1. The Most Respectful Manner in Japan
The Grand Shrine of Ise has been the most highly ranked shrine in Japan, since the Goddess of the Sun called "Ama-Terasu-Ou-Mi-Kami" (heaven-illuminating-great-gracious-god) is enshrined there with other highly-regarded gods, for the Goddess is regarded as the direct ancestor of the Imperial Family.

In the shrine, the most respectful manner of greeting to the gods is said to be as follows, though it might be rare to observe it nowadays.

It is extraordinary, since you are usually expected in a Shinto shrine to perform "bowing two times, clapping your hands two times before your face, and a final bowing all devoutly" to the main inner shrine in the main precincts.

But, exceptionally, in a few prestigious Shinto shrines as authentic as the Grand Shrine of Ise, you are expected to perform clapping of the hand four times in a row.

Indeed, Japanese language is based on quadruple time rhythm. If you foreigners want to speak correct Japanese, you have to master this rhythm.

Otherwise, you cannot fully exercise the most respectful manner of greeting in Japan where in ancient times before introduction of Buddhism people greeted each other by clapping hands before the faith four times or twice.


2. Extraordinary Informality to Great Hero
Mao Tse-tung, the founder of Communist China, respected one Japanese hero when he was young wandering here and there on the Chinese continent in a great chaos since the debacle of the Qing Dynasty.

Mao Tse-tung respected Takamori Saigo, the most popular hero in the Japanese history. Saigo commanded pro-Imperial forces so as to defeat the Tokugawa samurai troops in the late 19th century, which realized the Meiji Restoration and led to full-scale modernization and Westernization in Japan.

One day when Takamori Saigo was still in one of top positions in the Meiji Government, a high-ranking bureaucrat saw Saigo walking toward him on a road in Tokyo.

Takamori Saigo usually neither dressed up nor was accompanied by attendants; but nobody missed him anywhere, since he was the hero who had led pro-Imperial forces to force the Tokugawa clan to surrender without resorting to desperate city fighting within Tokyo.

Though the bureaucrat was walking in Japanese wooden clogs called "Geta," he stopped, took one leg off a clog or a Geta, and put the foot bottom on the instep of another foot still in a clog or a Geta.

HUD's analysis indicates there were 155,623 chronically homeless individuals in 2006, down from 175,914 from the year before - an 11.5 percent decrease."

To achieve this result, it is said that the US Government or Department of Housing and Urban Development had to build or find 4,000 houses for homeless people.

There are many speculations on what was behind the coalition negotiation between Japan's Prime Minister Mr. Yasuo Fukuda and opposition head Mr. Ichiro Ozawa who has changed his mind so as to stay at the current position as he was so much beseeched by other party members though he had announced his will to resign after the failure in persuading his party for the coalition.

My impression is that the manner in which Mr. Ozawa met the US Ambassador to Japan a month ago on termination of a law to allow for Japan's free provision of fuels for US Naval ships in the Indian Ocean must have some influences so that Mr. Ozawa had to take some consequences, whether directly or indirectly, even if it has been simply aimed at Mr. Ozawa's psychological vulnerability.

3. Return of a Son
Everybody knows that Jesus Christ said that even a prodigal and spoiled son should be welcomed by his father when he came back home with a full sense of remorse and humility.

But, once upon a time in India, a son and heir of a very rich family left his parents, his wife, and his home to follow Buddha despite opposition of his family.

One day, he happened to stand at his old home and beg for food. But his father could not realize that the monk with ragged clothes on was his own son so as to kick him out.

Nonetheless a humble maid of the big house never failed in identifying the young and humble monk with her former young master.

She told her surprise to the family, so that the monk's father welcomed his son in ragged clothes into the house and tried to persuade him to return to the old sate of life.

But, the monk did not change his mind despite desperate request from his old family members including his wife.

Nonetheless, Buddha, since this episode, set a rule that a young man must first secure consent of his parents to leave his family and follow Buddha, whether his father is a millionaire or not.

4. Four Commandments
In ancient India, according to prominent Japanese philosopher Hajime Nakamura, there are four percepts for members of society as recorded in a religious book.
1) Give money and goods to the poor and the needy.
2) Use kind and compassionate expressions in speaking.
3) Work and act in order to help others.
4) Properly cooperate with others in various events and situations.
In short, be like a moving wheel of a carriage in society.

These concepts are also adopted in Buddhism.

The core of the teaching is of course: "Don't be a bad millionaire or a bad politician who is just sitting in a carriage on wheels."


(Most of Europeans, European Americans, and Israelite Americans traditionally tend to think that Asians must have been living without any ethics and religions compatible with Judaism or Christianity, living in the tropical jungle without proper clothes on and speaking illogical languages.

On the contrary, far before Judaism and Christianity penetrated into European lives, Indians, Chinese, and Japanese were enjoying a higher level of ethics, art of living, and languages cultivated by religions and philosophies which are superior to Western thinking.

Put simply, the US' deficit of about 760 billion dollars are countered by total 760 billion dollars transferred, funded, invested, or input by other countries including Japan and the oil producing countries.

That is why Japan should be more consulted by the U.S. for the War on Terror initiated in the oil producing countries.

The second figure "(2) INDIRECT GLOBAL MONEY FLOW TO THE US (2005)" tells that financial institutions and the financial industries in the U.K. and Western Europe are helping indirect money flow to the U.S. by collecting investments from Japan, the oil producing countries and so on.

The most important issue is how poor citizens in the U.S. would justify or oppose this huge biased money flow from other countries to the U.S.

Will they like to keep this state so that they can also directly enjoy benefits of this global monetary scheme when they become rich someday?

This is one reason for some businessmen, economists, critics, the media, and politicians in Japan want to change current relationships with various US economic and social sectors.

The oil-producing countries and China should consult Japan in this regard.

Last weekend, in Japan, every media was galvanized on politics, mobilizing many politicians, critics, and personalities.

Japan, the most democratic democracy in Asia, is now entering the two-party system, though not in the form of capitalists vs. socialists but of very pro-US conservatives vs. not-so-very pro-US conservatives.

In Japan, both the communist party and the Social Democratic Party have more than 10 parliament (Diet, or Kokkai in Japanese) members, respectively.

But, the focus is now on the head of the second largest party, the Democratic Party of Japan (Minsyu-tou in Japanese), which has now a chance of realizing change of national administration by defeating the incumbent ruling party, the Liberal Democartic Party of Japan (Jiyu-minsyu-tou or Jimin-tou in Japanese), in the next general election for the Lower House of the Diet.

Specifically, although now the ruling parties command an overwhelming majority in the Lower House (Shugi-in in Japanese) which has superiority to the Upper House in certain key issues, the oppositions have a majority in the Upper House (Sangi-in in Japanese).

Therefore, except specified key issues such as nomination of the prime minister, neither the ruling parties nor the oppositions can get their drafted bills passed in both the Houses, which is absolutely needed for passage of bills such as the "Law to Extend the Service of Japan's Defense Force to Supply Free Fuels and Water to Naval Ships of the Allied Countries such as the U.S. and Pakistan in the Indian Ocean."

To address this difficult situation, Japan's Prime Minister Mr. Yasuo Fukuda offered grand coalition to the head of the largest opposition, the Democratic Party of Japan, Mr. Ichiro Ozawa last week.

Mr. Ozawa was, surprisingly to most of all concerned, willing to accept it, but almost all the other executives of the Democratic Party of Japan were against it, strongly rejecting the adventurous idea of Mr. Ozawa's on forming a coalition cabinet in the emergency conference held after the summit meeting last Friday.

And, yesterday, namely Sunday afternoon, Mr. Ozawa expressed his will to resign from the highest post of the party, though no one has long and colorful experiences in politics that can match Mr. Ozawa's in the Democratic Party of Japan.

The unity of religion and state is a universal tradition of mankind.

In ancient Japan, the Yamato Dynasty heavily relied on authoritative power of emperors in Shinto.

As the Imperial House has survived all through the Japanese history even after the shift of political power from the Imperial Court to the samurai class and clans 1000 years ago, Japanese politicians have still today a kind of deep awe to gods of Shintoism, namely spirits of great ancestors.

Whoever or whatever party or parties get hegemony, unless they are identified at least to a certain minimum degree with the traditional type of politicians in awe of gods of Shinto, they cannot be fully trusted by a majority of Japanese people.

In other words, whoever or whatever party or parties get hegemony in Japan, they must not be able to sell their Japanese souls to foreign devils.

Put simply, no Japanese premier, whoever is elected to the position, can harm the world so much as foreign devils do, since he must be a Shintoist, consciously or unconsciously.

The Head of the Japanese Government should be the one who can be admitted to the most sacred place in any shrine next to the Emperor, no matter what clothes he may put on.

In this context, a US President must be the one who can be the most welcomed in any churches of followers of Jesus Christ by a holy spirit, mustn't he or she?)

A very old man with soiled clothes on took off his shows and threw them down to the river, saying to Zhang Liang (Chou-Ryou in Japanese), a son of a premier of a certain state destroyed by the First Emperor of China, to go and get them back for him.

The First Emperor of China or the Qin Dynasty (Shin in Japanese) was almost killed twice by assassins in the late third century B.C.

The first decisive but failed case, which happened when the First Emperor was still called Ying Zheng the king of the state of Qin, is well known partly due to modern films focused on an attempt by Jing Ke (Kei-Ka in Japanese) a unique warrior of another state destroyed by Qin and without pity cut to death by the king Ying Zheng at site.

But the second assassin Zhang Liang, whose home state had been also destroyed by Qin, changed the history not by succeeding in assassination but by meeting a god of Tao or Taoism after the failed attempt of assassination.

Zhang Liang saved and accumulated money, even sacrificing a funeral for his younger brother, so that he could hire a warrior or a wrestler tough enough to attack the First Emperor of China around 210 B.C.

At last Zhang Liang could hire a professional wrestler to have him throw a 60-pound iron hammer aiming from a distance at a carriage the First Emperor was in during his trip for inspection of his territory, namely the whole China of the era.

The hammer was mightily heaved and thrown from an unobserved spot however only to demolish a carriage behind the Emperor's.

Zhang Liang fled and fled and finally hid in a local town under a fake name.

One day, he was crossing a bridge where a very old man with soiled clothes on was sitting.

Five days later, Zhang Liang came to the bridge at the same hour, but actually he was a little late. The very old man with soiled clothes on got angry, saying "You lack respect for a senior. Come back here five days later."

Five days later, Zhang Liang left his house with the sunrise to come to the bridge, but only found the very old man to be there already who said, "Come back here five days later."

Five days later, Zhang Liang left his house while it was still dark before dawn to come to the bridge, so that he could welcome the very old man who satisfactorily said, "This is the right way. Be humble. Now, I will award to you this secret book of art of warfare which will make you an excellent strategist for a king. I will meet you 13 years later in a certain mountain where you will find a yellow stone which is I." Then the very mysterious old man disappeared.

Zhang Liang eventually became the top strategist of Liu Bang (Ryu-Hou in Japanese) or the first emperor of the Han Dynasty (Kan in Japanese), who fought all the duels, battles, and wars needed to assume the imperial title, demolishing the Qin Dynasty in a corporation with great warrior Xiang Yu (Kou-U in Japanese) and finally defeating Xiang Yu through legendary battles.

One day, following the Emperor of Han, Zhang Liang was ascending a mountain to happen to find a very remarkable yellow stone.

Indeed, it was 13 years later since Zhang Liang had been sternly tested by the very old man with soiled clothes on.

Truly, Zhang Liang is even today recognized as one of the three great aids to Emperor Gaozu, the First Emperor of Han, who is said to have never failed in accepting whatever advice and recommendation Zhang Liang extended to him.

Indeed, we may meet Jesus Christ in disguise of a very old man with soiled clothes on some day.

Truly, I hope we will be able to follow Him, if not so sternly tested as the hero Zhang Liang, since the Han Dynasty is one of Chinese dynasties Japanese felt most affinity to for some reasons.

But, a truly worthwhile report may be like those on poor students being helped in Chicago, poor children being helped in New Orleans, and sick women being saved in Japan.

Buddha's mother died seven days after his birth.

Since then Buddha was nursed and raised by his mother's younger sister.

When Buddha left his royal family for the quest for enlightenment, his foster mother, namely his aunt, was left in the kingdom of their clan.

After Buddha obtained enlightenment, many people came to him to be admitted as his followers and perform the ascetic practices under his guidance.

But, Buddha would not allow any woman to follow him.

When Buddha came to preach in a region near the kingdom of his clan, the king, namely Buddha's father, died. And so many men in the kingdom joined the group of followers of Buddha; and then women in the kingdom thought they had to also join the group as they were now being left alone.

Yet, Buddha would not allow any woman to follow him.

One day even his aunt, already very old, came to him to be admitted as his follower, which was rejected by Buddha. She came to him again only to be rejected. However she tried for the third time only to be rejected.

Ananda, one of the most enlightened followers of Buddha, at last respectfully asked Buddha whether or not a woman could obtain enlightenment if she sternly performed the ascetic practices under guidance of Buddha.

Buddha replied: "Yes, she could."

Observing the grief of the old woman, Ananda with unusual enthusiasm tried to persuade Buddha to admit her into a band of his followers practicing asceticism to achieve enlightenment.

Finally, Buddha conceded. But, Buddha ordered that a female trainee monk must strictly adhere to 348 religious precepts, while a male trainee monk was ordered to strictly adhere to 250 religious precepts.

Anyway, Buddha's aunt, namely his foster mother, became the first female follower so admitted by Buddha in this way.

Since then, many women were allowed to join the religious band guided by Buddha.

You may easily understand why a woman must 1.4 times more strictly adhere to religious precepts than a man must.

If a nun is living an ascetic life and performing a religious training, a devil in a shape of a man would easily come to take advantage of her so as to physically, emotionally, and spiritually attack her.

Jesus Christ did not call a woman to follow Him, either, though He called fishermen and other poor men to follow Him, leaving everything behind.

Jesus Christ did not order men and women to strictly perform religious trainings in a special organization.

What Jesus Christ ordered is to love God and love one's own neighbors without any other additional and situational conditions for the exercise of love.

In my interpretation, the God must have wanted to see how a man could be enlightened for himself without direct help and interference from Him.

The only one who has ever achieved the enlightenment by his own effort was Buddha.

The God sent His son from outside the human world. But, Buddha could reach part of God's realm from inside the human world.

Israelites, Christians, and Muslims should not laugh at Buddha, saying that what he had achieved is not a religion but just a mere philosophy.

If ancestors of Israelites, Christians, and Muslims could have obtained enough enlightenment just like Buddha did unaided, the God or Allah must not have been bothered to send His Spirit, His Son, and His Angel to Abraham, Moses, poor Israelites in the first century, and one blessed Arab.

Finally, modern men must also respect a woman who makes 1.4 times more efforts than a man if she is not his aunt or a foster mother.

Modern women must also understand that a woman's making 1.4 times more efforts than a man is not what a decent man can bear to observe even if she is not his aunt or a foster mother.

If you do not like this Buddhist analysis, you had better follow Jesus Christ who is so benevolent to women.


(I suppose that it is not recommended to reject any woman's request three consecutive times.

But, what is more important is to have somebody like Ananda.

(1) A New Mode of Watches and Clocks

Background of Invention:
Current mainstream watches and clocks are of course to tell a user an hour, a minute, and a second of a day with auxiliary display of a day of the week and a day of the month.

But, there are many old citizens who cannot instantly recall what day or date it is, thus feeling embarrassed or making others embarrassed.

My new mode of watches and clocks display a day of the week and/or a day of the month as its main indication with auxiliary display of an hour, a minute, and a second of a day.

There are various ways to indicate a day of the week and a date as its main information on the surface of a watch and a clock.

In a case of a digital watch or a clock, a text indicating a date can occupy the full surface of the watch or a clock.

In a case of an analog watch or clock, letters meaning days of the week and dates of the month will be put on the surface instead of the numbers indicating hours, 1 to 12, to be pointed at by the hands of a watch or a clock.

(2) A New Internet Protocol

Background of Invention:
When US Defense Department invented this telecommunications protocol, they did not take into serious consideration an intervention by a spy, a use of false identity by a criminal, or a need of confirmation of Internet users, since anticipated users are all military staff well identified situated in a well identified location.

But, as the Internet was made publicly and commercially open, millions of spies, criminals, terrorists, traffickers, drunks, people full of mischief and malice, and irresponsible and immoral people are now using it.

A law enforcement agency in any country desperately needs to get their identification and location in order to prevent damages to a government, legitimate business, and ordinary citizens and also to stop an act of terror.

Now, a new Internet protocol should be introduced at two spheres: one for communications among routers and other public network equipment; and another for computers, cellular phones, and other user equipment.

The key is mandate preservation of record of the originating PC's IP address and those of routers at each node and gateway in each field allocated to such an address in the data structure of every packet or a whole communication data unit to be sent from a sending PC to a receiving PC or a server.

And, if any router working as a gateway for a PC to be connected to the public Internet lacks this function or fails to add the address information of its client PC to a received packet, it should be disabled, excluded, or rejected for connection by other routers in the public Internet. The second router that has received data from the first router, which is directly communicated with the originating client PC, must also add the address of first router to a received packet of data and transferred it to the third router.

This sequence must be continued until a destination PC receives the packet of data sent by the originating PC.

So, one packet must have several or scores of additional fields to record every IP address of a PC and routers that handle and forward the packet.

However, with an increase in transmission speed and capacity of a PC and a router, this must be technically and economically practical and feasible.

Consequently, a mail-receiving or site-connected PC can get information on where its receiving data or its connected site was originated and passed through.

When anonymity is needed, a different scheme shall be authorized and introduced on a contract base between a citizen using the Internet and his/her contracted service provider.

The point is that at least every router, server, or communications equipment working as a gate way to or a node in the public-domain Internet should be globally and clearly identified, authorized, and monitored based on an additional protocol over the normal IP protocol opened for users and consumers with the focus on preservation of full and correct IP addresses of network entities involved in any single communication sequence of data.

This must be the Great Project in the 21st Century of Mankind.

Then, in the 22nd century, mankind will live safely and peacefully on the earth with benefits offered by the total seven Amazons.

2. Kind French
A Japanese tourist to Lyon in France was especially treated kindly by local people.

3. Kind Americans
A Japanese tourist who had traveled alone by car along Route 66 in the Bible Belt of the South in the U.S. told, after his homecoming, his friend that he had found local people there were all kind and law-abiding, though he had expected that he would encounter harsh racial discrimination due to his color of the skin (probably which must be a reason for his traveling to the U.S. South so as to confirm it).

4. Kind Germans
A Japanese student who was studying in France traveled to Germany with her friend from Japan in the summer of 2001.

They were glad to find that Germany was safer than in France where some people had often bothered them by speaking to them (probably since the two looked attractive or easy to cheat).

But, one day in Cologne, when they were walking up a broken and halted moving-staircase, two strange German women on a lower floor began to shout at one of the two Japanese.

The Japanese student thought that the German women must be angry probably because a bag she was carrying on her back with its cord crossing her chest askew as she was too tired to carry it by hand must have hit them.

When the German women found that the two Japanese travelers could not understand the language, they started to walk upstairs to them so alarmingly to the young Japanese women.

So, the Japanese student was prepared to apologize to them; but her friend recently from Japan found the bag was open in a suspicious manner.

The two German women were about to tell her on the very fact.

They eventually kindly led them to a railway police office, since the Japanese student had been robbed of her purse from the bag by a pickpocket.

Now it is 2 p.m. of Sunday in Japan (though this posting to blog will be a few hours later).

I woke up past the noon today for some reasons.

Last night a rare late October typhoon approached the Kanto Plane (with Tokyo at its southern end), bringing much rain.

So, I bought a comic as a rare occasion last night. It is one of the latest versions of "San-Choume-no-Yuhi" (sunset in the third district), which is popular in Japan and even made into a film (http://www.always3.jp/05/ ). From a story in the comic I learnt how to check if a hamster enters into hibernation or gets dead from cold (though I don't want to be bothered by any other creatures than a human being).

Once Tokyo Governor Mr. Shintaro Ishihara said that then Chief Cabinet Secretary Mr. Yasuo Fukuda looked like a head of a girls high school. But, I found Prime Minister Mr. Fukuda of Japan somehow looks like a corporate employee, depicted in a story of "San-Choume-no-Yuhi" created by Mr. Ryouhei Saigan, who has got a late promotion to a manager when he has become 40 years old.

Anyway, as I woke up so late, I thought that the third game of the Major League Baseball's World Series must have been over. Then I checked the New York Times online to find that the game was still in the seventh inning. So, I turned on my flat panel display TV to enjoy the proceeding of the game which has ended with the RedSox's third win. Japanese players caught big attentions, nicely or disappointingly.

(2) Any person who has injureed and robbed other person(s) shall be punished; and
(3) All other laws the Qin Dynasty enforced shall be abolished.

Indeed, each Chinese Dynasty influenced Japan in a unique manner:
1) Qin Dynasty: a personal mission sent by the First Emperor is said to have reached Japan; many Japanese today may be their descendants. Also many refugees from the wars and cruel administrations in the continent are believed to have fled to Japan until Han was established in 202 B.C.

2) Han Dynasty: "Han" is called "Kan" in Japanese. Literally, Japanese "Kan-ji" means "Han's letters." Han occupied and colonized the Korean Peninsula. Queen of Yamato "Himiko" (in the early third century) and other Japanese monarchs and leaders rendered homage to the Han Empire and its minor derivative nations in the mainland China since the first century to the sixth century.

3) Jin Dynasty: The most respected crown prince Shotoku of Japan (around 600) declared spiritual independence of Japan from China in his official letter to the emperor of Jin who was so much provoked not only because he was especially an inhumane emperor among other Chinese emperors in history.

4) Tang Dynasty: The capital of Tang flourished culturally through international trade over the silk road. Japan fought its first international full-scale war (in the late 7th century) against Tang over the hegemony of the Korean Peninsula; nonetheless many Japanese scholars and students visited Tang to study Buddhism as the Imperial Court of Japan was so eager to learn Buddhism and so on from the continent, especially around the 9th century.

As the only female Emperor of China in Tang confirmed sovereignty of Japan after the Tang-Yamato War, its national name could be elegantly changed from "Wa" to "Nihon (Japan)," since "Wa" means meekness but "Ni-hon (sun-source)" means the ground from which the sun rises.

5) Song Dynasty: Trade between Japan and China was growing in various fields while the samurai class got power in Japan. The philosophy developed in Song also deeply affected the cultural aspect of Japan, including Zen and tea.

6) Yuan Dynasty: Mongolians or descendants of Genghis Khan conquered China; they further tried to invade the Italian Peninsula, Egypt, and Japan (the late 13th century) but all failed, though their empire, including the mainland China, was the largest in the human history.

7) Ming Dynasty: Han people drove out Mongolians and established a new empire. They also renewed Confucianism which Japan's samurai class also adopted as its backbone to govern the nation all through the 17th to the 19th century.

8) Qing Dynasty: Manchus, another northern tribe, defeated Han people and occupied the whole Chinese continent. However, its defeat in the Opium War with the U.K. at Hong Kong in 1841 awaked Japan and its samurai regime. Japan opened the door to adopt Western Civilization and even defeated Qing in the Japan-Sino War in 1894 over the hegemony of the Korean Peninsula which was the vital front line to prevent Russia from invading Japan.

Since then, until the Communist Party won hegemony after WWII, China had been in a kind of great chaos. The last emperor of Qing, namely the last emperor in the Chinese history, was put under authority of the Empire of Japan, but survived WWII to live peacefully under the Chinese Communist regime, while Japanese Emperor also survived eventually to be followed by his son as the Emperor of Heisei Era to this date.

Each Chinese Empire is expressed with one Kanji letter, visual appealing of which is really impressive to the Japanese eye.

But, the Yellow River Civilization, early Taoism, and Confucianism were all formed, established, and developed before the era of the First Emperor (the third century B.C.), a half-mad military genius who however dreamed of blessing to be obtained in the holy islands in the east sea which are actually Japan to which he sent a personal mission.

And the best part of the Yellow River Civilization, early Taoism, and basic Confucianism were all imported to Japan so that Japan can claim that it is legitimate successor of the classical Chinese Civilization, since Japan still keeps and preserves many cultural traditions of the Civilization while modern China has lost many of them in its long history of wars, atrocities, and authoritarian ruling.

That is why Japanese feel no difficulty in dealing with Chinese.

If Lao-tze and Confucius live today, they will take Japanese as their direct descendants rather than Chinese under the communist regime.

A Story of A High Priest

Once in India, Buddha himself was traveling around across various kingdoms to save and teach people.

In a certain community just like many others, a group of young people were learning and studying the truth preached by Buddha.

They belonged to an institution managed and supervised by a local lord who had an attractive wife.

Yet, the wife of the local lord one day tried to allure and vamp one of nice young men diligently learning in the institution.

Though so attempted, the young man flatly rejected and left her on the occasion, which upset and enraged her.

She then ripped her clothes and started to violently cry, which brought her husband in a hurry to the site to ask her what had happened on her.

She said that one of the students violated her; her husband got angry and mad to be determined to avenge and punish the young man.

The local lord called the student and ordered that he must kill 500 people in a day as part of his religious training to master the truth Buddha was teaching.

As the young man was so obedient to the seniors and rules of the institution which requested students to fully follow orders their seniors would issue, he took a sword and went out to a street of a town to start to kill people.

Then, he wielded the sword to imbrue it with bloods of many people he was killing as part of his religious practice, since he had been so ordered.

But, when the noon came, he found that he could just kill 100 people or so yet; and not many people were on a street any more.

So, he remembered that his mother was at home at this hour. The diligent student of Buddha's teaching then decided to kill his mother as part of his ascetic training, since he had been so ordered by his supervisor.

But, behold! Buddha himself was then approaching this community, being alerted to atrocity he felt from afar through his divine power. Buddha even sensed that the young man was going to harm his mother fatally. So, Buddha came upon the young man hurrying with the sword on his way to home.

The young man saw a very senior person hurrying toward him. With suspicion, he asked, "Why are you hurrying, Sir?" Buddha replied, "I am not hurrying; I am standing. Why can't you stop moving?" The young man said, "I am not moving, sir; I have stopped to talk to you." Buddha said to the young man, "Look at me and you yourself!"

Then the young man could see that it was Buddha himself that he was talking with. Then suddenly he realized what a horrible crime he was engaged in. He came to himself, dropping the sword down on the ground as he stopped hurrying along a circle with Buddha at its center standing still on the road.

At the moment, the king of the country arrived at the site, leading his soldiers to arrest the mad student live or dead, though the background of the atrocity was understood. Yet, the king, as Buddha was taking the young murderer with him to cleanse his soul, decided to let him go with Buddha.

Later, the young man became a highly regarded ascetic monk and eventually understood the truth to become a high priest authorized by Buddha.

But, no one knows what happened with the local lord and his wife in the kingdom for ever.

All I want to say is to stop suicide bombings.

Indeed, Muslims must stop suicide bombings in Afghanistan.

Truly, AlQaeda and the Taliban must not have blown off the Great Statutes of Buddha in Bamiyan in Northern Afghanistan in the spring of 2001.



(I don't know how proud Europeans would learn and study the teaching of Buddha. But, Jesus Christ never forbade it, for your sake.)

In Confucianism and Buddhism, there are the same teachings as Moses' and Jesus Christ's.

The Five Confucian Virtues and the Five Precepts of Buddhism commonly defined:
1. Humaneness: Do not kill.
2. Righteousness: Do not indulge in wicked lustfulness.
3. Propriety: Do not drink alcohol.
4. Wisdom: Do not steal.
5. Sincerity: Do not lie.

Almost every teaching found in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam is found in teachings of Confucianism and Buddhism, which is part of common sense in Japan but must be astonishment to ordinary Israelites, Christians, and Muslims.


(Now, you do not have to mind being a Japanese or becoming a member of any other communities the culture of which is based on Judaism, Christianity, or Islam.

All you have to do is to wait for the coming of the Messiah.)

Everybody wants to be rich all over the world, since they like to have big money.

Israelites want to be rich; Christians want to be rich; Muslims want to be rich; Hindus want to be rich; Chinese want to be rich; and Japanese want to be rich.

That is why super-rich Americans in New York and Washington D.C. never respect Muslims, Hindus, Chinese, and Japanese in addition to poor Americans.

In order for Asians and poor Americans to cope with this type of arrogant super-rich Americans in New York and Washington D.C., they have to know that the only way is to strengthen their spiritual tradition that can teach them how to avoid tragedy the desire for big money would cause on them.

Then, Asians and poor Americans will not be fatally damaged if the US economy and the Wall Street should bring about mighty depression globally in future.

It tells actually that almost every teaching presented in the Bible can be found in the teachings of great religious figures in Asia.

As for today, since I find some interesting teachings in ancient India, I will write down them:

Ethics for a husband toward his wife:
(1) Respect his wife as he respects a god.
(2) Do not despise his wife.
(3) Do not be unethical to his wife by associating with other women.
(4) Exercise authority on his wife.
(5) Provide adornments for his wife.

Ethics for a wife toward her husband:
(1) Manage well her work.
(2) Treat well her family members.
(3) Do not be unethical to her husband at all.
(4) Protect wealth earned.
(5) Be wise, smart, skillful, and diligent on what is entrusted to her.

If all the husbands and wives in Asia and US poor communities are better than those in Washington D.C. and the Wall Street, super-rich Americans will not be able to become richer by sacrificing Muslims, Hindus, Chinese, and Japanese as well as poor Americans any more.

So, do not be unethical or unethical at all, since these commandments match the teachings by Moses and Jesus Christ.
