THE TWO FIRST CENTURIES

(At a shintoism shrine, Japan)

THE TWO FIRST CENTURIES

According to Wikipedia, the sequence of historical events around A.D. 1 or 1 B.C. is as follows:

------------------------------------------------------------
• 63 BCE Pompey captures Jerusalem, and establishes Roman annexation of Judea as a client kingdom. King Judah Aristobulus II removed from power, while his brother John Hyrcanus II becomes king under Roman suzerainty.
• 53 BCE The Parthians defeat the Romans under Crassus in the Battle of Carrhae
• 49 BCE January 10: Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon river, precipitating war with Rome
• 44 BCE Julius Caesar murdered
• 31 BCE Roman Civil War: Battle of Actium — Off the western coast of Greece, forces of Octavian defeat troops under Mark Antony and Cleopatra.
• 27 BCE The Roman Senate votes Octavian the title of Augustus. Augustus eventually assumes all authority formerly held by the Roman senate becoming the first emperor. The Roman state is henceforth known as the Roman Empire, and the period from 27 BCE to CE 305 as the Principate.

• c. 6 to 4 BCE Birth of Jesus of Nazareth (see Chronology of Jesus' birth and death, Anno Domini, and Common Era for further details)

• 9: Three Roman legions were ambushed and destroyed at Teutoberg Forest by Germans under the leadership of Arminius.
• 14: Augustus Caesar, first emperor of Rome, dies. His nephew Tiberius is his successor.
• 27–36: Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Death of Jesus.
• 41–54:
• Christian Council of Jerusalem.
• July 19, 64: Great Fire of Rome, first Roman mass Persecution of Christians, earliest significant recognition of Christians in Rome.
• 66–73 First Jewish-Roman War.
• 70, August: destruction of Herod's Temple in Jerusalem by the Romans under Titus.
------------------------------------------------------------

This is the most mysterious era of the history of mankind.

In 63 B.C., Pompey captures Jerusalem, and establishes Roman annexation of Judea.

In A.D. 66, First Jewish-Roman War leading to destruction of Herod's Temple in Jerusalem by the Romans under Titus.

And thereafter, Israelites have gone under a "great change."

Compare contemporary Judaists, namely the so called “Jews in America and Europe or any other places in addition to in Israel,” with Israelites having lived in the first centuries before and after the birth of “Jesus of Nazareth.”

Extremely speaking, Judaists of today seem to have nothing crucial common to Israelites having lived before the fall of Jerusalem and the subsequent Diaspora.

Very importantly, Judaists of today look like ancient Romans but not ancient Israelites not only in terms of appearance but also concerning ethical standards.

It may be that they think today that they are a kind of Israelites depicted in the Bible, but the truth might be very different.

It may be also that people except Judaists today think that they are a kind of Israelites depicted in the Bible, but the truth might be very different.

Why Jesus Christ had to be born between 63 B.C. and A.D. 66 is the greatest mystery in these 2000 years, even if the second greatest mystery is Islam having been given to Arabs and neighboring peoples in and after the seventh century.

I really hope that you will start to ponder it to get any conclusion or new findings.

It is so since we have a plenty of time till Christmas and a Happy New Year.

President Mr. George W. Bush after his welcome speech reportedly asked Japan’s Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso to stand as a top speaker and address monarachs, presidents, premiers, and other dinitaries in the dinner meeting held in the White House where leaders of 20 nations got together.

Yet, almost every pundit and journalist in Japan is wisely criticizing President Mr. George W. Bush and Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso, saying that the G20 Summit statement has really disappointed them.

Nonetheless, though the present disapproval rating of Mr. George W. Bush is lower than that of Richard Nixon, he has finally proved that the U.S. is still the sole superpower in this era by making a muster of G20 leaders to the White House.

Do not hold a U.S. President cheap.

That is all for today, but where were you?

Where were you, Barack?

A TV interview or a deal with Hillary?
