"O generation of vipers" - (Politics)

Politics

In this era, it is not good for president or prime minister of any nation to occupy the position for more than two years.

It is not individual relationships that should govern negotiations between countries but a political system of each nation.

If you are given an absolute term of three years, four years, or six years in the premiership or the presidency, you will surely lose a sense of mission or people around you will lose a sense of mission.

The characteristic of a nation should be expressed as a political system but not by a specific individual in premiership or presidency for so long.

In this context, Japan can have a new prime minister on the yearly base, since internal contention is so tense.

And, 90% of the Japanese people think that they are, at least, politically middle class and equal to all the others.

PART I: Japan's Foreign Minister Resigned

Foreign Minister of Japan Mr. Seiji Maehara resigned today.

He received political funds from a foreigner, which was against Japanese law.

If he intentionally received money for his political activities from a foreigner, he would be forced to resign from the Parliament membership, though he claims that he has not been aware that the foreigner donated money.

An old Korean woman living in Japan for a long time contributed 50,000 yen in each of past five years. Mr. Maehara has long personal acquaintance with her, since he was a teenager. So, he invited her to his governmental office to take pictures with her when he was National Land and Transportation Minister. He is supposed to have been aware of her donation.

Accordingly, Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan is gong to see his approval rating further going down. Before Mr. Maehara's resignation, the approval rating was already around 20%, a dangerous level.

In addition, Mr. Maehara is said to have a special or dubious link with North Korea; he also received donation from a company indirectly connected to a criminal.
Kan in ‘Crisis’ as Maehara’s Fall Deepens Japan Finance Dilemma

Japan’s lower house of parliament passed Kan’s record 92.4 trillion yen budget on March 1. Kan, though, has failed to convince the opposition to support the financing bills, which require approval of either the opposition-controlled Upper House or a two-thirds majority in the Lower House, which the DPJ lacks.

Maehara was the most favored person to become prime minister in a Sankei newspaper survey published March 1, preferred by 10.2 percent of those polled. He was followed by DPJ Secretary General Katsuya Okada with 8.1 percent.

However, this incident is a clear indication that democracy and law are functioning well in Japan.

It is said that China is under the rule of men, but Japan is a nation ruled by law. Any promising and rising young politician, such as Mr. Maehara, cannot escape this rule.

Accordingly, it is almost impossible for such world leaders of China, Russia, Italy, France, etc. to continue to keep their positions if the Japanese standards were applied.

Christ Jesus made a clear distinction between enemies and friends.

However, though an Israelite He was, He did not give a challenge to the Romans. Instead, He was on the alert for religious leaders and some religiously-oriented groups of people.

Yet, His being a member of ancient Judaists counts so much. He tried to correct the Judaism at the time to the right path. Nonetheless, He also practiced his religious performance at a level available to mankind in general.

So, Christ Jesus conducted two-directional religious acts: one way to orthodox Judaism and another to a new religion to be so called Christianity.

The point at issue is that the Bible is intended to mainly emphasize the latter, though his tense relationship with the then mainstream Judaists formed His story.

Yet, very objectively, Christ Jesus could be regarded as a messenger of the God as is found in a teaching of Islam.

The three religions might have to be situated around Christ Jesus first prior to grand reconciliation.
