"unto living fountains of waters"

Truth Must Be Marching On

According to the latest US Census Bureau statistics, the value of Chinese exports to the U.S. fell 12.2% to $296.4 billion for 2009.

On the other hand, China holds $900.2 billion of U.S. Treasury bonds.

Yet, China has recently intensified its purchase of the Japanese Government bonds to a total of $12 billion.

My concern is that there is an increasing number of very arrogant behaviors among Chinese as observed in the Internet.

As the Chinese Government has not properly educated its citizens by indicating truth of history, some young Chinese misunderstood that they are geniuses to be so rich by themselves.

Also in Japan, some DPJ politicians seem to think that they are geniuses to have taken power from the LDP last summer.

In either case, they are not geniuses. China was made rich by Japan and America for their necessity, which would be shown sooner or later. The DPJ was allowed to take over by Japanese voters for their necessity, which has been shown in the 11-07-2010 Upper-House election.

Arrogance really made people blind to truth.

SECTION I: Keynes, Hitler, China & Judaists

Probably inspired by the regime change in Japan through the 30-8-2009 election, a Japanese author wrote a book titled "Hitler and Keynes."

http://bookweb.kinokuniya.co.jp/htm/4396112033.html

As he is not a professional or commercial economist, it is not so bad to buy and check it if you can read Japanese.

There are some interesting passages in the book, for example:

"From a historical perspective, there is a specific pattern that nations that accepted Judaists prospered.

Spain and Portugal expanded their power to accumulate great fortune during the Age of Geographical Discovery between the 15th and 17th centuries. In this Age, both the Iberian nations accepted Judaists. But, after they purged Judaists, Spain and Portugal started to decline losing the hegemony over the world.

The Netherlands and Britain accepted those Judaists fleeing from the Iberian Peninsula to expand their power to accumulate great fortune through the Industrial Revolution.

Today it is the U.S. that accommodates the most Judaists in the world, the number of which surpasses that of Israelis. It goes without sating that the U.S. has had hegemony over the world economy after WWII..."

In addition, the industrial development of Germany before the World War One was also greatly contributed to by Judaiats.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Jewish_Nobel_laureates

Even China owes its success critically to Juadaists. If Karl Marx, a Judaist, had failed in launching his anti-Christian-capitalists theory, China could not have been integrated, unified, and governed after WWII. Without the social stability realized through application of Marxism to politics and administration of China with a billion population, its economy could not have grown and cannot be managed and sustained.

So, as China accepted Marxism, a philosophical branch of Judaism, as a principle for governing its people after WWII, it has succeeded in setting an effective and efficient framework where a huge amount of economic and technical aid from Japan could work properly. Though China did not accept Judaiats, it accepted the Judaistic philosophy and way of thinking. China is also in this sense directly, though just ideally, influenced by Judaism.

The only exception in this context is Japan. Its acceptance of Judaistic influence has been fairly indirect, since it has been always through European/American Christianities.

However, Japan is as great as Israel. Japanese have been as blessed as Judaists and Israelites.

Difficulty in this context can be found in the Islamic world and India. How will Muslims and Hindus accept anything based on Judaism, if so indirect like in the case of Japan?

(Note that there are some nationalistic Japanese who love to honor Japan and Japanese people by ranking glory of Japan with historical glory of Judaism and Judaists or Israelites. However, as I mentioned above, their pride is not necessarily groundless.)

Now back to the book "Hitler and Keynes," the Japanese author, Mr. Tomohiro Takeda, concluded that Both Kayenes and Hitler tried to correct negative sides of Judaistic features in modern economy. It could be undestood, since Judaistic features in modern thoughts about money resulted in capitalism and Marxism.

SECTION II: The Vatican, America, and Japan

In the book "Hitler and Keynes," the Japanese author, Mr. Tomohiro Takeda, concluded that Both Keynes and Hitler tried to correct negative sides of Judaistic features in modern economy. It could be understood, since Judaistic features in modern thoughts about money resulted in capitalism and Marxism.

Yet, another figure behind the scene is the Vatican. It could be also understood, since Christian features in traditional thoughts about money were betrayed and discarded by capitalists and Marxists.

How could the Vatican carry such a shame of failure in the world and history? So, Hitler attacked the Soviet Union.

Yet, Americans attacked Nazi Germany, since the Empire of Japan attacked the United Sates as the U.S. had supported Chinese attacks on the Imperial troops legally stationed around Shanghai in 1930's.

Truly, how could the Samurai Empire carry such a shame of failure in the world and history? So, the Imperial Navy attacked the Pearl Harbor (with a fleet consisting of 20 Naval ships including six aircraft carriers equipped with 350 fighter planes), instead of withdrawing all the Imperial troops from mainland China succumbing to Roosevelt demanding so...

It is so, since the glory of Japan ranks with historical glory of the Vatican, in my humble view.

Juadists claim 4,000 year history, proudly, since Abraham. The Vatican 2,000 years since St. Peter. Capitalism and Marxism less than 200 years, each, since Rothschild and Marx. But, democratic and free Japan after WWII just 60 years or so. If Japan failed, there would not be many hopes left even in terms of economy and money in the world and history.

A Chinese blogger wrote that every Chinese is greedy wishing to be a millionaire over a night; but Japanese look almost lacking love of procession to the eye of Chinese.

One of the reasons, he thought, is that Japanese people have already almost everything they need.

But, more importantly, Japanese people are oriented to spiritual matters unlike Chinese.

Yet, he mused, "As Japanese consumers are not so greedy, Japan's economy has been suffering a slump for so long."

Indeed greedy China might be aiming to invade Japan as it is so greedy.

Nonetheless, the more Chinese get involved in the Japanese society, the more they also come to be oriented to spiritual matters. Accordingly, their minds are opened to see reality of China.

This is one truth most of Americans do not realize, since true traditions of Buddhism and Confucianism are still alive in Japan but not in modern China.

Anyway, the summers seems to come around Tokyo. The summer is associated with the sea for most of the Japanese. The sea is the Pacific Ocean for most of the Japanese. So it is no wonder if I am facing the Pacific Ocean tomorrow, though not necessarily to see something blue.

Bad Guys Claiming for Justice in a Party

If a politician never judges himself by applying the same measure and scale of justice he used when blaming others, he cannot be trusted.

However, you cannot see how a politician will behave when he becomes a prime minister or a president until he really assumes office.

It is now one of big issues in Japan.

SECTION I: DPJ, LDP, New Komeito, and Your Party

The July 11's Upper House election in Japan has opened a new epoch in the Japanese political domain.

The shares of votes for the four major parties in the national proportional-representation constituency are as follows:

DPJ...31.56%
---------------------

LDP...24.07%

Your Party...13.59%

New Komeito...13.07%

They togather account for 82.29 % of total votes, though the ruling party DPJ is supported by only 31.56% of 100 million voters in Japan.

As the Your Party was established by ex-LDP lawmaker Mr. Yoshimi Watanabe and New Komeito formed coalition cabinets with the LDP for more than a decade, it is very likely that the new coalition of the LDP, the Your Party, and New Komeito would take over from the current leading party DPJ led by Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan.

A big difference between the two camps is their stance to the U.S. and China.

Though there are many pro-Chinese lawmakers in the LDP, the Your Party, and New Komeito, China is not the only major foreign friend to them. They have far longer history in the friendly relationship with the U.S.

In contrast, the three top leaders of the DPJ, P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan, former P.M. Mr. Yukio Hatoyama, and ex-Director General of the party Mr. Ichiro Ozawa, have frequently visited Beijing in these years. They have been apparently targets of a Chinese diplomatic strategy, covert and overt, against Japan. Mr. Kan, Mr. Hatoyama, and Mr. Ozawa seem to like Chinese leaders more than American politicians.

The true reason for the regime change in Japan last year is poor and irresponsible management of pension funds by the LDP that had been in power for half a century since 1950's. This incident indicates how the LDP neglected the poor and the weak, since the failed management of the pension system has affected millions of ordinary and poor Japanese citizens.

However, prosperity of Japan consists in the relationships with the U.S. and China, as every citizen knows through his or her professional life.

As proved in the poor handling of a consumption tax increase by P.M. Mr. Kan, Japanese voters have now come to doubt P.M. Mr. Kan and the DPJ in terms of ability to lead Japan handling untrustworthy China and the selfish U.S.

Yet, as the LDP also announced its own consumption tax increase plan, the LDP cannot be also easily trusted.

Moreover, IMF has recently recommended Japan to raise a consumption tax rate to 15% from 5%. The U.S. might be behind this movement. That may be why Mr. Sadakazu Tanigaki, president of the LDP, launched his proposal of the tax increase, as the LDP is still so close to the U.S.

Anyway, Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan must face difficult months ahead, while the DPJ plans to hold a periodic convention this September to authorize continuation of Mr. Kan's leadership or choose another leader who is to replace Mr. Kan as prime minister, too. Yet, Mr. Kan's arch rival, Mr. Ichiro Ozawa, seems to have a less chance to be elected as new leader, since he has various legal problems in political fund handling.

Finally, I still feel anger of the God directed to the Japanese politics.

SECTION II: Keynes and Hitler

John Maynard Keynes defended Germany after WWI which ended in 1918.

He claimed that too heavy demands for wartime reparations to Germany would result in wild inflation in Germany, causing adversary effects on whole Europe.

The Keynes' claim was rejected by European authorities, but his name prevailed.

The key to understanding the situation is that factories and plants within territories of Germany were left safe and undamaged unlike those in France.

Accordingly, recovery of Germany after WWI depended on how to activate industrial operation through monetary policy.

Conquering a hyper inflation, Germany succeeded in their recovery efforts.

The keys are successful issuance of national bonds and realization of the multiple effect. Incidentally, this recovery is said to be the only case in the history that the multiple effect was truly realized.

There seem to be many valuable lessons in the era of Keynes and Hitler.

It is especially so, since both Keynes and Hitler tackled the unemployment issue. Hitler solved the unemployment in Germany after the World War One, by virtually applying the Keynes' theory.

Government bonds can be a means to collect money from rich people. This money can be spent for public works targeting poor people and offering jobs to them. This scheme really worked well in Germany after the World War One.

But, consumption tax works as a means to collect money from poor people. This money can be spent for public projects where rich people also invest to get profits. This scheme can result in a widening gap between the rich and the poor.

Note that Japan's economic problem is more complicated, since any measures must be first tested if it is effective to cope with 20-year long deflation caused by a huge influx of cheap Chinese goods and intensified international competition spurred by economic globalization based on the IT revolution.

SECTION III: Hitler and the DPJ

The Democratic Party of Japan took power last summer from the conservative, very pro-American LDP and the Buddhist party New Komeito.

However, the DPJ did not immediately try to promote transfer of wealth from the rich to the poor. Yet, when Hitler took power, he immediately implemented strong measures to impose heavy tax on the rich and decrease the number of the unemployed.

The DPJ decided to provide money for families raising children regardless of an income level of parents. Hitler also provided money for families raising children, but he did it under a condition that parents should be poor to receive allowance.

Like Keynes, Hitler thought the most important mission for a government is to lessen the number of unemployed citizens. It is beyond a tactics level for winning an election.

However, the DPJ supported by various labor unions in Japan looks like being indifferent to a plight jobless people are suffering in the rich society of Japan.

The Unemployment Rate:

JAPAN: 5.08% (2010)
UK: 7.46% (2009)
Germany: 8.62% (2010)
France: 9.39% (2009)
USA: 9.41% (2010)
China: 9.4% (estimated for city workers at the end of 2008)

Finally, the DPJ has no intention to carry out a revolution like Hitler, though Hitler's revolution turned to be so evil as never seen before.

The DPJ lawmakers may think that they are socialistic heroes, which they are not at all. Labor union members who support the DPJ want simply business success of companies where they work.

It is not an unemployment rate but a matter of justice and spirit that must be focused on in Japan unlike Hitler's Germany after WWI.

Augmentation or Attenuation?

Jesus Christ did not teach everybody He met.

He apparently chose those He would teach.

Not randomly, He must have also selected His disciples.

Truly, an election is important, for voters have to choose a candidate(s).

But, of one of the worst types might be those ambitious, simply ambitious in politics.

SECTION I: Al Pacino

Yesterday, a cable TV station serving around Tokyo presented an interview program with Alfredo James "Al" Pacino by CBS.

I sometimes confuse Dustin Hoffman with Al Pacino. But, the former cannot play a Mafia member. Yet, I sometimes confuse Dustin Hoffman with Al Pacino.

Indeed, Godfather and All the President's Men were two big hits of an era for each, even in Japan decades ago.

Dustin Hoffman can access the White House, though Al Pacino might be rejected by the Vatican.

I suppose that a decade ago or so Dustin Hoffman made an appearance on the Larry King Live as I watched it on the PC screen connected to the Internet. It was not Al Pacino, I think now.

By the way, a Japanese female politician happened to claim that she had been once interviewed by Mr. Larry King. Ms. Yuriko Koike, a popular lawmaker (of the LDP presently) since 1992 and former Defence Minister of Japan, recently wrote on Twitter that she had appeared on the Larry King Live show with notable Japanese businessman Mr. Kenichi Omae around 1993.

Incidentally, I did not know that Al Pacino had been worrying about his unstable position while Godfather was under production. He thought that he could have been fired at any moment if he had made a mistake in the play, though he thought Godfather was a trash. He did not act with confidence at all.

Anyway, Godfather, All the President's Men, and Apocalypse Now must have been very impressive to young people even in Japan in early 1970's, late 1970', and around 1980.

Those young Japanese are now in leading positions of the society, political parties, and the government as veteran players.

SECTION II: Japanese Political Parties at Glance

SECTION III: Consumption Tax Raise or China Handling?

A few weeks before the start of official campaign for the Upper House election this July, P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan suddenly proposed a consumption tax raise.

However, the opposition LDP had already included a consumption tax raise in its campaign pledge.

Of course, there is a big difference between a proposal by a prime minister and a pledge by an opposition party.

What's more, the way P.M. Mr. Kan took up this issue looked somehow unfair, since he had never discussed the issue in sessions of the National Diet. P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan did not show his respect for the National Diet as he closed the Diet session as early as possible without raising the tax increase.

So, this series of incidents concerning the proposal of a consumption tax raise had an influence on credibility of P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan.

But, this is not a decisive factor, since it was just a matter in a few weeks before the election. Prior to the premiership of Mr. Kan, former P.M. Mr. Yukio Hatoyama led the Japanese Government for eight months. If the Hatoyama Cabinet showed a great performance, a few mistakes by new P.M. Mr. Kan must have been overlooked.

For eight months after the regime change last summer, the Japanese voters watched how improperly then P.M. Mr. Hatoyama managed the Japan-U.S. relationship. He was almost insulted in an international conference held in America. He could not do anything with the Toyota's problem in the American market. On the other hand, Mr. Hatoyama did not show any resolute stance against China threatening Japan in terms of security and business relationships. This was the most frequently reported issue by the media to the Japanese audiences.

For months before the resignation of P.M. Mr. Hatoyama, Japanese voters watched how improperly Mr. Hatoyama managed the Japan-U.S. relationship as well as the Japan-China relationship.

And, now his successor first welcomed with a 60% approval rating started to fumble with a stupid tax increase proposal aided by a stupid economist, damaging his credibility, toward the 7-11-2010 election. P.M. Mr. Kan's approval rating is now about 36%.

How can P.M. Mr. Kan manage better the Japan-U.S. relationship as well as the Japan-China relationship, while prosperity of Japanese depends on trade with the U.S. and China but not on change in tax rates? Every company employee in Japan understands that their future will be critically influenced by the U.S. and China in terms of security and economy while China's GDP, accurate or window-dressing, is getting closer to Japan's.

Japanese voters came to think that P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan might lack ability to manage well the Japan-China relationship, since he foolishly proposed the 5% consumption tax increase.

In the 30-8-2009 Lower-House election, the DPJ led by Mr. Hatoyama garnered 29,844,799 votes in proportional-representation constituencies.

The Your Party established by ex-LDP lawmakers won 3,005,199 in the same election.

In the 11-07-2010 Upper-House election, the DPJ garnered 18,450,140 votes in the proportional-representation (national) constituency.

The Your Party established by ex-LDP lawmakers won 7,943,650 in the same election.

The LDP lost 11.4 million votes. The Your party added 4.9 million votes.

So, there are 10 million swing votes in Japan, or 5 million unaffiliated voters who could decide the case.

Indeed, the hegemony over the Government must be taken by lawmakers from bureaucrats. And, the hegemony over national elections must be taken by independent voters from political parties.

This is the first strategy for the revolution to enhance quality of Japan.

"He is a good man: others said, Nay"

(An Air Field, Rice Fields, and the Second Wave?; Around Tokyo, photos taken by EEE Reporter)

Without A Dictatorial Leader

The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) of Japan that had led the nation as the most powerful party till the last summer is now supported by only 24% of voters as proven in this Upper-House election (though winning 51 seats among 121 contested, for surprising success in local election districts).

On the other hand, the Democratic Party of Japan (DJP) that is now leading the nation with Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan is supported by only 32% of voters as proven in this Upper-House election (though winning only 44 seats among 121 contested, for big failures in local election districts).

It can be interpreted that 24% of the Japanese enjoy modern capitalism and 32% do not if they accept it, though reality is not so simple.

Anyway, Japanese voters can alternately authorize the LDP and the DPJ in each election.

For your reference, the LDP is said to be close to the U.S. Republican Party, the DPJ to the U.S. Democratic Party.

SECTION I: Truth of the Chinese Bubble

On December 25, 2009, the Bureau of Statistics of the Chinese Government announced, as usual, that the estimated growth of GDP for 2008 would be increased from 9.0% to 9.6%.

This increase is almost equivalent to GDP of Malaysia.

As this sort of frequent GDP-adjustment practice by the Chinese Government suggests, statistical figures made public by China are very untrustworthy.

There are some circumstantial evidences about the deceptive nature of the Chinese economy.

- Export accounts for 40% of China's GDP while 15% for Japan's.

- There is a special tax system in China called the drawback for duties paid on goods exported. The more a Chinese company exports goods, the more it will receive money as a drawback allowance from the Government.

- To get more money from the Government, Chinese exporters must be officially filing their export data with inflated figures of sales. This can inflate China's GDP easily from 9.0% to 9.6%.

Moreover, in order to suppress social instability, the Chinese Government has to keep a high growth rate and a low unemployment rate. Accordingly, banks in China, all under direct control of the Communist Party and the Chinese Government, invest a huge amount of money into public works and new business. However, a large portion of these funds are flowing into the stock market and the real estate market in cities, without raising a salary level and a consumption level of a majority of poor workers, just causing bubbles already locally.

If Chinese farmers and poor workers, whose number can be 800 million, cannot consume enough products, China will face an extremely difficult situation due to excess domestic production and frequently occurring local bubbles, no matter how artfully or boldly they manipulate a GDP figure.

Nonetheless, China has to continue to exist with its 1300 million population. The solution seems to be steady and moderate growth over decades. While keeping a gap between the rich and the poor smaller, Chinese economy should progress.

Yet, at a certain point a majority of the Chinese people will come to request democracy so as not to be sacrificed by the rich and the Communist Party. It might be accompanied by the burst of a huge bubble. But after that, China will be no more a disturbing factor in the world. They might even start to live humbly in the material term, learning some religious and spiritual value especially from Japan.

So, it is critically important for Japan to develop more its spiritual culture the Chinese people cannot help but respect more than the American material wealth.

For this purpose, the Japanese Government must be constituted by those who love Japanese spiritual traditions as well as poor citizens in the nation.

SECTION II: Composition of Japanese Voters

The number of total ballots cast for the proportional-representation constituency or national constituency is 58,453,437 in this 11-07-2010 Upper-House election.

They are largely grouped into two camps: one led by the ruling DPJ and another led by the opposition LDP.

Voters who support the following parties are characterized by a mind set of being very pro-Chinese, anti-American, anti-nationalism, anti-war, socialistic, radically liberal/progressive, not rich, or poor, or otherwise anti-reformation of the postal service.

-------
Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ): 18,450,140
Communist Party: 3,563,556
Socialist Party: 2,242,735
People's New Party: 1,000,036...with ex-LDP lawmakers

Total: 25,256,467

-------

Voters who support the following parties are characterized by a mind set of being anti-Chinese, very pro-American, conservative, traditional, moderately liberal/progressive, rich, or not poor, or otherwise pro-reformation of the postal service.

-------
Liberal Democratic Party (LDP): 14,071,671
Your Party: 7,943,649...with ex-LDP lawmakers
SPJ (Tachiagare): 1,232,207...with ex-LDP lawmakers
NPR (Kaikaku): 1,172,395...with ex-LDP lawmakers
SJP (Soshin): 493,619...with ex-LDP lawmakers
New Komeito: 7,639,432...under the Sokagakkai Buddhist body

Total: 32,552,973

-------

In summary, the number of socialistic, very pro-Chinese, or anti-postal service privatization voters is about 25 million.

The number of conservative, very pro-American, or pro-postal service privatization voters is about 33 million.

So, pro-American Japanese is 10% more than pro-Chinese Japanese, which can be a decisive factor in a critical election, though in the 30-8-2009 general election the former won as the DPJ garnered 308 Lower-House seats.

It is because most of Japanese non-committed voters who are conservative and pro-American supported the DPJ in the 2009 election as they had found that the LDP Cabinet could not manage well the pension fund system in 2007.

*** *** *** ***

According to the mainstream Japanese media, the approval rating of Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan has fallen to 36%, though it was above 60% a month and half ago.

It is a general public opinion that P.M. Mr. Kan and his DPJ have lost the 11-07-2010 national election conducted on July 11, since the ruling parties, namely the DPJ, the Your Party, and a very minor one, have now only 110 seats in total 242 in the Upper House while 7 seats short of a 2/3 privileged majority in the Lower House.

It is time for Mr. Kan and other leaders of the DPJ to be afraid of the God.

Indeed, it cannot be easy to enhance quality of Japanese politicians enough to lead the U.S. and China. As the first step, they must be humbled.

Anyway, it is better to observe ballot counting objectively outside a TV station or a party headquarters.

"And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise"

(The election was over...One of the most unnoticeable election billboards around Tokyo...Everybody returned?)

Facing a Different World the World Cannot Yet See

If Mr. Bill Clinton had been replaced before the 1996 Presidential Election, the 9/11-2001 Terror could have been prevented.

If Mr. George W. Bush had been replaced before the 2004 Presidential Election, the 9/15-2008 Lehman Shock could have been avoided.

To avoid another Greece crisis and coming Chinese bubble burst, it would be necessary to change leaders of Germany and China.

So, Japan is now coping with this rapidly changing global situation by appointing a new prime minister as the situation changes in these years.

Japan would even conduct a national election every year, since it has the second largest and advanced economy in the world.

SECTION I: Aftermath of Japan's National Election

Some critics say, "I cannot still find what the agenda for the election was."

Others say, "The point at issue was not a proposal for a 5% tax increase by P.M. Kan, since the opposition LDP has also proposed the similar 5% increase plan."

The decisive factors for the 7-11-2010 election must be as follows:
1. How much better can the Kan Cabinet handle China and the U.S.?

(Local people unlike Tokyo voters are afraid of a random intrusion of Chinese people on their places, though local sight-seeing businesses welcome Chinese visitors nowadays.)

2. How much better can the Kan Cabinet handle the state of national economy?

3. How much better can the Kan Cabinet improve democracy in Japan?

Totally, the ability of P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan and other leaders of the DPJ as a politician became a focal point for Japanese voters when considering whom and what party they would support.

P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan and the DPJ might be led by the nose by sly Chinese leaders.

P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan and the DPJ might make the Japan-U.S. relationship worse.

(The U.S. Marine Corps' relocation issue is yet to be fully fixed for the Okinawa people.)

P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan and the DPJ might not be able to manage national finance and economy.

P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan and the DPJ might neglect rules and justice without complying principles of democracy and traditions of the society.

What summarizes and symbolizes these concerns is the proposal for a 5% consumption tax increase publicly announced by P.M. Kan a few weeks before the start of the official election campaign period.

So, in total, P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan and the DPJ lost the 7-11-2010 Upper-House election.

But, this victory of the former ruling party LDP does not promise their early comeback to power, though the LDP's gaining of 51 seats against DPJ's 44 seats was beyond imagination and forecasts by all the Japanese media.

The question to be considered now is however whether or not Japanese politicians and critics now understand what the agenda for the election was.

SECTION II: Kan or Ozawa?

The most serious concern among the Japanese media is, however, whether or not ex-Director General of the ruling party DPJ Mr. Ichiro Ozawa can replace Mr. Naoato Kan as head of the party and thus prime minister in the coming party convention scheduled in September.

Very veteran lawmaker Mr. Ozawa is now in a complicated situation. He has been accused of illegal handling of huge political funds. In several weeks, it is expected that the Committees for the Inquest of Prosecution will decide on whether he shall be officially prosecuted or not.

Put simply, Mr. Ozawa is less suitable for the Japanese prime minister than Mr. Kan is.

Yet, without his support, it is apparent, Mr. Kan cannot sufficiently unify and manage the party and its members. It is so, since the Democratic Party of Japan is full of the amateur class of just ambitious politicians. If the Liberal Democratic Party is a Major League Baseball team, the DPJ is one of the AAA class, in terms of a level of quality and performance.

So, it looks like logical to think that the Kan Cabinet getting less popular continues with help from Mr. Ozawa, a Lower-House member since 1969, for several months to get the 2011 budget package passed in next March or so.

And then, opposition parties led by the LDP will start to press P.M. Mr. Kan so hard, requesting dissolution of the House of Representatives or the Lower House and implementation of a general election.

If an approval rating for P.M. Mr. Kan should be too low at the time, somebody except Mr. Ozawa might replace Mr. Kan and enter the election. In this case, Japan has a national election next year, too. And, a new prime minister will attend the next G8, representing Japan.

Yet, it is still unknown if Mr. Sadakazu Tanigaki, the incumbent president of the LDP, will attend the G8 Summit of 2011 as new Japanese prime minister.

It depends on how much ability Mr. Tanigaki, a veteran Lower-House member since 1983, will prove and demonstrate in these months.

Nonetheless, the whole proceeding in the coming period of time largely rests on elite bureaucrats in Tokyo, though they are also influenced by business leaders and top executives of economic organizations of Japan who get big profits from the American market and the Asian market (including China) as well as the domestic one.

Early this morning I heard a heavy voice saying, "The Birth Day!"

Yes, I have my own birth day, like Jesus Christ and all the other persons.

Yet, the spirit did not make it clear whose birth day it is.

Jesus Christ was born in December according to the Vatican, but scientifically it is believed that he was born in early spring.

Maybe the world is going to be ended on a birthday of somebody.

But what should I do? Everyday can be a birthday of somebody. So, what should I do? Indeed, there is only one or two birthdays that might matter.

Accordingly, a big thing might not occur in the world until December 25 or so.

When was Mother Mary born? September 8?

"and made them white in the blood of the Lamb"

(Mission Completed, July 11, 2010, around Tokyo)

Luxury of Japan

It is wrong to have one citizen of a nation occupy the seat of the president or the prime minister for more than one year.

It is against the Christian teaching that everybody is equal before the God.

How evil it is that most of countries in the world, contaminated by false Christianity, allow their presidents and prime ministers to monopolize the highest seat in the nation for more than one year without yearly check.

But, Japan is different.

Japan is the most advanced nation in this context. Japan does not need to ask its prime minister to continue his duty for more than one year, in principle.

Change is the key essence of democracy. Only Japan has capacity and luxury needed for a nation to fulfill this condition.

Of course, if a prime minister or a president is extremely excellent and righteous, he may continue his duty for two or more years through an yearly check even if in Japan.

SECTION I: War, Love, and Election

The results of the 22nd Ordinary Upper House election of Japan have surprised the Japanese people themselves.

Probably, Washington and Beijing must be surprised, too.

Note that Japan's ruling party DPJ is very pro-Chinese, while the major opposition LDP is very pro-American.

Hence, even elite bureaucrats in Tokyo were so much surprised that the conservative LDP alone could defeat the socialistic DPJ.

Subsection I-1: Forecasts vs. Results

The Asahi Shimbun's Forecasts vs. Actual Votes Obtained:

Contested Total: 121

DPJ...49...44...(a ruling party)
LDP...44...51
New Komeito...8...9
Communist Party...4...3
New People's Party...1...0...(a ruling party)
NPR (Kaikaku)...1...1
SDP...1...2
SPJ (Tachiagare)...1...1
Your Party...11...10
HRP (Kohuku)...0...0
Other Parties...0...0
Independent...1...0

If the LDP had succeeded in maintaining its integrity and support from Japanese voters since the era of Former Prime Minister Mr. Junichiro Koizumi, it would have 58 candidates elected, though it was split in these years into the current LDP, the New People's Party, the NPR, the SPJ, and the Your Party.

Accordingly, Democratic Party of Japan 44 - 63 Previous LDP Camp

Or, Progressive 44 - 63 Conservative

(If divided like in the last era of Mr. Koizumi,
DPJ + New People's Party 44 - 72 LDP + New Komeito,
which is a clear victory for the pro-American LDP camp.
Japanese voters have shown their concern about a diplomatic stance of the ruling DPJ.)

However, in reality, it has been confirmed that the DPJ led by P.M. Mr. Kan, though just with 44 winners, is the relative leading party in the House of Councilors (the Upper House or "Sangi-in" in Japanese). Hence, Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan is going to maintain his power being supported by a great majority of DPJ lawmakers in the Lower House.

Anyway, you had better not join any of the above parties, since their respect for the God is still insufficient as I checked it for myself.

Subsection I-2: Total Upper House Division

As this election was for the half of 242 seats in the Upper House, the resultant division of the house is as follows:

---------
Total...242

The Ruling Camp: 110
(Democratic Party of Japan,
People's New Party, etc.)

Liberal Democratic Party: 84
New Komeito: 19
Your Party: 11
NPR (Kaikaku): 2
SPJ (Tachiagare): 3

Communist Party: 6

SDP: 4

HRP (Kohuku):1
Other Parties:0
Independent: 2
---------

As it was 7-11-2010 election, the ruling camp settled with a total of 110 seats in the Upper House of the National Diet of Japan.

(If divided like in the last era of Mr. Koizumi,
DPJ + New People's Party, etc. 110 - 119 LDP + New Komeito,
which is a clear victory for the pro-American LDP camp.

However, note that these 119 seats are still short of the majority 122 by 3, if the former LDP + New Komeito camp had the 2/3 majority in the Lower House like the situation after the 9-11-2005 Lower-House election.

In the present Lower House [total 480 seats]:
The DPJ Camp: 311
The former LDP Camp: 126

In summary, Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan of the DPJ has to concede in the Upper House, even if trying to push his policy forcibly in the Lower House.

This is a clear victory for the Japanese democracy and the Japanese people.)

Subsection I-3: Heroes of 7-11-2010

Many LDP Lower-House lawmakers who had been elected in the 9-11-2005 general election owing to then P.M. Mr. Koizumi's aid lost their seats in the last year's semi-revolutionary election conducted on August 30, giving 308 seats to the DPJ led by Mr. Yukio Hatoyama.

Some of them made an entry in this Upper-House election for their coming back to national politics.

Accordingly, Ms. Kuniko Inoguchi (the LDP), Mr. Jiro Ono (the Your Party), Ms. Satsuki Katayama (the LDP), and Ms. Yukari Sato (the LDP) have recovered their seats.

As they are all elite experts in politics or economics or ex-elite bureaucrats, deliberation and discussions in the Japanese parliament will be raised the level of.

However, the shadow of Mr. Junichiro Koizumi, now retired from the National Diet, does not look like so prevailing, though his son Mr. Shinjiro Koizumi, a Lower-House maker in his late 20's, has made a great appealing on the media.

Noe that Japan has modern systems and traditional systems very efficient for counting votes, so that ballots by 104 million voters (with a turn out of 57.92%) could be swiftly checked and counted almost within 5 hours after the poll closing.

Ballot total in the proportional-representation (national) district:
---------
DPJ - 18,450,140
People's New Party - 1,000,036

(Subtotal: about 19,450,000)

LDP - 14,071,671
New Komeito - 7,639,432
Your Party - 7,943,650
NPR (Kaikaku) - 1,172,395
SPJ (Tachiagare) - 1,232,207

(Subtotal: about 32,960,000)

SDP - 2,242,736
Communist Party - 3,563,557
---------

Finally, 20 million Japanese support the very pro-Chinese Kan Cabinet, while 33 million Japanese want a very pro-American government in Japan.

Silver works against bacterium, though it is yet to scientifically fully explain why it does.

Platinum works against cancer, though it is yet to scientifically fully explain why it does.

Historically Japan produced a large quantity of silver (Gin in Japanese).

Japan produces only a minimal amount of platinum (Hakkin [white gold] in Japanese) in the form of platinum dust or alluvial platinum in sands.

So, it might be better to have silver and platinum than gold only.

It might be ideal structure of the Japanese political community.

Communist Party...4

However, in reality, it is expected that the DPJ led by P.M. Mr. Kan, with possible 49 winners, will be the relative leading party if without an absolute majority in the House of Councilors (the Upper House or "Sangi-in" in Japanese). SECTION I: Islam and China

Islam could not penetrate into China.

--------
The Battle of Talas in 751 AD was a conflict between the Arab Abbasid Caliphate and the Chinese Tang Dynasty for control of the Syr Darya. On July 751, The Abbasids started a massive attack against the Chinese on the banks of the Talas river; 200,000 Muslim troops (according to Chinese estimates) met the combined army of 10,000 Tang Chinese and 20,000 Karluks mercenary. Out of 10,000 Tang troops, only 2000 managed to return from Talas to their territory in Central Asia.
...
It is of interest to note that the Battle of Talas is often seen as the key event in the history of paper - the technological transmission of the paper-making process. After the battle of Talas, knowledgeable Chinese prisoners of war were ordered to produce paper in Samarkand, or so the story goes.[14] In fact, high quality paper had been known – and made – in Central Asia for centuries; a letter on paper survives from the fourth century to a merchant in Samarkand. But the Islamic conquest of Central Asia in the late seventh and early eighth centuries opened up this knowledge for the first time to what became the Muslim world, and so by the year 794 AD, paper manufacturing could be found in Baghdad, modern-day Iraq. The technology of paper making was thus transmitted to and revolutionised the Islamic world, and later the European West.[15]

--------

Islam did not win respect from Chinese unlike the case of Buddhism.

SECTION II: Christianity and China

Christianity could not penetrate into China.

--------
The Li–Lobanov Treaty or the Sino-Russian Secret Treaty was a treaty signed on June 3, 1896 in Moscow by foreign minister Alexey Lobanov-Rostovsky and finance minister Sergey Witte on behalf of the Russian Empire and viceroy Li Hongzhang on behalf of China. The two powers concluded a defensive alliance against Japan, pledging mutual support in case of a Japanese attack.

The treaty allowed Russia to increase its presence in Northeast China as Russian personnel and police received extraterritorial jurisdiction. It allowed the use of Chinese ports by Russia in the case of war and China's consent to the construction of the China Eastern Railway (a part of the Trans-Siberian Railway). The railway was nominally a joint project, but was in reality completely financed and controlled by Russia.

China was also not allowed to interfere with Russian troop movements or munitions and also had to grant Russia decreased tariff rates. Russia's other major demand was delivered in true gunboat diplomacy fashion by a naval fleet in December 1897. China was forced to lease the southern tip of the Liaotung Peninsula to Russia and allow a railway line to be built connecting it to the main Russian line.

Construction of the Russian railroads in China increased the anti-foreign anger that came to a head in the Boxer rebellion of 1900. Chinese historians view the period between the Li–Lobanov Treaty and the outbreak of the Russo-Japanese War in 1904 as the time of Russia's domination of the Chinese Northeast region, in political and economical terms.

European Christianity did not win respect from Chinese unlike the case of Buddhism.

SECTION III: Judaist Philosophy and China

Judaist Philosophy, namely Marxism, has prevailed in China very profoundly.

--------
Maoism's political orientation emphasizes the "revolutionary struggle of the vast majority of people against the exploiting classes and their state structures", which Mao termed a "People's War". Usually involving peasants, its military strategies have involved guerrilla war tactics focused on surrounding the cities from the countryside, with a heavy emphasis on political transformation through mass involvement of the lower classes of society.

Maoism departs from conventional European-inspired Marxism in that its focus is on the agrarian countryside, rather than the industrial urban forces. This is known as Agrarian socialism. Notably, Maoist parties in Peru, Nepal and Philippines have adopted equal stresses on urban and rural areas, depending on the country's focus of economic activity. Maoism broke with the state capitalist framework of the Soviet Union under Nikita Khrushchev and dismisses it as modern revisionism, a traditional pejorative term among communists referring to those who fight for capitalism in the name of socialism.

In its post-revolutionary period, Mao Zedong Thought is defined in the CPC's Constitution as "Marxism-Leninism applied in a Chinese context", synthesized by Mao Zedong and China's "first-generation leaders". It asserts that class struggle continues even if the proletariat has already overthrown the bourgeoisie, and there are capitalist restorationist elements within the Communist Party itself. Maoism provided the CCP's first comprehensive theoretical guideline with regards to how to continue socialist revolution, the creation of a socialist society, socialist military construction, and highlights various contradictions in society to be addressed by what is termed "socialist construction". While it continues to be lauded to be the major force that defeated "imperialism and feudalism" and created a "New China" by the Communist Party of China, the ideology survives only in name on the Communist Party's Constitution; Deng Xiaoping abolished most Maoist practices in 1978, advancing a guiding ideology called "Socialism with Chinese characteristics.[3]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maoism
--------

As European Marxist Judaists, including Karl Max, never denied their enjoying high-standard of living as elites in the party, the society, and the a nation, today's Chinese system absorbing capitalism riches do not contradict its adaption of Marxism as the principle of power structure.

For Karl Marx, Marxism is a means for Judaists to control European Christians superseding authority of the Vatican. The last phase of this movement involves complete demolition of the European Christian culture. That is why Mao Tse-tung carried out the Cultural Revolution to destroy historical legacy of China.

Yet, Mao Tse-tung's successors never failed in understanding that European Marxist Judaists, including Karl Max, never denied their enjoying high-standard of living as elites in the party, the society, and the a nation.

In this way, Judaists philosophy has prevailed in China very profoundly.

SECTION IV: American Democratic Christianity and Japan

After WWII, brave and clever Japanese people found that what was lacked critically in Japan was American Christian Democracy.

Accordingly, they accepted the Pacifist Constitution whose original text had been drafted by young American Christian officers who had came to Tokyo accompanying General MacArthur after the end of WWII.

Even today's nationalists of Japan do not fully deny the value of the Pacifist Constitution, since they are now free from unbearable pressure of samurai military traditions.

Almost nobody reads the Bible in Japan. But, everybody lives under authority of the Pacifist Constitution whose original text had been drafted by young American Christian officers who had came to Tokyo accompanying General MacArthur after the end of WWII.

It is so since after WWII, brave and clever Japanese people found that what was lacked critically in Japan was American Christian Democracy.

Moreover, when the Japanese people master democratic Christianity more righteously than Americans, the Japanese people will abolish the present Constitution and formulate new one to teach America and the world how Christianity should be incorporated in democracy.

It is so, since they are all Christian nations, nominally or substantially, the U.S., Canada, the U.K., France, Germany, Italy, Russia, etc.

Today, we had a sun shine as there were less rain clouds than usual here around Tokyo.

I could even see a star in the evening. It was like Mars but a little twinkling. Then I saw a white smaller star twinkling in a gap of clouds. Subsequently I could spot two or so stars, but no more, since it was the sky of the rainy season.

Tomorrow, on Sunday, almost 100 million voters are expected to go for voting, though a turnout will be less than 60% (about 9.6 million voters have already made early voting). Three years ago, it was 58.64 % for the 21st ordinary Upper House election.

My opinion is that we have to decrease the costs for one National Diet member, about $1.2 million per year now, to one third while doubling the number of lawmakers. Then with total costs two thirds of today's, we will have twice more lawmakers. But, they are trying to half the number of lawmakers while keeping the current cost level, which is very dangerous. We do not need elites in a legislative body, but our representatives as many as possible.

SECTION I: Cyber Attacks

A big difference between a TV set and a PC is that the former is free from cyber attacks, including viruses and hackers.

It is because a TV set simply receives electric waves which include information of images, sounds, and other simple data (in case of digital broadcasting).

The main function of a TV set can be realized without using computer software. But, a PC cannot function without software, such as the Windows OS and other various programs, in which viruses can be included and through which a hacker can intrude in the PC.

----------

Virtually Here: The Age of Cyber Warfare

...
The most obvious of these attacks was the August 2008 cyber campaign against Georgia during the South Ossetia War.
...
If a major cyber conflict between nationstates were to erupt, it is very likely that the private sector would get caught in the crossfire.
...
As millions of Americans all over the world celebrated their nation’s independence over the July 4th holiday weekend, Web sites belonging to their government were bombarded with access requests, slowing and sometimes blocking access to the sites.

These denial-of-service attacks targeted the White House, Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Secret Service, National Security Agency, Federal Trade Commission, Department of the Treasury, Department of Defense and the Department of State, as well as the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq, Amazon and Yahoo.
...
The following Tuesday, 11 Web sites of the South Korean government were brought down by the same network of 50,000 computers used in the attacks on the United States. South Korean intelligence officials blamed North Korea as the source of the attacks, an allegation that was reported by the Associated Press. Suddenly a lot more people started paying attention.
...
Many of the Web sites were able to return to their usual business within a few hours. Some security experts and policymakers concluded that the attacks were no more than a nuisance to the people of the United States and South Korea, regardless of whether North Korea was responsible
...
From what has been reported in the media, it appears that nation-states are engaging in cyber espionage on a massive scale. From around 2002 to 2005, for instance, an unknown source managed to download 10 to 20 terabytes of information from a sensitive, but unclassified, U.S. Department of Defense network in an episode code-named "Titan Rain." To put this amount of information in perspective, consider that digital copies of all the books (more than 18 million) in the U.S. Library of Congress would represent 20 terabytes of data.
...
Today, once a hacker gains access to a system, it may be a relatively simple transition from downloading data to sabotaging it. According to Richard Clarke, "The distinction between intelligence collection and damage to systems is a few keystrokes."

SECTION II: Global Cooling or Jet Stream

Recently, the subtropical jet stream has caused heat waves in Europe, China, and North America.

But, it might not imply further global warming.

Global Cooling: Science and Myth

Worried about climate change? Have no fear, the planet is getting colder at least according to some. This is more than speculation by skeptics: According to the World Meteorological Organization, global average temperature spiked in 1998 and has been in a cooling trend since then. Sure, 2008 was the 10th-warmest year on record since 1850, but if climate change is really happening, then shouldn't 2008 have been warmer than 1998? After all, greenhouse gas concentrations in 2008 were at an all time high. If you work in the fields of climate or weather, chances are you have heard this argument before.

One Loser or Two Losers for Hopes?

The 1012 U.S. Primary Election will be a difficult one as with the coming midterm election.

In Japan, the on-going Upper-House election is very difficult for most of politicians, critics, and non-affiliates.

But, the two major parties, namely pro-China socialistic DPJ and pro-American conservative LDP, look like going to fail, respectively.

They both uphold a rise of the consumption tax rate from 5% to 10% in near future to improve a state of national finance but not to combat deflation.

What is needed for Japan is a steady 4% GDP growth to be achieved without destroying the nature and culture of Japan.

And, the true masters behind the scene, that is elite bureaucrats of the central government, will also lose in the coming national election, since they have chosen the 5% tax increase rather than the 4% economic growth.

This will be a good lesson to the world.

(And a friend offering an umbrella in a rainy day when you look like a poor loser is a true friend unlike a false friend who offers two or more umbrellas for your choice in a rainy day when you look so promising with so many friends.

In a certain foreign company in Tokyo, there are many who would try to take away your umbrella in a rainy day when you look like a poor loser...though the company has some reputation globally.)

SECTION I: Three to Go

On the coming Sunday, the Japanese voters are going to show how much they support Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan and the Democratic Party of Japan.

The world was surprised last summer at the regime change in Japan. Mr. Yukio Hatoyama was welcomed by China, South Korea, and other progressive or anti-American camps in the world. However, after admitting his naive view on the Japanese security issue as well as a plummeting approval rating, Prime Minister Mr. Hatoyama stepped down in early June, taking along then controversial Secretary General of the DPJ Mr. Ichiro Ozawa.

In a subsequent summary party election for the head of the DPJ, Mr. Naoto Kan was so elected and assumed the office of premiership accordingly. So, just 10 months after the great regime change in Japan from a very pro-American Cabinet to an anti-American capitalism Cabinet, Japanese voters are requested to approve new Prime Minister Mr. Kan for his one-month performance.

But, what P.M. Mr. Kan is appealing to Japanese citizens with is just a 5% rise of the consumption tax aimed at financial reform. However, it has gradually come to be known by the Japanese people that P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan is very amateur in terms of economy, public finance, and national security. But, what has he learnt since he was elected as Lower-House member of the National Diet in 1980 when he was 34 years old? Just how to survive and continue to be elected?

Yet, it is reportedly said that it is anarchic philosophy that P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan has really studied. He thinks that it is the best that each country in the world gets disintegrated. A central government of each country should be disbanded. Only municipality and local administrative agencies should be allowed to exist and function. Globally, the United Nations or its successor should supervise the whole world according to necessity. Peoples in the world must be free from the old paradigm of a nation. They must stop belonging to a nation. They must become freed citizens from the traditional concept of a nation and its people.

This is a pattern observed in how the Chinese Communist Party established its power over mainland China and the North Korean Workers' Party occupied the north part of the Korean Peninsula.

They all claimed that every tradition and custom in the society was evil and thus should be destroyed. Old culture and religion should not be respected. Only what the party taught was precious and true. Based on this doctrine, the Chinese Communist Party established its power over mainland China and the North Korean Workers' Party occupied the north part of the Korean Peninsula.

In denying a traditional identification of the people with the history and the culture of a nation, P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan is close to leaders of the Chinese Communist Party and the North Korean Workers' Party, at least in terms of philosophy.

Of course, P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan is not a fool. He understands that such philosophy cannot be accepted by the Japanese people. In his long career, Mr. Kan never acted like an anarchist, though he has had some ties with Japanese leftists who support North Korea and China.

P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan is not a fool. His inclination to anarchic philosophy is just a level of literature but not of real politics. It seems that as he cannot find more merit or splendor in the Japanese traditional culture, he has opted for Western leftist philosophy. And, this is a pattern found in Japanese elite leftists and Marxists.

One top leader of the Japanese Communist Party has been living like a nobleman being served by some servants in a villa while writing many papers and articles against Japanese capitalism and cursing conservative elites.

P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan will surely take his rich life rather than destroy Japanese capitalism. But, he still cannot find supreme merit and splendor in the Japanese culture and history that are the key to economic and industrial success of Japan.

There were many such youths in Japan in the era of the Vietnam War. But, all of them left universities and the era to work in businesses, public agencies, or various fields in the society. However, only a few of former anti-Vietnam War students have survived and advanced into national politics. One of them is now prime minister of Japan. So, Mr. Naoto Kan probably cannot deny his past and his inclination to extremely liberal philosophy.

Yet in the worst case P.M. Mr. Naotoa Kan and some other ministers in his Cabinet of his generation would not praise past political practices by Mr. Kim Jong-il who has been enjoying extremely rich life while millions of North Korean citizens are starving. But, the Kan Cabinet might put energy more into implementing anti-conservative measures than into saving poor people and realizing social justice.

P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan should think that the modern anarchic philosophy was studied and established in Europe. Accordingly, such philosophy appeals to some Japanese who cannot appreciate great merit and splendor of the Japanese culture and history. But, European philosophy itself is incomplete and almost evil if it is not an legitimate extension of Christianity. Marxism itself is not an exception, if it is based on Judaism.

P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan should study history and culture of Japan and the world more humbly.

Nonetheless, P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan seems to have ability to respect Japanese traditions like ordinary citizens. He is not like a crazy philosopher or a brain-washed leftist politician who hates Japanese traditions so much due to their instinctive hatred to Japanese militarism and nationalism having been unnaturally and unthinkably exhorted and exercised during WWII.

In summary, it is for the first time that Japan has such a prime minister as has an inclination toward anarchic philosophy if at the level of literature or daydream.

(Former P.M. Mr. Yukio Hatoyama has an inclination toward ideal of the Freemason philosophy if at the level of literature or daydream.)

Note that issue behind the Kan regime is when and how Japanese conservative camps will recover, since they had real power over half a century after WWII till the last summer.

Note also that some notable pro-Ozawa critics who supported the last summer's regime change are now expecting that senior politician Mr. Ichiro Ozawa to take over from Mr. Naoto Kan in the DPJ party convension scheduled this September. They claim that P.M. Mr. Kan has betrayed anti-American and anti-Koizumi friends in order to practically survive and continue his ruling. They even say that Mr. Kan is now subject to America, since P.M. Mr. Kan also has accepted a decision on a U.S. Marine Corps' base issue Former P.M. Mr. Hatoyama made as a kind of concession to America. Mr. Kan now looks like alienating himself from very veteran lawmaker Mr. Ozawa.

Finally, note that China several times invited Mr. Ozawa, Mr. Hatoyama, and Mr. Kan out of impressive goodwill when the pro-American conservative LDP, especially Former P.M. Mr. Junichiro Koizumi, held power.

They say that in Kyrgyzstan a young woman who has studied the Japanese language so much to once visit Japan was lost from her town in a recent turmoil of the nation.

I don't know if she was found or abducted forever, but it is one tragedy being covered by recent big incidents globally and domestically.

So, sometimes pay attentions to countries that once belonged to the former Soviet Union, including Russia.

And, it is a little sorry that Former Prime Minister Mr. Yukio Hatoyama stepped down before recovering the Northern Territories of Japan under occupation by the Soviet Union and Russia since the end of WWII.

"Give not that which is holy unto the dogs"

Cloudy, Rainy, All-Day Wet

Dry, hot, and sun barked is the opposite to the current weather conditions around Tokyo, though temperature is as hot as around 30 degrees Celsius.

We call this rainy season "Tsuyu" in Japanese.

It is actually the fifth season for Japan in addition to the spring, the summer, the autumn, and the winter.

What is the fifth can be treacherous sometimes.

SECTION I: Operation Vengeance in 1943

Last night I happened to check the death of Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, the architect of Japan's naval strategy in the Pacific including the attack on Pearl Harbor, though it was west of Papua New Guinea that he was ambushed fatally during in his flight for a front-line inspection on 18 April 1943.

---------
When American codebreakers found out that he was flying to Bougainville Island to conduct a front-line inspection, 16 P-38G Lightnings were sent on a long-range fighter-intercept mission, flying 435 mi (700 km) from Guadalcanal at heights from 10–50 ft (3–15 m) above the ocean to avoid detection. The Lightnings met Yamamoto's two Mitsubishi G4M "Betty" fast bomber transports and six escorting Zeros just as they arrived. The first Betty crashed in the jungle and the second ditched near the coast. Two Zeros were also claimed by the American fighters with the loss of one P-38. Japanese searchers found Yamamoto's body at the jungle crash site the next day.

---------

However, in fact, six Zero fighters of the Imperial Navy all returned without fatal damages, after shooting down one of 16 P-38s that attacked the fleet of Imperial Naval planes escorting Admiral Yamamoto, to the Imperial Navy base in Rabaul of the New Britain Island.

It is a kind of mystery that only six Zero fighter planes accompanied and convoyed a bomber carrying Admiral Yamamoto (and another with a key staff general on board) while hundreds of fighter planes were stationed and allocated around Rabaul and Papua New Guinea.

It is a kind of mystery that Admiral Yamamoto, so clever as to have succeeded in the Pearl Harbor Attack 17 months before, failed to foresee the danger of being ambushed in the air by U.S. Naval attack planes, though the air route in question had been used so safely by Imperial cargo planes flying between Rabaul and a front base in question till then.

However, details gave clues. The distance Admiral Yamamoto was to fly was linearly about 500 km (310 miles) from Rabaul to the front base, his destination for inspection; the distance U.S. attack planes had to fly was about 600 km (375 miles) in a straight line on one way, but they had to return over the same 600-km air way to an American air base in the Guadalcanal Island. Moreover, to avoid Japanese detection, U.S. planes had to fly more making a detour, which made the ambush impossible, since America had then no fighter planes that could fly so long and so far. Accordingly, the Admiral Yamamoto's bomber plane could not be ambushed. This must be a conclusion by Admiral Yamamoto. Critically, "how can Americans know our flight plan for this front-line inspection?" surely thought Admiral Yamaoto.

Nonetheless, U.S. Navy put an additional fuel tank to each P-38 fighter plane to fly over 1400 km (870 miles) there and back. America also perfectly decoded ciphers the Imperial Navy had been using, even before the Pearl Harbor Attack. Based on information obtained from the decoding, President Roosevelt in the White House approved in person the ambush for, and killing of, Admiral Yamamoto.

So, Admiral Yamamoto must have thought that his mission flight would be completely secretly and safely conducted, since America had no suitable long-distance attack planes while related communications were all done through the highest level of Imperial code language. So, Admiral Yamamoto must have thought that President Roosevelt must have been busy in the White House dealing with Hitler's menace.

Yet the truth was: U.S. Navy put an additional fuel tank to each P-38 fighter plane to fly over 1400 km (870 miles) there and back; America also perfectly decoded ciphers the Imperial Navy had been using, even before the Pearl Harbor Attack; and President Roosevelt in the White House approved in person the ambush for, and killing of, Admiral Yamamoto.

But, the story went on for some involved, especially Japanese pilots of the Zero fighters who disastrously failed in defending Admiral Yamamoto...

Now, what lesson have you learnt?

It is truly difficult to win a battle against the U.S., since they have a technology to make a long-distance attack, an excellent ability to decode ciphers, and a president in the White House in charge in person.

(Note that the 22-Type of Zero fighter plane used by the Imperial Navy in WWII could fly over 2,000 km [3,300 km with an additional fuel tank] at the speed of 530 km/h, though you must not belittle Americans.

http://www.biwa.ne.jp/~yamato/zeke.htm )

(Note also that if I had been the commander of the Imperial combined fleet in WWII, I would not fly out for a front line inspection. When a commander is at a front, a decisive engagement mobilizing full forces at his command must be executed. It must be a war but not an inspection that should have been implemented by the commander 1,100 km distant from American major divisions in the South Pacific Ocean in 1943. Let a captain go to check morale of troops at the front. [Anyway, what should have happened to Admiral Isoroku Yamaoto if he had survived WWII to face the Tokyo Tribunal of War Criminals guided by General MacArthur?])

According to Jesus Christ, we should not blame our brothers.

It is, indeed, very easy to see a fault one's brother has committed.

But, if your brother eventually died in poverty, you had better suspect a plot he was involved in. He might have been in fact neglected to death by smarter guys around him.

If you spent one million dollars to save your brother living far, you cannot save him in such a case.

Truly, a near friend can be more trusted than a brother far.

A man of the same belief can be more entrusted a mission to.

But it is just a fate that you meet a woman who respects you in any situation.

But, your children will not even wonder what person you are critically.

So, leave your family and home town and go to Iraq or Afghanistan to save children contaminated by depleted uranium ammunition the U.S. and U.K. troops have used in this decade.

Decades ago, when I was walking on a Tokyo street in the rainy season, I really felt it was too cool just wearing one long-sleeve dress shirt. That is the most impressive memory about this season in Tokyo in my life. You know, once, you could feel it was too cool just wearing one long-sleeve dress shirt on a Tokyo street in July or late June. However, I had no such memory in Osaka as the song is taking up...so many stupid guys have come from Osaka to Tokyo, including some lawmakers, in these years...A revolution never starts in Osaka, though Nomo and Ichiro, the successful Japanese MLB players, are more associated with Osaka than Tokyo.)

Mat 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Mat 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
