Who Celebrate Whom after Election?

(The moon observed in Japan)

Who Celebrate Whom after Election?

As of 2004, there are 61,515 lawmakers and legislators all over Japan.

Among them 720 are national lawmakers or Diet members.

All I can say to them is be honest as much as Mr. Barack Obama has been.

SECTION I: Japanese Obamas

The Japanese political community may produce a hero like Mr. Barack Obama in the future.

According to a political information site in the Japanese Internet domain, Japanese national lawmakers whose blogs have been accessed most are as follows in the descending order:

ACCESS RANKING……NATIONAL DIET MEMBER
1. Mr. Satoshi Takayama (Democratic Party of Japan)
2. Mr. Testso Morimoto (D)
3. Mr. Tatsuya Ito (Liberal Democratic Party)
4. Mr. Hideki Niwa (L)
5. Mr. Katsuya Okada (D)
6. Mr. Koichi Takemasa (D)
7. Mr. Takashi Kosugi (L)
8. Mr. Yamato Inaba (L)
9. Mr. Masaaki Akaike (L)
10. Mr. Syuichi Takashima (L)
11. Mr. Masaaki Taira (L)
12. Mr. Ken Kagaya (D)
13. Mr. Yukihisa Fujita (D)
14. Mr. Takeshi Shina (D)
15. Mr. Kazuo Aichi (L)
16. Ms. Hiroe Makiyama (D)
17. Mr. Eiichiro Washio (D)
18. Mr. Natsuo Yamaguchi (New Komeito)
19. Mr. Toru Doi (L)
20. Ms. Satsuki Katayama (L)

However, the most notable Internet user among the Diet members is, probably, Mr. Ichita Yamamoto (L), though Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso (L) ( http://www.aso-taro.jp/index.html ) is also very popular among young Internet users who love the fashionable electronics quarter of Tokyo, Akihabara.

Among the above 20, reasonably drawing public attention are Mr. Katsuya Okada, Mr. Tatsuya Ito, and Ms. Satsuki Katayama, in my personal view, though Mr. Muneo Suzuki (Shinto Daichi) as a comeback politician and Mr. Ryuhei Kawada (independent) as an AIDS fighter are managing their unique homepages, respectively.

(However, note that former Prime Ministers Mr. Shinzo Abe and Mr. Jyunichiro Koizumi are still on the active list of the Japanese Parliament members...)

SECTION II: Ms. Yoshiko Sakurai

Ms. Yoshiko Sakurai is one of the most prestigious critics in the Japanese journalism.

In her blog she recently pointed at the expected rocky road ahead for Japan in its relationship with the Obama Administration.

She found some indications that the situation will get worse between Japan and the U.S.

One big factor adversely affecting the Japan-U.S. relationship is China.

The dollars China has accumulated in these years seem to captivate some Americans holding financial leadership in Washington D.C. and Wall Street.

Even Secretary Mr. Condoleezza Rice is actually advocating the plan to set up the Asian version of NATO, which should inevitably obscure significance and functions of the security partnership of Japan and the United States.

Nonetheless, she is a kind of classic works of the Japanese culture. She speaks exquisite and graceful Japanese, though she had higher education in Hawaii when she was young, though it is unknown if young lady Ms. Sakurai met young boy Mr. Obama then.

I really hate to say, “That is all for today.”

Last evening, Mr. Rush Limbo delivered temperate statements in his radio program received around Tokyo through the FEN station.

I mean he did not say that he would launch the second Civil War against president-elect Mr. Barack Obama, though he added that he was relieved to get rid of Mrs. Clinton.

Rush, it is Abraham Lincoln, JFK, and Mr. Barack Obama that have secured entry in the history textbook in Japan.

It is not Washington, Roosevelt, and Truman in my book.

Anyway, the 20-nation financial conference will be soon held in Washington D.C.

(These days I have really longingly recalled the days under the premiership of Mr. Yasuo Fukuda when Toyota and GM were so shining on the snow-white hill. Haven’t you, Mlles.?

Joh 11:7 Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again.

Joh 11:8 His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?

Joh 11:9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.
