"all men come to him" - God is More Important than Any Individuals

God is More Important than Any Individuals

One of key teachings of Christ Jesus is denial of old human relationships in society.

He ordered people to leave their family, their occupation, their social status and follow Him.  However, it does not necessary mean to leave the society or the nation one lives in.  It means to stop belonging to any authority that is not holy.

But men get happiness in their homes, earn money through their occupation, and identify themselves with status they have in their countries.  So, to follow the teaching of Christ Jesus, men have to abandon happiness, wealth, and social status they are enjoying in this world.

In other word, under worldly authority, men can work with pride or a sense of significance, earn money to buy goods and services they want, and enjoy their status.  The order of the world assures them of living rich lives if they accept the worldly authority and win competition.

However, according to Christ Jesus, this authority is false.  This worldly authority is not from God.  Anything obtained by following the worldly order must be therefore abandoned.

The main criterion for man's judgement in his living is how much he can get profit.  But Christ Jesus taught that the criterion must be how much man's judgment satisfy God.

Put simply, God is more important than any individuals.  Men are allowed to live only to serve God.  Or, to have mankind serve God, God created this universe and gave higher spirit to mankind.

In this context, a man's life is for God.  Though a man was born to live and die, there is nothing meaningful in his life for himself or others, because it is God who can give meaning to a man's life.  A life of a man has essentially no meaning for himself or other people.  It has only true and real meaning for God.  (That is why literary works that depict this meaninglessness are highly praised.)

But If a man took it wrong, he might fall into nihilism.  Or he will be lost even by himself if he cannot believe and love God.

True humanitarianism has to be rooted in the teaching of Christ Jesus.  As God created every man, men have to respect one another.  A man must not kill another man God created.

Essentially, as long as men do not admit that they belong to God and they should obey God, no problems in this world will be solved.  Because, if a man does not believe in God, he is the last authority for himself ultimately. So, whatever he desires he would try to achieve by sacrificing others.  In this Godless world, there cannot be true peace.

Christians have to live for God, and Muslims have to live for Allah.  Then, peace will be realized in the world.

Any human efforts toward the global peace is useless if they are not corroborated by their faith in God.

Joh 3:25 Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.
Joh 3:26 And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.
Joh 3:27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

"if a house be divided against itself" - Confucius Not for Wealth

Confucius Not for Wealth

One day a disciple of Confucius asked his master: "Some good people lived and died poor while other bad people lived and died rich.  How would you explain it, sir?"

Confucius answered: "If I think I have to succeed in this world, I would be the meanest servant of a minister or a king.  As I think this way of my life is right, I don't mind this inconvenience in living.  There is clear distinction among people for their ways of living."

Even in ancient China, to gain a successful career, one had to serve seniors, bosses, high-ranking officers, noblemen, or a king who could be mean as much as he could be.  Therefore Confucius tried to correct the minds of those who governed states and controlled the society.  Confucius thought that once decent leaders or kings had governed China, but as time went by, people lost righteousness.  Confucius tried to revive moral governance by teaching the true way of human beings.

While Confucius was living, those who made a fortune or got promoted in a government of each state of China at the time did not possess righteous minds and decent hearts with due respect to ancestors and traditions.  So, Confucius did not want to make a fortune or be a servant of a royal court, since it meant to abandon the right way for human beings.

To have a righteous mind and then receive what a righteous man can receive is his way of life.  Confucius saw that only rotten and evil guys making big money and being promoted in royal courts in ancient China.  And what he wanted to do is to make people abandon evil ways.

So, for Confucius, wealth and social status were secondary matter.  He wanted to correct minds of the elite as well as ordinary people.

If Confucius wanted to be wealthy or successful in royal courts, his words must not have been respected by people.

However, Confucius must have thought that a righteous man like him should govern a state and control wealth of a nation.

"neither cometh to the light" - Ability to Sense God

Around Tokyo

Ability to Sense God

Above the all-out clouds, there is always the sun in daytime as everybody knows.  But only a few believe that above the human world there is always God night and day.

In any country or community, men work to earn money that buys them commodities and luxuries.  And money is provided though social systems.  Men are obliged to accept the systems.  But the systems are not built on faith in God.  They are built just to control and regulate people.  In addition, there is competition among people, producing human conflicts.  So, the minds and hearts of most men are occupied by matters related to the systems and human conflicts.  They come to forget that there is God above the human world.

Some people become very successful in handling the systems and human conflicts, so that they become rich and super rich or they enjoy high and higher status in society.  But they may completely lose a sense to feel God above the human world.

If you think that there is nothing above the human world, you will lose the absolute code of conduct and the absolute criteria for judgment of good and bad.  So, such successful men are usually Satanic at the cores of their minds and hearts.  It is because to be rich and successful you have to deceive and abuse others without love and compassion to them.  They simply justify their evil acts by their belief that there is nothing above the human world, so that there is no need to be good or righteous.  Their notion that God does not exit above the human world is a major factor of their success and their evilness.

But the worst are those who become rich and successful while being engaged in religious business.  They sell words of God they don't believe or they can't understand.  I suppose 90% of Christian priests or clergymen belong to this category.

And unbelievably worse, there are some priests or clergymen who believe existence of God but love evil more than good.  I suppose 9% of Christian priests or clergymen belong to this category.

However, there must be millions of people in the world who have still ability to feel God above the human world like the sun above all-out clouds.
