"because ye know not the scriptures"
(Volcano Asama, 120 Km north of Tokyo)
Maybe You Are in a Christmas Mode as You are Blessed by the Lord...Oh, Holy Night, Silent Night...Yes We Are in a Christmas Mode as We are Blessed by the Lord...Ah, Holy Night, Silent Night...
It has been snowing heavily also in Japan this week. Even a coastal area on the Sea of Japan, just 100 miles north of Tokyo, was covered by a half-meter depth of snow over a night.

For homeless people in Tokyo, New York, and other cities in the Northern Hemisphere, global cooling or a coming of the Little Ice Age is far worse than global warming.
The global warming is another form of the problem of poverty: the global gap between rich countries and poor countries.
(The U.S. strategy for the 21st century is to remain rich by tying up with new rich countries of the 21st century, such as China, India, Brazil, and South Africa, regardless of global warming or global cooling.)
SECTION I: COPENHAGEN FIASCO AND SHOWDOWN
The COP 15 Conference revealed something critical as the U.S. with China, India, Brazil, and South Africa lost respect from poor countries while European major nations and Russia were found to be useless.
"There is some anger among [many] ... developing nations. They say that this deal has been done essentially with the Americans, the Chinese, the South Africans and the Brazilians and the Indians and they have had no real input."

The world is now divided into three groups: Europe plus Russia losing global respect; the U.S. and other mega nations simply respecting one another; and others who respect Japan.
It is neither CO2 nor temperature measurement but the control of consumption and use of crude oil, coal, and natural gas that must be advertised to world citizens.
Big money being generated between the CO2 talk and the oil/coal/gas business must be distributed to poor countries who are facing poverty, starving, and other violence-related crises before worry about global warming.
Copenhagen indeed failed in presenting a forum for justice. Only Japan proposed a concrete plan with true intention to make monetary contribution.
"Yukio Hatoyama, the Japanese premier, who has offered nearly $20bn towards a global climate fund, said the summit would deliver a 'robust' if 'not necessarily perfect' statement on fighting global warming."

SECTION II: POOR PEOPLE IN 2009
FACT 1. Poor Old Workers in America
In America, 4.1 million people at an age of 65 and older were active in the job market in 2001. Today, 6.6 million Americans 65 and older are active in the job market, mostly because they need money for their subsistence.
FACT 2. Poor Farmers and Factory Workers in China
There are more than 40 million poor people in China officially identified as being poor by the Chinese Government. However, Chinese ex-farmers working in factories also face bad conditions, since foreign companies, such as Wal-Mart Stores are requesting cost reduction more and more to Chinese makers.

FACT 3. Homelessness in Rich Countries
The number of homeless persons as reported in Wikipedia:
-----
European Union: 3,000,000 (UN-HABITAT 2004)
- United Kingdom: 10,459 rough sleepers, 98,750 households in temporary accommodation
Canada: 150,000
Australia: In total, 99,900 people were homeless in 2001
United States: 671,888 sheltered and unsheltered homeless persons nationwide.
- Sheltered Homeless Persons during a One-Year Period, October 2006 to September 2007, that about 1,589,000 persons used an emergency shelter and/or transitional housing during the 12-month period, which is about 1 in every 200 persons in the United States was in a homeless facility in that time period.
Japan: 20,000-100,000 (some figures put it at 200,000-400,000)[103] Reports show that homelessness is on the rise in Japan since the mid-1990s.[104]
(Note: According to the Japanese Government, there were 18,564 homeless persons in Japan as of January 2007. The data in Wikipedia is apparently inaccurate and anti-Japanese. )

FACT 4. Refugees
According to Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, there are 42 million refugees worldwide in 2009.
Yet, roughly speaking two billion people in the world are living a rich or comfortable life; other two billion people are living a modest or humble life; and the last two billion people have no hope for living a rich or comfortable life.
How you regard a person poorer than you decides how the God regards you poorer than the God.
If you forsake them while you have life, the God or Allah will forsake you after the end of your life.

Tonight I saw an NHK TV program featuring Japanese midget submarines having been carried by a large submarine and then released underwater for the Pearl Harbor Attack, the Sydney Harbor Attack, etc. during WWII.

No war is inevitable, which is my understanding regarding the Pearl Harbor Attack. It is so, though 99% of the people think in any era that leaders are doing their best to avoid war. However, leaders would make war if they think they would lose power or reputation unless they open war.
War is only justified when the God specifically tells you to open war, which you must prove before the people. Otherwise, place defense forces within the territory...
(Some people, maybe including you, say this is the best popular Christmas song composed by a Japanese:

Mar 12:19 Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man's brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
Mar 12:20 Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.
Mar 12:21 And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise.
Mar 12:22 And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also.
Mar 12:23 In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.
Mar 12:24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?
Mar 12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
