"Oh! What a Night!"

(The moon is rising; the locomotive dreaming of dashing; and Mars is signaling for their sighing, since my heart is singing...)

"Oh! What a Night!"
("Oh! Quelle nuit! Ce soir!")

1Corinthians 15:41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

(Last night, when I was walking back in coldness, I spotted an airplane high in the winter sky just being identified with its navigation lights flickering.

It was cutting down westerly through the constellation Orion, targeting at the middle star of the Orion's Belt, but just missing it to fly away eastward.

Indeed, it was a Friday night with the three stars high and cool, vertically aligned in a quadrangular formation of the constellation.

Truly, it was one of pre-Christmas-Eve nights further tightening.)

Xmas Gifts for You Only

Xmas Gifts for You Only
(Cadeaux de Noël pour vous seulement)

CASE 1: HIV Suffering Lawmaker

According to his own introduction in his Homepage, "diagnosed as hemophilia in six months after the birth, Ryuhei Kawada was infected with HIV through imported blood products prescribed for the patients for medical treatment."

But, he was elected this summer to an Upper House member of Japan's national assembly. He was also chosen as one of "Young Global Leaders" by World Economic Forum this year.

Yet, some critics doubted his behaviors when they did not find Mr. Kawada in a group of people supporting victims who had been infected with hepatitis C from tainted blood products as a result of negligence of the Government and pharmaceutical companies.

Nonetheless, as the lawsuits these patients filed against the Government and pharmaceutical companies took center stage of the media, the only HIV suffering lawmaker in Japan, Mr. Kawada, began to join supporting activities for those 200,000 or more victims.

In the last midnight TV news program, he was interviewed to explain difference between his own HIV case and this hepatitis C case, though the both were caused by blood derivatives imported from the U.S.

You may be also chosen as one of "Young Global Leaders" by World Economic Forum so as to help many victims in the world, if the God so wishes.

CASE 2: Nobel Prize Promised Researcher

A new stem cell method developed by a Japanese research team (and at the same time independently by a US research team) was praised even by US President Mr. George Bush.

Accordingly, the New York Times again focused on the Japanese researcher:

However, the New York Times is still insincere in dealing with Japan and Japanese, since they wrote:
".... when he made the social call to the clinic about eight years ago. At the friend’s invitation, he looked down the microscope at one of the human embryos stored at the clinic. The glimpse changed his scientific career....
But it is also being hailed in his native Japan for an additional reason: as a sign that the country may finally be coming of age as a center of scientific research. In recent decades, Japan has been trying to reverse its decades-old image as strong in making gadgets but weak in basic science..."

It was when Newton saw an apple falling down on the ground and when Einstein was watching the Lorentz transformation equation that both the geniuses found a clue to their great discovery.

Without endowments or one's natural gifts in addition to hard working and experiences as well as traditions of the society where one has been raised, a simple glancing at an apple, an equation, or a microscope would not result in a great discovery or an innovative result.

As for Japan's tradition in basic science, the New York Times should refer to the EEE Report on September 29, 2007:
"I will present the ten Japanese scientific heroes enumerated in the above mentioned book [on 100 scientists who ever changed the world] as follows:

1. Shibasaburo Kitasato
(29 January 1853-13 June 1931) was a Japanese physician and bacteriologist. He is remembered as the co-discoverer of the infectious agent of bubonic plague in Hong Kong in 1894, almost simultaneously with Alexandre Yersin.

2. Jokichi Takamine
In 1894 Takamine emigrated to the United States. He established his own research laboratory in New York City, but licensed the commercial production of Takadiastase. In 1901 he isolated and purified the hormone adrenaline (the first effective broncodilator for asthma) from animal glands, becoming the first to accomplish this for a glandular hormone.

1856 -1952
Founder of modern Japanese science, particularly in the areas of physics, geophysics, and aeronautics. Proponent of Japanese-style roman lettering.

4. Hantaro NAGAOKA
1865 -1950
A physicist known particularly as proponent of an atomic model with a central nucleus. The father of Japanese theoretical and experimental physics.

5. Kotaro Honda
(born on February 23, 1870 in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture - February 12, 1954) was a Japanese scientist and inventor. He invented KS steel (initials from Kichiei Sumitomo), which is a type of magnetic resistant steel that is three times more resistant than tungsten steel. He later improved upon the steel, creating NKS steel.

6. Kiyoshi Shiga
(7 February 1871–25 January 1951) was a Japanese physician and bacteriologist.
He became famous for the discovery of shigella, the bacillus causing dysentery in 1897. The bacterium shigella was therefore named after him, as well as the shiga toxin, which is produced by the bacteria.

7. Umetaro Suzuki
(April 7, 1874 – September 20, 1943) was a Japanese scientist, born in Shizuoka Prefecture.
When researching the effects of rice bran in curing patients of beriberi, he discovered an active fraction in 1910 and received patent rights to aberic acid, which in 1935 after the correct composition became known as thiamin. His research was among the earliest of modern vitamin research.

8. Yoshio Nishina
(December 6, 1890–January 10, 1951) was a Japanese physicist. He was a friend of Niels Bohr, and a close associate of Albert Einstein. Nishina was a world-class scientist with excellent leadership qualities. He co-authored the well-known Klein-Nishina Formula, and the Nishina crater on the moon is named in his honor.
His research was concerned with cosmic rays and particle accelerator development.

9. Shinichiro Tomonaga
(March 31, 1906 – July 8, 1979) was a Japanese physicist, influential in the development of quantum electrodynamics, work for which he was jointly awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1965 along with Richard Feynman and Julian Schwinger.

10. Hideki Yukawa
(January 23, 1907 – September 8, 1981) was a Japanese theoretical physicist and the first Japanese to win the Nobel prize. "

In any way, there is still a chance that you can win the "Nobel Prize," since Mr. Al Gore got it, though, ahead of Mr. Michael Moore.

CASE 3: 100 Happy Ladies in the World

On August 30, 2007, Forbes announced its own chosen "100 Most Powerful Women" in the world:
#1: Angela Merkel (Germany)
#2: Wu Yi (China)
#3: Ho Ching (Singapore)
#4: Condoleezza Rice (U.S.)
#5: Indra K. Nooyi (U.S.)
#6: Sonia Gandhi (India)
#7: Cynthia Carroll (U.K.)
#8: Patricia A. Woertz (U.S.)
#9: Irene Rosenfeld (U.S.)
#10: Patricia Russo (U.S.)
#11: Michèle Alliot-Marie (France)
#12: Christine Lagarde (France)

Simply, you can be one of "100 Most Powerful Persons," though they have not fully comprehended the linkage between Princess Diana and the 9/11 Terror as well as Mother Teresa.
* * *

Now, for you alone, I have extended the above three cases as a Xmas present with approval from God Almighty.

(My dream is of course laughing with lawmakers, Nobel Prize winners, and 10,000 most powerful women in the world together with CO2 and water vapor, as you know...

Anyway, I've got to also check today's report on hepatitis C patients, mostly ladies, on a live TV news show now starting with one of patients present.)

2007 Xmas Gifts for You All

(Pictures presented here were taken and presented with approval of the Railway Museum)

2007 Xmas Gifts for You All
(2007 Cadeaux de Noël pour vous tous)

BOX 1: "EEE Diamond Ring"

I once wrote that diamond is useless as a stone material for making an LED lamp.
But, there are some reports on such a trial in Japan, for example, in Diamond Research Center, AIST.

According to a report in December 2006, Japan's National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology invented a diamond LED that emits a deep ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 235 nano-meters which however cannot be observed with a human eye.
( )

Also, there is an English article issued in 2004 on Japan's efforts to effectively produce artificial diamond for the use as a semiconductor device.

My invention to be applied to patent is "EEE Ring," namely a ring equipped with an LED the surface on which is covered by small artificial diamond particles. As for a battery, there is development of a very small one, for example, with the size of 0.260” long x 0.090” diameter:
( )

This is a "Lucky Diamond" talk of today.

BOX 2: "EEE Christmas Prize"

As a global event, we have to hold the Christmas Prize Competition on the Xmas day every year in Jerusalem.

The Competition can be divided into some fields as below listed:
(1) The Best Movie Show Presenting or Depicting Jesus Christ

(2) The Best Performer Imitative of or Modeling after Jesus Christ of Today

(3) The Kindest Person of the Year

(4) The Most Righteous Person of the Year

(5) The Great Helper for the Poor of the Year

(6) The Best Interpreter of the Bible

Any persons or organizations that have earned money by using words "Jesus Christ" and "Christianity" should pay royalty for using these terms to the EEE Christmas Prize Committee to be launched, if God so wishes.

This is a "Merry Xmas" talk of today.

BOX 3: "Virtual Nation EEE"

I have an idea to establish a virtual nation based on the Internet.

Every person on the earth can register his/her citizenship to this Nation.

It will have the president, the prime minister, the cabinet, the congress, the administration, and any other functions to be qualified as a nation except the land and other physical territory.

And then I will try Jesus' Economy therein: "Rich citizens pay taxes and poor citizens receive welfare money."

The largest concern, however, is as to how to establish and maintain the self-defense force over the Internet.

Another concern is as to how to protect personal information of our citizens from the physical-world countries, such as the U.S. and China.

However, I am optimistic; if there are 100 genius-class software and hardware designers and engineers joining this scheme, it will be possible in a few years.

This is an "All Mankind Dream" talk of today.
* * *

If you are given a Xmas gift which is visible, such a gift has nothing to do with the Kingdom of God, since the Holy Kingdom is not perceived with an eye.

Now, assume that on your desk or table you have three Boxes above stated.

Can't you conceive of it?
Millions of citizens of the invisible (EEE) country where no fear for any tragedy caused by poverty exists are shining with glowing diamond (EEE) rings in the dazzlingly honorable (EEE) award ceremony in Jerusalem on Christmas!

(One of my dreams is an invention of cure-all medicine or a panacea.

The answer is of course Jesus' hand.

Among the world's six billion population, isn't there anybody who has a Jesus' hand that can cure all?

That is what I want from Jesus Christ as a Xmas present for me. After I test it, you may of course try it, since Xmas is near.)

"I Watched TV Today; Oh, Boy!"

(Pictures presented here were taken and presented with approval of the Railway Museum)

"I Watched TV Today; Oh, Boy!"
("J'ai regardé la télévision aujourd'hui. Oh, Garçon!")

1. Las Vegas Harmed Sumo Tradition

Sumo wresting is still regarded as a very special, if not so holy, kind of sport and entertainment that preserves Japanese traditional virtue still live among people.

But, a young sumo wrestler was, several months ago, killed by a lord and senior wrestlers in the stable he belonged to, since his behavior had invoked anger among them.

(This incident has raised a strong concern about death investigation and a need to strengthen the police in terms of this function and capacity.)

A sumo grand champion, who is one of foreign sumo wrestlers in Japan today, has been accused of his behavior neglecting grand champion's duty of setting an example.

Even a few years ago, brothers, who both had been grand champions, fought over succession of property in the stable where their late father had been the lord.

Once, over the sumo wrestlers' community, the virtue of Japanese tradition presided; but now the principle of market mechanism seems to be eroding their value system.

I suppose their tour to, and sumo practices in, Las Vegas conducted in 2005 had a specific influence on the sumo wrestlers' community, not only on young wrestlers but also on grand champions and their lords.
"... Yoshida told the wrestlers to put on a show.
"I told them, 'I want you to entertain the people.' I want speed," he said. "In Japan, they would keep everything inside. I told them, 'If you lose, I want to see it on your face.'...."

Now, the sumo community in Japan needs a new guiding principle to revive whatever virtue they inherited from history of people.

2. The Movie "Samurai"

In 1965, movie director Kihachi Okamoto made a film featuring actor Toshiro Mifune as a samurai who assassinated the chief minister of the Tokugawa samurai regime presided over by the Tokugawa Tycoon (Barbarian Subduing Generalissimo or "Sei-i Tai-Shougun"), namely the head of all the samurai class.

( )

This story is based on a historic assassination of samurai chief minister Naosuke Ii in 1860, which led to loss of dignity and prestige of the Tokugawa regime.

Accordingly, anti-mainstream samurais from local regions won a civil war to demolish the Tokugawa samurai regime, thus realizing the Meiji Restoration and full Westernization.

But, as they destroyed the system and order of the samurai class by driving out their head or Generalissimo, they needed someone to serve, if nominally.

So, they invited the Emperor from Kyoto to Tokyo, restoring and adopting the older order of the Emperor system, putting an end to tradition of samurai regimes that had continued for 700 years.

3. Sub-prime Loan Crisis

Before I enjoyed the movie "Samurai" on an NHK satellite TV channel last night, I surely checked Ms. Hiroko Kuniya's non-nonsense reporting program.

The agenda of the night was influences of US sub-prime loan problems on Japan.

Put simply, Japanese businesses are now finding a way to decrease dependency on the US market.

If two million US citizens cannot pay, say, a 200,000 dollar loan each, the total default amount will be 400 billion dollars.

If these 400 billion dollars were divided, put into securitization, and sold to various financial institutes, they could not recover the money they used to purchase these securities backed by sub-prime loan lenders and borrowers eventually.

Of course, the key factor in this problem is a decrease in the estimated value of American houses and credit based on the estimated value, namely American dream.

Now US citizens have to find another guiding principle to revive the "American dream" which must be rooted in their faith in God.
* * *

If people have been well dealing with economy of one nation, they still need a new principle or philosophy to deal with global economy.

If people have been well dealing with climate of one nation, they still need a new principle or philosophy to deal with global warming.

That is why I am telling you not to solely rely on the CO2 theory without due reflection.

First of all, you need a new principle or philosophy to deal with global warming.

That is why I am telling you that CO2 emitted without heat may not be a critical threat (due to its meager share in the air), but man-made heat generators, such as power generation facilities, factory engines, cars, and electric devices, are really causing disturbance to global climate, since its accumulated and uninterrupted heat-generation is overcoming the cooling system in the nature and the atmosphere that works via water vapor, even if effects of sunspots are not overwhelmingly critical.

(In whatever profession, you need a guiding principle to be successful, materially or spiritually.

Especially, in the medical community and the criminal investigation or law enforcement field, they need a very stern guiding principle, since they have to deal with human life.

But, what guiding principle do you think you need?

So, I can say, "Objection to this party, since God is not here," even if you are involved.)

"Objection to This Ceremony!"

(Pictures presented here were taken and presented with approval of the Railway Museum)

"Objection to This Ceremony!"
(Cette objection à la cérémonie!)

Somebody dashed into a certain ceremony, shouting, "Objection to this ceremony! God is not here!"

Before you start to laugh, you have to check the following chart.

Indeed, CO2 is included in the air with a share of 0.0038 percent.
But, water vapor is included ~0.25% over full atmosphere, typically 1% to 4% near surface.
( )

It suggests that how much water vapor can keep heat in the air is more crucial than how much CO2 can.

You have to also check the following chart.

Indeed, a yearly temperature in recent years shows a larger difference from an average value calculated from past record on temperature.

You have to also check the following chart.

Indeed, an amount of CO2 in the air is increasing every year, but it is rather incremental and not multiplied or exponential.

You have to also check the following chart.
( )

Indeed, mankind is generating more power every year with heat dissipated around (Heat = IV), being almost doubled in these 20 years.

You have to also check the following chart.
Indeed, mankind is using more cars every year with heat from engines, motors, and batteries dissipated around, being almost doubled in these 20 years.

CO2 occupies only a very small portion in the air, while water vapor occupies a hundreds-times-more larger portion in the air with, probably, a proportional capacity to absorb and carry heat.

CO2 increases only 1.1 times in past 20 years while the use of cars and electricity has increased almost 2 times in past 20 years.

In addition, without use of heat sources, namely cars and electricity, on the earth, if only CO2 gas is emitted from a certain static source without accompanying heat, will it really cause global warming at a magnitude now being discussed worldwide?

The truth is that CO2 is emitted from car engines and batteries as well as power generation facilities in power stations or ordinary factories using fossil fuels.

Some people deliberately decided to use the term "CO2" instead of "cars," "electricity," or "factories."

But why?

It is for some people concerned to keep and increase their profits from investment in the car industry and electric industry as well as other industries using energy sources that dissipate heat to the air eventually mainly via water vapor following the energy conservation law.
* * *

The above is still a hypothesis.

But, the CO2-based War on Global Warming can be misled by wrong information, wrong interpretation, or wrong handling of data related to the nature and human activities, maybe, just like WWII, the JFK Assassination, the 9/11 Terror, and the War on Iraq.

Indeed, some scientists have argued that water vapor (gas) accounts for 97% of contribution to increase in temperature in the atmosphere while CO2 and other types of gas account for 3%.

Truly, there is a well-know study that proves the decisive contribution of heat from the sun, represented by sunspots, to an increase in temperature in the atmosphere.

(Of course, you can go to Norway or Indonesia for your holidays.
You can enjoy skiing, skating, swimming, or scuba diving.
But, I have to deliver objection to a ceremony involving CO2 or excluding holy spirits.
It is not from jealousy but from love to mankind and the nature.

Now, you can laugh with me, since CO2 has been laughing together with water vapor.)

When the Night is Blue but Mars is so Red

(Pictures presented here were taken and
presented with approvla of
the Railway Museum in Saitama City, Japan.)

When the Night is Blue but Mars is so Red
(Lorsque la nuit est bleue, mais Mars est tellement Rouge)

SECTION 1: Who Could Interpret the Bible?

Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Rev 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

Rev 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

SECTION 2: Former Prime Minister of Japan and His Wife

Last night a Japanese TV station reported that former Prime Minister of Japan Mr. Shinzo Abe has recovered from medical problems which forced him to resign two months ago, surprising all concerned but avoiding fatal confusion to the nation.

Mr. and Mrs. Abe recently visited his electoral district in Western Japan which has produced many prime ministers, since samurais in the area had constituted major forces that had realized the Meiji Restoration through a civil war 140 years ago.

Mrs. Akie Abe, the wife of the former Prime Minister, shed tears in welcome parties held in the district, saying to a TV reporter that her husband recovered while learning precious lessons though he had caused such confusion to people concerned.

Some of old comrades of Mr. Abe seem to be expecting that the former Prime Minister will be again given full play in ten years or so.

SECTION 3: Mr. Bob Woodward

Yesterday, the BBC radio broadcast over the Internet an interview with a US notable reporter/author Mr. Bob Woodward.

It is very interesting that a British female interviewer did not change her accent at all when speaking to the special old reporter of the Washington Post who spoke always trying to be consistent, however, in a somehow suppressed and agonizing voice.

Mr. Bob Woodward especially mentioned that famous view of President Mr. George Bush: "History, I don't know how it will judge us. We will be all dead in future, any way."

Mr. Bob Woodward is still focusing on the Iraqi War on which he is also writing a new book.

If he is now reading this blog, I have to say, "Bob, it is 1941, 1963, 1997, and 2001 that devils, serpents, and dragons were released from captivity with entailing shadows of millions dead due to machinations, conspiracies, and arrogance of all concerned."

SECTION 4: Formal Trainees/Workers from China to Japan

In these decades, the Japanese Government has invited a lot of young Chinese as on-the-job-trainees who are put into job training programs in various factories and agriculture fields in Japan.

But, the truth is that those Chinese youths are regarded as cheap foreign labor force in mostly small businesses in Japan, as being discussed now in the deliberation of the Japanese Parliament.

When a small business cannot compete in market any more and goes bankrupt even if relying on cheap salary for Chinese youths, Chinese youths working in the company are requested to go back home to China.

Some Chinese workers might well learn Japanese while they are working in Japan. But others might simply feel difficult to master complete Japanese expressions.

When they go back home to China and work in a factory producing a product, I suppose they will feel like naming their goods with some Japanese expressions.

No matter how incomplete and strange the Japanese expressions attached to their Chinese products are, such expressions seem to enhance credibility and confidence of the products among Chinese consumers, since Japanese products are enjoying higher reputation all over China due to their excellent quality, functionality, and design.

Hence, if you visit China, you may find many Chinese goods sold with strange Japanese expressions attached and applied to its case, wrapping, or package.

Therefore, when I see strange Japanese words on a package of a Chinese product, I cannot help but remember those Chinese interns or trainees/workers working hard in Japan under difficult conditions.

Nonetheless, their Japanese might be better than some French expressions I apply to this EEE Reporter blog.
* * *

Of course, there are some intelligent or highly-educated Japanese citizens who do not like me to write a blog in English, as they are not good at English, since they have not needed English ability in learning economy, engineering, or any kinds of science and arts in higher educational institutes in Japan where Japanese teachers and professors teach everything in Japanese including works of Einstein, Keynes, and Shakespeare, unlike other Asian or African countries once fully or halfway colonized by the U.K., France, or the U.S.

But, I do not think all the French, British, or Americans are devils, serpents, or dragons while Japanese and Chinese are weak and illiterate people, when referring to history.

Yet, I hope that Mr. Bob Woodward will contribute to prevention of a possible nuclear war between the U.S. and Iran, even if a US intelligent report on Iran was wrong.

(In these nights, red Mars looks very clear in the chilly air, here in winter.

I wonder if December 25 is a night especially Mars looks red and bright in Israel.

Will they operate overnight trains on the Hejaz Railroad someday in the Xmas night to Jerusalem? )

Jesus Took Bread; Jesus Took the Cup

Jesus Took Bread; Jesus Took the Cup
(Jésus prit du pain; Jésus a pris la tasse.)

Mat 26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
Mat 26:27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Mat 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

* * *

If you don't know a whole situation, sometimes words expressed in a certain context might sound weird or crazy.

You cannot eat bread while believing it is made of a human body.

You cannot take wine while believing it is made of human blood.

So, hundreds or more of interpretations or readings have been tried, proposed, tested, or concocted while failing in pursue of truth but somehow succeeding in forcing people to pay respect to a church and a man of title, namely a religious performer on salary or pay, which Jesus Christ was not.
* * *

If you bring bread to Jesus Christ and He said to you that He would buy it with His body, you cannot be more deeply moved than by these words of His.

If you bring a cup wine to Jesus Christ and He said to you that He would buy it with His blood, you cannot be more deeply moved than by these words of His.

It is because you who must be poor should work hard, sacrificing the safety of your body and even bleeding due to an accident or an injury at a work place so demanding or dangerous, in order to earn money to buy bread and wine you are going to offer to Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

You would realize that Jesus Christ knows how hard it was for you to earn money to buy bread and wine, when you hear those words of Jesus Christ.

So, you must understand that Jesus Christ would sell His body and blood to earn money for buying bread and wine from you, just like you worked hard suffering pain and anguish on your body which sometimes bled.

That is also why He said to His disciples that the bread and the bottle of wine cost Him His body and blood (worth more than 9,999 trillion dollars if allowed to express so though with such a small number) to conquer or compensate all the sins associated with the society which has forced a single believer to buy them for Him with money earned so painfully.
* * *

Now, the noon is near on this Sunday morning in Japan.

I don't mind if you are in any Christian church now.

I only mind if you give money free to poor people when you get out of the church after the so-called mass.

It is because Jesus Christ has not requested any of us to pay with our body and blood instead of our money.
