Global Unemployment (Le taux de chômage global)

If 10% of members of society is very rich, there must be 10% jobless people.

It is because very rich men hoard money, thus interfering with circulation of money and wealth in society. Those most affected will inevitably lose their jobs.

In other word, without neglecting the unemployed, you cannot be very rich. And, neglecting jobless people is very bad thing in any religion. Therefore, all the very rich men would land in hell eventually, according to any religion.

By the way, it is very interesting that the unemployment rates in Mexico and Pakistan are now lower than that in the U.S.

SECTION I: Unemployment Rate

Jobless people are everywhere on the earth, though they are still a minority since 80% to 90% of the work force is engaged in some professions. However, younger population has been hard hit everywhere.

...
Looking ahead, the Geneva-based ILO predicted that jobless levels would drop in 2011 by just a fraction, to 6.1 per cent, corresponding to global unemployment figure of 203.3 million.
...
Youth unemployment dropped slightly in 2010, but was still well above 2007 levels.
'Across 56 countries with available data, there are 1.7 million fewer youth in the labour market than expected based on longer term trends, indicating that discouragement among youth has risen sharply,' the ILO warned.

Though estimates vary, a recent study by Twentysomething Inc., a consulting firm specializing in marketing to young adults, predicted that of the 2 million graduates in the class of 2011, 85 percent will return home because they can't secure jobs that might give them more choices and more control over their lives.

SECTION III: Chinese Graduates

The job separation rate within a year for 2009 graduates from colleges in China is 22%.

The job separation rate within three years for 2006 graduates from colleges in China is 88%.

The unemployment rate of Chinese college graduates is 9.3%, though the rate for total work force is 4.1%.

SECTION IV: Provision of Unemployment Allowance

T: Total revenues of businesses in a country

S: Total incomes of workers in the country

A: Total unemployment allowance in the country

R: Total costs other than labor costs in businesses

P: Total public work costs

T = S + A + R + P

The point is that the government should first take all the revenues of businesses as tax and then distribute them among businesses, workers, the unemployed, and the public service sector.

Every nation should adopt this equation and scheme.

In a survey conducted by Japan's Kyodo News Service on June 2 and 3, the approval rating for PM Mr. Naoto Kan was 33.4%.

In the latest survey conducted on June 28 and 29, the approval rating for PM Mr. Naoto Kan was 23.2%.

Those who want Mr. Kan to step down from the premiership by the end of August account for 67.6%.

The point at issue is that Prime Minister Mr. Kan has not much contributed to effective response to the 3/11 Great Disaster of East Japan, including the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident.

He is not fully supported by members of the ruling DPJ. He is worsening relationships with opposition parties. But, still he pretends that he is doing well and he has secured his position through political tricks and selfish tactics.

The major reason why he can still occupy the prime minister's office is that there are no strong rivals in the party. However, as it is apparent that the DPJ will be routed in the next general election with Mr. Kan as the head of the party, other members will have to select somebody that will replace Mr. Kan sooner or later.

It is the largest social and political concern in Japan today.

Mat 6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
