"being a just man" - (DNA and Foreign Investment)

Juifs et les Américains

Chinese President Mr. Hu Jintao has visited the U.S.

Strangely, no big arguments about China's bubble are much heard. Indeed, a year ago the World Bank thought there was no serious bubble in China.

http://earlywarn.blogspot.com/2010/01/world-bank-negative-on-chinese-bubble.html

The fact is that the bubble already burst in 2008, but this bubble affected only 30% or so Chinese, namely 400 million Chinese. Another 30% has already entered another bubble. So, the next burst would surely surface unlike the 2008 burst, since there would be 800 million Chinese affected by the second burst.

For the U.S., there is only one important issue: whether or not the Chinese market would import more goods and services from the U.S. so as to increase employment in America, or China would buy more US securities and bonds so that American consumption will increase and reduce unemployment.

In either case, the Chinese economic expansion will not bring about anything spiritually valuable to the Chinese people unless they start to respect freedom and human rights. When Chinese people realize it for themselves, a revolution should happen along with a burst of a bubble.

CHAPTER I: Judaists' DNA

It is recorded in some documents that many Israelites lived in Rome even before the first Jewish-Roman War (66–70 CE).

But, after the fall of Jerusalem and the final defeat by Romans in the second century, no more Testaments on history of Judaists have been written to prevail in the world.

I mean that today no Christians and Judaists use the third Testament, as a sequel of a series including The Old and New Testaments, since it has not been drawn. It also makes it difficult to trace how Israelites and Judaists moved in the Roman Empire and later in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

However, Judaists did not disappear as a tribe as we see today, though through long and complicated paths.

Studies Show Jews’ Genetic Similarity
By NICHOLAS WADE
Published: June 9, 2010

Jewish communities in Europe and the Middle East share many genes inherited from the ancestral Jewish population that lived in the Middle East some 3,000 years ago, even though each community also carries genes from other sources — usually the country in which it lives.
...
Ashkenazic and Sephardic Jews have roughly 30 percent European ancestry, with most of the rest from the Middle East, the two surveys find. The two communities seem very similar to each other genetically, which is unexpected because they have been separated for so long.
...
One explanation is that they come from the same Jewish source population in Europe. The Atzmon-Ostrer team found that the genomic signature of Ashkenazim and Sephardim was very similar to that of Italian Jews, suggesting that an ancient population in northern Italy of Jews intermarried with Italians could have been the common origin. The Ashkenazim first appear in Northern Europe around A.D. 800, but historians suspect that they arrived there from Italy.

Another explanation, which may be complementary to the first, is that there was far more interchange and intermarriage than expected between the two communities in medieval times.

According to the genetic study, Italians of today among peoples in the world are the closest to Judaists of today, including those living in New York and Israel. Of course, Christians all over the world must be spiritually the closest to the Vatican, whether or not they deny the authority of the Pope.

In summary, the past 2000 years looks like still having been a kind of extension of the era of the Roman Empire.

Yet, in the 21st century, it must be changed. No more DNAs of Judaists and authority of the Pope shall count.

CHAPTER II Foreign Direct Investment

Japan's foreign direct investment (FDI) in 2009 is summarized as below:

Japan directly invested $10 billion into the U.S. and $6.5 billion into China during 2009.

The total amount of outstanding FDI by each of major countries at the end of 2008 is as follows:

USA...3,699
UK...1,568
France...1,303
Germany...1,249
Japan...680
S. Korea...96

(in $billion)

Western power, namely American and European power, can be really measured in the above figures of accumulated amounts of overseas investments by them. With U.S., U.K., France, and Germany altogether, they have invested $7.8 trillion into the world in these years.

But where have the U.S. invested in these years?

http://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/misc/RS21118.pdf

The largest target for American investment has been Japan except Europe and Anglo-Saxon nations.

Conversely, the U.S. does not look like behaving as the global leader with its investment potential. It has mainly helped advanced European countries and Anglo-Saxon nations. The U.S. has not used its financial power for sound development of the world.

But, then who has helped G20 countries (excluding G7 and other advanced nations) and China?

Japan has been the most reliable investor into China.

Of course, the U.S. itself has been helping China get great.

And from another angle, the global economy of today is, as everybody feels vaguely, led by the seizure of money by America who issues the sole key currency, the U.S. dollar, to worldwide countries. It was just like the global economy 1700 or 2100 years ago was, as everybody knows apparently, led by the seizure of foods and goods by the Roman Empire who delivered the only meaningful citizenship of the era, the Roman citizenship, to the conquered tribes.

Finally, the U.S. is the greatest benefactor neither to China and other developing countries nor to Japan and some advanced countries in terms of provision of money, funds, and U.S. dollars.

Yet, the U.S. is the greatest and selfish circulator or distributor of dollars, even to its own citizens, workers, and voters.

U.S. Direct Investment Abroad:
Trends and Current Issues

The United States is the largest investor abroad and the largest recipient of direct investment in the world. For some Americans, the national gains attributed to investing overseas are offset by such perceived losses as displaced U.S. workers and lower wages. Some observers believe U.S. firms invest abroad to avoid U.S. labor unions or high U.S. wages, however, 70% of U.S. foreign direct investment is concentrated in high income developed countries. Even more striking is the fact that the share of investment going to developing countries has fallen in recent years. Most economists conclude that direct investment abroad does not lead to fewer jobs or lower incomes overall for Americans and that the majority of jobs lost among U.S. manufacturing firms over the past decade reflect a broad restructuring of U.S. manufacturing industries.

Still something is very untrustworthy with American money handling.

Mencius said:

"Yao (Gyo in Japanese, 堯), a legendary Chinese ruler of ancient China in the 24th to 23rd century BC and Shun (Shun in Japanese, 舜), a legendary leader of ancient China in the 23rd to 22nd century BC practiced their charity and justice to their people, according to their nature.

Some great kings of the ancient Yin Dynasty practiced their charity and justice to their people as they learnt charity and justice through training and improving themselves.

However, the notable five brave kings in the Chunqiu era who relied on their sword to take the position just borrowed the spirit of charity and justice. But, as they did not return what they borrowed for a long time, everybody came to mistake their borrowed virtue as genuine virtue."

According to a Japanese blog, one old homeless man in Tokyo was brought to a hospital, without a hope of recovery, where he was treated somewhat badly by an arrogant doctor who was going to operate on him. So, one of his friends, not old at all, who visited the hospital to ask after the old man, got angry at the doctor, though he did not show the feeling, since he is homeless, too. When coming back from the clinic, he bought a pack of eggs which he broke as he failed in controlling a bicycle he was pedaling. But, at the moment of the minor accident, his anger against the arrogant doctor vanished. [http://yukuri.exblog.jp/12714134/]

So, just remember that there is one homeless man in Japan who has his own blog to report a state of homelessness in which he is living with his friends sometimes so ill.

And for one homeless man in Japan, there are 30 times or more homeless people in America, while in China there are 100 million people materially poor and mentally sick who are not even allowed to live as homeless.)

Mat 1:19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

Mat 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
