"Cast out Satan"

(One Very Long Shinaknsen Train around Tokyo)

"Cast out Satan"

As this is a Monday after three consecutive holidays for most of Japanese workers since last Friday, it might be a long night.

*** *** *** ***

The most important argument on the current global economic crisis since 2008 September's Wall Street Debacle is why and how they could not stop the Great Depression in 1929 and 1930's, since advanced knowledge and expertise can be only developed through inheritance of past lessons learnt.

There must have been some critical signs and indications in the U.S. economy in 1920's. There must have been at least a few decisive unusual trends in business and finance or in the consumer market.

I myself discussed these matters in this blog prior to the 2008 September's Wall Street Debacle. Though it is still hard to assess how much I contributed with those writings to suppressing damages actually brought by the Wall Street Debacle, I think it is still necessary for me to focus on the economic side of human activities on the earth to further contain the future economic disaster, if so predicted in any small probability.

One key factor to driving the U.S. economy as well as the global economy is the Internet power supported by computer and telecommunications technologies. So, I like to review these aspects of the world prior to the 2008 September's Wall Street Debacle:

From 2003 to 2008, namely during the recent four years, the broadband use in America grew three times larger than in previous years as the following data provided by Lehman Brothers show.

http://www.scribd.com/doc/2977408/Internet-Data-Book-April-2008

From a historical point of view, after the launch of the Iraqi War by President Mr. George W. Bush in 2003, the mood in the U.S. society apparently changed; the shock of the 9/11 Terror became the thing of the past and the business and venture mind captured most of American citizens like in the stock-market boom in late 1990's. And the ever powered up Internet was there.

In summary, they could then manipulate their one-billion-dollar embedded data in various ways of, for example, dividing and multiplying tens of hundreds times through thousand types of combination with other data items in a very short period of time. And the broadband transmission path allowed them to quickly and smoothly exchange their own Tera-byte data with others' in trade.

What is more, the War on Terror boosted the demand for high-tech information technology in various fields, including the national security industry. Accordingly, a huge amount of human resources and funds were invested in the IT sector like before the IT business downturn around 2001.

This enhanced IT capability was naturally applied to the global financial market and Wall Street businesses almost directly, though not for the sound and right risk management but mostly for earning ever increasing profits large enough to easily cover any possible financial risks calculated in computers.

The geared-up use of the Internet through broadband can be easily inferred from the general trend of the diffusion of the broadband Internet as shown in the above figure provided by Lehman Brothers.

But, Lehman Brothers also provides a figure that shows who the most popular search-engine providers are.

These shares of the search-engine providers might look irrelevant to the IT boom on Wall Street in these days. However, it tells one specific characteristic of the IT world. It shows the inclination toward the most powerful party as if there were no room for accommodating a variety of methods and strategies in competition.

It is a world where a clearly recognized simple end requires the clearly and simply most advantageous means and tool. And, every player can easily judge relative merits among candidate tools even at his/her desk in office or at home.

It is a world where fortune of war is quickly decided and understood by any party.

This mentality must have prevailed on Wall Street, making workers there all simple minded in terms of their behaviors and strategies in making business or acquiring any type of fortune...

* In a Humble Spring Tempest *

(They say: a divorce rate is increasing in Iran; many Romanian children have been desperately left behind by mothers who go to work in Western Europe; and so many otherwise-school boys and girls are forced to work all day in cotton fields in India...)

In 1910's, poetry was undergoing renovation in the U.K. and the U.S. under the influence of "haiku," a Japanese style of short poem. Hence a poet depicted a scene in an underground railroad station in Paris:

In a Station of the Metro

Ezra Pound

The apparition of these faces in the crowd;
Petals on a wet, black bough.

Note: This poem is said to aim at catching a moment of the meeting of two inherently different items...at a tube station of Paris in the early 20th century...Oh, Come On!

"I am well pleased"

"I am well pleased"

Joh 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Joh 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

CHAPTER I: JAPANESE OBAMAS

TETSU KATAYAMA
Katayama served the nation Japan as prime minister from the Socialist Party of Japan between 1947 and 1948.

It is said that he is the first Christian prime minister of Japan.

In the political turmoil after the Second World War and the intensified international environment between the U.S. and the U.S.S.R., the Japanese people overwhelmingly supported the first Christian and socialist prime minister of Japan, though Tetsu Katayama was a graduate from the Imperial University of Tokyo.

He died in 1978, the year that another Christian prime minister Masayoshi Ohira of the LDP assumed the premiership of Japan.

MASAYOSHI OHIRA
Ohiara was appointed 68th prime minister of Japan in December 1978. However, he died of a sudden and fatal disease in June 1980 during a heated campaign of a general election Prime Minister Ohira was bitterly forced to fight to secure his cabinet.

It is said that he is the second Christian prime minister of Japan.

It is also said that the third Christian prime minister of Japan is incumbent Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso, though he is from a very rich family.

CHAPTER II: An Edgar Allen Poe’s Poem in 1831

To Helen

Edgar Allen Poe

Helen, thy beauty is to me
Like those Nicean barks of yore,
That gently, o’er a perfumed sea,
The weary, way-worn wanderer bore
To his own native shore.

On desperate seas long wont to roam,
Thy hyacinth hair, thy classic face,
Thy Naiad airs have brought me home
To the glory that was Greece,
And the grandeur that was Rome.

* * *

Note: Nicea is yet to be identified about its precise location. The hyacinth hair is said to be blackish purple hair. My impression is that something is there Hellenic and Germanic in the poem, but it is apparently Archaic Mediterranean...

Great is Buddha

Great is Buddha

Mr. Hayao Miyazaki, a Japanese animation producer, created an animation title "Porco Rosso" in 1992.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porco_Rosso

The story extended around the Adriatic Sea gives pleasuring feeling, but it has an extraordinarily impressive scene where a myriad of fallen pilots on their planes of the WWI era are ascending to Heaven in lines, to one direction high in the blue sky.

However this animation work was released in Japan under the title "Crimson Pig," since the hero pilot Porco looks like a pig to any audience.

So, I recalled one phrase of a song: "He's so hard to see!"

Anyway, the Mediterranean is far enough to look romantic from Japan, though I don't know if the sea could be sensed from Jerusalem even 2000 years ago.

SECTION I: An American Nursery Rhyme

'There was a little girl'

There was a little girl,
And she had a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good
She was very, very good,
And when she was bad she was horrid.

One day she went upstairs,
When her parents, unawares,
In the kitchen were occupied with meals,
And she stood upon her head
In her little trundle-bed,
And then began hooraying with her heels.

...

* * *

Note: They say that this is a popular poem as having been taken into Mother Goose, since the little, happy girl is going to be spanked by her mother who thought that boys were playing at war at the upstairs.

SECTION II: THE BUDDHA

In my rough idea about (the) Buddha it is that he was a member of the East Asian race group.

Buddha must have looked more like a Japanese than, for an example, an Iranian, which is why Tibet, Mongolia, Sri lanka, Burama, Thailand, and other Eastern Asia regions honestly observe Buddhism.

However, ancient India had three major racial groups: the first one who belongs to Aryan races coming down from the north, the second one originally living in the Indian sub-continent like Dravidians, and the last who belongs to the East Asia racial group.

At least, it must not have been a simple world dominated by a single culture.

What I want to say is that it must not have been a simple situation for any philosopher to excel in his wisdom over others.

Yet, one of the most striking aspects in Buddha's path for truth is that excellence in wisdom and insight can be hated, abused, or attacked by demons and the Devil.

Without a help from Almighty God, Buddha faced those evil challenges to eventually conquer them, which is the greatest performance ever achieved by a man all alone.

Compared with Buddha, other holy saints who have ever appeared in the west of India are just petitioners for holy helpers from Heaven.

Great is the Buddha; the Buddha is the only great independent man; and everybody should confess that Great is Buddha; and Buddha is the only great independent man.

NOTE: The Buddha originally means the only person Gotama Siddhattha, and hence he is called simply "(O-)Shaka (-sama)" or "Budda" in Japanese.

*** *** *** ***

That is all for today, finally, Mdlles.

The Changeable Might Become Unchanging

(Out of The Tokyo Bay, The Sagami Bay and The Pacific Ocean)

The Changeable Might Become Unchanging

It is fine this morning as if promised by the good taste of wine in the eve.

Importantly for Buddhists, it is a Japanese public holiday tomorrow, as it is the Spring Equinox Day.

SECTION I: Another American Poem

Pastoral

William Carlos Williams

When I was younger
it was plain to me
I must make something of myself.
Older now
I walk back streets
admiring the houses
of the very poor:

....

No one
will believe this
of vast import to the nation.

* * *

Note: They say it shows sympathy to the poor who have nothing to do with any matter of national importance, though rich men in any country need poor men who serve them for salary.

SECTION II: BUDDHA

--------------
My disciples, my end is approaching, our parting is near, but do not lament. Life is ever changing; none can escape the dissolution of the body. This I am now to show by my own death, my body falling apart like a dilapidated cart.

Do not vainly lament, but realize that nothing is permanent and learn from it the emptiness of human life. Do not cherish the unworthy desire that the changeable might become unchanging.

The demon of worldly desires is always seeking chances to deceiver the mind. If a viper lives in your room and you wish to have a peaceful sleep, you must first chase it out.

You must break the bonds of worldly passions and drive them away as you would a viper. You must positively protect your own mind.

My disciples, my last moment has come, but do not forget that death is only the end of the physical body. The body was born from parents and was nourished by food; just as inevitable are sickness and death.

But the true Buddha is not a human body: -- it is Enlightenment. A human body must die, but the Wisdom of Enlightenment will exist forever in the truth of the Dharma, and in the practice of the Dharma. He who sees merely my body does not truly see me. Only he who accepts my teaching truly sees me.

After my death, the Dharma shall be your teacher. Follow the Dharma and you will be true to me.

During the last forty-five years of my life, I have withheld nothing from my teachings. There is no secret teaching, no hidden meaning; everything has been taught openly and clearly. My dear disciples, this is the end.

In a moment, I shall be passing into Nirvana. This is my instruction.

http://www.amidabuddha.org/lastteaching.html
--------------

Thus Buddha died 500 years before the age of Christ.

It is unbelievable that one man who lived and acted in ancient India just as a monk only relying on the power of his understanding human minds and the nature still stands as the most intellectual and smart person in the history.

It is so since only Judaists, Christians, and Muslims who never learnt the teaching of Buddha say that it is not a religion at all, since it has nothing to do with death and Heaven...

Correct Measures for Correctness

(For Tokyo Bay)

Correct Measures for Correctness

For example, when you get into a telephone shop, how can you tell what your correct choice is when buying a new cellular phone?

There are several service providers, each selling tens of models in Japan.

What is correct choice then, a white model, a rectangular model, a functionally advanced expensive model, or the most popular type of mobile phones?

Yet, as this is the third cellular phone since I started to use this type of equipment 13 years ago, I had to choose the very correct one.

And, as Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso is going to provide a special allowance, 12,000 yen or $130, for each Japanese to boost consumption as a special economic measure, I am now content to have found one being discounted to below 10,000 yen in a certain shop.

The new cellular phone I purchased recently is actually an unsold one (but unused one, of course) since last autumn or so, meaning not a new model for the Spring of 2009, though it has a kind of Window OS-based functions.

SECTION 0: Mr. Heizo Takenaka and Mr. Ben Bernanke

----------
"I told the banks clearly, 'I am in a position to supervise you,' "Mr. Takenaka said. "I told them I am not open to negotiation."

It took three more years to finally get the majority of bad loans off the banks' books. Resona Bank, which was found to have insufficient capital, was effectively nationalized.

From 1992 to 2005, Japanese banks wrote off about 96 trillion yen, or about 19 percent of the country's annual G.D.P. But Mr. Takenaka's toughness restored faith in the banks.

"That was a turning point in the banking crisis," said Mr. Gomi of the Financial Services Agency, who worked with Mr. Takenaka on the audits.

By then, other factors had fallen into place that aided economic recovery, including a boom in exports to the United States and China...

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/13/business/economy/13yen.html?scp=3&sq=Takenaka&st=cse
----------

Mr. Barnanke expressed recently an optimistic view of American economy. It is reasonable to have such an expectation, since the U.S. can command its domestic consumer market without much relying on the Chinese market. Recovery of the financial system with tight control on Wall Street, including AIG, would help U.S. economy back onto a desirable state.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/7945385.stm

Japan can wait for the coming upturn of a U.S. economic cycle, but it is more needed to cultivate other markets than the American one and the Chinese one, since the era when a Mr. Takenaka-type hero is needed seems to be passing away...

SECTION I: An American Poem

'There was an old man of Nantucket'

There was an old man of Nantucket
Who kept all his cash in a bucket;
But his daughter, named Nan,
Ran away with a man -
And as for the bucket, Nantucket.

* * *

Note: They say that it is poor and cheap humor, since "Nan took it" is expressed as Nantucket. But, it depends on how Nan looks more than how the old man looks.

SECTION II: BUDDHA

-----------------
Now this, monks, is the noble truth
of the way that leads to the cessation of pain:
this is the noble eightfold way, namely,
correct understanding, correct intention,
correct speech, correct action, correct livelihood,
correct attention, correct concentration,
and correct meditation
.

http://www.san.beck.org/EC9-Buddha.html

-----------------

Only Almighty God can give measures about correctness, however, to monks and civilians.

Indeed, if your desire and pride supersede the respect for Buddha, you will break the noble eightfold way and spoil your community as well as yourself.

And, Buddha also asserted that money cannot be a measure to identify correctness. Yet, it may be a long way to deduce what is correct from teachings of Buddha, which is why you have to abandon your life to learn it in Buddhism...

Only A Hub Can Stop All Arrows

(North of Tokyo)

Only A Hub Can Stop All Arrows

Yes, the space shuttle was launched as usual from a NASA base, though with one Japanese astronaut.

Indeed, what goes up must come down, but the space station the shuttle is going to arrive at must be rotating to generate artificial gravity like the one depicted in the movie "2001 -- A Space Odyssey."

In addition, I hope those astronauts would greet 3.5 million homeless people now suffering hard time in the United States, since the space mission is a kind of killing financially those poor people on the mother planet...

SECTION 0: Regulation in Mind and Heart

This subject is not concerned with brainwashing or mean-hearted state education.

When 99 out of hundred citizens of ancient Israel abandoned their efforts to avoid an all-out war with the Roman Empire, they were destined to be completely defeated and lose the land for coming 2000 years.

When 99 out of hundred citizens of Ching dynasty of China abandoned their efforts to reform the nation and introduce the principle of equality of all people, they were destined to be completely defeated in wars against Western powers and the Empire of Japan all through the 19th and 20th centuries.

If no sufficient level of respect for laws and regulations, without mentioning teachings of saints, is found among 99 out of hundred citizens in the U.S. of today, Americans will not be able to be free from the War on Terror and the Wall-Street type of money-related enormity in the 21st century.

So far I can see at least 10 people among 100 around Tokyo who would rather unconditionally respect laws and regulations written on their hearts and minds.

Quel est le ratio autour de vous, Filles?

SECTION I: American Indians

Is This Real
- Indian song -

Let us see, is this real,
Let us see, is this real,

This life I am living?
You, Gods, who dwell everywhere,

Let us see, is this real,
This life I am living?

SECTION II: BUDDHA

-----------
I am secure in the cloak of the Dharma and the inspiring words of Buddha....

There are causes for all human suffering, and there is a way by which they may be ended, because everything in the world is the result of a vast concurrence of causes and conditions, and everything disappears as these causes and conditions change and pass away. Rain falls, winds blow, plants bloom, leaves mature and are blown away...

1) Concerning the body: do not ask to be free of all illness, for when the body is free of all illness, greed quickly arises. When greed has arisen, the precepts soon are broken and progress becomes regression.

...

10) Concerning false accusations: do not try to justify yourself or make explanations, for self-justifications only increase the illusion of having a separate self. Once this illusion of a separate self arises, thoughts of anger and revenge soon will follow.

http://gotaro.homestead.com/
-----------

Truly, the "Wheel of Dharma" is a symbol representing dharma...floating over the domain of transmigration and reincarnation...being done in a moment for Almighty God.

"Emptiness is the True Color"

"Emptiness is the True Color"

(IN PREPARATION)

An ordinary computer can handle 16,777,216 different colors, since each of Red, Green, and Blue components has 256 grades (256 times 256 times 256 = 16,777,216).

Therefore, 16,777,216 words in a dictionary can be mapped to this color domain in a one-to-one manner.
*** *** *** ***

The software tool for creating a color I used yesterday is interesting.

Even if you input more than 6-digit hexadecimal codes, it returns a kind of corresponding color, though its algorithm is a little mystery.

But, for some practical reason, it is better to input a series of ASCII codes in a reversed order.

Specifically, "LOVE," #4c4f5645, must be input as #5465f4c4

For example, "Jesus" is #4a65737573; so input #37573756a4, and then we get the following.

And, for "Christ" as #473796278644 instead of #446872697374:

For "America" as #1636962756d614 instead of #416d6572696361:

Finally, "Japan" as #e6160716a4 instead of #4a6170616e:

Try using the following site with any ASCII code table:
http://pega.littlestar.jp/tagunooheya/color-3.html

*** *** *** ***

The Buddha did not deny that there is happiness in life, but he pointed out it does not last forever. Eventually everyone meets with some kind of suffering. He said:
"There is happiness in life,
happiness in friendship,
happiness of a family,
happiness in a healthy body and mind,
...but when one loses them, there is suffering."

"LOVE" and "love"

"LOVE" and "love"

"love" is expressed as "#6c 6f 76 65" in the ASCII code system.

"LOVE" is expressed as "#4c 4f 56 45" in the ASCII code system.

These hexadecimal codes can be applied to the Web color code system as follows:

http://pega.littlestar.jp/tagunooheya/color-3.html)

So, to our astonishment, in the computer and the Internet, we get the following fact:

"Love is a kind of green."

Note: However, as RGB requires only six digits of a hexadecimal number, "#4c4f5645" has two digit redundant. So, it depends on a system how to translate an input code to an effective code. The system I used actually produced that kind of green.

For example, "#4c4f56" is not green at all.

"Thou Art Lukewarm"

(North of Tokyo)

"Thou Art Lukewarm"

I watched a late-night TV news program on Friday's night and then asked justice from the God who eventually and benevolently responded to my insistent pleading.

That is why now I have a feeling that the God would throw them out, like He did in fiscal 2008.

SECTION I: GLOBAL OBAMAS

According to a survey by Nippon Television, one of major TV stations in Japan, Japanese audiences chose the following heroines a few years ago:

No. 1....Masako Natsume (3068 points)
No. 2....Audrey Hepburn (3046)

No. 3....Princess Diana (1604)
No. 4....Cleopatra (1410)

No. 5....Mother Teresa (1110)
No. 6....Florence Nightingale (1001)

No. 7....Grace Patricia Kelly (762)
No. 8....Marilyn Monroe (701)
No. 9....Jeanne d'Arc (676)
No. 10...Marie-Antoinette (546)

Though I have only a vague idea about Masako Natsume, she was a Japanese actress who died two decades ago or so due to a fatal illness at the height of her popularity, at the age of 27.

Japanese TV audiences are not foolish at all; they are rather unique. But, why can Monroe attract admiration more than Jeanne d'Arc?

Anyway, Japanese TV audiences are strange romantics in light of global norms, if any.

SECTION II: Revolutionary Democratic Idea

Mr. Paul Krugman wrote in The New York Times on November 28, 2005 or so.

---------------------------
...
But job losses at General Motors are part of the broader weakness of U.S. manufacturing, especially the part of U.S. manufacturing that offers workers decent wages and benefits. And some of that weakness reflects two big distortions in the American economy: an unsustainable trade deficit and a dysfunctional health care system.
...
---------------------------

The collapse of Wall Street, the showiest street of a higher level of excellence and expertise of the American power elite, in fiscal 2008 suggested very strongly that ordinary Americans would be virtually killed by the conventional American elite through poor and diminished medical care systems and health-insurance systems.

American workers had no choice but vote for the Democratic Party whose presidential candidate happened to be Mr. Barack Obama.

My idea for a new voting system to choose the head of a government is to adopt an election system where a voter is allowed to select a name and a term of his/her service.

For example, a voter can write down on a sheet for vote: "Barack Obama for 1 year," "Barack Obama for 10 years," or "John McCain for 2 years."

If the designation for "Barack Obama for 2 years" is the largest in the number of ballots, President Mr. Barack Obama would be allowed to serve the nation only for two years.

*** *** *** ***

Ok, you go your way; I will continue my way.

We will not identify each other on any occasions in the future.

This is my word expressed out of deep feeling and sincere contemplation.

So, I am saying goodbye to fiscal 2008 which will finally end on 31 March, 2009, in Japan.

Note 1: In the computer technology, it is common sense that one thousand means 1024, since it is expressed as 1K, "10 000 000 000" in a binary system.

Note 2: There is no human or scientific proof that the God is the only one; time flows to one direction only; and human mind exists as one solid entity. That is why fiscal year 2008 can end on 31 March, 2009, before cherry blossoms get all out in Japan.

"The LORD God Said unto the Serpent"

(Yokohama on the Tokyo Bay, where I once had a Christian friend...)

(Tokyo where I once had so-called Christian friends...)

"The LORD God Said unto the Serpent"

This posting happens to be the 1024th in EEE Reporter.

In terms of the number of words and pictures presented, I suppose this blog is the No.1 among all unofficial English documents or publications made open electronically or in other ways to the world by a sole Japanese writer, though I have no intention to seek official recognition by the Guinness Book of Records.

Indeed, this is probably the number one blog, especially on a yearly base, delivered personally by a Japanese person living in Japan and using English and personal pictures without any commercial associations except the blog provider "Blogger."

However, some of you may be contributing to this record...share the glory and praise the God!

Finally, cost-effectiveness is yet to be evaluated, since there are neither sponsors, mentors, employers, nor bosses for this EEE Reporter writer.

(As the end of fiscal 2008 is getting near, the issue is whether you will be able to enjoy cherry blossoms in Japan next year or not, since the flowers never help you live one more year. Je veux dire que rien n'est commun entre le christianisme et les cerisiers.

If you live for 20 years among American super-rich people while working in very competent organizations, you would indeed think and look like those old British aristocrats.

What I want to ask is: Is that what you want?

And, what I want to emphasize is that Japan is a state more under the rule of law than the U.K. and the U.S.

(Les imbéciles ont montré une fois disrepect à moi; et les femmes laides ont montré une fois disrepect à moi, c'est la raison pour laquelle je pense que ce genre de bêtise et la laideur n'ont rien à voir avec Holy Angels, mon ami. So no one would welcome them when arrivinag or departing.

Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Rev 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

"Our Witness"

"Our Witness"

(In preparation...to be completed... )

http://www.nytimes.com/imagepages/2009/03/09/business/09dollar.graphic.ready.html

The New York Time would allow me to add certain information to one of the charts.

While FRB is fueling one trillion dollars to the financial market to cope with the credit collapse, the value of the dollar has been remarkably kept high. It means situations in other countries are worse than in the U.S.

In other words, a disaster on Wall Street was multiplied and spread all over the world.

Therefore, early recovery of the U.S. financial system is urgently needed. If American corporations and consumers find other schemes and sources that allow them to regain their creditworthiness, economy will be back on the track.

In order to realize this bounceback, you need a new paradigm based on the fear of God.

Joh 3:9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?

Joh 3:10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

Joh 3:11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

Joh 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

"The axe is laid unto the root of the trees"

"The axe is laid unto the root of the trees"

I do not think economists in the world today can excellently analyze the above New York Stock Exchange trend based on understanding of the influence of the computer technology on financial transactions.

If you can observe the development of information-processing technology along with the development of the global money market, you will find what has been driving the trend in the New York Stock indexes.

So, to be an effective economist today, you have to be also an effective computer engineer.

You must have experiences of designing electronic circuits for computers and write software codes for computers and the Internet system in addition to learning economics.

When all the economists in the world agree with me and to this notion, people will finally leave the over-extended era of Karl Marx and John M. Keynes.

(I am not a spy for any government or religious sects. What I wanted to point to is the possibility of Judas having been a spy, which must have been the very reason for Jesus' inviting him into his disciples. Vous ne pouvez pas être un espion, Fille, puisque vous êtes japonais, n'est-ce pas?

Luk 3:9 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Luk 3:10 And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?

Luk 3:11 He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.

"Lest they should throng him"

(The Yokosuka Naval Port in the Tokyo Bay)

"Lest they should throng him"

I just like to discuss two things:
The breakdown of American criminals and a trend analysis of the number of American criminals.

1. Breakdown of Criminals

First of all, among seven-million arrested criminals in the U.S. now under official supervision, I suppose there are four categories of people:
1) Those very unlucky to have been arrested while just doing a certain minor illegal thing just like everybody does in daily life for some convenience, probably accounting for two million criminals.

2) Those having done a certain significant illegal act in a very exceptional condition or situation for themselves without controlling mind and emotion and planning the act carefully so as to escape the arrest, probably accounting for two million criminals.

3) Professional criminals or habitual criminals, regardless of their membership in a gangster organization, accounting for two million criminals.
....

(to be continued...perhaps...today...)

2. Trend of an Increase of Criminals

We can assume a feedback system where a next value is a current value plus an increase between the current value and the preceding value.

Value (t+1) = Value (t) + (Value (t) - Value (t-1))

For example, the following series represents this feedback system.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,....

It is so since 7 = 6 + (6 -5).

Please note that this also suggests how the concept of integers had been created before the material universe was created by the God.

Mathematically, it is called arithmetic sequence or arithmetical progression.

But, the core of real meaning of the series is that it is a pattern of feedback systems.

Mar 3:7 But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea,

Mar 3:8 And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.

Mar 3:9 And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.
