Revolution Starts in Summer

It is truly revolutionary that Mr. Barack Obama, a son of a contemporary African, was elected as U.S. President after having been nominated for President in the U.S. Democratic Party conference in the summer of 2008.

In Japan, finally the LDP-led Cabinet has decided to dissolve the Lower House of the Diet, having power to elect Japan's prime minister, on 21 July and hold the general election on 30 August, 2009, though the political upheaval is expected to further continue till October as there are some ambitious parties, factions, and groups laying their own schemes for formation of a new Government.

Yet, we had better review the French Revolution:

Another cause was the fact that Louis XV fought many wars, bringing France to the verge of bankruptcy, and Louis XVI supported the colonists during the American Revolution, exacerbating the precarious financial condition of the government.

The social burdens caused by war included the huge war debt, made worse by the monarchy's military failures and ineptitude, and the lack of social services for war veterans. The inefficient and antiquated financial system was unable to manage the national debt, something which was both caused and exacerbated by the burden of a grossly inequitable system of taxation. Another cause was the continued conspicuous consumption of the noble class, especially the court of Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette at Versailles, despite the financial burden on the populace.

Yet you must wonder what happened between the revolutionary power in Paris and the Vatican, since the Pope was the largest stakeholder in the economy of the French kingdom:

The most significant part of the effect of the French Revolution is that the richest entity of the Vatican was deprived of its source of wealth in France, and thus France could avoid the national bankruptcy by confiscating Pope's lands and issuing a new paper currency backed by the newly nationalized estate in land.

The key figures of the French Revolution, either as an enemy or a friend of poor Parisians, were the Vatican and Judaists. Without this notion, you would have simply a too romantic image on the French Revolution.

But, the truth is that the Vatican had neglected poor French people for so long while tying up with successive French kings, while Judaists had been neglected of their human right for so long in their poor and peaceful living in the Christian world.

It was truly so to the extent that most of French poor people came to pay no respect to the Vatican while finding themselves in the same miserable state as that of poor Judaists who eventually looked like their friends in poverty.

It is just like young politicians being given many chances and higher appreciation in Japan and America today. However, being young alone never promises true virtue, wisdom, and power. For example, J.F.K. was simply assassinated in 1963 and Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in 1968.

Is A Miracle Happening?

A few days ago, I saw four cars with licence plate numbers, such as "11-11," "11-01," "11-10," and "11-20" in a minute or so and almost in an well arranged sequence.

Yesterday I saw two cars with licence plate numbers, such as "TOKYO 505 A 34-56" and "TOKYO 505 E 34-56," in one parking lot.

It is incredible anywhere in Japan since there are almost 60 million passenger cars owned by households.

I have never met any Christian priests or clergymen who could correctly interpret the teaching of Jesus Christ: Those who have some will be given more but those who will not have any more will be deprived of whatever they have.

But, this kind of situation happens every day in a normal citizen life.

If you do not support senior executives of the company you work for, your position and benefits will be surely taken away from you.

This simple analogy has never surfaced in the mind of Christian priests or clergymen.

It is a commonsense that it is dangerous to allow your potential enemy to hold any substantial title and salary in an organization.

If you do not actively partake in business of the company with colleagues and executives, you are supposed to be an embedded enemy, so that you have to be made incompetent for security of the company; accordingly whatever you have in the organization must be taken away from you.

And, in Jesus Christ's teaching, the organization or the company is the Kingdom of God. If you do not have your own share in the Kingdom, you will be regraded as a potential insurgent and thus shall be deprived of whatever valuable things you have been given so far, very naturally.

But, most importantly, I have never met any Christian priests or clergymen who could correctly interpret the teaching of Jesus Christ: Those who have some will be given more but those who will not have any more will be deprived of whatever they have.

There are no Christian priests or clergymen I have ever met who are worth respect, since they have no ability to work in a company with a commonsense; otherwise they must have been able to correctly interpret this teaching of Jesus Christ.

To try to have more means that you are a friend in the Kingdom of God.

Not try to have more means that you are an enemy in the Kingdom of God.

The enemy must be made powerless and incompetent by taking away whatever weapons they have.

This is the teaching of Jesus Christ.

And, I suspect that the Vatican cannot fully and correctly interpret this teaching of their holy, holy Lord.

So, you had better read the EEE Reporter blog, rather than listening to stupid interpretations in any Christian church.

If all the Americans come to regard Israel as essential part of the United States, though in the form of an independent nation, no lobby is needed any more.

It is also well known that funds infused by the Japanese financial sector into Wall Street since September 2008 has contributed to some early recovery of the U.S. financial sector.

What is more, while Chinese troops are now killing hundreds of Islamic citizens in its western territory and North Korea is developing nuclear-warhead ballistic missiles, the Asian market, including the Chinese market, is peacefully secured due to Japan's presence rather than U.S. military presence in this region.

Yet, the G8 Summit members are still making merry around President Mr. Barack Obama, as if he were the late Mr. Michael Jackson, while Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso alone properly dressed in this summer meeting near Rome and the Vatican.

So, it is apparent the world is wrong; Japan is right, since Prime Minister Mr. Aso alone looks like a Roman Senator at L'Aquila, Italy (with others looking like Germanic chiefs).

There are 1,220,922 Japanese Americans in the U.S. today, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Of them, the foreign borns account for 352,512, remarkably 247,748 of which are not American citizens.

Those classified as "one race" account for 70.8% of all these Japanese Americans, while the ratio of "one race" among the total U.S. population is 97.8%.

It is well known that most of Japanese Americans, including those born in the United States, were treated as the enemy of America or regarded as not-genuine American citizens in the wake of the Pearl Harbor Attack in 1941.

However, it is impossible that the Japanese Government, in any era, asks anything of Japanese Americans if they have not Japanese nationality.


SECTION II: Religion of Japanese Americans

Americans' concept of religion is immature compared with that of Japanese.

Based on this immature standards, Americans sometimes try to measure the Japanese, resulting in frustration since they cannot understand the deep meaning and effect of the Japanese Buddhism.

It should be noted however, that a resonable number of Japanese people both in and out of Japan are secular as Shinto and Buddhism is most often practiced by rituals such as marriages or funerals, and not through faithful worship, as defines religion for many Americans.

For Japanese American Christians, the church is one of the most important cultural foundations. In California, Hawaiʻi and Washington, congregations can be composed entirely of Japanese Americans. In the rest of the country they tend to be accepted in predominately white churches.

Anyway, it is astonishing that those Japanese Americans have inherited the essence of the Japanese Buddhism or spiritualism through their ancestors, no matter if they have family members of a different racial or cultural origin.

It suggests that the Japanese Buddhism or spiritualism can be a new global religion in the future (probably coupled with the faith in the God Almighty).

It is apparent that the deepest meaning of the war fought between the Empire of Japan and the U.S. as part of WWII is that it was virtually a religious war.

SECTION I: Frivolous Anti-America Camp in Japan

There is strong domestic criticism on the Japanese Government, since it has been very pro-America.

Especially, the Koizumi-Bush relationship has been a target for criticism by opposition parties and their supporters.

Even some prominent liberal commentators said, before September 2008, that as a share of America in Japan's trade was declining, the Government had to be cool to America.

Many armature citizens in the anti-ruling party camp said, before September 2008, that as the U.S. economic power was waning, the Government had to be cool to America.

Such anti-LDP people in Japan often said, before September 2008, as the U.S. Government and its financial sector were exploiting and abusing Japan's assets, the Government had to be cool to America.

Some opposition party members and their supporters virtually claimed, before September 2008, that Japan does not need the American market and American friends, including Mr. George W. Bush.

Then, the financial crisis came in September 2008. Japan's export to the U.S. fell by 10%, 20%, or even 30% to 40% by sector. Even Toyota's sales dropped by 40%. Tens of thousands of Japanese workers have lost their jobs.

And, no one in Japan today claims that Japan does not need the American market and American friends.

Yet, no one in Japan today admits how immature they have been.

That is why if the new Japanese Government highly expected to be formed by the Democratic Party of Japan after the coming general election is manned by such anti-America guys who do not yet sincerely regret what they said on the Japan-U.S. relationship before September 2008, Japan might lose both American friends and the American market, leading to another tens of thousands of job loss.

What is worse, there is a fear that those armature-class DPJ politicians after holding power and forming a Cabinet in Tokyo might become the too-naive and easy enemy (or counterparts) for politicians in Washington D.C., including President Mr. Barack Obama and Secretary Mrs. Clinton.

That is why many responsible or veteran politicians in Japan are nowadays busy and troubled, if not looking like a pierrot, since the regime change in Japan from the LDP-dominant to the DPJ-dominant Government is surely about to be realized in a month or two, as many Japanese voters who have lost jobs since the 2008 financial crisis would vote for the DPJ candidates.

The Japanese now appear to be making the best of Mr. Roos's eventual arrival. The Nihon Keizai Shimbun business daily said the U.S.-Japan relationship has grown so mature that it doesn't require a big name as a go-between.

A White House official offered Tokyo some reassuring words: "John Roos is very close to the president, and having that can be very important."

Huntsman was apparently not the first person Obama considered for the post. Foreign Policy’s The Cable blog reported in April that several people had turned down the job, including former Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) and Obama’s transition chief John Podesta.

Huntsman also wasn't a likely choice, given his strong Republican ties. The blog did not include Huntsman on a speculative list of nominees, including retired admiral Bill Owens, economic adviser Laura D’Andrea Tyson, and former Rep. Jim Leach (R-Iowa), who endorsed Obama during the presidential campaign.

Still, his credentials for the post are solid.

Huntsman, 49, served a Mormon mission in Taiwan. The governor and his wife, Mary Kaye, adopted a daughter, Gracie Mei, from China in 1999. In 2006, he led a trade mission to China "because of their prominence on the world stage and the way in which they are growing so rapidly," he told the Deseret Morning News of Salt Lake City.

He served as a deputy assistant secretary of the Commerce Department’s Trade Development Bureau under former President George H.W. Bush, who appointed him as Singapore ambassador in June 1992. Huntsman was identified in news reports at the time as a political donor, bundling contributions from different people for Bush’s reelection.

Huntsman also took a role in President George W. Bush's administration, serving as Deputy U.S. Trade Ambassador from 2001 to 2003...

SECTION III: Lost Hope, Lost Fear

A divorced man, 41-years old, fired a pachinko-gamble parlor in Osaka, Japan, in the daytime a few days ago.

Using gasoline and matches, he actually killed four people and injured scores, running away for a few days and finally submitting himself to the police to accept a death penalty.

He had been a gasoline-tank truck driver before he left the job last year, due to the crazy oil price hike.

Then after this news spread all over Japan, a middle-aged Chinese woman was arrested for an attempt of murder by using gasoline and a lighter on a woman who works in a public employment agency around Tokyo, since the Chinese woman could not get satisfactory aid from the female civil-service worker, though the Chinese woman reportedly married a Japanese man to live in Japan.

The speculation in the crude oil market in the U.S. has resulted in the murder of four victims in Osaka and the one attempt around Tokyo, both using gasoline fired as a murder weapon.

Both the violators reportedly said that they wanted to die but first had to take such an action against others.

So, the regime change in Japan is considered as the most possible.

Tokyo Governor Mr. Shintaro Ishihara was decades ago regarded as a strong candidate for a future Japanese Prime Minister, since he had a unique younger brother, Yujiro Ishihara, one of the most popular actor in Japan.

But, Yujiro Ishihara died of a disease; Mr. Shintaro Ishihara was alienated from the mainstream of the ruling party so that he stopped to run for national elections since 1995, putting an end to his chance of becoming prime minister of Japan, though he succeeded in extending his career to be first elected as Tokyo Governor in 1999.

Mr. Shintaro Ishihara is hated by the pro-China camp in the Japanese political community. Legendary but still-influential Former Prime Minister Mr. Yasuhiro Nakasone, Mr. Ishihara's old friend, is also hated by the pro-China camp in the Japanese political community.

As incumbent Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso is also hated by the pro-China camp in the Japanese political community, if the ruling Liberal Democratic Party is lost in both the coming Tokyo metropolitan assembly election and the national Lower House election, it is expected that the Chinese Government would leverage the situation to their advantage in their diplomatic and political operation against Japan, which Former Prime Minister Mr. Yasuhiro Nakasone, a WWII veteran, seems to be worried about.

Accordingly, if the very possible DPJ Government in Japan, after the general election, takes a very pro-China stance, the political situation in East Asia might shift very favorably on China now violently suppressing Islamic Uygurs in Xinjiang who want their Independence from the Communist Beijing Government.

It is unbelievable, since Judaists must not have loved the German culture so much, so long as they had left Germany for America where the Civil War was going on.

Even in America, the old European style colonialism based on slavery was going to be abolished. Juadaist immigrants should have found a new paradigm. They had to realize that the future of all the Judaists was not in Europe any more but in America.

They had to relinquish every cultural and spiritual assets they had brought from Europe, in order to build new Palestine or Israel in America. Judaist immigrants should have called other Judaists remaining in Europe to abandon life in Europe and move to America in a mass.

Iran has been selling its oil for euros for quite some time. A lot of its international deals are denominated in euros. As are Russia's, China's and Brazil's. Adding Brazil to the mix strengthens the movement away from the dollar in our own hemisphere. Brazil has been moving in this direction since 2005, Venezuela has been pushing this since 2007.11

Most Americans are unaware that in 2003 Saddam Hussein had begun to sell Iraqi oil for euros as well as dollars, and that Bush, two months after invading Iraq, enacted an emergency order which, with the misleading title of "Protecting the Development Fund for Iraq," secretly ended Iraq's euro sales of oil. The U.S. press, unlike the Irish Times and the UK Financial Times, took no notice of this.

But, being a hard worker and at the same time a poor man proves that the man has right faith.

Simply observed, Puritanism distorted the teaching of Jesus Christ. Americans came to believe that a hard working and thus rich man has a respectable personality, which is so ridiculous. Americans came to believe that a poor man must be lazy and irreligious so that they must be despised, which is so anti-Christ.

But, even today, in Japan, the original Buddha's teaching is respected so that poor men are not despised only for their bring poor. Yet, even today, in America, the distorted Puritanism teaching is deplorably respected so that poor men are despised only for their bring poor.

Japanese are more close to the teaching of Jesus Christ than Americans are. This ridiculous situation was resulted from diffusion of the distorted Puritanism among Americans.

The issue is for what and whom a man has become rich. If for himself and his pride, it is anti-Christ. If for other poor men and glory of the God, he can be condoned by Jesus Christ.

Born into a poor family, Ninomiya was completely self-educated. Through diligence and careful planning he was able to develop and increase his family’s landholdings. His success came to the attention of local officials, and he was soon invited to join the government. There was nothing revolutionary in Ninomiya’s system. He taught peasant families how to budget their expenses and plan their work, and he advocated mutual aid and cooperation in farm communities. Nevertheless, his methods achieved remarkable success in improving agriculture; his fame became widespread when the regions that he had developed suffered very little during the great national famine of 1836.

Ninomiya was also a moral leader who believed in the value of hard work and the dignity of manual labour and was able to instill in the peasants pride in their own occupations and the urge to follow his example of working to improve the general welfare. In the long run his ideas may have helped spur a desire for a more equalitarian social order.

That is why I am telling you that the Japanese economic success after WWII owes its tradition of its unique Buddhism (and the Christian-democratic Constitution).

It is time for California citizens to learn the Japanese Buddhism to conquer the large-scale social plight.

It is so, since even the past excellent Japanese socialists and communists were more influenced by Buddhism rather than Christianity, in my humble view, especially in their defining standards of justice and friendship.

First, Japanese politicians must fully realize that Japanese businesses heavily invested in Taiwan, Korea, and China during the "lost decade" rather than in the Japanese domestic market.

So, contrary to views of most of American economists and politicians, Japanese businesses, including Toyota and Honda, have never experienced the "lost decade."

The size of Japan is almost equal to that of California. Japan has been at the limit of economic and industrial success in terms of the geological size and the natural environment.

Maximum GDP the people are allowed to output without destroying the land and the nature of Japan has been already reached in Japan in early 1990's. It is the truth of the "lost decade" for Japan.

So, the extension of the Japanese GDP is now found in Taiwan, Korea, and China. So, though consumer power of Japan has been limited in its expansion due to those environmental (and cultural) conditions, Japanese businesses have now bases overseas and retain potential for further expansion, like in the case of Toyota vs. GM.

Therefore, Japanese politicians themselves must fully grasp this truth to give advice to President Mr. Obama and Governor Mr. Schwarzenegger so that they will turn their eyes even to Canada, Cuba, and Mexico (hopefully as far as Columbia) to find room for expanding American and Californian GDPs. Then American and Californian businesses will grow and accumulate potential to save the governments. (NAFTA has been operated too superficially comapred with Japan's financial investment and industrial involvement in Taiwan, Korea, and China.)

It is so, since Japan's (at least psychological) stability depends on a number of businesses with accumulated potential to salvage the Japanese Government.

Finally, Japanese politicians must fully realize that the success of Asia, India, and China has been also the underlying success of Japan who has sacrificed its further prosperity in the form of the "lost decade."

They must look more proud than Asians, Indians, and Chinese.

Article 6 [Appointments]

(1) The Emperor shall appoint the Prime Minister as designated by the Diet.
(2) The Emperor shall appoint the Chief Judge of the Supreme Court as designated by the Cabinet.

Article 7 [Functions]
The Emperor, with the advice and approval of the Cabinet, shall perform the following acts in matters of state on behalf of the people:
1. Promulgation of amendments of the constitution, laws, cabinet orders and treaties.
2. Convocation of the Diet.
3. Dissolution of the House of Representatives.
4. Proclamation of general election of members of the Diet.
5. Attestation of the appointment and dismissal of Ministers of State and other officials as provided for by law, and of full powers and credentials of Ambassadors and Ministers.
6. Attestation of general and special amnesty, commutation of punishment, reprieve, and restoration of rights.
7. Awarding of honors.
8. Attestation of instruments of ratification and other diplomatic documents as provided for by law.
9. Receiving foreign ambassadors and ministers.
10. Performance of ceremonial functions.

Yet, it is very exceptional.


SECTION I: WHOSE AMERICA

There is an unsettled controversy about why "America" was named so.

The earliest known use of the name America for this particular landmass dates from April 25, 1507. It appears first on a small globe map with twelve time zones, and then a large wall map created by the German cartographer Martin Waldseemüller in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges in France. An accompanying book, Cosmographiae Introductio, explains that the name was derived from the Latinized version of the florentine explorer Amerigo Vespucci's name, Americus Vespucius, in its feminine form, America, as the other continents all have Latin feminine names...

Another objection is that new countries and continents were never named after an explorer's first name, hence Tasmania (after Abel Tasman), Van Diemen's Land (after Anthony van Diemen) and The Cook Islands (after Captain James Cook). The only exceptions to this were places named after royal people, hence the Victoria Falls. Therefore, under this principle America would have been called Vespuccia...

Another theory, first proposed by a Bristol antiquary and naturalist, Alfred Hudd, in 1908 was that America is derived from Richard Amerike (Richard ap Meurig), a Welsh merchant from Bristol, who is believed to have financed John Cabot's voyage of discovery from England to Newfoundland in 1497 as found in some documents from Westminster Abbey a few decades ago. Supposedly, Bristol fishermen had been visiting the coast of North America for at least a century before Columbus' voyage and Waldseemüller's maps are alleged to incorporate information from the early English journeys to North America. The theory holds that a variant of Amerike's name appeared on an early English map (of which no copies survive) and that this was the true inspiration for Waldseemüller.

Anyway, importance of reporting can be here confirmed, since as Amerigo Vespucci reported on the new continent in his letters general European people came to have a notion of the continent over the Atlantic.

The two disputed letters claim that Vespucci made four voyages to America, while at most two can be verified from other sources. At the moment there is a dispute between historians on when Vespucci visited mainland the first time. Some historians like German Arciniegas and Gabriel Camargo Perez think that his first voyage was done in June 1497 with the Spanish Pilot Juan de la Cosa. Vespucci's real historical importance may well rest more in his letters, whether he wrote them all or not, than in his discoveries. From these letters, the European public learned about the newly discovered continent of the Americas for the first time; its existence became generally known throughout Europe within a few years of the letters' publication. Why exactly he died is unclear. He died on February 22, 1512 in Seville, Spain.

So, the news reporting makes or decides a case sometimes.

Yet, if Mr. Barack Obama should successfully and gloriously fulfill his duty from 2009 to 2017, why not rename America "Obama?"

Of course, it is theologically supported to rename America New Palestine, since Judaists were expelled out of Spain in 1492, eventually leading to the Holocaust.


SECTION II: Martin Luther (1483 – 1546)

It looks like a little strange that Christopher Columbus (1451 - 1506) and Martin Luther lived almost the same era.

Let's confirm how Mratin Luther regarded Judaists:
