"John had said unto Herod" - (Remember Fukushima)

Japan's National Diet (Parliament)

Tokyo Bay

Imperial Palace Plaza

Remember Fukushima (N'oubliez pas de Fukushima)

In the International Space Station flying on the orbit around the earth, an astronaut receives 0.5 to 1 milli sieverts of radiation per day, which is 150 times more than he receives on the ground.

However, the radiation does not come in burst. It is spread in 24 hours almost evenly. But, if you receive 1 milli sieverts in a second of the day, your body would be hurt to some degree.

That is why shocking news had better be informed people of slowly. Or great news can have a special effect as it can be understood in a moment.

Accordingly, during a few years of His preaching, the news that Christ Jesus is the Son of the God or even the God Himself was understood by His followers. It is just a moment if 2000 years is a day.

SECTION I: Harassed Engineers

There are some engineers in Japan who have given warning to utility companies about problems of nuclear power plants.

They pointed to defects of designs of nuclear reactors imported from the U.S. They claimed that more measures should have been taken against a possibility of a big earthquake. They complained about a way governmental agencies informed the public of states of nuclear power plants at time when accidents occurred.

But they were all demoted, purged, alienated, and pushed out of the nuclear power community of Japan. One researcher has not been admitted to the state of professor in a university for more than 30 years, working as a mere assistant technical staff member in nuclear facilities of the university. It is just like some labor union members are harassed by corporate management, being branded with a title of an enemy of a company.

Yet after the 3/11 Disaster and the subsequent Fukushima Daiichi accidents, some have been spotlighted by the Media.

However, they look like still being regarded as enemies of the Japanese nuclear community consisting of conservative politicians, elite bureaucrats, industrial leaders, academic bosses, and so on.

The possibility that an M9.0 earthquake occurred and 15-meter high tsunamis attacked a nuclear plant must have been 1/1000. But, if it occurred, it would claim more than $100 billion damage. Rationally, an electricity company should have spent $0.1 billion per year for safety and security of its nuclear power plant, which however they did not.

They must have thought, "We are not such a fool that would spend $100 million per year for an accident estimated to happen at a possibility of 1/1000 or once in 1000 years. Our equity holders support us."

They should have announced, "We offer safety and security as much as possible to our clients even by addressing an accident estimated to happen at a possibility of 1/1000 with costs of $100 million per year. Our equity holders are being persuaded to accept our policy."

For a nuclear power plant, it must become commonsense to take necessary measures against an accident estimated to happen at a possibility of 1/1000 or once in 1000 years.

SECTION II: Fukushima Daiichi Radiation Effect

The hot spot map for the period between April 21 and June 10 shows that rain let radioactive particles in the air fall on the ground in distant zones from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant before they were floating further and spreading high in the sky. They reached somewhat close to Tokyo.

SECTION III: Chernobyl Radiation Effect

The big difference between Fukushima Daiichi of Japan and Chernobyl of the Soviet Union is the number of deaths from nuclear radiation.

Fukushima Daiichi....0

Chernobyl............4000 to 9000

The big public concern in Japan nowadays is when and how Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan will step down.

It is so, since his approval rating has come down to 22% even according to a survey by the pro-Kan liberal Asahi Shimbun newspaper. Maybe, one-time liberal hero Mr. Kan is what the liberal Japanese Media created for purpose all through the ages from the Vietnam War era to the War on Terror era.

My big concern on the world is, of course, how Libya and Syria would follow Egypt. They are harming reputation of Islamic nations. They fail in showing great power of Islam to the world. Or, only for these examples in Libya and Syria, New Islam must emerge.

Yet, the fate of President Mr. Barack Obama in 2012 might have wider influences on Japan and Islamic nations.

" to be healed of their diseases" - (Assets and Debts)

Tokyo Bay, Japan

Assets and Debts (les dettes et les actifs)

The fear of becoming poor is strong in anybody.

If you become poor, you will be most probably forced to get subject to others to obtain foods and other necessities for life. Even to get foods and other necessities for life, you might be virtually forced to work as a servant or a de facto slave. You will lose freedom. You will lose means to protect whatever you have from others.

But, in the long run, the society would get mature, so that everybody can gain some enough money through joining economic activities of the society. Yet, as no society in any nation is perfect, still the fear of becoming poor is strong in anybody in the world.

Then we have to remember the teaching of Christ Jesus: "You cannot serve both the God and money."

When we start to serve the God, the fear of becoming poor should disappear. And, Christ Jesus said that the God would feed you like He feeds birds in the sky. And, birds in the sky have no fear of becoming poor.

SECTION I: What Debts over GDP

Japan is the largest creditor nation in the world, meaning larger than the U.S., China, the U.K., etc. However, this situation can be only taken into account by adopting "net" figures but not "gross" figures.

Since 1990's, the Western media predicted that Japan would soon go bankrupt, while they did not predict any financial crisis in the U.S., the U.K., Iceland, Ireland, Greece, and so on.

The Western media is still predicting that Japan would soon go bankrupt, while China is facing the burst of the real estate bubble, rapid inflation, and 100,000 riots per year.

So, do not trust the Western media especially in terms of economy and Japan.

SECTION II: US Federal Debts Total

According to USA Today, the total debts of the US federal sector are estimated as follows:
1) Public Medical Insurance for the Elderly: $24.8 trillion
2) Pensions: $21.4 trillion
3) Federal Government Debts: $9.4 trillion
4) Veteran Retirement Allowance: $3.6 trillion
5) Federal Official Retirement Allowance: $2 trillion
6) Others: $0.4 trillion
----------------------------
Total: $61.6 trillion

This might be another reason why Wall-Street-associated American economists always predict that Japan will soon go bankrupt before the U.S., the U.K., Iceland, Ireland, Greece, and so on.

The table in Section I is mostly based on "Federal Government Debts: $9.4 trillion" while American GDP is just $14.3 trillion.

SECTION III: Global Assets vs. Global Debts

As of 2010, the following figures were obtained:

Global Personal Financial Assets: $122 trillion

Global Governmental Debts: $40 trillion

Though the total global financial assets are several times larger than the sum of GDPs of all the countries, the world can be still financially saved if all the rich men have abandoned one third of their personal assets.

What can change their minds is religion or anything?

In a certain area in Chiba Prefecture adjacent to Tokyo Prefecture, a radiation dose larger than 0.5 micro sieverts per hour was measured in April and May. A campus of the University of Tokyo is included in the area. Officially, radiation in Tokyo is announced as around 0.05 micro sieverts per hour. So, it is a little alarming, since the area is just 20 to 40 km northeast from the Tokyo Station. A place receiving more than 0.5 micro sieverts (per hour) of radiation is called a hot spot in the map below as so colored darker.

Some scientists say that radiation hot spots can be found in areas fairly far from Fukushima Daiichi. It is rain that brings radioactive material into such places. With a dose of 0.5 micro sieverts per hour, one can receive 12 micro per day and 4.38 milli sieverts per year, which is not so desirable, though a Japanese law sets the criteria for an ordinary person at 1 milli sievert per year.

However, no hot spots have been found within Tokyo Prefecture since a filtration plant in Katsushika Ward showed 0.5 micro sieverts in early May.

"his disciples went down unto the sea" - (Financial Crisis Misunderstood)

Tokyo near the bay...

Financial Crisis Misunderstood (Crise financière Incompris)

Money (debts) is making the EU members suffer. Money (debts) is inflicting a heavy blow on the American Government.

But, there are so many rich men in the E.U. and the U.S. They will not offer their money for free to their governments to save their nations. Conversely, for them to continue to be rich, their governments have to be indebted.

According to Christ Jesus, behind money is the Devil. That is why rich men in Europe and America are servants of the Devil who is making the EU members suffer and inflicting a heavy blow on the American Government.

SECTION I: Foreign Debts vs. GDP

Most of Americans and American journalists do not know the ratio of American foreign debts over its GDP is far smaller than most of countries, including Greece, and Japan's ratio is far smaller than America's.

They will be further surprised to know that Japan has the largest foreign financial assets in the world, namely more than America and China.

They should be simply surprised to know that China suffers 100,000 social riots per year (that is, clashes between citizens and the police) while Japan has no riots like America.

So, American people and world citizens have to come to wonder why the Western media have advertised in these decades that Japan was going to be over, Japanese economy was worse than any country's, Japan was full of the homeless, Japan's GDP was ever going down, and Japan was going to go bankrupt soon around 2000 or 2005 or 2010.

Evil in the Western world really wants Japan to go down and China to prevail. Evil in the Western world likes to see a million riots per year in the world under Chinese influences. It is so, since evil is so anti-Christ.

There are many anti-Christ bad guys in the Western media so that Greece and others are now struggling with financial disasters.

Anti-Christ bad guys in the Western media really want to see a hard decline of the Western world, praising China so much while China suffers 100,000 social riots per year (that is, clashes between citizens and the police).

And from a point of view on the ratio of foreign debts over GDP, Greece is not so desperate. It can recover from its financial crisis thorough self control of its financial administration and social systems. What is worse can happen in Ireland or the U.K.

SECTION II: Debts in America and Japan

The absolute value of the debts taken over by the U.S. Government is about $14 trillion.

The absolute value of the (long-term) debts taken over by the Japanese Government is about $8.4 trillion.

The ratio is 1.67

On the other hand, the ratio of GDP between the U.S. and Japan is 2.9 ($14.3 trillion/$4.9 trillion).

In this context, the U.S. Government seems to have more room for its financial security.

But, the U.S. has more huge debts in social security services, Medicare, and Medicaid systems. In total, American (federal and public sector) debts reach $75 trillion.

On the other hand, Japan has huge external assets, including US Treasury bonds worth $0.9 trillion. This is not deducted from the calculation of the Japanese government debts.

While rating companies rank the U.S. Government bond higher than the Japanese Government bond (JGB), market players are selling U.S. Treasury bonds while China is buying JGBs, though most of JGBs are owned by Japanese financial institutions.

Therefore, the Western media have failed in this point, too, as with credit-rating firms.

However, I would not say, "America is going to be over, American economy is worse than any country's, America is full of the homeless, America's GDP is ever going down, and America is going to go bankrupt soon around 2015 or 2020 or 2025."

*** *** *** ***

People read 1000 books on money to solve big problems in vain.

Them. they will read other 1000 books on money to solve big problems in vain.

Finally, they will leave every book but buy and sell money only to earn any bit little of margins for their own profits.

All they have to do is, of course, read one book, the Bible. Then, they will solve every problem. And, there will be no such things as personal profits.

Yet, ordinary people are afraid of living without money if so blessed by the God. Nonetheless, the God might give resources of life in a form of money. In the case, money is no more money but something holy. But, has anybody seen money that is not under control of the Devil but under control of the God?

It cannot be imagined that Christ Jesus buys anything with money.

Joh 6:16 And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea,

Joh 6:17 And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.

Joh 6:18 And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.

Joh 6:19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.

Joh 6:20 But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.

"if ye forgive not men their trespasses" - (China Warning)

Around Tokyo Station...

China Warning (avertissement de la Chine)

Riots continue in Guangzhou, China.

It reportedly started around 10 p.m. on June 10 when gangsters hired by the police tried to extort money from a vendor on the street. But, as the vendor refused it, they started to beat the vendor and his wife publicly as a warning to other vendors. In response, other vendors started to fight the gangsters and the police...

SECTION I: Chinese Censorship

Some terms and words are blocked in Google Search in China, such as...
tibet, taiwan china, equality, democracy china, dissident china, taiwan, evolution, dissident, STD, freedom china, justice china, counterrevolution china, news china, liberty china, democracy, justice, war, revolution, china blog, etc.

Click the following to enlarge and see more.

With the Internet companies like Yahoo! having the power to access anyone's email and also maintaining a strong relationship with China and their police when it comes to censorship, the Chinese citizens are not safe on line.

http://www.duke.edu/~dgm4/ethics

For example in Japan the financial trouble in the Government balance sheet can be solved by discarding 20% of the poor and increasing tax by 20%. However, as Japan is the democratic country, such a policy cannot be implemented due to strong objections from voters who last year actually denied PM Mr. Naoto Kan and his tax increase scheme in the Upper House election.

But, in China, it can be simply implemented by the dictatorial regime. They can spare costs for democracy, environmental protection, human rights, interest of the weak, chances for minor businesses so as to invest heavily into advantageous businesses in its industry for expanding economy and GDP. So, unlucky 20% of the Chinese people can be simply neglected and a virtual 20% tax is imposed on the weak members in the society. And, to control 200 million poor and unlucky farmers and workers being neglected, the Chinese Government restrict their free access to information via the Internet.

As long as China is good for rich Americans and big American businesses, such as GM, Wal-Mart, and Wall Street companies, as well as for Japanese stakeholders, this state of controlling people would continue in China.

In this context, rich people in the U.S. and Japan are virtually helping the Chinese Communist Party prohibit Chinese citizens from searching something over the Internet using a keyword "democracy" or "justice."

SECTION II: Riots in China

There have been so many reports on riots in China in the various Media sites. However, what's going on in the Chinese society deep in the despotic state is still unknown, while the number of riots is said to be 100,000 per year in China.

Tokyo Electric Power Company estimates damages to pay for evacuees and other victims of the nuclear accident to be around $120 billion (10 trillion yen). As a source for the money, TEPCO plans to raise an electricity rate by 16% from fiscal 2012. It will be an increase in expenses by $12 (1000 yen) per month for a household.

Some Japanese criticize TEPCO, since the utility company is behaving like a perpetrator who is further extorting money from victims to pay damage reparation to the victims.

To defend TEPCO, it is GE that is truly responsible. GE did not change the design of nuclear reactors they sold to TEPCO 40 years ago, though the design must have been modified so as to make them befit the Japanese environment full of earthquakes and a possibility of a big tsunami.

"Simon, (whom he also named Peter,)" - (Language and Religion)

To Tokyo Station...

Language and Religion (Langue et religion)

First names of Europeans and people of European ancestry look limited in their variety.

It is so as they are mostly from the Bible.

But, first names of the Japanese people are almost countless as with their family names. Especially girls have names of a wider range of variety. Yet, it is unthinkable that a Japanese man has Simon as his first name and a Japanese woman Elizabeth.

Yet, a ratio of Japanese men who resemble Judas Iscariot among all the male Japanese might not be so different from the ratio in Israel of today or in the Vatican of today.

And, it is said that Japanese Catholics are given Christian names by church, such as Paul. So, always the Bible is above so-called Christians. Yet, the Bible is for a man and a man is not for the Bible.

In this context, President Mr. Barack Obama has really opened a new era in the U.S. Only with his name, the President might have a significant influence in the American society. But can American Christians accept it for another four years from 2013?

SECTION I: Journey of Language

All the people living in the world today has a mitochondria-genic connection to one woman (Mitochondria Eve) who lived 200,000 years ago in Africa, though 600,000 to 350,000 years ago the modern human beings and Neanderthal men partially split as the latter started to move out of Africa earlier.

Then 150,000 years ago a crisis occurred in Africa reducing the number of the modern human beings. After conquering it, 120,000 years ago some human beings left Africa to the Arabian Peninsula (another wave of an exodus from Africa occurred 60,000 years ago after another crisis on the modern human beings in Africa 74,000 years ago). Subsequently, 70,000 years ago ancestors of Europeans and Asians were split. 40,000 years ago, the modern human beings started to prevail in Europe and Australia. 30,000 years ago, Neanderthal men went extinct leaving some DNA in the modern human beings.

Yet, it is unknown whether or not language was used by Mitochondria Eve or even by Neanderthal men.

NUMBER OF PHONEMES IN LANGUAGES AROUND THE WORLD
Phonemes are the distinct sounds used in 504 languages from around the world. The number of sounds varies hugely from language to language.
The number of distinct sounds in a language tends to increase the closer it is to sub-Saharan Africa, according to the study.

Scientists have found that every language can be traced back to a long-forgotten dialect spoken by our Stone Age ancestors in Africa. The further away from Africa a language is spoken, the fewer distinct sounds - or phonemes - it has
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1377150/Every-language-evolved-single-prehistoric-mother-tongue-spoken-Africa.html

What I want to emphasize is that the Japanese language is the only major language among those of highly civilized peoples in the world that has 20 or less than 20 phonemes. Accordingly, it is proved that the number of phonemes has nothing to do with a level of culture of a tribe who use a language with any number of phonemes.

Conversely, the Japanese are more distant from Africans than Europeans, Arabs, Hindus, Chinese, and even Koreans. Rather, Japanese are close to native tribes in North and South Americas or Pacific Islanders. It also means that the Japanese Archipelago is fairly separated from the Eurasia Continent in terms of human communications despite its relative geological closeness to the continent unlike Australia and Americas.

And a fact that a despite this large disparity concerning phonemes among world languages every tribe and cultural group are on the same intellectual level means that a language was already used before the modern human beings started to split from Africa 120,000 years ago.

And a fact that the modern human beings, especially Europeans, carry part of DNA of Neanderthal men means that Neanderthal men also used a language.

SECTION II: Palestine 80,000 Years Ago

100,000 years ago the modern human beings appeared in Palestine or the Middle East.

Accordingly, the modern human beings and Neanderthal men coexisted there for next 20,000 years.

Then, the modern human beings left Palestine to leave Neanderthal men only in Palestine.

However, 42,000 year ago, the modern human beings returned to Palestine, while Neanderthal men went extinct 30,000 years ago.

This history means that the modern human beings and Neanderthal men established the first primary religion together. In my theory, this history suggests that a sense of religion emerged while the modern human beings and Neanderthal men lived together in Palestine 100,000 years to 80,000 years ago.

But as time went by, a difference came to appear between religions of the modern human beings and Neanderthal men, so that they separated. But, when the modern human beings came back to Palestine 42,000 year ago, the difference became so dangerous to Neanderthal men. The modern human beings did not respect Neanderthal men any more, driving them to extinction.

Yet, religion of the modern human beings was first established on Palestine in cooperation with Neanderthal men. In this context Palestine was more important and holy than ancient Mesopotamia or Egypt.

Accordingly, Abraham was called to Palestine. Moses came out to Palestine. And, Christ Jesus was born in Palestine.

It is so, since the modern human beings and Neanderthal men established the first primary religion together in Palestine 80,000 years ago.

This is one of my hypotheses about the origin of the human religion and significance of Palestine in the human history that can be traced back for 80,000 years.

For example, religions among Africans are less influenced by Neanderthal factors so that there is a gap in terms of religion between non-Africans and Africans even in these 2000 years.

Another example is that some languages even used today in Europe show a possible influence of Neanderthal factors.

Note that Israel is a place where some valuable bones of Neanderthal men were excavated.

SECTION III: Cuneiform, Phoenician Alphabet, and Paleo-Hebrew

Original Hebrew letters are a derivative of the Phoenician alphabet which took over Cuneiform script invented by Sumerians.

Though the Phoenician alphabet is not linked with Cuneiform script, even Hebrew letters today seem to carry some fundamental similarity to Cuneiform script.
Cuneiform script is one of the earliest known forms of written expression. Emerging in Sumer around the 30th century BC, with predecessors reaching into the late 4th millennium (the Uruk IV period), cuneiform writing began as a system of pictographs....

The archaic cuneiform script was adopted by the Akkadians from ca. 2500 BC, and by 2000 BC had evolved into Old Assyrian cuneiform, with many modifications to Sumerian orthography.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuneiform_script

Cuneiform writing was gradually replaced by the Phoenician alphabet during the Neo-Assyrian Empire, and by the 2nd century AD, the script had become extinct.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuneiform_script

When the Phoenician alphabet was first uncovered in the 19th century, its origins were unknown. Scholars at first believed that the script was a direct variation of Egyptian hieroglyphs.[2] This idea was especially popular due to the recent decipherment of hieroglyphs. However, scholars could not find any link between the two writing systems. Certain scholars[who?] hypothesized ties with Hieratic, Cuneiform, or even an independent creation, perhaps inspired by some other writing system. The theories of independent creation ranged from the idea of a single man conceiving it, to the Hyksos people forming it from corrupt Egyptian.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenician_alphabet

The Paleo-Hebrew alphabet (Hebrew: כתב עברי עתיק‎), is an abjad offshoot of the ancient Semitic alphabet, identical to the Phoenician alphabet. At the very least it dates to the 10th century BCE. It was used as the main vehicle for writing the Hebrew language by the Israelites, both Jews and Samaritans.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paleo-Hebrew_alphabet

The Hebrew alphabet (Hebrew: אָלֶף־בֵּית עִבְרִי‎‎[a], Alephbet 'Ivri), known variously by scholars as the Jewish script, square script, block script, or more historically, the Assyrian script, is used in the writing of the Hebrew language, as well as other Jewish languages, most notably Yiddish, Ladino, and Judeo-Arabic.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hebrew_alphabet

It is impossible that Abraham, the great first believer of the God, was from nowhere among nomads without any past glory. The Sumerian Civilization is very suitable for his root and background as he was a mere guest in Egypt. Everything about Abraham and thus Hebrews must be studied in line with this notion.

"anointed with oil many that were sick" - (Internet Languages)

Internet Languages (Langues Internet)

If Hebrew was the common or original language of mankind, it must have been spoken 200,000 years ago, namely in the era of Mitochondrial Eve.
According to some Jewish traditions, Hebrew was the language of the creation.[36][37] Likewise, Hebrew is considered to be the one language spoken by the united mankind before the dispersion connected with the Tower of Babel.[37][38] According to Jewish esoteric teachings, the Hebrew letters are the lifeforce of all things created, determining their essence.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hebrew_language
If Hebrew is not the common or original language of mankind, it must have some association with Cuneiform script that emerged in Sumer around the 30th century BC. Then, it can be a derivative from the most preceding language to English.

It is a little surprise that the Polish people are so actively engaged in Internet reference and search. Of course, there are many countries where Spanish are used.

And, do Indians use English mainly over the Internet?

SECTION II: New Judaism

It is time for Judaists to come a step closer to the God leaving conventional Judaism.

Young Jews blend old traditions with modern

Jacqueline L. Salmon Washington Post

Gathering in group homes and college dormitories, in rural woods and apartment buildings, a growing number of young Jews are spurning traditional synagogues.
...
Analysts estimate that 20,000 Jews attend the unconventional services each week. While that is a fraction of the estimated 1 million Jews nationwide who regularly attend worship service, researchers say those who attend the services are among the most educated and devout and represent the next generation of Jewish leaders.

If you are a Judaist who does not mind Christians, Muslims, and any other people, you would like to come a step closer to the God.

In theory, it is not likely that Judaists can be praised by the God to be admitted into Heaven only because they follow conventional ways of the religion.

It is so, since Judaism itself has history where the religion changed and developed. If no change was accepted so strongly, why did they need episodes but those of Abraham and Moses?
American Jews

The number of Jews who identify themselves as only culturally Jewish has risen from 20% in 1990 to 37% in 2008, according to the study. In the same period, the number of all US adults who said they had no religion rose from 8% to 15%. Jews are more likely to be secular than Americans in general, the researchers said. About half of all US Jews — including those who consider themselves religiously observant — claim in the survey that they have a secular worldview and see no contradiction between that outlook and their faith, according to the study's authors. Researchers attribute the trends among American Jews to the high rate of intermarriage and "disaffection from Judaism" in the United States.[78]

About one-sixth of American Jews maintain kosher dietary standards.

It is apparent that New Judaism is needed for American Judaists.

Accumulated amounts of radiation in Fukushima City and Koriyama City (both situated 75 km from Fukushima Daiichi) between March 15 and June 10 are as follows:
Fukushima City: 5.65 mili Sieverts
Koriyama City: 4.64 mili Sieverts

The two major cities of Fukushima Prefecture face a little dangerous nuclear situation, since their yearly-received radiation level could be around 20 mili Sieverts. Accordingly, it was decided that swimming pools should not be used in physical education class in schools of Fukushima City. Children can only swim in in-door swimming pools. They are even inhibited from playing in the play ground of elementary schools or kindergartens.

However, the same concerns are now emerging in some cities in Chiba Prefecture neighboring upon the northeast of Tokyo.

Somebody must take responsibility for this delay in fixing the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accidents. Probably that somebody must be Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan whose approval rating has fallen to 25% again according to the latest survey by NHK.

Mar 6:11 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Mar 6:12 And they went out, and preached that men should repent.

Mar 6:13 And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.

A Nation East of the Continent

Tokyo Station

Under Reconstruction

With 23 Platforms

And subway platforms and so on...

A Nation East of the Continent (Une nation est du continent)

Japan is the only major country that is situated in the east of a continent.

It is also so close to the Eurasian continent through the Korean peninsula, Sakhalin Island, and Kurile Islands. Japan is not a country in the ocean but on the ocean.

So, what is unique is in the Japanese view on the world like Americans facing the two great oceans.

SECTION III: World Value Survey

Japan is unique in that it respects secular-rational value more than any other countries according to some survey. Hence, the Japanese look non-religious and non-ideological. Even there is no "Japanese Dream" to be compared to the American Dream.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Value_Survey

SECTION IV: Churches and Shrines and Temples

There are 335,000 religious congregations in the United States, most of which are Christian churches.

http://hirr.hartsem.edu/research/fastfacts/fast_facts.html#numcong

There are 76,000 Buddhist temples and 79,000 shinto shrines in Japan in addition to 7,900 Christian churches and 40,000 other religious bodies and facilities in Japan. In sum, there are 200,000 religious congregations in Japan.

http://www.relnet.co.jp/relnet/brief/r3-1.htm

As the U.S. has 300 million population and Japan has 127 million, Japan is more religion-business-oriented though the Japanese do not look like so religious at all in the global standards.

For reference, Indonesia has about 100,000 mosques and 500,000 mushollas (Islamic prayer rooms) while it has 240 million population.

China has 85,000 religious facilities with 3,000 religious bodies. It has 1,341 million population.

The Japanese Government is going to halt all the 53 nuclear reactors in power plants all over the country within a year. Accordingly, shortage of electricity is now a big social concern in Japan. Especially, this summer poses a challenge to citizens needing cooling equipment.

It is absurd. In the 21st century, why must Japan face electric power shortage?

Something is really wrong. But, this situation of Japan might be a warning to the world.

Every great religion was established when there was no use of electricity in the human society. Maybe, electricity might be the greatest obstacle to religious practice. You had better go to a church or a mosque which has no electricity at all.
