"he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd" - The Image of Christ Jesus on the Cross against Satan

The Image of Christ Jesus on the Cross against Satan

The symbol of Christianity showing Christ Jesus on the cross is also a symbol showing evil and horrible power of Satan.  It does not display power and victory of the God or Christ Jesus over Satan.  To preset Their power and victory, Satan should be displayed under the cross.

Yet, churches may claim that the image of Christ Jesus on the cross shows love of Christ Jesus to everyman.  However, if you do not know the Gospels and the life of Christ Jesus depicted in the Gospels, you cannot immediately understand that the image of Christ Jesus on the cross present His love exercised until His death to everybody.

However, the image of Christ Jesus on the cross is not happy or pleasant one.  It really tells that Satan could kill Christ Jesus on the cross 2000 years ago.  If you do not know the Gospels, you do not know that Christ Jesus was resurrected three days after the death on the cross.  But the image of Christ Jesus on the cross does not present victory of Christ Jesus against death and Satan.

The image of Christ Jesus on the cross is a suffering Jesus.  Should we be glad and happy to see Christ Jesus on the cross made suffering by Satan due to our sins?  How should we interpret the image of Christ Jesus on the cross?

It is the symbol to warn us about power of Satan.  It is also the symbol of love of Christ Jesus who did not exercise His punishing power to men who followed Satan and killed Him on the cross because He loved all the men so much, which Satan must not have expected.  Satan knowing power of the Son of God, namely Christ Jesus, must have expected that He should use His power to destroy men who followed Satan.  But Christ Jesus forgave those followers of Satan till His death on the cross.  Satan should not have minded if Christ Jesus have destroyed Satan's followers, since other people watching the power and the anger of Christ Jesus would have more fear than love to Christ Jesus.  Then, Christianity should be called later a religion of power and anger of the Son of God.  But, as Christ Jesus forgave those followers of Satan with love to them, Christianity became a religion of love.  In this context, the image of Christ Jesus on the cross symbolizes love of Christ Jesus.  Due to this love, Christianity became a religion of love.

The image of Christ Jesus on the cross is telling first that Satan is so dangerous as to kill even the Son of God on the cross and secondly that He forgives and loves everybody including followers of Satan who is trying to kill Him on the cross.  Indeed, Christ Jesus on the cross is a victim of Satan.  And we are expected to see His love to us as Christ Jesus continues to love us while being victimized by Satan.

We are required, when seeing the image of Christ Jesus on the cross, to remember evil and horrible power of Satan and unbelievable love of Christ Jesus to us.  We should remember that Satan and its followers put Christ Jesus on the cross whenever seeing the image of Christ Jesus on the cross.

Put simply, we have to receive an alarming message against Satan when we see the image of Christ Jesus on the cross.  However, followers of Christ Jesus should be happier if it was the image of Satan that was on the cross.

3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

"The harvest truly is great" - The Gospels are Holy Books to Tell Truth and Save the Poor

Tokyo

The Gospels are Holy Books to Tell Truth and Save the Poor

The Bible is a book of spiritualism as, for example, the Act describes work of the holy spirit after the crucifixion of Christ Jesus:
Acts 2, King James Version
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Works of Swedenborg, Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, Raymond Moody, etc., where spirits, the life after death, near-death experiences, etc. are described and reported, can be easily understood by the faithful and believers in Christ Jesus.

In other words, faithful men believe in spirits, the life after death, near-death experiences as well as the sprit world, Heaven, and the hell.  They should believe that they are allowed to enter Heaven and enjoy eternal life.  Therefore, faithful men are not afraid of death, since Christ Jesus said that their enemies, including Satan, could not put them in the hell although they might kill their bodies in this world.

The Gospels teaches:
A man has a soul in addition to its body.  When his body dies, his soul enters into the spirit world and then is accepted into Heaven.  Finally his soul is given eternal life.

It is so simple.  But the core of the teachings of Christ Jesus lies in that poor and faithful men are accepted into Heaven but rich and evil men are condemned to the hell.  This is partly supported in works of Swedenborg.  But other people who experienced communications with spirits and near-death experiences did not focus on this point.  They are just satisfied by observing dead men going into the spirit world and looking happy there.  They do not focus on salvation of poor people by telling them that poor men can be accepted in Heaven to acquire eternal life.

The Bible is not a mere book of spiritualism but a holy book to tell truth about good news on the spirit world and Heaven to poor people so that they can be consoled, relieved, and feel happy in a hope for the afterlife.

"Then touched he their eyes" - A Buddhist Monk Talking with Dead Men's Souls

A Tokyo Subway Line

A Buddhist Monk Talking with Dead Men's Souls

A certain Japanese Buddhist monk wanted to confirm for himself that souls of dead men were existent and alive after bodily death in this world as he often attended funeral services in these decades, although Buddhism he believed in assured existence of the afterlife of dead men's souls.  Finally, he got confidence that souls existed after death.

He aimed at collecting 2000 cases of funeral services for his personal investigation to make it meaningful statistically.  He talked in mind to souls of dead men in funeral services.  As time went by, he felt sure that he could feel what dead men's souls think or make conversations with them.  He made records and took note of these experiences.

To make it sure that he had really made communications with a dead man's soul in a funeral service, he talked with family members of the deceased after a funeral service and compared what he had known from the dead man's soul through spiritual communications with witness of his bereaved family.  Those family members usually got surprised at the monk's obtaining various information of the deceased (from their souls), although the monk usually came to funeral services without knowing who and what the deceased were.

In one case, the monk felt strange spiritually to the deceased lying in a casket while reading the sutras in a funeral service.  To the monk spiritually speaking to the soul of the dead man, he did not respond normally or squarely as were the ordinary cases.  So, after the service, the monk asked about the status at death of the deceased.  A family member confessed that he had given morphine so often to the patent before he died since the patient had been suffering so much for a long time.  So, the monk had talked to the soul still intoxicated or paralyzed by morphine.

Based on such 2000 cases of funeral services, the monk felt sure that he confirmed existence of dead men's souls.  The souls with whom he made communications were not in near-death experiences but in real death.  And one of his findings is that characters and personalities of dead men's souls do not change from what they were while they were alive in this world.

The ability to talk with dead men's souls was naturally obtained as he performed many funeral services where he was usually called by funeral service companies.  A Japanese bereaved family who does not belong to, or has a strong tie, with a specific Buddhist temple often accepts whatever monk a funeral company calls for a funeral service.  Therefore, the monk meets bereaved families and dead men in caskets for the first time in funerals.

So, what the monk has understood after decades-long personal investigation on existence of dead men's souls is so simple: What the religion teaches about immortality of the soul is true.

Christianity is also based on the belief and faith that a soul of a dead man lives after bodily death in this world.

30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.

"Why could not we cast him out?" - Souls of the Rich in Heaven?

A Shinto Shrine around Tokyo

Souls of the Rich in Heaven?

According to Swedenborg, there are souls of rich men in the spirit world and even in Heaven.

Rich men who earned and spent big money not for their own interest but for promoting the divine will and achieving holy purpose can enter into Heaven.  Indeed, Christ Jesus did not say that rich men could not 100% enter into Heave.  However, the emphasis of His saying is not on the fact that even rich men can be accepted into Heaven.  His intention is still to give a warning to those who want to be rich in this world.

Those who think that they need money to perform the teaching of God and thus earn big money to be eventually rich must not be rich at all in the worldly sense.  Such men must be still poor inside, although he has earned big money to achieve divine purpose.  Such men should not live rich, eat rich, or equip themselves rich.  Their souls should look poor because their inside is humble and poor unlike the souls of worldly rich men.

The fact that there are rich men means that there are poor men.  The rich make the poor envy the rich.  The poor who see and envy the rich would naturally try to be rich.  It does not matter whether the rich use their money only for godly purposes or for their own interest.  The rich can satisfy their desire to be rich, but the poor cannot enjoy such status and pride.  The poor should envy the rich even if the rich use all the money they have to save the poor and fulfill the divine will.  Such poor men might try to be rich by any means, for example, by selling their souls to Satan.

In reality, it must be almost impossible for the rich to use their wealth only for godly purposes.  If you are rich, you should surely live rich, eat rich, and wear rich clothes.  So, it is very misleading for Swedenborg to say that there are souls of rich men in Heaven who spent their money for achieving divine will.

The souls of rich men Swedenborg saw in Heaven must not be souls of rich men in this world.  They must have been poor in this world.  But, when they were admitted into Heaven, they earned much money (if there should be money in Heaven) to spend it according to the divine will, so that they must have looked rich in Heaven to the eyes of Swedenborg.

Christ Jesus told the poor in this world that they should be satisfied in Heaven, which means that they should be rich in Heaven.  So, the souls of the rich Swedenborg saw in Heaven must not be the souls of those who were rich while living in this world.

Swedenborg was a rich man while living in this world.  Therefore, he wanted to see that even rich men in this world could be allowed into Heaven.  But it indicates that Swedenborg did not understand the divine well.

If there had be such rich men in this world as would spend their wealth to achieve divine purposes, the poor in this world should not have suffered so much that the God had to send His Son Christ Jesus to the human world to save the poor.  In other words, Christ Jesus did not come to this world to allow the rich to enter into Heaven but to save and help the poor to go to Heaven.

No matter how rich and high in the social status, you can be accepted in Heaven as long as you perform the divine will.  Swedenborg wanted to spread this notion by writing various books and reports on the spirit world and the afterlife.  Yet, the divine will is for people to understand that everybody should be poor so that nobody sells his soul to Satan.

Swedenborg should understand why Christ Jesus purposely declared:
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. (Matthew 19:24)

"will ye also be his disciples?" - St. Paul in the Afterlife Observed by Swedenborg

Mt. Fuji 100 km far from around Tokyo

St. Paul in the Afterlife Observed by Swedenborg

Swedenborg, a scientist, philosopher and mystic in the 18th century who was allowed by the God to see the spirit world while living in this world and wrote many books on his miracle spiritual experiences, saw St. Paul among the worst spirits in the afterlife, which must be the reason why the Vatican does not recognize Swedenborg as a saint.

According to The Spiritual Diary, the spirit of St. Paul kept in the afterlife his tendency and inclination he had had before his conversion to early Christianity.  He tried to rule all the Jewish people with his doctrine without referring to words and teachings of Christ Jesus in his letters put in the Bible.  St. Paul was shut away from spirits of other disciples of Christ Jesus and became a member of a group of evil spirits.

Swedenborg also saw the spirit of Christ Jesus watching a certain man, then shutting His eyes, and going inside Himself.  Although it is not written that these two incidents in the spirit world were related or tied to each other, it is very profound and suggestive.

Swedenborg noted that what is written by any man does not necessarily represent what man he is.  Any ungodly man may be able to write an excellent book of religion.  Any man who writes a book or a letter promoting and recommending ethics and moral acts is not necessarily a saint, but such a man is often ignorant about true value of humanity, justice, love, etc.  Any man with some ability can write a book of morality for the purpose of earning money and profit, pretending virtuous.  And St. Paul looked like one of such men to the spiritual eyes of Swedenborg.

However, Swedenborg did not reject or neglect what St. Paul had written in his letters.  Therefore, it is thought that the God or Christ Jesus used St. Paul for promotion of Christianity although his hidden tendency and inclination were known to Them.

On the other hand, Swedenborg praised the spirts of Seneca of ancient Rome in the 1st century and Newton of England in the early 18th century.  They loved truth and accepted the holy story depicted in the Bible.

Today, there are some people who claim that they can invoke spirits of deceased men.  Some people work as spiritualistic media.  Even some people who had near-death experiences claim that they saw the spirit of Christ Jesus shining like bright light in their experiences.  Although some people say that they have changed to become more humble, moralistic, or thoughtful after near-death experiences, others say that though they have acquired some mysterious spiritual ability, their personal quality and human natures have not changed.  But, generally speaking, such people seem to become unafraid of death any more.

What should be noted is that there is Satan and evil spirits in this world and the spirit world.  The reason why Swedenborg can be trusted is that he described how evil spirits worked and attacked the faithful in this world and the spirit world.  Satan should not mind if people realize existence of the spirit world as long as they sell their souls to Satan.

The battles with Satan should continue to the spirit world.  However, as Swedenborg wrote, men are protected by the God from Satan and evil spirits coming from the spirit world to attack them.  Without such protection by the God, all men should become victims of Satan or sell their souls to Satan.

Anyway, it is a shame that the Pope in the Vatican and other leaders of churches do not report what they have seen in the spirit world when they are allowed by the God or Christ Jesus to see the status in the afterworld while living in this world like Swedenborg.

"let him down by the wall in a basket" - Rich Swedenborg Saw Souls of the Rich in the Afterlife

A Shinto Shrine around Tokyo

Rich Swedenborg Saw Souls of the Rich in the Afterlife

The passages in the Gospels that present the words of Christ Jesus showing most clearly His intent of His preaching are as follows:

Luke 6:
20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
21 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
24 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.
25 Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.
26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

Christ Jesus evidently came to this world to save the poor, the oppressed, and the unhappy and to give warnings to the rich, the persons in the position of power, and the happy.  He clearly stated that the poor, the oppressed, and the unhappy will be accepted in Heaven while the rich, the persons in the position of power, and the happy will be deprived of their wealth, positions, and happiness in the spirit world or in the hell.

However, Swedenborg, a Swedish theologian, scientist, philosopher and mystic in the 18th century, who was allowed to witness the spirit world, the afterlife, Heaven, and the hell while living in this world, wrote that he saw in Heaven souls of those who had been rich and in the high position when they had lived in this world.  He concluded that rich men and elite men who used their wealth and political/social power not for their own profits but for social benefits or promotion of public good could be accepted in Heaven.

Indeed, Christ Jesus did not say that rich men cannot 100% enter into Heaven:
23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. (Matthew 19)
It is true that Swedenborg himself was a rich and elite person, so that he must have been relieved to see even rich and elite men get allowed into Heaven.  Truly, Christ Jesus did not say that rich and elite men could not 100% enter into Heaven.  He said only that it was very difficult for rich men to enter into Heaven like a camel went through the eye of a needle.

Poor and unhappy people seem to be automatically allowed into Heaven if only they have faith in the God.  But being rich and happy in this world means that they lack enough faith in the God, so that they cannot usually enter into Heaven.  But, if the God admits that they have any merits, He should make the eye of a needle large enough for the rich to pass it and enter into Heaven.  And, who expresses dissent to the God if the God so decides?

Nonetheless, if the poor, the oppressed, and the unhappy had not been victims of the rich, the elite men, and the happy, Christ Jesus should not have come to this world.  Otherwise, if Christ Jesus had not loved the poor, the oppressed, and the unhappy, He should not come to this world to save them.

Anyway, Christ Jesus visited this human world 2000 years ago to put the poor, the oppressed, and the unhappy at their ease by promising them that they would be accepted in Heaven to be happy, since the God loved them.

In this context, love of the God and Christ Jesus is most correctly and sincerely understood by the poor, the oppressed, and the unhappy.  Therefore, it is a mystery that Christ Jesus chose the rich and elite man Swedenborg as a reporter of the afterlife or the spirit world.  Having said that, Swedenborg was not so rich and high in the position as the Pope in Rome.  It might have to be thought at such a level.

Finally, it must be stressed that the God and Christ Jesus love the poor far more than the rich, although they have power, authority, and liberty to forgive them at any time.

"thy faith hath made thee whole" - The Notion of Immortality of the Soul to be Widely Promoted

Around Tokyo

The Notion of Immortality of the Soul to be Widely Promoted

Christianity is based on the belief that there is the afterlife or life after death in this world.  Therefore, believers of Christianity as well as priests of Christianity in principle are not afraid of death.

According to witness and reports of those who had near-death experiences, men's souls get out of dying bodies to enter into the spirit world.  Their souls usually feel happy in the spirit world soon after death.  No matter how evil they are in this world, their souls are not immediately punished or condemned to the hell.

According to Swedenborg, a philosopher and mystic in the 18th century, men's souls after death of their bodies get into the spirit world where they spend some time and gradually split to those who are accepted in Heaven and others who fall into the hell.

So, if churches emphasized that there is no death for one's soul after death of his physical body in this world, it should not be false.  It must be right to anybody regardless of his religion or whether or not he is a Christian or not.

Indeed, it is the belief shared by ancient Egyptians who wrote the Book of the Dead, ancient Greek philosophers such as Socrates and Plato, Tibetan Buddhists who wrote The Tibetan Book of the Dead, Pure Land Buddhists in East Asia, etc.

So, it is no wonder that there are many people in this world who believe in the immortality of the soul.  But, churches never stress it and elementary schools never teach it; what is worse, universities never have faculties to study the spirit world or the afterlife.  In this context, Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, Raymond Moody, Allan Kardec, etc. who openly studied dying, near-death experiences, and death should have deserved a Nobel prize.

However, experts/scholars and churches seem to be reluctant to diffuse widely this notion of immortality of the soul.  Churches might be thinking that this secret should be taught only to members of churches.  Experts/scholars might be thinking that it is the knowledge that makes them especially important and privileged.  Or, some people with connection to political power might be thinking that such knowledge that everybody can live happily in the spirit world after death in this world must make law and order of the society unstable or endangered.  Indeed, a political revolution might happen more often with many insurgents who are not afraid of death.

But, men without the knowledge of immortality of the soul would tend to think that there is nothing after death in this world, so that they try to enjoy their lives as much as possible by obtaining money as much as possible while living in this world.  Accordingly, they should easily follow Satan.

Indeed, it is 2000 years after Christ Jesus appeared in this world.  As He clearly stated that poor and faithful men should be accepted in Heaven after death in this world where they are given eternal life, we have to widely promote this notion of immortality of the soul.  By doing this, we can save as many people as possible from traps and temptation of Satan.

”how then doth he now see?” - Required Doctrine of Christianity

Tokyo Station

Required Doctrine of Christianity

Everybody physically and materially dies in this world someday.  But this death of the body in this world is not the final death.  For example, Christ Jesus was killed on the cross but was resurrected as a spiritual entity three days later with a spiritual body that can work even as a body of a living man.

According to teaching of Christ Jesus, the second or final death occurs after one's soul that has entered into the afterlife is condemned to the hell where the God destroys every evil soul to nothingness.  But, souls of poor men recognized as faithful would be allowed to enter into Heaven where eternal life is given.

This situation in the spirit world or the afterlife is written in Revelation:
Revelation 20
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
To save people from this severe fate, Christ Jesus told people to be poor so that they will not sell their souls to Satan promising them to make them rich and happy in this world, since selling one's soul to Satan means to accept and perform every evil thing Satan teaches.

So, churches and the Vatican should teach that souls of people continue to live after their bodies die in this world.  But souls of poor and faithful people would be accepted in Heaven where they are given eternal life while souls of rich and evil people should fall into the hell where they are destroyed by the God.

This is simple and reasonable.  Even poor fishers, farmers, shepherds, tax collectors, etc. living in Palestine 2000 years ago could understand.  That is why teachings of Christ Jesus were accepted by many people even in the Roman Empire and thereafter.

So, the doctrine of Christianity should be:
1. Everyman dies but his soul survive material death to go to the spirit world.
2. Souls of the poor and faithful go to Heaven while souls of the rich and evil fall into the hell.
3. Eternal life is given in Heaven but final destruction of souls occur in the hell.

As Christ Jesus loved people so much, He purposely came to this world to tell this truth and make people understand God's plan so that people as many as possible can escape the trap set by Satan and enter into Heaven.

20 His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind:
21 But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.

23 Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him.
24 Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.
25 He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.

Satan's Evil Influence in this World and the Afterlife

If you have got knowledge by reading the Gospels that there is life of your soul after physical death in this world and the poor can be accepted and welcomed in Heaven while the rich are condemned to the hell, it is not enough.

You have to still fight against Satan, which is the core of the Gospels.  There could not have been the Gospels at all, if Christ Jesus had not fight and defeat Satan.

However, most of those who had near-death experiences to catch a glimpse of an entrance to the afterlife or the spirit world have reported that they had seen mysterious light or a bright figure like the God or Christ Jesus but not evil figures like Satan. Nonetheless, it cannot be believed that there is no Satan in the spirit world, since the Bible reads: 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves (Matthew 7).  False prophets should be sent by Satan from the spirit world to this world.

Satan should be afraid that if everybody understands the truth declared by Christ Jesus that souls of the poor are to go to Heaven while those of the rich are to fall into the hell in the afterlife after their death in this world and wishes to enter into Heaven, none will want to be rich by selling his soul to Satan.  Satan should not mind if people believe that there is the afterlife where they can live happily as they can live materially happy life in this world only if they have big money or wealth.  So, Satan should not appear in near-death experiences even of rich people so as not to make them hate material wealth by realizing what Satan is: namely the one that will eventually lead them to the hell.

In this context, phrases concerning warning to Satan, devils, evil spirits, false prophets, etc. in the Gospels and words of Christ Jesus are essentially critical.  For this purpose of giving warning to Satan, devils, evil spirits, false prophets, etc., the Gospels were written.  Therefore, the state of Christ Jesus on the cross as a victim of Satan is highlighted and emphasized in the Gospels.  Nonetheless, Christ Jesus defeated Satan by not giving up His love to men till His death on the cross as a man.  Satan could not harm Christ Jesus any more after He entered into the afterlife or the spirit world.  And, with faith in Christ Jesus we must be also safe from Satan in the afterlife or the spirit world.

We should not forget that Satan might have still some evil power in the afterlife or the spirit world like in this world, although those who had near-death experiences have seldom reported it.

Mark 9, King James Version
18 And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.
19 He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.
20 And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.
21 And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.
22 And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.
23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

"Neither do men put new wine into old bottles" - Three Conditions for Followers of Christ Jesus

Pacific Cost Line Southwest of Tokyo

Three Conditions for Followers of Christ Jesus

If you are followers of Christ Jesus, you have to believe, as the basic conditions, that there is the afterlife, which means that your soul will never die although your body dies in this world.

It also means that you have to believe that a man consists of the body and the soul.  The mind must be between the body and the soul.  Like in the case of Christ Jesus, when the body dies, the mind also dies but the soul is freed from the mind to enter into the spirit world as a spirit.

Some spirits can come back to this world and appear with a kind of body (spiritual figure) in front of others like the case of Christ Jesus three days after the death of His body.  So, it is no wonder that Elizabeth Kubler-Ross (1926-2004), a notable scholar on study of near-death experiences, dying, and death, saw a spiritual figure of a woman who had died 10 months before as her patient but came back to tell Kubler-Ross to continue her study on people dying.

It is matched with what Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772) wrote, since he started to see the spirit world, Heaven and the hell after he had encountered a spiritual figure like the spirit of Christ Jesus in a restaurant in London.

However, to be a follower of Christ Jesus, you have to believe that souls of poor men can be accepted and welcomed in Heaven but souls of rich men are to go the hell.  Poor men are regarded as faithful but rich men are regraded as evil.  Indeed, if you are faithful, you cannot let your poor neighbors live and die as being poorer than you, or you cannot make any dirty tricks to be any richer.

But, what is more important to be a follower of Christ Jesus is to fight against Satan without selling any part of your soul.  The major theme of the Gospels is this fight of Christ Jesus against Satan.  Christ Jesus on the cross symbolizes that He had never sold any part of His soul up to His death on the cross as a truly peace-loving man with belief in glory in Heaven.

A follower of Christ Jesus with knowledge of his soul's survival through his physical death to the spirit world and finally Heaven should not try to be rich in this world by obtaining money and wealth in exchange of his selling soul to Satan.  Such a follower must be poor but know that he will receive a reward for his righteous life in Heaven as Christ Jesus told.  And, he should fight against Satan as Christ Jesus did, which is the final condition to be called a follower of Christ Jesus.

Christ Jesus fought Satan until His death on the cross.  Satan used Jewish priests of the Temple in Jerusalem and Roman troops to crucify Jesus Christ.  Satan knew that Christ Jesus had power as the Son of the God, so that Satan wanted Christ Jesus to get angry with those Jewish priests and Roman soldiers, curse and destroy them.  However, Christ Jesus did not take revenge on them, though He could immediately do so, since He had come to this world to love people including those who sold their souls to Satan.

Indeed, no matter how much Christ Jesus knew about the afterlife or the spirit world, he might have got angry with those people who were killing Him as Satan wished.  But in the case, Satan should have been happy to see the Son of the God attacking human beings, although such human beings deserved such attack by Christ Jesus.  Christ Jesus showed His utmost love to human beings by not getting angry and punishing those human beings killing Him.

Satan was defeated by Jesus Christ's love on the cross to human beings, including those who had sold their souls to Satan and tried to kill Him.  Nonetheless, we should think that the God destroyed them all in the hell like in the case of the parable about the land lord whose son was killed by bad and greedy framers.

Matthew 9, King James Version
17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
18 While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
19 And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples.
20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

"Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes" - Members of Churches or the Vatican are not Necessarily Promised

Members of Churches or the Vatican are not Necessarily Promised

For you to become followers, if not Christians, of Christ Jesus who called Himself the Son of God, you should love the God as much as you can with all of your heart and strength.

In addition, you have to believe that there is the afterlife.  Next, you have to believe that souls of poor and faithful men are accepted in Heaven, and souls of rich and evil men are to go to the hell.  Finally, you have to fight against Satan like Christ Jesus.  Then, you must be surely called followers of Christ Jesus.

Indeed, Christ Jesus did not tell that He was the God or His authority was based on the Trinity.  Christ Jesus even did not tell that anybody who had different views on the God and Himself from churches or the Vatican should be His enemies.

You can be followers of Christ Jesus if churches or the Vatican denies or neglects you, since Christ Jesus did not give the authority to certify His followers to churches or the Vatican.  It is not churches or the Vatican that allows you to enter Heaven or condemns you to the hell.  It is the privilege of the God.

Christ Jesus told how to become His followers but not how to become members of churches or the Vatican.  His followers are promised to be admitted into Heaven, but simple members of churches or the Vatican are not promised.

John 9, King James Version
13 They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.
14 And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
15 Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.
16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
17 They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.

"he said unto them, Give ye them to eat" - Even if Christ Jesus was Truly the God

Even if Christ Jesus was Truly the God

Christ Jesus said to love the God with all our heart and strength but never declared that He was the God; yet He stressed that He was the Son of the God and also the son of man.  And, most importantly, Christ Jesus said to His followers not to tell who He was.

Therefore the present Christianity based on the notion that the Christ Jesus is the God cannot be completely accepted, although He might be the God.  Because Christ Jesus did not declare that He was the God, we should not call Him the God, if He might be the God.

Put extremely, if you do not accept and perform any teaching of Christ Jesus but somewhat accept the notion that He is the God, you can be accepted by churches as Christians.  And, if you accept and perform all teachings of Christ Jesus as much as possible but do not completely accept the notion that He is the God, you cannot be admitted by churches as Christians.  There can be Christians who do not satisfactorily accept and perform teachings of Christ Jesus but can be admitted by churches as Christians, if they simply say that they believe that Christ Jesus is the God.

In other words, even if followers of Satan can be accepted by churches as Christians if only because they say that they admit that Christ Jesus is the God.  But, fighters against Satan cannot be accepted by churches as Christians if they do not say that they perfectly admit that Christ Jesus is the God.

Christians should be those who accept and perform all teachings of Christ Jesus as much as possible but not those who say, even in a superficial way, that they believe that Christ Jesus is the God.

However, it should not be forbidden to believe that Christ Jesus is the God, or declare or diffuse the notion that Christ Jesus is the God.  Indeed, to such little and minute entities as the mankind, Christ Jesus is great enough to be called a god or the God.  The God must not blames any body who cannot understand the ideology of the Trinity.

You may be vaguely think that Christ Jesus is a kind of God or as great as the God, if you fight against Satan.  Or, I would venture to say that you should be called Christians if only you fight against Satan.  And, followers of Satan seem to be in churches and even in the Vatican.  They may be pretending to believe or even simply believe that Christ Jesus is the God.  In this case, the Vatican protect such followers of Satan and reject those who accept and perform teachings of Christ Jesus without completely believing that Christ Jesus is the God.

Put simply, Christ Jesus did not say to be Christians officially recognized as such by churches to be established centuries later after His death on the Cross.  But, Christ Jesus said to love the God with all our heart and strength.  It may be a little too arrogant to think that we can identify or define the God as anybody in this world, even if Christ Jesus was truly the God.

However, present churches and the Vatican are far better than Satan.

Luke 9, King James Version
12 And when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve, and said unto him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge, and get victuals: for we are here in a desert place.
13 But he said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy meat for all this people.
14 For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company.
15 And they did so, and made them all sit down.
16 Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.
17 And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.

"They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick" - The Hidden Principal in the Hell

Around Tokyo

The Hidden Principal in the Hell

According to witness of those who had near-death experiences, everybody in the spirit world looked happy or full of love.  However, there are a limited number of witnesses who reported that they had seen the hell in their near-death experiences.

Indeed, Elisabeth Kübler-Ross and Raymond Moody have not assured that there is not only the happy spirit world but also the hell where souls of evil men would go.  Yet, Emanuel Swedenborg, a notable psychic in the 18th century, reported existence of the hell in the afterlife in a detailed manner, which seems to be more trustworthy.

However, almost all who have claimed that they saw the spirit world with angel-like entities or the world of light in their near-death experiences have never confessed that they are sinners or evil men in this world.  They might have all changed to good men or repenting men to be forgiven by the God on their deathbeds.  But as half of men in this world look sinful or evil, there must be a special place in the afterlife where they should go by preference.

According to Swedenborg, all the souls of dead men get into the spirit world and proceed along a road until they encounter a big stone from which the road is divided to the left and the right.  Good souls go along the left road which is straight to Heaven.  But evil souls stumble on the stone to harm themselves but stand up to run along the wide right road to the hell.  Perhaps, evil souls cannot see the stone and should find the wide right road so comfortable.

Angels and good souls in Heaven can see the hell below, although the hell is covered by some lid, if they allowed to do so.  The hell is in three layers like in the caves in mountains.  The uppermost layer is dark and gloomy.  The next lower one is full of fire.  The lowest one is where evil souls purged from the two upper layers go and hide or are abandoned.

Evil souls in the dark and gloomy layers are those who did evil things while being guided or allured by outside evil.  Evil souls in fire are those who did evil things while being moved by their inherent evil.  They fight, attack, harm, and rob one another.  They roam about like wild animals.  And when they are punished due to their extreme evil nature, they go to subterranean caves or wilderness like the desert.  Especially those who used preeminently shrewd and dirty skilled tricks to do evil would be abandoned there until the last time when they are finally destroyed by the God.

However, it should be noted that souls of those who are excellent in intellectual power but lack enough love are not highly regraded or appraised.  The most important feature of men consists in love, since love makes a man worthy of the name.  They may also fall into the hell if not so deep.  Even if they are allowed into Heaven, they should be placed under those without much intellectual power but with enough love to the God and others.

Those who had near-death experiences must have only seen the entrance to the spirit world.   But, further into the spirit world, every soul should go to Heaven or the hell, which must be too severe to be revealed to living men in this world.

However, those scholars and pundits as well as those who had near-death experiences do not usually talk much about Satan in the spirit world or the hell.  Yet, Satan as the source of evil and vice should be the hidden principal in the hell, the spirit world, or this world.  We should not neglect it like in the case of the Gospels.

Matthew 9, King James Version
10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
