“A prophet is not without honor except in his own town" - A Japanese who Never Fears his own Death

A Japanese who Never Fears his own Death

Men should not be gripped by fear.  And men should dispel the delusions about the world.

Then  men could start to live happy lives.  These are the words of a very successful Japanese author who was also a vey successful TV  director.

He wrote that he had never felt intimidated.  He has never achieved a feeling of terror.  He never worried that he might become poor or lose everything needed in his life.   He has never feared death.

Jyunichi Yaoi (1935 -) as a TV director in Japan once invited Yuri Geller to Japan and made him perform a super-natural show of spoon bending through power of thought.  Yaoi become famous as with Yuri Geller in 1970s, but what made Yaoi so successful was not connection with Yuri Geller but his inquiry about UFOs and space aliens.  He produced many TV programs focusing on UFOs and space aliens.  He became a leading authority on study about UFOs and space aliens in Japan.  Even today, many Japanese think of Yaoi as a typical UFO researcher.  The UFO boom in Japan between 1980s and 1990s can be ascribed to Yaoi.

But what should be paid more attentions to about Yaoi's feature is his unique life philosophy of life: Men should abandon delusion and then they would be freed from bitters of life.  He also wrote that if people stopped fearing their own death, they would have happy life like Yaoi himself.

It is a kind of nihilism.  Yaoi wrote that people should stop making any efforts to gain money and success in their lives.  People should stop making the best of a bad situation, but should bypass difficult problems and challenges.  So, when he visited the Area 51 in the U. S. for his TV program and he was kept an eye on by mysterious Americans, he stopped his study on the Area 51, since he felt that it was dangerous for him to further pursue truth of the mysterious U. S. military base.  But Yaoi continued his survey on UFO in the U.S., doing interviews with many Americans involved in UFO-related incidents.  Yaoi made many well-reputed TV programs on activities on UFOs in the U. S.

Yaoi admitted that Yuri Geller had real super-natural power.  And Yaoi also believed that some American government agencies such as CIA and the U. S. military had some secret knowledge about UFO and space aliens.

Maybe, only a Japanese like Yaoi who has never feared his own death could reach a stage of finding the great secret of the U. S.

When Yaoi first met Yuri Geller, Geller said to Yaoi that they had been brothers in Geller's previous life.  Yaoi is a unique Japanese.  He now runs his private school to teach his own philosophy to ordinary Japanese; he might also teach something about UFOs and space aliens in addition to spoon bending.

Mark 6  New International Version
Jesus left there and went to his hometown, accompanied by his disciples. 2 When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed.
“Where did this man get these things?” they asked. “What’s this wisdom that has been given him? What are these remarkable miracles he is performing? 3 Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him.
4 Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.” 5 He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. 6 He was amazed at their lack of faith.
