"whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart" - Why the God Wants our Love

Why the God Wants our Love

If you don't believe that there is an afterlife and the spirit world where your spirit will go after death in this world, you should naturally think that you have to be rich and happy as much as possible while living in this world.

But almost all of those who have encountered a near-death-experience believe that there is an afterlife and the spirit world, so that they will come to less stick to worldly matters.

Most people who do not believe in the afterlife and the spirit world think that the reason for their living in this world is to become rich and happy as much as possible.  However, those who believe in the afterlife and the spirit world think that the reason for their living in this world is to make their spirits grow and advance as much as possible.

Satan wants people to want to be rich and happy as much as possible, since they will try to be rich and happy even by selling their souls to Satan so as to get help and support from Satan who can give them money and make them success in this world as it tempted Christ Jesus.  And when people sell their souls to Satan, they will follow Satan and go against the teaching of the God and Christ Jesus.

Even to those who want to spiritually grow and advance and avoid getting rich, Satan would send devils disguised as angels so as to confuse and lead them to wrong directions.  Indeed, the Gospels give a warning to be alert for false Jesus or saints.

So, it is far better to make one's spirit grow and advance than to try to be materially rich and happy while living in this world even if such life is not perfectly free from Satan.  But for what purpose are people living ultimately?  Some pious people might answer that a man is living to make others happy.

Put simply, the answer is in the Gospels: Christ Jesus said to love the God as much as possible and our neighbors like we loved ourselves.  Therefore, the purpose and the ultimate goal of our life is to love the God as much as possible and our neighbors as loving ourselves.

However, there are two important issues: why the God created men for such purpose and how we can love our neighbors who have sold their souls to Satan.

Anyway, to try to make our spirits grow and advance must be one way to show our love to the God.  If our spirits are fully enlightened, we should be able to understand why the God wants our love (for this reason, Christ Jesus told to love the God as much as possible), for which the God created men.

Luke 9, King James Version
9 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
3 And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.
4 And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart.
5 And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.

"Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee" - Holy Men's Autobiographies Should Include the States of the Fight against Satan

Holy Men's Autobiographies Should Include the States of the Fight against Satan

Ignatius of Loyola (1491 – 1556), a Spanish Basque Catholic priest and theologian, who together with Peter Faber and Francis Xavier founded the religious order called the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) and became its first Superior General at Paris in 1541 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ignatius_of_Loyola#Bibliography), wrote about his spiritual experiences in his autobiography.

In the book, he mentioned Satan and its temptation.  Ignatius found that Satan's temptation came in the form of worshipfulness, providing spiritual consolation and illumination to him.  He also saw many eyes in a beautiful figure who was Satan.

It was 1500 years after the crucifixion of Christ Jesus that Ignatius lived.  The religion Christianity had developed in various aspects and domains in its contents, generating various theories and interpretations of theology.  Along with this development, Satan's strategies against the God and Christ Jesus also advanced to deeper levels and multifaceted directions.  Satan took more complicated tactics than those used against Christ Jesus in the wilderness.  There must have been many influences of Satan even in the Vatican by the era of Ignatius.

So, you should not simply trust in outwardly pious priests or preachers.  You should also remember that Satan has more than two eyes, so that it can see you from different dimensions or angles.  Indeed, if Satan disguised as a faithful man and took access to you with a harmful intention when and where you did not expect it, you would be helpless against the attack unless the God sent angels to you to protect you.

Especially, Satan will use someone you love as its tool to attack you.  Satan will brainwash people around you to make them believe that they are doing a right thing or executing justice when they are attacking you.  Christ Jesus said that angels would come from the God to you when and where you did not expect.  Likewise, Satan can attack you beyond your expectation.

As Ignatius' autobiography includes his state of the fight against Satan, he can be really trusted, sine the Gospels include the fight of Crist Jesus against Satan from the wilderness to Jerusalem.

Matthew 9, King James Version
9 And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.
2 And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
3 And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?
5 For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?
6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
7 And he arose, and departed to his house.

"as Jesus passed by, he saw a man" - Battles between Christ Jesus and Satan even in the Spirit World

Battles between Christ Jesus and Satan even in the Spirit World

According to the Bible (Act 1), Christ Jesus declared that power would come upon His followers after they receive the Holy Ghost:
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
As a result, Christianity has survived 2,000 years after the crucifixion of Christ Jesus.  It must not be possible without power from Heaven.

One example is the case of Ignatius of Loyola (1491 – 1556), a Spanish Basque Catholic priest and theologian, who together with Peter Faber and Francis Xavier founded the religious order called the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) and became its first Superior General at Paris in 1541 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ignatius_of_Loyola).

Ignatius wrote that he had experienced near-death-experiences more than three times and he had grown spiritually each time.  This spiritual growth after a near-death-experience has been told by many who had this experience even today.

But, Ignatius got power to understand almost everything when he was walking along a river in deep religious thought about spiritual matters, faith, and academic matters and sat on the bank below which water flowed.  He felt that his intellectual power was illuminated.  Then, he prayed to the God at a cross standing nearby.  And, he saw a certain spiritual beautiful body before him that he had seen before many times.  But, now he could clearly see that this beautiful body came from Satan.  So, he drove it out by wielding a stick.

This episode tells that you need power to clearly see Satan and fight against it.  And, for this purpose, Christ Jesus should send spiritual power from Heaven.  This power is not given through near-death-experiences that might enhance some spiritual power of those who had such an experience.  It is thought that St. Paul also got it while he was traveling to Damascus.  You cannot tell when Christ Jesus sent such power to those He selected.

The most important thing is that the fight against Satan is the central issue for everybody.  Put extremely, Christ Jesus came to this world to fight against Satan.  Indeed, every evil in this world comes from Satan.  To save the mankind means to fight against Satan and defeat it.  As Christ Jesus defeated Satan, He can save the mankind.  And, Christ Jesus has given power to defeat Satan to his followers in these 2000 years, one example of which is the case of Ignatius of Loyola.

Near-death-experiences give some healing power and other various spiritual power to those who have survived such experiences, but the power to defeat Satan should be given by Christ Jesus without such experiences.  Indeed, Satan uses evil spirits to give some spiritual power to those who have sold their souls to Satan.  But, Christ Jesus gives power to defeat Satan to faithful men.  The battles between Christ Jesus and Satan must continue even in the spirit world.

John 9, King James Version
9 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

"till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power" - The Fight against Satan through Access to the Afterlife or the Spirit World

The Fight against Satan through Access to the Afterlife or the Spirit World

Over the change of centuries, it seems that the mankind have come to strengthen the concern about the afterlife or the spirit world.

It started with Raymond Moody (1944-) with his book "Life after Life" focusing on near-death experiences and Elisabeth Kübler-Ross (1926 – 2004) with her various books on death and dying.  Both have experienced spiritual phenomena.

Although, the the afterlife and the spirit world are assured in the Gospels and the words of Christ Jesus, in this modern era where people do not much think of Christ Jesus, His words and the teachings of the Bible, their works have made people think of spiritual matters anew.

Raymond Moody came to believe in the existence of the afterlife through checking results of his collection of near-death experiences from hundreds of people who fell in fatal diseases or met fatal accidents.  Elisabeth Kübler-Ross took care of more than 1,000 dying patients in hospitals and examined the process of dying to firmly believe that there are the afterlife and the spirit world.

However, there is warning in the Bible on spiritual entities:
1 John 4
4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Matthew 24
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Not only death and life is the crucial issue in the Bible but also the fight against Satan is.  Christ Jesus wants people to know that poor men will enter into Heaven but rich men will fall into the hell.  In other words, Christ Jesus wants people to realize that there is the afterlife and the spirit world.  And, Satan must not mind if people realize the existence of the spirit world.

Rather, Satan must try to send its followers to the spirit world after their death in this world as many as possible to fight against the God and Christ Jesus.  Satan must also try to send evil spirits pretending to be angels into this world or among living people so as to influence or deceive people.

Indeed, Moody's work to develop a mechanism where spirits of deceased men are invoked has not become widely accepted and successful.  Kübler-Ross once relied on a spirit medium who was eventually turned out to be an evil man when she wanted to see her guardian spirits.  They have not tried to establish communications with spiritual entities from their belief in Christ Jesus or the God, but they took access to spiritual matters and the spirit world rather from their standpoints as medical doctors without fully keeping guard on evil spirits, demons, and Satan.

Nonetheless, it is a great undertaking that they have opened eyes of people to the afterlife and the spirit world through their sincere work in the medical field.  Now, roughly speaking, two thirds of Americans believe in the afterlife, the spirit world, and existence of spiritual entities.  And, a majority of Japanese seem to admit spiritual phenomena and supernatural events.  Indeed, the 21st century will be the century featured by spiritual or supernatural phenomena.

Yet, the most important issue for men is the fight against Satan like in the case of Christ Jesus.  The access to the afterlife and the spirit world should be based on this notion: the fight against Satan.

2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.
3 And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.
4 And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.
