Historical State of Truth around Japan

Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan is going to invest further $700 million into China to establish its 100% subsidiary for development of new cars planned to start by the end of 2013.

(Toyota sells 1.8 million cars in Asia while 3.2 million in Japan.)

However, what is Toyota's duty to Japan? Toyota and other Japanese companies operating in China must contribute to promotion of respect for Japan among Chinese consumers and citizens.

Toyota employees must learn the history of Japan, Asia, and the world before engagement in business in China and other nations.

The oldest record of Okinawa people having paid a courtesy call on Japan's Imperial Court in Yamato (Nara), south of Kyoto, is of A.D. 714.

http://eereporter.blogspot.com/2010/10/yesterday-two-miracles-however-you.html

So, it is apparent that Okinawa people have been sailing not only around the Senkaku Islands but also in the East China Sea and the west Pacific Ocean as far as to the South China Sea in these 1300 years.

Anyway, Japan and the U.S. are G2 that have enabled Chinese economic success, so far, while China is so ingratitude.

Lastly, since His Majesty the Emperor of Japan visited China in 1992, in response to a Chinese petition for winning the imperial favor, investments into China from Japan and the U.S. increased steeply .

Therefore, China owes something great to the Emperor.

Tiananmen 1989, Imperial 1992, and Senkaku 2010

The Emperor and Empress of Japan visited China in October 1992 in response to a Chinese petition for winning the imperial favor:

However, The New York Times was not so pro-Japanese even in this event carried out after the Tiananmen Square oppression in 1989.

Japan's Emperor Tells China Only of His 'Sadness' on War
By DAVID E. SANGER
Published: October 24, 1992

BEIJING, Oct. 23 — Emperor Akihito, opening the first visit to China by a Japanese monarch, acknowledged today that Japan's wartime occupation had "inflicted great suffering on the people of China," but he stopped short of the apology demanded by a growing number of Chinese.

http://www.nytimes.com/1992/10/24/world/japan-s-emperor-tells-china-only-of-his-sadness-on-war.html
----------
The Chinese Communist Government was then alienated by the international community due to the brutality they had exerted in the Tiananmen Square, Beijing, to crush pro-democracy movement in 1989.

In order to change the tide, China worked hard to show the world that they were being supported by Japan. As evidence for Japanese friendship and favor, Chinese leaders wanted the visit by the Emperor to China, which would surely suppress criticism, Beijing thought, on the Chinese cruelty directed to democracy-seeking citizens. And, Japan accepted the request; accordingly the Emperor and Empress of Japan visited China in October 1992.

Chinese elites who attended a banquet held in Beijing to receive the Emperor all admired and respected the Emperor referring to the Japanese-Chinese War in the WWII era, since the Emperor expressed his deep compassion to the Chinese people. No Chinese elites in the hall stood up and shouted, "Please apologize more!"

But, in 18 years since this goodwill event authorized by the Japanese Government, the Chinese Communist Government has come to more and more display irreverent behavior like the ungrateful mafia against Japan where the Emperor who visited China in 1992 presides.

(The New York Times sharing an anti-Japan strategy with the Clinton Administration did not honestly report the state of feeling among Chinese elites who attended the ceremonial dinner party in Beijing.)

SECTION I: Japan Still Provides Official Aid for China

The New York Times never fails in focusing on China and helping China challenge Japan.

But, there are many, many things The New York Times does not know about China.

Till 2007, the Japanese Government has provided official development assistance (ODA) for China, which exceeds $40 billion over decades. ODA money from Japan greatly promoted China's economic growth in 1990's as I once discussed. When China's national budget was one tenth of today's scale, even a few billion dollars aid from Japan accounted for almost 10% of China's budget in a certain field of its public work, such as railroad/highway construction and airport building.

The Japanese Government still continues to provide official gratuitous financial aid and free technical support for China. In fiscal 2008, its scale was about $60 million. This amount itself is small, but China leverages status and credit accompanying this aid in its business activities with Japanese companies. A multiple effect is large.

Now, while China claims its status of quasi-No.2 economy in the world, will The New York Times donate $60 million present to China every year for further economic growth of China so as to be quasi-No.1? It is what Japan is doing, though, based on its peace-loving national policy.

But, why? It is mostly Japanese people are peace-loving people especially when dealing with Korea and China. But, then why did Japan annex Korea and send troops into China in the first half of the 20th century?

It is because those Europeans/Russians and Americans, looking like those now working in The New York Times, colonized and invaded Asia, East Asia, and the Far East in the preceding era. Yet, sea areas and islands all north of Taiwan belong to Okinawa Prefecture of Japan for 1,000 years and more while the Han Chinese have been mostly continental oriented.

SECTION II: Another Side of Japan-China Relationship

[Recap of http://eereporter.blogspot.com/2010/10/and-he-to-whom-son-will-reveal-him.html]

I-1: At the End of WWII

As a result of the victory in the Japan-Sino War in 1895, the Empire of Japan received a huge settlement package from the Ching Dynasty.

The two main items were Taiwan and money reparations that were almost equal to the amount of three-year-term national budgets of the Empire of Japan at the time. The Empire fully used this money to build modern iron mills and other industrial facilities.

On the other hand, China and Taiwan did not request a settlement package from Japan after WWII, though China and Taiwan became a member state of the victorious allies led by the U.S.

Instead after WWII, Japan admitted, though diplomatically, the Chinese Communist Government as the sole authentic political representative of whole China. Accordingly, Japan cut the official diplomatic tie with Taiwan or the Republic of China in early 1970's.

Yet, basically, the Imperial Army did not lose war on mainland China. Generals, officers, and soldiers thought that they lost war against America but not China. Without the Pearl Harbor attack, the Imperial Army should have completely destroyed Chinese troops eventually, though it might have taken several more years. Accordingly, there have been an objection among the Japanese people to pay reparations to the Chinese Communist Government after WWII.

Besides, the Empire of Japan built wider railroad networks, many factories, and other modern infrastructures in mainland China (including Manchuria), which were all taken by the Chinese Communist Government after WWII.

In addition, the Empire of Japan had also huge assets in Taiwan, which were all taken by the Chinese Nationalist Government after WWII.

In addition, the Empire of Japan had also huge assets in the Korean Peninsula, which were all taken by South and North Koreas after WWII.

According to a theory, though the Chinese Communist Party still asserts that damages they suffered during the Japan-China War in 1930's and 1940's reaches $600 billion, what the Empire of Japan left in mainland China (including Manchuria) totaled up $567 billion and in Taiwan $101 billion.

(Conversion rules: $1 = 15 yen; Price differences: $1 in 1940 = $190 today)

It is true human casualties cannot be compensated by money. But, Chinese were not so weak in 1930's and 1940's; they had strength, power, and resources to launch war against the Empire of Japan and pull the Imperial Army into the endless battles on mainland China which were virtually an extension of the great civil war between Chinese communists and nationalists. China is also responsible for the Japan-China War in 1930's and 1940's.

Therefore, Japan does not owe anything to China (including Taiwan) in terms of the Japan-China War settlement balance, to your surprise. China has to cover the rest for itself, if any, in this context.

I-2: In 1980's and 1990's

Some people argue that Japan's total financial aid to China since 1970's when Japan carried out normalization of relationships with the Chinese Communist Government is just three trillion yen or so. While the Empire of Japan caused so much damage to China in the Japan-China War in 1930's and 1940's.

Some claim that Japan's aid as virtual reparations has been too little.

However, in my rough estimation, China received financial, industrial, scientific and cultural aid from the Japanese Government and Japan's private sector which was equivalent to 5% to 10% of China's national budget each year during 1990's.

Around 1990, China's GDP was just two trillion yuan or so, that is $400 billion. (Its average in 1990's is around 5.5 trillion yuan or so, that is $700 billion. On an average, one dollar was exchanged with 5 yuan before 1994 and 8.5 yuan after 1994.)

Japan's three trillion yen around 1990's is equivalent to almost $30 billion ($37 billion of today). It can be $2 billion per year, as Japan's aid was concentrated in this period.

As China received free $2 billion from Japan while its GDP was $400 billion around 1990, the Chinese Government could introduce modern technology and facilities in a larger scale. Chinese industrial development was really driven by Japanese money.

The ratio of Japan's aid to China's national budget per year is much higher.

Moreover, thousands of Japanese companies of various sizes and in various fields started to invest into and operate in China. Technologies, know-hows, and intellectual assets having been transferred to China by these Japanese companies are enormous.

Just around Shanghai today, you can see 1,110 Japanese companies and Japanese-affiliated businesses in a simple list.

http://www.explore.ne.jp/hp/

In addition, the Japanese Patent Agency estimated the damages Japanese businesses suffered in the Chinese market due to patent right infringiments could reach 9 trillion yen ($100 billion dollars) as of 2004.

So, humbly clculated, the effect of Japanese private sector's contribution to China can be twice or so ($4 billion per year) as much as the governmental aid ($2 billion per year) to China through 1980's and 1990's.

Then, it is estimated that during 1990's, when the average of China's GDP was around 5.5 trillion yuan or so, namely $700 billion, China received financial/industrial and public/private aide from Japan at a scale of $6 billion; the Chinese Government could introduce modern technology and facilities in a larger scale. Chinese industrial development was really driven by Japanese money.

The ratio of Japan's aid to China's national budget per year is much higher.

Though there can be some minor differences in terms of figures depending on a way of analysis, it is clear that China today owes its success to Japan.

It is not a matter of the Senkaku Islands, but the one concerning the Japan-Sino War and the Japan's aid to China in 1980's, 1990's, and 2000's what mentally sound Chinese should talk about.

Finally, let's check the trend of China's GDP, national budgets, and their ratio.

http://www.mof.go.jp/jouhou/soken/kouryu/h13/chu08.pdf

Tall bars in the above figure shows China's GDP in each year and small bars China's national budgets (unit 100 million yuan); Lines are for a ratio of a budget over GDP (in percent).

For your reference, the trend of the exchange rate between the U.S. dollars and yuan is as follows:

Review of First Chinese Empire as Revolution

"You need two bells to learn truth" - a proverb of Haiti

So, I say even a capitalist is a human being; even Stalin is a human being.

If a capitalist fails in being rich as a capitalist, he would try hard to be a Stalin to be rich.

If Stalin fails in being a Stalin, he would try hard to be a capitalist to be rich.

SECTION I: From the Beginning: Arrogance

King of Qin with the personal name Zheng (Sei in Japanese) (259 BC – 210 BC) defeated all the enemy kingdoms that had sprung up or got independence after the fall of the predominant Shang (Shou in Japanese) kingdom to unify whole China in 221 B.C. Then he carried out notable imperial inspection tours through his territory five times in 220 B.C., 219 B.C., 218 B.C., 215 B.C., and 210 B.C.

It was the second tour that decided the fate of not only First Emperor Zheng (Shikoutei in Japanese) himself and his Empire but also China in the next 2200 years and also Japan.

First Emperor Zheng went up Mount Tai (Taizan in Japanese) in the east part of the continent to perform a mysterious ritual that was only allowed for a king or an emperor according to an ancient mythical teaching.

--------------
Religious worship of Mount Tai has a tradition of 3,000 years, it has been practiced from the time of the Shang to that of the Qing Dynasty. Over time, this worship evolved into an official imperial rite and Mount Tai became one of the principal places where the emperor would pay homage to heaven (on the summit) and earth (at the foot of the mountain) in the Feng (Chinese: 封; pinyin: Fēng) and Shan (Chinese: 禪; pinyin: Shàn) sacrifices respectively. The two sacrifices are often referred to together as the Fengshan sacrifices (Chinese: 封禪; pinyin: Fēngshàn). Carving of an inscription as part of the sacrifices marked the attainment of the "great peace"[4]. In 219 BC, Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China, held a ceremony on the summit and proclaimed the unity of his empire in a famous inscription. During the Han Dynasty, the Feng and Shan sacrifices were considered the highest of all sacrifices [4].

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Tai

--------------

It is still controversial specifically how First Emperor Zheng performed the religious ritual at the summit of Mount Tai and what true intention he had. The Emperor himself did not make it clear or recorded how he had performed his own ritual as the sole ruler on the Chinese continent or the main part of the continent. (But, why must have it be kept secret? So as to avoid criticism or due to a lack of self confidence?)

Yet, when First Emperor Zheng was going down after the ceremony where he is believed to have associated with Heaven and Ground, it suddenly started a strong rain as if the heaven had been displeased. But, there was a big pine tree by the wayside that gave a convenient shelter to the Emperor. So, after the tempest, First Emperor Zheng showed his appreciation to the pine tree by conferring a peerage, which was very extraordinary since a noble title was given to a plant by an emperor.

Then, First Emperor Zheng continued to travel with soldiers and officials to the east coast of the continent to meet a master of tao sorcery called Xu Fu (Jyo-Fuku in Japanese) from a kingdom called Qi which had been conquered by Qin in 221 B.C. in the last stage of Zheng's war of conquest. Though the Emperor was just around 40 years old at the time, he accepted Xu Fu's petition to send him to three holy mountains in legendary islands in the east sea and bring back the legendary elixir of life for the Emperor. Accordingly, Xu Fu, a mysterious man, later left for the legend islands with 3,000 boys and girls as well as various types of craftsmen in addition to seeds of various grains, though Xu Fu and his band never sailed back to China.

And then, First Emperor Zheng and his great imperial procession continued, sailing upstream in the Long River to a place called Xiang Shan. From there his great party tried to cross a river in vain. A tempest again stood before First Emperor Zheng who got so irritated. So, he asked a scholar about a god of the river. As the scholar answered that it was mythical daughters of the most respected mythical Emperor Yao (Gyo in Japanese), angry First Emperor Zheng ordered his soldiers to cut down all the tress in a mountain on the river where a mausoleum dedicated to the goddesses was situated as if taking clothes from the goddesses.

So, a causal circle started to work.

The Qin Dynasty collapsed after First Emperor's death through a series of large-scale fierce battles against insurgent army in 207 B.C.

Yet, according to various local legends in Japan, that master of tao sorcery called Xu Fu (Jyo-Fuku in Japanese) reached some part of Japan after sailing across the East China Sea. Though it is not established whether or not Xu Fu contributed to any development of culture in Japan around 200 B.C., there are many Japanese today who believe that Xu Fu actually reached a certain location of the Japanese Islands, since the Islands had been regarded as the holy islands in the east sea by ancient Chinese philosophers. Some Chinese even assumed Xu Fu's linkage to ancestors of the Japanese Imperial Family.

As a lesson, it is noteworthy that First Emperor of China Zheng became so arrogant as to challenge gods and goddesses and Heaven after his conquest and unification of whole China. So, his empire Qin crashed when his son ascended the imperial throne after the death of First Emperor Zheng during his last imperial inspection tour.

In this context, it is noteworthy that First Emperor of China Zheng (259 BC – 210 BC) shared a similar fate with Alexander the Great (356 BC – 323 BC), though, over a century gap.

The most impressive thing about First Emperor Zheng of Qing is that there is unbelievable imbalance between the great achievement of Qin and the mean spirituality of Emperor Zheng.

"How could the first empire of China be built by this flimsy personality of Emperor Zheng?" must be a common feeling among those who have ever studied the ancient Chinese history. But, it tells power of something new at the time. It is apparent that Qin or its king Zheng, before their imperial establishment, had something so powerful that made their revolutionary achievement possible.

In other word, if any great revolution occurs in China, it can be mostly accompanied by mean spirituality of leaders who are engaged in the great deed.

That is why you must not simply respect or trust Chinese Communist leaders of today only because their predecessors achieved the great Chinese revolution in the early 20th century.

The New York Times might be thinking that Chinese revolutionary leaders and their successors have been all as great as American independent war heroes and their successors. But, it is not necessarily so, or rather it is opposite as proved by the case of Chinese First Emperor Zheng of Qing.

SECTION II: What Made Revolution Possible

It is of course revolutionary thinking like communism Karl Marx formulated.

Qing people eventually adopted revolutionary thinking in comparison with ideological traditions having been observed in the preceding period of history, namely between 770 B.C. and 221 B.C.

Especially the era between 770 B.C. and 476 B.C. in China is called the Spring and Autumn Period; the one between 476 B.C. and 221 B.C. the Warring States Period. The former is symbolized by the emergence of Confucius and other philosophers; the latter by wider use of iron and its application to weapons (though Qin in this period used highly advanced bronze weapons as effective as iron weapons that had been just started to diffuse).

As time went by, Qin started to view in a revolutionary manner the paradigm of Confucianism and other moral teachings and also apply iron to their weapons in an advanced manner, gaining a great military and political advantage over other kingdoms. However, they were all made possible without a king who was sufficiently a person of noble character and admirable integrity.

Put simply, the kingdom of Qin happened to meet the necessary conditions to realize a revolutionary change and achieve its conquest without contribution from spiritual power of its king.

Again, it tells how powerful and effective the combination of advanced thinking, at any moral level, and advanced weapons, if not original ones, is in carrying out revolution.

You may like to feel some glory in the terms of the First Chinese Empire and the First Chinese Emperor, but true glory was not in them. It was in the history or the era; otherwise, it was among poor people so living and fighting honestly for their own life and causes.

Even today, only poor people, but not elites, in China deserve the honor of recent economic development.

That is why it is stupid for The New York Times to blindly believe what Chinese elites say about the Senkaku Islands and the recent law-enforcing action by the Japan Coast Guard around them. Indeed, total 300 or more Chinese fishing boats are captured, and violent crews on board are arrested by South Korean authorities every year for their illegal fishing operation within the sea territory of South Korea. Though there are no islands such as the Senkaku Islands in the sea between China and Kore, it does not matter for the Chinese fishing industry. It is the norm for Chinese fishing boats to violate a territorial sea of a neighboring country.

But, of course, Japan does not blame poor crews of Chinese fishing boats. It is the fishing industry, related authorities, and elites and governmental agencies of China that has to take responsibility.

Now, The New York Times had better think which Palestine and Jerusalem belong to, Arabs or Israelis, since the existence of Israel looks so revolutionary after WWII.

Japan's Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan is reportedly facing a crisis.

The 40-years-long politician of the same ruling party DPJ Mr. Ichiro Ozawa has rejected a demand from Party Head Mr. Kan that Mr. Ozawa should explain in a parliament committee specifics of the now-legal case of Mr. Ozawa's political-fund scandal.

They met and discussed the matter taking 1.5 hours in the Prime Minister Office today.

As Mr. Ozawa has an influence on 200 national lawmakers of the DPJ and P.M. Mr. Kan 206, according to the result of the recent party leadership election, it is a crisis for the prime minister.

The DPJ is virtually split into two camps, one led by P.M. Mr. Kan and Chief Cabinet Secretary Mr. Yoshito Sengoku and another commanded by Former P.M. Mr. Yukio Hatoyama and his senior ally Mr. Ozawa.

In these months whenever liberal Mr. Kan took a tough stance against old-fashioned Mr. Ozawa, the former's popularity rose. The recent low-approval rating, around 25%, for the Kan Cabinet has all the more made it necessary for P.M. Mr. Kan to resolutely deal with Mr. Ozawa. Yet, Lower-House member Mr. Ozawa took a major part in various political strife since early 1990's; he is a die-hard political guy with various sources of political funds.

This is the biggest news in Japan: Kan vs. Ozawa.

Of course, seeing the big picture, the point at issue is whether or not the conservative pro-American opposition LDP can come back to power through the next general election, though it fell from power last September after half a century dominance in the Japanese political domain.

My advice to the prime minister is to forget about Mr. Ozawa.

Let Mr. Ozawa alone, since he will be soon forced to make appearance in a court as a defendant. He cannot be prime minister. And let him manage his faction in the party. There is no need to expel Mr. Ozawa out of the party, since it will increase instability and uncertainty of the foundation of the DPJ regime.

What I want the prime minister to do is to remove the limit of the amount of government bonds to be newly issued in the next fiscal year. Issue 10 trillion yen more bonds to raise funds for a large-scale revamping of social and welfare infrastructure including various facilities and systems from agriculture to medical care and other high level of public work. If the Kan Cabinet cannot take a bold course of issuing government notes, it has to have the Bank of Japan buy more government bonds worth 10 trillion yen ($115 billion) from market.

What I wanted to say to them is that even if I could receive a $120 million salary I would not live and work like that.

"So, I would rather pay $500 million to avoid such a situation where I have to live and work like that."

"Protection provided for you by money and laws has really blinded you...while the God Almighty has already decided when and how you will be dead."

By the way, I encountered a strange, poor, but fine old woman putting on a strange over-coat, walking poorly a side walk of a bustling commercial street, pushing a kind of dolly, somehow fine, though covered by something like a blanket; so I took some from my pocket to hand it to her as she accepted it. But, the moment I checked what I was presenting I found it was just several minor coins totaling 120 yen or so only enough for a canned coffee in a vending machine. No 500 yen coin was included there, though I went forward to the entrance of a station.

So, you have to be content with any Xmas or New Year present worth more than 120 yen.

And, it was superb to check that today.

Accordingly, five days to the Christmas Eve and 12 days to the New Year Eve.

SECTION II: Ancient Chinese Revolution

The first Chinese kingdom whose existence has been proven archaeologically is Shang (Shou in Japanese) or Yin (In in Japanese). The rising days of Shang roughly corresponded to the era of Abraham, his children, or grandchildren. At the time, ancient Chinese had already started to use letters which were mostly inscribed on the surface of bones, stones, earthenware, and metal ware.

The Shang Dynasty (Chinese: 商朝) or Yin Dynasty (殷代) was according to traditional sources the second Chinese dynasty, after the Xia Dynasty. They ruled in the northeastern regions of the area known as "China proper" in the Yellow River valley. According to the chronology based upon calculations by Liu Xin, the Shang ruled between 1766 BC and 1122 BC, but according to the chronology based upon the Bamboo Annals, they ruled between 1556 BC and 1046 BC...According to historical tradition, the Shang Dynasty followed the (possibly mythical) Xia Dynasty and preceded the Zhou Dynasty.
...
Shang Zhou (商紂), the last Shang king, committed suicide after his army was defeated by the Zhou (周) people. Legends say that his army and his equipped slaves betrayed him by joining the Zhou rebels in the decisive Battle of Muye. According to the lost books of Zhou (逸周書) and Mencius the battle was very bloody. The classic, Ming-era novel Fengshen Yanyi retells the story of the war between Shang and Zhou as a conflict where rival factions of gods supported different sides in the war.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shang_Dynasty

But, after the victory, the Zhou Dynasty was compelled to explain why it had started war against Shang and how it would govern the world.

So, the Zhou Court declared that it had followed the sacred will and order of Heavenly Emperor to rise, fight, and destroy Shang. Zhou leaders also declared that they would govern people based on ethics and morality.

To justify the cruel war they had carried out against Shang, Zhou elites started to write a history of Shang, characterizing past Shang kings and noblemen as incredibly cruel and rotten people. As Shang people were so bad, Heavenly Emperor ordered the king of Zhou to destroy the Shang Dynasty. Through this revolutionary war and victory, ethics and morality would be restored on the world.

This pattern of thinking was taken into basic moral codes of Confucius and other ancient philosophers who emerged after the fall of the Zhou Dynasty.

But, this pattern of behavior has been relayed to Chinese elites through generations after generations to this day.

They curse out their old enemies as terrible as possible. Based on this unlimited accusation of old foes, they justify their acts of war, conspiracy, and brutality.

That is why the Chinese Communist Government never appreciates and praises Japan, their archenemy during the era of WWII, no matter how much they are financially and technologically helped and supported by Japan after WWII. They actually did all the machination they could do to prevent Japan from obtaining a permanent seat in the UN Security Council several years ago.

That is why the Chinese Communist Government is educating Chinese children so as to hate and despise Japan by teaching a false history, such as unilateral invasion and opening of war by the Empire of Japan in 1930's and the massacre in Nanjing. It is for the purpose of justifying the cruel and inhumane dictatorship by the Chinese Communist Party.

This is commonsense among educated Japanese citizens. Yet, among 100 anti-Japanese lies Chinese elites have put into global circulation, some might be really confusing Japanese of today as those lies are so unashamedly and officially presented.

It is very difficult to correct this crooked Chinese behavior so firmly established and inherited over the period of time equivalent to that of the Old and New Testaments.

In the wake of the arrest of the skipper of an illegal Chinese fishing boat by the Japan Coast Guard around Japan's Senkaku Islands in this September, the Chinese Communist Government followed exactly this pattern of behavior.

Yet, if Japanese Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan had authorized a ban on making public the Senkaku video which proves the lies of the Chinese skipper and the Chinese Communist Government while making a secret promise not to make the video open to the world, it would be as bad as the Chinese lies.

This alone could be the reason for the ruling DPJ to lose the next general election.

But, can the pro-American conservative opposition LDP claim that they have followed the sacred will and order of Heavenly Emperor to rise, fight, and destroy the pro-Chinese DPJ and that they will govern people based on ethics and morality if they should win the next general election?

Anyway, as the recent Nobel Peace Prize awarding ceremony made it clear, many Asian countries are watching how Japan would execute its justice on China that has started for granted to unlawfully suppress those neighboring countries in Southeast Asia like it did in Tibet and Islamic regions.

The best thing for me in 2010 was, of course, to observe live, together with peoples and audiences in the world, the rescue of 33 miners from a copper mine in Chile.

I cannot help and rescue 33 persons in the world if they are in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, China, Haiti, or New Zealand like on September 11, 2001.

In this context, Christ Jesus is helping and rescuing two billion and more people.

So, read the Bible before EEE-Reporter.

SECTION I: Braking News - Aurantiochytrium, New Oil Source

Finally, Japanese scientists have confirmed that the algae plant Aurantiochytrium produces a kind of crude oil in water without photosynthesis at costs of one dollar per liter.

Its efficiency of producing oil fuel is 100 times larger than, say, corns! Some other types of algae have the same biological nature, such as Botryococcus braunii, to produce oil fuel in efficiency 10 times larger than, say, corns! But, Aurantiochytrium can produce oil at a 10 to 12 times faster rate than Botryococcus braunii, and thus 100 to 120 times more than corns!!.

However, it is expected to take 10 years to bring this biological fuel made of algae into market.

http://www.biol.tsukuba.ac.jp/~makoto/project.html

So, in 10 to 15 years, Japan will be an oil or algae producer/exporter, since there are so many inhabitants for these algae plants in Japan.

There are at least six countries you should not trust naively: Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Venezuela.

But, they are all a kind of autocratic states like China The New York Times so much trust as proven in the Senkaku illegal fishing incident Japan dealt with to protect its 1000-years long territory of the Senkaku Islands.

SECTION III: What They Said on Oil Price in 2008

The New York Times did Not tell the world that something wrong or terrible was going in the crude oil market that might be indicating a possible crash of the subprime loan-based instrument market, the housing market, Lehman Brothers and the likes, and even bankruptcy of GM.

Oil Prices Take a Nerve-Rattling Jump Past $138
By JAD MOUAWAD
Published: June 7, 2008

...
“This market is going to shoot itself in the foot,” said Adam Robinson, an energy analyst at Lehman Brothers. “It is searching for a price that will build a safety cushion in the system — either as inventories or as spare capacity. This takes time. But the market has gotten extremely impatient and is not willing to wait.”
...
The latest jump came as the dollar lost more than 1 percent against the euro amid bleak economic news that fanned recession fears. The unemployment rate surged to 5.5 percent in May, the government said, the biggest increase in more than two decades.

Friday’s negative news pricked a budding sentiment on Wall Street that the financial system was on the mend, and stocks fell sharply. The Dow Jones industrials lost 394.64 points, or 3 percent, to 12,209.81, with financial stocks showing the biggest declines.
...
The pronounced volatility in energy markets in recent weeks continued to puzzle traders. Prices kept rising despite a lack of shortages in the market and strong evidence of lower consumption in industrialized countries. But investors are caught in a bullish mood, focusing on the perceived risks to future oil supplies and the growth in oil demand from emerging economies, where fuel prices are subsidized.
...
The world currently has about three million barrels a day of spare capacity, and consumes 86 million barrels a day of oil.
...
“The return of the Iranian risk premium calls for a careful assessment of the potential oil supply impact of military strikes on Iran,” said Antoine Halff, an analyst at Newedge, an energy broker.
...
Investors also reacted to the latest forecast by a large Wall Street bank that oil prices would keep rising. Morgan Stanley predicted that prices would spike to $150 a barrel in the next month because of strong demand in Asia.
...
“I find commodity index buying eerily reminiscent of a similar craze for portfolio insurance, which led to the stock market crash of 1987,” Mr. Soros said this week. But he cautioned that an oil market crash was not imminent.
...
“I don’t know how else to say it, this is not a bubble,” Jan Stuart, global oil economist at UBS, said. “I think this is real. There is a whole bunch of commercial buyers out there who are spooked and are buying. You are an airline, right now, you’re scared. I don’t see who would buy at these prices unless they need to.”

Jeffrey Harris, the chief economist at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, who was speaking before a Senate committee last month, said he saw no evidence of a speculative bubble in commodities.

There have been 40 or so winners of the Nobel Prize for Economics in America. But, in 2008, nobody advised The New York Times that something wrong or terrible was going in the crude oil market that might be indicating a possible crash of the subprime loan-based instrument market, the housing market, Lehman Brothers and the likes, and even bankruptcy of GM.

Read the above quoted article issued by The New York Times on June 7, 2008.

Crude oil prices shot up as high as $140 per barrel in the summer of 2008, since Wall Street guys were feeling that they had to earn money in commodities including oil as Lehman Brothers and the likes were failing in their money games and going to go bankrupt.

According to JIJI Press Co., ranking of popular Japanese politicians voters want to see as prime minister in the next political change is as follows:

1. Shigeru Ishiba (LDP)... 8.4%
2. Youichi Masuzoe (Kaikaku)... 8.0%
3. Seiji Maehara (DPJ)... 7.2%
4. Yoshimi Watanabe (Your Party)... 7.0%
5. Naoto Kan (DPJ)... 6.9%...Incumbent P.M.
...
10. Sadakazu Tanigaki (LDP)...3.2%...LDP President
...
12. Yuriko Koike (LDP)...0.8%...female ex-Defense Minister
...
X. "Cannot tell"...35.2%

It is highly expected that after the next general election in Japan, the socialistic DPJ will lose power; the conservative LDP and its allies will take over with LDP President Mr. Tanigaki as new prime minister.

Put boldly, both Japan and the U.S. look like going to have conservative tops in government in 2013.

It is not so bad, since economy can be controlled based on conservative ethics if honestly observed even on Wall Street.

Effect of Regime Change in Economics
(Le changement de régime économique)

There are two types of the second person in Hindi like in German: ap (Sie) and tu/tum (du).

When they call God, they use not ap but tu.

Modern Indians are not like ancient Buddhists like modern Chinese are not like ancient disciples of Confucius and the like.

But, Japanese are, hopefully.

SECTION I: State of Deflation in Japan

Among 181 countries in the world, Japan is the only nation whose price level in society as of 2008 is lower than the level of 2000.

Accordingly, Japan is the 181st in the following ranking chart.

But why? China? Or a lack of currency in Japan?

A blogger who posted the above figure commented that the cause of Japan's deflation in these 20 years is an insufficient amount of money supply or an insufficient rate of circulation of money in society rather than the so called China factor.

However, if another world No.2 economy (China) suddenly emerged so close to the authentic No.2 economy (Japan) in the world, the latter must surely experience deflation.

Japan has needs A and original supply power B.

Price = A/B

With emergence of China, Japan's needs are covered by supply power C from China, too.

Price = A/(B + C)

Therefore, the more Chinese economy grows, the larger its supply to Japan increases.

But, America and Europe also import many Chinese goods. Why Japan only?

It is because so many Japanese companies, specifically, not only large enterprises but also 20,000 medium and small sized companies have transferred their capital and technologies to China. They all first tried to leverage cheap labor costs in China.

These companies and their subsidiaries in China are competing with one another, being forced to sell products in the Japanese market cheap, cheaper, and more cheaper.

These companies and their subsidiaries in China are also globally competing with one another, being forced to export products in the American, the European, and other markets.

This trend is of course further driven by the global competition, being spurred by American strategies and IT innovation.

So, most of Japanese companies have come to stop raising a salary level of their employees, since the average salary level of Chinese workers is still about 10% of Japan's.

This downward pressure from businesses in terms of the financial scale of the industry has led outwardly to an insufficient amount of money supply or an insufficient rate of circulation of money in society. In other word, Japanese companies have come to use less money relatively, so that the whole Japanese society has come to use less money relatively.

In this way, unlike America and Europe, the whole Japanese companies have come to pay less to Japanese workers, leading to less tax revenue to the government. This effect can be represented by K.

Price = (1/K)*A/(B + C)

What's more, Japan is already materially rich. Everything needed in a household, a city, a prefecture, or the nation needs is already provided. Motivation for purchase is not so strong in Japan at every level from an individual to the government. The size of the Japanese land also contributes to this phenomenon. This effect can be represented by N.

Price = (1/K)* (A - N)/(B + C)

K: Degree of linkage with and involvement in Chinese economy
A: Expected needs
N: Factors to reduce needs along with increase of wealth in a given country
B: Supply power in a country
C: Supply power in China effectively used for providing goods to a given country

K, N, and C are far greater in Japan than in America and Europe.

This is the main mechanism of deflation. One of consequences is outwardly an insufficient amount of money supply or an insufficient rate of circulation of money in the Japanese society.

If another world No.2 economy (China) suddenly emerged so close to the authentic No.2 economy (Japan) in the world, the latter must surely experience deflation, since 20,000 small and medium-sized enterprises in Japan would partially move its business into China.

And, one small or medium-sized enterprise has 10 or so close business partners. This effect propagates to 200,000 companies and a few million workers and customers, all toward deflation.

Anyway, it is commonsense that the linkage between the Japanese industry and the Chinese industry is 10 times stronger and closer than between the American/European industry and China's.

And, it is the key to understanding deflation in Japan.

Price = (1/K)* (A - N)/(B + C)

If K = 1, A = 100, N = 0, B = 1, and C = 0,
Price = (1/1)*(100 - 0)/(1 + 0) = 100

If K = 10, A = 100, N = 10, B = 1, and C = 0.2,
Price = (1/1.2)*(100 -10)/(1 + 0.2) = 62.5

Without the economic rise of China, Japan's price level and salary level must be 1.6 times higher, according to the above assumption. So, Japan's GDP must be 60% larger, though it will severely sacrifice Japanese land and natural environment.

SECTION II: Scheme against Deflation

The government sells government bonds to money market.

The central bank should purchase the government bonds from money market.

Then, the government buys back the bonds from the central bank with "government notes" which are only accumulated in the central bank.

The government can even exchange the government notes accumulated in the central bank with central bank notes it has collected from society through taxation, if possible.

The merit here is that the balance sheet of the government is maintained to be sound, though the one of the central bank would look complicated.

The currency of the nation will not be so badly evaluated internationally, since the government balance sheet is sound.

The total amount of money (central bank notes) in the nation can increase as much as its supply power and industrial power, in addition to national potential and power, allows.

Is the regime change possible in China?

The U.S. is now divided more than before the emergence of President Mr. Barack Obama.

Japan is about to start to leave the era of the regime change realized through the 30-8-2009 election.

But this real G2 is going to align phases of their political and diplomatic stances against China, eventually, which can be the most significant threat to China.

As we press North Korea to carry out a through regime change, we have to press China to carry out a more exhaustive regime change so as to correct all the history textbooks used in China.

WikiLeaks proves how important it is to reveal truth to peoples in the world, though what computer hackers could do is always limited in terms of virtue.

The Gospels were written for a similar purpose. Some call them even as Good News.

The media industry today is so unique in this context, since they will be the first ones to inform peoples of Advent of Christ in theory. So, it is not that the best and brightest would try to be involved in the media industry but those involved in this industry have a chance to advance to be the best and brightest, if not a super hero, each.

Do you know the No.9 version at the Nagano Olympics?

Beethoven was unable to get what he dreamed of, though he could express it with sounds.

If the 9th symphony were not for a super hero, whom or what is it for ever?

No matter how much poor or rich, one can advance to be a super hero. This might be a theme. But, it is against the human nature. A super hero must not belong to the world where existence of the rich and the poor is the norm.

At the year end, every year, Japanese people feel compelled to listen to No.9 to make it sure that they are under this law, perhaps...

That is also why they merely love what they can love, like everybody in the world.)

SECTION I: From 1776 To 2008 Through 1997 and 2001 (Recap)

On February 14, 2008, I presented the following family/association tree.

http://eereporter.blogspot.com/2008/02/from-1776-to-2008-through-1997-and-2001.html

The above time-line presentation of people links Rothschilds, Chrurchills, and Princess Diana through British/American high-society members and elite Arabs who are reportedly associated with U.S. President-class politicians and Arab King-class elites.

Behind the scene, in an upside down manner, of the recent part of the timeline are Clintons and Bushs, of course.

President Mr. Clinton missed the ominous sign of the 9/11 Terror of 2001 and President W. Bush missed the ominous sign of the 9/15 Lehman Shock of 2008.

But, Rothschilds and Rockefellers must have never missed the ominous sign of the foolish and violent rise of China as symbolized by the Senkaku illegal-fishing boat incident of September 2010.

SECTION II: Princess Diana (1961-1997) (Recap)

[On December 7, 2010, I presented the following family matrix table concerning Princess Diana.]

Note:
1. James Gomer Berry
James Gomer Berry, 1st Viscount Kemsley GBE (7 May 1883 – 6 February 1968) was a Welsh newspaper publisher.
Berry was the third of three brothers from Merthyr Tydfil in Wales. He originally co-owned The Daily Telegraph with his second brother William, 1st Viscount Camrose, and Baron Burnham.
He founded Kemsley Newspapers, which owned The Sunday Times, The Daily Sketch and The Sunday Graphic amongst its titles.
His youngest son, Conservative politician the Honourable Sir Anthony Berry, was killed by the IRA in the 1984 Brighton hotel bombing.

3. Evelyn Rothschild

Sir Evelyn Robert Adrian de Rothschild (born 29 August 1931)[1] is a British financier, and a member of the Rothschild family.
The son of Anthony Gustav de Rothschild (1887-1961) and Yvonne Cahen d'Anvers (1899-1977), he was named after his uncle Evelyn Achille de Rothschild who was killed in action in World War I.
In 2003, he founded with his wife, Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a holding company, E.L. Rothschild, to manage their investments in The Economist and various enterprises in India.

Chairman - The Economist (1972-1989)
Chairman - British Merchant Banking & Securities House Association (1985-1989)
Deputy Chairman - Milton Keynes Development Corporation (1971-1984)
Chairman - United Racecourses (1977-1994)
Director - De Beers Consolidated Mines (1977-1994)
Director - IBM United Kingdom Holdings Limited (1972-1995)

So, it began when Lady Anne Churchill married with Charles Spencer, 3rd Earl of Sunderland, on 2 January 1700. Indeed, it was 32 years later that George Washington was born in the British colony in America, that is, in 1732. As a matter of course, without this fateful marriage, neither Princess Diana nor Sir Winston Churchill must have been born.
