New Rice-Planting Season Coming Soon

(Rice produces more crops than wheat per plant; thus it can support more population.

Yearly monsoon raining in Japan, from June to late July, has had the same effect as periodical flooding of the River Nile and the River Euphrates which allowed for establishment of the human first urban civilization.

Now dry fields are to get water. Young rice plants will be transferred from a seed bed to the field. We will see golden ears of rice plants again in autumn.)
