What is the best country in which to discuss the end of the world?
Or, at least, what is the best country in which to discuss catastrophe of this era of material civilization?
The best experts, specialists, scholars, professors, journalists, or researchers should first check the world to find a place in which to study and analyze catastrophe of this era of material civilization.
At present, Japan is one of candidate places, since it has suffered a M9.0 earthquake, a max. 38-meter rising tsunami, and a nuclear accident just 250-km northeast of the world mightiest capital Tokyo. Accordingly, I have something to say.

SECTION II: Catastrophe Creates a New Stage
The point is that the new player is part of the old player.
The old player has various constituents or elements as its members. When the major part of the old player has come to its limit in growth, one of its members starts to grow opening a new era at a new level.
The point at issue is a paradigm change. Such a new player will not inherit an old paradigm the old player has relied on.
This concept can apply to economy of the U.S., Japan, and China as well as development of the whole mankind, since they all look like tracing the pattern of catastrophe.
SECTION III: American Dreams all over the World
If the material American Dream is universal and essential for every member of mankind, the ultimate goal of mankind is to live like a rich American in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Russia, China, South Asia, and the Pacific Ocean Area.
But, the growth of the whole population of mankind requires such a huge amount of energy and foods like those consumed in the U.S.
It will really follow the pattern of catastrophe.
If everybody on the earth pursues the American Material Dream, mankind will trace the pattern of catastrophe.
Conversely, the American Dream is not universal and essential for mankind.
SECTION IV: Era of Optimization
For example, if a Puritan ambitious young man becomes a billionaire, a Harvard student becomes a billionaire, a garage engineer becomes a billionaire, or a Wall Street gambler becomes a billionaire, the amount of their paradigm change is still within a scope of the era which should be called the "Era of Catastrophe."
They cannot even save one honest and law-abiding homeless man.
It is time to think about the quality-based optimized Mankind Dream, leaving the oil/stocks/IT-based Material American Dream.

The world is being contaminated minute after minute by diffusion of Europe-rooted material civilization American Dream symbolizes.

Note that this is not a big joke, for Japan is not yet to be in such a mood.

When the M9.0 earthquake occurred on March 11, 2011, it was accompanied within a short period of time by two more M7-class earthquakes that happened in the North Pacific Ocean.
Specifically one occurred 250 km north and another 150 km south of the epicenter of the first M9.0 earthquake.
Then, next day, an M6-class earthquake occurred in Niigata Prefecture on the Sea of Japan. And, on March 15, another M6-class rocked the Kanto Area and Tokyo from its epicenter close to Mt. Fuji.
If these spots are all connected, it clearly shows the boundary of the North American Plate on which the east part of Honshu Island is situated.
And, on the opposite point to Mt. Fuji on this Plate is Iceland.
Do you remember that a big volcano of Iceland erupted in April 2010, a year ago?
This volcanic activity must be a handwriting on the big wall around the globe, predicting the coming M9.0 earthquake off northeast Honshu, Japan.
Anyway, both the volcano of Iceland and Mt. Fuji (and Honshu Island) are on the same continental plate, the North American Plate.
So, an omen was there in Iceland last year for the 2011 3/11 Disaster of northeast Japan.
As the North American Plate was pushed from Iceland, it acted repulsively against the Pacific Plate off northeast Japan, taking one year, in my theory.
This is truly an eschatological situation as I contemplate so.
