SECTION I: Japan's 7/11 Upper-House Election
The July 11th, Sunday, is the day for the final at Johannesburg, South Africa, in the 2010 World Cup Soccer Matches.
In Japan, it will be the voting day of the 22nd Upper House election where candidates for half of 242 members of the house undergo judgement by voters.
The world paid a strong attention, as a rare case, to the Japanese politics last summer due to the regime change from a very-pro American conservative government to a pro-Chinese liberal one. It was however the Lower-House election for 480 seats that realized the regime change pulling up the Democratic Party of Japan to power. This time, the concern is on whether the DPJ can further gain a foothold as it replaced a few weeks ago unpopular Former Prime Minister Mr. Yukio Hatoyama with a little cleaner new P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan.
But, what people in the world should understand about Japan now is that for the first in half a century, Japan has a real liberal prime minister with a socialist mind set. He has never joined the very-pro American conservative Liberal Democratic Party in his 30-year career in the national politics, though he has never acted as a violent revolutionist.
Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan has however no experiences in real business. He has no social experiences since his graduation from the Tokyo Institute of Technology except ones as a liberal civil activist. He looks like being an ambitious politician with justification for his activities in complying with value of anti-conservatism.
For example, there are some Japanese who tie up with anti-whaling foreign activists. Those Japanese do not love whales especially but hate Japanese traditions and conservative people or the establishment. They are a kind of ideologically brain-washed Japanese. Accordingly, those anti-whaling Japanese look like crooked men and women to the eye of most of Japanese, since Japanese whaling is based on the Japanese tradition.
(It is truly laughable that some anti-Japanese big media companies in America are bringing up and praising those crooked anti-whaling Japanese, since they have no grounds and roots in the main and sub-main Japanese communities. American anti-whaling activists are a kind of engaged in the anti-Japanese business. But Japanese activists are a kind of socialists of an old Soviet-Union's spy type.)
P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan is, however, not a crooked one. He is more balanced, respecting commonsense. Yet, those crooked anti-whaling Japanese support Mr. Kan. Those who write "a man should not hate others" on their site while using every expression of hatred against their enemies, namely ordinal Japanese who support whaling, on the same site are supporting liberal P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan. It is not good. Mr. Naoto Kan should be rather denied together with those crooked anti-whaling Japanese than being respected for the purpose of defending the Japanese traditional culture.
Anyway, Japanese politicians can be judged with three measures: conservativeness or anti-crooked ideology, respect for traditional value, expertise in any advanced field.
For P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan,
Anti-Crooked Ideology: 50
Traditional Value: 70
Expertise: 20
TOTAL: 140/300
For LDP President Mr. Sadakazu Tanigaki,
Anti-Crooked Ideology: 80
Traditional Value: 80
Expertise: 30
TOTAL: 190/300
Yet, there is another measure: anti-ultrarich
For P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan,
Anti-Crooked Ideology: 50
Traditional Value: 70
Expertise: 20
Anti-Ultrarich: 70
TOTAL: 210/400
For LDP President Mr. Sadakazu Tanigaki,
Anti-Crooked Ideology: 80
Traditional Value: 80
Expertise: 30
Anti-Ultrarich: 10
TOTAL: 200/400
That is why the regime change occurred in the summer of 2009, though Mr. Kan and Mr. Tanigaki were not the top leaders of the two major parties, respectively, on August 30, 2009 when the quasi-revolutionary general election was held in Japan.
To choose candidates for the coming national election, it might be also better to introduce another measure: anti-antisocial organization.
For a certain female DPJ candidate,
Anti-Crooked Ideology: 70
Traditional Value: 80
Expertise: 10
Anti-Ultrarich: 10
Anti-antisocial organization: 10
TOTAL: 180/500
For a certain female LDP candidate,
Anti-Crooked Ideology: 80
Traditional Value: 75
Expertise: 85
Anti-Ultrarich: 30
Anti-antisocial organization: 80
TOTAL: 350/500
So, Japanese voters might support LDP female candidates more than DPJ female candidates, in general, this time.
(For Captain Tokyo,
Anti-Crooked Ideology: 100
Traditional Value: 90
Expertise: 90
Anti-Ultrarich: 100
Anti-antisocial organization: 100
TOTAL: 480/500)

Luk 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
Luk 6:23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
