"knowing their thoughts" - Was Christ Jesus God?

Tokyo

Was Christ Jesus God?

If early Christians had not declared that Christ Jesus was God, there would have been no split between Christianity and Judaism.

If Christians in the Roman Empire had not reinforced their claim that Christ Jesus was God and had not adopted the Trinity theory, there would have been no need for Islam.

Every problem that has ever happened up to today between Jewish people, Christians and Muslims can be ascribed to those stupid attitudes of Christians till the 7th century when Islam was given to Arabs.

How can you believe a religion that declared their guru was God decades after his death or reinforced the theory that  their guru was God centuries after his death.  But one of such religions is Christianity!

It also means that early Christians believed, revered, and followed Christ Jesus while they did not know who or what Christ Jesus was!  How can you trust and believe a religion established by such early Christians?

It is also stupid that early Christians, Christian leaders in the Roman Empire, and even some emperors of the Roman Empires discussed and argued the status of Christ Jesus to finally decide that Christ Jesus was God and God was three.  It was done centuries after the death of Christ Jesus!  How can you believe sanity of these early Christians.  Therefore God decided to protect Judaism and give Islam to Arabs.

It is time for the Pope, the Vatican, and other Christians leaders to start to sincerely discuss and argue what Christ Jesus was.

"when the devil was gone out" - The Gospels & the Acts written in Presence of Hidden Peter

Imperial Palace Plaza, Tokyo

The Gospels & the Acts written in Presence of Hidden Peter

The beginning of each Gospel is as follows:
Mark: Mar 1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

Matthew: Mat 1:1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

Luk 1:1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,
Luk 1:2 Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

So, it is apparent that Mark is based on the recognition that Christ Jesus was the Son of God; Matthew is intended to emphasize the linkage between Christ Jesus and Judaism; Luke aims at appealing to Romans and other people than Jewish ones; and John declares establishment of the new religion of Christianity apart from Judaism.

And, in reference to the history of early Christianity, it should be thought that Mark was written in Rome according to testimonies by Peter; Matthew was written in the middle of persecution on early Christians in Rome to convince Romans that early Christianity was part of Judaism while Paul was under arrest; Luke was written that early Christianity could be a universal teaching even to Romans even if it was part of Judaism as the Jewish-Roman war was approaching; and John was finally written to declare the independent religion of Christianity now that the Jerusalem Temple fell in the war.   And they must have been written in the sequence of Mark, Matthew, Luke and then John.

However, there is one question: Did Peter really go to Rome?   Even in the Acts, descriptions about Peter cannot be found after the release of Peter from a prison with help from angels (the Acts 12).  But there are some books and reports, written around the 2nd century or so, that testified that Peter died in Rome as with Paul.

The key to solving this questions must be that Peter fled the prison under control of Herod, a king of Jewish people.  So Peter was a person wanted by the Jewish authority.  As Herod belonged to the Roman Empire, Peter must have been wanted by the Roman authority, too.  So, the Gospels and the Acts did not reveal whereabouts of Peter.   The Acts ends by describing Paul as follows:
Acts 28:31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

The Acts reads that Paul continued to live in Rome without seeing Peter.  However, it is strongly thought that Paul met Peter in Rome while Peter was wanted by the Roman authority.  So, the author of Luke must have hidden the fact that Peter was in Rome.  It suggests that Mark, Matthew, Luke and the Acts were all written while Paul and Peter were alive or before execution of them.

And from strong linkage among Mark, Matthew, and Luke, it is assumed that they were all written in Rome with presence of Peter still alive.   Therefore they must have been written before or around 64 when Paul and Peter were executed by Nero.

"seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves" - The Jewish-Roman War and the Four Gospels

Around Radioactive Disposal Bag Deposit of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant

The Jewish-Roman War and the Four Gospels

It is said the first Gospel was written by Mark around 66 to 70 AD when the Jewish-Roman war broke out.

However, it is said that Paul and Peter were executed in Rome around 64, which means that Paul and Peter preached Christian Gospels without the Gospel by Mark or any other authors.  So, it is a mystery how they could preach Gospels to non-Jewish people who did not know Judaism and Christ Jesus without the Christian Bible.   For almost 30 years since the execution of Christ Jesus, Paul, Peter, and other leaders of early Christianity were trying to make the teaching of Christ Jesus prevail without the Gospels by Mark, Matthew, Luke and John.

But if Paul, Peter, and other leaders of early Christianity had believed that they belonged to Judaism, it could be understood, since they had already the Judaism Bible.  So, not only Christ Jesus but also Paul and Peter thought they belonged to Judaism but not another religion.  And the first Gospel according to Mark does not declare that God sent Christ Jesus to the world to create a new religion called Christianity.

The Gospel according to Mark stared:
Mar 1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
Mar 1:2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
It is apparent that the gospel by Christ Jesus was meant to be extension of prophecies in Judaism.  But when the Jewish-Roman war was going to break out, would Mark write his Gospel to emphasize the tie between the teaching of Christ Jesus and Judaism?

And the Gospels according to Mathew and Luke were based on Mark, while it is said that they were written  between 70 and  90 AD after the Jewish-Roman war.  If so, it is strange that the graveness of effect of the war is not reflected in these Gospels.

However, the Gospel according to John clearly shows the impact of the war and the consequential fall of the Jerusalem Temple:
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
This Gospel was written clearly with intention to establish a new religion apart from Judaism, which should reflect the graveness of effect of the Jewish-Roman war.   Compared with John, Mark, Matthew, and Luke were written within the paradigm of Judaism, although they seem to make some distinction between followers of the teaching of Christ Jesus outside Jerusalem and those in Jerusalem.

The most important incident in the 1st century for Judaists was the fall of the Jerusalem Temple in the Jewish-Roman war.  It must have had serious effects on early Christians.  And the seriousness is reflected in John but not in Mark, Matthew, and Luke.  Therefore, Mark, Matthew, and Luke must have been written before the Jewish-Roman war.

Another question is whether Mark, Matthew, and Luke were written while Paul or Peter was alive, whereas it is said that the two leading figures of early Christianity outside Jerusalem were executed by Roman Emperor Nero in Rome around 64 AD, four years before the  Jewish-Roman war.

"he went out unto Bethany with the twelve" - Theory on Pantera as Jesus's Father

Around National Diet Bldg., Tokyo

Theory on Pantera as Jesus's Father

There is a theory that the true father of Christ Jesus was a Roman soldier called  Pantera:
Tiberius Julius Abdes Pantera (c. 22 BC – AD 40) was a Roman soldier whose tombstone was found in Bingerbrück, Germany, in 1859. A historical connection from this soldier to Jesus has long been hypothesized by numerous scholars....Both the ancient Talmud and medieval Jewish writings and sayings reinforced this notion, referring to Jesus as "Yeshu ben Pantera" (Jesus, son of Pantera).
The hypothesis is considered unlikely by mainstream scholars given that there is little other evidence to support the Pantera paternity outside of the Jewish texts
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiberius_Julius_Abdes_Pantera)
The Gospels of Mathew and Luke both described genealogies of Christ Jesus up to Abraham and Adam, respectively.  However, descriptions about Jesus's father Joseph are mysteriously scare in any Gospels according to Mark, Mathew, Luke and John.  And the theory on Pantera as the true father of Christ Jesus may be said to be as vague as the descriptions on Joseph in the Gospels.
Tabor tells us the following. Eliezer ben Hyrcanus who lived at the end of the first century AD spoke of what he learned from a man who followed Jesus. The man was Jacob of Sikhnin from Sepphoris. Jacob passed on Jesus' teaching in the name of Jesus the son of Panteri. There was a dispute mentioned among rabbis if it was allowed to try and miraculously heal snake bites in the name of Jesus the son of Panter. They don't say why Jesus was called the Son of Panteri. It is clear then that the Jews were not using this designation in a nasty way. Tabor says Panteri is not a play on the Greek word for virgin which is parthenos for the words are too different. Adolf Deissmanns research in 1906 verified that the name was used at the alleged time of Jesus and was favoured by Roman soldiers . . .

In Germany, there is a tombstone of a Roman soldier who went to Germany from Palestine. It goes Tiberius Julius Abdes Pantera of Sidon aged 62 - a soldier of 60 years service of the first cohort of archers lies here. This man died in the middle of the first century AD and could well have been Jesus' father.

Tabor states that Abdes is a given name. It was given in honour. It is a latinized version of ebed an Aramaic word meaning servant of God. Thus Pantera could have been a Jew by religion and race.   (http://www.miraclesceptic.com/pantera.html)
If you cannot deny 100% the theory on Pantera as the true father of Christ Jesus as you cannot prove anything about Joseph from the Gospels, you should consider what it means if the theory should be true.

In the case, it means that we have the tomb of Jesus's father while we don't have Jesus's. In deed, ”So the last will be first, and the first last."  And further, "For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open."

And it might be natural that Christ Jesus seemed to expect that His teaching would prevail to the Roman Empire as He so implied to Paul, etc.

"if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth" - Mark, Peter, James and the Young Man

Tokyo

Mark, Peter, James and the Young Man

The Gospel of Mark has some interesting description:
Mar 14:48 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me?Mar 14:49 I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.Mar 14:50 And they all forsook him, and fled.Mar 14:51 And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him:Mar 14:52 And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.Mar 14:53 And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.
Who was this "certain young man"?
One could answer that Mark recorded it because it happened, which is certainly true, but it doesn’t explain why he chose to include this detail and leave out dozens of others.
Another possible answer is that the “young man” was John Mark himself, and because it was personal he wished to include it in the Gospel. This is possible, but not very likely since the early Church fathers understood the young man to be either John the Apostle (Ambrose, Chrysostom) or James (Epiphanius). But even if the young man was John Mark, there must be more to the story than John Mark including a personal anecdote. Running off naked must have meant something more to his original audience. (http://www.themichigancatholic.org/2015/01/the-naked-truth-about-the-young-man-in-mark/)
The Gospel according to Mark contains various criticism against Peter and other disciples who followed Christ Jesus but could not fully understand the word of Christ Jesus.  When this Gospel was written 30 years after the execution of Christ Jesus, early Christians were split roughly into a group around the Temple of Jerusalem, consisting of Jewish people, and another group in Rome and other cities in the Roman Empire, consisting of non-Jewish people in addition to Jewish Christians.  Mark is said to have been working with Peter who had fled Jerusalem and Palestine to avoid arrest by leaders and authorities of Judaism and finally came to Rome, probably, to help Paul.

However, James,  a brother of Christ Jesus, stayed in Jerusalem and became the head of early Christians, eventually succeeding Christ Jesus and taking over the No.1 disciple Peter.  But, there arose friction, controversies, and rivalry between the two groups of the early Christians, although they both were facing antagonism from Jewish authorities.  So, it looks natural that Mark who followed Peter leaving Jerusalem and coming to Rome had no intimate ties with the Jerusalem group.  So it is no wonder that Mark put criticism on the disciples of Christ Jesus most of whom continued to stay in Jerusalem into his Gospel, even including some criticism on Peter (probably for the purpose of showing humbleness of Peter).  And the leader of the Jerusalem group was James, a brother of Christ Jesus.

Put simply, the young man who fled the scene of the arrest of Christ Jesus leaving his linen clothes must be James, a brother of Christ Jesus.  James must be also the mysterious young man depicted as a "young disciple Christ Jesus loved most" in other parts of Mark and other Gospels.

Mark and Peter must have expected that James in Jerusalem would read the Gospel and would be ashamed of the scene as Peter would be when recalling the incident where he left Christ Jesus with other disciples as they were afraid of being killed by Jewish authorities and Roman soldiers.

The description of the young man in the scene of the arrest must be a message to James, a brother of Christ Jesus, who was leading the Jerusalem group.  But true intention and meaning of the description are still mystery.

Incidentally, it also tells that the Gospel by Mark was written while James and Peter were alive, earlier than conventionally believed by the Vatican, scholars, and experts.

"but for the glory of God" - God is God; Christ Jesus is Christ Jesus!

Tokyo

God is God; Christ Jesus is Christ Jesus!

It is now understood that Christianity today is different from real and true teaching of Christ Jesus.

The teaching of Christ Jesus is within the scope of Judaism.  But Peter failed to completely and perfectly carry the teaching to Jewish people and other peoples.  Paul deviated from His teaching.  The early Christian leaders modified His teaching by introducing the doctrine that Christ Jesus was God.  And finally, the Church leaders in the Roman Empire changed the spirit of His teaching by adopting the Trinity theory.

Then God destructed the Roman Empire to give warning to Christians in the Empire.  But they stuck to those teachings they formulated.

So, God gave Islam to Arabs or peoples living in the east of the Roman Empire.  But, Christian leaders and the Vatican would not change the contents of their teaching.

By allowing existence and expansion of Judaism and Christianity for more than 1000 years, God patiently waited for Christians to realize their mistakes.  This is the trend of the history of the mankind in these 2000 years.

Especially, while there are three major monotheistic religions originated by Abraham and two of them deny that Christ Jesus was God, how could Christianity only continue to hoist the theory that Christ Jesus was God?

God is God; Christ Jesus is Christ Jesus!  The sun ins the sun; the moon is the moon!  The Vatican once made a big mistake to deny the heliocentric theory!  It proved that the Vatican could make any serious mistakes.

So, Satan has partly succeeded in reducing holy effect of Christianity.  But, it should be stopped as it has past 2000 years since the birth of Christ Jesus.

"I give unto them eternal life" - Christianity and Islam

Tokyo

Christianity and Islam

It is very significant that Islam was given to the mankind after Christianity.

Christ Jesus did not say that Islam would be given to the mankind, while Christian leaders have claimed that the coming of Christ Jesus was predicted or prophesied in the Old Testament or Judaism.  As a matter of fact, Islam got billion or more followers today, which could not be possible without the religion being authentic.

One of the critical things to Christianity is the emergence of Islam where the same God as that of Judaism and Christianity is revered.  If Christianity had been perfect and complete, there could not have been Islam or there should not have been a need for any new religions including Islam.

However, Christians and Muslims have not discussed this issue or why God gave Islam over Christianity to show their respect for God.

Did God make a mistake?  Or, either of Christianity or Islam is a kind of error?  What does it mean if God never makes a mistake while He gave Christianity and Islam?  The mankind should find an answer to this question in this century so as to please the God.

"the works that I do in my Father's name" - Why Christianity Spread so Rapidly and Widely

Tokyo Olympic Stadium under Construction for 2020

Why Christianity Spread so Rapidly and Widely

It is still a mystery why Christianity spread so rapidly and widely across the Roman Empire.

No Bible books give a clear answer to the question.  So, the Vatican ascribes the wonder to St. Peter and St. Paul.  However, there are no clear gospels or records about their deeds except the Act, etc.  Even it is not clear when the Act was written.

However, it is said to be true that first Paul was executed in Rome, and then brother of Christ Jesus James was killed in Jerusalem,  and finally Peter was killed by Nero in Rome around 67 AD before the Jewish-Roman War.

So, it is apparent that early followers of Christ Jesus were not afraid of death.  If 10 men are engaged in any enterprise without being afraid of death, they could make some great thing.  But, if 10,000 men are engaged in any enterprise without being afraid of death, they could make some greater thing.

Put simply, early Christians across the Roman Empire must have believed Christ Jesus as the son of God, which made them unafraid of death.  But what elements of early Christianity made them convinced that Christ Jesus was the son of God?

There must have been many miracles among early Christians that were not recorded or told but made them convinced that Christ Jesus was the son of God.  Only miracles people personally experienced could have such effect.  But what are those untold miracles?

Maybe, 10,000 individual miracles must have occurred to 10,000 early Christians in the Roman Empire (but no miracles might have been admitted by Jewish people).

"the children shall rise up against their parents" - Get through Different Dimensions to God

Tokyo Olympic Stadium under Construction

Get through Different Dimensions to God

This universe is three-dimensional in terms of space, although it can be regarded as 4-dimensional with time and further 5-dimensional with spirit.

But God might be 4-dimensional in terms of space, or more than 4-dimensional.  So then, it is impossible for us to correctly comprehend what God is.  Or, God is perfectly safe from us, since we, three-dimensional, cannot even touch God, even if we all become servants of Satan.

Human beings must resemble to God projected to the three-dimensional world.  But human beings cannot resemble God in the 4 or more dimensional world, since we are still three-dimensional even in the 4 or more dimensional world.  The cross-section view of God of 4 or more dimensions might look a three-dimensional man, but it is like a globe looking like a circle in a cross-section view from 3-dimensions to 2-dimensions.

Furthermore, in the spiritual domain, human beings may be said to have two dimensions: goodness and badness.  But, God might have more dimensions in the spiritual domain.

It is said that God created human beings according to His image.  But correctly, it should be said that God created human beings according to His three-dimensionally projected image.

That is why God does not punish bad men immediately; God did not dispose of Hitler before his killing so many Jewish people; God allowed so many wars to be fought among human beings; and God had Christ Jesus executed in Jerusalem 2000 year ago.

So, the way to understand God is narrow.  However, the way to understand Satan is easy and wide.  The way to God must get through different dimensions, which could be realized only with help from Christ Jesus.  This must be what is meant in the teaching of Christ Jesus.

(In addition, it is no wonder that Gnosticism failed to try to comprehend God in different dimensions by regrading Him being three dimensional.)

"take no thought how or what" - Jesus must have been directly killed by Romans

Tokyo Station

Jesus must have been directly killed by Romans

Jewish authority killed many Jewish enemies  without committing their execution to Roman troops that occupied Palestine 2000 yeas ago.

Before the execution of Christ Jesus the Temple authority of Jerusalem and Jewish kings killed John the Baptist and other Jewish enemies for religious and political reasons.  After the execution of Christ Jesus the Temple authority of Jerusalem and Jewish kings killed Saint Stephen and other Jewish enemies for religious and political reasons.  But they committed the execution of Christ Jesus to a Roman governor in Jerusalem.

It tells other truth of relationship between Christ Jesus and Jewish authority 2000 years ago.

If Christ Jesus had been beheaded or stoned to death directly by Jewish authority, namely by some Jewish people, God would not have allowed continued existence of Judaism or the tribe or race of Jewish people, since Christ Jesus was His son or was regarded as such by God Himself.

However, because Jewish authority was responsible for the death of Christ Jesus, no matter how indirectly, God later destroyed Jerusalem by allowing Roman troops to attack Jerusalem and Jewish insurgents.  And, because Romans were directly responsible for the execution of Christ Jesus, God caused destruction of the Roman Empire before the fifth century.

Consequently, there happened great discontinuity in Europe in terms of succession of the Roman Civilization.  Indeed, the fall of the Roman Empire is regarded as a kind of mystery even today.  However, the Jewish people and Judaism have survived to date.  But, if Jewish authority in religion and politics had directly killed Christ Jesus, the Jewish people and Judaism must have disappeared like the Roman Empire.  And if Roman troops in Jerusalem had not directly killed Christ Jesus, the Roman Empire might exist even today with its notable features of cruelty and belligerence.

Therefore, Christ Jesus must have been directly killed by Roman troops but indirectly by Jewish authority 2000 years ago.

"enquire who in it is worthy" - One of Mysteries of Early Christianity

Tokyo and its extension

One of Mysteries of Early Christianity

Christ Jesus had siblings:
The Gospel of Mark 6:3 and the Gospel of Matthew 13:55–56 state that James, Joses (or Joseph), Jude and Simon were the brothers of Jesus, the son of Mary. The same verses also mention unnamed sisters of Jesus. Mark 3:31–32 tells about Jesus' mother and brothers looking for Jesus. A verse in the Epistle to the Galatians 1:19 mentions seeing James, "the Lord's brother", and none other of the apostles except Peter, when Paul went to Jerusalem after his conversion. The "brothers of the Lord" are also mentioned, alongside (but separate from) Cephas and the apostles in 1 Corinthians 9:5, in which it is mentioned that they had wives. Some scholars claim that Jesus' relatives may have held positions of authority in the Jerusalem area until Trajan excluded Jews from the new city that he built on its ruins.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brothers_of_Jesus
Among them James was especially notable:
Modern interpretation
The Encyclopædia Britannica relates that "James the Lord's brother was a Christian apostle, according to St. Paul, although not one of the original Twelve Apostles."[1] According to Schaff, James seems to have taken the place of James the son of Zebedee, after his martyrdom, around 44 AD.[14]

Modern historians of the early Christian churches tend to place James in the tradition of Jewish Christianity; whereas Paul emphasized faith over observance of Mosaic Law, James is thought to have espoused the opposite position.[clarification needed][note 6]
According to Schaff, James was the local head of the oldest church and the leader of the most conservative portion of Jewish Christianity.[14] Scholar James D. G. Dunn has proposed that Peter was the "bridge-man" (i.e. the pontifex maximus) between the two other "prominent leading figures": Paul and James the Just.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James,_brother_of_Jesus#Modern_interpretation
But James was killed by the Judaism authority in Jerusalem.
According to Josephus James was stoned to death by Ananus ben Ananus.[73]

Clement of Alexandria relates that "James was thrown from the pinnacle of the temple, and was beaten to death with a club".[68]

Hegesippus cites that "the Scribes and Pharisees placed James upon the pinnacle of the temple, and threw down the just man, and they began to stone him, for he was not killed by the fall. And one of them, who was a fuller, took the club with which he beat out clothes and struck the just man on the head".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James,_brother_of_Jesus#Death
So, first John the Baptist was killed; then Christ Jesus was killed, then James, a brother of Christ Jesus, was killed; and then Peter and Paul were killed in Rome.

Christianity was born through all these tragic deaths.  It tells how strong hatred, anger, and hostility against them were.  It also means that Christianity was established through literally deadly conflicts between the camp of Christ Jesus and that of opponents.

Judaism had also the history of deadly conflicts with other tribes and religions.  Islam was also established through wars.  The three great monotheistic religions were all launched through deadly fights between believers and opponents.  We may as well change our views on the religions.

Especially, it is grave that Christ Jesus and one of His brothers were killed by religious enemies in Jerusalem, since Christ Jesus was the Son of Gog who must have power to save his brother.  Why didn't Jesus help and save James?  It is one of mysteries of early Christianity.

"eat such things as are set before you" - Gospel of Peter/Mark

A City North of Tokyo

Gospel of Peter/Mark

It is now thought among experts that the Gospel according to Mark was actually based on a story told by St. Peter.

That must be the reason why the Gospel according to Mark was adopted for canonical books, and other Gospels according to Matthew, Luke and John followed Mark.

Indeed, in the Gospel according to Mark, other scenes and conversations between Christ Jesus and other disciples are rare, and some episodes only Peter had known were recorded.  Mark must have traveled with Peter after Peter disappeared from the Acts around 48 AD, leaving Jerusalem to run away from persecution by the Jewish authority.  But was the Gospel written during this journey?  The Acts did not say even Paul and Peter met in Rome although both were killed by Emperor Nero in Rome.

As Peter belonged to Judaism that had its own Bible, it is unthinkable that Peter presented a new holy book.  Peter must have preached by talking to people outside Palestine without distributing the Gospel based on his memory and written by Mark.  So, there must have been a strong motivation for Peter to have Mark write a story of Christ Jesus and Peter.  As finally Peter went to Rome, he must have met Paul and tried to save Paul from a Roman trial.  To save Paul, Peter must have tried to show who and what Christ Jesus was to the Roman authority.  If Roman citizens understood their religion was not a dangerous religion, Paul might be released.  So, Peter must have had Mark write the Gospel.

Accordingly, the Gospel according to Mark was regarded as authentic among early Christians since its release to the public.  Therefore, Matthew, Luke, and John who had never seen Christ Jesus living and preaching had to partly or mostly copy Mark, although they must have also heard some other facts from Peter or Mark, thus modifying the Gospel of Mark.

But why did not Luke write the Paul and Peter met in Rome?  It is another mystery.
The Gospel of Mark or of Peter?
There is extremely reliable evidence through church tradition and early church historians that the Gospel of Mark is actually the gospel of Peter. Peter is said to have dictated his discipleship with Jesus to John Mark, who was a companion of his for many of the later years of his life. If you read the Gospel of Mark you can see the extremely fine details of what appears to be an eyewitness from the perspective of Peter. John Mark was not ever a disciple of Jesus and he was not an apostle. There is little doubt that the work of Mark and his gospel is actually the story of Peter who retold the story and then was written down by John Mark. This is testified by the fact that Mark was not present for Jesus’ ministry and the extremely intimate details that are described in Mark. Some of the events where Peter, John, and James who were often alone with Jesus, like the Transfiguration, are like a first-person retelling of the story.

"What did Moses command you?" - Paul and the Gospels

Tokyo

Paul and the Gospels

There is a fundamental question about early Christianity.
Did Paul have access to Four gospels?

If you mean did he have access to Mark, Luke, John and Matthew? Not exactly.
Modern analysis suggests Paul lived 5AD-67AD.
The Gospels were almost certainly written after he died.
However, it’s pretty clear the Synoptic Gospels share 1 or more common sources, which means there may have been written documents during his lifetime that he was familiar with.
https://www.quora.com/Did-Paul-have-access-to-Four-gospels
However, in most of time, it is believed, Paul preached without knowledge of actual Christ Jesus.  Paul did not see or meet living Christ Jesus.  It is said that only once Paul encountered the spirit of Christ Jesus, which turned Paul from a persecutor of early Christians to the great leader of early Christians.

If so, what could Paul preach without knowing contents of the Gospels according to Mark, Luke, and Matthew?  What did Paul tell to Jewish people and Roman citizens at the time?  Why could Paul be so sure that he was delivering the teaching of Christ Jesus written in the Gospels?  And then, how did early Christian churches established by Paul without concrete knowledge about Christ Jesus come to accept and authorize those Gospels without authorization by Paul?

Paul traveled outside Palestine, preached the teaching of Christ Jesus and God, and established early Christian churches without concrete knowledge about Christ Jesus.

Then around the time when Paul was executed by Nero in Rome, the Gospels came to appear.  And, as time went by, Christian leaders accepted these Gospels and came to regard them as holy books, which tells that they believed that what was written in these Gospels were true.

The issue is the relationship between Paul, the great founder of the Christian Church, and the Gospels by Mark, Luke and Matthew.

If Paul thought it was necessary to have a gospel depicting life and the status of preaching of Christ Jesus for his mission, he should have asked somebody who had witnessed the actual work of Christ Jesus to write a document depicting His life.  However, it is not Paul who took initiative in writing the Gospels.

My theory is that: While Paul was forced to live in Rome till judgment by the Roman authority, Peter came to Rome.  Peter asked Marco to write a gospel to save Paul by diffusing truth of Christ Jesus among Romans and showing that Christianity was not dangerous teaching.   But due to the big fire in Rome set by Nero, Peter was also arrested as one of Christians set as scapegoat for arson by Nero.   Then to save Paul and Peter, Matthew wrote his gospel based on Marco to save Paul and Peter by showing that Christians were part of Judaism.  However, Paul and Peter were executed despite these efforts by Marco and Matthew.  So, to prevent disturbance among early Christians, Luke wrote his version of gospels based on Marco and Matthew.  Finally, after the fall of Jerusalem in the Jewish-Roman War, the necessity to establish Christianity separately from Judaism made John write his version of gospels from a different angle than Marco, Matthew, and Luke.

Circumstances in creating the Gospels of Marco, Mathew, and Luke must have been centered around Paul.  This mus be the truth.

But still a mystery remains: How could Paul establish early Christian churches without concrete knowledge of Christ Jesus and without reading the Gospels?

"be slain, and be raised the third day" - Christians and Judaists

Tokyo

Christians and Judaists

There seem to be many reasons why the Old Testament is included in Christianity.

The main reason must be that Christ Jesus relied on Judaism at the time, namely 2000 years ago, and the Old Testament.  There is no denying that Christ Jesus admitted the effect and authority of the Old Testament.

But if Christ Jesus had said that He had come from different God than God of Judaism, no people around him, namely Jewish people of 2000 years ago, would have accepted and followed Him.  What Christ Jesus respected should be respected by His followers and what Christ Jesus hated should be hated by His followers.  Therefore, early Christians, the Vatican and other Christian churches must have included the Old Testament in their holy books.

However, it is a kind of mystery that Christians did not accept Jewish people for almost 2000 years in the history while they also handled the Old Testament as their own holy books.  Logically, part of Christianity overlaps Judaism through the Old Testament.  But Christians have not regraded Judaists as a kind of Christians, and Judaists did not claim that they were a kind of Christians.

Maybe, Jewish people rejected to be dealt with as the second class of Christians, since there were a sense of hierarchy in Christianity as well observed in the Vatican.

The solution may be to stop using the term of Christianity and Christians as well as Judaism and Jews.  They should each call themselves people under God and use the common name of their religions such as Goddism.

"fragments that remained to them twelve baskets" - Mark against Mathew and Luke

West of Tokyo

Mark against Mathew and Luke

According to one theory about the establishment of the Gospels, Mathew and Luke were written in reference to Mark.

The authors of Mathew and Luke read the Gospel according to Mark but modified its contents according to their own interpretation of the life of Christ Jesus and added some new elements to Mark.   Therefore, the general outlines of Mathew and Luke became similar to that of Mark.  In other word, if Mark and Luke had not made out their versions of the Gospel based on Mark, the three versions could not have been akin to one another.

However, it meant that Mathew and Luke admitted authenticity of Mark.  But how could they be sure that the Gospel according to Mark was 100% true?  Or did they know who the author of Mark was?  What made Mathew and Luke believe the contents of Mark?

The most reasonable answer is that Mathew and Luke knew who Mark was and that Mark was someone close to Christ Jesus to the degree above suspicion.  In deed, Mark could be only written by someone who had directly witnessed the deeds and heard the words of Christ Jesus.

But it is more interesting that Mathew and Luke did not mention the author of Mark in their versions of the Gospel.  They did not even mention the existence of the Gospel according to Mark.  The Gospels are indeed keys to understanding early Christianity.

"what the rising from the dead should mean" - Satan before the Cross

West of Tokyo

Satan before the Cross

One hidden major player in the Gospels was Satan.

The preaching and activities of Christ Jesus were all done under monitoring by Satan as well as God.  Indeed, Satan appeared in front of Christ Jesus during his prayer in the wilderness for 40 days.  Truly, Christ Jesus sometimes drove an evil spirit out of a man.

Christ Jesus must have seen Satan's influence on the Jewish society of 2000 years ago in elite Jewish people and Judaism priests as well as in Roman rulers.  But, Christ Jesus did not come to preach the gospel to them, make them repent and forgive them.  He rather preached the gospel to poor people and ordinary people who were less occupied by Satan.

Satan was watching Christ Jesus preaching and healing poor people.  But while Christ Jesus was working in Galilee, Satan would not try to take on Christ Jesus.  But when Christ Jesus acted passionately especially in the Jerusalem Temple, Satan got a chance to push Christ Jesus into a corner.

It is not clear what Satan expected when Christ Jesus was betrayed by one of His disciples and sentenced to death by the Roman Governor.  Satan might have expected God to interfere.  Satan might have just wanted to enjoy seeing Christ Jesus get embarrassed and shamed as He could not prevent the betrayal and the arrest.

However, it seems that there is one thing sure.  Satan must have been surprised to see Christ Jesus simply and obediently die on the cross without interference of God.  Satan must have been confused and puzzled: "The Son of God should not die like that."  On the contrary, after the death of Christ Jesus on the cross, Christianity started to prevail.  The religion occupied the Roman Empire, which must have upset Satan.  Satan must have surely felt ashamed of his shallow wisdom and cheap strategy.

But, Satan did not simply give up.  He tried to confuse the Christian church.  Satan succeeded in imbuing a very stupid theory in the church that God was three and three were one God.  Satan did many stupid tricks to the church, but as the most remarkable influence of Satan, this theory still remains today in the Christian church.

We may as well start to check creeds and ideologies of the Vatican and the Protestant churches so as to remove influences of Satan.  Anyway, the Vatican and the Christian churches should admit that Satan is so strong that even the Gospels are not free from interference by Satan.  Yet, before God, Satan is nothing.  We may laugh at Satan as he must have been dismayed to see Christ Jesus simply and obediently die on the cross.

What a stupid guy Satan was before the cross!

"This is my beloved Son" - Infinite God at the Core of Finite Christ Jesus

Pacific Coast West of Tokyo

Infinite God at the Core of Finite Christ Jesus

It is amazing that the rather simple life and teaching of Christ Jesus led to a great amount of religious work, operations, and studies.

It is true that Christ Jesus acted and preached in the extension of Judaism, but followers, Christian priests, scholars, etc. developed the new religion Christianity on a different basis from Judaism, producing various religious contents.  How could they enrich Christianity that started from the rather simple life and teaching of Christ Jesus?

The key to comprehending Christ Jesus and His words and deeds is God rather than Judaism.  The only sure thing about Christ Jesus is that He had stronger linkage with God than anybody.  When thinking about His words, people would finally face wisdom and power of God.  When analyzing the life of Christ Jesus, people would finally face intention and plans of God.

It might be possible that other men than Christ Jesus act and speak like Christ Jesus and even perform miracles like Christ Jesus did, but if they have no linkage to God as strong as Christ Jesus', no new religion comparable to Christianity should come to exist.  They might even show love to the poor and the weak like Christ Jesus, but if they have no linkage to God as strong as Christ Jesus', no new religion comparable to Christianity should come to exist.

So, it is God that made Christ Jesus succeed in establishing Christianity.  As there was God at the core of life, deeds, and words of Christ Jesus, that rather simple life and teaching of Christ Jesus could lead to establishment of contents-rich Christianity.

God is infinite.  It is almost impossible for men to perceive Him.  So, God used a finite man so that men could easily perceive him.  God is covering the whole university.  Men cannot satisfactorily comprehend Him.  But, Christ Jesus was a finite man so that men could easily perceive Him.

Put extremely, the only way for men to access infinite God is though the special finite man Christ Jesus.  Otherwise, men should have to only stand foolishly and blindly before infinite God.

"to preach the kingdom of God" - Keys to Heaven and Hell

Pacific Coast, West of Tokyo

Keys to Heaven and Hell

A notable Japanese Buddhist, called Shinran, said in the 13th century, "If you made ascetic training as much as you can to achieve enlightenment and get admitted to the paradise,  you may still fall into the hell although you might succeed to enter the paradise."

Some contemporary Buddhist priest in Hawaii translated the teaching as follows: You have a key that can open the paradise but also the hell.   Before delivering this version of the Buddhist teaching to people, the monk said that he would tell a teaching they would never forget.

An American physicist wrote that he indeed could not forget the teaching, since the teaching might have an analogy to a theory of modern physics.

Shinran continued: "So, you have to abandon your ambition to get enlightened through your own ascetic training and every religious effort.  If you want to be saved and admitted to the paradise, you have to fully trust and rely on Amitabha Buddha.  Only you have to do is chant the Buddhist chant I recommend to you, which is "Namu amidabutsu!"

"Namu amidabutsu" means that "I fully become a believer of Amitabha Buddha and thus I salute to Amitabha Buddha."  And then, the Buddhists who practice this chanting will be surely saved by Amitabha Buddha without hard ascetic training.  Even sinners and criminals will be saved only if they also chant this simple chant.  Ascetic training might or might not save you finally, but chanting of "Namu amidabutsu" will surely save you.  This is the teaching of Shinran recognized as one of the greatest monks in Japan in 1500 years of the history of Japanese Buddhism.

It is Amitabha Buddha that has a key to the paradise for each one according to Shinran.

In the teaching of Christ Jesus, it is Christ Jesus that has a key to Heaven for each one.  And it is everybody that has a key to the hell.  Do not be made a fool of by stupid monks.

"he that sent me is true" - Wrong Ideology of the Vatican

The Arakawa River, around Tokyo

Wrong Ideology of the Vatican

God created human beings according to the Bible and the Christianity doctrine.

Then how would He behave if He should come to the human world?  God knows how little power the human beings have so that they cannot harm Him.  In other words, God is invincible in the human world, since He is the creator of the mankind.  There seems to be no reason for God not to behave as the lord of the mankind when He comes to the human world.  God would immediately make Himself known to all the mankind.  Then all the people would recognize God and immediately show full respect to Him.

But, the Vatican still claims that Christ Jesus was God Himself, while Christ Jesus did not declare that He was God and He did not behave like God, making all the people recognize Him as God.

God is the creator of the mankind.  God is the creator of the earth, the sun, and all the stars in the sky.  God is the creator of the whole universe and the physical world.  God is the creator of every material and spiritual work inside the human mind, too.  With this great and super power of God, how should He come to this world as a mere man named Jesus, if his purpose for coming to the human world is to have the mankind recognize that God has come to them?

Accordingly, the more you have learnt Christianity, the stronger your doubt about the creed that Jesus is God will be.  But, even if you come to doubt the Vatican's doctrines, you would not stop enjoying benefits you are receiving as elites in the Vatican.  However, your faith in justice and good will be harmed.  You may even come not to believe any creeds of the church.  You will be morally rotten if you happen to ascend to the throne of the Pope.

So, there is danger to call Christ Jesus God.  Especially, it is the Vatican that decided that Christ Jesus was God.  God never appeared before people and declared that He was Christ Jesus or Christ Jesus was He.

If it is against the will of God for the Vatican and the church to call Christ Jesus God, it is a big sin.  If the Vatican and the church were established and have been working based on wrong belief, it is natural that they could not prevent wars and other tragedies in these 2000 years.

However, all the merits of the Vatican and the Christian church cannot be denied.  Only Satan would be satisfied, if the Vatican and the Christian church were completely denied and destroyed.

Nonetheless, it depends on God what fate the Vatican and the church would face in the future, since 2000 years have already passed since the emergence of Christ Jesus.

"ye shall die in your sins" - How Christ Jesus Ate Delivering Gospels

West of Tokyo

How Christ Jesus Ate Delivering Gospels

It is strange that what and how Christ Jesus told and taught or behaved to His disciples, followers, and hosts of breakfasts, lunches, suppers, or feasts except a few cases of a wedding banquet, the Last Supper, etc. are not described abundantly in the Bibles.

One must eat to live and work.  Christ Jesus and other twelve, etc. must have also eaten somewhere and somehow every day.  In a year, they had hundred times of such an occasion.  Then, hundreds of teaching and parables should have been delivered from Christ Jesus in a year, some part of which should have been recorded in the Gospels.  But there are no such records described.

In addition, while there are four types of Gospels, their contents were too similar to one another without such an expected variety of contents.  Suppose that four authors try to write the life of Trump, Obama, Bush, or Clinton in their books, contents of each book must be widely different with so much different episodes of a selected president.  But, it is as if one writer had written all the four gospels in different occasion in different moods based on one memo of deeds and words of Christ Jesus.  And, we have almost no other documents reporting a live figure of Christ Jesus.

If there had not been the Gospels but only Paul's letters had been only documents available for believers or possible believers, could Christianity prevail so much in the Roman Empire and the later world?  Besides, St. Paul did not try to show and explain what and how the life of Christ Jesus had been.  St. Paul even did not know living and alive Christ Jesus!

But if one of followers or disciples had written the original or source document for the Gospels, could he or she neglect the teaching or parables Christ Jesus should have surely delivered at meals?  He or she should have also reported how Christ Jesus had dinner and what prayer He had delivered.  It is because talks at meals are  impressive for everybody in any era, so that if the original Gospel writer had joined meals with Christ Jesus, he or she could not have missed the scenes at meals.

From this point of view, the author of the underlying document for the Gospels or the Q document cannot be a member of disciples or followers of live Christ Jesus.  Then who wrote the document?

The possibility is that the author was Christ Jesus Himself or somebody who had followed and accompanied the band of Christ Jesus for a special purpose from the beginning to the apprehension of Christ Jesus.  Anyway, the author of the source document of the Gospels looks very close to Christ Jesus from the beginning.

However, there can be still other source documents that have been hidden for 2000 years, although the Gospel of Thomas, found in Egypt in 1945, looks like something else.
