It is a Saturday night in Japan now.

Accordingly, I heard a TV news reporting that Japan has completed its aid mission to Russia in dismantling 80 nuclear-powered submarines having been operated by the Soviet Union Navy during the Cold War.

Actually, it is tantamount to Japan's destroying 80 of USSR submarines during the WWIII which however did not happen. The Japanese peace policy truly saved the Far East, though Russia contaminated some part of the Sea of Japan with many rotten nuclear reactors inside those rusty submarines.


SECTION I: F = a*A + b*B

It is very rare that any incident in this world depends on only one factor, as you experience in your daily life.

F = a x A is very rare, as you experience in your daily life,

where "F" is, say, your income; "A" is your ability in your profession; and "a" is a variable coefficient that can increase or decrease the effect of A.

Rather, F = (a x A) + (b x B) is the norm, as you can easily infer,

where "B" is a policy of the central bank/government and "b" is a variable coefficient that can increase or decrease the effect of B.

In most cases, "b" is very small, resulting in "b x B" being almost null.

Thus, most of ordinary people think, assuming b = 0,
F = a x A.

But, most of economists claim, assuming a = 0,
F = b x B.

Yet, the truth is with both "a" and "b" being significant or not zero:
F = a*A + b*B,

which means you need a concept called a threshold level beyond which it is definitely F = a*A + b*B.

You, ordinary people and economists, need a concept called a threshold level above which it looks definitely F = a*A or F = b*B.

(Ex. With your ability worth $10,000 (A) and a need for you expressed with a multiplier 3 (a), your income is :
F = a*A = 3 x $10,000 = $30,000 per year.)

Many economists cannot understand that any economic item consists of two terms:
F = (a term formulated by economics) + (a term economists cannot understand)

Here, F can be a real economic situation.

Japan Post Group, as a financial institute, has the largest assets among the top global banks. This Japanese banking company, now controlled by the Japanese Government, has $3.67 trillion assets.

It has been a focal point of political games in Japan since Mr. Junichiro Koizumi was elected as prime minister in 2001, calling drastic reformation including the postal system.

Until the 30-8-2009 general election held last summer, the Japanese Government run by the Liberal Democratic Party had pushed forward privatization of this originally state-run post-saving bank, though before huge money deposited there by the diligent Japanese people was fully operated in the money market, including Wall Street, the Lehman Shock occurred in September 2008.

Now, as the stocks of the Japan Post Group are 100% owned by the Government, it is busy faithfully buying bonds the Government has issued.

Yet, it looks still too early to sell 100% of the stocks of Japan Post Bank Co., Ltd. in the stock market.

Nonetheless, it might be not so wise for the Government to 100% insulate its stocks, expected to have an aggregate market price worth several hundreds billion dollars, from the market.

Now you know partly why the LDP lost the general election in August 2009, one year after the Wall Street collapse in 2008, since then Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso drove out Minister Mr. Kunio Hatoyama, a younger brother of incumbent Prime Minister Mr. Yukio Hatoyama but an LDP member (till a few days ago), from the Cabinet in June 2009, as Mr. Kunio Hatoyama was against all-out privatization of Japan Post, attacking then President of Japan Post Mr. Nishikawa in the Diet hearings so persistently.

It is anti-Koizumi veteran Minister Mr. Shizuka Kamei of the Kokumin-Shinto Party that is now in charge of the postal service system and Japan Post Group, though the Democratic Party of Japan led by P.M. Mr. Yukio Hatoyama once had a policy for promotion of reformation.

Finally, it is not so easy for Wall Street guys to exploit $3.67 trillion savings the Japanese people have entrusted to every local post office in Japan over 140 years.

Fifteen years ago, I was in a car of a Tokyo metropolitan subway train.

It was the morning that sarin gas attacks were carried out to Tokyo commuters by a crazy religious group.

At an interchange station underground, a next line for me was halted for some emergency like a fire. So I went back to the previous line to get on another train to a nearby station to my destination.

There I got off and walked upstairs to the main street to advance and find a helicopter flying low over a subway station ahead, my usual destination, surrounded by business bildings. A pocket-size radio receiver I listened to through an earphone was breaking an emergency news about a gas accident or so in some stations including the right one for me, which was actually a sarin gas effect.

Nothing memorable other than this incident happened on that business day between two public holidays, since I made a little trip next day in 1995...

Total 6,300 people were injured and 13 people were killed on March 20, 1995, by the Sarin attack on the Tokyo subway, specifically, targeting elite bureaucrats working at Kasumigaseki.

Last night, I saw a small pick-up-type car running with the license plate number "77-77." Then I started to check cars running around more carefully to find those with "80-80," and "1."

As cars in Japan has each such a four-, three-, two-, or one-digit numeric expression as the main part of license ID, these figures are more visible than other elements of the car ID.

GLOBE - The UAE Ministry of Water and Environment has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Kinki University in Japan to cultivate Pacific bluefin tuna in the UAE.

“This is the first collaboration of this type between Japan and the UAE,” Senator Hiroshige Seko, also Deputy Chairman of Kinki University, told Khaleej Times. According to the news organisation, he noted that traditional relations for both countries were primarily on the oil and financial sectors.

The MoU says that specialists from Kinky University will conduct a feasibility study on the possibility of bluefish farming in the UAE.

The Governor of the Bank of Japan today talked about commodity prices and business condition when asked about deflation.

However, the reason why deflation is wrong is that it leads to an overpowering downward trend of wages and salary, while there are so many products and services whose prices never go down along with a general trend of deflation. It means a drop in living standard. It also works very advantageously to the rich, eventually.

If workers, consumers, and tax payers have sufficient money, they will buy more, softening the adverse effect of deflation.

What the Governor of the Bank of Japan should talk about in a context of deflation is earned income in addition to unemployment.

Economists, including the Governor of the Bank of Japan, should learn Jesus' economics.

Now nobody says in the U.S. and Japan that we are in the largest economic crisis in these 100 years, any more.

However we have been in there:

The above figure tells that mankind now uses twice more electricity than in 1985, the great year for Japan though forced to face the Plaza Accord.

Without electricity, Americans today must be still hunting thousands of whales in the Pacific Ocean to take out whale oil from dead bodies of the marine mammals for lamps like the era before the great inventor Thomas Edison.

However, it is interesting that the global use of electricity has been so increasing constantly over time.

And, electricity means energy released to the air or the surrounding atmosphere not only from generators and power facilities but also from equipment that uses electric power. Accordingly, it is inevitable that the temperature is influenced to an upward trend, though the earth's cooling potential must surpass it with a great margin. Yet, electricity itself can be a stronger factor for some global warming around 2000 than derivative CO2.

Anyway, it looks like that as President Mr. Barack Obama and Prime Minister Mr. Yukio Hatoytama do not express a sense of crisis in these days, they are losing wider support from citizens.

(The Japanese media report recently that an approval rate for the Japanese Prime Minister has fallen around 30%...)


SECTION II: BRICs?

In Brazil, gangsters are harassing citizens as much as in Mexico. But, Japanese polices can arrest gangsters only because they possess hand guns, since such possession itself is illegal.

In Russia, there are no laws to regulate and prevent insider transactions in the stock market. But, Japan has strict regulations as much as the U.S. has.

In India, a kind of social segregation and discrimination is widely practiced based on the caste system like in the U.S. when no African Americans have a voting right. But, Japan is even studying whether it should give a local voting right to some foreign residents (however it is too early to implement the idea to allow for wider political activities in Japan by Chinese and Koreans who refuse to become a naturalized citizen of Japan).

In China, its prime minister attends a press conference only once a year. But, the Japanese prime minister answers questions from media reporters everyday which is nationwide televised.

Japan has been the largest and best ally to the U.S. not only because it is the second largest and strongest economic power in the world.

Japan understands the American democracy based on American Christianity more than BRICs do.

Americans should not try to shake hands with Mexican drug dealers or the like in BRICs but enhance, enrich, and expand the U.S.-Japan friendly and security relationships.


SECTION III: Economics?

Once even very rich people got poor to be one of ordinary people.

However after the Great Depression and especially after WWII, it has become very rare that any rich men truly fell down and out as long as their wealth is protected by established political systems, invested into proper industrial activities, and operated in the financial sector and the money market.

Their only concern is bankruptcy of a nation, since a government can tax them and even fail in avoid inflation, risking the net value of their wealth.

John Maynard Keynes must have simply saved the British Empire or the British Empire dominant world from bankruptcy, while he studied Marxism very much and understood a great mission of saving the poor. Yet, he did not call the rich into sacrifice for the poor.

Economists today have been learning economics which has developed with the above background.

Today's economics is not designed to make the poor rich.

However, the only sane end of the economics is to make the poor rich.

Ask economists whether they are studying economics to make the poor rich. They will be surely puzzled, since they are brainwashed by the underlying aim of the modern economics.

Economics is regarded as effective if it can find a way to avoid tax increase on the rich and a bankruptcy of a nation which can harm rich men's living. Today's economics never helps the poor, since it is designed to serve the rich.

Conversely, as Mr. Barack Obama was not an economist, he was elected as President of the U.S.

Jesus Christ taught that money cannot be a solution, though it makes people falsely believe that money has fixed a problem.

However, as s spiritual level of "money users" gets lower, the money users falsely truly believe that money has fixed a problem, since their mind gets so degraded.

This love includes even forgiveness to an enemy, if you cannot easily bless your enemy.

SECTION III: Caught in a Dilemma

Somebody said on a TV screen that Mr. Karl Rove looked like a Japanese soldier who had continued his mission alone in the jungle of an island in the South Pacific for decades after WWII (believing that the war was still going on since no surrender was possible for the Empire of Japan).

A 95-year old man was lying alone in a small room of an apartment house originally built for day laborers at Yokohama poor men's district.

A medical doctor came to check him, saying to a TV camera that every two and a half days an old man living alone in this district dies.

The balance of the industrial power and capability among these five nations is also important in terms of security and politics in the world.

In addition, Japan is the only peaceful country among G5, without nuclear weapons.

It is also noteworthy that each of G5 has different religious backgrounds: Japan with unique Buddhism, the U.S. with Christianity/Judaism complex, India with Hinduism. Russia with orthodox Christianity, and China Marxism/Taoism complex.

Of course, outside this domain, EU and Islamic nations will claim their dominant presence and leadership in technology and crude oil, with the Vatican and Mecca as their religious centers. So, we may call them Region 2.

G5 + R2 are truly responsible for avoiding another 2001 9/11 Terror and another Lehman Shock.

In other word, America cannot win G4 + R2 anymore.

A 24-year-old son did not want to join the army. But, his German born father sternly recommended him to do so.

As the father invented a new method to produce strong wire ropes used for a suspension bridge and remarkably succeeded in application to Niagara, he got in charge of designing and supervising a 5,989 foot (1825 m) long bridge over the East River called the Brooklyn Bridge in 1867.

Yet, during measurement work, he was injured and subsequently died.

However, his son succeeded the father to be eventually and unfortunately injured himself in underwater work for engineering the basement of a tower of the bridge.

His German American wife then studied civil engineering and helped him until the completion of the Brooklyn Bridge in 1883.

The story of John Roebling (1806-1869) and his son Washington Roebling (1837-1926) symbolizes the start of the Era after the Civil War.

1. Anti-American Stance of P.M. Mr. Yukio Hatoyama

Why is Prime Minister Mr. Yukio Hatoyama anti-American, while he is a grandson of the founder of the tire giant Bridgstone and also of the former prime minister of Japan?

The Bridgestone-Ford problem that arose from car accidents in the U.S. might have some influence on him, since the American media attacked the Japanese tire maker Bridgestone excessively.

But, Mrs. Miyuki Hatoyama, wife of Mr. Yukio Hatoyama, might be another factor. She worked as a waitress in a restaurant in New York where she met Mr. Yukio Hatoyama when he was studying in a certain American graduate school. Mrs. Hatoyama was then married with her first husband. She must not have been rich. She might have a bad memory in New York.

Another point to be noted is Mr. Yukio Hatoyama's son has been working in a university in Moscow, since the one of the grandfather of Mr. Yukio Hatoyama made great contribution to normalization of the Japan-Soviet relationship after WWII.


2. Anti-Bureaucratic Stance of DPJ Director-General Mr. Ichiro Ozawa

Why is Director-General of the Democratic Party of Japan Mr. Ichiro Ozawa so anti-bureaucratic?

Bureaucrats of Japan are very different from those in Anglo-Saxon countries. Japanese elite bureaucrats live on tradition of samurais who governed Japan before its Westernization in the late 19th century. Though the era of samurai regimes had gone, most of samurais and their descendants continued to occupy important positions of the Imperial Government (elite bureaucrats were however selected through open but hard examinations). Even after WWII, this tradition has not changed. Most of elite bureaucrats of Japan graduate from the University of Tokyo or other ex-imperial universities. So, they do not respect ordinary people who graduate from ordinary universities.

Yet, Mr. Ichiro Ozawa did not graduate from the University of Tokyo. He must have been angry with hidden contempt of those elite bureaucrats all through his political life as national lawmaker for 40 years. Accordingly, he looks like being eager to harm and destroy the pride of elite bureaucrats of Japan. As Mr. Ozawa is now de-facto No.1 politician of the ruling DPJ, he can lead his followers in the National Diet to demolish the structure of the bureaucratic domain.


3. NHK TV Documentary Program on Toyota in 2006

When Toyota's President Mr. Akio Toyoda recently came back from his tested tour to the U.S. and China, he made an unusual TV live appearance in Tokyo, admitting that Prius could not stop as expected by a driver but it would further move forward two feet due to a 0.06 sec problem of a program inside Prius, which I pointed at in this blog.

However, the real issue could be clearly seen in an NHK TV documentary film broadcast in 2006 when Toyota started to build pickup trucks in Texas, USA.

At the time, the number of Toyota cars subject to recall was alarmingly increasing. The number of recalled Toyota cars at the time was almost as many as Toyota cars sold in Japan annually.

In 2001, Toyota's sales in the American market were less than GM's and Ford's.

Toyota should have kept the level while enhancing quality of its products.

Anyway, it was interesting that History Channel presented yesterday this TV report through a cable TV provider around Tokyo yesterday, very timely.

More interestingly, Toyota's President Mr. Akio Toyoda looks like learning a lesson, since he addressed directly 9,000 workers in a big hall of Toyota's headquarters in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. He explained the situation his company now faces candidly after he returned from Tokyo. As he had been very seclusive from the Media and Toyota's employees before, it looks like a big change for improvement.

It is no wonder that somebody viewing the EEE-Reporter blog has informed Toyota's senior current or ex-directors, including Mr. Akio Toyoda's father and his uncle, of this serious concern of EEE Reporter.

He had no money, no titles, no ties with authority and rich men, no educational backgrounds, no past experiences of any sort to be identified as suitable for a hero, and no force of arms.

What's more, Israelites and Judaists say that what he preached was nothing new at all or something new but a kind of nonsense.

Yet, many people thought that He was a kind of rabbi, so that they listened to Him.

If the Bible had only presented contents of His preaching, how many Roman citizens would have believed in Him being the Son of God. The New Testament was written with expectation that it would be read by Roman citizens. But, could such Bible gain many followers of Jesus Christ among Roman citizens in the first century?

Besides, there had been many ancient Greeks who had talked about excellent philosophy Romans subsequently respectfully learned. Words of Jesus Christ alone might not have appealed to Romans.

But, Jesus Christ travelled around, preaching the Gospel and performing miracles.

He had no money, no titles, no ties with authority and rich men, no educational backgrounds, no past experiences of any sort to be identified as suitable for a hero, and no force of arms.

But, He could perform miracles, which decided characteristics of the Gospels.

When Roman citizens saw any little miracle around themselves that could be associated or linked with faith in Jesus Christ, they definitely consolidated their belief in Jesus Christ and never left it.

Yes, it is miracles that acted as an interface between Jesus Christ and non-Hebrew believers for these 2000 years as well as His contemporary people.

Therefore, those who love to talk about holy miracles are only genuine Christians even today, though Jesus Christ said that those who do not believe never believe if they see a miracle.

For example, Jesus Christ never touched or used money during His mission but did not forbade His followers to touch or use money. He did not save poor people by giving big money which He must have been able to get, as He is the Son of God. No miracles happened around Jesus Christ in terms of money, except, for instance, a silver coin in the mouth of a certain fish His possible follower caught from the water following His direction.

So, this is an inconclusive conclusion of a thought about Jesus Christ and miracles as well as money.

Whatever religion you might observe officially or personally, it can be simply regarded as a practice of your obligation to your ancestors.

As any religion has an inception, it must have a vanishing point.

It is called the Kingdom of God.

ARROGANCE OF MONEY


If you do not think you have to challenge conventional wisdom of economics, you cannot solve the matter.

Without being revolutionary enough, you cannot be a savior of economy.

An ordinary economist would say with contempt to others: "Take this measure, and then economy will be improved."

But, the fact or reality that the government, banks, and businesses cannot take the measure such an economist recommends is the core of the situation. By turning the blind eye to the fact or reality, such an economist thinks that his theory is complete and authentic.

But, such an economist must decide which is more foolish, himself or the government, banks, and businesses. He would surely think that the government and so on are fools because they do not follow his advice to make economy better.

This sort of attitudes seems to be only condoned in the economics sector, yet making economists more foolish and arrogant.

Rich men, very rich men, and super rich men do not mind improvement of economy. They want to continue to be rich themselves. They do not mind economy. They mind their money. They have no reason to cooperate with the government to improve economy. Yet, they have strong influences on many politicians, since they are rich, very rich, and super rich. Accordingly, key bureaucrats and high-ranking officials of the government serve them without putting the highest priority on improvement of general economy, expecting high returns from those rich men or wishing to members of those rich men's community.

What rich men, very rich men, or super rich men have ever fallen down to a state of poverty or day laborers due to an economic slump? So many cycles of the boom and recession have not made rich men, very rich men, or super rich men poor, since they have made every effort to continue to be rich by sacrificing the general economy of a nation and nations.

So, an economist who cannot face this fact and reality is useless. It is so, since economics is not aimed at making the rich poor and the poor rich, which is however is the only solution to realize a sate where the general economy is judged to be truly improved.

If 10% of the population who are quite rich would not like improvement of the national economy, the economy never gets improved. It is so, since this 10% of quite rich people can control 70% to 80% of the national economy.

Anyway, such an economist must try to study why people do not follow his theory and advice without ascribing it to foolishness of the people, since the one who looks foolish and arrogant is such an economist himself.

Finally, if, on average, every one has $133,000 in Japan (population: 120 million) and $146,000 in USA (population: 300 million), what economic theory is needed to achieve a goal of economics?

Japanese households have total $16 trillion assets, while U.S. households have total $44.4 trillion.

However, currency and deposits account for 54.9% of the assets held by total Japanese households.

In contrast, currency and deposits account for just 14.4% of the assets held by total American households.

Shares and equities account for 6.9% of the assets held by total Japanese households.

In contrast, shares and equities account for 31.3% of the assets held by total American households.

At least, one thing is clear according to sound commonsense: any same economics cannot simply apply to both Japan and the U.S., which economists cannot understand, since they think money and desire are universal.

When Edwin Reischauer (1910-90) was American ambassador to Japan between 1961 and 1966, a minister from an African nation visited Japan to find that most of Japanese elites did not speak English. The African minister complained to Reischauer of his disappointment, saying, "Are there any educated persons in Japan?"

The U.S. Ambassador who spoke fluent Japanese said, "Higher education in Japan has been provided based on Japanese, since every text book used in universities is all written in Japanese. (They do not have to be good at spoken English.)"

The African minister was so surprised saying, "It is impossible!"

I think economists today look like this African ambassador who believed that European civilization had no counterpart in the world, so that translation of European cultural work into any local language was impossible. For him and other European-colonized Africans and Asians, to be educated means to go and study in Europe or America.

I really think that economists today look like this African minister who did not know the higher cultural level of Japan.

It has been rainy today.

At night or a few hours ago, I went out to a drugstore nearby to buy some foods (discounted for the time zone), vitamin drinks, a tea bottle, etc.

A young pharmacist operated a cash register to sum them up. I watched the display for purchaser's confirmation to find it to be 1,000 yen.

I said to her, "It is just 1,000 yen." She said, "Yes, great! It has never happened. But, some are discounted..."

I received a bill of receipt, though she looked feeling like keeping it, and went out into the damp air on the street.

Yet, on the average base, she is assumed to have 12 million yen or $133,000, as you know.

Use of Power or Crucifixion

Jesus Christ was arrested by Roman soldiers.

In other world, if followers of Jesus Christ had overwhelmed Roman soldiers with their arms and weapons, the arrest, the trial, and the crucifixion should not have been possible.

In this context, Christianity is subject to arms and weapons or self-defense ability.

However, the lesson is that a man engaged in a holy mission must not face evil forces with any defence forces, as exemplified by Jesus Christ. He must solely rely on God who manifests His glory through any worldly tragedy, such as the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and the great earthquakes in Haiti and Chile.

With this background, what I can present today is as follows:

SECTION I: G2 - China & USA

In Japan, critics now judge that the boom of G2 in the White House and Wall Street is dwindling down.

Some even say that China is going to try to overwhelm the U.S. with military expansion. China has a plan to equip itself with more arms and weapons than America. As the first step, Beijing will try to overwhelm Taiwan with its military power, so that Taipei will not even try to protest when the Chinese military of the large scale lands on the Taiwan island some day.

It will be the moment, in the plan of the Chinese Communist Party, that the U.S. will realize that it cannot stop or stand against China with military forces.

The Taiwanese military will surrender without fight; America will avoid defeat in war with China over Taiwan; and Japan will support China...Beijing might be musing so.

However, in my view, the Chinese Communist Party will have to face a new revolution on its land before starting its armed venture into Taiwan.



(From the beginning, China today is based on revolution but not legitimacy in history. So, it cannot claim Taiwan as its own. Taiwan's independence is also a revolution against hegemony of China. As China is authentic, if appropriate to say so, independent Taiwan is all the more authentic.)



SECTION II: TRUTH AFTER BURIAL OF JESUS CHRIST

It must have been brothers of Jesus Christ that carried out secretly the corpse of Jesus Christ from the tomb He had been placed in after the crucifixion.

They took the dead body of Jesus Christ to their home town or tomb in Galilee.

And then, they kept silent all about it to date.

However, it is also likely that it was His brothers that Jesus Christ met on the Mt. Olive where St. Peter and other two disciples followed Him.

On the mountain, Jesus Christ and His brothers must have arranged what to do after the inevitable Crucifixion.

And, the rest of the story was wrote down in the Bible.

Yet, a miracle must have happened in these passages and proceedings.

It is even possible that two brothers played a role of Jesus Christ.

Or, you may believe that Jesus Christ came back to life actually to go out of the tomb with His brothers to eventually travel to Damascus, Alexandria, Rome, or Mecca for some preparation.



SECTION III: U.S. Marines in Okinawa

The U.S. Marine Corps in Okinawa can be dispatched to Taiwan to defend the island nation from China.

The U.S. Marine Corps in Okinawa can be dispatched to South Korea to defend the peninsula country from North Korea.

They can also act to evacuate American citizens living or working in China, Taiwan, and Korea from the regions in case of emergency.

But, Japan does not need U.S. Marines for its defence from China and North Korea.

What Japan needs is hundreds of U.S. Patriot missile squadrons and the U.S. Seventh Fleet to patrol on the water between Japan and China, Taiwan, South Korea, North Korea, and Russia.

However, if Taiwan and South Korea ask Japan to keep U.S. Marines in Okinawa, Japan may respect their solicitation. Or, if America solicits Japan for continued admission of U.S. Marines in Okinawa for global re-deployment of U.S. forces, Japan may respect the solicitation.

Yet, the Hatoyama Cabinet should review the whole Japan-U.S. security relationship with an eye on China's military expansion that cannot be condoned. Prime Minister Mr. Yukio Hatoyama must tell China to stop military expansion and then America to reduce its presence in Okinawa. The Futenma Marine base issue is a secondary matter in this context.

Anyway, no one will be fully satisfied with whatever solution the Japanese Government will offer to the U.S. Government, Okinawa residents, and other people concerned in Japan, Asia, and the world.


SECTION IV: Islamic Film About Jesus

Iranians made a film to claim that Jesus Christ was not crucified at all.

Thus we have the following startling claims made in the movie:

1. Jesus was not crucified, and instead was was saved the night of the last supper and taken directly up to Heaven.

2. Another - Judas Iscariot, one of the 12 apostles - was crucified in His place. The film maker offers evidence in the Koran for this, as well as The Gospel of Barnabas.

3. Jesus was only a prophet of God - nothing more. He did not claim to be, nor does the evidence point to Him as the Son of God.

4. Jesus allegedly "talked about Mohammad many, many times." What if any supporting evidence is there for this assertion?

5. The producer refers in great detail to a so-called "Gospel of Barnabas". Did such a gospel exist at the time of the New Testament gospels, and can it be trusted as an authoritative document?

Of course, as Christians nowadays are used to make stupid films on Jesus Christ, such as "The Passion of the Christ," Muslims would not feel any trouble in making their version of "Jesus Christ story."

But, remember that the 1998 film on Jesus Christ "The Last Temptation of Christ" can be regarded as one factor for the 2001 9/11 Terror; and the 2004 film "The Passion of the Christ" can be as one for the 2008 9/15 Lehman Shock, in religious terms.

So, this film "Jesus, the Spirit of God" or "The Messiah" made in Iran in 2008 can be a factor for something vastly influential in future.

If hundreds of followers and believers had been around Jesus Christ day and night on alert, it should have been very difficult for Roman soldiers to arrest him, since in that case even Judas should have been unable to find a moment when Jesus Christ was alone or only accompanied by twelve poor men.

If somebody had informed Jesus Christ or His followers of the coming arrest or ongoing conspiracy, Jesus Christ might have avoided the arrest.

But, no such things happened, while the Son of God must have had the ability to make them happen.

So, the only conclusion is that Jesus Christ opted to be arrested, tried, and crucified.

But, for what?

It is because it was the only way to make His followers truly believe in Him. The followers who still believed in Him despite such a tragedy were true believers only from whom Christianity could develop.

Accordingly, if you cannot find divinity in the arrest, the trial, and the crucifixion which could have been avoided by simply mobilizing 100 or so armed guards, you are still not a Christian expected by Jesus Christ, in my humble view. This constitutes the basic definition of a Christian.
