Now I can recall the early summer of 2007. I thought the media people, including Japanese ones, would be very busy in 2008 with the Olympic Games in China and the Presidential Election in the U.S.

The Beijing Summer Olympic Games turned out to be so ominous with the Tibet issue and the Great Sichuan Earthquake; the 2008 U.S, Presidential Election also proceeded extraordinarily with the 9/15 Lehman Shock and the subsequent GM crisis.

This summer in Japan is going to make the Japanese media people as busy as in 2008, since something rooted in 2007 is yet to be fixed.

Anyway, Airbus does not seem to welcome you if you fly to Africa or France for vacation, though the 2009 G8 Summit is going to be held in L'Aquila, Italy, the town a large earthquake hit this April as a warning to the Vatican.



SECTION I: AGE of COLUMBUS

From a theological point of view, there is a big question about Christopher Columbus’ discovery of the new world around 1500.

Why must it be around 1500?

Around 1500, the following epoch-making incidents occurred all over the world:
JAPAN – The age of civil strife started in Japan over the domestic political hegemony among samurai lords.

CHINA – The last Chinese imperial dynasty Ming established by the Han people was at its pinnacle of prosperity and moral. After this period, Ming started to fall due to imperial corruption.

INDIA – The age of Hindu empires was getting to the end; and an Islamic Persianate/Mongolian imperial power the Mughal Empire was about to start.

RUSSIA - The Grand Duchy of Moscow, the root of the Russian Empire, was founded, achieving independence from the Ulus of Jochi or the Golden Horde, a descendant of the Mongolian Empire.

SPAIN - The Kingdom of Spain was founded.

ENGLAND/FRANCE - The Hundred Years' War (Guerre de Cent Ans) was over and the two nations started to develop very independently.

In this age, the future United States of America’s basement was placed by the Columbus’ voyage aiming at Japan.

Indeed, it took 500 years until the heyday of the American Democratic Empire around 2000.

Thus, the existence of America itself is very apocalyptic.


SECTION II: Inheritance from 500 Years Ago

Preceding the decision of Columbus to sail to the west and reach Japan, information on Asia was brought to Europe.

Columbus read this book and dreamed of his glory reaching Japan.

But, the point at issue is that as Columbus arrived at the American Continent around 1500, he brought the air of the era there over the Atlantic.

In the old world everything has changed in these 500 years, but in the American Continent, something must remain as it was 500 years ago.

This kind of phenomena could be often observed in history. In the peripheral regions of the Roman Empire newly developed, some cultural aspects of the Empire of the age was well preserved even after they were lost in Rome.

(Some important cultural aspects of the ancient Chinese civilization was also preserved in Japan of today far better and more profoundly than in China of today.)

So, something common 500 years ago in the old world must be preserved well and found in the contemporary America.

Or, as Columbus read the book written by Marco Polo in the 13th century, even something mirroring the air of the 13th century might be preserved and found in the American Continent of today.

The key to understanding the destiny of America might depend on this notion.

In my humble view, it is related to Islam, Hindu, and Buddhism, and even Confucianism and Taoism.


SECTION III:　Judaists in 1492

Judaists were expelled out of Spain in 1492. Some influential Judaist clans moved to Istanbul and were welcomed. Istanbul became an intellectual center for Judaists for subsequent years, but eventually they could not sustain networks of Judaists spreading all over Europe, thus leading to a very precarious situation.

Still we are not sure when exactly they arrived to the Eastern and Central Europe.

This morning a Japanese newspaper read that a general or snap election seems to be scheduled for August 8 by Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso. Then, August 8, 2009 might be virtually the last day for the regime of the LDP-New Komeito political coalition in Japan if the DPJ does not fail in taking this opportunity smartly...


SECTION I: Christopher Columbus

Isaac Newton was not so great as he already knew that the world is a sphere, leading to a simple but valuable enigma why people on the other side of the Great Britain do not fall to the space.

It is Christopher Columbus that had promoted acts of experimental proof on the shape of the earth. Nonetheless, Columbus miscalculated the distance from Europe to Japan, his ultimate goal.

Ancient Japanese thought that a soul is in the mind.

In Japanese, a soul is called "Tamashii."

Here, "tama" means a globe or a ball.

Therefore, ancient Japanese thought that a globe-like soul is in the rolling-ball-like mind.

Now, you know how Japanese are different from Chinese and Europeans.

Accordingly, the Japanese concept of money and economy must be different from that of Europeans and Chinese, which global politicians and economists must respect.

It is so, since "yen," a unit of Japanese currency, means a circle.

SECTION II: Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso

Suppose that the Republican Party has held power since the Korean War, all through the Cuban Crisis, the Vietnam War, the Cold War, the Persian Gulf War, and the Money War on Japan, and further the War on Terror, except a very exceptional year in early 1990's.

And, in 2009, for the first time the Democratic Party has got a chance to take over the White House through election.

Then, you will understand how historical the year 2009 is.

In Japan, it is reality with the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) in the position of the Republicans and the Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ), though founded just a decade ago, in the place of the Democrats.

So, incumbent Prime Minister of Japan Mr. Taro Aso, whose approval rate has been recently lowered to less than 20%, might become the last prime minister from the LDP. By law, the term of the House of Representatives is to end this September and a general election is held; then newly elected Diet members will vote for a new prime minister of Japan. But, by law, Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso can dissolve the lower house to exercise his initiative to control the situation.

This situation in suspense has continued in Japan since Prime Minister Mr. Aso assumed the premiership last September.

As Mr. Barack Obama was elected as U.S. President last November, it is very likely that Mr. Taro Aso loses the coming general election, and head of the DPJ Mr. Yukio Hatoyama takes the seat of Prime Minister of Japan in a few months.

Indeed, it is the era that GM goes bankrupt and Toyota records some billion-dollars deficit.



SECTION III: Japan Uses the Least Energy Producing Steel

Steel is still the core of today's material civilization.

And, Japan is Number One in the world in producing crude steel with less energy.

Japanese technology and efforts for energy saving in industry surpasses all the other nations, including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., France, Germany, Australia, China, India, and Russia.

The world should respect Japan. The world should not request unrealistic CO2 reduction efforts for Japan, since Japan has been leading the world in energy saving efforts.

The scale of the Japanese economy is the main factor for the large CO2 emission from this second largest economy in the world, though it could be 30% to 40% larger without its current high technology.

NOT THE MATTER OF HEALTH CARE BUT OF POVERTY

Late last Saturday night in Japan, a cable TV channel distributed "Sicko" produced by Mr. Michael Moore.

I think I have not yet watched it fully, but I saw different part this time, since I tuned to the channel midway.

The film did not show what excellent medical care you can receive if you become rich in the U.S. It tells that as the U.S. Government is too much stronger than poor American voters, free and high-level health care services are not provided for poor Americans.

So, more and more non-poor Americans must join the poor voters against the U.S. Government and the health-care industry.


SECTION I: AMERICAN POVERTY 13%

The ever-increasing gap between the rich and the poor in the U.S. is a result of poor religious education among the rich.

Yet the ratio of the poor among the U.S. population has been surprisingly stable in these decades. Or, despite one definitely poor man among eight people all over America, political power has been always in the hands of the very rich and super rich.

Yet, a sensible balance was blown off in September 2008 with the Wall Street crisis, leading to awoken voting for Mr. Barack Obama.


SECTION II: Wnt vs. Alzheimer Disease

Japanese medical scientists have finally or first in the world identified a gene that might prevent occurrence of the Parkinson's disease, the Alzheimer disease, and the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

The gene is called "Wnt" which preserves necessary and essential connections among neuronal cells in the human brain.

However, it is necessary to cut unnecessary connections between neuronal cells and separate them as a human being grows in order to make signal processing efficient.

In the brain of a newborn baby, most of neuronal cells are connected and linked together. But, this state is not efficient for signal processing in the brain. To have the brain function efficiently, unused routes or ineffective channels among neuron cells must be severed and separated. Accordingly, there is a mechanism embedded in the brain that performs this disconnection.

But, if this mechanism works uncontrolled or unmoderated, even very necessary neuron-cell linkages could be severed and cut apart, resulting in probably the Parkinson's disease, the Alzheimer disease, and the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

But, the gene "Wnt" works to protect necessary neuronal-cell linkages from being severed and cut apart.

So, if the function of this gene is intensified, patients with the Parkinson's disease, the Alzheimer disease, and the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) might be cured.

There are 100 billion neuronal cells in the human brain.

If each cell has a length of one inch (2.5cm), the total extended length will be longer than the distance between the earth and the moon.

In this case, specifically, the total extended length of neuronal cells in your head is almost seven times longer than the distance from the earth to the moon, according to my summary calculation.

The number of different combinations and linkages among the 100 billion neuronal cells is almost infinite, so that one can receive a signal from Heaven.

Mr. Michael Jackson died a mysterious death.

If you do not respect his personality at all (from a Christian or Islamic point of view), you might get anxious about a dark shadow behind his death.

From my very personal experiences, a hospital, a medical doctor, a nurse, or a drug sometimes performs a perfect crime, whether with a clear intention or not or whether planned or accidentally.

Now, let's recall the case of Marilyn Monroe (1 June 1926 – 5 August 1962), since she died prior to President John F. Kennedy as well as Robert Kennedy in Los Angeles.

APPENDIX A. Bake-Shop "OBAMA"
According to today's Asahi Shimbun Newspaper issued in Japan, there is a baker's shop called "OBAMA" in Baghdad, Iraq.

In 1991, the shop called different name was destroyed by U.S. air raids. Since 2003 when U.S. troops attacked and invaded the capital of Iraq, friends and relatives of the shop owner have suffered damages or lost their lives.

But, when Mr. Barack Obama was elected as U.S. President, an idea flashed on him, so that he changed the name of his baker-shop to "OBAMA," posting a name board written in English. Then, twice more clients came to buy bread at his shop.

However, as the Iraqi citizens who denied justification of the U.S. invasion account for 56% of all, the shop owner wanted U.S. troops to leave Iraq as soon as possible. Yet, he wished good relationships between the Iraqi people and the American people.

Someday, Mr. Barack Obama might visit his bake-shop, since the baker so wishes.


APPENDIX B. A Japanese Mother
Nowadays, the number of high-school students in Japan who leave school before graduation is increasing. It is mostly due to financial problems.

In a girls' high school, a student dropped out several months before graduation. She attended class for more than two and a half years, paying her tuition.

In the morning of graduation ceremony, the mother of the withdrawn student called a teacher who had been in charge of her, saying sincerely, "Please firmly praise all the students going to graduate for their efforts."

The teacher could not instantly grasp the mind of the mother whose daughter could not attain a diploma which is so valuable in the Japanese society for any girls.

THE LAST MIRACLE

The last miracle, as recorded in the Bible, Jesus Christ in person performed was His ascending to the heaven while His disciples were watching.

It happened when they returned from Jerusalem where Jesus Christ had performed the most incredible miracle of recovering from His own physical death.

But, there was an additional one performed on Paul on his way to Damascus. This additional miracle was strongly tied with the last miracle of His ascending to the heaven.

Or it is strongly tied with all other miracles Jesus Christ performed to His hiding disciples in Jerusalem after His recovering from His own physical death.

Though Paul could not see Jesus Christ but only hear His voice, "Do not persecute me!" his disciples could see Him after His recovering from His own physical death.

It is so, since those disciples had actually seen and observed Him while He had been preaching until the death on the cross and the burial in a tomb. They had live images of Jesus Christ in their memory. Accordingly, they could "see Him" after His recovering from His own physical death.

But, as Paul had never seen and observed Him while He had been preaching, he could not see Jesus Christ while being spoken to by Him on his way to Damascus.

That is also why His disciples saw and observed Jesus Christ physically ascending to the heaven, though it was just His spirit that was ascending to the heaven (in the world so conceived by the disciples) in Galilee after they had returned from Jerusalem.

Human memory stored in the brain, sense of vision, and electromagnetic work on nerves in the eyes must have all worked in a special manner like in a night dream, so that His disciples could see Jesus Christ, but Paul alone could not after His recovering from His own physical death.

But, the core of the issue is that a holy spirit sometimes directly works on physical entities, including atoms, molecules, and cells and nerves.

(So, Jesus Christ told some women who met Him just after His resurrection at the tomb not to touch Him as He was still in a transition mode, somehow unstable, from the simple material world to the mighty spiritual world.)

Of course, an evil spirit also often tries to imitate this work and interaction between spirit and matter.

If the Government stopped to provide public services to the people due to national bankruptcy, revolution would occur in the U.S.

If the Government said that it is all responsible for an individual to be rich enough or make money enough to live on one's own assets without relying on any public services as the Government has gone bankrupt, revolution would occur in the U.S.

Conversely, the Government would decrease the level of public services as low as possible, or to the extent that no revolution occurs, since the Government is about to go bankrupt.

But, at a few steps before the possible American political revolution, poor Americans elected Mr. Barack Obama as U.S. President in 2008.

If President Mr. Barack Obama should fail in meeting this critical request, what will occur in the U.S. in one step closer to the possible American political revolution?

Will rich, very rich, and super-rich American people start to offer their personal assets to clear national debts and help those desperate poor Americans?

Or will they get prepared to stand against the possible revolution to disperse revolting poor Americans from American streets?

Anyway, I am afraid that the situation might settle with 200 million rich Americans who eat beefsteak everyday and 100 million poor Americans who cannot eat beefsteak any day. Democracy will sustain this state of skewed balance.

No more meaning in the division between Republicans and Democrats, since all the population will be divided into 200 million rich Americans who eat beefsteak everyday and 100 million poor Americans who cannot eat beefsteak any day in the state of skewed equilibrium.

In Japan, a revolutionary incident occurred in politics after all in 2001.

Mr. Junichiro Koizumi was elected due to vast support from the people as prime minister, defeating old-fashioned-elite-supported late ex-prime minister Ryutaro Hashimoto in the 2001 presidential election of the Liberal Democratic Party, since LDP is the largest ruling party in the parliament (called Diet).

In a sense, Mr. Koizumi can be rather regarded as having been a kind of Japanese Obama in 2001, since he actually introduced many dramatic changes into Japan, though some criticize that former Prime Minister Mr. Koizumi has been too pro-America.

However, no politicians have been able to enjoy the popularity comparable with Mr. Koizumi even after Mr. Koizumi spontaneously stepped down from the premiership in 2006.

Succeeding Prime Minister Mr. Shinzo Abe fell in illness; Succeeding Prime Minister Mr. Yasuo Fukuda abandoned his initiative to hold a general election; and incumbent Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso has even lost some able and competent political allies from his Cabinet due to various unlucky incidents, thus losing his own popularity.

So, in the coming Japanese general election to be held by October at the latest, we might see what will happen in the situation the people are looking for somebody or something new to avoid national bankruptcy and maintain a level of social welfare.

Anyway, as we already had a Japanese Obama in 2001, Japanese voters will probably vote in more futuristic manner in the coming election for Lower House members of the Diet.

And now, those who predict that the LDP will lose power and the labor-union-associated Democratic Party of Japan will take the helm of state account for 90% of all the professional journalists and commentators.

So, it looks as if only incumbent Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso of the LDP were in the position to bring a miracle in Japan nowadays.

DEMOCRACY - People Power


SECTION I: Democracy

Long before Christianity was established, the concept of democracy had been discovered by mankind, in Greece around 2500 years ago.

Democracy is a form of government in which the right to govern is held by the majority of citizens within a country or a state. It is derived from the Greek δημοκρατία (dēmokratía (info)), "popular government", which was coined from δῆμος (dêmos), "people" and κράτος (krátos), "rule, strength" in the middle of the fifth-fourth century BC to denote the political systems then existing in some Greek city-states, notably Athens following a popular uprising in 508 BC.

Indeed, 2500 years ago, Buddhism and Confucianism were established. So, it is very interesting that the concept of democracy had been discovered by mankind, in Greece around 2500 years ago, before the era of Alexander the Great and Caesar of Rome.

Yet, in any political system, there are bad guys and ordinary guys. A democratic society that consists of only bad citizens is also possible.

So, Jesus Christ did not recommend democracy to Israelites. He said, "Serve others and be a servant to others if you want to be a leader in a community, a society, or a nation."

Today all the major European-dominant countries, including the U.S., have the two regimes: democracy and Christianity.

Only Japan is exceptional among the G8 nations. China is not democratic but at least socialistic. India's democracy does not save its people yet though it is somehow socialistic. Islamic countries are making very difficult efforts to balance Islam with democracy, if they believe that democracy is not a Christian concept.

Anyway, President Mr. Barack Obama is a kind of product of combined Christianity and Democracy.

So, how will democracy prevail in Iran, North Korea, and China in the near future?

Terrorists will not come to attack New York and Washington D.C. from a democratic country if not Christian or Judaistic.


SECTION II: Will Democracy Save the World?

Democracy, free market, and world-class religion might become factors that incur a great calamity to mankind in the near future or in the 21st century, since they are too easily accessed and abused by bad and evil guys, and due to arrogance of mankind reflected there.

Is an ideal country a democratic country or a Christian/Islamic/Judaistic country?

An ideally Christian country must be democratic. An ideally Islamic country must be democratic. And an ideally Judaistic country must be democratic.

But, in an ideal country being democratic or having any sort of state religion or free market must be a secondary matter.

However, as history of mankind has reached this state of the present world with Christian nations, Islamic nations, Judaistic nations, socialistic-dictatorship nations, and socialistic-Hindu nations, we have to adopt democracy as a measure to secure the balance between those various historical factors.

(So, at this point, Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan must adopt democracy; Pakistan must further develop it.)

Even if democracy is to be one of the factors that lead mankind eventually to a catastrophe in the 21st century (the Wall Street crimes are of a very democratic type), it will not be acute and drastic.

In that slow process of the possible great tragedy that might be caused by democracy, mankind might find more chances to turn to the God and Allah (not to any religion).

I think so, since it has taken 2000 years since the birth of Jesus Christ and the fall of Jerusalem, and 1300 years since the establishment of Islam.

Yet, some religious professionals claim that their religion is valuable as it helps democracy, which might be a shallow thinking.

Anyway I do recommend you not to use the word "religion" but use "faith" or "belief," if you really want to follow the God or Allah, since it is not religion but orders that God or Allah has issued to mankind.

In addition, it is said that Alexis de Tocqueville found in America that "by the late 18th Century, democratic values which championed money-making, hard work, and individualism had eradicated, in the North, most remaining vestiges of old world aristocracy and values," which is also interesting in considering the American democracy/religion paradigm.

I meant that Emperor Showa and General MacArthur must have discussed at least some about the new Japanese Constitution and made some comparison between the Imperial Military and the American military forces in their secret meetings.

A decade ago, namely in the last days of the Clinton Administration, there were no deficits in the American federal budget as then President Mr. Clinton proudly announced.

American democracy and Wall Street's hi-tech financial business seemed to promise a century-long prosperity for the United　States.

Everybody turned blind eyes to the 1997 death of Princess Diana, the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombings in East Africa by AlQaeda, and the 1999 death of JFK Jr.

And then, now in 2009, everybody has witnessed the first African American President working in the White House like in a movie, the Lehman Brothers' bankruptcy and the GM's bankruptcy in addition to American troops so active around Iran while North Korea blasted nuclear bombs and launched a long-ranged missile.

It is just like after defeating the Soviet Union and then suppressing Japan, the United States has finally faced its true enemies in the world and history.

Can American democracy and Christianity overwhelm them?

OKINAWA in 1945 and IRAN in 2009?


They say that some 78 million American baby boomers are retiring in these days. But what is this concept of "retiring?" The show of history has just begun with the realization of the first American President who is the son of an African. And, like around 1980, another revolution seems to just begin in Iran...No happy retirement for followers of the God and Allah, definitely.


SECTION I: BATTLE OF OKINAWA 1945

Today, Japanese Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso has visited the Okinawa island (Okinawa Prefecture) located in the most southern part of Japan.

He attended the ceremony to commemorate the end of the Battle of Okinawa having been fought between March 26 and June 23, 1945, in the last phase of the Pacific stage of WWII.

The U.S. and its allies mobilized and concentrated 2,000 ships and 548,000 troops for the greatest landing operation in the human history on Okinawa islands.

The Imperial divisions prepared for the desperate defense battles with 116,400 soldiers and officers so as to gain time for the Imperial Government to fortify defense on Japan proper.

Though the allied lost 12,520 lives of their troops, the Imperial Military lost 94,136 lives in addition to 94,000 deaths of honest and courageous Okinawa civilians.

The Imperial Military however did not forsake troops and civilians engaged or involved in the war on Okinawa, 1000 miles far southwest from Tokyo. The Tokyo Headquarters sent 1,900 kamikaze attack planes from the Japanese mainland to Okinawa, whose sole mission is to hit and sink U.S. naval ships: one fighter plane for one battle ship.

Even the greatest war ship Yamato was dispatched to Okinawa as a kamikaze mission on the sea without any plan to return to its home port.

When the Battle of Okinawa ended, the Empire of Japan should have and must have decided to end the war and immediately ordered Imperial generals, officers, and soldiers to surrender to the allied military.

Then, June 23, 1945 would have been the last day of the Second World War for Japan.

Note: A grandfather of Prime Minsters Mr. Taro Aso is Shigeru Yoshida, a past prime minister of Japan who negotiated often directly with General Douglas MacArthur stationed in Tokyo after the unconditional surrender of the Empire of Japan on August 15, 1945. Though it is said that General MacArthur met Emperor Showa only once officially during his assignment in Japan for six years, there is a study claiming that they met total 11 times in utmost secrecy.

SECTION II: DEMOCRACY OVER SHINTO AND ISLAM

Before WWII, all the Japanese male adults had a voting right, each.

There were several political parties, and civilian premiers were sometimes in charge of administration of the Empire of Japan.

But, a hurdle to cross was raised beyond the pace of progress of democracy in the Empire of Japan, due to the Great Depression that started in 1929.

The samurai-spirited Empire chose the way for war only to be totally defeated by the world except Germany and Italy.

Then, by providence, American Christians occupied Japan and introduced full democracy into Japan.

Consequently, democracy was put above shintoism, the de-facto state religion of the Empire of Japan.

But, Japan has leveraged this freedom and liberty assured by the new constitution to rebuild the nation and surpass all the WWII allied nations, except America, in terms of technology and economy in the subsequent half century.

This must be the situation Iran now faces.

Full democracy must be introduced into Iran. It must be put over any religion, including the Iranian version of Islam.

Yes, from Iraq to Afghanistan, full democracy must be introduced like in the case of the Empire of Japan in 1945 and after.

Nonetheless, war and civil war must be avoided as a vehicle to convey full democracy to the region.

President Mr. Barack Obama had better pull out all the troops from Iraq and Afghanistan but recommend the retiring 78 million American baby boomers to move to Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan as democracy missionaries.

As a kind of punishment General MacArthur strongly and forcibly recommended the Japanese Government to adopt a draft of new Japanese constitution prepared by his staff.

However, General MacArthur must have envisaged that the Japanese people would naturally change and modify some part of the constitution in several years, since it includes the very controversial Article 9 renouncing a state right of war and declaring total elimination of armaments for war.

General MacArthur and his staff must not have dreamed that Japan would extremely honestly continue to keep the constitution as it was until 2009.

But, there are no such Christian, Islamic, and Judaistic countries in the world as has an article in their constitution equivalent to the Japanese Article 9.

In this context, Japan is the most Christian, Islamic, and Judaistic in the world.

Accordingly, Japan is the most blessed by the God, Allah, and Yahweh, in my very personal view.

(CHAPTER II: RENUNCIATION OF WAR
Article 9:
Aspiring sincerely to an international peace based on justice and order, the Japanese people forever renounce war as a sovereign right of the nation and the threat or use of force as means of settling international disputes. 2) In order to accomplish the aim of the preceding paragraph, land, sea, and air forces, as well as other war potential, will never be maintained. The right of belligerency of the state will not be recognized.)

American Agenda and Asian Agenda


NPR over the Internet broadcast "Born in the USA" of Bruce Springsteen this morning as I accessed the NPR stream.

Once I was driving late night from Yokohama to my town via Tokyo streets to get tired and drop in a cafe or restaurant on the road side; I felt like I was a Japanese Bruce Springsteen since there were some Americans in the shop.

Of course, in those days, no one dreamed that another Vietnam-War-class military age would come to the U.S. almost 20 years after.

Yet, I do not know how much musician Mr. Bruce Springsteen contributed to the rise of Mr. Barack Obama.

Your reading EEE Reporter at New York or Los Angeles in the midnight might contribute to the future rise of, for example, the first foreign-born U.S. President or the first Judaist, Islamic or Buddhist U.S. President.

With its 15% of the population left uninsured and insecure, how can a presidential candidate who proposes a health-insurance system that covers all of its citizens not be elected as U.S. President?

But, I recommend President Mr. Barack Obama to put the system on private initiatives of the health insurance industry. It is so, since freedom and liberty are worth risking their lives in the U.S.


SECTION II: Great is Asia

To tell the truth, it has been indeed difficult that Japan alone, as a representative of Asia, competes with Europe and North America.

Japan is getting relived, in this context, with the rise of Taiwan, Korea, China, India, and other Asian countries busy deploying their capability in the modern material industry and trade.

As the population of Asia is seven times larger and the GDP is 0.8 times larger, Asians live nine times more materially sinless life compared with EU citizens and NAFTA people.

(Theologically, the Devil can capture a European or a North American nine times more easily.)

The above table I prepared, however, implicates a kind of difference in cultural paradigms between the old world and the new world, NAFTA.

In this sense, you might be happier living in North America on a different level of freedom and liberty.

But, form a historical point of view, the value of North America to mankind depends on whether or not they can establish a new religion, such as Judaism, Christianity, or Islam.

Another table focused on religion and morality is needed for analysis on three major regions on the globe.
