"Give not that which is holy unto the dogs" - (Education)

Education (l'éducation)

If language and religion are different, education also differs in various aspects.

If a Muslim child is measured against criteria designed in the Christian world, he cannot make a high score. If a Christian child is measured against criteria designed in the Islamic world, he cannot make a high score.

However, business dealing with crude oil and the US dollar has established criteria that can apply to Christians, Muslims, and everybody effectively on an equal basis. Yet, this situation is not desirable.

It is said that China has selected some special schools in Shanghai to train children learning there in a special manner for this international academic achievement survey.

In addition, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Liechtenstein are kind of cities. They do not include a wider farming region. They cannot be regarded as ordinary countries.

And, though the U.S. is ranked low, Canada maintains a relatively higher position. So, it is a little too easy to say that future of the U.S. is dim, since it constitutes the North American cultural zone with Canada.

Yet, it is remarkable that the U.K., France, and Germany look like losing interest in providing excellent education for their children. Future of Western European Civilization is not necessarily as bright as that of East Asia.
