Illiteracy & War

If 100% of the Afghan people could read and write, they would not support the Taliban and AlQaeda.

If 100% of the Pakistani people could read and write, they would not support Mr. Osama bin Laden.

If 100% of the American people could command a high level of language skills like President Mr. Obama and Secretary Mrs. Clinton, they would not be fooled by super-rich people, namely big beneficiaries from the War in Afghanistan.

The archenemy of poor Muslims and poor Americans is the same, illiteracy.

SECTION V: Illiteracy: More Enemy than America

Muslims in the world should realize that their archenemy is not the U.S. It is illiteracy. It is a social system that deliberately leaves many Muslims in a state of illiteracy.

For example, had the literacy rate of the Soviet Union been lower than it was actually between 1950's and 1980's, there would have been a big chance of nuclear warfare between the USSR and the USA.

Literacy rate among predominantly Muslim societies: Soviet Republics vs. Other

ex-Soviet:

Kazakhstan: 99.3%
Tajikistan: 99.1%
Uzbekistan: 99%
Turkmenistan: 98.3%
Azerbaijan: 98.2%
Kyrgyzstan: 98.1%

Islamic States:

Afghanistan: 12.6% (The only Muslim country in the region that was not part of the USSR)
Bahrain: 85% (A pleasant surprise)
Brunei: 88.5%
Iran: 73%
Mauritania: 31.9%
Oman: 73.5%
Pakistan: 36% (Thanks to General Al-Huq's Madrassas)
Yemen: 30% (It would be interesting to compare the old Democratic Yemen vs. the part that had always been under Islamism)
Saudi Arabia: 70.8%

Islam as State Religion:

Qatar: 88.6%
Algeria: 61%
Bangladesh: 31.8%
Egypt: 59.4% (This is fucking pathetic, given that Egypt's longtime party is a member of the Socialist International. Why those fucks have not been expelled, I'll never know.)
Kuwait: 91%
Malaysia: 85.4% (Wonder about the ethnic breakdown here? I'd assume close to universal among Chinese.)
Maldives: 97.3% (Hmmm...For a country barbaric enough to ban religious minorities from voting or acquiring full citizenship, surprisingly impressive.)
Morocco: 39.6%
Tunisia: 65.3%
UAE: 81.7%

Secular states with Muslim pluralities and majorities, excluding ex-Soviet:

Burkina Faso: 15.2%
Gambia: 32.8%
Guinea-Bissau: 27.4%
Mali: 39.6%
Senegal: 30.7%
Chad: 39.3%
Djibouti: 59.4%
Somalia: 25.8% (The new President is a graduate of Carleton University (my school), so maybe it'll get better.)
Indonesia: 86.8% (No thanks to Suharto.)
Albania: 79.5% (Coincidentally, a Venezuelan party that identifies itself as an ideological heir of Enver Hoxha opposes the Bolivarian Revolution. Given Albania's poor literacy rate, one ought to not be surprised.)
Bosnia and Herzegovina: 94% (Thanks, Tito.)
Turkey: 79.6% (Not surprising. Some segments of the population have strongly resisted secularization.)

SECTION VI: Japan with 99.999% Literacy Rate

As Japanese people invented its unique phonogram letters based on Kanji (imported Chinese letters) before the 10th century, reading and writing well prevailed among men and women in the noble class, the samurai class, and the farmers, the craftsmen, and the merchants unlike in China where difficulty in learning complex Chinese letters hindered most of ordinary people and farmers from learning letters till the end of WWII when the Chinese Communist Party adopted simplified Chinese letters.

The Literacy Rate in Japan

2008-08-20 Posted in mentality and culture

One of the things that amazed Europeans that arrived in Japan at the end of the Edo period(1603-1867)was that Japanese were highly educated. It was believed that the literacy rate was over 80 percent in cities like Edo (now Tokyo) and Osaka.

The first nationwide literacy test was conducted by GHQ in 1948 during the Occupation period. It tested about 20,000 Japanese men and woman between the ages of 15 and 64 throughout the country. It was found that the rate of literacy was higher than the world and American standards.

The test result was cited as proof that the level of literacy of the majority of prewar Japanese was high, and it dismissed the Occupation policy which claimed for the script reform (Romanization).

With this higher level (almost 100%) of the literacy rate, the Empire of Japan ventured into the Pearl Harbor Attack to save its face and interest in the Chinese Continent, since the war was expected by Japanese elites to be halted in a few years into peace negotiations with the U.S. Probably, it was a religious matter that superseded judgement of the Japanese people based on the intelligence backed by a higher level of literacy.

(In this context, the Empire of Japan was the only Asian nation that fought war against nations of Christianity in the world-history scale, as an Asian nation of non-Judaism/Christianity/Islam religion, though North Korea, China, and Vietnam have followed European socialism fighting a local war against the U.S., in these 1000 years of history.

To make sure, I have ever met only two Japanese persons who could not read Japanese letters though I have been engaged in the Japanese society for decades. Probably, around one in 100,000 but not more than one in 10,000, an illiteracy rate among the 127 million people.)

SECTION VII: Illiteracy: Archenemy of America, Too

To be an American citizen or become US President, you do not have to fluently read and write English. You just have to be born in America, if it is in Hawaii or Chicago.

Literacy Statistics [of America]

...In each type of literacy, 13 percent of adults were at or above Proficient (indicating they possess the skills necessary to perform complex and challenging literacy activities) in 2003. Twenty-two percent of adults were Below Basic (indicating they possess no more than the most simple and concrete literacy skills) in quantitative literacy, compared with 14 percent in prose literacy and 12 percent in document literacy."
...
Many of the USA ills are directly related to illiteracy. Just a few statistics:
- Literacy is learned. Illiteracy is passed along by parents who cannot read or write.

- One child in four grows up not knowing how to read.

- 43% of adults at Level 1 literacy skills live in poverty compared to only 4% of those at Level 5

- 3 out of 4 food stamp recipients perform in the lowest 2 literacy levels

- 90% of welfare recipients are high school dropouts

- 16 to 19 year old girls at the poverty level and below, with below average skills, are 6 times more likely to have out-of-wedlock children than their reading counterparts.

- Low literary costs $73 million per year in terms of direct health care costs. A recent study by Pfizer put the cost much higher.

The 9/11 Terror of 2001 changed the life of Mr. Barack Obama forever.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- On Sept. 11, 2001, Barack Obama was driving to a state legislative hearing in Chicago when he heard the first sketchy reports of a plane hitting the World Trade Center on his car radio. The 40-year-old state senator spent the afternoon in his law office watching "nightmare images" of destruction and grief unfold on TV.

Within days, he'd issued a statement about what the nation should do next.

http://www.swamppolitics.com/news/politics/blog/2009/09/obama_on_911_a_new_bullhorn.html

Or, almost conversely, the fate of Mr. Osama bin Laden was decided on September 11, 2001, since Mr. Obama was driving to a state legislative hearing in Chicago when he heard the first sketchy reports of a plane hitting the World Trade Center on his car radio.

Outwardly, any combination of incidents is used by the God for His scenario, so awfully.

But, if in order for the first African American President to be realized the God used the 9/11 Terror of 2001 and Mr. Osama bin Laden, what could we comment on the fates of the two persons: Mr. Barack Obama and Mr. Osama bin Laden?

Yet, even if a single victim involved in the War on Terror in this decade, whether in New York, Washington DC, Afghanistan, Iraq, London, Madrid, Bali, etc., made an objection against this holy scenario, the God would not miss it. An answer must be given.

Mar 5:5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.

Mar 5:6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,

Mar 5:7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
