"Sharp as a Two-Edged Sword"

"Sharp as a Two-Edged Sword"

(Islam and Swine Meat or Crude Oil)

Live, just being surrounded by enemies 24 hours, seven days per week.

Then you will know how strange it is for a man to die of an infectious disease.

Indeed, ancient Israelites were wandering in the Sinai desert where they found no friendly tribes for 40 years after the Exodus, so as to go crazy revering a gold calf, which Moses sternly corrected with horrible punishment as the God so wished.

So, friends, 40 years is the norm here, rather proudly.

SECTION I: Health Crises to Address

It is not only swine flu that is threatening good and poor people.

Turn to the God if you do not have big money to buy your health from hospitals and medical doctors, since the meaning and the value of life of each person are decided by the God.

SECTION II: "Mideast and cheaper oil"

Now you know Churchill is ultimately responsible for the present tragedy of Iraq.

You must also know that Former President Mr. George W. Bush highly respects Churchill.

One of the reasons for Mr. Bush's obsession with Iraq before September 2001 looks like having been rooted in his admiration for the Churchill's success in management of Iraq rather than his victory over Hitler.

Mideast and cheaper oil
David Howell

Certainly in OPEC circles and among policymakers in the leading producer states there are some signs of apprehension. They can see a picture emerging, at least in the West and in Japan, of a world of electric transport, nuclear electricity, far greater energy use efficiency and green non-oil energy sources, notably wind power, biofuels and solar power in place of the almost total world oil dependence of the last century.

However, Dubai's mounting debts and bankruptcies have led to some shaking of Arab heads about dangers of going too fast along with this route. Bahrain with dwindling output, serves as a less extreme example of this pattern, or has at any rate avoided the property bubble effects and spending inefficiencies that have forced Dubai to turn next door to Abu Dhabi for help.

Somewhere among these assessments and hopes there is a place for a real vision of a more stable and more prosperous Arabia, lifting itself from the "curse of oil" and from the unbalanced and distorted societies, and disparities of wealth, that have been hall mark of the oil-producing states.

Perhaps they might then open the path to a more dynamic and creative pattern of social and economic advance, recalling the medieval days of Arab greatness and intellectual leadership to which the whole world once looked for enlightenment.

-----------------------------------------

This author, one of the British elites, sounds polite and friendly to Arabs in his writing.

But, it is a lack of full respect for Islam that I sense therein, since the author never uses the words "Islam" and "Muslims" in this long essay dealing with Arab states.

He even does not mention a kind of offset balance of democracy and Islam therein.

The British elite has no intention to help Muslims while Allah seems to request rich men, very rich men, and super rich men of England help Muslims; they are just displaying their superior position to the Arab nations.

So, Muslims must forget about oil and money; they have to develop Islam so that their religion can save them. They have to find a way to leverage Islam for their future development in every field of human activities, including culture, philosophy, science, technology, industry, business, and education.

I really recommend them to go back to the glory of Abraham, if not the glory of the Mesopotamia civilization.

Otherwise, poor and pious Christians in the world might think the view Anglo Saxon and Judaist elites take of the Islamic world should be respected.

The future glory of Muslims and the Islamic world is only possible through development of Islam, but not higher prices of crude oil the abundant existence of which in the Gulf Region is undoubtedly part of the glory and mercy of Allah to pious Muslims (therefore the crude oil business must be based on the teaching of Islam).

*** *** *** ***

That is all for today, since Muslims do not eat swine meat though I am allowed to take it by the God Almighty.

Have you ever been exceptionally and directly by Allah?

Pro 5:1 My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:

Pro 5:2 That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.

Pro 5:3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:

Pro 5:4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.

Pro 5:5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.

Pro 5:6 Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.

Pro 5:7 Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.
