Uncertainty Principle, Spiritual Free Will, and God

In the modern physics, nothing is pre-determined in principle in this material world.

Elemental particles that constitute atomic nuclei and electrons that constitute atoms have not pre-determined positions, velocity, and  kinetic momentum.  These parameters are determined only when observed by human beings or through interference by other physical energy.

Therefor everything in this world that is composed of atoms has no pre-determined positions, velocity, and kinetic momentum in the precise sense, though in a macro scale we can calculate, say, the position, the velocity, and the kinetic momentum of the moon.

Therefore, it is denied that everything can be predicted if we can get all information of its physical properties and conditions, such as the position, the velocity, and the kinetic momentum, since in principle we cannot get such information.  However, in a macro scale, we can almost tell which side a tossed up coin would show when it falls on the ground if we can get information of physical properties and conditions of the coin and the fingers of a man who tossed it up.

When a man throws a coin, it is physically difficult to explain why the coin suddenly flies in the air.  It is only caused by the movement of the hands of a man who holds the coin.  And no physical force has worked on the man.  His hand moves as he thinks to throw the coin in the air.  So, the physical phenomenon that a coin is flying in the air is caused by the man's thinking.

Man's thinking is considered to be work of electric signals in his brain.  So, this work of the electric signals in his brain causes the coin to fly in the air.  But can energy is preserved through this process?

Or when a man decides to fire a gun in his hand, his deciding to pull the trigger turns to explosion of powder and flying of a bullet in the air at high speed.  Is the energy in his brain of deciding to trigger the gun balanced with the explosion of powder and the movement of the bullet?

And from the beginning, how does a man come to decide to pull the trigger of a gun?  Do electronic signals in his brain explain the work of his mind and this decision of firing the gun?

There is widely believed that a man has free will.  By thinking differently, he can change his life.  And, how he thinks on each occasion and at any moment is not pre-determined.

This notion is supported by the modern physics.  Even every atom in his brain, which generates or transfer electric signals, is in principle not pre-determined about its position, velocity, and kinetic momentum.  Therefor the brain consisting of atoms does not work in a pre-determined manner.  But who observes work of the atoms in the brain that control electric signals that turn to man's thinking in the brain?  Until they are observed or interfered, atoms and electric signals in the brain cannot take a defined state.

The answer is that there is the spiritual world above the physical and material world.  The human spirit in the spiritual world of a man living in the material world must observe and interfere with the state of his brain to determine position, velocity, and kinetic momentum of every atom in his brain.  So, the man comes to have a concrete state of electric signals in his brain and thus he can think and decide at his free will.  But this free will does not belong to this material world.  It belongs to the spiritual world.

Put simply, for man's spirit to exercises his free will and to embody the will in his brain and body, all the atoms in his brain must follow the uncertainty principle of the modern physics.  Conversely, as elemental particles and atoms follow the uncertainty principle of the modern physics, spirit of every human being, as well as every living thing, can exercise its power in a form of free will in the material world though its interference with atoms in his brain.

The uncertainty principle of the modern physics essentially makes possible the free will of human beings, ultimately leading to the proof of existence of the spiritual world.

However, there is a possibility that God might beforehand decide every work of spirit in the spiritual world.  Or God might set more sophisticated law in the spiritual world.

Anyway, when God observes any elemental particles, electrons, or atoms, they will take determined states even according to the uncertainty principle of the modern physics.  In this way, God can work miracles.

In other world, the uncertainty principle supports an idea that a miracle can occur when God, Christ Jesus, or some spirit interferes with elemental particles, atoms, and material in the nature around human beings.

For Christianity to Become Complete

By what can Christianity be measured in terms of its truthfulness?

We may judge it by the attitudes of followers of the religion toward their enemies or Judaists.  Christ Jesus did not accuse Judaists as a whole.  He did not curse them.  Christ Jesus just condemned false Judaists who did not believe in God.

So, followers of Christ Jesus have no reason to attack and oppress Judaists, but actually they have done it all through the long history of Christianity.

While followers of Christianity, the religions that put its base on teaching by Christ Jesus, discriminate against Judaists or attack and oppress them, the religion Christianity itself is not complete, though the Gospels might be holy.

In this context, as the Holocaust in the 20th century showed, Christianity was not complete till the 20th century.  If we see, for example, that a Judaist becomes US president, we may think that Christianity has come close to its completion.

But what about relationship of Christians with Muslims?  Christ Jesus told that after He was ascending to Heaven, God would send a holy spirit or Christ Jesus again to this world.  In this context, Islam could be the holy spirit that Christ Jesus promised.  

So, there is a possibility that Islam was given to the mankind to complement Christianity that could not be complete alone since followers of Christianity started to discriminate against Judaists at the time of the emergence of Islam.

Maybe, for Christianity to become complete, it needed Islam.  But, to date there have been no such efforts of Christians as trying to learn lessons from Islam to make Christianity complete.

At least, there is one thing clear that Christians should learn from Islam: Women should hide their hair by wearing hijabs.  Indeed, women living in the Westernized and Christian-culture influenced world have come to look indecent with too much exposure of their bodies in the public.  Only Christian nuns in uniform look decent in this context.  But such temptation is a means for Satan to capture men and make them his slaves.

For Christianity to become complete, its followers should stop discriminating Judaists and lean from Islam.

Christ Jesus said to be kind to foreigners since your ancestors had been once foreigners in foreign countries.

Or it must mean to Judaists that they have to be kind to refugees since they were once refugees.  However, no Judaists in the world today, including Judaists living in the US and Israel, do not welcome Muslim refugees now fleeing Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc.  That is why this refugee issue is critical to the mankind.

From the beginning, Christianity was created as a kind of derivative of Judaism.  But, as time went by, Christianity prevailed in whole Europe along with religious and political authority of the Vatican expanding.  Emperors and kings in Europe also became Christians.  And the, oppression and persecution of Juadaists began.  It is apparent if the Vatican had not consolidated its power base to influence whole Europe, Judaiats should not have been so badly treated in Europe in these 1500 years.

On the other hand, Islam is also a kind of derivative of Judaism and Christianity.  But Muslims did not oppress or persecute Judaists and Christians, in a way that Christians did to Judaists, only because they are as they are.

Even among Christians in Europe, factional fighting was intensified.  Between Catholics and Protestants and among Protestants, Europeans fought fierce battles.  And, one denomination fled from England to America to become part of founders of America.  Especially their descendants formed Congregational churches that today have some influences on the Democratic Party.

So, Europeans or the Europeans race has strong features that they opt for making distinction clear between their friends and enemies rather than promoting harmony and integration.  In contrast, Buddhists, who have been mostly Asians, have been also separated in many different schools, but fights between different schools only for differences in creeds have been rare.  But, the issue might be deeper than racial characteristics.

One of the major reasons for Christians' oppression of Judaists is the Gospels.  Christ Jesus preached among Judaists and His disciples were all Judaists.  But it was also Judaists who betrayed Him and delivered Him to the Roman authority for His execution.  People learnt these things from the Gospels or priests who read the Gospels.  The Gospels can be used as proof that Judaists are enemies of Christ Jesus and Christians, if they don't believe in Him.  In this context, the most responsible thing for discrimination of Judaists is the Gospels.

Put simply, the ultimate solution to the discrimination of Judaists is total revision of the Gospels.  Now, it is the 21st century, so it must be time to totally revise the Gospels.  But who can be authorized by Christ Jesus to rewrite the Gospels?

And then, after the total renewal of the contents of the Gospels, the new Gospels and the Koran should be integrated.  A unified holy book should be formulated and adopted by Judaists, Christians and Muslims.  Then eventually no Islamic terror will continue to prevail.

And, finally with unification of Buddhist creeds into the unified holy book, the mankind will have the one and only Holy Book.  One religion for one species is very natural and reasonable for complete peace among the species.

The Western Roman Empire collapsed in 476, though the Eastern Roman Empire survived till 1453.

It was in 1492 that Columbus first reached the New World or part of America.  It means it took about 1000 years since the extinction of the Western Roman Empire that America was found by Europeans or partial descendants of ancient Romans.

For example, the world 1000 years ago from today was just almost century before the start of the Crusades.  So, it is very significant that it took 1000 years for Europeans to turn their eyes from the Mediterranean, where the Roman Empire had hegemony, to the Atlantic Ocean.

As Columbus' adventurous voyage was supported by the Christian royal family of Spain, who had just ousted Judaists from the country at the time, it should be viewed in the context of development of Christianity.  Put simply, Christianity took 1000 years to fully develop in Europe after the fall of the Western Roman Empire.  And then, situations in Europe changed to allow Columbus to venture into the voyage to America across the Atlantic.

It might sound strange but it seems to reasonable to think that one of critical conditions for realization of Columbus' voyage to reach America is maturation of Christianity in Europe.  And it took 1000 years since the collapse of ancient Rome.

Indeed Rome was not built in a day, and Christianity or the Vatican that helped Columbus' adventure, though circumferential, was built in 1000 years.

It also implies that Christianity between AD 1 and 500, that between 500 and 1500, and that between 1500 and 2000 might be critically different.  Or the evolution of Christianity can be divided roughly into these three periods.

In the final stage of the Roman Empire, its capital was moved to Constantinopolis、presently Istanbul, specifically in 330.

Then tribes in North, Northeast, and East started to invade the territory of the Roman Empire.  Finally after the split of the Empire to the west and the east in 395, the Western Roman Empire collapsed in a century, though the Eastern Roman Empire continued further for 1,000 years.

Today, many Muslims have been trying to enter Europe through Turkey where Istanbul belongs.  The history sometimes looks like repeating similar events.  Like 1,700 years ago, still the region around Istanbul is a busy place for various tribes and people moving and passing by.

That is why today's great movement of fleeing Muslims might seriously effect Europe, a kind of heir of the Roman Empire.

Indeed, from the era of Constantinopolis or older eras, the channel between Europe and Asia could be a symbolic point for a potential that could shake Europe and Asia, since Alexander the Great also crossed the channel from the opposite direction.

The End of the World for Christianity

What does the end of the world mean?

It is not so common that a religion includes the coming of the end of the world in its tenets.  In this regard, Christianity is unique to claim the coming of the world in its tenets.

However, since the rise of Christianity, the end of the world has not come in these 2000 years.  Today, no serious men seem to believe in the coming of the end of the world, though at the end of the 20th century some apocalyptic theories were widely taken up by the general public.

The 20th century was a century of wars.  Tens of millions of people were killed in wars in the 20th century.  Apocalyptic theories were widely talked about.  But the mankind survived the 20th century.  The Soviet Union collapsed and China adopted the market-based economy.  No large-scale nuclear war occurred finally in the 20th century.

The 21st century began with the 9/11 terror, but nobody today seems to believe that the end of the world will come sometime in the 21st century.

And, for any individuals what is important is his death but not the end of the world.  And in these 2000 years, many Christians died without seeing the end of the world if they had believed in the  apocalyptic theory.  What does the teaching about the end of the world in Christianity mean to those who died in these 2000 years?

There are some interpretations about the end of the world described in the Bible.  It might imply the fall of Jerusalem in the war against Romans in the first century.  Or it might mean the collapse of the Roman Empire.

It is also interesting that Christ Jesus described the situation when the end of the world came near.  It means that Christ Jesus requested us to believe in the theory of the coming of the end of the world.  He requested us to live with a notion that the end of the world would surely come.

So, to understand the meaning of the end of the world, we have to live believing the teaching of Christ Jesus on the end of the world.

Then we may see that the end of the world has come but people don't realize it and the world itself does not realize it, either.  If so, believers do not have to live in such a world being ended.  The minds of these believers would leave the world.

The end of the world might mean that this human world gets so deteriorated that it is no more worth believers' living in it.

The world today looks like sufficiently being deteriorated with so many Muslim refugees living and moving around Europe and the Middle East, the deplorable American Presidential election going on, China's intensification of military power, etc.  From a viewpoint of Christ Jesus, the world must be ending really in a global scale.

If you don't see this end of the world for Christianity, you may not be Christians at all.

Tradition of Japanese Buddhism

Once Buddhism was under direct and strong management of the imperial court in Japan.

Before political power of Japan shifted from the imperial court to the samurai class at the end of the 12th century, successive emperors and the noble class had real power not only in politics but also in religion.  In terms of religion, shintoism continued to belong to the imperial authority even after the shift of political power to samurais.  But Buddhism started to develop in various ways after the samurai class took over political power from the imperial court.  The imperial court lost most of its authority on Buddhists after this power shift, though some major schools and temples continued to keep close ties with the imperial court.

In the Japanese history, the era of the first samurai regime is called the Kamakura Period, since the head of samurai leaders who started to govern all over Japan in lieu of the imperial court placed their capital in Kamukura, 45 km southwest of Tokyo.  The Kamakura period continued from about 1185 to 1333.

Before the Kamakura Period was the Heian era that continued from 794 to about 1185.  In this era, the imperial capital was established in Kyoto.  Before the Heian Period, the imperial capital of Japan was situated mainly in Yamato, presently Nara Prefecture immediately south of the Kyoto Prefecture.  The period preceding the Heian Period is called the Nara Period when the giant statue of Buddha was built in Todaiji temple in Nara.  Nara Period continued from 710 to 794.

In the Nara Period, many great Buddhist temples were built by emperors living in Nara.  But, some great temples, such as Horyuji-temple, were also built even before this Period.  Great Buddhist temples started to be built in Nara in the late 6th century, since Buddhism was first introduced to Japan in the early 6th century.　But the imperial court in the Nara Period built an official Buddhist temple in each local administrative area all over Japan.  It is said that as influences of Buddhists became too strong on the imperial court, an emperor decided to move the capital from Nara (Heijyo-kyo) to Kyoto (Heian-kyo).  As it suggests, Buddhism was so popular among the imperial court and in the noble class in the Nara period (though local farmers and the like seem to have still mainly observed primitive shintoism).  Even some emperors became believers of Buddhism, though the imperial court kept shintoism in parallel.

Therefore in the Nara Period and the Heian Period, to become high-ranked Buddhist priests is a way of social and political success for some people.  Many hopeful local youths went up to Nara or Kyoto to learn in big temples sponsored by the imperial court and become officially certified Buddhist priests.  This tradition continued even in the subsequent eras when the samurai class had hegemony over whole Japan.

However, as shintoism was also deeply rooted not only in the imperial court but among the general public, both shintoism and Buddhism were well observed in Japan.  And they sometimes shared same facilities in Buddhist temples or shinto shrines.  Some doctrines of Japanese schools of Buddhism were influenced by shintoism.  It was when the last samurai regime collapsed in 1860s that separation between Buddhism and shintoism was carried out in a compulsory manner.  Modern Japan started to put emphasis on shintoism.  Even the imperial court virtually avoided its linkage to Buddhism.

Today, there are no Buddhist temples in the Imperial court and no Buddhist temples are sponsored by the imperial court.  On the other hand, a shinto shrine is placed in the Imperial Palace in Tokyo and the emperor occasionally sends imperial envoys to some shinto shrines located in various regions all over Japan for ritual purposes.

So, Buddhist temples foreigners today see in Kyoto and Nara reflect the past strong ties between Japanese Buddhism and the imperial court, which is not observed today.  Put simply, as Buddhism was once officially and enthusiastically supported by the imperial court, those great temples were built and preserved to date mostly in Nara and Kyoto.

In modern Japan since the Meiji Restoration when the imperial court was shifted from Kyoto to Tokyo, no new temples have been built by the imperial court.  But revolutionary samurais who carried out the Meiji Restoration taking over power from the last samurai regime started to use shintoism as a kind of state religion, thus upholding the imperial authority and then consolidating their power base.  (On the other hand, the last samurai regime used Buddhism as a means to govern people.  Therefore, the modern Meiji government carried out the separation between shintoism and Buddhism so enthusiastically.)

Therefor Buddhism is more deeply rooted in the Japanese people than modern shinoism promoted after the Meiji Restoration.  The modern shitoism was passionately promoted by the Imperial Government before and during WWII as a main spiritual pillar of the state.  Especially the Imperial military a kind of abused this religious authority to mobilize people to wars.  The emperor was positioned by the then Japanese leaders as the central figure of shintoism.  The emperor had never been regarded more sacred than in this period between the Meiji Restoration and the end of WWII.  Some right-wing politicians requested people to regard the emperor as a god.

However, the modern shintoism linked to the state virtually disappeared with the defeat of the Empire of Japan at the end of WWII.  Most of funerals of fallen soldiers were conducted following Buddhism.  Buddhism became a kind of emotional support for many unhappy Japanese living in the post-war society and rebuilding the nation.  (American Christianity was also spotlighted for some time after WWII, since the US offered huge aid to post-war Japan and many American soldiers were stationed in Japan after WWII.)

But as the first official history of Japan, called Nihonshoki established in 620 was also a book of shintoism, this religion is older than Buddhism in Japan.  In other word, old Buddhist temples today sightseers see in Kyoto and Nara were rather symbols of the advanced culture Buddhism of the Heian and Nara Periods.  However, influences of Buddhism that deeply penetrated into the souls of the general public, including local farmers, of Japan since the Kamakura Period can be seen in the minds and hearts of today's Japanese as well as some big and small temples situated in various parts of Japan.

So, the Japanese mentality has long and complex historical backgrounds that Western scholars cannot easily comprehend.

A Tragic Samurai in Edo

Once in a samurai era of Japan, called the Edo period, there was a young samurai living with his parents in Edo, presently Tokyo.

He did not take any part in service for the Edo samurai government while his father was a samurai who directly served the Tokugawa clan whose head was the shogun of Japan presiding over the samurai government.  The family was living peacefully in Edo with the population of one million residents, including samurais of the Tokugawa clan and those of local feudal lords as well as merchants, craftspeople, and other townsmen.

In those days, Edo was the center of consumption, since the Tokugawa regime requested local feudal lords to live in Edo with their subjects, though they were allowed to return to their home territories periodically.  Therefore in Edo, there were many samurais coming from various regions all over Japan.  And, in the 18th century, one million people were living in Edo, which made Tokyo the largest city in the world at the time.

In Edo, various cultural products were created for amusement of citizens.  Some of those cultural products are today highly appraised as Kabuki play, Ukiyoe painting, cartoons, suhi foods, etc.

The parents of the young samurai got anxious about his son who didn't go out for training of swordplay in a training hall run by a master of swordplay or learning in a school where classic literature, etc. were taught by a scholar.   The young samurai studied classic literature in their home day and night.  And he mainly read books of Confucianism that taught obedience to the parents.  Indeed, he loved his mother especially.

One day, the parents asked a son of a neighbor samurai family to take their son to a Kabuki theater.  They wanted his son to enjoy some cultural aspects of Edo.  So, the two young samurais went out to a Kabuki theater to watch a Kabuki play.  And they enjoyed the play with other audience.

But at once scene, an actor violently treated his mother played on the stage following a scenario.  It looked so real.  Then the young samurai suddenly stood up and went back to the entrance where he had put his sword to a theater clerk when entering the hall, as it was a custom observed by samurais when they entered a theater hall.  He retrieved his sword and returned to the hall.  Then he walked up to the stage and began to attack the actor playing the violent son with his sword.  The actor was cut to death.  The audience and actors got panicked.  But, finally samurai officials came in to arrest the samurai.

In the subsequent investigation, the young samurai confessed that he had not been able to bear to see the actor hitting his mother on the stage.  And he said that he could not recall what had happened subsequently.

The samurai authority gave a sentence on the poor young samurai of one year imprisonment and then harakiri suicide.  Harakiri suicide is to cut one's abdomen with a small sword by himself as a means of suicide.  And it was regarded rather as honorable death for samurai.   Severe punishment was to have one's head cut off with a sword by an executor samurai.

Before modernization and Westernization of Japan that started in the middle of the 19th century, there ware some samurais who were absorbed too much in study of Confucianism to commit a crime for his love to his mother.  But the rule of law was needed especially in Edo with the population of one million even in the 18th century.

Anyway, love to the mother and the rule by law seem to be still well observed in modern Japan of today.

In WWII, the Empire of Japan could not well compete with the US in terms of development of new technologies.

A young man learning in a high school in Tokyo in 1945 started to work in a technical development center of the Imperial Navy.  As US air raids intensified, the Navy started to relocate the center to local regions by separating each division.  The young man belonged to the wireless technology division that moved to Nikko, a sightseeing spot 100 km north of Tokyo.

(At the time, then crown prince Akihito was evacuated from Tokyo to Nikko to avoid US air raids.)

The wireless technology division was stationed in a tourist hotel where Navy engineers brought in various equipment.  They concentrated in development of radar.  The Empire was behind the US, the UK, and even Germany in this field.  Most of US Naval ships mounted advanced radar systems, but Japanese war ships had only a primitive type of radar systems.  Even Japanese cities were not defended by radar systems, so that US air raids gave great damage on many Japanese cities.

Specifically, the US military used all bands of electric waves for radar to secure reliability.  Japanese engineers also aimed at realizing such a radar system.  The division the young man belonged to started to assemble a new radar system,  They even referred to a German radar system brought into Japan by a submarine from Germany though the Atlantic, Indian, and the Pacific Oceans.

But, the young man found that vacuum tubes manufactured in Japan had poor quality, though the devices were essential for radar.  The failure rate of Japanese vacuum tubes was 50%, meaning five of ten tubes did not function well.  Observing this data, the young man realized that the Empire would lose the war.

And, months later, when he was listening to US radio broadcasting with co-workers, he heard that a US radio station announced that the Empire of Japan was going to surrender by accepting the Potsdam Declaration.  Then, three days later, the Emperor announced the surrender of the Empire to the US to the Japanese people through radio broadcasting.

Today, Japanese products are enjoying reputation of high quality, but at the end of WWII, Japanese engineering quality was a half of America's as this episode told.

Indeed, it is estimated that if the Empire of Japan had had a radar system advanced as much as America's, the Empire should not have been defeated only in four years after the Pearl Harbor Attack of 1941.

In this context, WWII was a war where electronics came to take a decisive part.  However, WWIII might be featured by something more horrible.

In other word, as technology and science have advanced so much globally today, the mankind might not dare to fight the Third World War.  Or at least we have to claim that as technology and science have advanced so much globally today, the mankind must not launch WWIII.

If a man believes that he is always watched by God, he does not surely commit a crime.

So, one of teachings of Christ Jesus is related to this issue.  Even the number of man's hair is counted by God.  And what a man says in the darkness behind the door is heard by God.

This teaching means that God created the universe and the mankind, and He continued to watch them.  God must be observing every phenomenon in this universe at every moment.  God must be observing every work and change in the mind of every man.

Accordingly, if He judges a man, He is absolutely right, since His judgment is based on truth of the man.

So, continuous observation by God of a man is linked to His judgment of the man.  If you observe something, you have to take some action based on results of the observation.

But God may appoint somebody to a watcher of the world for Him, though there is no such a need considering His infinite ability.  So, there have been many authors, reporters, and witnesses in history who have informed later generations of the truth of various events and incidents.

God must have once appointed some disciples of Christ Jesus to watchers of Christ Jesus, so that later Gospels would be written.  Christ Jesus was accompanied by His disciples 24 hours per day and seven days per week.  And, information from those watchers must have led to the establishment of the Gospels.

Since the establishment of the Gospels, God must have continued to appoint somebody to a watcher of each era.  What they wrote actually constitutes history.  And, today as we can read those books and reports, we can observe the past history and especially the history of these 2000 years.  And, it must suggest how God has observed the mankind in these 2000 years since the emergence of Christ Jesus.

If we observe the world, we have to take some actions.  And, God provides us with ability to observe the history, through those past watchers, with expectation that we might take some right actions.  Then, people today living are responsible for not only situation of the world today but also the history of the mankind for these 2000 years.

The more you know, the more you are held responsible.

God is observing us who are expected to observe today's world and the past history and then take some actions in line with the teaching of God.

The first elite member in the US establishment who became US President after WWII was George H. W. Bush.

He succeeded Ronald Reagan who was a former actor and was not from the American elite community or establishment.

But H.W. Bush was defeated in the 1992 presidential election by Bill Clinton who was from a fringe of the American elite community or establishment.  Vice President Al Gore is also from a fringe of the American elite community or establishment.  But Gore is very intellectual.  He is close to the academic elite circle as he has later become a strong advocate of anti-global warming movement.

In the 2000 presidential election, Gore was defeated by George W. Bush, though the result of the vote counting in Florida, which decided the victory of W. Bush, was so dubious.

W. Bush is from the American elite community or establishment like his father but is not so intellectual.  In the presidential election, Bush appealed his somewhat humble personality as an ordinary man unlike arrogant Gore who did not hide his intellectual capacity.

But the one who succeeded W. Bush was Barack Obama who is African America.  His racial feature counted much in the 2008 presidential election which was carried out in the middle of the Financial Crisis and the War on Terror for which the Bush Administration was highly responsible.  American voters lost confidence in the American elite community or establishment.  So, the African American lawyer-turned senator was elected on the rebound.

This trend clearly shows that American voters have chosen presidential candidates who are not from the the American elite community or establishment or who possess some strong merit or characteristics that ordinary American can accept even if the candidates are directly or indirectly linked to, or from a fringe of, the American elite community or establishment.

All the major presidential candidates of today meet this condition.  Hillary Clinton is female, which means she is from a fringe of the establishment.  Sanders is a kind of socialist.  Trump is a unique billionaire who is also a TV personality.  Rubio is of Cuba origin.  But who has more merit than others to receive more empathy from voters?  And who takes more advantage in domestic and global situations?

The key is how voters judge the seven years of the Obama administration.  In the past seven years, the US economy has recovered and the US has not faced terror of the 9/11 class.  However, IS has been killing some American citizens in Syria, and Iraq and Afghanistan show clear failure of American diplomacy and strategies against Islamic terrorists.  China has become a economic power, though it is now placing a distance from the US, while China is aggressively expanding its military activities in the South China Sea.

Maybe ordinary Americans might like to have a new President who can redefine the American position in the world.  In this case, Hillary can take a sophisticated strategy based on her experiences, but Trump might do something wildly to make America strong again.  Sanders and Rubio do not look like so proven in this context.

But, the next US President should meet the condition that he or she is not directly from the American elite community or establishment, which means the new president is not a white male with higher academic or long elite public-life background and rich financial resources.

However, Jeb Bush might come back in the 2020 presidential election to compete with possible President Hillary Clinton.

Anyway, South Carolina and Nevada have chosen Trump and Hillary today as you all know in the world.

The life in this world is like following the number line.  While we are living, we pass the number point 1.  We continue to live, accumulating knowledge, experiences, and money toward the infinity.  But we are reversed toward 0.

If we have faith, we should stop accumulating money toward the infinity (though actually reversed to zero).

The more you accumulate money, the closer you approach zero, since God should apply the reciprocal transformation to your life and money.

That is why there have been no rich men in the human history who has been enlightened to grasp truth of the human existence.  Rather, the richer a man is, the closer he is to total foolishness.

It also indicates spiritual structure of the human mind.  The mind of any poor man is equivalent to to the mind of any rich man or learned man.  In the mind of a poor man, you can find surely something equivalent to what the richest man or the most learnt has in his mind.

You should not belittle any poor man or any uneducated man.

It is strange that there are no places in the world where people can argue openly and collectively matters related to death and life as well as God and Satan.

Even there are no many public occasions where people can argue openly and collectively rich and poor, good and evil, and justice and injustice.

Is it because it is assumed that all the people share the same view on these matters?

Indeed, the most important things for individuals are never discussed openly.  Or are leaders in the world working behind the scene no to make people discuss these matters openly?

Everybody is afraid of death.  But mostly people never discuss the meaning of death with others.  Even it is thought to be good manners not to mention religion that includes matters directly related to death and life.

In this context, the words of Christ Jesus are precious.  Christ Jesus said, for example, that rich men cannot enter Heaven while God loves the poor.

As Christ Jesus told to follow Him, every follower of Him should discuss those matters openly.  Through such discussions, we may be able to talk about truth of the world and humanity eventually.

What is an object for economics.

Is it to make everybody rich or make a country richer despite the gap between the poor and the rich is increasing?  Or is it intended to serve wealthy people or ambitious guys trying to be wealthy.

In any non-nonsense technology, there is a concrete object to achieve.  But economics has no such object.  It is just reasoning and interpreting economic phenomena.

Economics might be serving governments that are responsible to maintain good economic status of nations.  But what is good economic status?  Avoiding inflation or deflation, or depression or recession?

However, economics itself has no power.  It can have power only when its proposals are adopted by governments.   And, even if it proposes any policies to governments, they are not based on scientific and technological principles.  And, effects of the objects of policies it offers cannot be scientifically evaluated, since it is wealthy people that have the biggest influential power on governments.  If their profits are secured and increased, wealthy people would support a policy economics offers no matter how much it is useless for poor people.

However, it may be thought that economics guides a government to taking reasonable policies to achieve an ideal state of economy of the nation.  But what is the ideal state of economy in one country in the era of globalized economy.

For example, Japan is said to have spent futile 20 years in depression.  Its GDP has just increased a little in these 20 years.  But Japanese have been working hard in these 20 years as before when it marked a great economic growth.  How has economics guided the Japanese Government?

But the fact is that Japanese businesses have shifted their production bases and business activities to foreign countries where labor costs are low and markets are big, in order to cope with globalization of economy.  Japanese businesses relocated plants and factories to China and Southeast Asian countries as well as the US and other countries in other regions.  It helped economic growth of China and ASEAN countries as well as South Korea and Taiwan.  As a result, East Asia became the fastest growing economic zone in the world.

From a global point of view, what Japanese businesses have done in the so-called 20 years has greatly contributed to growth of the world economy.  Indeed, it is better for 2 billion East Asians to be rich than for 120 million Japanese to be much richer.  And it is what Japanese economy has done.  However, no economists proposed such an idea.  

Before the end of WWII, most of East Asia was ruled by the UK, France, the Netherlands, the US, etc.  Part of China was colonized by the UK.  Most of Indochina was colonized by the UK and France.  Indonesia was colonized by the Netherlands.  India was a colony of the UK; the Philippines was a colony of the US.  But today, these regions are enjoying high economic growth due to Japan's contribution.

Economics had no object of making East Asian countries rich before WWII and even 20 years ago.  But what made Japan contribute to the economic success of China, South Korea, Taiwan, Southeast Asian countries, etc.?

The history is above economics.

Money is a universal thing.  No matter how different two people are in terms of nationality, language, and religion, they can find the same value in a same amount of money.  So, money is so deeply rooted in the nature of humanity.

However, there is another concept, God, that is shared by all the people in the world, though some people believe not one God but many gods.  However, a superior spiritual existence is acknowledged by most people though some deny such existence while they use their minds that are also partially spiritual.

Moreover, the concept of Satan or devils or ill spirits is also common among people.  The distinction between good and bad is also universal.  At the ultimate end of good people often see God, and at the opposite end people often see Satan.

But rich people have less faith in God.  They may sometimes thank God for their success, but they gradually forget God as they are busy enjoying their riches.  But for whatever reason if a man has stopped thanking God, Satan is rejoiced.

And, most of tribes have myths that their ancestors were born from a god or had some linkage with a god.  But those gods do not request many things to the people.  Accordingly, most of people in any tribes in the world can pursue their material happiness without minding gods their ancestors were linked to.

The first religion that teaches God of mankind is Christianity.  This God is not linked to any specific tribe in a biased manner, though it happened to be the God of Hebrews.  Islam also adopted this concept of the universal God.  In this context Christianity is unique.  The notion that all the members of mankind should know their only God was a so revolutionary teaching in most of people who first encountered Christianity in these 2000 years.

That is why concept of the only and sole God who is the creator of the universe has become common among all the people in the world.  Then the concept of Satan accompanied the concept of God.  And the natural recognition of good and bad among people was reviewed along with this notion of the one and only God.

And the tension between God and Satan is reflected in the gap of the rich and the poor.  It is because Satan knows that if a man becomes rich, his mind gets away from God.  Money is used by Satan as a concrete means to make men rich and thus make them forget God.

Even before the emergence of Christ, people had concepts of gods, devils, spiritual entities, and good and bad, but Christ made it clear that there is only and one God, a good spiritual entity, who has an enemy called Satan, a bad spiritual entity, who is trying to alienate men by use of money.

The reason why Satan is using money as a major means to alienate men from God is that Satan knows that something related to money is deeply rooted in humanity.  It is that money has spiritual power to rule the material goods, services, systems, human relationships and the world.  It looks like power of God.

Put simply Satan created money imitating power of God, so that is why people could understand money when they first encountered it in history.

Satan is really smart, but his evil scheme will be broken eventually, since God will someday put an end to this money game.

There is a theory that the Roman Empire collapsed due to an increasing gap between the rich and the poor in the Empire.

Rich men in the Empire lived in Rome and other big cities.  Those who were rich living in Rome were the elite citizens.   They included senators or high-ranking bureaucrats close to an emperor with political power.  The Roman Civilization was supported and led by them.  But if they came to loose respect from a majority of Roman citizens who were not rich, the administrative framework of the Empire must have been shaken, weaken, and dysfunctional.  In this state, if other tribes with strong military power were invading the territory of the Empire, the elite Roman citizens could not unify all the citizens and troops to effectively fight and defeat the invaders.

What's more, Christianity was prevailing especially among poor citizens.  They must have regarded the rich elite of the Empire as anti-Christ.  Rome must have been regarded as a city of anti-Christ people.  Accordingly, no poor citizens became faithful or enthusiastic soldiers to defend Rome against invading foreign tribes.

Unlike in China where collapse of one dynasty was followed by immediate establishment of another dynasty with cultural succession, when the Western Roman Empire collapsed or when the rich elite of Rome lost power, no new leaders arising from poor citizens took over.  It is as if those poor citizens had refused to take over the Civilization.  It should be because most of those poor citizens were Christians who wanted termination of prosperity of anti-Christ Rome.

According to this theory, the Western Roman Empire went to ruin because poor citizens wanted the total collapse of Rome with the anti-Christ rich elite of Rome.

So, people continued to live outside Rome and other cities in Italy after the fall of the Roman Empire without abandoning their farm lands or living in villages.  They never tried to restore the Empire or to establish a new empire.  Probably, the new leader, the Vatican, must have forbidden people to dream of building another empire.

If early Popes had been truly honest, they should not have been satisfied with Romans adopting Christianity as as their state religion but should have wished a total fall and extinction of the Empire.  It is because Christ Jesus was executed by Roman soldiers.  In this context, the Roman Empire fell fatally due to hidden antagonism of the early Vatican against the Empire.  And, it was so grave that the truth must have been hidden in the history, the truth that the Vatican secretly worked for accelerating the fall of Rome.

Put simply, the critical cause of the fall of the Western Roman Empire is the will of the Vatican and poor Christians who hated anti-Christ Rome.  And it looks so natural that Christ Jesus had been executed by Romans.

Issue of Rich and Poor: the Universal Underlying Factor

When you are poor and see a rich man having big money, you may like to attack him to steal money.

But in most cases you don't.  But why?

Laws and regulations might stop you from committing such a crime.  Or ethics you have been taught in society since your childhood might stop you.  Or your own inherent sense of justice might stop you.

But even if you don't respect laws and regulation, ethics in society, and your own sense of justice, you might not dare to attack the rich man as long as you are an honest Judaist, Christian, or Muslim, since the religions forbid such a sin.

But if you don't respect any religions, you would not attack and rob the rich man of his money so long as you are afraid of God.

But if you don't ultimately admit existence of God, teaching of God, and power of God, you might attack the rich men for you to be rich while making the rich man poor.

Put extremely, all the rich men today living have done similar things to attacking some rich men to steal their money.  Put extremely, they have also become rich by duping or neglecting poor men or by even attacking and robbing poor men of whatever money they had.

The ultimate question a man should face is which his becoming rich would rejoice more, God or Satan.  And if he doesn't mind disappointing God and satisfying Satan, he would surely to be rich by sacrificing others.

Fair competition is a trick.  It is a concept used by rich men to justify their wrongdoings.  No matter if competition is fair, a result should be also fair without causing a gap between winners and losers.  Self-responsibility is also a concept coined by followers of Satan to justify their negligence of poor people.

From the beginning, if human beings think about God all the days as God wishes, they would have no time to think about how to get rich.  If all the human beings think about God all the time as God wishes, there will be no rich men, no rich countries, and no material riches in the human world.  In this context, poverty can be measure of piousness of human beings.

Looking at history in a longer term, it is poor people that changed society and the world.  Every critical war and revolution was decided by movement of poor people, and every major religion spread first among poor people.  Every scientific and technological breakthrough was carried out by poor men.  It is because poor men can be more blessed by God.  Without this interference by God to the human history through poor people, the human world must be a kind of hell today with rich men suppressing, abusing, and controlling poor men without restriction in poor conditions.

The issue of rich and poor is the universal underlying factor of every problem in the world, since it is directly related to the relationships between mankind and God and between mankind and Satan.

Why can Judaists keep their religious identity for 4000 years?

It is because they have faith that God loves them.  With this faith, they have never abandoned their religion, though they had been defeated so many times even before the coming of CHrist Jesus 2000 years ago and they were decisively defeated by Romans after the death of Christ Jesus.  And, in the 20th century, they experienced the Holocaust, but they kept their religion.  It is all because they think they are loved by God.

Christianity has continued for 2000 years.  It is because the Bible tells that God loves people.  Islam has continued for 1300 years, because Muslims believe that Allah loves them.

However, Buddhism has been also practiced and learnt to date since it was first launched by the Buddha 2500 years ago.  It is also love of the Buddha to people.  Because he loved people, he preached the truth about the world and humanity he realized, in order to save people from pain and sins.  

And the essence of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam is that men should know that there is God, the only God, who created and ruled the world and who loves them.

But the essence of Buddhism is that men should know that nothing in this world is good for men so that men should love to be born again in the highest spiritual domain where nothing not good for men exists.

If men do not appreciate God for His love, they would commit every sin and follow Satan to satisfy their desire.  Then, after having rich lives in this world with wealth obtained by following Satan, they are condemned to be thrown into the hell.

But, if you follow the teaching of Buddha, you can be at least exempted from such punishment by God, since you don't follow Satan.  So, the love of the Buddha is aimed at protecting men from Satan.

If you sell your souls to Satan, he will help you become rich.  But following Satan, you will become evil and bad to be eventually punished by God.

Nobody thinks that Satan loves him, if he believes this truth.  But if he denies God and rejects this truth, he will sell his soul to Satan to be materially rich.

If you deny God and this truth, there is no reason for you not to follow Satan to be rich.

Put simply, some people feel love of God and reject Satan, but others do not.  And, there are some people who do not understand God and the truth but are engaged in religion as their professions.

It may be a time to check Judaist, Christian, and Islamic communities along with this notion.  Even the Vatican cannot be an exception, since followers of Satan are everywhere.

Gravitational waves fill the entire space around us.  Or gravitational force always works on us.

You cannot shield the force anywhere in this universal.  But isn't an entity emitting force losing its energy?  Gravity or electromagnetic force is incessantly emitted from elementary particles, such as electrons.  But they never lose all the energy they have and eventually turn to nothing.

An elementary particle that composes an atom has mass and thus gravitational force that works to the space around it and to other particles through the space.  But an energy source of its gravity is never depleted.  Therefor atoms and molecules around us do not collapse to nothing after emitting all of their energy in the forma of gravity or electromagnetic force.  They never get weathered.

However, this phenomenon might be only assured within a certain time frame.  In, say, trillions of trillion years, all these elementary particles might lose their existence energy as they use the energy for emitting gravity force, electromagnetic force, etc.  Their existence in the universe might be allowed only for trillions of trillion years but not forever.

To God, eternity is a tiny little thing.  God is a concept that is linked with any types of infinity.  If in trillions of trillion years all the elementary particles collapse in this world and the universe and thus every star, molecule, atom. and substance in this universe lose their shape and mass, God will think it is a matter of moment for Him.

Anyway, gravity did not exist in the beginning of the universe, and there will be no substances that have gravity in the far and far future in the universe and thus there will be no gravity eventually in the universe.

However, the words of God remain in the universe forever, since this universe was born according to His words.

Mammals cannot see the color red.  Dogs and cats cannot distinguish red from other colors than blue.  However human beings and large-size apes can distinguish red.

It is because mammals were forced to live in hiding during the era of dinosaurs that continued for about 150 million years.  In the era, mammals mostly in the shape of a kind of mice acted at night so as not to be attacked by dinosaurs.  Accordingly, their eyes degraded.  Mammals became only capable of making discrimination between red and blue; therefore every color except blue looked similar and every color except blue looked similar in a different way.  Put simply they cannot tell difference between red and green.

However, 30 million years ago apes came to have ability to make color distinction based on perception of the three primary colors of red, green, and blue.

If this mutation evolution had not occurred, human beings could not probably produce civilization.  Our intellectual ability is supported by our sensory ability to appreciate the blue sky, green leaves, and red flowers.   If human beings could not see the world in its natural color, how could they establish civilization?

But as apes came to have the superior vision system, they could protect themselves more effectively from other animals.  That is why human beings could pursue more evolution.

So, God destroyed dinosaurs 65 million years ago and restored faculty of sight of apes so as to pave the way for evolution of mankind.

However, it is said that dinosaurs could see things in color based on the four primary colors: red, green, blue, and ultra-violet.  That maybe why they could rule the world dominantly from 200 million years ago to 65 million years ago when a gigantic meteor hit the earth.

Today birds, a kind of descendants of dinosaurs, have this tetrachromacy vision.  It is even said that about 2 to 3% of women in the world have tetrachromacy vision, since it was females among apes that first captured the vision system based on the three primary colors 30 million years ago.

According to the Bible, people had ability to see ill spirits as well as angels.  But as time went by, people gradually lost the ability along with development of material civilization.  Or have most of people become a kind of ill spirits themselves so that they cannot any more discern ill spirits?

However, even creatures living in a monochrome world must be able to discern brightness of God.
