American statistics show that almost 1500 children are killed by their parents every year in America.

Japanese statistics show that almost 110 children are killed by their parents every year in Japan.

(America is five times madder as it has the 2.3 times more population than Japan.)

American statistics show that there are almost 3300 death-row inmates in America.

Japanese statistics show that there are almost 100 death-row inmates in Japan.

(America is 10 times more dangerous as it has the 2.3 times more population than Japan.)

Yet, "At least 17,118 people were under sentence of death as of December 31, 2009. The true number is higher; this is a minimum figure, which is the safest that can be inferred from Amnesty International's research. Essential information, including official statistics, is unavailable for key countries such as China, Egypt, Iran, Malaysia, Sudan, Thailand and Viet Nam." (http://www.amnestyusa.org/death-penalty/international-death-penalty/death-penalty-statistics-2009/page.do?id=1691051 )

These data symbolize the state of the meridian of the conventional human civilization. But, we can take other approach.

PART 1: Pattern toward Catastrophe

That you live in 2010 is very important, since you have really seen the end of a great age that expands over the past 2000 years plus 2000 years before the Christ.

1) Foods

2) Gold
3) Energy
4) Population
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Industrial_agriculture)

5) GDP

Being living in this era requests you to understand the significance of itself and any sign of the end of the great age that began with Abraham's leaving Mesopotamia.

The steep upward trend you recognize in the above key figures rather indicates the amount of evil doings people have performed among themselves and against the nature and environment.

A similar steep upward trend must be observed as an amount of good deeds and faith in the God by people.

Therefore, the pattern suggests a possible catastrophe of mankind coming near.

PART 2: Sample Study on NYSE

Since 1900, the NYSE has experienced this catastrophic pattern third times.

They are: "Before the Great Depression," "After WWII," and "In the Computer Era."

The possible catastrophic trend is always driven by technological innovation.

Population, energy use, and GDP are all driven upward following the possible catastrophic pattern initiated, fueled, and sustained by technological innovation.

For example:
"Before the Great Depression": Advent of the radios
"After WWII": Advent of TVs
"In the Computer Era": Advent of semiconductor-based computers and PCs

In a wider scope in the population, energy use, and GDP figures,
"Since 1900": Advent of application of electromagnetic

Yet, I will point to the software technology embedded in the "Advent of semiconductor-based computers and PCs."

Now, before going to learn economics or the Wall Street culture, start to study technology related to radios, TVs, and PCs that have allowed for this modern civilization where you live.

Then, you may be prepared for addressing the future-catastrophe challenge.

It is not a matter of somebody else as you just live your life till your death blindly trying to become rich and richer. Regardless of your fate, it is a duty of a man living today, namely 2000 years after the Christ and 4000 years after Abraham, to think about the future-catastrophe challenge.

Great samurai Kobayakawa Takakage (1533–1597) once said, "I appreciate that the way of tea gives a precious moment of peace and tranquility to samurai. They love it as they love high-quality of inner life since not only fight and death but also protection and practice of culture are their business. But, they have started to pursue popular and valuable tea cups. They argue among themselves how cheap they could purchase a tea bowl which was sold later at a twice higher price. Their minds have moved to material that is a mere vessel used to conduct a spiritual ceremony of the way of tea. Accordingly, I have stopped practicing a tea ceremony."

This sort of mentality is of course universal.

But, in China, it was the norm only till 2000 years ago (as observed in Confucius). In India, it was the norm only till 2000 years ago (as observed in the Buddha). In Europe, it was the norm only till 2000 years ago (as observed in Socrates).

So, you must expect only Japanese or Muslims to extend this spirit further, since American Dream is a material dream.

Now, you know the significance of this era (where I also live).

Act 11:27 And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.

Act 11:28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

Act 11:29 Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:

Act 11:30 Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

Not...
Just because...
I don't feel like sitting together with them...

This Busy Friday of 2010's November
(le dernier vendredi avant Décembre)

Mrs. Nobuko Kan, the politically proactive-minded wife of the Japanese Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan, did not know that the wife of Chinese Communist President Mr. Hu Jintao visited Japan in the late APEC Conference held in Yokohama, Japan, in early November.

It is a big surprise. It is a big blunder we have never heard in the long history of the Japanese politics.

Mrs. Kan said in an interview conducted by The Shukan Bunshun magazine that no elite bureaucrats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not inform her that the wife of Mr. Hu Jintao came to Japan with her husband.

It is a big surprise. It is a big blunder we have never heard in the long history of the Japanese politics.

Mrs. Nobuko Kan, wife of P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan, did not know that the wife of Chinese Communist President Mr. Hu Jintao visited Japan with her husband in the late APEC Conference held in Yokohama, Japan, in early November.

Please inform Mr. Hu in Beijing of this truth if you can contact his secretary.

SECTION I: For Whom Money Circulates

You need two types of economics under a strong guiding principle.

As for corporate tax, there are various theories and possibilities as to its political, financial, economic, and social implications and implementation methods, since foreign companies are almost freely allowed to operate in a country.

Another key issue is money is not coins or paper slips any more; it is electronic data.

Most importantly, linkage of numbers or figures given to any piece of money with actual goods and services to be purchased must be also adjusted by the "Central Money Committee."

This division of the two domains, the public financial sector and the global free market system, can take effective part from socialism-oriented economics and desire-driven economics.

The target is providing an assured framework where no poverty is allowed but no limit is also allowed for the scope of possibility of individual business/economic freedom and activities.

You can be rich as much as possible, but nobody shall be poor. This is the EEE-Concept for new economics.

G: an amount of money the government is expected to issue
I: a target inflation rate
D: an amount of the governmental financial deficits in the case of no issuance of G
C: a hypothetical amount of additional issuance of central bank notes expected to cause "I"
X: a hypothetical amount by which tax revenue is expected to increase with G as a stimulus

G = C + X, if D > C

G = D, if D <= C

Other conditions to take into consideration:
i) Scale of GDP
ii) Per-capita GDP
iii) Potential of supply to provide additional goods and services without causing inflation
iv) A trend of the currency exchange rate
v) An amount of freedom of central bank's effective operation of interest rates
vi) Others

SECTION II: War at Seuol in 1593

In January of 1593, a decisive battle was fought around Seoul, Korea, between Japanese samurai troops and Ming's army.

This battle looked like resulting in an easy victory for 40,000 troops the Ming Dynasty sent to its tributary Korea, since they had already driven Japanese troops out of Pyongyang, though Japanese samurai troops were equipped with the then most advanced matchlocks.

From the beginning, as this military advancement to Ming through the Korean Peninsula had been launched on the sole initiative of the then samurai king Hideyoshi who just dreamed of his heroic conquer of China, many of samurai lords or generals who were engaged in the war crossing the Korean Strait had somehow lacked determination to carry out their mission of reaching Beijing, especially in cold winter.

Accordingly, samurai generals and their 40,000 troops defending their occupied Korean capital Seoul were arguing whether they should fight or take a flight, since the 40,000 Ming troops including 20,000 cavalries and newly introduced matchlock guns had already driven Japanese troops out of Pyongyang. In addition, Koreans warriors were also intensifying their counter offensive to the samurai forces.

At the Japanese front, only 20,000 samurai troops were stationed, so that most of samurai generals in Seoul thought that the front line would be soon broken and they would have to face the great Ming army with momentum in the needlessly large Korean capital Seoul, which was not advantageous for Japanese samurais.

In their evaluation meeting continued for days, most of samurai generals wanted to retreat to the south in the Korean Peninsula, but they pretended to be seriously talking about strategies to defend Seoul. No samurai generals wanted to be the first to propose retreat. So, they asked one respectable senior samurai lord Kobayakawa Takakage to join the meeting for final decision, since Takakage was absent from the meeting due to (pretended) illness.

Yet, at the final stage, Takakage appeared and proposed an idea of withdrawal while other generals were waiting for the word, though outwardly discussing how to fight. So, with Takakage's proposal, every samurai general got relieved and stood up as the long meeting was over; they were almost instructing their vassal samurais to leave the castle of Seoul.

But, the next moment Takakage said so heartily and heavily to other generals that if they had not been coward, they had to make a final fight against advancing Ming troops before leaving Seoul to the south.

"I am not blaming you. But, for the honor of Japanese samurai, I am now going to join the front-line troops," said the senior respectable samurai, riding on his horse with a lance in hand. Other generals hid their faces ashamedly, but started to follow Takakage's regiments with rekindled samurai spirits.

So, Kobayakawa Takakage (1533–1597) and Japanese samurais defeated the proudly marching 40,000 Ming troops, including 20,000 cavalries, in the battle north of Seoul on January 26, 1593. Nonetheless, Japanese generals and Ming generals realized that either side could not win this war, thus entering truce negotiations.

As Hideyoshi in Japan was told that Ming admitted their defeat, he ordered withdrawal of all the samurai generals and soldiers from the Korean Peninsula. In this way, the first Japan-Ming War was over as Japanese samurais could return to Japan proper in safety and with honors.

(However, when Hideyoshi, in his residential castle in Osaka, Japan, later found that the Ming Court also believed that they had won, he without hesitation embarked in the second war with Ming through the Korean Peninsula, again in 1597.

On the other hand, these two wars against samurai Japan exhausted the Ming Dynasty economically and socially, like the Russian Empire that fairly consumed national resources in the Japan-Russo War in 1904, resulting in the fall of the empire eventually to be replaced by Ching.)

Anyway, Kobayakawa Takakage was the subject samurai Toyotomi Hideyoshi (1537-1598), one of the greatest samurai heroes in the Japanese history, most trusted.

Note that Japan never fought Koreans as the main target or enemy on the Korean Peninsula; Japan always made war against a Chinese dynasty when it launched war in the Korean Peninsula.

You have to also realize that Korea had been a tributary to Chinese empires for centuries till the end of the Japan-Ching War in 1895 where the Empire of Japan forced the Ching Dynasty to have the Kingdom of Korea get independent. But, Japan was not a tributary country to China since the late 9th century before the era of samurai regimes. This difference has had a deep psychological influence on China, Korea, and Japan even of today, though it is not clearly understood outside the Far East.

(On the contrary, if Hideyoshi had succeeded in his ambitious campaign in 1590's, even Ming could have become a tributary to Japan, since Ming was conquered by Manchurian Ching in 1616. If so, the history of Asia and the world must have been very different all through the 17th to 21st centuries.)

Finally, it will be surely when Japan is involved, if the hostile state of the Korean Peninsula is solved in future, in addition to American and Chinese concession.

(It also implies that today's Chinese claim on the Senkaku Islands is as absurd as its potential territorial claim on the Korean Peninsula, if any, based on the historical tributary relationship or any old documents drawn up when the Okinawa Kingdom was another [though partial] tributary to Ming and later Ching.)

*** *** *** ***

Toyotomi Hideyoshi unified whole Japan after a century-long Era of Samurai Civil Wars.

He most trusted and respected the two samurai lords under his power: Tokugawa Ieyasu and Kobayakawa Takakage. However the one who took over the governing power from the Toyotomi clan was Ieyasu the rule of whose house continued till 1867. Yet, Ieyasu himself, unlike Takakage, did not travel to the Korean Peninsula in the Japan-Ming Wars probably due to his special relationship with Hideyoshi through the then deceased samurai hero Oda Nobunaga.

So, the lesson is that you need at least two strong aids to achieve something historic.

Otherwise, you have to be one of the two so needed by a historic hero.

As for Christ Jesus, our Holy Lord, He had St. Peter and St. Paul, very reasonably.

In Japan...
You might encounter a commando who is so die-hard...since APEC was over already.

Thirty-Six Days Left in 2010
(36 jours à gauche avant 2011)

The New York Times claimed that there is nothing to worry, since South Korean islanders of Yeonpyeong do not mind the recent artillery attack.

-------------
YEONPYEONG ISLAND JOURNAL
In Clash Between Koreas, Fishermen Feel First Bite
...
Some islanders even groused that the only invaders they had seen were the hordes of South Korean reporters and television crew members, who descend on them during every standoff with the North.

“When we see the TV crews, we know something is going on,” said Park Choon-geun, 49, a crab-boat captain. “Otherwise, we think life is normal here.”

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/24/world/asia/24korea.html
-------------

This manner of reporting would surely provoke South Koreans and Japanese if translated so honestly.

Several months ago in the same sea area, more than 40 South Korean sailors were killed by N. Korea's torpedo attack.

North Korea has recently demonstrated to the Obama Administration feasibility of making uranium-based nuclear bombs.

Now, North Korea killed two islanders plus two S. Korean marines with bombardment on Yeonpyeong Island.

And, like Japan's Senkaku case, The New York Times actually defends the attacker to a free and democratic nation in the Far East.

Today, the South Korean and Japanese media reported that Mr. Kim Jong-il and his promised successor visited the opposite area to the Island and authorized the deadly shelling (with 170 shells) just two days before the attack.

Yet, alarmingly, The New York Times claimed that there is nothing to worry, since South Korean islanders of Yeonpyeong do not mind the recent artillery attack.

SECTION I: Jack London & Japanese

Around the Japan-Russo War (1904-1905) and later, Jack London (1876-1916) could not straightly respect Japanese.

In London's reports as a war correspondent in the front of the War:
---------------
In morale the Japanese soldiers are equal, possibly superior, to European troops. Their tactics are superior to those of the Russians. They outwitted their enemy, who did not contemplate any serious defence. The loss of the guns was due to the slaughter of the horses and to the quick movements of the Japanese and the utter disregard of life which they displayed.
...
In the past I have preached the Economic Yellow Peril; henceforth l shall preach the Militant Yellow Peril.
...

The Japanese resembles a precocious child who talks philosophy one moment, and the next moment is making mud pies. One moment he is acting with the wisdom of the West and the next moment with the childishness of the East.
...
The Japanese does not in the least understand the correspondent or the mental processes of a correspondent, which are a white man's mental processes. The Japanese is of a military race…The Japanese cannot understand straight talk, white man's talk.
...
l think as to the quietness, strictness and orderliness of Japanese soldiers it is very hard to find any equals in the world…I have never seen even a single Jap soldier who got drunk or acting violently, yet its infantry is perfectness itself,…Japanese is the race who can produce real fighting men, and its infantry is simply superb.
...
I doubt if there be more peaceable, orderly soldiers in the world than the Japanese....but the Japanese are not boisterous. They are very serious.
...
The Japanese soldiery and equipment seem to command universal admiration.
...
The Japanese are a race of warriors.
...
The Japanese are surely a military race.

....

http://ritsumeikeizai.koj.jp/koj_pdfs/58303.pdf
---------------

Jack London also wrote:
The Japanese might one day collaborate on an 'adventure' which could shatter the long domination of the Western World.

http://www.jack-london.org/05-mat-warcorrespondet_e.htm

There is no such a description as "Yellow Peril" in any holy books used in the west of the Khyber Pass.

Japan is a unique nation that has never had an ambition to conquer the world, though it tried to govern the whole East Asia in a few years around 1940.

SECTION II: Jack London & China

Around the Japan-Russo War (1904-1905) and later, Jack London (1876-1916) predicted that if China should be helped economically develop by Japanese, the combination of Japan and China would be the real Yellow Peril.

---------------
We are a race of doers and fighters, of globe-encirclers and zone-conquerors …. While we are persistent and resistant, we are made so that we fit ourselves to the most diverse conditions. Will the Indian, the Negro, or the Mongol ever conquer the Teuton? Surely not! The Indian has persistence without variability; if he does not modify he dies, if he does try to modify he dies anyway. The Negro has adaptability, but he is servile and must be led. As for the Chinese, they are permanent. All that the other races are not, the Anglo-Saxon, or Teuton if you please, is. All that the other races have not, the Teuton has.
...
The Korean is the perfect type of inefficiency—of utter worthlessness. The Chinese is the perfect type of industry; The Chinese is no coward; [The Japanese] would not of himself constitute a Brown Peril ... The menace to the Western world lies, not in the little brown man; but in the four hundred millions of yellow men should the little brown man undertake their management.
...
It must be taken into consideration that the above postulate is itself a product of Western race-egotism, urged by our belief in our own righteousness and fostered by a faith in ourselves which may be as erroneous as are most fond race fancies.

http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Jack_London
---------------

So, Jack London predicted around the Japan-Russo War (1904-1905) and later that Japan would challenge the Western powers militarily and economically.

Yet, Jack thought that Japan alone would not succeed in putting an end to dominance of European races.

It should be the scale of the Chinese population whose industrious potential would be put into practical force through contribution by Japanese, so foretold Jack.

In this context American socialist Jack London was a reliable witness of the Far East in the early 20th century.

However, as China did not join the Empire of Japan but tied up with the Soviet Union to adopt Marxism, no Yellow Peril was realized.

Moreover, the U.S. came to make a clear resolution to make war against the Empire of Japan before it conquered China through the Second Japan-Sino War while the U.S. had a great economic and technological predominance over Japan.

In this context, American socialist Jack London (1876-1916) failed to foresee what the U.S. would turn to be after 1940 through the Japan-US War.

Anyway, you had better refer to other analysis on Jack London:
http://www.thefreelibrary.com/%22Beware+the+monkey+cage%22:+Jack+London+and+the+Yellow+Peril.-a0215483645

SECTION III: Jack London & London in 1902

Before accompanying Imperial Japan's troops in the Japan-Russo War, American socialist Jack London (1876-1916) went to London, England, to live among the poor and conduct his research on the poor.

In the last chapter of THE PEOPLE OF THE ABYSS, he wrote:

--------------------
In the United Kingdom, on the rim of the Western Ocean, live the English folk. They are a consummately civilised people. Their capital amounts to at least 300 pounds per head. They gain their food, not by hunting and fishing, but by toil at colossal artifices. For the most part, they suffer from lack of shelter. The greater number of them are vilely housed, do not have enough fuel to keep them warm, and are insufficiently clothed. A constant number never have any houses at all, and sleep shelterless under the stars. Many are to be found, winter and summer, shivering on the streets in their rags. They have good times and bad. In good times most of them manage to get enough to eat, in bad times they die of starvation. They are dying now, they were dying yesterday and last year, they will die to-morrow and next year, of starvation; for they, unlike the Innuit, suffer from a chronic condition of starvation. There are 40,000,000 of the English folk, and 939 out of every 1000 of them die in poverty, while a constant army of 8,000,000 struggles on the ragged edge of starvation. Further, each babe that is born, is born in debt to the sum of 22 pounds. This is because of an artifice called the National Debt.

http://www.jacklondons.net/writings/PeopleOfTheAbyss/chapter27.html
--------------------

The Yellow Peril was not necessary to make poor British suffer.

The Yellow Peril might have even smashed down British elites to liberate the poor.

Anyway, there is no such a description as "Yellow Peril" in any holy books used in the west of the Khyber Pass.

Jack London should have been to Germany to foresee the coming tragedy of European Judaists in the early 20th century.

To American friends of Japan, the conservative and genuinely pro-American LDP will sooner or later come back to power in the Japanese national politics.

But, my concern is, as exemplified in words of Christ Jesus, how much they will be improved spiritually.

In most cases, when you come back to a house, you will sometimes bring seven bad spirits with you.

So, I will advise President Mr. Barack Obama, if he decides to leave the White House, he had better not to come back again.

It is so, since there might be someone in the House so die-hard tough against Mr. Obama's followers in that case.

"and ye shall have them"

Hey...
This is...
Tokyo...though...

The Moment of Revenge for S. Korea's G20 Glory
(l'heure de la vengeance pour la gloire du G20 de l'ennemi?)

North Korea envied South Korea for any success and glory of the latter.

Before the Seoul Olympic Games, North Korea targeting a S. Korean airliner and a S. Korean envoy to Myammar carried out horrible terror only AlQaeda would adopt due to its atrocity.

Now after G20 in Seoul the U.S. so strongly backed up, North Korea must be highly embarrassed because its future dictator looks like a bad joke of a lonesome poor country.

So, the North invited American elites to show them 2000 centrifugal separators for uranium enrichment.

So, the North shelled a border island on the South side.

I think it is motivated by shame and envy of North Korean leaders and elites, so that the situation will not progress to all-out bombardment on Seoul over 55km distance by the N. Korean army.

Yet, everything in the Far East depends on the relationship between Japan and the U.S., though some media nowadays stick to the unlearned, irresponsible, or malicious US-China G2 paradigm.

SECTION I: Review of GM

The following figure of profit margin on sales of major car manufacturers tells the situation GM was in before the bailout by the U.S. Government.

It shows that more they sell products, the more they get money or lose money.

One of the most stupid incidents in America in these years is the bankruptcy and the recovery of GM management.

It symbolizes the relationship between industry and finance. It suggests how wasteful capitalism is in terms of book keeping. But, the core of this historical event is degradation of ability and moral of American business elites.

A business is only allowed to exist if it proves that the organization is not a mass of gangsters.

A gangster laughs at and despises the concept of public interest and good.

GM is suspected of having violated this implicit code of conduct.

Joy of workers at any tire in GM should come from contribution to public interest and good but not from a big bonus.

Now that GM sells more cars in China than in America (1.21 million cars vs. 1.07 million cars in the first half of 2010), it needs this implicit code of conduct more.

It is so, since those who can buy GM cars in China look like a kind of gangsters in the eyes of 220 million poor Chinese workers who have come from rural areas to cities to earn humble living.

SECTION II: Review of Japan-US War in 1940's

Some stupid and arrogant European Americans still think that the Empire of Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in December of 1941 as Japanese were stupid and arrogant.

But, the following must become the standard knowledge and understanding of the Japan-US War of 1940's.

------------------
How Roosevelt Provoked Tokyo's Attack On Pearl Harbor
By C. Frank Glass, The Militant, Vol.59, no.46, 11 December 1995

...
1. That President Roosevelt, while proclaiming his love of peace and hatred of war, was embarked on a deliberate course of war with Japan (and Germany) long before Pearl Harbor and that this was the conscious policy of his Administration.

2. That Roosevelt's policy toward Japan was one of systematic pressure to force the Japanese imperialists to commit the overt act which would touch off a war explosion. Roosevelt was obliged to pursue this strategy in order to be able to brand Japan as the aggressor and stampede the people of the United States into a war to which a majority of the nation had been steadfastly opposed. The peace-loving President had assured the American people that their sons would not be sent to fight in foreign wars. This made it necessary that the United States should be attacked so that the drive of American imperialism for mastery of the Pacific could be presented in the guise of a war of national defense and survival.
...
The vast economic power of the United States, and the economic frailty of Japan guaranteed the success of Roosevelt's strategy of provoking war by tightening an economic noose around Japan. The sanctions imposed on Japan in 1940-41 are referred to in the Army Board's report. The Army's investigators understood their drastic character and had no doubt that the Roosevelt policy led only to war. The pertinent section of the report reads, in part, as follows:

It was in the fall of 1940 that we cast the die and adopted economic sanctions. And we find it significant that about June 1940 General Herron as Commanding General of the Hawaiian Department upon Washington orders went into an all-out alert into battle positions with live ammunition for six weeks.

In September the export of iron and steel scrap was prohibited. The effect of the United States policy was to cut off from Japan by the winter of 1940-41 the shipment of many strategic commodities, including arms, ammunition, and implements of war, aviation gasoline and many other petroleum products, machine tools, scrap iron, pig iron and steel manufactures, copper, lead, zinc, aluminum, and a variety of other commodities. . . . Nor was this all. These disastrous embargoes were supplemented by Washington's abrogation of the U.S.- Japanese Treaty of Commerce and Navigation which deprived Japan of most favored nation treatment in her remaining trade with the United States, and by the freezing of Japanese credits in this country. Among the most important consequences of these moves was the destruction of Japan's lucrative and vital silk trade with this country, upon the proceeds of which Japan largely depended for the financing of her imports...

http://www.hartford-hwp.com/archives/20/001.html
------------------

The true point at issue is why it came to that "President Roosevelt, while proclaiming his love of peace and hatred of war, was embarked on a deliberate course of war with Japan (and Germany) long before Pearl Harbor and that this was the conscious policy of his Administration."

Did President Roosevelt know that European Judaists were all to be killed by Nazis?

Did President Roosevelt think that the U.K. would be conquered by Hitler sooner or later?

Or, did President Roosevelt think that the Chinese market should be secured for America before the conquer of China by the Empire of Japan?

Yet, President Roosevelt was persuaded by a Soviet spy to enter the war against Nazi Germany and the Empire of Japan, according to a theory. Yes, in order to save the USSR from the danger of facing attacks and invasion from both the sides of its west and its east.

Ironically, after the Japan-US War, Japanese industry leveraged its free access to the U.S. market and the American Government leveraged its tie with Japan during the Cold War with the Soviet Union.

Indeed, if there are 1,000 potentially influential people in a capital of a big country, nobody alone can be convinced of what decisive factor would really decide the course of the country.

As a Japanese, I am very sorry that the Empire of Japan had no spy or friend in Washington D.C. in 1941 who would kindly inform that Roosevelt and somebody had finished their scenario of the coming war with the Empire of Japan which was expected to end in several months around the Philippines, since the Imperial Navy could not have the then world's most advanced fighter plane "Zero."

Anyway, today, Japan and the U.S. are both bound by the Japan-U.S. Security Arrangements, not only for Toyota and Honda in the American market but also for GM and Ford in the Chinese market whose growth was in Japan's debt.

SECTION III: Nobody Trusts China except The New York Times?

Chinese newspapers do not inform Chinese citizens that North Korea first opened fire over the sea border onto the tiny island of Yeonpyeong. They wrote that North and South Koreas are bickering about which side started to conduct the deadly bombardment.

Chinese newspapers also always inform Chinese citizens that the Senkaku Islands belong to China since (only a few) old books have descriptions about them, though they were written in the era of Columbus. They also wrote that Japan Coast Guard ships violently rammed a Chinese shipping boat having operated around the Chinese sea territory around the Senkaku Islands.

The New York Times always believes what China says.

But, truth is that North Korea started to attack like AlQaeda yesterday as it did in the Korean War in 1950; and the Senkaku Islands belong to Japan since Okinawa people have been sailing around the sea area at least in these 1300 years whiled no Chinese ever lived on the Islands.

The New York Times always believes what China says. So, the American media never checks, probably, authenticity and accuracy of data the Chinese communists present in terms of economy.

But, there is data that cast doubt on China's GDP reporting.

China's Energy Use Trend:

China's GDP Trend:

http://www.starmass.com/china_review/economy_overview/economy_gdp_trends.htm

Correlation between energy use and GDP in a country is strong. In this context, China's GDP trend and energy consumption trend should be confronted with each other.

If we cannot trust China, we cannot trust The New York Times when it quotes China's claim in a strangely friendly manner.

Now, as the USS aircraft carrier George Washington stationed in Japan is heading for the Yellow Sea and toward the sea area around Yeonpyeong island of South Korea, The New York Times' easy friendship with Chinese communists might result in something of a scale of the 9/11 Terror for which actually the American media might be accountable due to its watchdog function.

Parallax is an apparent displacement or difference in the apparent position of an object viewed along two different lines of sight, and is measured by the angle or semi-angle of inclination between those two lines. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parallax

By applying binocular parallax, autostereoscopic display becomes possible. Accordingly, you can observe and enjoy 3D images without a special pair of glasses.

When you hear a piece of news, it should be understood in 3D structure. It is not easy, but a historian must be able to observe things in the past with effective binocular parallax in his brain.

So, it is not easy for ordinary people, so that the Pearl Harbor and the 9/11 Terror resulted in tragedies multiplied by the stupid and arrogant will of American leaders.

Anyway, the year end is near in Japan. The Kan Cabinet looks like making way to 2011, though with shaky footing. President Mr. Obama will have to make a great decision next year, too.

Indeed, a regime change must be crazy and wonderful for experimental political scientists.

”exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell”

                              Tokyo

State of War in the Korean Peninsula
(L'état de guerre dans la péninsule coréenne)

It was on CNN that I first saw the news report on North Korea's firing at Yeonpyeong Island of South Korea.

No Japanese TV stations changed their stupid programs to an urgent news reporting from the Korean Peninsula.

War and natural disaster are coded as Act of God in any non-nonsense legal document.

The public media must follow an implicit contract with the public that they will give the highest priority to any sign of Act of God.

SECTION I: Enemies Taken as Friends

There is one big problem in Japan.

There are too many bureaucrats, economists, and scholars who believe that Western media and Western economists are friends of Japan.

There are too many bureaucrats, economists, and scholars who believe that Western media and Western economists are never trying to catch every chance to impair Japan's credit.

There are too many bureaucrats and scholars who believe that whatever written in English by Western journalists and Western economists are based on goodwill to Japan.

So, if they see a picture a Western magazine posts at the head of an article with clear intention to put Japan down, many bureaucrats and scholars think that there must be a profound meaning to use such a picture. But, truth is that the Western media company just wants to appeal to readers in the world who envy Japan and like to see Japan's fall. Specifically, The Economist seems to like to appeal to anti-Japanese Chinese readers and American readers, using a stupid picture in their recent article about Japan.

Many Japanese feel that the country will gather the courage to tackle the demographic threat only when living standards and social services fall in the cities, where most young and middle-aged voters live. For the moment, such places still feel too busy and comfortable to be ready for profound change. But as Japan's city dwelling politicians look at their greying hair in the mirror, tomorrow's crisis may be staring them in the face.

-------------------

Western media and Western economists want to see the fall of Japan.

They like to see other Asians and Chinese to hate Japan.

But why?

It is because only Japan has proved in the history that Western Christians cannot be the best people, the best tribes, and the best race on the earth.

What Japan and Japanese have done in the past centuries is that even Chinese and Indians can compete with and defeat Westerners, though still looking fairly difficult.

That is why Western media and Western economists want to see the fall of Japan.

Japanese bureaucrats, economists, and scholars must realize that they have to first check any article a Western magazine presents as to how much malice against Japan is included there.

Otherwise, do you think that European Americans really wish that Islamic nations will achieve great success in economic and technological development to compete with America so as to glorify Islam more than Christianity and Judaism or American Dream?

SECTION II: Betrayer China

China is bad, if The New York Times is unbelievably blind.

The Chinese Communist Government announced that a Chinese fishing boat was attacked by Japan Coast Guard ships around the Senkaku Islands which are their own territory (as the 14th century's or later's books include some descriptions about the Islands) while Japan unlawfully occupies the Islands on the East China Sea.

Truth is that the Senkaku Islands belong to Japan and the Kingdom of Okinawa in these 1000 years or from the beginning of history; and the Chinese fishing boat rammed itself against JCG ships that were carefully trying to oust the Chinese boat out of the Japanese sea territory as the JCG's video shows.

After WWII, the Chinese Communist Government invaded Tibet, occupied Islamic regions in the Central Asia, and made war in the Korean Peninsula and against Vietnam, while supporting North Korea trying to be fully equipped with nuclear weapons. As they took freedom away from its people, today 100 million Chinese have mental illness or troubles, while most of mental hospitals in China are being used as substitutes for prisons and labor camps. They are now intimidating diplomats in the world to prevent them from attending a Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.

(In the world, only the Mafia will support China when they heard any disputes between Japan and China even without checking details. But, The New York Times actually did it.)

After WWII, Japan has never been engaged in war, except sending some Ground Self-Defense Force troops to southern Iraq for humanitarian aid during the era of Mr. Junichiro Koizumi and Mr. George W. Bush.

Japan has offered financial and technical aid to China since conclusion of the Treaty of Peace and Friendship between Japan and the People's Republic of China in 1978 in which China vowed virtually no expansion of its military.

While China's GDP was one fourth, one third, and a half of today's pseudo world No. 2 level, Japan's aid to China accounted for 10% of China's national budget or more (as I once discussed).

http://eereporter.blogspot.com/2010/10/and-he-to-whom-son-will-reveal-him.html

Taking into account economic value of technology, industrial properties, and know-hows Japan provided free for, or Japan was robbed of, by Chinese in these decades, Japan's contribution to China could reach, or measured as, scores of hundred billion dollars in today's Chinese economy.

One example is the high-speed train technology:

---------------------------
NOVEMBER 17, 2010

Train Makers Rail Against China's High-Speed Designs

By NORIHIKO SHIROUZU

QINGDAO, China—When the Japanese and European companies that pioneered high-speed rail agreed to build trains for China, they thought they'd be getting access to a booming new market, billions of dollars worth of contracts and the cachet of creating the most ambitious rapid rail system in history.

What they didn't count on was having to compete with Chinese firms who adapted their technology and turned it against them just a few years later.
...
But Kawasaki, in a statement, says it and other high-speed train producers disagree with China's claim that it has created its own technology. Most of its trains in operation today, some executives say, are almost exactly the same as its foreign partners' trains.
...
Some executives questioned the wisdom of dealing with China. "We didn't take part in the export project to China, "says Yoshiyuki Kasai, chairman of Central Japan Railway Co. "The conditions were not favorable—they wanted all the technology to be transferred for free. That was not good for us."

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704814204575507353221141616.html?KEYWORDS=shinkansen
---------------------------

Japanese elites should realize that Japan and China has entered another war: the sixth time in history since the war of 663 between the Imperial Yamato Court of Japan and the Tang Dynasty.

But, why has Japan provided so much aid for China?

It is because it thought Japan's goodwill will be rewarded with Chinese goodwill in mutual development of economy.

However, the Chinese Communist Party cannot stand without playing a false hero, before its people, fighting and blaming Japanese militarism in WWII and in 1930's. When Japan apologized for WWII and 1930's, the Chinese Communist Party abused it as an excuse for robbing Japan of technology and money in these decades, the amount of which could reach, or measured as, scores of hundred billion dollars in today's Chinese economy.

Anyway, doesn't The New York Times think it strange that the Chinese Communist Government suddenly stopped blaming Japan on the Senkaku incident, though they had claimed apology and damages from the Japanese Government before the release of the Senkaku video?

The New York Times should advise China to extend apology and damages to the Japanese Government for their Senkaku crimes, based on the proof the Senkaku video and the historical analysis of the Senkaku issue by EEE-Repoter present.

http://eereporter.blogspot.com/2010/10/yesterday-two-miracles-however-you.html

Nowadays, China has sent naval-ship-modified fishing patrol ships around the Senkaku Islands which are sailing around the sea border of Japan's territory.

SECTION III: Proof of Japan's Guiding China in Modernization

If The New York Times have Chinese staff members, have them read the following kanji expressions and tell them that those expressions and terms were all invented in Japan during its modernization in the late 19th century.

Chinese imported these expressions and terms from Japan since the late 19th century, since all of them could be used for translation of Western words concerning, history, religion, culture, art, science, industry, economy, business, politics, and war.

In Larry King Live of CNN, Former President Mr. George H.W. Bush praised Mr. King as he has always delivered a straight ball but not a curb ball.

But, the Reagan-Bush era was, as we look back at it now, truly the one of the last post-WWII administration.

An ex-Hollywood actor president and an ex-CIA elite vice president were straightly pressing FRB Chairman Mr. Greenspan to adopt a policy they opted for.

Indeed, before John Lennon was assassinated, JFK had been assassinated.

Before JFK was assassinated in Dallas, WWII pilot Mr. George H.W. Bush was shot down into the Pacific Ocean by Imperial fire.

Of course, JFK himself was attacked by an Imperial destroyer to be narrowly saved in the South Pacific Ocean.

This is the time span of 65 years, though you can live only one life.

Indeed, 65 years after the birth of Christ Jesus, a great war erupted between Romans and Israelites who eventually lost their shrine and holy city Jerusalem after the war.

Yes, if you survive 34 years of your life, I hope that you can sustain your time and health till at least 65 of your age, if not only to observe a great war.

"unto this mountain, Be thou removed"

Tokyo Haneda...
Airport landing as one per minute?

A Humorous Gesture before a Holiday?
(un geste plein d'humour avant un Jour Férié?)

It is not because he performed a stupid gesture in sessions of the national Diet that Japan's Minister of Justice Mr. Yanagaida has been forced to leave his position.

At 8:00 a.m. this morning, Minister Mr. Yanagida was called to Prime Minister's Office where P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan and Chief Cabinet Secretary Mr. Yoshito Sengoku were waiting for him.

Opposition conservative LDP has been requesting P.M. Mr. Kan and the ruling DPJ to fire Mr. Yanagida, because he showed no respect to the Japanese parliament in his recent speech to his supporters who gathered in a party held in his constituency.

This is the biggest news in Japan today, since tomorrow Tuesday, November 23, is a public holiday in Japan, too.

SECTION I: Chinese Racial Mystery

In 2000, Japanese scientists and a Chinese scholar studied DNAs taken from human remains which had been unearthed in the Linzi District, a prefecture-level city of central Shandong province, China.

The excavation site consists of two layers, one belongs to the age of 2500 years ago and another to that of 2000 years ago.

The DNAs from human bones of 2500 years ago showed that their features are close to those of modern Europeans.

The DNAs from human bones of 2000 years ago showed that their features are close to those of modern Central Asians.

It is very interesting since Linzi where ancient human bones were unearthed is close to the Yellow Sea and the Korean Peninsula.

It is also very noteworthy, for it was 2500 years ago that Confucius (551 B.C. to 479 B.C.) and other ancient Chinese philosophers contributed to cultural blooming of the so-called Spring and Autumn Period (770 B.C. to 403 B.C.) in China.

Residents in Linzi 2500 years ago are close to Portuguese and Icelanders of today. Then, Confucius and other ancient Chinese philosophers living in the Spring and Autumn Period might have been close to Portuguese, Icelanders, Germans, Finlanders, or Welshmen of today as the above figure indicates.

Even so, by 2000 years ago, there must have been a great racial movement in Central China. It was when the Western Han (206 B.C. to 8 B.C.) was going to fall, though after the fall of the first Chinese Empire of Qin (206 B.C.).

If it had not been of a scale comparable to volkerwanderung of Europe in the late first millennium, it must have been something critically demanding a change in our view of ancient China which is very familiar to educated Japanese.

*** *** *** ***

One remark about the above quoted DNA study paper is that a key factor is Neanderthal traits.

In summary, Neanderthal traits are found in today's Europeans and those who speak a language of the Indo-Iranian language group.

But, some ancestors of today's Chinese might also share the Neanderthal traits with some ancestors of Europeans.

That might be why I feel in some Chinese something alien from other East Asian people.

The point at issue is how much, even if several percentages, you share these Neanderthal traits like most of Europeans of today.

I think most of Jomon-lineage Japanese of today have almost no such traits, if such a category is possible and allowed even for a political reason.

Anyway, I will examine this matter later, since it looks important somehow personally.

There was a special system in China before its modernization.

It was the examination for selection of elite bureaucrats who honorably served an emperor.

The system is called the "Imperial Examination" (Kakyo in Japanese), since an emperor himself set an examination paper at the last stage of a series of difficult tests.

---------------------
The Imperial examination was an examination system in Imperial China designed to select the best administrative officials for the state's bureaucracy. This system had a huge influence on both society and culture in Imperial China and was directly responsible for the creation of a class of scholar-bureaucrats irrespective of their family pedigree. Neighboring Asian countries such as Japan, Vietnam and Korea also implemented similar systems to draw in their top national talent.[1][2]

Established in AD 605 during the Sui Dynasty, the imperial examinations developed and matured during the Tang Dynasty, continuing until their 1905 abolition under the Qing Dynasty, a history (with brief interruptions, e.g. at the beginning of the Yuan dynasty) of 1,300 years. The modern examination system for selecting civil service staff also indirectly evolved from the imperial one.[3]
...
The Chinese Imperial examination system had important influences on the Northcote-Trevelyan Report and hence on the reform of the Civil Service in British India and later in the United Kingdom.[12]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imperial_examination
---------------------

The Chinese classic Imperial Examination was truly a narrow gate; one in 3,000 examinees could pass the final test. An average age of successful candidates was 26.

But, what was tested? It was ability to compose high quality of poetry based on knowledge in notable Confucius books.

After passing the final examination, most of new elites were sent to local cities and farming areas, though those imperial bureaucrats had no knowledge on economy, engineering, and public administration. Their official salary was also low.

Accordingly, elites sent from the imperial capital to local districts tried to accumulate their assets through bribery, illegal collection of tax, and other ways of exploitation of local people, which was virtually condoned by the Imperial Court. The imperial governors also cooperated with local principals who also served the Imperial Government as local officials, in amassing personal fortunes and enriching themselves.

The bottom line is that Chinese elites, so elected through super difficult examinations till the 20 th century since the 7th century, had studied and mastered the teachings of Confucius as knowledge so perfectly, but they gave no heed to the holy teachings once they were appointed to any office in the imperial government of any Chinese dynasty.

Chinese emperors wanted their subjects to be a master of reading, writing, and knowledge of classic literature, but also expected them to exploit people and make riches, while paying law salary to them.

In this way, Chinese farmers and common people had to take on multiple burdens imposed by an emperor, the imperial court, imperial bureaucrats and governors, and local officials and bosses.

Koreans also followed suit by adopting this system.

But, in Japan, the imperial court was replaced by the samurai government around the 10th century. Since then, samurai clans ruled their own territories half independently from the central samurai government, mostly called shogunate. Samurais served shogun or their lord as bureaucrats. Conversely, to be a bureaucrat, one had to be first a samurai. And, the status of a samurai was succeeded by his son, generation after generation.

Accordingly, in Japan, Confucius and other Chinese classic philosophy and teachings were studied by samurais, monks, and even merchants and farmers as an academic subject, codes of conduct, and ethical norms, but not as a means of exploiting framers and those in vulnerable positions as observed in China.

That is why Japanese study of Confucius and other ancient Chinese philosophers is more genuine, insightful, and trustworthy than that by Chinese.

This is one facet of truth between Japan and China, significance of which no American elites seem to understand.

Among elites, telling a lie is the norm in China, but not in Japan due to teachings by Confucius.

American elites, including The New York Times staff, must first increase their knowledge in history of East Asia through correct information and data Japanese would provide.

And, I came back from the Haneda International Airport this evening to find that Chinese youths are so much studying Japanese animations and manga comics, since a TV program featured it tonight.

But, the Chinese Communist Government is now trying to boost the manga comic culture in China. They want to share reputation of Japan in this field. They are boasting that China has always a big manga/animation industry to be the strongest nation in this field in the near future.

Nonetheless, no Japanese manga artists started their career to make Japan the manga power or animation super-power in the world. Their success did not start with their wrong ambitions as seen in China today. So, it would take half a century for China to realize the difference between Japan and China even in the field of manga comic culture.

It is what I want to say to the world tonight, before going to sleep.

Finally, not many miracles in Tokyo Haneda today as you see above in my pictures or manga frames drawn and painted with electronic circuits embedded in a camera...

Be an adventurous developer for riches of the harvest!
