"who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions"

(All Around Tokyo. Something you cannot give a kick to.)

Tangible vs. Intangible Domains

Rich people working around the Wall Street and City found that there was a virtual world built by the Internet and other IT technologies.

They realized that the financial sector could advance and deploy in the virtual world.

By becoming frontiers in this movement, they, mostly Anglo Saxon ultra rich men, multiplied their financial assets.

However, if Microsoft, Intel, and Google were all Japanese companies and computer software codes could be written in Japanese so conveniently based on technical standards specified by mostly Japanese businesses, Japanese economy would grow at a 10% rate leveraging the virtual world.

It is a framework that matters. Japan should leave a paradigm formed through the success in the industrial, physical domain built up in the 20th century.

America would still continue to prosper fairly relying on its military, financial, and energy sectors, but strong warnings have been given repeatedly from Heaven.

So, it is a spiritual matter that matters in deploying in a new framework.

SECTION I: Key to Japan's Future Growth: The English Internet?

It is truly amazing that Japan is the No.3 country in terms of the number of Internet users (as of 2007), while China has a 1300 million population, the U.S. has 300 million, and Japan has 125 million.

It is also quite amazing that Japanese is the No.4 language in terms of the amount of usage over the Internet (as of the end of 2009), while there are so many English speakers, Chinese speakers, and Spanish speakers, each in different countries, who also use the Internet all over the world, while the Japanese language is only used in Japan roughly speaking.

http://www.internetworldstats.com/stats7.htm

It is apparent that the future of Japan consists in this peculiarity of Japan and Japanese. If Japan achieves an annual 4% growth, the key to success is all the more in the Internet or the IT technology.

Japan must more appreciate the merit and advantage of its own language, which allows for such great deployment of the Internet in the general society. But, it must also correctly correspond to the global mainstream, enhancing its ability in communications in English through any channels, including the Internet.

Chinese will have to learn and use English and Japanese if it continues to grow keeping some quality. It is not difficult for Chinese people to learn both English and Japanese. Their language has affinity with English as a spoken language as well as with Japanese as a written language.

But, for Japanese with such a uniquely advanced mother language, it is ironically not easy to learn other low-tire or wild language such as English.

For ordinary Chinese, the Chinese traditional culture does not mean anything so binding on themselves. They do not identify themselves at the core of their consciousness with the traditional culture. They identify themselves with the Chinese style of living. This difference is not so explicitly large, but decisive. Riding on the culture irresponsibly or blindly is different from continuing to input a spirit and seeds into it as a person in charge if self-appointed. No Chinese look like sacrificing their life in order to enhance their traditional culture. It is partly because a majority of the Chinese are simply too poor and too poorly educated, and noble classes of China who in a great pride developed the Chinese Civilization till the 20th century had long gone. Though today's Chinese adhere to being a kind of successors of the great ancient Chinese Civilization, most of Chinese do not find codes, norm, or value so binding in the tradition, in comparison with material success under any conditions, including the Communist ruling state and the Western dominant globalization.

But, for Japanese living in a tradition that the most people, from farmers, samurais, to noble people, have contributed to development of the Japanese culture, the Japanese unique culture that has made Japan the No.2 nation in the world has a more influence or restrictive power on them. Being Japanese does not mean that he looks like a Japanese but that he is under a critical influence of the Japanese culture and tradition. As this influence is so strong that most of Japanese cannot build an English-speaking function in their mind, no matter how many English words they might learn by heart.

Yet, computers and the Internet belong to the English-speaking domain (while China cannot lead the world in the modern cultural competition though Japan has some influence though inconspicuous).

In this context, a future 4% growth of Japan depends on how Japanese people will cultivate a skill to handle English and communicate in English over the Internet, while keeping the Japanese culture and the merit of the Japanese language. English-based Internet activities by Japanese users must be supported by the fundamental Japanese culture which only can promise success for Japan and the Japanese people in future, too. It is so since Japan already achieved what it could do to the utmost in the 20th century type of industry.

Nonetheless, it is not so easy.

It involves a matter of religion. That is why Japanese must at least study Christianity in earnest.

SECTION II: Interest of America

Who decides the national interest of America?

In a broader historical view, voters in 2008 decided that it met the American interest to elect Mr. Barack Obama as president, since those voters believed that they constituted the right part of America and they had a right to choose even a minority African American if the George-W.-Bush type of elites could not serve them well.

Accordingly, reformation is going on in the medical/insurance sector and the financial sector with whatever outcome and effect as well as in management of the War on Terror.

The BP offshore oil rig accident in the Gulf of Mexico would be related to this agenda: Who defines the national interest of America?

Not all the non-rich in America want to be rich like those rich of today who have sacrificed so many others in the War on Terror and the Wall Street Shock. "The rich are probably not right Christians any more," they must think in the bottom of their mind.

Even non-rich men can enjoy their own life style in America. But, they need assurance that rich people and elites would not harm their view on the world, sharing the same idea on the American value.

But if this belief that the American national interest is pursued by elites in Washington D.C. and New York very properly for all the Americans has vanished away from the mind of a majority of non-rich people, another change should occur in America.

I think it can be an underlying theme in the 2012 Presidential Election.

It has been triggered violently by the 9/11 Terror, financially the 9/15 Lehman Shock, and environmentally the 4/20 BP Rig Accident, but it would progress to a spiritual or a philosophical domain of the American people.

A new change will be pursued with an agenda not only in terms of security, economy, and environment but also in terms of the American spirit.

Indeed, as those without a right American spirit have decided what the American interest is for so long, poor and non-rich Americans are still being sacrificed.

Accordingly, this movement must be first manifested in who will be chosen as candidates for the presidential election in 2012.

I saw a young woman riding on a bicycle with a cellular phone on the one hand.

While waiting for the signal to change, she said to the phone, "That one is nothing in my emotional world."

She is angry with somebody, so that she denies the person in her mind. (What is peculiar is that she restricted the matter in her emotional world, which may be not so bad objectively and socially.)

If she can draw a distinction between her emotional world and the world governed by the God, she would not be involved in any violent accident, no matter how casual she looks.

So, the sky was covered by gray clouds all over around Tokyo.

It may be time for me to go and see a sea, since you can reach a seaside travelling over 100 or 200 km from any point on the Japanese Island.

Dan 6:25 Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.

Dan 6:26 I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.

Dan 6:27 He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

Dan 6:28 So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.

"Woe unto you that are full! "

(The Tokyo Tree Tower to Replace the Tokyo Tower in a year or two...)

Walking Dreams

Italy has gone. France was gone. Greece had been gone.

Germany is clinging on to its survival with so many red and yellow cards.

England has no auras, though Americans are lucky, as is usual, even in South Africa.

Yet, so disappointing are Africans. Are they going to be gone with former colonialists from Europe?

Anyway, great are Latin Americans and Japanese/Koreans.

So, I would say, "Look at the Iberian player. The ball followed him into the goal!"

Indeed, there is a sense of Arabs or Muslims to Iberians, even today.

By the way, Paraguay is on the opposite side to Japan around the globe, with almost the same land size, though with a far smaller population.

Japan vs. Paraguay is scheduled on the next Tuesday (in case that you have somebody in Japan to contact at the night of June 29th).

SECTION I: What Countries Respect Japan

Country:....Ratio of Japan Respecting People
--------------------------------------------
The Philippine:...77%
Indonesia:...71
Brazil:...70
Kenya:...68
Chile:...67
Thailand:...66
Nigeria:...66
USA:...65
Korea:...64
Australia:...59
Canada:...59
Russia:...58
UK:...57
Egypt:...54
Central America:...54
Ghana:...53
Germany:...50
France:...48
Italy:...47
Portugal:...43
Spain:...42
Azerbaijan:...41
Turkey:...34
India:...33
Mexico:...31
China:...29
Pakistan:...25
---------------------------

The above data shows that 77% of Filipinos respect Japan or give higher credit to Japan.

Though North Korea is out of question, the Chinese Government is still teaching its people to hate Japan, while other neighboring countries, the U.S., South Korea, and Russia have many citizens who respect Japan as a percentage of a whole population.

So, I can predict that the 21st century or the coming era is a century for Asia Pacific nations, South American nations, and maybe Africa.

I am afraid to say that the E.U., the Middle East, ans South Asia must wait for another era.

Indeed, you can trust those who respect Japan more than those who deny Japan in various fields, such as religion, culture, politics, economy, business, and sports.

SECTION II: Japan 3-1 Denmark

When the 2002 World Cup Soccer Matches were held in Japan and South Korea, I bought some lighters.

They are on my desk these days.

*** *** *** ***

The Japanese media and most of TV channels have repeatedly referred to and showed the three goals the Samurai Blue made in the match with Denmark.

However, it was a Brazilian manager that led Japanese players in the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

It was a French manager that led Japanese players in the 2002 World Cup in Japan/South Korea.

Yet, it was the very Japanese Takeshi Okada that led Japanese players in the 1998 World Cup in France just like he is doing in South Africa now.

And, very interestingly, Japan could not win the final in the Asian stage of the 1994 World Cup matches, since Iraq made a miracle heading goal during added time. Iraq went to America for the 1994 World Cup matches.

No one in Iraq must have been able to dream that he would be able to enjoy freedom and democracy 10 years and more later.

Anyway, history is truly there even in its detail.

Luk 6:23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

Luk 6:24 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.

Luk 6:25 Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.

Luk 6:26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

"Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles"

(Captain Tokyo So High!; click to enlarge; Tokyo Tree Tower at 398 m or 1306 feet as it has been still under construction.)

Dream Days or Dreamy Days

One night recently, a very prominent Japanese politician appeared in my dream.

To my surprise, he was friendly to me.

But, other night recently, a very prominent foreign agency appeared in my dream.

To my surprise, they were not friendly to me.

I might have to be careful in dealing with a Japanese agency and a foreign prominent politician.

SECTION I: Soccer and Election

At 03:30 a.m., Friday, on June 25, Japan Standard Time, the Japanese team is to meet the Denmark team in South Africa.

I don't know how many people here in Japan will watch the live broadcast tonight or before dawn.

But, it is a big event for the Japanese people like for Danes.

However, it is very interesting that the official announcement of the Upper-House election is coincidentally heralded today in Japan.

SECTION II: Which Will Win?

The Japan's Upper House has 242 members. Every three year, 121 lawmakers who have completed their 6-year term are renewed through an election.

For the ruling camp led by the DPJ to maintain a majority, namely 122 seats, it needs to have 56 candidates elected in this 7/11-2010 election.

Before Former P.M. Mr. Yukio Hatoyama resigned a few weeks ago, it was predicted by most of critics and journalists that the ruling DPJ and its allied parties would win only less than 40 seats, meaning a big defeat.

But, now with controversial ex-political hero Mr. Yukio Hatoyama and Mr. Ichiro Ozawa (former Director General of the DPJ) having left key positions, the DPJ led by P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan is expected to win more seats. But how many?

If they should not be able to maintain a majority in the Upper House despite overwhelming advantage in the Lower House, the ruling camp will have to invite other minor party or parties into a new coalition.

The threshold number is 56. Can P.M. Mr. Kan win 56 seats?

I think it will be less than 50, specifically around 48.

If it should be around 45, current head of the DPJ Mr. Naoto Kan would have to face a tough situation after the election toward the party convention in September where a new head is to be elected as it is the legitimate end of the term of former head Mr. Hatoyama since Mr. Kan replaced Mr. Hatoyama on a temporary base.

But, it will be not so easy that the former ruling party LDP, so pro-American, to exceed the DPJ in terms of elected seats. Yet, if the LDP led by Lower-House lawmaker Mr. Sadakzu Tanigaki cannot win at least one third, namely 40, of the seats up for re-election it is a kind of crisis for conservative people in Japan.

Three years ago, the liberal DPJ won 60 seats in the Upper-House election, and the conservative LDP 37 as a precursor to the 30-8-2009 quasi-revolutionary general election.

Yet, it is said that a real trend will be only fixed just two days before the voting date.

Anyway, the despotic-state North Korea-friendly DPJ with so many amateur-class politicians should not be allowed to get more arrogant with any victory.

SECTION III: 4% Economic Growth

Dubai built more than 60 building, each taller than 700 feet, leveraging $550 billion investments from overseas, though it has now $85 billion deficits.

If Japan grows at a 4% rate per year, its GDP will increase by $240 billion (= $6 trillion x 0.04).

It means Japan will have 25 buildings, each taller than 700 feet, per year in the land size almost equal to that of California State, while the flatland accounts for only 30% or so of the whole Japanese land.

Taking into consideration environmental conditions and 125 million population of Japan (3.5 times larger than California's), this 4% growth translated into a Dubai-size development per two years cannot be sustained in Japan even for four to six years, since it will destroy the nature unbearably.

All the Japan's rivals, that is, the U.S., the E.U., China, and even Canada, Australia, Russia, India, and Brazil, have a 20 times or more larger land size each. They can absorb a Dubai-size development per two to four years. But Japan cannot.

This is the most fundamental reason for the Japan's low growth rate since 1990's, which no economists in the world can insightfully interpret.

No Japanese politicians either so far have been able to offer a solution.

The LDP could not, so that they lost power in the 30-8-2009 election.

The DPJ seems to be unable, so that it must be checked in the 11-July-2010 election.

*** *** *** ***

Now, leaders of political parties have started to address voters on the street in Japan.

All I want to say is: "If you cannot help your neighbours, you have to make the government do in lieu of you. Who in the name of you will help your poor neighbours?"

Anyway, happy P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan with his classical wife has started to fly to Canada for the G8 Summit.

I hope that the Japanese prime misiter will discuss the Afghan issue with the American president.

Joh 6:23 (Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanks:)

Joh 6:24 When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.

Joh 6:25 And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither?

Joh 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.

"and leap for joy"

(Tokyo Tree Tower Yet to Full Elevation; click to enlarge; "That's Captain Tokyo?? Heading for 7/11??")

SECTION I: Japan's 7/11 Upper-House Election

The July 11th, Sunday, is the day for the final at Johannesburg, South Africa, in the 2010 World Cup Soccer Matches.

In Japan, it will be the voting day of the 22nd Upper House election where candidates for half of 242 members of the house undergo judgement by voters.

The world paid a strong attention, as a rare case, to the Japanese politics last summer due to the regime change from a very-pro American conservative government to a pro-Chinese liberal one. It was however the Lower-House election for 480 seats that realized the regime change pulling up the Democratic Party of Japan to power. This time, the concern is on whether the DPJ can further gain a foothold as it replaced a few weeks ago unpopular Former Prime Minister Mr. Yukio Hatoyama with a little cleaner new P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan.

But, what people in the world should understand about Japan now is that for the first in half a century, Japan has a real liberal prime minister with a socialist mind set. He has never joined the very-pro American conservative Liberal Democratic Party in his 30-year career in the national politics, though he has never acted as a violent revolutionist.

Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan has however no experiences in real business. He has no social experiences since his graduation from the Tokyo Institute of Technology except ones as a liberal civil activist. He looks like being an ambitious politician with justification for his activities in complying with value of anti-conservatism.

For example, there are some Japanese who tie up with anti-whaling foreign activists. Those Japanese do not love whales especially but hate Japanese traditions and conservative people or the establishment. They are a kind of ideologically brain-washed Japanese. Accordingly, those anti-whaling Japanese look like crooked men and women to the eye of most of Japanese, since Japanese whaling is based on the Japanese tradition.

(It is truly laughable that some anti-Japanese big media companies in America are bringing up and praising those crooked anti-whaling Japanese, since they have no grounds and roots in the main and sub-main Japanese communities. American anti-whaling activists are a kind of engaged in the anti-Japanese business. But Japanese activists are a kind of socialists of an old Soviet-Union's spy type.)

P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan is, however, not a crooked one. He is more balanced, respecting commonsense. Yet, those crooked anti-whaling Japanese support Mr. Kan. Those who write "a man should not hate others" on their site while using every expression of hatred against their enemies, namely ordinal Japanese who support whaling, on the same site are supporting liberal P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan. It is not good. Mr. Naoto Kan should be rather denied together with those crooked anti-whaling Japanese than being respected for the purpose of defending the Japanese traditional culture.

Anyway, Japanese politicians can be judged with three measures: conservativeness or anti-crooked ideology, respect for traditional value, expertise in any advanced field.

For P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan,
Anti-Crooked Ideology: 50
Traditional Value: 70
Expertise: 20
TOTAL: 140/300

For LDP President Mr. Sadakazu Tanigaki,
Anti-Crooked Ideology: 80
Traditional Value: 80
Expertise: 30
TOTAL: 190/300

Yet, there is another measure: anti-ultrarich
For P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan,
Anti-Crooked Ideology: 50
Traditional Value: 70
Expertise: 20
Anti-Ultrarich: 70
TOTAL: 210/400

For LDP President Mr. Sadakazu Tanigaki,
Anti-Crooked Ideology: 80
Traditional Value: 80
Expertise: 30
Anti-Ultrarich: 10
TOTAL: 200/400

That is why the regime change occurred in the summer of 2009, though Mr. Kan and Mr. Tanigaki were not the top leaders of the two major parties, respectively, on August 30, 2009 when the quasi-revolutionary general election was held in Japan.

To choose candidates for the coming national election, it might be also better to introduce another measure: anti-antisocial organization.

For a certain female DPJ candidate,
Anti-Crooked Ideology: 70
Traditional Value: 80
Expertise: 10
Anti-Ultrarich: 10
Anti-antisocial organization: 10
TOTAL: 180/500

For a certain female LDP candidate,
Anti-Crooked Ideology: 80
Traditional Value: 75
Expertise: 85
Anti-Ultrarich: 30
Anti-antisocial organization: 80
TOTAL: 350/500

So, Japanese voters might support LDP female candidates more than DPJ female candidates, in general, this time.

(For Captain Tokyo,
Anti-Crooked Ideology: 100
Traditional Value: 90
Expertise: 90
Anti-Ultrarich: 100
Anti-antisocial organization: 100
TOTAL: 480/500)

"and the end everlasting life"

SECTION I: Brookings Institution

The lost decade of Japan prompted to serious study many American intellectual elites, including Former President Mr. Bill Clinton, Former Secretary Mr. Lawrence Summers, Former Chairman Mr. Alan Greenspan, and so on who all could not eventually find what the real situation of Japan was at a true academic level but started foolishly to praise China and visit China so often as if suddenly finding another enemy to Japan, while soiling or almost cursing Japan's tremendous success in the human history as a non-Christian/European nation.

One example of such study from Brookings Institution is as below:
----------
1 The Policy Trap

As Japan enters its twelfth consecutive year of economic stagnation, it has begun to dawn on the world that something peculiar is going on...

This is not the first time, of course, that Japan has puzzled the world. Indeed, the country has been something of an enigma ever since the “little land of topsy-turvy” emerged out of a rosy mist of geishas and cherry blossoms to crush the Russian navy in 1905. In more recent times the country posted the most phenomenal record of economic growth in history while violating virtually every single tenet of Western economic orthodoxy...

Therein lies the significance of the information in figure 1-4—for otherwise, this information is little more than a tautology. The great majority of Japan’s claims on the rest of the world are denominated in U.S. dollars, mostly because Japan’s external trade is conducted largely in dollars....That helps explain the persistence of an undervalued yen in the face of record current account surpluses.

...
But Japan is the world’s second-largest economy, not because Japan can extract extortionate rents but because over the past half-century the Japanese have built the most wholly integrated industrial structure on earth. Japan still outclasses the rest of the world in cost control, product quality, and technological sophistication in a number of centrally important finished goods—most notably automobiles—as well as a wide range of upstream product segments. Japanese companies have to rely on foreigners only for commodities, aircraft, and cutting-edge computer, information technology (IT), and Internet-related products for which they, in turn, provide components that no one else makes.

This situation has been the implied goal of Japanese economic policy since the late nineteenth century—the building of an industrial structure that would reduce reliance on foreigners to the bare minimum. And while Japan has faltered in the last decade in the IT arena, that should not disguise its overall success in reaching its goal. But that success has landed Japan in a trap. As all the hand wringing over a recent shrinking of the current account surplus demonstrates, the trap itself is not understood, not to mention any realistic means of escape...

http://www.brookings.edu/~/media/Files/Press/Books/2002/japanspolicytrap/japanspolicytrap_chapter.pdf
----------

So, no American elites understood anything at a true academic level.

Japan has supported the value of the dollar all through the lost decade and decades. Even when Japan tried to establish the yen zone in Asia in 1990's, the Clinton Administration determinedly destroyed the scheme to protect the American hegemony and the value of the dollar.

What's more, in the Asian financial crisis in late 1990's, Japan again tried to establish the East Asian economic/financial zone with ASEAN nations which the Clinton Administration determinedly destroyed to protect the American hegemony and the value of the dollar.

It is not a pure currency issue, a pure monetary issue, a pure financial or economic issue that works between Japan and the U.S. It is a political and security issue that dominates the psychology of responsible experts and politicians of Japan and the U.S. While American economists have never been taught historical significance of this truth.

In one word, Japan and the U.S. are still in the aftermath of WWII which American economists have never realized.

It is not history of WWII that American economists do not know. They do not know how China today came to be established militarily, how China today came to be governed politically, and how China today developed in terms of technology and business through 1970's, 1980's, 1990's, and 2000's. East Asia is very different from East Coast, West Coast, or Europe, since a majority of people there never respect American Christian priests, for one easy example, or have no sense of community with American Judaists only because they are Judaists.

But, what they have praised China on is only money but not its historical efforts to develop the political/economic systems, science, and technology, but only on money accumulated through trade with Japan and the U.S. by foreign-invested businesses in China.

At least those American elites know that China has just secondary glory in terms of developing the political/economic systems, science, and technology in comparison with Japan. Indeed, Japanese experts taught Chinese how to build a modern iron mill, a car plant, a semiconductor foundry, etc. through 1970's and 2000's.

So, what American elites have praised China on is only money accumulated through trade with Japan and the U.S. by foreign-financed businesses in China.

Without deep understanding of history and culture of Japan and China, no American elites can explain well what the decades-long deflation of Japan is.

In a wider historical view, Japan has helped Taiwan, Korea, and China by sacrificing possible further enrichment of the Japanese society, significance of which no American elites can understand, since they are a kind of the Mafia.

SECTION II:

Now France 0-2 South Africa at 14 minutes in the second half.

But, more shocking was: North Korea 0-7 Portugal.

It is truly the Heavenly punishment on North Korea.

North Korea must immediately release Japanese citizens abducted by spies of North Korea in these decades.

But, China might be more responsible as it was not qualified for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

In addition, FIFA should have invited Haiti as a special entry.

Rom 6:21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

"It is I; be not afraid"

(New Tokyo Symbol from 2012)

Gangsters on National Economy and Sport

Sumo wrestling is regarded as a Japanese national sport.

However, it has been unearthed that many sumo wrestlers have a tie with organized criminals and gangsters through gambling. The Japanese Government should stop providing special support and admitting special status to the sumo sector.

However, as economists and rich people in Japan are enjoying a life without a fear of losing their jobs and money while sacrificing poor workers (partly due to inability and incompetence of economists and rich people), the Japanese Government should stop providing special support and admitting special status to those privileged people in terms of economy and economics.

If the Government cannot do it while shouting a new stupid slogan of a "5% tax rise," another regime change is needed if within the ruling parties.

I will tell you one thing that even a dangerous gangster would pull up the weeds before a devil leads him to a violent showdown. Check them in pulling up the weeds!

SECTION I: Conclusion of a Genius Economist

A Japanese economist who thinks he is a genius got a conclusion about solution to Japanese financial deficit problem, since the government debts have sored to a $9 trillion level, twice larger than Japan's GDP.

His conclusion is that Japanese economy should grow at 4%. Then everything will be alright, since old government bonds will be replaced by new bonds with minor expenses for interest payment. In this model, a growth rate and an interest rate will be balanced.

He also awkwardly wrote that it is the private sector and businesses that can realize this. It is as if a data specialist in a government agency had suddenly discovered reality behind data.

Anyway, this is his final finding after long study on Japanese economy using various mathematical formulae and economics theories and relying on his research experiences in America.

Japanese economy should grow at 4% with efforts of businesses to solve all the financial problems the Government faces.

Unfortunately he is yet to study why the Japanese economy stopped to grow at 4% during 1990's.

People call it deflation. I call it the Chinese effect. But, it is mainly Japanese investments into China through 1970's to 1990's that have caused this Chinese effect.

In this state of the Japanese deflation, no big businesses in Japan went bankrupt like GM. But, most of them have grown like Toyota.

In this state of the Japanese deflation, no rich men in Japan came to lose money like subprime loan lenders. But, a number of rich men has increased.

So, for Japanese businesses and Japanese rich men, the rise of China has turned to another source of wealth like for most of rich men in America.

As a certain Japanese genius economist writes, a 4% economic growth is a must for poor Japanese, ordinary Japanese, and the Japanese Government.

But, as reality is wiser than economics, there is a plenty of reason that the state of deflation with a growth rate less than 4% is very convenient and profitable for rich Japanese and Japanese businesses who control politicians and tie up with elite bureaucrats. They must think that a future financial catastrophe should happen after their death while their grandchildren become rich enough to get rid of its influence.

The genius economist is an ex-elite bureaucrat who worked together with notable economist Mr. Heizo Takenaka and ex-Prime Minister Mr. Junichiro Koizumi in early 2000's or so.

And, it seems that as the genius economist, actually Mr. Yoichi Takahashi, looks like wiser than Mr. Takenaka and Mr. Koizumi, it is time for everybody to study economy while forgetting everything they have ever learnt in the University of Tokyo and Harvard University.

If there are two GMs and two Toyotas in the U.S., prices of cars will become one fourth along with a salary level and a tax revenue level, which is called deflation as seen in Japan which is directly connected to factories in China as if inside Japan.

SECTION II: How to Realize 4% Growth

There are several factors that prevent the Japanese economy from growing at 4%:

1) The Japanese nature will be irreversibly destroyed if 4% growth continues for several years following current industrial and consumer practices.

2) Japanese consumers have already enough goods, products, and appliances in their homes. Yet, a bigger house or a high-grade condominium is a little too expensive for ordinary workers.

3) Chinese effect-driven deflation has ever lowering a salary level for ordinary workers.

4) General consumers have no trust in banking companies so that they do not invest much into venture business with a help from the financial sector.

5) Rich people simply go abroad to get what they want that satisfies their vanity rather than help domestic businesses promote sales and business of related services.

6) As the Government has lost confidence among the people due to the failed management of pension funds by public officials, most of people would not spend much while saving much for retirement.

7) Older people, a major group that has huge assets in society, who experienced poverty after WWII have less motivation to buy something more and invest into something new, since the Government has never introduced an incentive policy for this purpose.

8) Foolish economists are making students in economics more foolish so that nothing effective is produced in the academic circle.

9) The Chinese high growth rate is more attractive for Japanese businesses, investors and rich men for assured returns, so that they do not mind deflation and a weak economic growth in Japan, while they can buy anything of high quality at a cheaper price in the Japanese market.

Indeed, as a lost decade and lost decades are making richer a majority of rich Japanese, the Japanese economy grows at 2%, making poor Japanese and the Japanese Government poorer.

But, it is safe for Japan not to pursue a 4% growth but to get content with a current 1 to 2% growth unless wise politicians and sound economists emerge. To keep the society stable and safe, the current low-key economic state is not so bad and dangerous.

However, from a historical point of view, it is time to think about a safe and educational 4% growth of the Japanese economy without destroying its nature and culture.

Any evidence will not be missed by a kind of Angel who is always prepared to exercise his power to eliminate enemies of the God from the surface on the earth.

Gangsters of any sort must be disposed as enemies of the God before they have become richer.

Now, incidentally, a South African fortune teller said that Japan would win the coming match with Denmark 1-0, though he said Japan would draw in the match with Holland. Japan might tie with Denmark, despite my prediction, though, to be qualified to the 16-team tournament.

Joh 6:18 And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.

Joh 6:19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.

Joh 6:20 But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.

Joh 6:21 Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.

Tokyo Tree Tower Under Construction

I suppose that Japan would fight four matches in total during this FIFA's World Cup 2010 but would win only two games, which means Japan will be forced to leave this quadrennial football event at the first stage of the final tournament like in 2002.

The winner of this series in South Africa will be Argentina or the Neatherlands, in my individual opinion, which means soccer cannot change the world.

After this globally televised sports event, we will have the midterm election in the U.S. and the Upper-House election in Japan, which will influence future mutual engagement in solving financial problems of both the countries. Depending on results, each might find that a chance of success in such cooperation is so slim, making the global situations more complex.

So for the time being, it is a happy moment for soccer fans now, if they are Japanese politicians or American ones.

In addition, I do not think BP will completely fail in August, though, with only two new wells for such a potentially unmeasurable disaster.

Likewise, if foot-and-mouth diseases ended with 200,000 pigs and cows executed in Japan, inexperienceness of the DPJ Cabinet might be tested again with another large-scale crisis.

Put extremely, in 2013, we may have a very different political landscape both in the U.S. and Japan.

Match 25
Durban : Sunday June 19, 2010
Netherlands 1:0 Japan
Sneider 52'

So, the Japanese national team lost one due to Sneider's strong shooting to the Japanese goal keeper of a Snoopy class as he fumbled when receiving the mighty ball.

It was hours later after I just took a walk in the nearby park where I found a real succer ball of which pictures I took but were lost in the memory of my camera, strangely.

However, I am confident that Shunsuke Nakamura and other Blue Samurai learn a lesson to try their best in the coming match with Denmark on 24 June.
