"His Disciples Heard It"

(Japan's National Diet Building Facing Imperial Palace or Ex-Edo Castle)

Pearl Harbor & Auschwitz

Some 10 minutes ago President Mr. Barack Obama concluded his morning speech in Tokyo while he stressed his request to Myanmar to release Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi*.

The President is going to have an imperial lunch with the Emperor while Prime Minister Mr. Yukio Hatoyama has already flown to Singapore for the APEC meeting.

*: The 1991 Nobel Peace Prize winner, a daughter of General Aun San who during his independence battles against the U.K. found asylum in Japan with help from an Imperial Army colonel in 1940.

Two thousand years ago, Judaists lost their nation and the capital Jerusalem through a series of wars with the Roman Empire.

Then, from the late 20th century to today, Judaists have built its nation Israel again and are trying hard to restore Judaistic Jerusalem with great aid from the United States (or the American Democratic Empire).

Two thousand years ago, Jesus of Nazareth emerged to be Christ and revered as God.

Today, Christ identified as God might emerge again as another Advent of Jesus of Nazareth.

Otherwise, the history of descendants of the ancient Mesopotamian (probably actually a kind of Sumerians) Abraham would contain nothing but war with 1800 year-long or more blanks of their national history on the earth.

One of the most drastic decisions on war or peace in these 2000 years was made by the Imperial Government of Japan in December 1941.

How mysterious the situation was then could be glimpsed by focusing on the following series of movements:

1. Millions of European Judaists had been already persecuted so systematically by Nazis.

2. There were super rich Judaists, very rich Judaists, and rich Judaists in England and America who must have had some means to confirm various rumors on what was going on on the European Continent.

3. American Christians did not try to find out what was going on in Europe and did not want to join the U.K. and France for the war against Nazi Germany.

(One example is the father of JFK, the Ambassador to the U.K. at the time, who trusted Hitler and Nazis so much in contrast to Churchill's doubt on them before the eruption of WWII on the European stage.)

4. In the summer of 1941 or so, the U.S. Government stopped supplying crude oil and iron for the Empire of Japan, forcing the Imperial Navy of Japan to face a danger of depleting its fuel reserves in months.

5. Though the Empire of Japan had been negotiating with the U.S. Government for months prior to December 1941, the Roosevelt Administration did not soften its position, threatening and declaring that without all-out withdrawal of the Imperial troops from the Mainland China no oil and iron would be supplied for the Empire of Japan.

6. Accordingly the Imperial Government took it as the ultimatum from the U.S. The Imperial Government clearly saw determination of Roosevelt for going to war against the Empire of Japan.

7. Though the Empire of Japan could sustain its war in China without importing oil and iron from the U.S., its Navy would be surely immobilized in months. Therefore time was running out for the Empire. If the U.S. had declared war against Japan several months later, which the Empire was very much convinced of, the Imperial Navy warships should have just anchored in their mother ports, watching U.S. fleets freely sailing over the Pacific Ocean full of territorial islands of the Empire.

8. Eventually, without any strategical connection with situations in wars and battles in the Chinese Continent and the European Continent, the Empire of Japan decided to make war on the U.S., though the Empire had thought the long diplomatic negotiations with the Roosevelt Administration would finally result in peace, since it was a reasonable conclusion.

9. Yet, for some unknown reasons for the Empire, the U.S. Government was determined to launch war between the Empire and the U.S. Eventually the long negotiations on the nature of the Japan-China War, Japanese assets in America having been confiscated by the U.S. Government, and the ending of the embargo on export of oil and iron to the Empire finally led the Empire to a dangerous stalemate.

10. Lest the U.S. should have declared war when the Imperial Navy completely lost oil fuels for the world No.2 mighty fleets, the Imperial Government had to launch war effectively at the most threatening bases in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, in December 1941, so as to teach Americans costs of war with Japan, since it was apparent that the Roosevelt Administration was determined to open war with the Empire at any time in coming months.

(It is also interesting that General MacArthur was not informed of the imminent outbreak of war, while Washington expected the Imperial Navy would surely attack U.S. bases in the Philippians where General MacArthur was stationed, just like it did not either inform American citizens and voters...)

In this way, one of the most drastic decisions on war or peace in these 2000 years was made by the Imperial Government of Japan in December 1941, allowing the U.S. to make war against Nazi Germany, an ally of the Empire of Japan, very unfortunately or too innocently, while the Empire of Japan saved tens of thousands of Judaists in 1930's and 1940's in Northern Europe and Manchuria or Shanghai through diplomatic and military channels, including General Tojo's authorization.

Yet, it is still unknown why the Roosevelt Administration had to take so much time before sending its troops to the European Continent to save Judaist Europeans, since six million of them lost their lives by the end of WWII on the European stage.

Indeed, there is no International Military Tribunal for war-crimes of a victor country.

(American elementary schools, high schools, colleges, universities, and graduate colleges must teach this fact and truth to their students.

Since most of professors of the Harvard University cannot explain why President Roosevelt could not prevent the Pearl Harbor Attack through then-ongoing months-long negotiations with the Empire of Japan, just like they cannot explain why the JFK was assassinated, the 9/11 Terror was set off, and the Lehman Shock occurred.

Otherwise, they must be able to present effective preventive measures and take necessary actions.)

In these 2000 years, there has been almost no wars between a Christian nation and a genuine Judaistic nation (that is, except Khazar), though some Islamic nations sometimes fought Christian nations and a Judaistic nation.

Japan has never directly exchanged fire with a Judaistic nation and an Islamic nation.

Barack, get you balance like you got over jet lag.

(They very recently presented the movie "Is Paris Burning?" on an NHK satellite TV channel in Japan. So, the Kyrie[eleison] from the Mass of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame, since Nazis could not destroy it.

Mar 11:12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:

Mar 11:13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

Mar 11:14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

"The LORD said unto Solomon"

(Symbolically Imperial Capital Tokyo)

In Japan, as I once wrote, the year 2009 is also called "Heiser 21."

Since the Chinese people abolished their emperor through revolution and the Empire of Japan moved the last Chinese Emperor to Manchuria in the early 20th century, China uses only Anno Domini or the Christian Era (as they respect Marxism, Western philosophy).

However, in Japan, each time a new emperor ascends to the throne, a new name of an era is adopted according to a nominally 2500 year-long tradition; thus the present Emperor has been praised with the name of his era "Heisei" since January 8, 1989. Accordingly, this year is the 20th anniversary for His Majesty The Emperor and Her Majesty The Empress.

The kanji letter "Hei" means peace; the one "Sei" means being accomplished.

Unlike his father Showa Emperor, demanded to be the institutional head of descendants of samurais who governed the Empire of Japan even after the fall of the Tokugawa samurai regime, today's Emperor has never been honorably in regimentals. The Emperor is not authorized to lead military of what ever sort today by the Japanese Constitution. It is Prime Minister of Japan who is in that charge.

Most importantly, the Imperial House has its own Shintoism religion, which is however not the state religion of Japan today, since there is no state religion in Japan though people are under strong influence of Confucianism, Buddhism, Shintoism, and some Western philosophy.

1Ki 11:11 Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

1Ki 11:12 Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father's sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.

1Ki 11:13 Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen.

1Ki 11:14 And the LORD stirred up an adversary unto Solomon, Hadad the Edomite: he was of the king's seed in Edom.

"A Great Voice from Heaven "

(Governmental District Kasumigaseki, Tokyo, on August 29, 2009)

President Mr. Barack Obama reportedly has invited the governor of Okinawa and a mayor of a city in Okinawa to his planned lecture meeting in Tokyo this Friday.

The city in Okinawa has been long suffering a burden of accommodating a U.S. Marine Corps' base.

Though President Mr. Obama must be mostly thinking about how he should strengthen the framework for cooperation with China as he plans to visit Beijing next week, G3 (Japan, America, and China) must focus on how to maintain the peace around the East China Sea, since the Sea, edged by the Ryukyu (Okinawa) archipelago, has promising embedded natural-gas reserves.

If you were born and raised in the era symbolized by the Pearl Harbor Attack, your adulthood mode of thinking would be surely rooted in the mode of the era.

If you were born and raised in the era symbolized by the JFK Assassination, your adulthood mode of thinking would be surely rooted in the mode of the era.

If you were born and raised in the era symbolized by the Fall of the Berlin Walls, your adulthood mode of thinking would be surely rooted in the mode of the era.

If you were born and raised in the era symbolized by the 9/11 Attacks, your adulthood mode of thinking would be surely rooted in the mode of the era.

If you were born and raised in the era symbolized by the Lehman Shock, your adulthood mode of thinking would be surely rooted in the mode of the era.

Accordingly, views of Christians on economy are deeply connected with the era of the Roman Empire, since the Empire was the incubator for the religion Christianity:

Roman Economy

Roman people didn't have to just buy things that were made locally. Traders sailed across the Mediterranean Sea bringing papyrus from Egypt, glass from Phoenicia, pork sausage and salt from Austria, tin from England, fish sauce and cooking pots and dishes from North Africa, and olive oil from Spain. Even ordinary farmers could afford a lot of these things.

Some traders went even further, into the Indian Ocean or across West Asia, and traded with people in India or in West Asia to get Indian cotton, pepper, cinnamon and other spices, and even silk that came all the way from China. But these things were very expensive, and only very rich people could afford them.

Christianity grew in ancient Rome, watching global-scale riches flowing into the capital of the sole superpower in the Western World of the era.

Christianity might be a religion that can stand only in parallel with great global-scale wealth.

Conversely, as long as conventional Christianity flourishes, problems caused by global-scale wealth and Mammon might not be solved perfectly.

Yet, it is apparent that Christianity can be an effective basement for economics dealing with great fortunes and industry.

That is why no Japanese economists and professors have ever been awarded the Nobel Prize for economics while more than 40 Americans are.

No economists ever presented an idea or a scheme, say in the 17th or 18th century, that would realize today's economic situations of the world.

Economists, today regarded as a kind of hero on Wall Street and City, have been always useless in developing culture, society, economy, and historical movements of a nation.

It is rather various technologies and systems that have achieved today's success of the material economy.

Industrial Revolution

One question of active interest to historians is why the industrial revolution occurred in Europe and not in other parts of the world in the 18th century, particularly China, India, and the Middle East, or at other times like in Classical Antiquity[21] or the Middle Ages.[22] Numerous factors have been suggested, including education, "modern" government, "modern" work attitudes, ecology, and culture...

Some historians such as David Landes[25] and Max Weber credit the different belief systems in China and Europe with dictating where the revolution occurred. The religion and beliefs of Europe were largely products of Judaeo-Christianity, and Greek thought. Conversely, Chinese society was founded on men like Confucius, Mencius, Han Feizi (Legalism), Lao Tzu (Taoism), and Buddha (Buddhism). Whereas the Europeans believed that the universe was governed by rational and eternal laws, the East, believed that the universe was in constant flux and, for Buddhists and Taoists, not capable of being rationally understood.

As Japan, a non-Christian nation, succeeded in adopting Western technologies and science as well as European-invented systems so as to evolve into a global power in the early 20th century, other Asian countries and people got confidence in their future success which we see today in China, Korea, India and ASEAN nations as well as some Islamic nations.

To your astonishment, Europeans before the rise of Japan around 1900 believed that only Christian Europeans and Americans (or European races) had ability to develop modern economy and industry.

And, even today, Japan is the leading non-Christian country in the world.

Nonetheless, Christianity was a key to the industrial and economic revolution in Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Put simply, when Western Europe evolved and expanded along with its overseas activities to the level of the Roman Empire in functionality, its religion Christianity started to contribute to opening the gate for the industrial and economic revolution.

Yet, it is still a miracle for Japan to have swiftly caught up with Western Europe and America in this context.

"Send Men to Joppa, and Call for Simon"

(Tokyo, Japan's Administrative Capital for 400 Years)

They say that Major Hasan was reaching out to AlQaeda as found by electronic intercepts (though this tragic incident looks like a curse of Guantanamo).

The implication of this fact is very deep, since Former President Mr. George W. Bush predicted in the wake of the 9/11 Terror that the War on Terror would take a long-long time and years ahead.

Nonetheless the War on Terror would soon end if both the parties should give up their present interpretation of their Holy Book, respectively.

Anyway, you may find more impeccable business chances in Japan than in America, since Japan has in fact never had a war since WWII, although Japan has been on the U.N. Security Force side in the Korean War being suspended for decades.

There are two huge air fields, close to each other, in the middle of residential areas and business districts of the Okinawa Island, Japan.

One, the Kadena Air Base used by the U.S. Air Force, has two 4000-meter runways.

Another, the Futenma Air Field used by the U.S. Marin Corps, has a 9000-foot runway.

There are about 1,000 U.S. Army troops; 7,000 U.S. Air Force soldiers, and 15,000 U.S. marines in addition to many U.S. naval service-men and -women in Okinawa, Japan.

It is time to close the Futenma Air Field used by the U.S. Marine Corps for so long, while this base is apparently unnecessary for defense of Japan from China, North Korea, South Korea, and Russia.

An American scholar who married a Japanese and taught in Japan wrote some about religion and war in his Japanese Web site for educational purpose:

Religion and War

A Religion Joining War
1. Union
"We" believers (good) vs. "They" non-believers (evil)

2. Justice
Fractional citation from holy books and concoction

3. Loyalty
Regarding a leader as a god.

4. Threats
"They" are threatening "our" religion.

A Religion Standing against War
1. Union
Relationship with God is more important than "ourselves."

2. Justice
Resistance against war based on holy books.

3. Loyalty
Only for God

4. Threats
The gravest threat is distortion of creeds and doctrine.

To tell the truth, there is only one relationship between war and religion:
As there was a war, of whatever scale and sort, a religion, of whatever scale and sort, was needed for mankind.

If those being engaged in a war talk about any religion, you might laugh if you truly understand this relationship between war and religion, though you had better not, of course nowadays.

*** *** *** ***

I do not know how John Maynard Keynes positioned war and religion in his economics theory; but there have been no major nations in the world free from war and religion while all of them are thriving materially in this beginning of the 21st century.

In my theory, you cannot be a genius in economics unless you can be an expert in war and religion.

It is so, since war and religion can completely change or do away with a value system so prevailing before.

If you ever think that economics cannot be easy, you are intellectually sound; you will not launch any personal war with some handguns or any laughable religion with nonsense books in hand.

Praise the Lord peacefully, comrades!

Act 11:12 And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house:

Act 11:13 And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;

Act 11:14 Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.

Act 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

"I Heard a Voice Saying unto Me, Arise"

(Japanese Government on Holiday)

Everybody lives long and very long in Okinawa.

It is so, since it is the only major sub-tropical island of Japan.

The area used or occupied by the U.S. military on the Okinawa Island is colored blue in the following map. As the lateral width of the island is 10 miles or so, it is too much for Okinawa people to bear with.

First of all, since 1953 when a truce for the Korean War was arranged by the U.S., South Korea, and U.N. Security Forces with North Korea or since 1973 when U.S. troops left Vietnam putting an end to its Vietnam War, peace in East Asia has been mostly maintained by Japan's adherence to its peace constitution.

However, subject to the US-Japan security treaty, American troops are allowed to have bases in Japan.

Yet, as their bases in Okinawa are today threatening life and assets of Okinawa people, the treaty will have to undergo review.

Jesus Christ's teaching is, of course, intended to eradicate war from the world.

Yet, He said that the end of the world would surely come being accompanied by wars:

FAQ: Christians and the End of the World
A guide to beliefs about the End Times and Jesus' return.

What do Christians believe about the end of the world?

Nearly all Christians are taught that Jesus Christ will return in glory and reign eternally.
But beliefs differ about how this will happen. Many Catholics, liberal Protestants, and Orthodox Christians in the U.S. do not emphasize the end of the world.
What are the signs of the end of the world?

Many Christians cite Matthew 24, in which Jesus tells his disciples that certain events will herald the end of the world:

Wars and rumors of war
False prophets
A hardening of hearts

In the same chapter, Jesus also says that the Great Commission--his command to spread the Gospel to all the world--will be fulfilled before the end comes.

Citing Revelation 13, some Christians believe that an Antichrist will usher in the End Times.
Are Christians who believe in the End Times "rooting" for chaos and violence in the Middle East because they usher in the last days?

No. Most Christians who believe the last days are imminent would see increased wars and violence as inevitable but regrettable signs of the end of the world.

So, what is the "end of the world" then?

Tonight, NHK TV Station in Tokyo broadcast an interview held in the White House with President Mr. Barack Obama.

NHK boasted that it is the first interview with the president having been done by the Japanese media.

President Mr. Barack Obama stressed that he would surely visit Hiroshima at some point in his presidency.

Yet, it is a little interesting that Former President Ronald Reagan was not awarded the Nobel Peace Prize though he addressed in Berlin, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear this wall down!"

Act 11:7 And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.

Act 11:8 But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.

Act 11:9 But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

Act 11:10 And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.

Act 11:11 And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me.

"He that Cometh in the Name of the Lord"

(Something wrong on the Microsoft billboard?; A Kasumigaseki Street, Tokyo)

Now a Q&A session between ministers of the Hatoyama Cabinet and Upper House members of the Japanese National Diet is going on as televised nationwide from Tokyo.

A lawmaker of the Democratic Party of Japan (a ruling party) asked Foreign Minister Mr. Katsuya Okada what the minister thinks about the fact that the average life expectancy in Afghanistan is just 44 years.

Indeed, though Japan has already contributed two billion dollars and more to promotion of peace and welfare in Afghanistan, more efforts seem to be needed since only one of every four Afghans can read and write.

There are many U.S. military bases on the Okinawa Island of Japan.

The mainland Okinawa has a size (about 1200 square kilometers) almost equal to that of all Los Angeles City or all New York City including its huge harbor, while total U.S. military bases account for more than 20% of the gross area of Okinawa Prefecture.

Let's check how the U.S. military office in Okinawa shows their respect to this island of great battles during WWII.

The most controversial agenda now pestering the Japanese Government is whether they should raise an issue of relocation of a U.S. Marine base in Okinawa when President Mr. Barack Obama come to Tokyo coming Friday.

Office of the Spokesman
Washington, DC

United States-Japan Roadmap for Realignment Implementation

1. Realignment on Okinawa
(a) Futenma Replacement Facility (FRF)• The United States and Japan will locate the FRF in a configuration that combines the Henoko-saki and adjacent water areas of Oura and Henoko Bays, including two runways aligned in a "V"-shape, each runway having a length of 1,600 meters plus two 100-meter overruns. The length of each runway portion of the facility is 1,800 meters, exclusive of seawalls (see attached concept plan dated April 28, 2006). This facility ensures agreed operational capabilities while addressing issues of safety, noise, and environmental impacts.

• In order to locate the FRF, inclusive of agreed support facilities, in the Camp Schwab area, necessary adjustments will be made, such as reconfiguration of Camp Schwab facilities and adjacent water surface areas.

• Construction of the FRF is targeted for completion by 2014.

• Relocation to the FRF will occur when the facility is fully operationally capable.

• Facility improvements for contingency use at Air SDF bases at Nyutabaru and Tsuiki related to replacement of Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Futenma capabilities will be made, as necessary, after conducting site surveys and before MCAS Futenma is returned.

• Requirements for improved contingency use of civilian facilities will be examined in the context of bilateral contingency planning, and appropriate arrangements will be made in order to realize the return of MCAS Futenma.

• In principle, the construction method for the FRF will be landfill.

• The USG does not have a plan to operate fighter aircraft from this facility.

(b) Force Reductions and Relocation to Guam

This (simple or easy) statement of agreement lacks specifications of relocation costs for the Futenma Marine base, which is a key hidden issue for the Japanese Government.

Most importantly, the need for imminent move of the Marines Futenma installation is manifested in pictures posted in the following Japanese Web page:

The following are some examples how the Old Testament is associated with war:

Psalms 18:34 He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

Psalms 27:3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

Psalms 46:9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

Psalms 55:21 The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.

Psalms 68:30 Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.

Psalms 120:7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.

Psalms 140:2 Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.

Psalms 144:1 Blessed be the LORD my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:

Proverbs 20:18 Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.

Proverbs 24:6 For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.

This is the world and the era where war is inevitable business. Yet, God of Isralites or Hebrews never told His people to avoid war unconditionally.

God of Isralites or Hebrews let His people go to war if they thought it was inevitable for their survival and independece.

Late last night, a cable TV channel presented a documentary film on Mother Teresa's activities in Calcutta, India.

As you know, she died several days after the death of Princess Diana in September 1997.

It might be a mirabilia that there was no war between the two, though both were very famous ladies in the late 20th century.

Truly, in Japanese, they say that a rich person never has a fight with others (over trifles).

Yet, it is always poor youths that die in war in the Christian world and the Islamic world in addition to the Judaistic world.

Mar 11:8 And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.

Mar 11:9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:

Mar 11:10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
