"into a mountain himself alone"

(Main Office Building of the Bank of Japan originally built in 1896 as designed by Kingo Tatsuno)

Behind Global Excitements

It is quite a wonder that thousands of people gathered once only to hear Jesus Christ.

Today, the minds of people are preoccupied by sports and money.

Yet, Jesus Christ says to repent as people's minds are not occupied by the God and His teaching.

SECTION I: Goliath vs. David

Mr. Ivica Osim, ex-manager leading the Japanese National Soccer team till November 2007 when he was taken with a sudden illness, praised the victory of the Japanese team at Bloemfontein's Free State Stadium, South Africa, last night.

Very veteran ex-manager Mr. Osim however said, "As the Japan's defence line receded leaving just 5 meter space to the goal under last-minutes' hard offence by Cameroon players, it was sheer luck to be able to avoid an equalizer." So, Japan 1 against Cameroon 0.

Mr. Osim originally from Sarajevo, Yugoslavia, quoted a passage from the Old Testament in his comment, "Cameroon played a role of Goliath; Japan of David."

Anyway, Japanese manager Takeshi Okada has avoided his fourth consecutive loss in World Cup matches.

African people must start to think about being a hero in other field than football, since it was invented in England as a violent way of time killing.

For example, baseball needs more intelligence and a sense of plotting strategies.

It was rather baseball but not soccer that educated Japanese people to be the leading power in the world.

Most importantly, they look like not liking anything but making money, hedging their scope against every human matter, such as poverty, war, disasters, corruption, and inequity.

They look like laughing at Jesus Christ while thinking they are wiser men. The anger of the God must be upon them, since what they are doing is a pure manipulation of bills and coins over computer systems to make money eve if a fraction of $1 trillion.

SECTION III: Trafficking in Persons

From some statistics prepared by the U.N., the U.S. looks as dangerous as South Africa in terms of crimes involving abduction and abuse of women and children.

---------
How widespread is human trafficking?

It is very difficult to assess the real size of human trafficking because the crime takes place underground, and is often not identified or misidentified.

However, a conservative estimate of the crime puts the number of victims at any one time at 2.5 million. We also know that it affects every region of the world and generates tens of billions of dollars in profits for criminals each year.

In addition, hundreds of thousands of people in North Korea are reportedly put into a kind of labor camps for any minor reasons inconvenient to the establishment.

The Gulf of Mexico must have made residents living on its shore richer with crude oil.

But, as long as the natural resource is monopolized by BP and the likes, poor Americans around the Gulf of Mexico have lost a chance to be rich.

If the State of Louisiana was an independent nation, residents should be now rich by selling crude oil to the United States.

But, it is beyond our imagination that the Gulf of Mexico has become more critical for the appraisal of performance of President Mr. Barack Obama.

Maybe it is time for a new type of hero to emerge, not only in South Africa.

Joh 6:14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

Joh 6:15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.
