"Father, which seeth in secret" - In the 40th Century BC, the 20th Century BC, the 1st Century, and 2000s

An Early Summer Park around Tokyo

In the 40th Century BC, the 20th Century BC, the 1st Century, and 2000s
As the world is now in the first century of 2000s, it must be useful to review the first century of the first millennium.

AD 1: Lions became extinct in Western Europe.
AD 9 – 23: Wang Mang temporarily overthrew the Han dynasty of China.
AD 14: Augustus Caesar, first emperor of Rome, dies. His adopted son, stepson and son-in-law Tiberius is his successor.
AD 25: The Han dynasty is restored by Liu Xiu who proclaims himself Emperor Guangwu of Han.
AD 28 – 75: Emperor Ming of Han, Buddhism reaches China.
c. AD 29: Jesus begins his ministry (traditional date).
c. AD 33: The Crucifixion of Jesus (traditional date).
c. AD 33 – 36: Conversion of Paul the Apostle.
AD 40 – 43: Revolts erupts in Vietnam by the Trung sisters.
AD 43: Roman conquest of Britain begins. London is founded (although it could have existed centuries before this date).
AD 41 – 54: Buddhist monks in Sri Lanka first write down Buddha's teachings, creating the Pali canon.
The regions of present-day Afghanistan, Pakistan and North India come under the control of the Kushans, a nomadic people forced out of northwest China by the Han Dynasty.
c. AD 50: Christian Council of Jerusalem.
AD 60: Queen Boudica of The Iceni in England launches a rebellion against The Romans. Tens of thousands die and the Roman army is massively damaged. The Rebellion fails and Boadicea commits suicide by poisoning herself. Three major cities are obliterated.
AD 64: Great Fire of Rome, first Roman mass Persecution of Christians, earliest significant recognition of Christians in Rome.
AD 66 – 73: First Jewish-Roman War.
AD 69: Cartimandua, Queen of the Brigantes in Northern England, is overthrown in a civil war. Her unpopular alliance with Rome, the betrayal of Caratacus and her love for someone other than her husband are the three reasons which led to her demise. The Action enraged the Romans so much that they conquered and annexed The Kingdom.
AD 70: destruction of Herod's Temple in Jerusalem by the Romans under Titus.
AD 79: Pompeii and Herculaneum destroyed by eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
AD 80: The Colosseum is finished.
Jewish Council of Jamnia.
Spread of the Roman Empire, reaches largest size under Trajan.

In 2000s, similar events may be expected to happen.  As it was also 2000 years from Abraham's departure of Ur in Mesopotamia to the first appearance of  Christ Jesus, and it had been also 2000 years since the 40th century BC to Abraham.

The 40th century BC:
In Mesopotamia, the Uruk period began; in Europa, the Pit–Comb Ware culture started by those thought to have still mostly followed the Mesolithic hunter-gatherer lifestyle, with traces of early agriculture; in the near East, the Naqada culture started in Egypt; the early Jōmon period with use of clay potteries for cooking began on the islands of Japan; and more than 100 dwellings surrounding a community center, a cemetery and a kiln were built in Jiangzhai, near modern Xi'an, China. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/40th_century_BC)

Now in 2000s:
In America, the 9/11 Terror occurred in New York and Washington D.C.; the financial crisis started from the Wall Street; the first African American President was elected; and the first President from real-estate/entertainment business was elected.

In Europe, the UK decided to leave the EU; the EU accepted many immigrants from the Middle East and Africa; and Russia further pursued militarism.

In China increased its aggressive behaviors to the world while causing trade disputes with the U.S.

In Japan, the great earthquake and a nuclear power plant accident occurred while suffering decade-long deflation.

And presently in 2020, the whole world is in the corona-virus pandemic.  Isaac Newton predicted that the start toward the end of the world might begin after 2060.  The advanced science of the mankind cannot completely conquer this pandemic or prevent occurrence of this kind of pandemics.  So, the mankind will probably cannot evade the fate predicted by Newton in the early 18th century.

Therefore, it is foreseen that, like in the first century, the Christ Jesus will come around 2030, but He will be rejected by the mankind while some people will repent and change their minds to follow Him and accomplish His mission.  Yet, a great war or WWIII will be erupted and great cities in the world will be destroyed as a consequence around 2070.  And, the mankind will realize that the end of the world has started...

In this context, the mankind will know that the end of the world has started around 2060.

And in my estimate, it might take further 2000 years till robots or other living things take over completely the world from the mankind.

Matthew 6 King James Version (KJV)
18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

"his disciples went down unto the sea" - Corona-Pandemic vs. Cancer

Around the Bank of Japan, Tokyo

Corona-Pandemic vs. Cancer

Cancer seems to be more fatal than virus infection that can be avoided by wearing a mask, keeping social distance, and avoiding congestion, although it is still unknown whether the corona-virus pandemic will result in world-wide deaths of more than 10 million.
In 2015, about 90.5 million people had cancer. About 14.1 million new cases occur a year (not including skin cancer other than melanoma).  It caused about 8.8 million deaths (15.7% of deaths).  The most common types of cancer in males are lung cancer, prostate cancer, colorectal cancer and stomach cancer.  In females, the most common types are breast cancer, colorectal cancer, lung cancer and cervical cancer.
About 606,880 Americans are expected to die of cancer in
2019 (Table 1), which translates to about 1,660 deaths per
day. Cancer is the second most common cause of death in
the US, exceeded only by heart disease.
The methods to cure cancer are chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, palliative care, immunotherapy, laser therapy, and alternative medicine.  But, as cancer cells are originally normal human cells but only with wrong or defective genes, it is difficult to kill only cancer cells without harming other normal human cells.

So, for old men with cancer, it is thought to be good to leave and forget the cancer without taking surgery or anti-cancer drags that damage their bodies and normal cells leading to adverse effects that could be sometimes fatal.

From the beginning, it is thought that taking all cancer cells is impossible, since cancer cells move through blood and attach to other organs to multiply.  According to a report in 2016 of the National Cancer Center of Japan, the total survival rate in 5 years after initial diagnosis of all types of Japanese cancer patients is 62.1%.  It means about 40% of patients cannot live more than 5 years while taking surgery and other medications.

However,  American Cancer Society boasts development of cancer management:
The overall age-adjusted cancer death rate rose during most of the 20th century, peaking in 1991 at 215 cancer deaths per 100,000 people, mainly because of the tobacco epidemic. As of 2016, the rate had dropped to 156 per 100,000 (a decline of 27%) because of reductions in smoking, as well as improvements in early detection and treatment. This decline translates into more than 2.6 million fewer cancer deaths from 1991 to 2016, progress that has been driven by steady declines in death rates for the four most common cancer types – lung, colorectal,
breast, and prostate (Figure 1 and Figure 2).

Nonetheless, it is not clear what medications have contributed to prolonged survival of cancer patients.  Their is a possibility that other factors than diagnosis, surgery,  anti-cancer drags, etc., or improvement of other medical environment and medical care or quality of living has contributed to the increase of survival rate of cancer patients.

Cells of old men naturally come to have defective DNA and genes, thus causing cancer.   No matter how long men live, they have to die some day with old cells with defective DNA and cancer, even if cancer symptoms do not occur or cancer medication is successful.  And, data such as those shown above do not seem to include those with cancer but without medical treatment.  Some old men with cancer might live and die without pains caused by taking anti-cancer medical treatment, living longer than other cancer paints who took painful medical care.

Anyway, almost 10 million people die yearly over the world due to cancer.  The corona-virus pandemic will not be able to cause this scale of tragedy in 2020.  However, if corona-viruses are not completely expelled, death by the corona-virus might become as common or resident as cancer or influenza (causing a half million deaths globally per year) in future.  But is it acceptable for the mankind?

Finally, when a new pandemic causing more than 10 million deaths globally yearly occur, we might be facing the end of the world.

John 6 King James Version (KJV)
15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.
16 And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea,
17 And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.
18 And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.
19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.
20 But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.

"your heavenly Father will also forgive you" - Breathing and Oxygen Needed for Men and Mitochondria

Tokyo Bay

Breathing and Oxygen Needed for Men and Mitochondria

The human body, like the bodies of other living things, is made of cells, each in the size of 6 to 25 μm (μm=1/1000mm=1/1000000m; 1m = 3.3 ft.).  Skin, bones, hair, blood, etc. are all made of cells.  It is said that an object of 0.1 mm size is the smallest object the naked eye can see, so that we cannot see an individual cell on our skin.

https://www.quia.com/files/quia/users/donnadeitrich/OrganellePage/organelles1.html

It is also said that 300 billion cells die every day in the human body to be replaced with new ones.

http://mattmaruca.com/mitochondria-your-vital-force-part-1-of-x/

One cell includes, on average, 300 to 400 mitochondria, although more mitochondria in cells more active in metabolism.  (It is also said that the total weight of mitochondria in the human body accounts for 10% of its weight.)  For example, a cell of an onion has 15,000 mitochondria, although animal cells and plant cells are different in their structure.  DNA and genes are in a cell nucleus, guiding cell division and formation of parts of the body and the body itself.

The reason why we need oxygen and breath lies in these mitochondria, since they use oxygen to produce energy that is used by cells and our body.  Although there is another way of producing energy in cells by dissolving sugar, protein materials, and lipids or fat materials without use of oxygen, majority of energy is produced by mitochondria.  Without mitochondria, we cannot live.  Therefore, without oxygen, we cannot live.

More interestingly, it is said that mitochondria were independent bacteria outside cells each having nucleus, but mitochondria invaded cells to be unified two billion years ago on the earth after the earth was formed 4.56 billion years ago.  Then, cells got a great source of energy needed for further evolution.

Conversely, it is thought that the more mitochondria are increased, the more healthy we become.  The human body has natural healing ability, but this ability needs energy and the most of energy is provided by mitochondria.  To increase mitochondria, it is effective to perform caloric restriction and physical exercise, since cells increase mitochondria when they feel lack of energy.

So, the curing miracle by Christ Jesus might use a method of increasing mitochondria.  Or from the beginning, it is a great miracle that a bacteria called a mitochondrion invaded a primitive cell, two billion years ago, to form an energy-efficient cell.

Unfortunately, corona-viruses and other viruses invade human cells to increase themselves and destroy human cells.  In this context, it is reasonable that the end of the world will be realized by new and more malicious viruses invading human cells to destroy them.  The mankind was established by bacterial called mitochondria, and they might naturally be destroyed by viruses.

So, breathing is essential for life of a man as it gives oxygen to mitochondria which, then, produces energy in the body.  In this context, death by hanging or kneeling on the neck is the cruelest act.

Matthew 6 King James Version (KJV)
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
