… I have a source, deep inside the Vatican, who let me know some time ago that what would be revealed today would only distantly resemble the actual Third Secret, that it would be pared down, containing very little fact."

Were the messages at Fatima prophecies of our future, warnings about possible outcomes or just imaginings inspired by the faith of three small children? Like most such things, it comes down to what you choose to believe.

The reward for “Baddest Pope Ever” arguably goes to Rodrigo Borgia, who enjoyed the benefits of having an uncle who just happened to be Pope Calixtus III. Thanks to his convenient social status, Borgia passed through the ranks of bishop, cardinal, and vice-chancellor, gaining enormous wealth along the way. In 1492, he was actually able to buy his way into the papacy, defeating two other opponents by means of bribery. 

Alexander was so corrupt that his surname eventually became a byword representing the hellishly low papal standards of the time. He sired at least seven different illegitimate children by his mistresses, and didn’t hesitate to reward them with handsome endowments at the church’s expense. When low on finances, he either established new cardinals in return for payments, or he slammed wealthy people with completely fabricated charges, jailed or murdered them for said false charges, and then stole their money. 

Not surprisingly, there is very little about Alexander VI that can be considered godly or even lawful. His goals were selfish and ambitious, and the orderly government he initially administered quickly deteriorated until the city of Rome was in a state of complete disrepair. The words spoken by Giovanni de Medici (the future Pope Leo X) after Borgia’s election are telling:
“Now we are in the power of a wolf, the most rapacious perhaps that this world has ever seen. And if we do not flee, he will inevitably devour us all.”

Now you know why Columbus must have reached the new world later called America in 1492.

In other word, the glory of Europe started to end in 1492 with Pope Alexander VI.

Now as there is no Pope in the Vatican, everything looks fine.  The long and great process of ending European Christian glory seems to be accomplished in 2013 with the last Pope, so far, gone.

Arrogant Europeans are not qualified to lead the world any more in this century.

China is out of question as you know their foolishness and selfishness.

The US is a kind of derailing out of the sound course of humanity as they have so many abnormal citizens and dangerous guns in addition to ever expanding power of money in the society.  Americans cannot provide nothing more than freedom for purchasing the American Money Dream.

So, Japan is the only option left as the Vatican has almost completely lost a glow of its glory and Muslims cannot conquer the challenge posed to them in these years.

But what is in Japan?  At least it has had a potential to make China a great economic power and allow South Korea and some other Asian countries to enjoy some economic success.  But more than that, it has its own spiritualism.  For this reason, Japan is outside the Christian world and other global religious influences, including the Islam and Buddhism of the South-Asian version.

Anyway, though Japan is the most industrialized nation in the world, it is the country that preserves its cultural tradition since the era of great Buddhist Shotoku Taishi (Prince Shotoku of Yamato Court; 574 - 622) or the era of Himiko (Queen of Wa of Japan; ? - 248)  or even since a king of Na of Japan received a gold seal from an emperor of the Han dynasty of China in AD 57 to be acknowledged as a follower of the Han court.

Yes, when some disciples of Christ Jesus started to compile Gospels, a Japanese king was recorded in some Chinese imperial record.  As on this seal some kanji letters were engraved, it could be regraded as the beginning of Japanese civilization.

Since then, Japan has developed its unique culture to date without interruption or changes of races of inhabitants and ruling classes for 2000 years with the imperial family at its core of the social and religious systems.      

So, the Vatican is as old and contiguous as Japan is in the history, though China changed so many times its inhabitants and ruling classes with many interruptions in these 2000 years.

Nobody thinks that the Pope of the Vatican has power to change the world today.

But, the most important figure in Europe in terms of culture, history, and religion is the Pope.

For example, if the Vatican was dissolved and the Roman Church system was abolished, European people would be adversely affected and lose power to lead the world.

So, it is interesting to see how Malachy's prophecy on the fates of the successive Popes has taken attention from some people.

On Monday, 11 February 2013 - Pope Benedict XVI (16th) said he would resign/abdicate by the end of the month, citing failing health reasons.

Pope Benedict XVI (Joseph Ratzinger) took the position of pope as one of the fiercest storms the Catholic Church has faced in decades - the scandal of child sex abuse by priests - was breaking. 

Of interest, there is one leading candidate to replace the frail Pope Benedict. That is Italy's Cardinal Tarcisio Pietro Evasio Bertone, who is the Cardinal Secretary of State. Cardinal Bertone was born in Romano, Italy. With the name Pietro (Peter), and being from Romano - could this be 'Peter the Roman'? Of interest is the fact that in the interim (known as 'sede vacante') between the resignation/abdication of Benedict and the appointment of the next pope (by Easter?), it will be Cardinal Bertone who will be called upon as 'Camerlengo' to serve as the head of the Roman Catholic Church. Some say Benedict favored Bertone as his successor...

Malachy's final words: 

In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock among many tribulations; after which the seven-hilled city (Rome, the seat of the Vatican) will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. 

It is striking that at least one pope had a similar mystical vision: 

In 1909, while granting an audience, pope Pius X leaned back and closed his eyes. Suddenly he "awoke" and cried out: "What I see is terrifying. Will it be myself? Will it be my successor? What is certain is that the pope will quit Rome, and in leaving the Vatican, he will have to walk over the dead bodies of his priests."
Pius's prophecy was fulfilled neither in his own time nor in that of the next pontiff. According to Malachy's vision of the Church's "tribulation," it applies to the successor of Gloria Olivae-the next pope but one.

A somewhat big meteor hit the ground in Russia recently.

And, the Pope resigned recently.

So, everybody on the earth saw the wonder in the sky and the mystery in the Vatican.

These must be signs of the Second Coming of Christ Jesus.

You have to think how you would abandon your life and follow Him, since there are such signs.

But how are the most pious people are feeling?

However, the God told me that He would not give any clues to what will happen in the near future to anybody.

You cannot be given an imminent warning or a short prophecy.

Suppose that you are a Pope who has suddenly become afraid of his own death.

Then you would like to retire as soon as possible.  You must hide your fear of death.

Or you might have a fearful dream one night.  For example, the Devil comes to you requesting his portion, saying that you owe your success to support the Devil has given according to a horrible contract.

Or otherwise, Heaven might send an Angel to you to tell you that the God is going to reward you soon for your righteous life.

In either case, you have to take care of yourself, since your time has ended.  You must not be bothered any more.

Nobody takes care of living souls in this world.

It is unbelievable.  It is horrible.  And it is so sinful.

If you were the Pope, you have to say everyday to the word, "Stop using money and live like Christ Jesus, namely a homeless man!"

Indeed, money is the top servant of the Devil, though Christ Jesus used some coins taken out of the mouths of fishes.
  
Essentially, what Christ Jesus recommended is to live thinking about the God as the most important issue in one's life.  It is so, because the God can create any souls in this world, including you.

China was once the richest region in the world when Europe was at the brink of fall before Muslims and Mongolians.

India was once the richest region in the world when Europe was not fully governed by the Roman Empire.

And, the Arabic world was once the most highly cultivated region when Europe was being reorganized under the Vatican.  

But without help from Japan, China could not revive in 1990s and 2000s.

So, then who would help India and the Islamic world?  The US or China if not the EU?

Christ Jesus called and led 12 disciples.

It means that He could find 12 pious persons.

But if you look around, you would know that it is very difficult to find 12 pious persons on the street.

Or can you name 12 persons who can be recognized as pious by everybody in the world?

Anyway, if there had not been 12 persons who would rather believe in Christ Jesus, there would not have been the religion Christianity.

And, if you met Christ Jesus today or tomorrow, would you rather follow Him?

Indeed it was called to capture people in the Gospel.  While Christ Jesus was God, He had to go and capture souls but not ordered people to follow Him as He is their Lord.

"Come and follow me" can be said by any old frauds, but it was also the word Christ Jesus used.

Truly He acted like a man in Palestine 2000 years ago to start a religion for mankind.   And He led 12 men like a leader of a religious band.  This image must be the Gospel itself.

Sheep and Wolves

Too many people die every day in the world in a tragic manner.

But every living man concentrates on his desire without minding the dead.

It is simple.  You cannot change fates of others as with yours.  So, you have to just see off those unhappy guys being killed in terror, accidents, crimes, and so on.  Be wise and try to get money.

But it is against teaching of the God.

Christ Jesus said to save others like you try to save yourself.

So,  every living man must concentrate on unhappiness of others without adhering to his own happiness.

However, Christ Jesus also said that you are a sheep while other are wolves.  So, a sheep must try to save wolves.  This is impossible.  You may think so.  If a happy sheep tries to help unhappy wolves, it will be surely killed.  But by doing so, you may turn an unhappy wolf to a happy sheep.  Then Angels in Heaven should be glad.

And finally the God will send Army of Heaven to this world or the spiritual sphere connected to this world to wipe out all the wolves remaining as they are to the hell, whether these wolves are happy or unhappy.

All the sheep will be rewarded in Heaven.   Eventually your faith will be paid off.  And you might not be a sheep anymore in Heaven.

On September 10, 2001, the US was just at its summit as the sole super-power on the earth.

But, on September 11, 2001, it was thrown into a spate of fear as the World Trade Center collapsed with part of the Pentagon

On March 10, 2011. Japan was still at its summit as the most significant economic power in the world.

But, on March 11, 2011, it was thrown into a spate of fear as an M9.0 earthquake occurred in the Pacific Ocean just 350 km north east of Tokyo and 15-meter high tsunamis attacked the north east part of Honsyu Island to smash the four reactor units of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.

Meanwhile Pope John Paul II died in 2005.  And finally Pope Benedict XVI decided to step down in 2013.

This is truly a series of events foretelling the fate of mankind in this century, since the new era has apparently began in 2001 or 2000 years after the birth of Christ Jesus who was born 2000 years after the birth of Abraham.

To live well and succeed in life is not what is supposed a man to do by the God.

Though it is very common and ordinary that people grow up to have better living in any society, but it is not what the God wants a man to do.

According to Christ Jesus, a man is required to follow the teaching of the God and love his neighbors as he loves himself.  Therefore he must allow his neighbors to live well and succedd in their lives.

Then, of course, there will be no wars and poverty.  If all the men had lived this way, there would not have been even Islam.

So, now as all the med have not followed this teaching of the God, what will happen?

One thing sure is that Christ Jesus now coming back to this world must not be pleased at all.  He might want all the ranked and ranking people to resign like the Pope as soon as possible to start a really new era.

The Pope is to resign.

It is very extraordinary.  It must be reviewed spiritually more carefully.

It may be a sign of the end of the glory of Europe.

Indeed while G20 member countries have sent ministers in the Moscow conference, a 17-meter long meteor hit the ground in Russia, not so far away from Moscow in the global scale.

The world has really started to change, but you must remember that a half year before the death of the preceding Pope a big earthquake occurred in the Indian ocean off  Sumatra Island to trigger very big tsunamis which took on hundreds of thousands of lives at the Christmas time of 2004.

The sign in the sky; the wonder on the ground; and the time is shifting really.

If you have three able men, how would you handle them?

Suppose that each man has reliability in work of 100 operations at a ratio of 99%.  It means each of them might make a mistake once in 100 operations at a probability of 1%.

You order them to accomplish a task needing 300 operations of any sort.   But you tell each one to work for jut 100 operations.  The first one does his job for 100 operations and then pass it to the next one.  The second one does his job for next 100 operations to pass it to the last man.

In this case, a probability of occurrence of an error is 1 - (0.99 x 0.99 x 0.99) =  0.0297.  A possibility that this task jointly tackled cannot be perfectly accomplished is 2.97%.

Now there is another group of three men whose reliability of 300 operations is 90%, 85%, and 80%, respectively.  It means even the best of them might make a mistake once in 300 operations at a probability of 10%.

But, if you make them do the same task you ordered to the first group, they can do better.

You make these three mediocre men tackle the task in parallel for 300 operations for each.  Each man does the whole task of 300 operations alone separately but simultaneously.  

Then a probability that you cannot get a perfectly accomplished task at all from any of these three men is 0.1 x 0.15 x 0.2 = 0.003, namely 0.3%.

So, if you want one perfectly accomplished task with three men in charge, you should not have three excellent men divide the task and each of them take one third.  If they work in series, relaying the task, the task will fail in a probability at about 3%.

But if you have three mediocre man get engaged each in the whole task independently or in parallel, all the tasks will fail in a probability only at about 0.3%.

In other word, we need two or more men who can work for long hours at mediocre reliability than the same number of guys who can work only for short hours even if at excellent reliability.

To make sure, of course, the former case comprises 300 operations in total, but the latter involves 900 operations in total, which is called redundancy.
