(Look Up! Watch Down!! Follow Captain Tokyo!!....!)
Poor Voters & Rich Leaders
The number of poor voters is usually more than the number of rich voters.
But, leaders of any political party are rich and not poor at all.
Even leaders of a socialist party or a communist party are rich.
Ultimately, there will be a conflict of interest between poor voters and leaders of a socialist party or a communist party, if such a party wins power.
That is why politics cannot be a final means for salvation of the poor.
But, political power can regulate money flow and banking operation, since politics is above economics. With this notion, we may be allowed to discuss politics and its reality.
SECTION I: Truth of Regime Change in Japan
To your surprise, the Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ, shown by the red line below) had been an opposition party till the Lower House election conducted in the summer of 2009, though it is a younger party than the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP, shown by the green line below).
In general, the DPJ is liberal while the LDP is conservative, though there is a variety of members in each major party of Japan.
Numbers of Votes in the Proportional-Representation Constituencies
In the Lower House election on August 30, 2009, the LDP lost power for the first time in half a century as a result of a general election.
Now, the 2010 summer Upper House election is expected to show another turn of the political trend in Japan. However, the Lower House holds a priority right in selecting a prime minister in the National Diet, the bicameral congress of Japan.
Power is now in the hand of DPJ, namely its head of P.M. Mr. Yukio Hatoyama and its Secretary-General Mr. Ichiro Ozawa.
Any Japanese journalists who do not criticize the two for the only reason that they have power are regarded as receiving money or benefits from the Hatoyama Cabinet or the DPJ. Monitoring and checking power is one of key missions of journalism and the media.
You have to criticize the DPJ with power just like the LDP with power before 2009-8-30.
In addition, it is very natural that the Japanese voters chose the DPJ last year, since the LDP could not improve economy since early 1990's.
(Most voters thought the LDP leaders became fools due to their long and old system, but they now suspect that P.M. Mr. Hatoyama and his virtual boss Mr. Ozawa are as problematic as those LDP leaders, due to their long and old riches or privileges.)
SECTION II: ECONOMICS & LOVE TO NEIGHBORS
The modern economics is based on an assumption that no one has love to his/her neighbours.
It also helps rich people neglect a need for exercising love to their neighbours, since the modern economics calls rich people "capital."
"Capital" does not need to love its neighbours. But, rich men have to, if they are Christians.
If all the rich men in the world start to help poor neighbors, every economic problem will be solved.
In other word, if all the capital in the world starts to help poor neighbors, every economic problem will be solved.
Got it!?! What is based on people's bad faith cannot be a science; economics is not a science.
Anyway, why does economics have to define capital as having the sole purpose of increasing its value neglecting poor neighbors?

A jet plane from Dubai to a certain city of Karnataka state, India, crashed today, taking so many lives.
What for did it happen? Another warning to Dubai and India? If so, Indian people should not travel to Dubai.
If you read the Bibles or any Holy Books, you would find that Dubai is not holy at all.
If you have peaceful and prosperous Iraq and Iran, even Indian people do not need Dubai at all.
Anyway, Saturday is going to be closed here around Tokyo.
Where are you taking a walk tomorrow, since it will be not hot in Tokyo?)

Politics, Economy, & War
Secretary Mrs. Hillary Clinton arrived at Tokyo today, a very hot day for May.
The Governor of the Bank of Japan, Mr. Shirakawa, said in a news conference that the Japanese economy is on the road to recovery at a steady pace.
But, the issue is what would become of the world No.2 economy if another No.2 economy suddenly emerges.
The imbalance between the scale of the Chinese economy and its average income level has generated a great deflation pressure on Japan, resulting in a huge decrease in tax revenues.
However, no economists in the world seem to be able to understand this truth between the Japanese economy and the Chinese economy.
Indeed, Beijing could be hotter than Tokyo if it ends its short spring after long winter.
SECTION I: Core of IT Industry
There are some concerns among Japanese elites as to whether Japan can cope with the American IT industry in the 21st century.
In terms of hardware, Japanese makers as leading players would tie up with American software/service companies, as so wished by American partners.
(For example, Sony and Google:
However, in terms of software and systems, American companies are dominant.
Indeed, it is unthinkable that the U.S. Government and the U.S. military/security sectors will use operating software made by a Japanese company.
The U.S. Government and the U.S. military/security sectors will never use Japan-made OS instead of Windows OS or Mac OS.
The U.S. Government and the U.S. military/security sectors will never use Japan-made search engines instead of Google or Yahoo.
The American owed its victory over the Empire of Japan in WWII to its advanced electric interception technologies, cipher-breaking technology, and high-speed computing.
This tradition still lives in the American IT industry.
As computer programs are mostly written in English, the Internet codes are mostly written in English, and various IT standards are written in English, America has far stronger advantage in this sector than Japan has.
Conversely, to really compete with Microsoft, Apple, Google, Yahoo, etc., Japanese and Asian businesses have to study not only English but history.
Today, America's dominating position is secured more by software and systems than by hardware, if not by culture. And, the Internet is not one hardware or software product. It is a system of systems based on those products. And, this paradigm of industry is unique to the European/American civilization, since it is very structural.
Accordingly, to really compete with Microsoft, Apple, Google, Yahoo, etc., Japanese and Asian businesses have to study not only English but culture, since its functionality is very Western/American.
Yet, it is easier for Japanese or Asian elite businessmen and engineers to simply adopt American way of thinking and working rather than to create a new leading culture in the IT sphere of the 21st century.
But, Islam and the Buddhism are not necessarily obstructive factors for development of computers and the Internet, as the Japanese language is not.
SECTION II: Crude Oil & The Empire
Before the end of WWII, the Empire of Japan controlled a nation called Manchukuo, presently three northeast provinces of China.
Japanese elites tried hard to find oil fields in Manchuria, in vain. It is after WWII that the famous Daqing Field was discovered by the Chinese communist government between the Songhua river and Nunjiang river in Heilongjiang province.
Before the end of WWII, the Empire of Japan included a southern half of Sakhalin as its territory, though it is presently occupied by Russia.
Though there were big oil/natural gas fields in the northern half of Sakhalin, Japanese elites before WWII did not realize significance of those natural resources while importing oil from America. The Empire of Japan had a special right to import crude oil from northern Sakhalin through an agreement with the Soviet Union, but the Empire waived the right as it signed the Japan-Soviet Nonaggression Treaty in 1941, leading to more reliance on American oil, ironically.
If the Empire of Japan had had full information about oil/natural gas fields in Manchuria and the Sakhalin Island (Karahuto in Japanese) to utilize it fully, it would not have been drawn into war in the Chinese mainland in 1937. There must not have been the Pearl Harbor Attack in 1941, either.

If you have any boss who is more foolish than you, let him act just like a boss.
Serving a fool who happens to be your boss is a great training for you to learn how to realize peace in society, a nation, and the world.
Especially, if you are young, think that your only boss is the God, Allah, or Jesus Christ.
And, your holy mission is to make the number of such foolish bosses as small as possible.
In this context, a regime change or a position change is really needed in each ballot.
Indeed, without the 2001 9/11 Terror on the East Coast, Mr. George W. Bush would have ended as a kind of foolish boss for some in 2004.
Indeed, without the 2008 9/15 Lehman Shock on Wall Street, Mr. Barack H. Obama would have ended as a kind of foolish candidate for some in 2008.
If you happen to become a boss to anybody, you must have already mastered Politics, Economy, & War in your domain.
Remember the top management likes to choose a fool as a leader of workers, since fools blindly respect the top management.
This is not a hymn, though...)

(Running through the bridge...)
LIFE WITHOUT GUIDELINES
One's own happiness should not be a target and a driving factor for one's life.
Indeed, to be happy, people will make others unhappy. This is a true cause of competition, since everybody thinks that others will make him/her unhappy according to a situation.
To address this issue, religion, law, administration, democracy, and free market system are introduced. The fair competition is used as a phrase to justify results of competitions.
However, a human life and society must set its foundation at a higher level than that of happiness and fair competition.
Others' happiness should be a target and a driving factor for one's life.
You are expected to make others happy by the God and Jesus Christ.
Yet, the God and Jesus Christ say that there are enemies of the God and Jesus Christ; and they will face eternal death finally.
To your objection, a man is actually forced to be good and kind to others by the God and Jesus Christ, whether he or she is an enemy of the God and Jesus Christ.
Anyway, what you can get finally is a lost memory of a rich life you will have while you are in the hell, or accumulated wealth in Heaven you will enjoy while you are welcomed by the God and Jesus Christ. This is a logical consequence on one's life on the earth, which must be truly determined after one's death by the God.
SECTION I: Government Bonds & Deflation
The amount of circulation of Bank of Japan notes, namely yen bills, is almost 75 trillion yen or $824 billion.
The amount of government bonds the BOJ has purchased and held is almost 45 trillion yen or $495 billion.
Accordingly, the BOJ is thought to be able to purchase further government bonds worth 30 trillion yen or $330 billion.
However, according to one theory, the more Japanese businesses and individuals purchase government bonds, the less they can spend their money for consumption, leading to deflation.
Of course, as the Government spends money, being collected through selling bonds, into public work and other expenditures, money is circulating. On behalf of businesses and individuals, the government is spending their money to increase GDP.
It is said that Japan is safe as 95% of government bonds are purchased by domestic parties. But, for this reason, domestic consumption might become weak. Though the government executes public work and other expenditures, it is not an enterprise. Its role in the market might not be so effective.
Or, which will activate economy more: $1 trillion spending by the government or by businesses and individuals?
In conclusion, the government should refrain from selling government bonds but print government bills as a means of budget execution. Then, the state of whole economy will be explicitly and transparently measured by the value of yen in the exchange market.
SECTION II: Chinese Nuclear Weapons
It is said that China has now 450 nuclear warheads.
Among them, 250 are mounted on the inter-continental ballistic missiles and other strategic systems.
Most of these nuclear warheads are stored in tunnels or underground bases built in mountains of specific areas. But, the Chinese military moves them so often from one site to another. A big problem is that this dangerous convoy travels on ordinary highways running through villages and towns.
(The Sichuan Great Earthquake in 2008 reportedly caused a dangerous situation in this context, with scores of nuclear equipment broken.
Anyway, except Russia and the U.S., China is the most dangerous nuclear-capable nation in East Asia.
President Mr. Barack Obama should start a talk with China for reduction of nuclear warheads. Only in this wider frame, North Korea will be forced to abandon its nuclear weapons.
It is also said that when Mr. Zbigniew Brzezinski did not say in his public appearances that Japan should not have nuclear weapons, Chinese high-ranking officials protested strongly against him, while the former United States National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter thinks that Japan should have.
There must be no nuclear weapons in East Asia. China should lead the way.
US strategists, however, suggest that the Chinese position may be ambiguous, and nuclear weapons may be used both to deter conventional strikes/invasions on the Chinese mainland, or as an international political tool - limiting the extent to which other nations can coerce China politically, an inherent, often inadvertent phenomenon in international relations as regards any state with nuclear capabilities.
China might look peace loving to rich Americans (since China supplies goods to Wal-Mart), while it has an ambition to expand its military power as much as possible, since the Chinese Communist regime relies on military but not democracry.

If mankind has to control $100 trillion economy, it needs a myriad of computers everywhere in business, administraive, and personal domains.
But, mankind falls into error sometimes.
That is why another economic crisis is expected to happen sooner or later.
The true cause for the start of the Great Depression must be this challenge from a grwoing amount of information in economy. Conversely, if there had been a computer in 1929, no Great Depression would have happened. Or, as we had great computing power in 2008, the Lehman Shock could be contained reasonably.
But, mankind falls into error sometimes.
And, in the next Wall Street crisis, Microsoft, Intel, Google, and Yahoo will contribute little to containt it, probably.
So, learn computers and related technology to be a leader of any sort.
I didn't know how those in the mother country of the Beatles felt listening to this song. But, it could be a kind of way to take a feeling in a situation...)
Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

One Step or 56 Steps Short
A Japanese female singer walked the Grand Canyon, following well managed trails with some Americans as televised by NHK tonight in Japan.
As she reached a camp site set on an uphill slope, she checked a pedometer which showed 55499. She, so tired, simply said, "Oh, it is so much! Look, 55,499 steps!"
But, she did not look like realizing that it was one step short of 55,500 or 56 steps short of 55,555.
One's life might be often as such, namely one step short or 56 steps short of 55,555 after ascending 600 or 700 meters taking several hours.
Anyway, the Japanese female singer looked happy, convincing herself that she discovered true American land, though the Colorado River basin cannot be a symbol of America. She should go and walk down the Mississippi from Chicago to New Orleans through Dallas, in my humble view, taking 5,555,555 steps.
SECTION I: Japanese Financial Challenge
At the end of 2009, the total amount of the debts of the Japanese Government reached 592 trillion yen or $6.37 trillion.
There are now many discussions about this issue in Japan, even over the Internet.
Ratios of Outstanding Government Bonds over GDP as of 2009
(Source: OECD Economic Outlook 85)
However, Japan has a huge surplus in the balance of international payments, since Japanese businesses are strong in international-market competition:
Balance of Current Account in 2008
JAPAN.........(+ 156.6 billion dollars
USA....;...;..... (- 706.1
UK.....;...;..... ( -45.6
Germany......... (+ 243.6
France......... (- 52.9
Italy......... (- 78.0
Canada......... (+ 27.3
China......... (+ 426.1
India......... (- 9.4
The easiest way to address the Japanese financial deficits is asking more financial contribution from Japanese businesses.
Public financial contribution by businesses in the form of a sum of tax and social security fees is as follows:
A level of corporate tax in Japan is relatively high, but their contribution to social security fees is deplorably low.
If Japanese businesses pay as much as they do in France to the Government, the Japanese Government can collect 32 trillion yen or $344 billion more per year from this revenue source.
Yet, to cope with challenges from foreign businesses in the international market, Japanese businesses are requesting the government to lower corporate tax.
One thing sure is that the Japanese Government alone cannot solve this huge-deficit issue, though domestic parties have 95% of these debt claims and foreigners have just 5% in stark contrast with Greece and the U.S. Japanese businesses must join the government in this effort.
Another way is to adopt EEE-Economics proposing separation of taxation and governmental expenditures. The Japanese Government have to simply buy back outstanding bonds with yen bills exchanged with government bills through the Bank of Japan. The value of yen might fall to 120 yen per dollar, but Japanese businesses will of course survive with more profits from export.
This huge deficit of the Japanese Government can be turned to a huge advantage of Japanese businesses.
SECTION II: Qing (Ching) and Japan
The Ching dynasty (1616-1912) was not established by Han Chinese but by Manchu.
Yet Manchu did not destroy Chinese traditions. Chinese letters and literature were preserved by the Sinicized Manchu government.
But, the literacy rate in Ching is estimated to be about 3 to 4%, partly based on estimated sales of writing brushes.
In the same period, Japan was governed by the Tokugawa samurai clan, specifically between 1603 and 1867. The literacy rate in the last samurai era of Japan is estimated to be about 40% to 51% for men and about 15% to 21% for women.
China has been always a class society where almost no framers could read and write till the 20th century, while Japan has been a more flexible society where 90% of the people could read and write in 1900.
The big difference between the two countries is, from a Japan's viewpoint, that Chinese could not invent kana-alphabets which in Japan have helped children learn reading and writing more easily before using Kanji (Chinese) letters.
Another big difference between the two is that Ching and other classic Chinese dynasties had no paradigms such as sovereign power, territories, national borders, and even clear racial distinction unlike Japan surrounded by seas.
Their main paradigm is the distinction between cultivated China and surrounding wild worlds, though only handful Chinese elites monopolized culture, wealth, and power, suppressing a great majority of farmers. They even despised craftsmen.
In this background, the Ching dynasty fell in the early 20th century, leaving great chaos especially in Manchuria where Russians and Japanese confronted each other, while Manchu and Chinese left in this northeast region of the Chinese continent were mainly poor farmers who had almost no idea about what a nation is.
Then, the very controversial, artificial country Manchukuo was built in this mother land of the Ching dynasty in 1932 by the Empire of Japan as an independent nation outwardly, though Han Chinese also seems to have had no grounds for claiming the region as their own.
(However, today, Manchu people are almost absorbed by Han Chinese in the three northeast provinces of China, better or worse.)
Anyway, whether Manchukuo was included in the geographical concept of China or not had an important effect on the Pearl Harbor Attack in 1941.

Now the Japanese Government is so striving to stop the spread of foot-and-mouth disease among livestock, mainly in West Japan.
A decade ago, six million cows and other animals reportedly underwent slaughter disposition in England.
Now, 200,000 cows and pigs are expected to go through the same fate in Japan.
This ominous incident could influence the Hatoyama Cabinet.
However, remember the swine influenza has been well suppressed globally and especially so effectively in Japan, while the regime change was going on in Japan.
"Hato" means a pigeon or a dove in Japanese. Prime Minister Mr. Yukio Hatoyama should be more prepared for security incidents, since the military super-power America cannot be necessarily the only bad guy in the world, even in his paradigm of the East China Sea of fraternity.
Anyway, it is now at 00:09 of Thursday in Japan Standard Time; Thursday is superseded by Friday which is superseded by Saturday, and only Sunday is enough for a thrill, if not in the Grand Canyon, checking every step.
A traditional "Jewish" or Israeli song is not offesnive at all. But, so different from Arabic melodies it is. )
Luk 5:18 And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.
Luk 5:19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
Luk 5:20 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.

SUCCESS, HOPE & BLESSING
Success is not so important as hope.
Hope is not so important as blessing.
Blessing is so important as much as joy.
Yet, the most impressive word of Jesus Christ is "I have already won the world."
Therefore, the above order of paradigms is based on the victory of Jesus Christ.
SECTION I: General View on American History
In the era between Columbus and the Boston Tea Party, Europe did not respect America.
If you are successful and respected in Europe, you will not go to America if America is full of American natives.
Besides, if you go and become a king of America, you have to rely on Europe to have a civilized life. America has no way but follow Europe.
Then, in 1772, the Boston Tea Party occurred, leading to the independence of America.
In the era between the Boston Tea Party and the Civil War, Europe did not respect America.
If you are cultivated enough to abolish slavery, you will not go to America if America is full of slaves.
Besides, if you go and become a king of America, you have to rely on European industry to enjoy material riches. America has no way but follow Europe.
Then, in 1861, the Civil War occurred, leading to the emancipation of slaves.
In the era between the the Civil War and the Pearl Harbor, Europe did not respect America.
If European currencies and troops are so dominant, you will not go to America if America is so local in terms of security and finance.
Besides, if you go and become a king of America, you have to rely on European Christianity to observe non-Judaistic religious traditions. America has no way but follow Europe.
Then, in 1941, the Pearl Harbor Attack occurred, leading to the global deployment of American troops and dollars.
After WWII, some American Presidents started to think that they might be a king in the world, calling America the (sole) super-power.
So, the three magic events are: the Boston Tea Party, the Civil War, and the Pearl Harbor Attack.
In a sense, Former President Mr. George W. Bush addressed the Pearl Harbor Attack through building friendly relationships with Japan. President Mr. Barack Obama has addressed the Civil War through building his own Administration in the White House.
In short, the next American President will have to address the Boston Tea Party.
This is a general view on the American history you must have before going to Afghanistan or coming to New York or Washington D.C.
SECTION II: Japan's Bankruptcy vs. Trade with China
Japan is a kind of facing a potential of national bankruptcy, though it is completely covered by a huge amount of people's assets, unlike the case of Greece, as Japanese national bonds are well purchased by Japanese businesses and individuals.
The main factor for a need of issuing a huge amount of government bonds is deflation which is caused by a rapid growth of the Japan-China trade.
Compare and check the above two figures. Pay attention to the years 1997 and 1998.

The Asian Financial crisis started and expanded from Thailand in July 1997.
While the world exposition is being held in Shanghai, China, and a new president has been elected in the Philippines, Thailand is amid the rising tension.
What company would rather send an in-house Japanese cameraman to Bangkok from Tokyo while it has a big office in Singapore and Hong Kong?
Even in a private company, there is always a conspiracy, especially if it is in the media industry.
Today, on a cable TV channel, a Japanese ex-politician told that many elite reporters and in-house journalists of the Japanese media have been virtually bought up by high-ranking politicians occupying top positions of the Government for a very long time since 1960's.
He clearly said, "It was a bad thing to make those reporters fall from virtue by money."
But, he also added, "They are after all members of power structure."
(Even only to get this sort of testimonies, the regime change was necessary in Japan in the last summer.)
Yet, they are doing worse things in the world, involving the Western media, without mentioning the Chinese media and the North Korean media. Even Hollywood is out of the question.
So, you have to belong to other industry to make it better.
No housewives followed Jesus Christ. However, leaving their children and husbands is what Jesus Christ instructed as a condition to enter Heaven. Even in this context, the era of the Vatican should be closed.
Anyway, His word must have been big consolation for women unfortunately without children or husbands.)
Joh 5:16 And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.
Joh 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
Joh 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

Time to Take Action?
There are many Japanese in Bangkok.
If a large scale clash should happen between the Thai military and the demonstrators, Japanese citizens and businesses might have a grave influence.
Buddhism can be of no help in stopping a civil war as observed in the Japanese history.
The Thai Government should not use military troops for crackdown on civilian protesters.
National bankruptcy is better than a civil war, so that financial means should be applied.
SECTION I: The Last Oil Shock
I read The Last Oil Shock yesterday, though in Japanese.
Louis Christian, a retired oil company geologist who lives in Dallas, and a map maker with long experience in the Middle East. In the spring of 1998 the United States Geological Survey called to ask him to produce something on Iraq. His new maps would not tell the Marine Corps how to get to Baghdad, but may have everything to do with the reason they went.
An oil peak theory author Mr. David Strahan presents is not so interesting now, due to oil shale and oil sands so abundant in North America expected to be turned to, and used as crude oil.
But, the author pointed at a strong possibility that then President Mr. George W. Bush and Vice President Mr. Dick Cheney had a plan in the spring of 2001 to make war with Iraq.
Therefore, with or without the 2001-9-11 terror, the Bush Administration did most probably launch a war against Saddam Hussein's Iraq.
The shock Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney felt on September 11, 2001, must have come from their realization that somebody did launch a war against the Bush Administration before they started a war. Naturally, they would think that Saddam Hussein who had happened to know the plan of the Bush's War was behind AlQaeda to preempt it.
Like the Pearl Harbor Attack and the JFK Assassination, the truth on the most responsible side was yet to be revealed with the 9/11 Terror.
For your information,
Confirmed Reserves of Crude Oil as of the End of 2008 by BP:
#1...Saudi Arabia...36.3 billion tons
Source: The Nihon Keizai Shimbun, May 12
In 2004, the amount of crude oil traded globally was 2.1 billion tons. The oil reserves in the Middle East alone could support 45 year consumption if the consumption level should be constant. For the time being (10 to 20 years), the world will not have to worry about the coming oil peak catastrophe, according to the latest data.
See also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crude_oil .
SECTION II: Japan's Bankruptcy
It is widely known that rich, very rich, and super rich people in Greece have not paid tax sufficiently, causing the national bankruptcy of the nation.
One way to avoid Japan's bankruptcy is to collect tax sufficiently from rich, very rich, and super rich Japanese people.
Another way is separation of tax collection and governmental financial expenditure.
Financial expenditure by the government must be executed with bills printed by the government but not by the central government which is restricted by its nature of being a bank.
The amount of bills to be newly printed by the government must be however controlled by some authentic theory.
The value of yen can be influenced, but with a huge potential of provision by the Japanese industry, no catastrophe is thinkable.
The conventional paradigm of economics has restricted behaviors of the Bank of Japan, leading a huge national debt in the form of huge issuance of government bonds almost all of which are however purchased and possessed by Japanese financial institutes and individuals unlike the case of Greece.
The key to the solution is a paradigm change from conventional economics accompanied by an enhanced level of ethics among the people.

I might be just playing a role of somebody for a very long time.

Once the Bay of Tokyo was so close to the Edo (Chiyoda) Castle, presently the Imperial Palace, where the head (shogun) of the Tokugawa samurai government resided.
Today, a vast coastal area into the Tokyo Bay was reclaimed and used as industrial/business districts and the residential space.
I saw young children walking and riding on a bicycle on the street of such a residential quarter, musing, "Ah, this reclaimed ground full of high-rise condominiums a few kilometers south of the Tokyo Station has become their home town!"
Afterwards, I saw one homeless man resting at a corner near one entrance to the Tokyo Station. Then I saw another begging money from foreigners passing by. Yet, they were all the confirmed homeless persons today.
So logically, I peacefully got on a train to come back home, though today a notable Japanese sailing ship (un voilier) did not spread sail since it was an event of yesterday as I checked it with a staff member at the pier.
In short, I did not encounter a provoking affair today around the Tokyo Bay, since I took 400 pictures in four hours, consuming fully four 1.5V alkaline batteries though I carried another set of four in the pocket of my suit.
But, how grandly nice it would have looked if she had been with all the white sails set, even in my pictures (matching Mt. Fuji)! Oh, you should have watched the state.
