America and China are in a State of War Statutorily
Some Japanese worry about the recent development of relations between the United States and China.
It seems that it is based on wrong recognition on World War II. The United States and the current Chinese government were not allies in the war against the Empire of Japan in WWII. It is the Republic of China (Taiwan) that was allied with the United States but not the People's Republic of China (the current Chinese government in the Chinese main land) in WWII, since the People's Republic of China was established in 1949 after the end of WWII. Indeed, the imperial Japanese army fought with the Republic of China's army.
But now, Japan and Taiwan are friendly countries, while the current Chinese government led by the Chinese Communist Party is attacking Japan doggedly and illogically (a Chinese diplomat declared that he would kill the Japanese prime minister Sanae Takaichi over a Taiwan issue).
Taiwan was a true ally with the United States of America in WWII.
What is more, in the Korean War (1950 - 1953), the United States of America fought against the People's Republic of China. This was has not been finished. The war is still in a cease-fire, meaning that the United States of America and the People's Republic of China are in a state of war statutorily.
In addition, the Vietnam War (1955 - 1975) was prolonged due to the interference by the People's Republic of China, The war was ended when Kissinger delt with leaders of the People's Republic of China.
However, Japan has been continually a true ally of the United States of America after WWII.
The relationships between the United Sate of America and Taiwan and the People's Republic of China should be based on correct recognition of the history.
Anyway Japan's true aim is to prevent WWIII from occurring in a war over the Taiwan Strait between Taiwan (the Republic of China ) and the People's Republic of China.

25 He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”
26 Then they asked him, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?”
27 He answered, “I have told you already and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you want to become his disciples too?”
28 Then they hurled insults at him and said, “You are this fellow’s disciple! We are disciples of Moses! 29 We know that God spoke to Moses, but as for this fellow, we don’t even know where he comes from.”
30 The man answered, “Now that is remarkable! You don’t know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes. 31 We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will. 32 Nobody has ever heard of opening the eyes of a man born blind. 33 If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.”
34 To this they replied, “You were steeped in sin at birth; how dare you lecture us!” And they threw him out.
35 Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”
