It is said that there are two conditions under which for the Chinese Communist Party to claim its authenticity or legitimacy.

It fought a great war against the Empire of Japan. It could assure prosperity or economic growth to the people.

So, the Chinese Government has advertised that Japanese soldiers simply came to Nanjing to kill hundreds of thousands of civilians, which is a lie since the Chinese leaders and generals had left Nanjing leaving soldiers and citizens while soldiers put on civilian clothes to conduct a guerrilla war. Chinese leaders and generals had abandoned citizens in Nanjing from the beginning. It was hundreds of thousands of Chinese soldiers who fell in battles between Shanghai and Nanjing, since it was an uninterrupted series of combats. The Imperial Japan's Army drove Chinese leaders and generals, mad in fear, out of Nanjing to Chongqing. They shamelessly abandoned citizens and soldiers in Nanjing, since Japanese soldiers aimed at them but not Nanjing citizens. If hundreds of citizens were caught in battles between Japanese soldiers and plain-clothes Chinese soldiers in Nanjing City in 1937, it was the Chinese leaders and generals that should be blamed.

Now, as the above lie is getting tarnished, the Chinese Communist Party has to sustain its economic growth all the more. But, the gap between the rich and the poor in the Chinese society has been widened so dangerously that 100,000 riots or violent incidents occur per year in China.

There are some Japanese researchers who predict that the Chinese economic bubble that has continued for a decade will burst soon. Then the Chinese Communist Party will lose every ground on which to claim its authenticity and legitimacy.

The common keyword among the four unpopular nations is nuclear weapons.

The top popular nations, except the U.K., have no nuclear weapons. Germany, Canada, and Japan are successful countries without nuclear weapons, though Japan has 53 nuclear reactors for electricity generation.

Indeed, evil in the world is in tension between Israel and Iran with nuclear weapons secretly developed or under development. Evil in the world is in a secret tie between Pakistan and North Korea with nuclear weapons openly developed.

Yet, Germany among nuclear-armed France and the U.K.; Canada adjacent to nuclear-armed America, and Japan facing nuclear-arms dependent Russia, China, and North Korea are all trusted and praised by peoples of the world, since the three nations do not introduce nuclear weapons into their defense systems.

This situation also tells the position the U.S. still occupies in the world. The U.S. alone can suppress all the nuclear weapons being possessed or to be possessed by Israel, Iran, Pakistan, and North Korea. In this context the U.S. is still the sole superpower in the world in terms of military potential. In this context, it is profoundly meaningful that the U.S. has now an African American President whose deceased father was said to have been a Muslim at least once.

Of course the worst scenario is that a white, Christian American president should abuse its nuclear weapons to control and rule all the Islamic nations and Asian nations without mentioning African and Latin American countries.

Yet, for the U.S. to be respected and loved by peoples in the world, America has to abandon its nuclear weapons. And, for this end, President Mr. Barack Obama was awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize already in 2009.



SECTION II: New View on History

It started with the emergence of, and preaching by, Christ Jesus 2000 years ago.

Then, for 500 years, the Roman Empire played a major role while incubating Christianity. But, Islam came fast. It came so suddenly as if in order to prevent spread of European Christianity to the east of Jerusalem.

Following it, Mongolians started to conquer the Asian Continent around 1200, though it did not harass Islam and Christianity. When the Mongolian Empire receded from the border between Asia and Europe, the Turkish Empire established its power around the border area, thus blocking European Christians' expansion to the east of Jerusalem and as far as India or China.

Accordingly, in the late 15th century, kings and the pope in Europe started to encourage great voyage to sail around Africa to reach south Asia, South-East Asia, and as far as China. In this trend, the American continent was found to be invaded by European Christians.

Now, 500 years have passed since the era of Columbus. The U.S. is exercising its power over the world as the most powerful nation in the world.

However, the history can be estimated in a different way.

It is so, since Abraham was from the Sumerian Civilization which adopted the sexagesimal system (based on multiples of 60).

In Koran, there is a passage asking Allah to protect a believer from an evil spirit or an evil man who imbues evil with people.

The world is full of enemies, uncertainty, and evil so that we have to ask help from Allah.

This is very understandable. And it is so simple. Islam will be needed until all the people become enemies of evil spirits.

On the other hand, Christianity is strongly linked with a notion of the end of the world. Christianity will survive till the end of the world.

However, Judaists will simply wait for other blessing to be given by the God. They will wait forever.

So, eventually time might come when the three religions are unified into one. But not under money, since an infinite amount of money looks impossible.

There was just one Roman Empire.

But, there were at least eight Chinese Empires in a chain of succession, though with some civil war eras in between, after the establishment of the First Emperor.

Among the eight major Empires, two were governed by different tribes rather than the Han Chinese. The Last Emperor of China was from Manchu.

No matter who became emperor of the Roman Empire, he would respect Caesar and other predecessors. But, in China, a new empire was established through fierce battles with an old one. A new imperial court denied succession of traditions from a preceding empire. They were enemies for each other forever.

Only continuity was found in poor farmers who accounted for a vast majority of the Chinese people in any era. The present Chinese (communist) Government is unique in that they set their foundation among poor farmers, if just in theory.

In this long, complicated, and cruel history of China, many great aspects and spirits of the ancient Chinese Civilization have been lost in China. But, as Japan imported many cultural goods from China, the core of great aspects and spirits of the ancient Chinese Civilization are still alive in Japan more clearly than in China of today.

Even tragedy of the war between the Empire of Japan and China during WWII must be viewed in this context.

China mostly burns coal to produce electricity (like in the U.S.). Before the CO2 emission issue, air pollution is a big problem.

According to the People's Republic of China's own evaluation, two-thirds of the 338 cities for which air-quality data are available are considered 'moderately' or 'severely' polluted. Respiratory, Cancer and heart diseases related to air pollution are the leading cause of death in China. Acid rain falls on 30% of the country. China's environmental laws are among the strictest in the world, but enforcing these laws has been difficult in China. The World Health Organization has found that about 750,000 people die prematurely each year from respiratory problems in China.

SECTION III: CHINA - CYBER ATTACKS

China is not a friendly country to any nations in the world. It is very strange but it is a fact. China has also no friendly nations in the cyber world.

In August 2010, the U.S. for the first time is publicly warning about the Chinese military's use of civilian computer experts in clandestine cyber attacks aimed at American companies and government agencies. The Pentagon also pointed to an alleged China-based computer spying network dubbed GhostNet that was revealed in a research report last year.[29] The Pentagon stated:

"The People's Liberation Army is using "information warfare units" to develop viruses to attack enemy computer systems and networks, and those units include civilian computer professionals. Commander Bob Mehal, will monitor the PLA's buildup of its cyberwarfare capabilities and will continue to develop capabilities to counter any potential threat."

China officially admits that it has a special unit specializing in computer hacking.

Indeed, China was a victim of the era of imperialist invasion. But, all the African and Asian nations were.

In June 2010, 1 US dollar was exchanged with more than 90 Japanese yen.

So, some people and Japanese Media expect that the incumbent Finance Minister Mr. Yoshihiko Noda to replace PM Mr. Naoto Kan in a month or so, though it is not clear how Mr. Noda, a DPJ politician, regards China.

A big tsunami was approaching immediately after the occurrence of an M9.0 undersea earthquake. But people lost electricity due to the big tremor. TV news were suddenly not available. Car radios and community speakers were informing drivers and residents that a 5 to 6 meter high tsunami was coming. Yet, residents on the North Pacific Ocean were confident with coast levees and shelter belts surrounding their towns, since the levees and forests were mostly 5 to 10 meter high.

To tell the truth, what emerged off the shore was 15-meter high tsunamis which climbed 30 meters high in some terrains when they hit the ground, passing through harbors or inlets and raiding 3 to 5 km inland.

If an authority had been able to correctly find that 15-meter high tsunamis were rushing in immediately after the occurrence of the M9.0 earthquake, most of the victims should have run away from their homes earlier, since it took about an hour that huge tsunamis reached the land from 150 km to 200 km off the coast. Accordingly, 25,000 people were lost in northeast Japan on March 11, 2011.

Indeed, from the beginning, as the M9.0 earthquake destroyed seismographs or made them malfunction, the Japanese authority could not correctly measure the scale of the tsunami. Hours later when they collected data having been measured in foreign countries, the Japanese authority understood that it was an M9.0 earthquake.

This is a typical pattern of wholesale collapse. Nonetheless, lessons are not fully learnt by Japanese politicians, including the prime minister of Japan.

In this way, 100,000 houses and buildings were completely destroyed and 60,000 partly demolished while 400,000 cars were lost, making the Japan's GDP dip by 3% or so.

It was all caused by a great earthquake with Magnitude 9.0 energy that happened in an undersea area stretching hundreds of kilometers along the Pacific coast line of Honsyu Island from the north to the south. At the end of the affected area, Tokyo Bay is situated so luckily.

Could such a large scale disaster happen in the world in future as the 3/11 Disaster of Japan?

The global warming will not cause such a drastic disaster as a matter of a few hours.

Which is more important for a man, the end of his life or the end of the world?

Is there any meaning in God's punishing all the mankind or a certain person who is I or you?

You may want your children or grandchildren to have a happy life after your death. But for their happiness, would you rather sacrifice your own happiness?

There are two ways in dealing with this issue. First, admit the Lord God Almighty who ultimately governs souls of mankind. Secondly, believe you, your ancestors, and your descendants belong to one great spiritual world where mutual happiness should be realized.

The former is for believers of the God of Abraham. The latter is for Japanese and the likes.

Recently a Japanese journalist traveled to Washington DC and New York.

In Washington DC, he met old friends some of whom, however, hesitated to shake hands fully as before. Those Americans said that nobody trusted the Japanese Government reporting daily dosage values measured around Tokyo and Fukushima. Accordingly, they hesitated to shake hands fully as before with an old friend coming from Japan very recently.

In New York, the Japanese journalist found a smoking area on a street to take a humble smoke. Then, a middle-aged half-homeless looking white man approached to him, extending the shaking hand. So, the Japanese said to the man, "I am just from Tokyo. This tobacco is of a Japanese brand. Is it OK for you?" Then the poor white man murmured and left the smoking Japanese.

The Japanese Communist Party announced that dose reports on Tokyo by the Government are not accurate, since they measure radiation 20 or 18 meters (60 or 54 feet) high above the ground in a very specific location (namely Shinjuku Ward) only delivering record of, for instance, 0.0623 micro-sieverts/hour.

According to the measurement record by the Party:
1). Surface of the ground in a park of Katsuhsika Ward: 0.618 micro-sieverts/hour

2). A 1 meter-high point near a filtration plant in Katsuhsika Ward: 0.3 micro-sieverts/hour

3). A 1 meter-high point in a grass field of Adachi Ward: 0.257 micro-sieverts/hour

4). A 1 meter-high point in a park of Koto Ward: 0.186 micro-sieverts/hour

Generally speaking, values of radiation measured by the Party in the eastern part of Tokyo are relatively high, though within a harmless range. Yet, 0.618 micro-sieverts/hour in Katsuhsika Ward, Tokyo Prefecture, means 5.42 milli sieverts per year, which is not so desirable.　


SECTION II: Losing a Wager

The Japanese nuclear energy community must have thought: "We are not such a fool as would embrace huge costs taking preventive measures in nuclear power plants against an earthquake or a tsunami of a scale observed only once in 1000 years."

So, the God laughed at their foolishness, without sparing the Japanese people the tragedy on March 11, 2011 which led to the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accidents.

What is required for the Japanese and their leaders is laughing at their own foolishness of having made a wager that an earthquake or a tsunami of a scale observed only once in 1000 years would never happen on March 11, 2011.

It is so, since an earthquake and a tsunami of a scale observed only once in 1000 years actually occurred on March 11, 2011, crippling four nuclear reactors in Fukushima Daiichi.

And, while even the Japanese are now forced to be humbler before the God, how severely will they be treated by the God: the Chinese, the North Koreans, and the Russians?

It is very interesting that ancient Hebrews had a notion that the God might have terminated existence of mankind because He repented His creation of men.

As men came to do evil things, the God came to decide the termination of mankind. It is very understandable, if the God had created mankind to see good in men. But, to put an end to the human history, the God has to act on His initiative. It means that mankind could survive for a very long time while doing every evil thing. Mankind as a whole has ability to survive for centuries and millenniums while doing evil things among themselves. It is a surprise. Yet, for this reason, to put an end to the human history, the God has to act on His initiative. It is all the more interesting that ancient Hebrews thought so, as so expressed in the Old Testament.

Nonetheless, for a reason still unclear, the God sent His son to mankind 2000 years ago to save them.

Probably, to truly understand why the God sent His son to mankind 2000 years ago to save them is the most important thing for man.

It is probably more important than the end of one's life or the end of the world.

In addition, the evil things include abuse of atomic energy or nuclear power.

(Note that if Christ Jesus is the Son of the God, he is so if anybody except the God said He is not.)

Once Japan was divided into scores of local countries, though wholly governed by the Imperial Court in Nara (Yamato) and then in Kyoto before the beginning of rule by samurai 800 years ago. Each country had many shinto shrines integrated into the central shinto regime in the capital.

The Tohoku region of today was once called in large "Mutsu." The leading shrine was called "Shiogama-Jinjya" situated in today's Miyagi Prefecture.

The wooden ship, Daigo Fukuryu Maru, was built in 1947 as a bonito fishing boat, though it was later converted for a tuna fishing boat to sail to the Central and South Pacific Oceans as far as Indonesian waters. It contributed to feeding the Japanese people in hungry times after WWII. However, a big neclear tragedy hit the ship and its 23 crew members in predawn of March 1, 1954.

In March 1954 the United States carried out a hydrogen bomb test on Bikini Atoll in the Marshall Islands, located in the Pacific Ocean. The radioactive fallout (small particles of coral reef containing highly radioactive materials) produced by the test fell on a Japanese fishing boat named Daigo Fukuryū Maru (Lucky Dragon No. 5), which was about 160 km from the test site. One of the crewmembers of the contaminated boat died in September of that year.

In order to produce fuel for certain types of nuclear reactors and nuclear weapons, uranium has to be "enriched" in the U-235 isotope, which is responsible for nuclear fission. During the enrichment process the fraction of U-235 is increased from its natural level (0.72% by mass) to between 2% and 94% by mass. The by-product uranium mixture (after the enriched uranium is removed) has reduced concentrations of U-235 and U-234. This by-product of the enrichment process is known as depleted uranium (DU). There is a very important description in the Bible about deeds Christ Jesus conducted.

He committed His disciples to acts of purification of people. Then, if each pair had really performed the act of miracle on troubled people, great effects should have appeared in Judea. If each pair had healed one person per day, they should have healed 2000 people per year. In 10 years, 20,000 people. In 30 years, 60,000 people. But, Titus Flavius Josephus (A.D. 37 – 100) did not mention any such acts of miracle in his great books, The Jewish War (75 AD) and Antiquities of the Jews (94 AD).

What happened with those disciples of Christ Jesus who were dispatched to the world around A.D. 30?

Were their lives all terminated before they could fully exercise their power? Or were their acts of miracle taken by people as something "ordinary" so that nobody especially spread their spiritual work? Or does it mean that something truly amazing is never told especially if it is so personal?

In 1900, the Boxer Rebellion was launched in China by local Chinese who joined the secretive anti-foreigner society.

The Manchuria-origin Qing court that long governed China also joined this violent movement attacking Westerners and Japanese. However, rebellions were suppressed by Western powers and the Empire of Japan and eventually the Qing court lost face.　

Yet, the Russian Empire would not withdraw its troops after the incident. Rather, they had its troops advance from Manchuria to the border to Korea. This movement alarmed not only the Empire of Japan but also the U.K. that had a plan to build a railway from Beijing to Mukden (in Manchuria).

Accordingly, the first Anglo-Japanese Alliance was signed in 1902. The Russian Empire, competing with the British Empire for the hegemony over Afghanistan, was also faced with the British pressure through the Empire of Japan at the border between Manchuria and Korea while China or the Qing dynasty was making wider concession to Russians.

The Russian Empire boldly occupied Manchuria in 1903. The Empire of Japan proposed that it would accept Russia's hegemony and presence in Manchuria provided that the Russian Empire accepted Japanese hegemony and presence in the Korean Peninsula. But, Moscow responded that the Russian Empire would take Manchuria as a matter of course and requested the same right in Korea as the Empire of Japan's.

So inevitably, it resulted in an outbreak of war between the Empire of Japan and the Russian Empire around Manchuria. China or the Qing dynasty was not directly involved in this war, though the war was fought mostly in its legitimate land territory of the Qing dynasty. Facing the Russian military power, the Qing dynasty of China and the Rhee dynasty of Korea had no chance to stand as a true independent country like the Empire of Japan.

On the sea, the Empire of Japan was equipped with then modern six steel-hulled battle ships purchased from the British Empire before the start of the war against the Russian Empire. So, the Battle of Tsushima (the Great Naval Combat in the Sea of Japan) was fought as the world first full-scale naval battle by two countries using steel-hulled battle ships.　In this war, the Empire of Japan mobilized 76 warships, including those purchased from the British Empire and those built in Japan, and 76 torpedo motorboats. (After this war the Empire of Japan for real started to build then advanced steel-hulled battle ships by itself.) In addition, the Imperial Army of Japan used rifles that were all made in Japan and domestically-made and imported artillery in the Japanese-Russo War. (China and Korea had then no such industrial power.)

The victory of the Empire of Japan over the Russian Empire was resulted from a series of neck-and-neck battles. But, its aftermath was great. Without this victory on the Japanese side, the Far East and East Asia should have been fully colonized by Russians and eventually other West Europeans and Americans like in the Middle East, Central Asia, South Asia, and South East Asia. It proved that to be a power of the world you did not have to be a European and Christian country.

Indeed, it was the first major victory of an Asian nation over a European great power since the era of Genghis Khan. But, it made even the U.S. nervous about a potential collision with the Empire over the Pacific Ocean.

Truly, even today most of Afghans know the Japanese-Russo War and the victory of the Empire of Japan. Truly Japan and Afghanistan are the two countries that once defeated invading Russians.

But, as later the Empire of Japan made war against the U.S., Islamic fighters entered a state of war with the U.S. There lies something that has to be reviewed from a historical context of a wider span of time. At least, a futile war must not happen. But, how meaningful are the wars past and ongoing?

Eventually, the Empire of Japan saved Korean people and Taiwan people from being dominated or enslaved by Russians and other Westerners. Though it is true that the Japanese people had a sense of superiority over Koreans and the Taiwanese at the time, the Japanese way of occupation of Korea and Taiwan was not cruel at all compared with Western rule over their colonies. Modernization and Westernization were first introduced into Korea and Taiwan by Japanese in this period. Even, modernization and westernization were more effectively introduced into part of China by Japanese than the Qing court in Beijing could do at the time.

To make sure, the literacy rate of the Chinese people around 1900 is estimated to be 5% to 30% while the rate in the Empire of Japan around 1900 is estimated to be 90%.

Japanese Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan changed his mind and expressed his will to resign without taking many days, weeks, or months as he virtually promised early resignation to Former Prime Minister Mr. Yukio Hatoyama so as to avoid passing of votes of no confidence in the National Diet.

PM Mr. Kan could not obtain full support within the ruling party DPJ. He also failed in getting full support from the opposition parties. The duty and task to handle the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident and damage caused by the 3/11 Disaster seems to be beyond Mr. Kan's power, ability, and capability. His behaviors are reportedly a cause of alienating efficient and diligent officials and staff members.

Probably, he would step down in July or August at the latest. He would not meet President Mr. Barack Obama in September.

It took 80 years for the British Government to have engaged in invasion of Afghanistan and abandoned the idea.

Yet, it is not only Great Britain that tried to invade Afghanistan from the late 18th century. Iran and Russia were also active in extending their influence to Afghanistan, though Iran soon abandoned the idea.

After WWII when the U.K. left India, the Soviet Union found no obstacles for their ambition to expand their influence in Afghanistan. Accordingly, they strengthened their diplomatic and political engagement in Afghanistan.

Nonetheless, the failure in Vietnam forced the U.S. to find a place to regain its fame as a warrior for freedom. So, the U.S. identified Afghanistan as the battle field for this purpose against communists. The U.S. did not send, however, its regular troops to Afghanistan. But, they decided to help, foster, and use Islamic fighters who hated communists. Many Islamic volunteer fighters came to fight Soviet troops. One of them was reportedly Osama bin Laden.

The initial Soviet deployment of the 40th Army in Afghanistan began on December 24, 1979 under Soviet premier Leonid Brezhnev.[16] The final troop withdrawal started on May 15, 1988, and ended on February 15, 1989 under the last Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev. Due to the interminable nature of the war, the conflict in Afghanistan has sometimes been referred to as the "Soviet Union's Vietnam War."

Then, Afghanistan was long forgotten. Everybody thought that it was natural that the Islamic Taliban took control of Afghanistan, since Islamic fighters with help from the U.S. won and defeated Soviet communists. But the Taliban leaders were very local minded. They did not understand what it mean to accept Osama bin Laden returning from his home territory of Saudi Arabia via Sudan. Osama bin Laden reportedly gave costly gifts to the Taliban leadership to acquire their friendship. Many, many Toyota and Nissan cars were presented to the Talibans. And they demolished big statutes of the Buddha at Bamiyan in early 2001, which was a big sign of imminent danger to the world.

The War in Afghanistan began on October 7, 2001,[28] as the armed forces of the United States and the United Kingdom, and the Afghan United Front (Northern Alliance), launched Operation Enduring Freedom in response to the September 11 attacks on the United States, with the stated goal of dismantling the Al-Qaeda terrorist organisation and ending its use of Afghanistan as a base. Since Alexander the Great could march just to the east of Afghanistan and pulled back his great troops before the Indus, Afghanistan and Pakistan have been a crossover point of various world powers. Buddhism from India, Greece culture from the west, Islamic influences from Iran, British invasion, Russian invasion, and finally American involvement and AlQaeda have all concentrated on this region.

Today it is said that Afghanistan accounts for 90% of global opium production. Probably a war on opium must be launched in Afghanistan. But by whom? By Pakistan, the U.S., or Islamic fighters?

Former President Mr. George W. Bush spent seven and half years and a $1 trillion budget only to fail in capturing Osama bin Laden.

President Mr. Barack Obama spent two years and a minimal budget to mobilize scores of special troops and a few helicopters, in addition to ordinary operating costs of CIA, to take on Osama bin Laden.

It is crazy, it is extravagant, and it is an unforgivable waste of thousands of lives of American soldiers and hundreds of thousand of lives of Iraqi and Afghan people.

To put simply, it is a crime.

By the way, 383 earthquakes occurred in New York between 1677 and 2007. It came at a pace of once per year, though their magnitude is at a level of 2 or 3. The last time an earthquake of M5.0 or more occurred in New York was in 1884.

Since Japan recently suffered an M9.0 earthquake that could happen once in 1000 years, New York could be hit by M6.0 at any time. A lack of preparation in New York would surely multiply damage to the scale 100 times more than the 9/11 Terror of 2001. Yet, even Americans will be reluctant to take a large-scale preventive measure, since the last time an earthquake of M5.0 or more occurred in New York was in 1884.

Americans had better choose a new president from California, if not of a Japanese origin.
