But what happened in those years marking a higher temperature over a year?
1998: One year after the mysterious death of Princess Diana and one year before the mysterious death of JFK Jr.

2010: One year before the 3.11 East-Japan Great Tsunami and the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Accident.
And these year roughly matche the years when the New York stock index marked a remarkable jump, respectively.
If this global warming is caused by CO2, it indicates that human desire for wealth has contributed to this temperature rise, since CO2 is an output from material civilization being driven by worldly desire of human beings. So, the above figure sows a reasonable relationship between the N.Y. stock price level and the driving level of global warming.
Put simply, if mankind stops increasing their avarice, the concentration of CO2 in the air will decrease and the global temperature will drop, accordingly.
So it has become clear that it is a choice between only two things. And we can check an on-going state by observing the global temperature and the Dow Jones Average, so simply.
